.. So my irl bestie has made the risky promise of- "if you write fanfic, ill write fanfic" so here i am, posting this shit, to spite her, its an au ive been working on bc i feel like the universes fit together- heres some of my ideas.

Lumera- a world renound sword maker, shes made legendary swords that have defeated dragons to fleets of armies. Famous for her craft she lives on a large estate in Lythos, a small town of peaceful people in the earth nation, a non bender,. Though with her fighting techniques youd never tell the difference.

Vander- a friend of Lady Lumera, secretive, and strict, a metal bender

Alear- raised within the walls of her mothers villa and workshop, she took up a severe intrest in martial arts, quite practiced in it she frequents to Dojo on Lythos to her be trained, by Vander of course, a long time friend of Lady Lumera, a non bender who is soon plunged into her responsibilies and the pressure of being the Avatar

Clanne- the boy is a water bender- a.. Clumsy one at that- though hes one of Alears cloest friends- he keeps all sorts of secrets hes been sworn into by Vander

Framme- Alears other friend, a girl who may rival Alear in her martial arts abilities, a water bender who can only use it for healing abilities, though she doesn't seem to bothered by that, she happens to be a loud mouth, and is very upset by what her brother and Vander aren't letting her know.

Alfred- prince of the earth kingdom, and frail in his own way, though if you mention that youll be subjected in tagging along with his job through the nearby mountain range, he never met Alear until they met in a china shop, Celine wanted new china for her tea parties,, and Alear didn't quite know how she ended up there, but lets just say they didn't leave with any china, nothing was left in one piece

Ivy- princess of the southern water tribe, reluctant as her father dives into the possibilitys with dead bodies, water bending, and war. Shes caught in quite the mess, unsure of what side she should be on, not wanting to leave her poor kid sister behind with people who manipulate the long dead.

Diamant- prince of the fire nation, he met Alear while camping with his father and brother. The "avatar" had gotten caught in Alcryst's hunting trap, which was quite a hilarious fiasco of his yelled apologies and offers of everything he owned as a "sorry" , he decides to try to teach Alear fire bending which they soon realize is easier said than done.

Timerra- a powerful air bending monk, known for.. Being the chillest around really, she finds the "avatar" amusing, and is also quite suspicious of if this girl is really capable of anything other than tripping over her own sword and completing others to no end.

Idk if this is crap or not i havent shown anything ive written publicly since 2014 💀

Heres a lil snippet of the first chapter, so yall can see what my writings like and if its worth reading or anything. Im a newbie definitely, and.. Very wordy but my irl bestie said she'll be my beta reader and editor for me! So hopefully that will improve if she gets the time to do so.

"Alear knew something was off the moment her mother informed her it was time to forge a sword of her own. Lumera was a master in the crafting of blades of all sorts, but never seemed too worried about teaching Alear the details of her work. Alear was alright with it, she had her own talents, such as her martial arts, that she was always working on, Lumera understood her child walked a different path than her own. Which. Is why it confused Alear so when her mother became adamant she needed a sword of the finest silver and the sharpest blade as soon as possible. And even more confused she became when her mother told her she would forge the sword to make it the closest to her liking. It was a nerve wracking process which made Alear appreciate her mothers work to no end..however LIberation was done in due time. The silver and gold sword felt heavy in her hands, but.. a sort of comforting weight , one she knew would help protect her shall it ever need too. Lumera gave a soft chortling laugh.

‘’My child you are not supposed to hold it in such a way- your lucky your have gloves ‘lest you cut yourself!’’ She took Alears confused and clumsy hands, showing her the proper way to handle the blade.

‘’Oh.. I still don't understand why I need a sword- much less one of silver and meteorite metals! I think this sword is better than even the blades you use!’’ She exclaimed…feeling the grief for Lumeras financial state. ‘’I don't see the issue? The daughter of a sword master should have something to show for her lineage.’’ She gave her child a bright smile, her light blue hair tied back into a regal bun, as she reached into a wooden crate by her side and pulled from it a steel sword with a blue leather hilt, the blade having been dulled of course but Alear sure as hell didn't know that. As her face convulsed into an expression of panic and confusion. Her mother lunged at her, swords clashing as Alear defended her face from a slash , in a less than graceful manner." soyeah. Uhm we'll see if i write it- lemme know how my writing is.

