I think I'll have to hit pause on the Inventober prompts here. I do want to finish them in my own time and I really want to make like, a menagerie compilation of my favorite pieces once I finish them all. But I won't be uploading them daily and it realistically might be mid-November by the time I finish lol

Even so, I'm super proud of how long I was able to keep up with this challenge. I almost always gave up on -tober style challenges at or before the end of the second week in the past so to make it this far? Feels like I'm slowly making progress.

She was restless and uncertain, her arms wrapped around his abdomen and her cold nose pressed against his chest. She was unused to a pallet, even one hardly stuffed with straw; previously only using hard rocks and piles of leaves, and moss for her bed.

His fingers drew across her skin, from the curve of her shoulder to her exposed collarbone. Theon swallowed thickly, aching with desire. His mating gland was inflamed and raw, as he dragged his jagged fingernails across it.
