Always hilarious how these clowns believe in IQ tests as a way to certify if one's smart or not when they have been disproven long ago
There are no certain method to evaluate if someone is smart, but for sure are key details to know for sure if someone is a dumb idiot
Like that blue check, for example

I remember the time my so called “best friend” laughed at me in public because I told him my IQ score was 122.
I went on lots of websites and they all said the same thing.
What was so funny about me having an IQ of 122? What, because it’s above average? And oh wait, you think I’m fucking thick!
Oh yeah, now I remember you telling me repeatedly, that my attention span was the size of a flea!
What best friend does that? I don’t know any others “best friend” doing that?
When I see peoples best friends, they aren’t putting them down. They aren’t making them feel like they’re thick at everything.
I’m fed up with being put down by people who think they know me. They don’t know me. They don’t know what I am truly capable off! I’m fed up with it. I just want to be viewed by my family and friends as intelligent. As someone who isn’t thick. I know I am not THICK! I am not UNINTELLIGENT!
From Google: True friends are usually those who offer you support, improve your quality of life, promote self-confidence, provide unconditional love, and help you progress mentally.
What about my so called "best friend" is any of that? NONE! A "best friend" doesn't PUT YOU DOWN! A "best friend" doesn't sit on a PUBLIC TRAIN and tell you (their best friend) that they pretty much think YOU'RE THICK!!!!
Well, an IQ of 122, isn't thick! its above the normal range. It's above average! So, that proves it! I AM NOT THICK! I AM NOT UNINTELLIGENT! I DO NOT HAVE THE ATTENTION SPAN OF A FUCKING FLEA!!!!!

I know maths can be hard sometimes, but this wrong on so many levels
if they mean answering the questions, then its only 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 not 83%
they might mean there is a threshold for 'successfully' completing an IQ test, suggesting that 83% don't finish the test properly, which makes it a bad test.
if they mean, that 83% are below average, then they aren't using a bell curve correctly, and have just modelled it wrong.

The best thing I learned in psychology was that IQ tests were made to stop the French from being classist and putting all the poor people in lower grades. Basically it was invented as a system to categorize all the children and put them in the right grade when education became free. How it works is on a scale with 100 being average. So if you get a 100 then you are in the grade of other children your age. If you get above a 100 that means what they teach children your age is too easy for you and you should be in a higher grade and whatever grade you got above a 100 would determine how high they would move you up. If you got below a 100 then that meant things they normally taught to kids your own age was too hard and you should be in a lower grade and however much under 100 you got would determine how much lower they would put you. IQ tests were never meant to test intelligence they were always meant as a category system so it would be easier to meet each child’s needs and not become classist. Then once the guy who invented it died it got fucked up and suddenly it started to become intelligence based. It was meant to test children’s needs in an easy way not to make kids feel inferior. Every child is different and so they needed a way to test what grade to put them in.
Edit: Just refreshed on this the man who invented it believed intelligence wasn’t a fixed thing and it could be improved upon. Also it was called the Binet Scale and they measured it by taking your current age and multiplying it by one hundred. So say you were six years old you should get a six hundred and if you got below that you went to a special school that could give you more individual attention than you would get at a regular school. It wasn’t until he died that a man named Goddard came in and fucked everything up by thinking that intelligence was fixed and never changing.
Alfred Binet inventor of the Simon-Binet scale which was the precursor to the IQ test: Some recent thinkers…[have affirmed] that an individual’s intelligence is a fixed quantity, a quantity that cannot be increased. We must protest and react against this brutal pessimism; we must try to demonstrate that it is founded on nothing.

What I’ve spent the last 3 hours doing
- Watching “The Queen’s Gambit”
- Looking up Beth’s and Townes age difference
-Found out Beth is an INTJ
-Researched INTJs
-Read several articles talking about the difference between INTJs and INTPs
-Went to Pinterest and looked at INTP memes
-Saw one that said “Takes IQ quizzes for fun”
-Took an online IQ quiz. Had to pay for results.
- Took an online quiz AGAIN. Had to pay for results AGAIN.
-Did one that claimed to be free. Had to pay for results.
-Saw an article recommending one free quiz
- Took free quiz and enjoyed it :)
- Then took another quiz that was similar to that one to try and correct my simple mistakes from the first quiz
-Got a worse result on my second try
-Got sad and realized I just spent 3 hours doing all of that
Tl;dr : I have no concept of time . Pls help.