And heres a drawing of the main cast's designs, hope i combined ATLA with ENGAGE nicley and this isnt just a total cringe fest ill look back on as i tremble in terror of the memory in passing years.

i read a post saying how we should make true barbiesonas based on the movie concept of each doll being tied to a real-world person and their mindset influencing the doll’s own SO. though p much all the ones i had were movie/princess dolls heres the story of the only generic barbie and ken i had/have <3

Travel Barbie

i tried finding her in the attic but with no success, she might’ve been donated <:/ either way she was a generic blonde barbie that usually had her hair pulled up/back so it looked cool in her helmet, but i can’t remember what color eyes were so for uniqueness sake imma say she had color shifting hazel eyes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (face claim is chloe grace mortez (or sabrina carpenter, ive been a fan of hers for forever but i dont think her eyes or face/body shape match the character so im torn))

yall i had SO many vehicles, the only one i still have is her bike but i also remember a pink car, a little camper van, and a carriage for the princesses ofc

so it only makes sense that her ‘job’ would be traveling/exploring, just making her way across the country through different means and sharing her experiences, maybe through reviews and blogposts maybe through writing and memoirs who knows :p

i’m leaning towards the latter so she can mirror my own love of writing and flowery word choice, just not to an award-winning degree but girl me neither dw

i also want to imbue my creative nature into her so she also loves drawing singing and cooking— painting the sceneries she comes across to capture their vibrancy, vibing along to the radio as she drives or camps out for the night, and making herself tasty pancakes and smoothies and pasta and chili and cupcakes and smores using the limited counter space she has to fuel up and treat herself throughout the course of the day <3

assumedly she would also be rather active/athletic and resourceful, with a decent amount of knowledge regarding mechanics so she could fix any malfunctions while on the road

(this tracks cause my mom has an rv herself and is also handy like that so she would inherit those traits from my mom (her grandma ig?? if you wanna think about it like that lol) which furthers the familial themes of the movie)

also i absolutely ADORED weird barbie’s robot dog so my barbie’s getting a dog too!! a curly haired poodle that loves water and long rides like my irl dog does!! is it real? that’s up to reader interpretation ;)

as mentioned above my main dolls were ones from the animated movies, specifically the diamond castle since it was and is my all time favorite, and i had alexa and liana along with melody and the two other muses

(yall the texture on their grecian dresses was SO nice i remember it to this day—)

(i also had rosella from the island princess movie which was my second favorite)

i don’t know if they’d be in barbie land canonically but i’m not characterizing them here cause they’re… already… characters…

BUT i’m using that to say travel barbie is friends with royalty, and as such is simultaneously fun and friendly while being mature and refined with a princess-y vibe from being surrounded by them so much

maybe cause gloria had skipper’s treehouse as a kid so her barbie lived next to it, my barbie would live next to the diamond castle or sumn afshjdasvdjs

in terms of who she is it makes sense, being well-traveled and getting the chance to meet people from all walks of life, and just clicking with them specifically for no particular reason

but it also works in terms of who I am/was, even when i was super young i was kind and generous and bouncy but a bit more serious and reserved than other kids, it just works so well with how those traits would reflect on my barbie both in and out of universe :))

if she’s still in my possession/house somewhere and connected to me then at the VERY moment shes just generally emotional with an inexplicable love of life and humanity yall im telling you this movie is affecting meeee—

overall tho she’s more mushy like stereotypical barbie, sad and complicated and anxious for no reason at times but still lively and talented and living her best life and working through it all with the help of her friends

i can’t remember if i’ve found her in the past, but man i hope i didn’t have her out for long, that’s how you get “inexplicable thoughts of death barbie” and “highschool dropout barbie” and “why don’t i have a real job why is everyone around me so much more successful barbie” and “feeling inferior and ugly and ashamed and unlovable barbie”

A/N: Sorry issa late update, I had something written but I didn't like it so I scrapped it and wrote this instead :/ I’ve done something along this idea in the past in the Vol I book, but I can’t for the life of me remember the title so rip :/ also sorry for the irregular updates n stuff. I have a lot happening irl with my mental health and school n stuff so that sucks.

