How to Make Sport Fun
Hello! Here I come with a new request! This came from @thenerdysimp : “where reader and Ben is that cute gym-couple. Like they are working out for Shadow and bone or something and they are doing pull-ups together. (Like she has her legs around his waist while they are holding the bar together) When he is doing push-ups she is laying on the floor under him to give him a kiss every time he comes down and when she is doing sit-ups he is holding her feet to giver her a kiss every time she comes up. The cast is just teasing them about it all the time but they couldn’t care less😌
I just see Ben as a big simp😂”
I completely agree with you about Ben being a simp, he is an absolute softie like… zejzeijroiejrzijrezi!!!
(Also, know that I hate sport, and know nothing about working out, so sorry if some details don’t make sense, I had to google these things).
I hope you all like this fic! Please, tell me what you think about it.
****
Pairing: Ben Barnes x reader
Warnings: Extreeeeeeme fluffiness!! Tooth-rotting fluff!! Just lots of disgustingly sweet cuteness!! It also got very very flirtatious for some reason, I don’t know why… *glances over at a picture of Ben working out* yeah, I know why…
Summary: You hate working out. Ben hates working out. Lucky for the two of you, like most things in life, it’s more fun when you do it with someone you love.

Working out is (almost) never fun.
Muscles aching, sweat sticking to your skin, breathing hard like a bloody buffalo… All traces of sexiness gone for good. And the need to focus, the whole seriousness of it.
Many disadvantages in workouts, but then it keeps you healthy, so it’s not that bad. And it is needed for this role of yours you’re going to play in a couple of months in Shadow and Bone, so you don’t exactly have a choice.
And then… well, there’s the fact that your husband is training with you these days. And that brings a lot of fun to the whole exercise.
Goodbye to the stern sessions, the focused frowns. Instead, you’re getting a very goofy husband currently improvising a karaoke session in the empty training room rented by the studio for the cast and crew to use.
It’s early still, most people are still in bed, but that’s why you’ve come now. You and Ben have the room only for the two of you. You train with a coach as well, but only twice a week, the rest of your sessions are spent laughing at your husband’s silly choreographies more than actually working out.
Although… that’s not exactly true. After all, laughing does train your abs. That’s why your stomach is painful right now…
“IIIIII WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY!” Ben is singing at the top of his lungs next to you while dancing, bringing out his most ridiculous moves on purpose just to make you laugh.
He sings along with the radio, turning fully to you for the next verse.
“IIIII WANNA FEEL THE HEAT FOR SOMEBODY!” he points at you as he sings, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively as he insists on the word ‘heat’, making you double with laughter.
He can’t go on as you lean on him for support, laughing too much to stay upright. His laughter soon joins yours.
“Are you laughing at my singing?” he asks, faking outrage, still struggling to speak.
You shake your head, unable to speak at all. You choke on your laughter, making his grin double in size and a wave of giggles bubble on his lips.
“I wouldn’t dare,” you finally answer.
You brush your tears away, and he does the same.
“I love you,” you sigh, holding your painful stomach. “You’re such an idiot.”
“And now you’re insulting the artist…”
He gives you a dramatic pout, puppy eyes and a theatrical sniffle for good measure. You giggle at him, but it works all the same, his evil plan. Because now you’re wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to kiss his lips, the radio still blurting the old hit song.
“Awwww, poor Benjamin…”
“Don’t call me that!” he protests, but he lets you kiss his cheek anyway, his beard tickling your skin. “I hate it!”
“What should I call you then? Thomas?”
He lets out a disgusted growl.
“Barnes?”
“Oh, stop it! Call me a real name?”
“A real name?”
“What you usually call me.”
“What do I call you again? I don’t remember…”
He rolls his eyes, pouting again.
“You’re so mean!” he complains.
You giggle into his beard, but give in anyway.
“Aww, my sweetheart!”
“Better…”
“My love.”
“Hmmm…”
“My darling.”
“Keep going…”
“Baby.”
“Yes?”
“My husband. My man. Handsome. Lovely. Honey…”
“Yeah, these are very good,” he nods in approval, before leaning in to kiss you, passionate and yet tender still.
When he moves his lips to your neck, you gently push him away, shaking your head.
“Oh, I see what you’re trying to do here, mister!” you warn him. “And you’re not getting away with it!”
“Getting away with what?” he asks back, faking innocence, but he’s got this mischievous glint in his eyes and smile, and you’re not fooled.
You wave a finger at him.
“Do not distract me with your charm and your kisses! You’re due for some pull-ups.”
“You think I’m charming?” he shoots you a flirtatious smile, and you roll your eyes despite the heat that spreads across your whole body because of how his voice is deeper than usual, sulkier, huskier…
“Why do you think I’ve married you?”
“My money?”
“I wish. It would have caused me less trouble. I wouldn’t be here sweating my ass off if I did. I’d be drinking cocktails by a disgustingly expensive pool then, like any real gold digger.”
“’Sweating your ass off?’ Can you be less romantic?”
“I can’t. But, my love…”
“Hmm?”
“Pull-ups!”
He groans, mumbling something about his tyrant of a wife, but walks over to the bars anyway.
“Come on, get to work,” you tease him some more, just for good measure, landing a playful slap on his butt that makes him chuckle. “These muscles of yours won’t grow by themselves.”
“Are you saying that that’s what you want? More muscles? I didn’t know you did. Want me to sign you up at the bodybuilder fan club?”
“Our director wants you to grow some muscles. Me? I mean… I don’t mind the muscles. But your pretty eyes are enough to woo me.”
He grins at that, bright and genuine, before dropping a sweet peck to your lips. Your cheeks hurt a little after smiling so much.
“Part of my charms, I’m sure,” he jokes, but you nod in all seriousness.
“Absolutely. You have very pretty eyes.”
“Well, thank you. But they aren’t as pretty as yours, my love.”
“Sweet-talking your way out of training, I see…”
“I’m not!” he defends himself, and as to prove a point, he stands under the bar, getting ready.
“Come on! You can do it!” you encourage him, and he winks at you before getting to work.
Yes, these sessions with your goofy husband are a laugh. But then again, you can’t deny that he’s redefining other disadvantages of these sessions too…
You mentioned the loss of sexiness? That doesn’t seem to apply to your husband. Not at all. Quite the opposite.
You struggle a little to swallow as you stare at Ben, pulling up his weight until his chin goes all the way above the steel bar. Muscles flexing, tensing, bulging under his black t-shirt. His face strained by the effort, and the veins on his forehead and his neck pulsing as he struggles. His cheeks have reddened, and he heaves a loud breath at the next climb. He’s sweaty, beads rolling down the side of his face, but you find that sexy. You’ve stopped encouraging him altogether, merely admiring your husband. You can’t find anything to say at all, anyway. Your brain has stopped functioning as soon as your eyes have landed on his tensed biceps, pale skin glimmering with the thin layer of sweat under the white neon lights…
Only when you hear him letting out a grunt, and that he remains suspended above the ground but not moving up anymore do you finally bring yourself back to earth.
“Come on! You can do one more!” you encourage him.
“How many did I do?”
“Huh…”
“You counted, right?”
“Yes…?”
“What were you doing, then?”
He’s still out of breath, voice a little strained because of the effort, and you decide to definitely scratch that argument against training.
It can definitely be hot…
“Come on, I lost count, but you can do one more!”
But Ben shakes his head.
“Too tired.”
He’s about to let go, but you press him on.
“Come on! One more! For me!”
He grunts.
“Why do you want to torture me so much anyway?” he asks, clearly annoyed.
“Honestly?”
“Yes…” he answers, raising up an eyebrow, surprised by your tone.
“Your biceps look amazing when you do pull-ups. It’s super hot.”
He explodes with laughter, and has to let go of the bar, laughing too hard.
“What?” you ask, amused and trying to shy away.
But Ben shakes his head.
“I’m sweaty and disgusting right now,” he argues, but you shake your head.
And there’s something terribly hungry in your eyes, even if you try to hide it. It makes him grow serious in the blink of an eye, while his heart misses a few beats.
Damn, you’re really something else…
“I think you look hot,” you answer earnestly.
He shakes his head, still amused, but grabs the bar again anyway.
“Yes! Go on! Go on!” you cheer on, your eyes glued to his arms as he pulls himself up above the bar.
He lets go, exhausted, as soon as he is done. He rubs the painful muscle of his right arm with a small wince.
“I hate you,” he claims as you approach.
“Awww, my poor baby.”
Your fingers replace his as you massage his weary arm, and he heaves a relieved sigh at the feeling. Soon, a playful smirk is back on his lips.
“So… sexy enough for you?” he asks with a wink.
“Not bad,” you answer, but the grin on your lips betrays your thoughts.
“The other arm is very painful too, you know?”
“Fishing for attention, now?”
“Only massages for my sore muscles.”
“Oh… well, I wanted to give you a kiss, but as you just need some massage…”
“I won’t pass on a kiss, though.”
“Too late! Lost your chance.”
But the next second, he’s wrapping his arms around you, pulling you close as you rest your hands on his upper arms, still rubbing his skin.
“Never too late for a kiss,” he grins, leaning in and kissing you for a rather long while.
“You’re sweaty,” you point out after he finally frees you from his tight embrace.
“And? Disgusting?”
“Weirdly enough, not really.”
He raises an eyebrow.
“Sexy?”
“Rather, yes.”
“You have to stop all this… flirtation. Innuendo. Temptation… or we’ll never finish our training session.”
You laugh at that, replacing Ben under the bar to do pull-ups too. He helps you by holding your legs for the last couple of tractions, and rewards you with some water and a couple of pecks in your hair.
“You’re sweaty too,” it’s his turn to point it out.
“And? Disgusting?” you ask, playing a long.
“Not gonna lie… it’s kinda gross.”
You swat him playfully on the shoulder, both of you laughing at the teasing.
“I’m obviously kidding. You are always gorgeous,” he corrects himself, and you roll your eyes.
“Sweet-talking your way out of trouble, as always…”
“Absolutely not. Just stating facts. We should do sit-ups now, let our arms rest a bit before we do push-ups.”
You nod in agreement, putting your bottle away.
You hold Ben’s feet when he lies down, knees bent. When he sits up, his face coming to your level again, you lean to press a kiss to his lips, making him giggle in surprise.
You’re too adorable, he can’t help it. Because he can’t say he enjoys this kind of workout sessions, but you make them unbearably more fun…
“Nice reward,” he grins, stealing another kiss before lying back down.
“I think so too. You’ll have to give me those too…” you’re interrupted by his lips as he comes up again, “…when it’s my turn.”
“Deal,” he smiles, pecking your lips once more.
And he does. Once it’s your time to get to work, he gives you kisses every time. You do a few more just to steal kisses, and he notices, but he doesn’t complain.
You’re the one to start with the push-ups next, and Ben would be lying if he claimed to have kept a perfect count throughout the exercise. Because he didn’t think seeing you sweaty and huffing and exhausted could look sexy… outside of a bedroom, that is. But it is, one thousand percent. And he kind of gets why you wanted to see one more pull-up before. Because now your muscles are flexing, and your hair clings to your temples, and you have that determined look on your face he finds absolutely endearing…
“How many do I have left?” you ask, struggling to breathe, your forearms shaking slightly as you hold yourself up.
“Two,” he claims, giving a random number as his brain has stopped functioning long minutes ago.
“Right…”
He counts with you to cheer you up, and he can’t help but laugh when you let yourself crash on the mat when you’re done.
You let out a dramatic moan, making his laughter double.
“Poor baby!” he coos, kneeling next to you and running his fingers through your hair. “Come on, my turn, and then we’re done for today.”
You turn your head towards him, just enough to look at him.
“Can we get a coffee afterwards?” you ask in a shy tone.
“Sure, I’ll get you coffee,” Ben nods, smiling, voice tender.
“And my shoulders hurt a lot,” you complain in a baby voice.
“Awww…”
“Can I get a massage afterwards?”
“Yes, you can.”
“And a shower with you?”
“Yes, we can take a shower together.”
“And sex in the shower?”
He explods with laughter, while you chuckle, a mischievous smile on your lips.
“You’re unbelievable,” he answers with fondness, shaking his head.
“Is that a yes?”
“Undoubtedly. Have I ever said no to that kind of offer?”
“Don’t know… seeing me like this could kill my sex-appeal for good.”
“Actually, you doing these push-ups was rather hot.”
“Really?”
He nods, standing again.
“Come on! My turn! Hurry up, we have many things to do after this. And some I’m very excited about.”
There’s flirt in his crooked smile, it oozes charms and his voice grows huskier as he speaks. You can’t help the way your heart skips a beat.
But you don’t move just yet, groaning at your painful muscles.
Ben chuckles, standing over you, his arms crossed before his chest.
“I do have a very nice view of your ass from up here, so I can’t say that I’m willing to complain about you lying down like this a little longer… but you have to move if you want this session to end.”
You smile while Ben bends to pinch your thigh through your leggings, making you squeal and let out a bright wave of laughter.
“I knew you loved my arse,” you answer proudly, wriggling happily on the floor as you turn to lay on your back.
Ben rolls his eyes.
“I do tell you every single day how beautiful you are, my darling,” he reminds you, shaking his head with a tender smile.
“You do,” you nod, your smile matching his. “But it never gets old.”
“Why do you think I married you in the first place?”
“My money?”
“I wish. It would have gotten me in less trouble than your pretty arse.”
“When did I get you into trouble?”
“Every single day since we met.”
“Fair enough…”
You laugh, and finally sit up, until an idea crosses your mind, and you choose to lie back down.
You have a mischievous on your lips, and Ben looks at you warily.
“I’ve got an idea!”
“Hmm… and a terrible one, judging by that smirk on your face. What did I just say about trouble, again?”
“Come on! In position!” you order, ignoring him. “You’re gonna do your push-ups above me.”
His eyes grow round.
“What?”
“Come on! In position!”
He hesitates for a second, but he’s too used to your antics to argue. He knows you’ll end up convincing him anyway, so he rolls his eyes again, for good measure, but complies. He holds himself up above you.
“Like that?” he asks, frowning a little.
But you nod.
“Now, do a push-up!”
“I’m going to crush you, darling,” he argues, an amused smile on his lips.
“Of course not! Come on! Do a push-up!”
“It won’t work…”
“Stop arguing! And do it! Trust me!”
“You? You’re a mischief maker, I don’t trust you one bit.”
“Ouch, that hurts! To your own wife!”
“You heard me.”
But he bends down anyway, bringing his body against you, and as you kiss him when he gets down, right before he would pull himself up again. He chuckles, struggling to keep his balance as his body shakes with laughter, and you soon join him.
“So, that was your evil plan, huh?” he asks, still laughing.
“Devilish, right?”
“Outrageously so!”
“Good plan, huh?”
“Great plan. Might want to test it again.”
“Please, do.”
And he does, leaning down to reach your lips before pulling up. He has a precise number to follow for his routine, but he’s lost count, too busy staring at your beautiful eyes, and longing for your lips everytime he has to pull away, and his muscles are sore anyway, and he’s tired, and he just wants you close…
You let out a surprised huffing noise when he lets himself fall on top of you, before you both explode with laughter.
“Now, you’re crushing me, lovely!”
He lets out a dramatic grunt, shifting to get more comfortable, resting his cheek on your chest. You merely chuckle in response, holding him close.
“That was a good session.”
He hums in agreement, holding you tight.
“Yeah… I’m very sweaty and very sore. Apparently, it’s a good sign.”
“Undoubtedly.”
“It was fun though. You make these things fun.”
“Yeah, you do too.”
“What time is it? I could easily take a nap like this.”
“No idea. But you can’t fall asleep, you’ve promised me lots of things after the gym!”
“Really? I have no memory of that whatsoever.”
“You’ve promised some coffee…”
“Hmm…”
“Some massage…”
“Ha, did I?”
“You did. And also some sex.”
“Ha, yes,” he looks up at you at that, mischief back on his ridiculously handsome features. “In the shower, I think…”
“Yes, precisely.”
“Well, can’t keep my wife waiting for that.”
“You can’t indeed.”
You’re about to kiss when you hear the door of the gym open, and you turn to find Freddy, Calahan and Patrick staring at you with wide-eyes.
“We were doing push-ups,” you explain with a grin, but even Ben laughs at that.
Freddy puts down his bottle on a bench while you and Ben get back to your feet.
“I swear, if you’ve done anything sexual in this room, I will channel my inner Crow to kill you both.”
But as a response, you merely laugh, wishing for your three colleagues a good training session, while you gather your things and head for home.
Busy schedule ahead, after all…

