Dearest causes the best emotions in concert
InuKyo's final theme stirs Japanese audience
Best of Kaoru Wada Concert
As you know "Inuyasha" and "Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon)" had a symphonic concert last December 18 in Japan.
She attended to live the experience it would be to hear the wonderful work of Kaoru Wada.
Amongst the entire repertoire the emotion was felt most when they reached the penultimate song, which is called "Dearest" aka "The Theme of Kikyo's Death".
At that time he recounts that at the same time the chapter of the goodbye and the kiss between Inuyasha and Kikyo was played (Inuyasha Kanketsu-hen chapter
And at that moment "The auditorium became a sea of tears" and his live experience recounts it as "sentimental and most beautiful"

I’m surprised that not a lot of Inuyasha fans talk about this specific screenshot of Inuyasha in the Final Act.
Tumblr media
I can’t even imagine the emotions that must be going through his head at this moment. To have been separated from the love of your life for 3 years, never knowing if she’d return. To go to the well every 3 days in hopes that she might come back, but meeting an empty well every time. Every day, a little more hope is lost until one day…. one day he finally senses her presence.
You can only imagine how nervous and anxious Inuyasha must be feeling. Seeing the sweat on his face, the look in his eyes, it says it all. He has been waiting so long for this opportunity, to the point he didn’t know whether it would actually happen or not. For it to now be happening right before his eyes, he’s in a state of shock, disbelief, anxiousness, and excitement. I would give to hear all the thoughts going inside his head at this moment.
The reunion of Inuyasha and Kagome is by far one of my favorite moments in anime history.

I may not say it much, but I constantly think about Kagome and Inuyasha and their amazing, feral daughter Moroha.
I love them so much. They all live rent free in my head constantly. They're the family ever.

Something I’ve noticed (and have fallen victim to myself) is that Sango gets little to no attention? And she gets pushed aside by the narrative most of the time and it can render her development … boring? But she’s not though! I enjoy and wished we got more information on demon slayer culture. It’s so fucking cool!
Sango is not only the best in her village, her father fully depended on her and there didn’t seem to be this weird patriarchal system that like… idk “favored” Kohaku. You know what I mean “But he’s the SON of the chief!! He has to lead now that he’s dead! Sango a woman oo-“
Like no we got to see a pretty wholesome dynamic and then got Midoriko lore. Sango is also a really nice balance of feminine dainty lady and fierce badass bitch without that… being the main focus? Because when I think about Sango, I just think about someone so so so devoted to their family. Cool older sister. The person you run to when you need to spill the tea. Idk I wish she had more moments to shine.
Like her sparing with Inuyasha!!!!! Come on!!!!! That’s so fucking easy?!!!
AuGHHh I’m making myself crazy thinking about Sangos childhood being in the middle of demon territory and casually training with her loving family. Like did she need to make her own weponds? Did they go yokai hunting for crafting material??? Did they have culturally specific ways (ethical?) ways of doing that? It just seemed like they had a bunch of systems going!! We even see Sango craft a little too I think. Unless that was filler? (I loved that episode with the ninja sisters lol)
In conclusion, Sango is cool she just needed more screen time.