Lights flashed and the bass from music boomed loudly from speakers around the room as people danced around me while I walked throughout the boys house, desperate to find Edwin, or any of the boys, after what had happened moments prior..

~flashback~

“Ugly whore!” One girl yelled, throwing her drink on me. “Edwin doesn't love you!” Another yelled as she ripped my phone from my hands and threw it to the ground. “Stay away from Edwin! He doesn't love you! If I find out you talk to him again it won't be pretty!” The last girl yelled as all three of them left the bathroom, leaving me there on the cold floor alone. I cry as the last bit of the overwhelming fear rushed through me and left my body. Edwin and I weren't quote on quote “official”, but we definitely had feelings for each other and according to the boys, he was in love with me in a way they had never seen him in love. I had that same feeling for him, but after the event with the girls, I was scared to be with him

~end of flashback~

I push through the sea of people in the kitchen and finally see Edwin and the boys. My eyes start to brim with tears as I try to get Edwin’s attention. “..Ed?” I say, quietly but loud enough for him to hear over the chatter and music. “Yeah?” He says, turning to face me, His face dropping as he sees my teary eyes and alcohol covered dress. “What happened, Y/N? Who did this?” A tear rolls down my face as Edwin pulls me into the hallway and walks me into his room. As soon as I hear the door close I break down, crying into his chest. “Sierra, Natalie and Emily (if any of those are your names feel free to change them lol) happened” I stutter out. “They walked into the bathroom while I was in on the phone with my sister,” I say as I continue to tell Edwin the rest of the story. Once I finished speaking, it was silent. The only thing you could hear was the noise from the party happening outside the room. I feel Edwin pull me into his chest, hugging me. “I’m so sorry babygirl” He says, rubbing my back. “Do you want to go back out there or do you want to stay in here for now?” I choose the second option and I change into the spare clothes I had in my bag. I come out of the bathroom where I changed and, to my surprise, Edwin was still there. “Aren't you going back out to the party?” I ask as he shakes his head. “Nah. I’d rather stay in here with my princess than go party with them” He says, patting the spot on the bed next to him, Pulling me into his side when I finally lay down.

I wake up tangled in Edwin’s limbs and the warm comforter of his bed. The bright light of the sun from the outside shone (shined? shone? Idk im illiterate lmao) through the blinds, lighting up the room beautifully. I look to my right to see Edwin sleeping peacefully next to me. I decide not to go anywhere until Edwin woke up, so I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and opened it for the first time since the incident the night before. I open Instagram and scroll through a couple posts before looking at some stories. I get through a couple stories before stumbling upon Zions story. There was a few videos from the party then a picture. A picture of Edwin and I cuddling in his bed with the caption “Came in to check on Ed but found this. Cute ass bitches smh” I chuckle at the post before putting down my phone and laying in the bed. About 20 minutes go by before Edwin wakes up, but I didn't notice at first.I feel him lay his head in the crook of my neck, placing a kiss there softly. “Good morning princess” he mumbles into my neck. “Morning baby” I say back. We lay there in silence for a few minutes before Edwin speaks up. “I’m sorry about what happened last night, and I dont want whatever the girls said to affect our relationship. I love you, Y/N, and I need you in my life. Will you be my girlfriend?” He asks, pulling his head out of my neck, his brown eyes staring into mine. “Of course, Ed.” I say, kissing his cheek. “I love you more”

(Sorry. Kinda ranty and all over the place im typing this as thought pop into my head.)

Ok... so like scrolling through the tag has been weird. I never really talk fandom because im not a fandom person, but im confused. There is a lot of negativity going on in weird ways. And im not gonna sit here and tell yall to get over it and just be happy because the show is blah blah blah. Cuz thats just a dick thing to say. Be angry about whatever idgaf. All i want to say is that Im genuinely confused here about /why/ people are upset.