i just needed ted dressed up as a cowboy for halloween party [with a whip and everything]
do with it whatever you want 🥵
Gonna bump this one because it's Halloween weekend, y'all! I think Ted would have fun with this - and so would you. Teehee. Let's gooo!
---
Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader (f)
Warnings: Fluff, fun + smut!
---
You'd never done a couple's costume before. Your ex-boyfriend never liked Halloween and thought costume parties were lame.
Add it to the one billion reasons why you weren't a fit, because Halloween was your favorite holiday.
So when Ted jumped at the chance for a couple's costume, you were overjoyed.
"What should we go as this year, darlin'?" Ted asked enthusiastically, looking at his phone for ideas.
"How about ketchup and mustard?" he asked, holding his phone to you for two silly bottle-shaped costumes with pointy hats.
You chuckle. "I like that, but I was thinking something fun! Like dress up!"
Ted smiles, the idea of you playing dress up is always sexy to him.
"Oh, how about this?!" you turn your phone to him, showing him a cowboy with chaps and a hat, and a gaudy Gone With the Wind-style dress and bustle.
Ted whistles. "Well, sugar, you've got me beat. If you show up in that, I'll have to lasso ya - literally - back to the bedroom."
You grin and blush.
"If that's what you wanna be, I'll do it." Ted smiles earnestly and you click the order button faster than you thought possible.
...
The following week at Rebecca's big Halloween bash, you're more than excited to put on your new costumes.
Ted emerges from the bedroom in denim, faux leather chaps, cowboy boots, a flannel shirt, and a cowboy hat.
He's got a rope hanging off his belt, and a fake pistol in a holster.
"Howdy, ma'am," he says lowly as he walks over to you, tilting his hat. And oh God the things that did to you.
"H-hi, there cowboy," you murmur, looking up at him as he offers his hand to you. He kisses the top of your hand like a proper gentleman.
"Well aren't you prettier than sunshine breakin' through on a cloudy day," he says with a smile, marveling at you.
The satin dress hangs to the floor, lace draped just right along the hips, the bust pushing your breasts up high on your chest. You've got your hair piled up in a messy but era-appropriate bun, equipped with a big black feather.
"We look like we're doing one of those old-time photo booths," you joke, looking at you next to Ted, who pulls you in by the hips and kisses your jaw and neck.
"Gonna be hard to keep my hands off ya, not gonna lie," he says, his mustache scratching lightly down the skin of your neck and collarbone. Your fingers toy with the rope hanging off his belt.
"Maybe we get to play with this later," you whisper, and he gulps.
"These jeans are awful tight, you better not say things like that, sugar," he jokes with a chuckle.
...
At Rebecca's party, everyone's dressed to the nines. Rebecca is dressed as a Victorian aristocrat, which isn't far off from who she really is, but the pale-white powder and dramatic makeup was something she pulled off for full effect.
Roy and Keeley went as the latest pop star + pro athlete couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Which gave her plenty of reason to wear sequins and Roy to sport a mustache and an American football jersey. Seeing a KC Chiefs jersey made Ted smile.
The boys from the club came as various zombies, with Jamie leading the way as Michael Jackson from "Thriller," complete with a red faux leather suit and black shoes.
It was... a trip.
When Rebecca turned the lights down and the music up, everyone had a ball. Music pumped through the speakers. The spiked punch was flowing with a fog machine.
This was the most kick-ass Halloween party you've ever attended.
A photobooth in the back corner gave you and Ted a reason to get some cute photos together, kissing most of the way through the flashes.
Later in the night while you're dancing with Keeley and Rebecca, you feel Ted approach, tying his rope around your waist.
"What are you..." you ask, and he leans into your ear.
"In case I wanna yank ya closer," he whispers, his lips grazing your ear. "You're makin' me crazy in this get-up."
You blush and feel your body fill with heat, and so you smile. Ted moves closer to dance with you, holding his lasso rope in one hand while the other runs up and down your waist and hips.
"I mean, damn, darlin'," he says again, looking down your very obvious cleavage.
You swipe his red kerchief from his pocket and stuff it down the front of your dress, nestled between your breasts.
"What else can you fit in there," Ted whispers with a low chuckle.
"Wouldn't you like to know, cowboy?"
...
The night drags to a close, plenty danced out, a little buzzed on the spiked punch. Photos will be revealed for what you don't remember tomorrow.
But Ted's hands haven't stopped touching you for the last two hours, pawing at you and dancing behind you, his woodsy cologne sending you in a trance.
"Wanna get outta here, sugar?" Ted asks huskily in your ear, his lips kissing your neck gently. Everyone's dancing or swaying or drinking in the darkness of the room, making it more comfortable to canoodle.
You nod happily.
"Let's go, cowboy."
Once back in the flat, he's pushed you against the door, his hands trailing under your dress, finding the thigh-high fishnets that you added for the costume and it growls against your neck.
"G-goddamn, baby," he murmurs, his greedy hands rubbing up and down your thighs, hips, ass.
His big hand holds a thigh to his side and you can tell he's straining more than usual behind the stiff denim of his jeans.
"Bedroom," you whisper to his lips, and he quickly pulls away, grabbing your hand and leading you through the apartment.
You waste no time: Unzipping the satin dress, letting it pool on the floor, but just as you're about to remove the heels and fishnet stockings...
"C-can you keep those on for me, darlin'?" Ted asks pensively. You smile with a glint in your eye. "Of course I can."
He strips the flannel and denim off, left in an undershirt and boxer briefs, affixed with little cowboys, how appropriate. His hair is mussed as he climbs over you and kisses you, his lips trailing down your neck, collarbone, and chest.
"You're like a piece of cake, just for me," he says, licking and nibbling and tasing you all the way down and back up.
Enough teasing and tickles tonight mean you're ready to go, but Ted moves your panties to the side to tease you with his fingers first, groaning at how good it'll feel.
"C'mon cowboy, show me what you've got," you tease, and Ted growls again, his fingers dancing up your thigh and to your hip. He watches you with a smirk when your mouth drops open and you take a deep breath.
"I'mma bout to show ya the best moves this side of the Mississippi," he jokes, making you smile.
As sexy as it is, sex with Ted is always fun. Full of laughter and whispers and soft caresses.
Your bodies rock together, his face nestled into your neck as he breathes and grunts and your legs affixed to the sides of his hips means he can go as deep as possible.
When he feels your body tense and shudder, he knows, moving his hand between your bodies, his thumb circling your clit.
"Oh, shit!" you cry out, "Just like that!"
He loves it when you direct him, and keeps his dark hazel eyes trained on you while you climax, shaking under his spell.
"There ya go, doll," he whispers. "Make ya feel real good..."
Watching you fall apart means it doesn't take him long to follow -- he just always makes sure you get there first. When he leans down and picks up the pace, your lips against his neck send him falling over with you.
Your sleek, sweaty bodies hold each other as he falls into the bed, and you both smile wide at the ceiling.
"I'd be terrible as a saloon brothel girl," you say in the silence, making Ted chuckle.
"Why's that?"
"Because there's one cowboy I want as my customer," you answer, smiling as you kiss his lips gently. "A certain Mr. Theodore Lasso with his lasso."
Ted laughs and pulls you into his chest, turning out the lamp as you snuggle up to sleep.
---
This was longer than I expected but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween and I love this concept. I know Ted would have a blast too. Thanks for the prompt, friend!

