infatuation; first crush?

I didn’t recognize this as a crush until I got older and realized I was gay, but when I was really little (ages 3-6) I had a crush on my aunt’s girlfriend. She was thick and butch, with dark hair and a great laugh. I remember thinking in my tiny baby brain that she was MY girlfriend because she gave me granola bars when my aunt said it was too late, and she carried me on her shoulders and let me take naps on her. 

I still see her nowadays even though they’ve been broken up for almost two decades, and I get flustered remembering when I had a puppy crush on her lol

valentine; best gift you’ve ever received?

My favorite kinds of gifts are the homemade kind or the ones with a lot of sentimental value behind them. I’d say my favorite would have to be my papa’s FFA (Future Farmers of America) jacket that he wore all throughout his time in high school. He gave it to me when I got to high school and I still have it in my keepsake chest.

51. Do you have any tattoos? If so, of what and where?

Not yet, but I have two I might get in the not-too-distant future. One I’ve wanted for a while with some little animals representing different major parts of my life. A Peacock for my home town, where feral peacocks were common, a goose for the town I went to college in, that constantly had geese around, flying at night in the dark, and terrorizing my apartment complex, and a bison for my Ranger life right now. Maybe an Okapi or a rat for my time at the zoo.

Then a couple of my most excellent friends and I are trying to get a group geology tattoo that says “oh please accept beans” for steps on Bowen’s Reaction Series. Speaking of which I should be doing sketches for that!

74. Favorite costume you wore for Halloween? How old were you?

Okay, so @23rdhunter​ also asked me this, and honestly I never really liked dressing up for Halloween. It always made me very uncomfortable and self conscious, and I hated talking to people about my costumes.

Looking in family pictures as an adult though I really like the pictures from my first Halloween where I was dressed as an eggplant and it was just like a big purple sac and a green knit cap which was very silly.

UGH the million dollar question

I’ve never been an insomniac but falling asleep has literally always taken me 30+minutes. Like when I was a kid I had this problem too. I just. want to do all the things.

Last night I folded laundry before bed and that seemed to help. Also if it’s cool enough I have a microwavable bean sack that I cuddle and that chills me right TF out. Also helps with headaches and cold feet.

Bahah, I love and hate this question -- love because man do I know the feeling of feeling like someone is “favourite” and hate because I’m polyamorous so why would I pick ONE favourite person?

My palemate @ave-ari whomst I call favourite the most, I met on this site! We were both in the Death Note fandom and my affection was won forever when he dropped into my inbox to say nice things about my fic and then showered me with fan art. We also met in person for the first time two (two??) years later and went camping together!

Hey so I know you're gonna stop posting soon but before you go could you do a like Top 50 Most Relatable Pictures of Doofenshmritz or something? Like a countdown or a photoset or something? It would be cool to get the most relatable photos as you go out. I just really love this blog and I'm gonna miss it.

Hmmm, are you talking about the Top 50 out of fresh/upcoming relatable pictures, or a comprehensive review of all them? I don’t post them from some sort of stock I have (though I did this in the beginning when I only had 1,064), i’m screenshotting them as I go through the series/wouldn’t be able to do a comprehensive review of all the top ones until i’m completely done and the results are in, which would also mean no countdown since it would be taking place beyond the end. Also, don’t photosets only hold up to 10 images? I’m not really a countdown kind of person, either…but maybe I can post one of those “Best of Tumblr” things once i’m finished!

Miss Carpenter’s features twisted into a sympathetic scowl. “Rosalind Jones if you don’t stop being a baby and let me clean this, it’s gonna get infected.”