So Svtfoe is about a 14-15 year old girl,going through teenage girl life with a magical twist. Its a seasonal bad guy show with a somewhat overlying plot/goal. The story follows star as she lives her life as a magical teenage princess. And im just puzzled as to why people think that the plot isnt progressing or character develop isnt progressing /because/ of the personal aspects of stars life. Star is dealing with crushes, puberty, responsiblilty and just growing up. Shes human...mewman...shes a person. And thats apart of her story.

Svtfoes plot is 50% magical politics and 50% romance. Thats just the frame work of the show. The bones of the story. Its been like that since s1. Thats /the/ story thats being told. Love and politics are both parts of the same plot. S1 -3 all have equal parts politics and romance, that grow at the same time, that peak and resolve at the same time because both things are very imortant to star theure both parts of stars life. Which is what were watching here. So im just not seeing why people are upset that the "love triangle" isnt over and done with by episode 4 in s4 when the politics havent even been solved by ep 4 s4. I mean it wouldnt make any sense for stars relationships to be solved before the end of the show when her relationships are a part of the over all plot. The endgame for this show is supposed to be the resolution of everything of the whole story. It would be weird if the show just resolved half of its plot within 4 episodes while the other half kept going. Its like atla, aang and katara got together literally in the last moment of the show, and the plot was resolved in the last episode of the show. Aang and katara didnt end up together halfway through book 3 while the "plot" kept going, because their romance was supposed to be endgame just like the final battle.

Like ok. So maybe people are upset that romance is such a heavy part of the story and to that i have to say "and?" . Like i get it. Romance in kids shows especially heteronormative romance in kids shows can be boring as hell when its shoe horned into the story. But svftoe from day 1, has been about romance and love and star and marco /and/ tom. Thats kinda the point. Svtfoe isnt supposed to be fully focused on political drama. Its a teen coming of age type story. If youre here for the "plot" than cool. But the plot involves stars love triangle. Thats why it " takes up" so much time.

And ok, i know people are mad that star isnt "growing" ...but she objectively is...slowely. Yall seem to be forgetting thats shes literally a 15 year old. Idk if yall have met 15 year olds, but their development isnt a straight line to maturity. Escpecially not in a years span of time. Stars relationships while frustrating are realistic. Having been a 15 year old and been involved with kids professionally for a while now I can say that her relationships are almost painfully realistic.

(Minus the magic and demons). 15 year olds are constantly breaking up, getting back together, working things out, and figuring out what they want. And its just as aggrivating irl as it is in svtfoe. Star is a kid, shes had 1 boyfriend and she has a crush on someone else. Thats how a lot of teen romances are. Because teens are stupid and inexperienced.

Shes a /kid/. Like idk if its just me. But if star just matured in a straight line like some sage of romance, it would be weird. Shes a 15 year old. It would be weird if over the course of one year she had the perfect love life. I mean realistically if she did end up with marco or tom by series end. They wouldnt star together forever. Realistically if the show continued till star was 20, she'd still be deciding who to date.

Idk how to end this... anyways. Not hating on any ships or anything. Im what the kids call a "multishipper". And im not hating on povs either. If yall are upset about whatever. Than fine i dont really care. Thats your deal, and its how you feel so im not gonna hate son you for it.

I found out through either Tumblr or google I cant remember which??? Or maybe I saw it on Tumblr and googled it? Either way Tumblr was a factor

When did you know you were aromantic?

I tried dating my best friend and ended it in like 3 days bc I felt so fucking weird about the whole thing like very uncomfortable??? Like I felt like I couldn’t talk to him about certain stuff anymore and just being called someone’s “girlfriend” makes my skin crawl. I always had some weirdness around romance but I thought it was just bc I haven’t “found the right person yet” but if anyone was the “right person” it was my best friend and I couldn’t do it. Being Aromantic isn’t cringey, its a valid orientation just like any other and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. Ive spent too much time pretending to be alloromantic just to fit in, I’ve embarrassed myself too many times by pretending to be allo, Ive gone too far into my life pretending to be something im not just because its easier for others to understand. Ive gone through too much to discover my orientation to have some fucking losers on the internet tell me that its ‘not a real orientation’. Im aromantic. I feel comfortable in that label and no one can take that away from me.