heyy can you do romantic cc!dsmp x figure skater!reader?
plsss i love ice skating!! im gonna interpret this as like, reader loves skating and competes locally so it’s not a famous!reader thing and more about the skating
cws: gn!reader, fluff
Dream
brags about you sooo much
like everyone he knows knows everything about your skating and has seen endless pictures and videos that he takes when he comes to watch you
embarrassing but he’s so proud of you, like he stans you so hard it’s kinda funny
always brings a huge bunch of roses for you when you’re competing so he can present them to you dramatically if you win or make you feel better if you don’t
and ofc he insists on getting you the best skates money can buy and paying your coaching fees so you can get the best person going
he also tries to learn more about it, watching loads of youtube videos and listening in on your talks with your coach so he can understand your passion better and offer advice on your form and stuff during your casual practices
if you’re into skating as a fan too he gets you tickets to watch big skating tournaments / lots of signed memorabilia etc
basically he’ll do anything to support and show interest in your hobby, well almost anything
he refuses to actually skate with you bc he knows how bad you’ll show him up and he’s not about it lol
makes jokes about not wanting to steal your thunder bc obviously he’d be sooo good and that’s why he won’t skate with you
he might secretly get some lessons if you’ve been together a while though, so he can surprise you one day...
Sapnap
can’t understand how elegant you look on the ice, you make it look effortless
like he’s a texas boy so i reckon he’s probably never ice-skated in his life, except the one time you dragged him onto the rink with you
he lasted less than three minutes before calling it and has flat out refused to ever go on again
he DOES love taking you to the skate park tho, and you get into inline skating (bc they’re kinda similar at the end of the day) so you can skate together “on solid ground” as sap puts it
also he can’t get over what you wear for competitions
like he feels kinda conflicted tbh bc obviously you look sexy asl in those skin tight outfits but they’re also just a tiny bit goofy
they remind him just slightly too much of pro-wrestling ??? idk
he’s amazed by you though and his lockscreen is a selfie he took during a competition with him going crazy in the foreground and you doing some insane spin jump in the background
the photo’s kinda blurry and you didn’t actually land that jump but he does not care
you two have a tradition of getting drive through take out on the way back from competitions or difficult practices bc it helps you decompress, and you shit talk your competitors together in the privacy of his car
he also heckles the judges that give you bad scores like he’s at a football game and you’ve had to tell him to stop so he doesn’t get banned
George
he just genuinely really enjoys watching you skate
he’ll sit on his own in the stands for hours just watching you practice, or even just scrolling on his phone, but he likes to be there with you anyway
sometimes he’ll facetime karl or somone and show them what you’re doing and he always gets so smiley
he has a lot of fun coming to watch you compete too and he makes a whole thing of it like he’s going to watch a big sports league final or the olympics or something and you’re his favourite team
like holding his breath when you do difficult jumps and spins he knows you struggle with and jumping up and cheering when you land them
of all of them he’s definitely done the most skating, with you and just in general
he’s still not very good but he can mostly stay on his feet and just laughs when he falls over bc fun > ego every time with georgie
loves just holding your hand while he stumbles around the rink with you or holding your hand over your head while you do a lil spin
he thinks you always look the most beautiful while skating: all giddy and smiley from doing your favourite thing and cheeks flushed from the cold and the exercise
Karl
another one who goes way overboard with the cheering just to be a dork and embarrass you
but also bc he is so genuinely proud of you and how hard you work to be good
he can’t make a lot of your competitions or any practice really bc he’s so busy with his work, but when he can be there he makes up for it with a bunch of flowers and gifts, and so much praise and cuddling
celebrates your wins and feels your losses so sincerely bc your success is his success and your sadness is his sadness
he undoes your laces and takes off your skates for you every time he’s there to do it
and after the stream where he drew on those sneakers you asked him to decorate your practice skates with whatever he liked so he could always be there with you in a way
he got so in his head about doing something incredible and you had to tell him you just wanted cute lil doodles and they’d be perfect bc he drew them
they came out like a graffitied primary school desk but with loads of different colours and little hearts and stick figures of the two of you smooching plus some affirmations about how amazing you are
he was so nervous to show you but you ADORE them and would wear them for competitions if you could

eddie munson ; (college) cheerleader reader headcanons
genre : fluff
pairing : eddie munson x gender neutral reader
disclaimer : none
author's note : request i received from wattpad! when i was 6-11 years old i always wrote college as colledge.. AND NOBODY TOLD ME UNTIL I HAD TO FIND OUT MYSELF.
Tumblr media
⋆ eddie was right by your side when you got accepted to your college cheering program. he was so proud and happy for you, peppering your entire face with kisses and lifting you up in his arms and spinning you around (this man is so dramatic 😭).
⋆ he'd drive you (not like he isn't already driving you to anywhere you want to go) to your cheer pratices and sports games. even though eddie never understood or even liked any sports one bit, he'll come but only watch and support you (we love a supportive boyfriend 💟).
⋆ he would be those obnoxious people in the stands, wolf whistling and shouting lots of "WHOOP WHOOP!" also would be shouting at loud for everyone and their mama to hear, "THAT'S MY GIRL (BOYFRIEND, S/O)!" when you successfully do a flip.
⋆ he'd be that type to wear your college colors on his face like those face paint strokes (even though he doesn't even attend your college as you 😭). he'd also be the type to obnoxiously clap like, he'll be raising his hands up above his head while pacing back and forth. this man would literally do anything to hype you up.
⋆ when you both are in the confines of you or eddie's bedroom, he will literally watch in awe while you do your warmups and stretches. he's mesmerized how flexible your body is and how you can perfectly top that sudden spin with ease. he thinks it's fucking badass.
⋆ he'd totally hype you during your solo pratices by being a fake annoucer, declaring to you and your stuffed animals in the room on your form. "and there goes y/n l/n, doing their signature, perfected something-that-i-have-no-idea-what-it-is-but-god,is-my-lover-sexy!" he'd be also using your pom poms, doing a flamingo stand with his leg and pretending to be your own cheerleader. "you know, these pom poms actually look good on me."
⋆ eddie bought you this really big water bottle, figuring that you'd probably need it since you'll be dehydrated while doing your stunts. he also bought you a big pack of pink, sparkly stickers in which you can litter your water bottle with. if you drank all of the water from your bottle, he'll be rushing to refill it with fresh, cold water.
⋆ he doesn't know much about cheerleading or sports but he knows you love it and seem to be having fun, which is what he wants most from you! in short, eddie will be your number one supporter no matter.

Khushi’s Fashion Makeover
This is my attempt at giving Khushi a reimagined, 2022 makeover, as some of you were curious to see a alternative take.
Khushi was incredibly challenging, compared to Payal. Her fashion is less straightforward and more up to interpretation. Also, being the main character adds another layer of pressure! Idk if I’ll ever get a chance at working for AR but here’s what I came up with:
Tumblr media
So I know this is either a hit or miss but I had 3 factors that I had to try and meet … 1. Colourfulness 2. Mobility/Comfort 3. Quirkiness
Khushi is a person who loves colours, she loves being bright and has a very playful personality. It’s also important to dress her in clothes that visually separate her from other characters as she is the main character…so I got all these outfits from brand called Indya, they do really fun, modern and quirky Indian clothes! I feel this brand was perfect for Khushi!
I tried to stay away from sarees because Khushi prefers dresses and churidaar, for mobility reasons ..she’s always running around, energetic, up to some shenanigan! Sanaya is a petite/ Gamine-like woman (a lot like Audrey Hepburn), so she looks the best in fitted silhouettes. I liked the idea of her in sleeveless dresses, just to give her a more youthful, flirty feel (this is her wardrobe post elopement - kidnapping period …so there’s a sexiness and modernisation to her dressing that didn’t exist previously). Also, I know those sets don’t have dupattas, but I would definitely add them …Khushi wouldn’t feel comfortable without one and I think they would make the outfits more elegant.
I chose some sarees too (not that Khushi needs any help in that department, she’s got amazing taste in sarees!)
But these sarees are for a mature, sexier Khushi who’s settled into her marriage and new lifestyle. So they’re very much on the glamorous, sparklier side (a call back to her ‘chamkili’ self!)
Tumblr media
Now hair!
I actually love Khushi’s long dramatic hair, it’s very iconic and paired with ^^^ outfits, it would look amazing. I’m just not a fan of when it’s pinned from the sides, I feel it looks a bit dated. I much prefer it long, open and dramatic.
Tumblr media
(Pic from Pinterest.)
Alternatively, the curtain bang style she sported in the serial Rangrasiya really highlighted her Gamine features (again, like Audrey Hepburn). I know she had a fringe in the later episodes of IPK but I feel it wasn’t styled as nicely as it was in RR.
Tumblr media
(All images from Pinterest)
I think it would have paired nicely with the fitted, vibrant clothes.
I want to just add an alternative style too…as the above style is a bit unconventional! Khushi looks amazing in Jewelled tones so I could also see her wearing a collection of high-end Anarkalis and elegant suits.
Tumblr media
I don’t know if I completely missed the mark with this one, I certainly won’t be getting that job at AR but again, this was really fun! 🥰
I’m curious to know how would have styled Khushi differently??
Honey!💗✨

Prequel: True Liberation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Series Masterlist || Loki Masterlist || Full Masterlist || Read on AO3
Summary: Five years before the events of Chapter 1, Y/N indulges in her weekly escape from the confines of life, but a few new faces in a dangerous situation serve to change everything she’s ever known.
Notes: I put a heck of a lot of time into this, for a work that has no sexy times in it. Hehehe! Also, it's very much giving a bit of old Wattpad vibes in my opinion, but I still like how it came out! I hope you do, too!!!
This piece features some German, which is yet another language I don't speak, so feel free to correct any mistakes I may have made.
Content Warnings: Graphic descriptions of violence and death, discussions of death at length, shootout scenario, cussing that would make a sailor blush, and brief religious imagery (again, just a sentence, but I wanted to give a warning, anyways)
Word Count: 4,776

