You said that Jos x Trent is your dark horse ship, I can totally see it and would like to know your thoughts on this ship as you have now got it into my head. I won’t ask for any fics as you seem to have a lot to write already.

Speaking of RR, the friendship between Jos and Yuzi is really great and gives me ship vibes but I can totally see Yuzi being supportive of Jos x Joe in last years IPL. Also Jos x Ashwin seems like it could be an enemies to friends to lovers ship.

Jos is my favourite cricketer, he is adorable and tbh he can be paired with so many cricketers although my favourite is Jos x Joe (although I am really wanting a Bos/Stootler fic now that you’ve gotten me hooked on the pairings).

Aww Jos, he flits in and out of my head on a regular basis. I have Roottlers, Boses and Stoottlers planned for our white ball captain (and will eventually write them al muhahaha)

Trent/Jos has always vibed with me because of RR and that quick fire vids just really added the fuel my head was looking for. I love the question Trent asks about CWC 2019 vs T20 CWC 2022 "Yeah but did they actually win?" and Jos' "2019 CWC Draw" comment - seems like there is definitely something there.

I can so see 2019 being the trigger point for Jos/Trent, and then coming together to play for RR (I'd have to look up when that happened but boyo if it's 2020 timelines would work perfectly). Trent is still a bit bitter about the CWC final, Jos just wants to be liked and it all comes down to Trent buying an England T20 2022 CWC shirt and secretly cheering for his man to get his team across the line.

As for Jos with Yuzi - yes, yes, 100000 times yes. The RR admin is begging for someone to write it (surely there are some?). But that vibe is definetly more a Steve/Marnus vibe of Yuzi just adoring Jos and wanting him to love him (Yuzi wins him over eventualy because he's just too adorable and Jos finds himself missing that adorable little floof, always happy to be going out to the IPL).

Jos/Aswin is a new one on me - I'd need some more examples of that to make comment.

I own the original model Kenzzi! It's served me well, but it gets really hot during a session of use, so if you're doing a larger area like your legs or underarms you need to take breaks to let it cool down. I bought mine in 2020 - if I were buying one this year I would look into a newer model with cooling technology included. I've heard good things about the Ulike brand as well, but have only tested the classic Kenzzi.

A note on IPL - it's best when you have a medium to high level of contrast between your hair and skin, so unfortunately it's not great for darker skin tones or for folks with blonde hair. If you have light-ish skin and dark-ish hair, though, it's super effective!

Since 2020 we have been working with SeaForester to restore kelp forests in Portugal. These underwater forests are astonishing havens for marine life which also improve water quality and sequester carbon. Unfortunately, large areas of kelp have disappeared from the coast of Portugal but reverting this trend has been difficult. One of the challenges is that restoration efforts tend to require extensive diving which quickly becomes costly and time-consuming. A new technique called “green gravel” has been developed to address this challenge and make large scale marine reforestation possible. It involves growing kelp attached to pebbles in a lab before deploying them at suitable locations in the ocean. For this project, we are building a kelp nursery that will allow us to test this method on a larger scale.

so good reading dan christian's book because he goes through the IPL season 2021, describing all those games and the in-between stuff in detail, which is great because i barely followed it at all except to wake up to maxi's team winning or losing

Tawny on the left, choco on the right...

so turns out my imda Elodie is actually choco skin, not tawny. But the current versions of those resins has choco as darker than tawny? Based on recent choco skin pics, it's definitely darker than my Elodie. I've heard that soom was not very consistent with their tans in the past so maybe it's that? That or she's just greened that much (which I doubt, it's only been 4 years).

Anyway dfh's closest match to my girl is this "soom light tan 2020" (right pic, was emailed, but I can't find any other pics of?? Maybe they got confused with iple?) Thinking I'll take them up on it next year when I have more money. This older imda body can't hold her head up at all :( she can't stand or sit upright
