I was thinking today about Damian having a nightmare and coming into Bruce’s room in the middle of the night to suggest that they’re under attack from Scarecrow. Bruce figures out pretty quickly that Damian’s self-described “acute mental disturbance” was actually just his kid having a bad dream, and eventually he just lifts the sheets and lets him snuggle in next to him, which Damian reluctantly accepts 🥺
Damian having to accept sometimes that he is still just a kid… that’s the shit that gets me 😭 Sometimes he gets scared. Sometimes he needs a hug, or to play with a cool toy, even if he doesn’t fully accept that himself.
Dont know if i’m going to take this any further, but if I do it’ll probably just be some simple moonlit lighting. god i love them,,,
ps. damian’s teddy is a gloomy bear. it has claws and blood on its fur and angry eyebrows that he added himself. he thinks it’s very menacing and much more true to real bears

I’m in my Josh Groban era and I will not apologise 🕺
On a serious note though the great comet of 1812 has touched my soul like no other musical has done before. And the staging is so interactive and alive especially with the audience sitting with the actors and the orchestra pit being centre stage and having the actors be part of the pit and stage. Ugh I’m obsessed. It’s honestly such a masterpiece of theatre.
“It seems to me/ That this comet/ Feels me/ Feels my softened and uplifted soul/ And my newly melted heart/ Now blossoming/ Into a new life” - Pierre, The Great Comet of 1812