I hated my life. I had a boring job in a boring town, contributing absolutely nothing to a boring society. I had no ambitions, no goals, and nothing to look forward to. I just dragged myself through each day like a mindless drone. Then, I just went to the home that I still shared with my parents, laid my head down on my rock-hard pillow, and fought for sleep on my lumpy mattress every night just to do the whole thing all over again the next day.
In short, life sucked.
However, there was one night a week where I finally got a break from all the excruciating monotony. Friday nights, I went to a small nightclub in my town to drink and dance the week’s hardships away. At first, I thought it was foolish to get excited over some nightclub, but I realized that just the mere thought of doing something exciting and fun pulled me through the week. It kept me sane.
So, I made it an event. I dressed to the nines in the tightest dress I could find, found myself the pair of high heels most likely to break my ankles, and bought the shiniest jewelry I could afford.
It was a long process to get dressed each week, but Friday nights filled me with the motivation to do it, because I knew that at The Lively Vixen, I could taste what it meant to feel alive.
────༺ ♰ ༻────
The bass emanating from the DJ’s booth seemed to rattle the very foundation of the building. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, allowing its vibrations to move through my body and fill me with life. I’m here! I made it here another week.
I opened my eyes and made my way into the neon scenery. Bodies collided on the dance floor in a large vulgar mosh pit under the strobe of vibrant lighting, and the smell of alcohol tainted the air, tempting some dancers to step away from the party for a quick drink.
I headed straight to the bar, leaning against the table as I locked eyes with one of the bartenders. She was a petite blonde about my age with bright green doe eyes and a round face that sported a light dusting of freckles over the pale skin of her cheeks and nose. She was gorgeous. Unfortunately for her, that kind of beauty never came without consequence in her field of work.
“Don’t worry about me.” She’d said on one of my first visits to The Lively Vixen. “The creepiest men give the best tips.” Then, she winked and swayed her hips as she crossed the bar to take an order from a man who’d been staring at her the whole time.
As she neared where I was standing, I cocked my head with a playful smirk. “Hey, Jill! How’ve you been?”
“Absolutely terrible.” She remarked with a smile that convinced me otherwise, “You know the party doesn’t start ‘til you get here.”
“Well, consider the party here.” I opened my arms in a dramatic gesture as Jill clapped her hands.
“You never fail to be the highlight of my work week.” She giggled. If only she knew that she was part of mine, too. “Should I put you down for your usual?”
I place a hand over my heart in another dramatic gesture. “You know me so well. I would love that.”
“Alright! I’ll have your drink to you in just a moment.” Jill trotted to the back of the bar to prep it as the DJ switched songs across the room.
I perched myself on the stool right next to me and turned to survey the crowd as the mass of bodies jumped and clashed to Rihanna’s Please Don’t Stop the Music.
A dark shadow grabbed my attention as it flashed in the corner of my eye. I turned to look as four unfamiliar figures walked in the door.
A woman with soft features and hair that cascaded over her shoulders in honey brown waves had an arm locked in that of a tall muscular blond man with hair that stopped just past his shoulders and a beard that matched in hue.
Next came a slender woman about as tall as the blond, with raven hair that fell just above her mid-back. Her angular face wore an expression as dark as her eye makeup. I shuddered at the sight of her, a chill crawling up my spine.
The last person to walk in was a man about the same height, but he looked like he could be the raven-haired woman’s male counterpart. His own dark locks fell in a similar fashion to the blond’s, but they were slicked back in a more clean style and pulled away from his solemn expression. There was something intimidating about him… but alluring, as well.
Despite being in a nightclub, the group seemed to be dressed for a business negotiation. I assumed they must have been rich, but wondered what they could possibly be doing in a small town like mine. Every week I went to The Lively Vixen, I could recognize almost every face on the dance floor. I knew for a fact I never saw this group before. Why would they want to come here of all places?
As the four entered the club, walking in the direction of the VIP booths on the other side, the raven haired-man was the only one to glance in my direction as they passed me. Time itself seemed to slow down as we locked eyes.
I wanna take you away Let's escape into the music
Long after he looked away, I watched the group cross the club. I had to force my eyes away from them as one of the bouncers lifted a velvet rope and let them into one of the booths.
The sound of Jill shouting my name over the music made me jump. “Your drink.” She motioned to the glass she’d just set on the counter in front of me.
“Thank you!” I grabbed the glass and began to sip on it as Jill glanced at the VIP booths.
“Great,” She remarked, “another bunch of rich weirdos.”
“They’re not the only ones?” I asked as I risked another glance at the booth.
“Nope!” Jill patted the countertop. Any sound her hand made against the wood was muted by the blaring music. “Four guys walked in with these boujee hoes practically kissing the ground they walked on just before you got here. Those women are just trying to get that bank, if you ask me. They’ll probably suck their guys off for a few grand later.”
“Jill!” I snorted at her bluntness.
“What? It’s gotta be true!” She waved her hand in a playfully dismissive gesture. “But, if I were them, I’d totally do the same. The whole bartender gig doesn’t pay much on bad tip days.”
“Yeah, well, maybe I’d skip the part that involves coming out to a club in the middle of nowhere.” I added as I took a sip of my drink.
“I’m with you.” Jill agreed. “Now, you go enjoy your night. Don’t let me keep you stuck here. Just come back once you get thirsty, okay?”
“Of course! And I’ll ask for you specifically.” I slid off of my stool and smiled, lifting my drink off the counter. “Take care!”
“I’m trying.” Jill playfully waved and left to go take more orders.
Normally, I’d head straight to the dance floor and shamelessly flirt with a new man or woman of my choosing before dirty dancing with them and letting them buy me a new drink, but tonight was different.
I couldn’t get the image of the four people in that VIP section out of my head. Specifically, I couldn’t stop thinking of that raven-haired man. I was frozen, just a few paces from the bar. Why are they here? What do all these rich people want?
I tried to refocus on the loud thrumming music and let it drown out my thoughts as I willed my feet to shuffle towards the dance floor.
Baby, are you ready 'cause it's gettin' cold Don't you feel the passion ready to explode?
Bang! Bang! Bang! I jumped as the jarring sound drowned out Rihanna’s voice. I hadn’t even made it to the edge of the dance floor when it sounded.
The mass of bodies in front of me froze as screams rang out across the room. My blood ran cold. This can’t be happening…
Bang! Bangbangbang! Bangbang! When the gunfire increased in frequency, the dance floor suddenly became a mob as everyone made a mad dash to the door.
I turned to run with them, but tripped over my own high heel and fell to my knees. My drink crashed onto the floor, the glass shattering.
The mob was coming too fast, and there was already a crowd forming at the door, so I crawled behind the bar as quickly as possible to avoid getting trampled and hide from whoever was firing their guns.
“Shitshitshitshitshit!” I hissed as I moved across the floor.
Once I got behind the bar, I quickly abandoned my heels in preparation for a quick escape. I peeked my head out to check the door, but a bullet narrowly missing my face startled me into reeling backwards and colliding with a body that was hunched behind the bar with me.
I gasped as I turned around to see the raven-haired man who seemed equally shocked. “What the hell are you still doing here?” He hissed.
“Trying not to get killed.” I scowled. “I could ask you the same thing.”
He raised his eyebrows at my response. “I would imagine my own reasoning was obvious. Unless you were watching me merely for my good looks.”
I instantly felt my cheeks burn as I muttered. “Well, you don’t have to be a douche about it.”
We jumped as the bullets grew closer to where we were crouched. The man quickly took to his feet and fired his own gun at the origin of the sounds before crouching back down to avoid another spray of bullets.
My eyes widened at the sight of his weapon. “You’re a part of this?”
“No, I’m merely a participating onlooker.” His voice oozed with a sarcasm that almost made me want to slap him across his gorgeous face.
Would it hurt if I slapped someone with sharp cheekbones? I shook the thought out of my head. Get it together! You’re in a life or death situation right now!
“We can’t stay here.” Before I could process what he was saying to me, he grabbed my arm and hoisted me to my feet before dragging me into the kitchen door by the bar. “Trust me if you value your life.”
“I don’t seem to have much of a choice in the matter-” I stumbled, making my attempt at sarcasm more pathetic than anything else.
The man’s grip on my arm tightened to the point where I was sure my skin would bruise. “Do find your footing, would you?”
I glared daggers at him before he dragged me around the kitchen island, dodging the bartenders who were ducking for cover. I scanned the room for Jill, but I couldn’t find her. Oh, god! I hope she’s okay…
Just then, a man wearing a black suit with red accents ran in with a pistol aimed in our direction. The raven-haired man simply pulled me behind him and fired his own gun. I looked over his shoulder just in time to see the man fall dead with a bullet wound in his head. A wave of nausea crashed into me as blood slowly oozed out of the wound, forming a puddle underneath his body.
The bartenders on the floor let out a unanimous blood-curdling scream at the sight of the carnage as the raven-haired man dragged me out of the kitchen and back into the club. Despite the DJ being gone, and the entire club being empty, the whole venue was still thrumming with loud music.
“Can you tell me what the hell is going on?!” I shouted at the raven-haired man before he shot and killed another man in a red and black suit.
He just raised his free hand to his ear and muttered something barely intelligible under the music. “H…any…ft?” After a heartbeat of silence he growled “Damnit!” before dragging me to crouch behind the DJ booth, bullets whizzing by us all the way.
“If you’re not gonna tell me what’s going on, can you at least tell me who you are?” I shouted over the music.
He cocked his gun, having just reloaded it, and winked. “I’m your savior, of course.”
I scowled. “Right… AH-”
I was dragged onto my feet by a large hand that gripped my hair. All I saw was a long black coat with a little flash of fur as a new mysterious figure held me in a chokehold. The raven-haired man took to his feet and aimed his gun at the both of us, clearly struggling to get a clear shot at the man behind me. The DJ booth finally stopped playing music–possibly due to reaching the end of its predetermined playlist–so I could hear their voices clearly.
“Let my men go or I kill her.” The figure’s voice sounded right by my ear with small traces of a German accent before I felt something cold and metal placed against my temple. I recognized it as the barrel of a gun before I even heard him cock it. My blood ran cold. Is this how I’m going to die?
The raven-haired man furrowed his brow as his gun was still trained on us. “Leave her out of this, Zemo. She’s merely a civilian. She doesn’t associate with us.”
“But you Sons of Odin love keeping people who aren’t in our business safe, don’t you?” Zemo seemed to tighten his grip on me. It was a wonder I could still breathe, but it did take some effort.
“Some of us care not for that little code.” The raven-haired man scowled.
What the fuck?! I wanted to scream. Are you trying to save me or not?
I reached my hands up to try to pry his arm from my neck, but it was futile. I had no experience in fighting like this. I felt that Zemo was inherently stronger than me.
“Let… me… go… asshole…” I gasped, desperate for a way out.
“Oooh, this one’s a bit… how do Americans say… spunky.” Zemo chuckled, amused by my struggle.
“Fuck you!” I spat before bringing my foot up behind me as sharply as possible.
“Umph!” Zemo doubled over as the back of my foot connected with his crotch.
I grabbed the hand that held his gun and pulled it to my mouth to bite it. Zemo was wearing gloves, so I had to bite down considerably hard before he felt the pain and dropped the weapon. I wrenched myself free from his grip before lunging at the gun on the floor. I quickly spun back around, aiming it at Zemo with shaking hands.
“Easy, prinzessin.” Zemo looked up at me with shock, his brown hair a little messy on top of his head. His voice, however, was still smooth and condescending, almost as if he was convincing me to sleep with him rather than convincing me not to shoot him. “It wasn’t personal. My fight is with the man behind you.”
“Shut up!” My voice wavered as my finger curled around the trigger. I couldn’t imagine actually killing Zemo. I didn’t even know who he was. Besides, It wasn’t like I’d taken a life before. I imagined I would break down shortly after firing at him, before spending the rest of my life in therapy. He did just threaten to kill me, though. Maybe it would have been well deserved.
“Stop.” The raven-haired man wrapped one arm around my shoulders, moving my aim down to the floor with the other. “Killing this man would not be a very good idea. Let me handle this.”
“Yes, prinzessin.” Zemo looked back at me smugly. “Leave this to the men, eh?”
My blood boiled. What the fuck did he just say to me? I couldn’t believe the audacity of this man. First, he tried to kill me, then he has the balls to make that sexist remark after literally being held at gunpoint? Oh, no. I was not going to let that fly.
Bam! Before thinking my actions through, I sent a bullet straight into his shin.
“AH!” Zemo fell over, clutching the bullet wound. “Sohn einer Hündin! Ah- Verdammt! Oh, Sheisse!” His face scrunched with pain as his brow began to mist with sweat.
Once I was frozen with the realization that I’d just shot someone, the raven-haired man quickly snatched Zemo’s gun from my hands, clearly amused by his suffering.
“I believe we should get going.” He grabbed my arm again and guided me towards the back exit.
“I won’t forget this, Odinson!” Zemo spat as we left.
Once we stepped outside, the chill of the night air made me shiver. There were no more neon lights. Just the stars sprinkled around the full moon in the night sky.
The raven-haired man noticed I was cold and removed his suit jacket, revealing the tight dress shirt underneath that left nothing of his upper body to the imagination. He threw it over my shoulders. “There you go.”
“Thank you.” I breathed.
Suddenly, the darkness was filled with flashing blue and red lights as sirens broke the silence. He grabbed my arm and led me into the closest tree line. “We can’t stay here. Let’s go now.” He hissed.
────༺ ♰ ༻────
Finally safe from the heat of the cops, we walked along the sidewalk, the raven-haired man insisting on taking me home. The shock of me firing a gun for the first time eased, but hadn’t faded.
“Do you think he’ll recover from that?” I shuddered.
“Zemo? Yes, he’ll be fine.” The man waved his hand dismissively. “Unfortunately.”
I watched as my dirtied bare feet traversed the cold sidewalk. “I have so many questions.”
The man stopped beside me and softly coaxed my head up to face him. “Well, I do have some time before I must return to my associates. So, ask away. I’ll answer whatever I can for you.”
I took a deep breath and started. “Who are you?”
“Well, I am-” He started before I cut him off.
“And don’t say you’re my ‘savior’.” I glared at him. “What is your name?”
He chuckled, thoughtfully rubbing his chin before responding. “I’m Loki. Loki Odinson.”
“Loki…” I softly tested his name on my tongue. It was a beautiful name, unlike anything I’d heard before. “Okay… Loki… What just happened?”
“That, my dear, is a long story.” He started, extending his arm to me. “Allow me to explain.” I took his arm in mine and we began walking along the sidewalk again. “My father, Odin, rules over one of the grandest mafia schemes in your realm.”
“My… realm?” I was nothing short of confused.
“Midgard.” He explained, “The realm of the human race.”
“You speak as if you’re not human.” I snorted.
“That would be because I’m not.” He stated as if he was speaking of the weather and not confirming the existence of otherworldly beings.
Normally, I’d have thought this guy was a loon, but that night was so eventful, I was too tired to be skeptical. “So, what are you?”
“I am a god.” Where I once was too tired to be skeptical, I had the energy to laugh. “What’s so funny?”
“You’re a god?” I wiped tears from my eyes. “Really?”
“Yes, I am.” With a wave of his free hand, he conjured a small firework show and held it out to me. “I am the god of mischief, and I specialize in illusions.”
My jaw went slack and my feet stopped working. “W- wow… That’s incredible.”
Loki closed his hand and gave my arm a light tug. “Do keep walking. I’d prefer to get you home sooner rather than later.”
We kept walking and I kept the questions flowing. “If you know magic, then why didn’t you just kill all those guys with your powers?”
“That would have been simpler, wouldn’t it?” He smirked. “Unfortunately, mankind has yet to accept the existence of beings of my caliber. Me using my powers… well, it would have caused a scene, to say the least. We can’t work if we’re attracting too much attention.”
“Understood.” My brain was creating questions faster than I could ask them. “So, you’re a god and you’re in the mafia… Those people you came into the club with, are they also part of the mafia?”
“Yes. Those are my sister, brother, and brother’s lover, to be exact.” I shuddered when I remembered the stoic raven-haired woman. That was his sister.
“And where does that leave Zemo?”
“He’s part of our rival organization, HYDRA.”
“HYDRA…” I saw my house slowly coming into view. “So, the shootout started because you two are enemies? Did they step onto your territory, or steal from you? …Or something like that?”
“Now, you’re overthinking it.” Loki softly chuckled. “Our conflict tonight began simply because they fired first.” I remembered how quickly everyone on the dance floor froze after the initial blast. Why would the members of HYDRA just start shooting like that?
“Mmhmm…” I took a moment to think over everything that he was telling me. “One more question: Why are you telling me all of this? Aren’t mafia systems usually secret?” We made it to the front steps of my house and sat beside each other on the bottom step.
“Well, first of all, that was two questions.” I sent an annoyed glance at him before he continued. “Second, I tell you this because I have a proposal for you.”
I gulped. “Is it one where I get to stay alive?”
Loki laughed aloud in a warm sound. “Of course! I didn’t save you to kill you. Counterproductivity is not in my nature. No, rather, I’m impressed by you.”
“You’re impressed by me?” I raised my eyebrows. “Trust me, I’m not that impressive.”
“Or so you were led to believe.” I raised my eyebrows at him, prompting him to continue. “The workings of your realm can be oh so tiresome, wearing down its strongest warriors into mindless sheep who are fooled by a false sense of independence. But, tonight… Tonight, I caught a glimpse of the real you, unburdened by this society. You fought a man who wronged you, and you nearly killed him. That was impressive.”
I cringed. “I think that’s also technically illegal.”
“Forget the legalities!” Loki rested a hand on my shoulder. “You have potential. Besides, what’s left for you here?” I thought about that. What was left for me here? I had a boring job in a boring town. I had no ambitions, no goals, and nothing to look forward to. I just dragged myself through each day like a mindless drone. Like a mindless sheep. I was in an endless cycle of uselessness.
When I didn’t answer immediately, Loki continued, “I’ll tell you what waits for you if you come with me.” He stood from the step and turned to face me. “You can have an escape from the illusion of choice, in favor of a life of true liberation. Know what independence truly looks like. Live a life where you’re not crushed under the fists of those who decide your worth.”
The sun began to rise behind him, the sky creating a hazy outline around his tall figure. I felt like a disciple who looked up to her god with admiration and awe. I wondered for a moment whether he’d bless me or cast his judgment on me. All I knew was that I trusted him with my life once, and now I felt I could do it again, and again, and again for as long as we both lived. I would do whatever he wanted me to. I trusted him fully and completely.
“Loki…” I began as a black limo pulled up on the street behind him. “What are you asking of me?”
The back window of the limo wound down to reveal the blond man from earlier. “Brother!” He shouted. “Make haste! Father waits for us.”
Loki didn’t even pay attention to the shouting blond. He just reached his hand out for me. “Join me. Shed the weight of your mundane life and join me. Feel the relief of true liberation. Join me and the Sons of Odin. Let me take you away.”
A heavy silence fell between us. My answer here would be my defining moment. Was I willing to cast everything I ever knew aside and start over with this man I just met? Then again, what did I have to cast aside in the first place?
I slid my hand into his and slowly rose to my feet, breathlessly answering, “Take me away, Loki.”
────༺ ♰ ༻────
Of course, I didn’t immediately leave with Loki at that moment. My parents were expecting me home. I explained to him that I needed to at least give them some excuse as to why I’d be suddenly moving out of the house. I gave him back his suit jacket and warmly smiled, thanking him for the opportunity before rushing into the house and packing my things. I didn’t have a lot to my name, so I was able to get by with two large suitcases.
When my parents inevitably confronted me, I’d already had my story straight. While I was out, a traveling modeling agent found me and offered me a full-time job in New York. They were extremely happy for me, we shared hugs, and they told me to make sure to reach out every so often.
That night, Loki returned to pick me up and take me to my new life. We left for New York City together and he helped me settle into my new life. He had Natasha, a former spy from Russia who turned to the Sons of Odin for a better life, teach me how to fight. He introduced me to his sister, Hela, the boss of the Death District of the Sons of Odin, and his brother, Thor, the boss of the Thunder District.
He even showed me his large penthouse. As it would turn out, he set aside a room for me down the hall from his. He apologized for the arrangement, saying it was temporary until he could find me my own space to live. I didn’t care. I was overjoyed that I’d be able to live with the man who came to The Lively Vixen and saved me.
I couldn’t tell whether Loki saved me from my life or myself that night. All I knew was that he’d breathed life into my walking corpse. He’d spared me from the mundane and I would be eternally grateful. He was my hero. My savior. My god of mischief.
It was six months into my training that I discovered my feelings for him didn’t stop at awe and admiration. I had fallen in love with him, and those feelings only grew each day I spent with him. It wasn’t until my ninth month with the Sons of Odin that I confessed my feelings to him, and surprisingly, he reciprocated, and even confessed that he was never looking for other living arrangements for me. So, I moved up the hall and we spent our first night together.
────༺ ♰ ༻────
“You look absolutely ravishing, my darling.” Loki’s eyes sparkled as we laid in bed together, facing each other.
“And you are such a charmer, my god.” I purred.
A growl rumbled from the back of his throat. “Oh, how I love when you call me that. It sets my very soul aflame.”
“Then I’ll be sure to use every breath I have left in my lungs to call you all the things you like.” I reached out to cup his cheek in my hand. “As long as you promise to call me yours.”
Loki and I leaned closer to each other until we were just a breath apart. “I promise.” He breathed before wrapping me in his strong arms and pulling me into a deep kiss. I let myself melt into him and we stayed in each other’s embrace until we drifted off to sleep.

