I was watching Aladdin and I can’t help but think of Irondad whenever the Genie calls Aladdin ‘kid’. Or in that scene when Aladdin is drowning and the Genie saves him. And now I want to read/write and AU in which Peter finds a lamp and the genie inside is Tony

Okay, so I’m getting into the new Aladdin since the clip of Will Smith’s Prince Ali, and thus this Au was born.

Tony Stark as Genie

Peter Parker as Aladdin

I mean Imagine:

In my version, No Jasmine, unless y’all want that trope. MJ would be a good candidate.

My idea was that this version of Agrabah, (or New York) has been the main city of crime for years, aside from all the rich cats, who pretty much have it all and give away none of it.

And in the middle of it all, poor Street Rat, Peter Parker is orphaned and alone in the large city. Constantly being picked on and mugged, even when he’s got nothing to offer. But, he always stands up for the ones who can’t fight back.

One day, he was approached by Adrian Toomes who offered him a large sum of money if he goes into the Ancient Ruined Tower, that only allows those with a heroes heart to enter, and retrieves an old, broken Arc Reactor.

With his pure heart, Peter was able to enter the tower and retrieve the reactor. However, when Toomes entered and tried to steal the reactor away, the Tower sensed his dark heart, and banished him out. In the process, locking Peter and the Arc Reactor inside the tower.

While trapped inside, Peter found tools and managed to fix the strange device, which released the hero: Iron Man.

For setting him free, and proving himself worthy, Iron Man offered Peter any power that he desired.

The only thing Peter really wanted to use his power for, was to help out all the little guys, to save more than he could before.

And thus, Tony gave Peter a suit to conceal his identity and granted him the powers of a Spider.

Using his powers, Spider-Man brought hope to the people of New York.

And of course, Tony being all: “You may look like a hero on the outside but I didn’t change anything on the inside”

Yada, Yada! You know the rest.

I’m just giving the idea here. Feel free to add on.

My idea for the ending, is when Peter wished Tony to be set free from the Arc Reactor, Tony decides to adopt him.

ALADDIN AU!? That sounds amazing, and I'm discovering I have a weakness for Disney AUs. Please tell me all about it!

i’ve only written like half of the fist chapter so far but i have this whole thing planned out

ned and peter are just two teens trying to get by in agrabah, thieving from the rich and giving to the poor. tony’s just a genie bored of living in his lamp. and mj’s just a princess wishing she can be sultan one day

sprinkle in a bunch of wishes, some near death experiences, and an evil vizier by the name of quentin beck and there you have it!

I was hoping you could tell me more about your Aladdin AU. I've never seen anything like that and I'm intrigued. ❤️

here is a post with the basic idea, but it was getting a little long

peter and ned both have been stealing to survive since they were young, and one day peter steals from the wrong person - the princess (MJ)

when he goes to return what he stole, the royal vizier (beck) kidnaps him and takes him to the cave of wonders to find a magic lamp. after some shenanigans peter ends up trapped in the cave with the lamp

enter tony, the huge, blue genie who offers him three wishes

aaand... here’s a little extract from what ive written so far

He watched shadows dance on the fabric, listened out for signs someone was coming his way. Several minutes later, a pair of voices quickly drew closer. Blowing out a breath, Peter waited until they were almost upon him before bursting out from behind the cloth, running straight into the couple.

“Aah!” The lady cried. She jumped back as Peter knocked into her and fell back. He lunged forwards and caught her arm.

“I’m so sorry!” Peter helped her upright. “I was in a world of my own, didn’t see you coming. So sorry.” He flashed her a wide, apologetic smile.

Slowly, she smiled back. “No harm done.”

“Just be careful the next time,” the friend added as they walked away.

“I will,” he called after them. Once far enough away, Peter dropped his smile and instead frowned at the bracelet in his hand. It wasn’t as intricate as he’d have liked, a simple gold band with no other gems or decoration. He glanced back at the couple, they stood at a stall bartering with a salesman. Neither had noticed the bracelt’s absence, and he needed to get out before they did. That particular mistake was one he’d made before.

i spent all of the morning drawing aladdin’s clothes over his funnel shirt and making him look all dirty and??? i actually kinda like it??? thought about adding tony or ned but it’d be too crowded i think

I’ve got a pretty solid plan for a Spideychelle slow burn which will also feature some heavy Irondad (more info soon)
