Incorrect Quote # 1
Arnav: Can you be quiet?
Khushi: .....
Arnav: I am trying to think
Khushi: Don’t worry. Doing anything for the first time is difficult.

DDM,You remember that Khushi's seeing Arnav everywhere scene? Well, I know you do. Hahaha the best was "Shubh Dipabali Khushi ji" *and Arnav smiles* was so hilarious. And my favourite extra in IPKKND is that auto driver,"Aree oo madam, auto na chalau to kya hero baan jawoon? Na jane kaha kaha se chale aate hain" Ludicrous!

Hello TTji! I hope your life is going safe and sound. This is my first ever ask to you :)
Did you watch Bahu Hamari Rajnikant? It used to air on Life Ok around 2016 ig. If yes,did you like it?
I used to raven it. I've only watched very few daily soaps except IPKKND, and Bahu Hamari Rajnikant was, I believe, one of those ITV soaps which deserved an ovation. It was far from the stereotypical serial plots and characters. Though they messed up after changing the male lead. It showed us, ITV can work on comedic track as the main theme. Also, the casts were tremendous.
Thanks for your time. Take care :)
Hey friend! Welcome to the blog!
I haven’t watched it, but whatever gifsets I’ve seen on the blog of my friend @ambar-pe-milte-hain it looks very cute! Like a grown up, desi version of Small Wonder (one of my fave shows growing up!) 🥰🥰🥰

Arnav + Khushi Sleeping Positions
Talk about thinking random stuffs midnight!
Tumblr media
While it’s usually not a position to be too worried about, it might be a good idea to converse with your partner if this is a sudden change from a more intimate sleeping position.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
JWB Notes: t’s interesting to note that they usually sleep apart when one is too stressed (such as Khushi’s afraid about Aarav’s paternity, Arnav is bothered by what he is as a husband, and him getting his nightmare about his parents). There is a slight distance and I love it that it is shown especially during times of duress. Psychologically, it makes sense.
Tumblr media
If you sleep facing each other but don’t touch, some believe there could be an issue in the relationship. Both partners may desire attention from each other, but are failing to give it.
To combat this, experts recommend prioritizing listening to one another and being open and honest about your feelings.
However, it can also be read as another position called pillow talk. This is a sign that you’re close and open to sharing things with each other.
Tumblr media
JWB Notes: Ok, Arnav is awake over here and this scene ends up with him holding her hand but I find it so accurate that this scene is establishing two things. One, he is having a one sided pillow talk and two, there is an issue in the relationship. He is not prioritizing listening to her, or the fact that his words even reach her. He is not being open about his feelings (otherwise he’d say it when he’s awake). Yet it’s a sign of intimacy from him. It’s so conflicted and beautiful at once.
Tumblr media
A pretty self-explanatory sleeping position, this involves both people facing each other with their heads at the same level and their bodies intertwined.
Sleeping in this way suggests the two individuals are incredibly close and generally happy in their relationship.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JWB Notes: I know this might feel off key considering that they’re far from happy in their relationship in both the sequences but some very important things are happening here. In the first image Arnav, for the first time, truly realizes his failure as a husband and is openly exhibiting his need for intimacy - a gentle touch. It’s the most successful their six months relationship has ever been at that point because Khushi has always been more open and it was necessary for him to go through the understanding. In the second one while they are going through a bitter/comedic argument, there’s no questioning whether or not love exists. It does. There are no physical boundaries drawn at this moment. There’s almost a domesticity of this scene that makes me think that perhaps this is how they fall asleep in general.
Tumblr media
A rather intense position, the tangle is apparently rarely seen. When it does occur, it’s usually immediately after an intimate situation or at the beginning of a new relationship. It can only be described as this: an extremely close hug, but lying down. In other words, not a lot of breathing room.
While the tangle is okay every now and then, long-term incidences may prompt you to rethink how dependent you are on each other.
Tumblr media
JWB Notes: Yes, absolutely there is a necessity to rethink how dependent they are on each other because Khushi absolutely cannot leave him despite the worst and he cannot let her go even if its for the best, for her. Also it’s not visible here but the reason I put it as tangle is because he’s literally holding her face in this point. And their sleeping position here is also similar to leg-hug;
Tumblr media
A second passionate posture is the leg hug. Whether your feet are touching every so often or your legs are fully intertwined, this position is asking for intimacy.
If both of you are doing it, that’s a good sign. But if only one person is into the leg hug, there may be a slight imbalance in the relationship.
Tumblr media
JWB Notes: YES! THIS I FIRMLY WANT TO SAY HIGHLIGHTS THAT KHUSHI WAS CRAVING INTIMACY. And that there is an imbalance in this relationship. It’s played to a comedic effect (regrettably all of Khushi’s emotions often are, post marriage) but you SEE it here who’s investing and ultimately wanting more in this relationship and my heart breaks for Khushi. Also, she physically exhibits more in her house rather than Arnav’s - which makes sense because she is physically more comfortable here than at Arnav’s.
Tumblr media
Also known as the nuzzle, this practically cherubic position sees one person sleeping flat on their back while the other rests their head on the first person’s chest. Legs and arms often “hug” each other too.
Just like spooning, this is deemed to be a protective posture with an added touch of passion.
Tumblr media
JWB Notes: This is my favorite sleeping position of theirs because it is so adorable and made sense it’s what we see right after marriage considering they’re literally in their honeymoon phase. There’s acknowledged intimacy, a burst of love, they literally cannot get their hands off each other with her head on his shoulder. Which, in an odd way nearly mimics their previous ‘honeymoon’ night... it’s interesting to note their hands aren’t touching though, just the head and shoulders. And it’s a flip here, Arnav’s head is on her shoulder!
Tumblr media
Hope you liked going down this silly rabbit hole with me!
Love,
- JWB

“You will always be what you have always been. The Devil.”
Words Khushi flung to a torn Arnav on a night of nearly irreparable damage.
I am so fascinated by the cinematography over here because in the second scene when he’s stopping her from leaving the house, the cinematography and blocking of actors is so identical to the previous scene where he actually terrified Khushi.
The emotions in Arnav eyes, the context, the pain give a heaven and hell difference in both the scenes. But does it matter when ultimately his actions and words inflict just as much pain as they did before?
So the visual differences in these two scenes are stunning because in Khushi there’s no anxiety in the second scene, there’s only despair and uncertainty. And in Arnav the tilt of his head says everything. In the first sequence he’s determined, his ego has been insulted after all. But in the second his head is low in shame. In guilt. In regret. The subtle differences makes it so cool to see just these shots next to each other for it is a parallel yet it isn’t.
Two scenes that are visually the same but couldn’t have been more different.
One where Arnav truly is one, and then pretends to be one to stop Khushi.
And unfortunately two where Khushi is equally hurt because the context doesn’t matter. The contextual difference is Arnav. The pain, fear and the devil are all the same for Khushi.
*note: this is strictly in regards to the cinematography of these three shots (I’m not taking Khushi’s own fallacies and mistakes into consideration). Also these are some things that I can bet the showmakers didn’t go back to review the previous scene and write the other one - it’s one of the few things you can only see in retrospect after it’s all out.