How did you get into wrestling? And what made you love it so much? I also really enjoy your blog you make wrestling fandom more fun and less stressful than most in online spaces 💕
thank you :)
i got into wrestling via my bf - when we started dating aew didn't exist yet, but when i was at his house sometimes he would put wwe on in the background so i knew he was a fan. the first time i was actually INTERESTED by wrestling is after aew started and he was watching fytre fest - when the best friends came to the ring i thought it was soooo funny that their mom drove them in her minivan. i also remember a cracker barrel sponsored hardcore match that i thought was really fun bc they used the barrels. from that my bf basically figured out i was interested by funny wrestling so he showed me orange cassidy vs gentleman jervis and i loved it... then i started watching more orange cassidy clips, and more, and more.... and the rest is history
i think i love wrestling because it's like the intersection of anime, soap opera, sports, live theatre and, let's be honest, gossip/drama rags... everything is soooo dramatic and life or death and every emotion is heightened... there's tons of betrayals and reunions.... everything is so hypermasculine it tips over to being homoerotic... and ofc the sexy people writhing and bleeding :)

today's mood: a mess of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you. demisexual/demiromantic diaries
i've heard the best way to figure out your sexuality and stuff is to just ask yourself what you want in life. and honestly, for me, that's more tied to my neurobiology than anything else and I finally, thank God, think I've got that figured out to a manageable point. and i hear stories of people who've figured out from the youngest age what they want. i'll never be with a man or i'll never be with a woman or i'll never be with anyone. but i thought i was allo for the longest time. and there are people i'm attracted to, yes, i'm attracted to a range of people and a range of genders but more and more as I'm older this attraction never gets a chance to grow and develop into something actually tangible. I remember when it didn't have to grow. when I was so new to the world and unharmed by it that I thought anyone at all could understand me and I'd never feel scared around them. and I remember the attraction when it'd come it'd come fast and I'd be head over heels and get flustered and it would be awkward and it would be fun. now all i feel is fondness and i just long for that soul connection.
because when i was young it would go from zero to however close to a hundred it would get, i guess, and i'd weigh it up, how much do i like them, would it really last long enough to act on it or will i tire of this person? and most the time it's be okay they're cool for the first little while but. it's not enough to keep me intrigued, if i think about it, and i would move on, move schools or get a new crush, no regrets. but then one time it just went to a hundred and kept going and it was like the song everything has changed, it felt like that every single day. and sometimes i'd notice someone else and like them for a bit too, but those secondary crushes would whittle away quite quickly and then they'd eventually stop coming. in the same way at least. i got lured in by cuteness and kindness and a relatability that hit something I didn't even know existed then, I just remember at 12 thinking 'i could marry this person'. that was over a decade ago now. then I learned you can care about someone so much that your chest hurts and you can read all their feelings and feel them as your own. I've done that subsequently with other people too, but it's always been platonic. ever since. and i ran from those feelings like the little escapist I am. I was always good at running. maybe you can get jinxed by the sport you train in and the double meanings of words.
and it's been interesting to watch it play out over the last decade or so, how little 12yo me was onto something. I didn't even know what I wanted to do with my life. didn't know what urban design was or how it could fill the longing to have an impact with my life while be creative and use things like science and communication as well. didn't know how when I did i'd always have this longing in the back of my mind, I could see myself with another urban designer, who went into it for the same reasons I did, saving the world together through streetscapes is the most romantic and sexy thing i can think of. i didn't know that i'd see this embodied right in front of me, we'd grow up forever rooted in the cultish community of our high school days even when both of us always wanted more in life and went wherever we would get it. but at the time I was so far in denial because that never happens does it?? i'd tell myself not to be so dramatic about a high school crush. and i'm not sure if i'll regret it forever or I'll thank my own stupidity for being the thing that prevented building something that would end up blowing up in both of our faces.
and i have liked other people since. it's strange and kind of sad to think about, how i'll have a lovely friend and be like i could see us go through all of these stages slowly, fall in love slowly, get to know each other and care even more and maybe i'll give it a go. if it weren't for the whole urban design thing maybe i would've by now. if i didn't feel like I have this divine purpose that everything else is secondary to; I can do it, I know I can, maybe I will. but when I do I'll always remember how it felt. what i can't describe as anything else but starlight flowing through my veins and enabling me to do things that I generally can't; executive function and packed schedules and not being too anxious to sleep all the time and derailing it, I was still packed with nerves but I felt like I was floating and I could genuinely do anything I put my mind too on top of everything else I was told and it wasn't an irritable, desperate kind of hypomania (that i've since experienced) either; i genuinely felt so light apart from the crushing moments that felt like rejection but even then--there as this amazing creative mind right next to me and it kind of had me just get going, get creating, go for runs to burn off the rest of the energy and I did that yesterday for the first time since because I was remembering, I was hoping for this again. and i have a life i've built with friends around me I have a persona for but every time I travel alone to a new city I think of this.
and i wonder, is it ever fair to invite anyone new into this? at least, until I get some sort of closure, some sort of answer to this energy I've felt for over a decade and the vibes i can read from something as simple as the smallest snippet of behaviour on social media? I can fall in love again, I know I can, I know it'll be deliberate and adult but it does feel nice, I've felt the start of it with someone new but it's slow this time, and is it even worth trying it when I remember all this and I will every time I design a city with love for its people and land that bring a creativity to solve their problems; I'm not kidding when I say it'll impact how productive I can be when I've felt this lasting high before and I've dosed myself up on more dexamphetamine than my body can handle for long. i've met all the criteria for hypomania. and nothing compares to when my brain just goes stupid over some guy who can draw. all of a sudden i can face anything and there isn't a problem I can't solve. and now i don't know what attraction is aside from that. It can come, I know it can, but it's high time I also stop running. take a chance on something I had long told myself religious trauma and forced academic competition had taken away from me. because i'm okay if it doesn't work out, but having just half of this energy, feeling someone else's energy so strongly--it's the curiosity, almost, that kills me more than anything else. the unexpressed love. i tell myself that when I get it out I'll be free to love someone else but I think it's self-regenerating, every time i do something that slightly reminds me. my heart is big enough for more. but maybe it's more effective if I let it channel what it's wanted to do since I was 12?

Day Twenty Four of Positivity (2024)
@eckspress tagged me in two about me surveys and I decided I would do those today.
Last song: America’s Sweet Heart by Elle King. It’s from Ginny and Georgia. I fell in love with the song and the show.
Last show: Ginny and Georgia. I’ve been rewatching Shameless. How I Met Your Father season two came out. And I found a trashy dating show called Sexy Beasts and it’s amazing.
Last movie: Black Panther 2 in theatres.
Currently watching: Shameless. I’ve only seen the newer seasons once.
Currently reading: I meant to start the Game of Throne books… but… I suck at reading lately.
Current obsession: Pokémon Go. NBA. I’ve been writing more lately.
Are you named after anyone?: I share a middle name, Lee, with my paternal grandmother. Wyatt comes from the cowboy. Because they randomly happened.
When was the last time you cried?: I was leaving NJ after spending a few days with Alexis. I’m the emotional one and I hate leaving her. So I cried saying goodbye and cried dramatically to some songs on the drive home. 😂
Do you have kids?: I do not. Maybe one day. I do have many squishables to care for.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?: Maybe so.
What’s the first thing you notice about people?: Usually faces. How tall they are. What they wear. Whatever draws me in. I’m nosey as hell and just be looking. I love a good butt.
What’s your eye color?: Hazel!
Scary movies or happy endings?: Scary movies. I like things that freak me out or get me thinking. Especially the psychological thrills.
Any special talents?: I don’t have many. I’m good at a lot of things, great at little.
Where were you born?: Charlevoix, MI.
What are your hobbies?: Candy Crush. Sports betting. Obsessing with whatever gets my interest any given day.
Have you any pets?: None of my own. My cousin I live with has a dog named Phoebe and I love her. Back home my mom had a dog named Madonna.
What sports do you play/have you played?: I’ve played basketball a little in high school and for fun. I played little league baseball. Track and Field. Cross County. A lot of beach volleyball. I enjoy bowling. I would say I’m sporty.
How tall are you?: Arguably I’m around 5’9”
Favourite subject in school?: English. Anything where I could write a paper really. I hated tests. Gym class was always fun.
Dream job?: I’d want to be part of a scouting department for a basketball team. I’d get to travel. Watch all the games. Use my brain to take notes.
Now that I’ve done this. I wanna tag everyone to do this. Or just read it. I hope something positive happens with you soon.

From The Above Messages Try to Work Out Some Messages for Reversed
Now explore the personality of the Queen of Wands below. If she has turned up in your reading it means her energies have special meaning for you at this time.
You must ask yourself:  Who is she?  Who does she remind me of?  Is she having a positive or negative influence in my life?  How can I embrace or avoid her energy?  What is she trying to tell me?  Is this how I am behaving?  Is this how others perceive me?  Do I like her or not? Do I want to be more like her? How can I be more like her, If she is not a person then what is her energy trying to tell me? How would this Queen handle my situation? Which part of this Queen am I trying to deny?
PERSONALITY PROFILE
The Queen of Wands combines the inward focus of a Queen with the positive and dynamic energy of her Suit Element, Fire.
Sitting on her throne adorned with carvings of sunflowers and lions, the Queen of Wands sits upright with shoulders squared. She is dressed in a brilliant yellow gown with a long white cloak draped elegantly around her shoulders. Her yellow gown symbolises her vibrant warm personality and the white cloak her pure intent.  Her crown rests gloriously on her auburn hair. She holds her wand in one hand and a sunflower in the other.  The sunflower represents her naturally sunny outlook and disposition and along with the lions, which form the armrests of her throne, connect her to the Fire sign of Leo if found with the Strength and Sun card of the Major Arcana.  However, independently she may represent any of the Fire signs when she appears in a reading.
Leaves burst forth in growth from both the Wand she holds and from her Crown suggesting that this Queen is full of life and energy. The sleek black cat sitting at her feet represents her independent and somewhat wild and untamed nature.  The cat also symbolises her magical and intuitive abilities which she naturally uses to her advantage. The Queen of Wands looks out and away to her left as if observing something of interest.
If we let our mind and imagination enter this card we can step into her world and get a closer look at what is going on.  If I put myself standing to the left or right of this Queen, and follow her line of vision I believe she might be waiting for the Jousting Tournament to start.  All the Knights will be vying for her favour and seek to be her champion.  However, as she enjoys the sport of it all and the feisty beasts the Knight’s ride, her desire is for the best man to win.  Healthy competition and the sense of excitement and anticipation is what draws her to this tournament.  As Queen of the land, one of her roles will be to start the games.  She may stand tall from her throne and in a strong, bold and authoritative voice drop a silk cloth and declare “Let the Games Begin” . The accompanying roar of the crowd who have joined her for the festival is almost deafening.
The Queen of Wands is strong, bold, courageous and passionate. She is an independent, enterprising woman who is ready to take on whatever life throws at her. She is energetic, vivacious and high-spirited.  Although she can seem authoritative and overwhelming at times, she is a joy to have around and breathes life and enthusiasm into all those she interacts with.  Capable and competent she sets high standards for herself and those around her.  She possesses a strong belief in herself and is fiercely protective of her domain and position. She is the archetypal popular school cheerleader who everyone wants to be friends with.  This lady is an extrovert and likes to be kept busy.  She is cheerful, upbeat and a confirmed optimist.  The Queen of Wands loves to be in the thick of things and never stands on the side-line.  Full of drama, she enjoys the limelight and being centre stage.
This Queen of Wands is a whirlwind of efficiency.  A brilliant manager and organiser, she is comparable to the modern-day Event Manager overseeing large functions and occasions with ease, style and panache. She is a wonderful help to have around when you need something done.  However, being a natural-born leader, she likes to control and unfortunately has a habit of taking over anything she gets involved in.  She is always on the look-out for where her natural talents may be required and in her enthusiasm and desire to help can sometimes be found forcing her help on those around her even when it hasn’t been asked for. All said and done in her upright state she has a very good heart and her intentions are always honest and wholesome.
The Queen acts upon her feelings and uses her inner strength to reach her goals. In fact she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.  She has no time for those who mope around and procrastinate.  The Queen of Wands views problems as challenges and is very resourceful. You will find her an active member of many clubs and organisations and is always rushing here and there getting things done.
She is radiant, has boundless energy, is physically fit and more than likely has a love of competitive sport. She has a fiery feisty nature and when aggravated will turn from the sleek feline of her card into the ferocious Lioness of her associated Fire sign Leo.  Like a fearless and protective lioness she will defend her cubs with all her might if threatened.  Assertive and righteous she will stand up for what she believes in and will defend those who cannot or will not defend themselves.  She is to be found organising and leading marches against unjust government policies, demonstrating at student rallies and campaigning for human and animal rights.   If this Queen appears in your life during times of trouble or strife when all around have retreated or stepped away, then rest assured you have a very powerful ally on your side.  A noble ally, who will fight your corner even when you no longer have the will or energy to go on.  Indeed this Queen is a force to behold when her fiery side appears.  However being a natural Wand, she thrives on excitement and drama so she does love a good fight even if it has absolutely nothing to do with her.
In the Queen of Wands we can often find the Witch as she sits with her Familiar (the black cat).  She can be very intuitive and blessed with psychic abilities, especially clairvoyance.  She is very in-tune with her surroundings and enjoys contact with the natural kingdom.
In relationships, this Queen values her freedom and if married will certainly have an independent life and friends apart from her husband.  The Queen of Wands is attractive, charming, magnetic and fabulously sexy.  She walks tall and confident and strikes a powerful presence at social gatherings and parties.  Heads turn when this woman walks into a room and she knows it.  She likes to play the field and will not let herself get tied down by any man regardless of how good a catch he may be.  She will never be short of ardent admirers or a date for a party should she need one, but will prove frustratingly elusive if any of them try to possess her or claim exclusive ownership.
Not one for sulking or stony silences, her relationships will be open and honest.  Any problems will be faced head on and thrown on the table to be sorted.  This assertive and direct manner within a relationship may cause fiery rows and heated discussions at times. She needs passion and drama in her relationship in order to keep her positive energy flowing. Indeed she almost welcomes a show down or two and can be guilty of deliberately stirring things up if life appears to get too dull or boring.  Plenty of Fireworks will be evident in her relationships, but if her partner is a match, then this will be a dynamic outgoing and active couple with a wonderful healthy sex life.  This couple will be the envy of many.
Ambitious and determined, the Queen of Wands will encourage growth and self-development within her partner and will drive him to be the very best he can.  She will be proud of his success as long as she is enjoying her own success.  This Queen is fiercely competitive in all aspects of her life and relationships are no exception.  She can however describe the Leo relationship dilemma of career success at the cost of relationship or relationship success at the cost of career.
If in business The Queen of Wands is tireless and fearless.  She is enterprising and innovative and an exciting visionary. She prefers to lead and not follow so this means she does need to be the boss.  .With her outstanding leadership abilities the Queen of Wands can run businesses and large organisations in her sleep. Fiercely competitive she is often found in sales or marketing. She is frequently found chairing organisations and with her deeply entrenched desire to help the less fortunate or oppressed she makes a powerful Fundraiser or Campaigner. She likes to design and create and has a wonderful eye for what is hot and what is not.  Being a true Wands type this Queen loves to travel so a career that has her globetrotting would feed her wander-lust nature.  A travel show host would suit her well, so too a career as a TV show host or news reporter.  Her natural athletic abilities and competitive streak make for the professional sportswoman or coach. She would also do well as a Sports Journalist.
Enjoying the Limelight and being centre stage, the Queen of Wands can actually take to the stage.  She likes to perform so can be involved in theatre, TV or Movies.  She makes an excellent Director, instilling her actors with her own tireless enthusiasm.  She will motivate them to do better and to have self-believe. This lady can also be involved in the music business either playing to a large audience on stage or running everything behind the scenes.  She can easily move in the world of celebrities.
This Queen can be a success at anything she sets her sight on and is constantly setting new goals that would terrify the average person.  The one thing that will dampen the Fires of this wonderful lady is boredom, drudgery and repetition so she will never last any length of time in a job that confines her to the one place doing the same thing day in day out. She does like to be out and about and has no time for clock watching at the office desk.  An outdoor job as a site engineer, travelling from one building project to another would be highly suitable.
As a Mother, the Queen of Wands is warm, loving and lively.  She will inspire her children with her get-up-and-go attitude.  When she is not working, the Queen of Wands will spend all her time running from one club to another with her kids as she will have them playing every type of sport there is whether they like it or not.  Other mothers will marvel at her energy and drive and wonder how she manages to do it all as she stands on the side-line shouting tactics at her son or daughter on the playing field.  She never appears tired or disorganised.  You will also find her quite high up in the Parent Teacher Association where she will be an active member.  Holidays will be a time of great adventure and unusual exotic locations will be preferred where there is heat and places to explore rather than a two-week package holiday to an apartment complex.
The Queen of Wands will teach her kids to be brave and bold and to set high standards.  She will instil them with lofty ambitions and goals. She will cultivate a natural sense of self-belief within her children and encourage them to reach for the stars.  A strong campaigner for independence, you will not find this mother being at the beck and call of her children all the time.  They will quickly learn that if they want something then they should go get it themselves.  Her children will grow up with a strong sense of self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence.  They will be assertive and have a strong sense of what is right and what is wrong.  They will be encouraged to speak up, to express their opinions and to be honest and open in their dealings with others.
She will not accept any signs of defeatism should they fail at any stage.  She will brush them off, dust them down and get them back out there before they know what is happening. She will drive her children to be career focussed and to travel.  Because she herself does not like to be tied down, she will not be happy to see any of her offspring get involved in a long-term relationship too soon or to marry young.  As a result she can often be found to take over her children’s lives, being overbearing, interfering and controlling.

Drag kings
Tumblr media
#Drag kings series#
"When I first started, there was still a lot of people who didn't know what a drag king was or had never seemed to have heard the term before," said British performer Sammy Silver. While drag kings arguably have just as long a past, they have not enjoyed the same level of recognition or popularity - although that now appears to be changing. Male actors cross-dressing on stage have a well-known history going back to William Shakespeare's era and gay men performing in hyper-feminine drag have long been a part of the LGBT+ community. "I think he's really exploring his maleness and what it means to be a man in the 21st century." He's not massively confident, oddly enough, although he does love the stage. "Adam is more flamboyant, he's more cartoony, more fun-loving, dancey. "Once I've got the suit on and the shape looks right and the face looks male, I don't have to change my character very much at all to present completely and believably as male," Powell told the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Powell is among a growing number of drag kings - mostly female or transgender performers playing exaggerated male characters – in a previously niche LGBT+ performance scene that is booming in popularity across much of the Western world.
#Drag kings series#
But they have also performed on TV in the Starz show Vida, the Amazon series Transparent, and American Horror Story: 1984.Carefully painting in sharp cheekbones and heavy eyebrows before applying a moustache and a final sprinkling of glitter, Jen Powell slowly transforms into male alter-ego Adam All ahead of a performance at a London club. Vico has performed as Suave in clubs through LA. When I am performing Suave, it is me in the most raw way.” When Ortiz created Suave, they cited men like Ricky Martin as inspiration.įor Ortiz, performing Suave brings a feeling of completeness: “I found within my performance the intersection of all of me: my culture, my music, my dancing. In many ways, Suave is a tribute to Hispanic/Caribbean culture. He wears loose-fitting floral shirts that are open to the waist, tight pants, and gold jewelry. On his upper lip, he sports a delicately pencilled-in mustache. He sports a foppish haircut with short sides and long black curls that drape over his forehead. And he doesn’t take himself too seriously: goofy is the new sexy.” His hips don’t lie and will make love to you silly all night. Vico Ortiz describes their drag king persona best: “Passionate! Dramatic! Romantic! He’s the sensitive Latino lover you dream about. In 2021, you’ll be able to watch Murray Hill on several TV series: Amy Schumer’s Life & Beth on Hulu, Bridget Everett’s Somebody Somewhere on HBO, and Paul Feig’s This Country on Fox. Murray Hill takes his role as a trailblazer for the community seriously, and encourages those who have come after him, “If you don’t see yourself represented then go out and represent yourself.” Instead he says, “I’m Murray, just Murray.” In so doing, he has become a symbol of nonbinary and genderqueer performance that transcends drag. No, Murray rejects all pronouns and identifiers that would put him in a box. But here’s the rub: Although he is a leader in the drag king community, Murray Hill does not consider himself a drag king. With slicked-back hair, windowpane suits, horn-rimmed glasses, and polyester ties, his persona recalls not the drag kings of the present but male impersonators of the past, such as Stormé de Larverie. He’s a fast talking, magnetic ad-libber with such control over his audience that he can take them from silent to rolling in the aisles and back in seconds. The legendary Murray Hill looks and behaves like a mid-century old-school comedian in the vein of Don Rickles, Shecky Greene, and Shelley Berman, who frequented resorts in the Catskills. In addition to performing internationally, Adam All hosts the drag king cabaret BOi BOX and co-hosts the drag king competition MAN UP. Jen Powell, who created Adam All 12 years ago, tells them., “He’s a gentle man who can charm and alarm with equal appeal, bringing live vocals and cartoon realness to his dashing geek-chic cabaret.” He moves with gusto from one punchline to the next, enchanting his audience and giving them an experience that is at once lighthearted and profound. Adam’s performance is a watertight, high-energy act. Known as the modern “Godfather” of the UK drag king scene, Adam All is arguably the most influential drag king presence east of the Atlantic, both as a performer and an advocate. I hope to encourage others to do the same and find freedom in expressing who they truly are.” - Jen Powell, creator of Adam Hall As an androgynous individual and as someone who considers themself to be gender-neutral, Adam allows me to embrace my masculinity and through him. “He has allowed me to embrace aspects of my personality that, since my childhood, I had felt forced to ignore.

*In general Senritsu has to be independent, fair and hardworking as a Hunter. She is kind and friendly and supportive. However, as much as she likes to be with people, fiercly independent as she is she really prefers to work alone or with someone on her eyelevel to share the expertise with. Accordingly she is not working well in hierarchys, especially not if she is suppose to be the boss of people she would prefer as her equals. Which makes her not especially great of an leader.
**Senritsu has an iron grip on her belongings, because she knows that she is not a tidy person and had tendencys to get very untidy and unorganized if she has too many belongings. That is one of the reasons why she has no actual Home to live in, because she knows that this place would end up in chaos. Not dirty, but very unorganized and messy as it would show how her creative mind focuses on one thing to obsess over while the rest would become for the moment of obsession unimportant. The true genius controls the chaos, thats true, but if people walk into her chaos of which she swears she has control over and which is definitive organized with her own system, they might have a heartattack.

The Meaning of Color
Remember, context is key. And, while most “facts” about color psychology lack scientific basis, a deeper look at the palette can reveal some essential insights:
RED
Red has a range of symbolic meanings through many different cultures, including life, health, vigor, war, courage, anger, love and religious fervor. The common thread is that all these require passion.
In moments of rage, lust or embarrassment, bright red oxygenated blood rushes to the skin's surface as a response to your “fight or flight” sympathetic nervous system. There are many theories as to why human and non-human species have evolved this physiological trait, however many center their conclusions around asserting dominance or appearing more attractive to a potential mate, according to the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B.
In relation to dominance, the colour red has even been found to impact the world of sport. A study published in the journal Nature found that several soccer teams achieved greater match results while wearing predominantly red shirts than while playing in other colours, such as white and blue.
Colors were so powerful in traditional cultures that red objects were believed to convey health through their color alone. For example, most red stones such as garnets and rubies were believed to have health-giving and disease-preventing properties. In Rome, children wore red coral as a talisman to protect them from diseases, and in China, for similar reasons, children always wore a piece of red clothing.
Red. The color of love, education, violence, danger, anger, and adventure. In some cultures, red is the symbol of good luck.
Red — typically associated with power, passion, or energy, and can help encourage action on your site
Red – Scarlet and crimson are among the variations that make red sexy and dangerous to Western eyes. Red may be bloody and arresting in the form of revolutionary rage and wounded bank balances, but red’s far less dramatic to Eastern eyes.
Red = Love, Passion, Strength, Power, Danger, Excitement, Energy
RED: warmth, love, anger, danger, boldness, excitement, speed, strength, energy, determination, desire, passion, courage, socialism, republicans, chaos
Eastern: luck, prosperity, happiness, long life, fertility, power.
Some Africa: mourning.
The color of passion and energy. Red draws attention like no other color and radiates a strong and powerful energy that motivates us to take action. It is also linked to sexuality and stimulates deep and intimate passion. Red is ubiquitously used to warn and signal caution and danger.
ORANGE
Similarly to red, orange has a range of symbolic meaning and connotations – for example – in many Western cultures orange is often used for fun, strength, courage and creativity, according to the Huffington Post.
In recent history, though, orange has come to denote a warning, and is used for high visibility clothing (such as spacesuits ) and safety equipment (such as traffic cones). This association is a practical one: Orange contrasts most strongly with the color blue and therefore is highly visible against a clear sky.
Orange. Made by mixing red and yellow. Orange is vibrant, healthy, and abrasive. Thus, making it a very polarising color.
Orange — joy and enthusiasm, making it a good choice for positive messaging
Orange – Linked with creativity and happiness, orange declares national and religious identity and defines athletic applications. Like red, it can grab attention (e.g., prisoner jumpsuits). Consider it for youthful, energetic brands as opposed to luxury, traditional or serious ones.
Orange = Warmth, Creativity, Adventure, Freshness, Happiness, Attraction, Success
ORANGE: cheerfulness, low cost, affordability, enthusiasm, stimulation, creativity, aggression, food, halloween, liberal (politics)
Eastern: happiness, spiritual
Because orange is associated with happiness and creativity it is well suited to youthful, energetic brands and best avoided for luxury, traditional or serious products.
The color of enthusiasm and emotion. Orange exudes warmth and joy and is considered a fun color that provides emotional strength. It is optimistic and upliftning, adds spontaneity and positivity to life and it encourages social communication and creativity. It is a youthful and energetic color.
YELLOW
It isn't surprising that yellow symbolizes happiness, warmth and sunshine in most cultures; these are characteristics of the yellow sun and its effects.
In ancient cultures where a god or gods were associated with the sun, such as Egypt and China, yellow was the highest and noblest of colors and thus, the color of religious figures and royals (who were thought to be descendants of the gods).
Conroy explains that all colors have a flipside, a degraded meaning that traditionally opposed the positive one. Along with warmth and happiness,  yellow also represents cowardliness and deceit. "We recognize the deceitful Judas very often in ancient pictures from the fact that he is given dingy yellow robes," she wrote.
Yellow. The most attention grabbing hue on the color spectrum. It has a variety of meanings ranging from happiness and creativity to cowardice, caution, and betrayal. Yellow, in some cultures, is associated with deities .
Yellow — happiness and intellect, but be wary of overuse
Yellow – The color of the Sun highlights with eye-catching warmth. Yellow can represent happiness, warmth, alarm, sickness, cowardice; take your pick. Some shades can look cheap, though, so it’s a noteworthy example of the need to research users’/customers’ reactions.
Yellow = Optimism, Cheer, Happiness, Warmth, Caution, Energy, Intellect
Some shades of yellow can look cheap — although this may suit your product image. So, yellow is a great example of when to research consumer reaction to color appropriateness and make sure it is the right color for your product.
YELLOW: attention-grabbing, comfort, liveliness, cowardice, hunger, optimism, overwhelm, Summer, comfort, liveliness, intellect, happiness, energy, conflict
Eastern: sacred, imperial, wisdom, male
Some Middle-East: mourning
Africa: high rank
France: jealousy
Greece: sadness
The color of happiness and optimism. Yellow is a cheerful and energetic color that brings fun and joy to the world. It makes learning easier as it affects the logical part of the brain, stimulating mentality and perception. It inspires thought and curiosity and boosts enthusiasm and confidence.
GREEN
For obvious reasons, the color green represents nature and the environment; more abstractly, it symbolizes wisdom. The latter association has ancient roots.
According to Conroy, the Egyptians believed that a god named Thoth led the souls of the dead to "a green hill of everlasting life and eternal wisdom." Later, the Romans based their god Mercury on Thoth, and the planet Mercury was in turn based on the god. For this reason, in astrology,"green is sometimes said to be the color of the planet Mercury, which is the planet governing the mind and conferring knowledge knowledge not only of the kind essential to material success, but also inspirational knowledge and celestial wisdom," Conroy wrote.
Aside from its association with wisdom, there's a flipside to green. "Green in its degraded sense gives us 'the green-eyed monster jealousy,' which is the direct opposite of celestial wisdom, for jealousy is always due to the intrusion of the desires of the self, while celestial wisdom wishes to give rather than to receive," Conroy wrote.
The color green has also been firmly attributed to the environment – in particular when used to illustrate products or campaigns which support the health of the planet. According to the BBC the word “green” comes from the Proto-Indo-European (ancient people that lived around the 4th millenium BC) word “ghre”, which means “grow”. It is fair to assume that green’s connection to nature lies in its abundance amongst it. The majority of plant’s naturally produce green-colored pigments called chlorophyll which are the sites for the conversion of atmospheric carbon dioxide into breathable oxygen, known as photosynthesis.
Green. Made by mixing yellow and blue. Universally associated with nature, green is both a lucky and unlucky color depending on whom you ask.
Green — often connected to growth or ambition, green can help give the sense that your brand is on the rise
Green – It’s the color of Mother Nature and her life-sustaining bounty, with connotations of recycling and healthy finances. Green also means “proceed”; but there’s also inexperience and envy. The shade matters. Brighter, lighter greens indicate growth, vitality and renewal; darker, richer greens represent prestige, wealth and abundance.
Green = Nature, Growth, Wealth, Luck, Envy, Freshness, Quality
Pick your shade of green carefully as brighter, lighter greens indicate growth, vitality and renewal; while darker, richer greens represent prestige, wealth and abundance.
GREEN: durability, reliability, environmental, luxurious, optimism, healing, well-being, nature, calm, relaxation, Spring, safety, honesty, optimism, harmony, freshness
Eastern: birth, hope, new beginnings, youth, immortality, fertility
Middle East: Islam, strength, luck, fertility, prestige
Africa: corruption
South America: death
The color of harmony and health. Green is a generous, relaxing color that revitalizes our body and mind. It balances our emotions and leaves us feeling safe and secure. It also gives us hope, with promises of growth and prosperity, and it provides a little bit of luck to help us along the way.
BLUE
According to Conroy, the primary association of the color blue for most of recorded history was with truth a meaning that leaves a remnant in our language in the phrase "true blue." This was because blue is the color of a calm and clear sky, and it is in calm reflection that leads to truth.
Today, though, blue mainly conveys sadness and despair. When you've "got the blues," you're down in the dumps. The connotation may relate to tears and rain , as water was typically represented in people's minds as blue.
However, research has shown that the colour blue has many positive effects on people. For example, research exploring crime on the streets of both Glasgow, Scotland, and Nara, Japan, found that crime levels decreased in areas where blue streetlights had been installed, according to Psychology Today.
Blue. A favourite color among many, it is almost the opposite to red in its meaning. Different shades have different significance, but with an overarching theme of trust, serenity, and dignity.
Blue — tranquility and confidence, depending on the shade — lighter shades provide a sense of peace, darker colors are more confident
Blue – People find blue trustworthy, assuring, calming and masculine. It’s a tranquil sea and peaceful wonder at the sky; but then it can “mood-swing” to depression. You can bank on blue for designing financial and corporate dependability, although the right shade is vital.
Blue = Trust, Calm, Sadness, Peace, Loyalty, Depth, Authenticity
Blue runs the gamut from corporate and dependable, to calming and tranquil, to feeling down in the dumps. So, choose your shade wisely.
BLUE: peace, professionalism, loyalty, reliability, honor, trust, melancholia, boredom, coldness, Winter, depth, stability, professionalism, conservatism, democrats
Eastern: immortality, life, feminine
Middle East: protection
Mexico: mourning
The color of trust and loyalty. Blue has a calming and relaxing effect on our psyche, that gives us peace and makes us feel confident and secure. It dislikes confrontation and too much attention, but it is an honest, reliable and responsible color and you can always count on its support.
TURQUOISE
The color of calmness and clarity. Turquoise stabilizes emotions and increases empathy and compassion. It emits a cool calming peace, gives us a boost of positive mental energy that improves concentration and clarifies our mind, and creates a balance that clears the path to spiritual growth.
PURPLE
Purple symbolizes royalty, nobility and imperialism. In many European societies, the symbolism was even established by law: From ancient Rome to Elizabethan England, "sumptuary laws" forbade anyone except close members of the royal family to wear the color, according to Harvard Law School.
Purple's elite status stems from the rarity and cost of the dye originally used to produce it. Fabric traders obtained "Tyrian purple," as the dye was called, from a small mollusk that was found only in a region of the Mediterranean Sea near Tyre, a Phoenician trading city located in modern-day Lebanon, according to the journal Molecules. More than 9,000 mollusks were needed to create just one gram of Tyrian purple, and because only wealthy rulers could afford to buy and wear fabrics dyed with the color, it became associated with the imperial classes of Rome, Egypt and Persia.
Another consequence of this is that purple also came to represent spirituality and holiness, because the ancient emperors, kings and queens that wore the color were often considered to be gods or descendants of the gods.
Purple. Made by mixing red and blue. The most expensive color to create, purple often has a supernatural aura. It can also have dual meanings ranging from intellectual and dignified to decadent, pompous or even a symbol of mourning.
Purple — luxury or creativity, especially when used deliberately and sparingly on your site
Purple – Long associated with royalty, purple connotes luxury and indulgence. But its majesty doesn’t always translate to design; for example, only women favor it as a top-tier color. Purple is uncommon in branding.
Purple = Royalty, Nobility, Wisdom, Luxury, Imagination, Mystery, Spirituality
Purple is best used for targeting a female audience as research suggests women list purple as a top-tier color while it doesn’t even rank for men. Overall, purple is not a common color for branding and, in fact, Cadbury is the only purple brand in the Forbes list of the 100 most valuable brands from 2014.
PURPLE: power, royalty, nobility, elegance, sophistication, artificial, luxury, mystery, royalty, elegance, magic
Eastern: wealth, privilege, sorrow, mourning
Brazil: death, mourning
The color of spirituality and imagination. Purple inspires us to divulge our innermost thoughts, which enlightens us with wisdom of who we are and encourages spiritual growth. It is often associated with royalty and luxury, and its mystery and magic sparks creative fantasies.
PINK
The color of love and compassion. Pink is kind and comforting, full of sympathy and compassion, and makes us feel accepted. Its friendly, playful spirit calms and nurtures us, bringing joy and warmth into our lives. Pink is also a feminine and intuitive color that is bursting with pure romance.
Belgium: boys (rest of Europe is girls)
BROWN
BROWN: relaxing, confident, casual, reassuring, nature, earthy, solid, reliable, genuine, Autumn, endurance
Eastern: earth, mourning
The color of stability and reliability. Brown is dependable and comforting. A great counselor and friend full of wisdom. You can count on its help if you need an honest opinion, support and protection. It stabilizes us, helps us stay grounded and inspires us to appreciate the simple things in life.
BLACK
The colour – or rather adsense of colour– black is often linked with negative associations, such as death, fear or sadness, according to the Journal of international Colour Association.
Many ancient cultures believed that black was "the color of mystery and of the mysterious ways and wisdom of God,"  historian Ellen Conroy wrote in her book "The Symbolism of Colors" (1921). This was because night, the absence of light, transcended human perception in the same way that the wisdom of God was thought to be beyond comprehension.
Of all mysteries, death may have been the biggest. Ancient people were completely "in the dark" about what would happen to them after death, and so it was (and is) represented by the color black in many cultures. There was the added coincidence of death sharing similarities with sleep, which happens in the darkness of night and when closed eyelids block out all light. Throughout history the color black has also been attached to fearful and mysterious things, such as black magic, black holes, the black plague and so on.
Of course the black isn’t always synonymous with death and despair, especially in the world of fashion. A study published in the journal Color Research and Application found that black was the overall favourite color to wear amongst female study participants.
Black — power and mystery, and using this color can help create necessary negative space
Black –Black means serious business, with overtones of severity and mystery, of death and grief. However, its inherent darkness doesn’t always convey negativity. It’s also a positive bank balance and smart, attractive clothing. It’s best to consider contrasting it with a bright color: gold for luxury or white for a bold, simple statement. Also, its texture and glossiness can influence your brand’s message.
Black = Sophistication, Formality, Sorrow, Boldness, Elegance, Death, Mystery
Contrast a bright color against black; use gold foil for a touch of luxe, or combine it with white for a bold and simple statement. Think about texture and how matte or glossy black might change the message of your brand.
BLACK: Elegance, sophistication, formality, power, strength, illegality, depression, morbidity, night, death
Eastern: wealth, health, boys, mystery, evil
The color of power and sophistication. Black is an incredibly strong and intimidating color that exudes authority and makes us feel secure and protected. Often seen at formal and prestigious events, this mysterious marvel arouses and seduces our senses with its elegance and sexiness.
GRAY
GRAY: conservatism, traditionalism, intelligence, serious, dull, uninteresting
The color of compromise and control. Gray is neutral, conservative and unemotional. It is practically solid as a rock, making it incredibly stable, reliable and calming. It has a peaceful, relaxing and soothing presence. Gray avoids attention but offers mature, insightful advice to anyone who asks.
WHITE
Throughout history, white has been synonymous with purity and virtue, which lends itself to many religious ceremonies. For example, wearing white to a wedding dates back more than 2,000 years when Roman brides wore white tunics to signal a woman’s virginity, according to Ohio State University.
However, it wasn’t until Queen Victoria walked down the aisle in a white lace dress to wed Prince Albert in 1840, that wearing white wedding gown became popular. In many Asian cultures, particularly in China, white is not a traditional used for wedding gowns – red or gold may be more commonly seen wedding colors – but is worn instead of black at funeral services and is a symbol of mourning, according to Yerevan State University.
Although white is often referred to as a “color”, white is actually the combination of all the wavelengths of color that are reflected off an object, according to Encyclopedia Britannica.

Use in retail and business
Here are some ways in which colors are used in retail and business:
Red: Creates urgency - often used in sales and impulse sales
Green: Easy, calm - used to relax people
Blue: Creates trust - used by financial institutions such as banks
Navy blue: Cheaper - selling to price-sensitive
Royal blue: Urgency - selling to impulse buyers
Pink: Romantic - selling to women and girls
Yellow: Grabbing attention - used in displays and windows
Orange: Energizing - used to push for action, as in impulse buying
Purple: Calm - used in anti-aging products
Black: Power - selling luxury, aggressive products, or to impulse buyers
Color can even change what you taste. Customers who bought 7-Up cans that had their color changed to yellow reported that the drink tasted more lemony.
Gender effects
Men and women see colors differently. Men are generally less sensitive to color, so a subtle shade of orangey-red will just appear red. Men also see green things as more yellow than women. Women are less sensitive to color in the detail of objects and also in things which are moving quickly.
Red has been associated with romance and an American experiment offering dates with identical pictures of the same woman in different colored dresses found that a red dress was most effective in stimulating male desire.
Cultural effects
Remember that color can be culturally dependent. For example, although Black is the color of death in many countries, in China the color associated with death is White.
