If you haven't seen an MCC and are wondering why everyone keeps saying CaptainSparklez needs to win finally, it's because he's been in EVERY MCC since the beginning (only like five other people have done that), has made it to Dodgebolt (second place) twice in a row and LOST, and is famously cursed to be on a third place team. He holds a spot on quite a few point leaderboards for how well individuals perform in events and even holds two records in the game, Most Players Tagged in Parkour Tag (tied with 7 others) and the Most Wins in Skyblockle, and he's only one build behind KaraCorvus on the Most Buildmart Builds Completed leaderboard. And he still. Hasn't won. An MCC.

I know this might sound like gibberish if you've never seen an MCC but the point is that he gets so close to winning sometimes that it's comical, once coming in third place with a difference of only 138 points between his team and second place (that's a VERY small amount). Sparklez performs consistently well in the competition, he just somehow cannot catch a break and finally win. Bottom line is, when MCC rolls around, ROOT FOR THE CAPTAIN.

The Hermitcraft tag has decided to rank the hermits by how much they want to and how likely they'd win in a fight against them, and while I love hermitcraft very very much and you should watch it, I decided to do it but with the dsmp so lesgo

(this is about the characters btw)

Tommy: 5/10, I feel like we'd be pretty evenly matched, it's a coin toss

Tubbo: 0/10, this man has nukes and more reason to go batshit than almost anyone else on the server id be obliterated in seconds

Ranboo: 5/10, I wouldn't want to fight him but if I did I'd simply aim for the knees and topple him

Techno : 50/10, I'm still salty about doomsday so i would immediately throw hands, he would turn me into dust within seconds and call me a nerd, and honestly itd be an honour

Philza: 49/10, same as Techno but point reduction because he has dad energy and I like my dads alot, and also bird man go brrr

Wilbur: 10/10, tf he gonna do quote Hamilton at me? I'd aim for this JD kinnies kneecaps and he'd be gone in seconds

Niki: 0/10, I would not fight her I'd feel bad and she would wreck my shit

Captain Puffy: 10/10, not because I want to fight her, but because it would be an honour to be slain by this queens blade

Hannah: 10/10, same reason as Puffy except id die faster

Quackity: 5/10, morally I know tortue is wrong, but he's girlbossing so hard that I may not fight him

Fundy: 3/10, I'd feel kinda bad but I would also win very easily, all I have to do is show him a picture of me being happy with my dad and he'd be defeated

DSMP/Mianite Harry Potter AU: Backstory & Philosopher’s Stone

Masterlist

Events Before Philosopher's Stone

XD, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, is at large during the first Wizarding War. The Order of The Phoenix is trying it’s best to stop the threat(because the Ministry isn’t doing much). The original members included Phil, Jordan, Puffy, Tom, Tucker, Sonja, Eret’s dad(who dies during the War), Sally(Fundy’s mom, no connection to Wilbur, also dies), and three powerful wizard siblings: Mianite, Dianite, and Ianite.

As powerful as the three were, they were assigned guards just in case XD came for them.

Jordan was assigned to Ianite, Tom was assigned to Dianite, and Tucker and Sonja were assigned to Mianite.

And then the prophecy happens, that XD will only be defeated by the one who wields the Wand of Balance.

No one knew who wielded the wand of balance at the time...except for a few members of the Order

Now there was also the suspicion that there was a mole in the Order, and that was proven right when they got word that XD also knew about the prophecy.

So they have the three siblings separate to different parts of the country for fear that XD may come after them for the wand or knowledge of the wand. No one knows the locations of where any of the siblings are, except their guards who are with them, and Phil.

This is the night when everything happens.

First, Tom finds out that Dianite was the traitor, and hurriedly sends an owl to wherever Tucker and Sonja are, because owls always find their recipient. He also hurries back to the order

Second, Tucker and Sonja come upon Mianite, who was murdered by Dianite. In their pursuit, Dianite loudly proclaims in public that it was Tucker and Sonja who murdered Mianite and frames them for the murder of 13 muggles before faking his death and leaving behind a finger as evidence of death.

Third, Jordan and Ianite are ambushed and in a desperate attempt to save Jordan, Ianite sends Jordan...somewhere. Ianite dies shortly after the ambush.

Lastly, while all of this is going down, XD goes to the Maron household in hopes of getting information out of Jordan about Ianite or the wand of balance.

Except Jordan isn’t there. XD is met with Puffy and a one year old Tubbo. XD and Puffy duel, resulting in Puffy being hit with a powerful curse that afterwards made her stay at St Mungo’s for over a year. She was left with half white, half brown hair and sheep horns.

It also made her unable to protect Tubbo when XD went to kill him.

Except the curse backfires, and rebounds on to XD, supposedly killing him and stripping him of his powers.

The word travels fast that XD was defeated by a 1 year old boy. They claim he is the chosen one since he defeated XD.

Tubbo Maron, The boy who lived.

The aftermath: Tucker and Sonja in Azkaban, Mianite and Ianite dead, Dianite is a traitor and supposedly dead, Puffy is hospitalized, and Jordan is missing.

After weeks of searching for Jordan and coming up empty, Phil decides to take in Tubbo and raise him with his wife Kristen, alongside his son, Wilbur.

Philosopher's Stone

Having grown up with Phil and Wilbur, Tubbo knows he’s a wizard very early on.

He also knows that the whole wizarding world thinks he’s the chosen one, with all the stares and whispers he gets when he goes out with Phil and Wilbur on occasions.

But every time Tubbo gets anxious about it, Phil always reassures him.

“Everyone thinks I’m some great wizard or that I will be when I get older. I don’t know if I can handle that kind of pressure, Phil.”

“Mate, don’t worry about what you think the entire world thinks about you. If you do, you’re gonna run yourself ragged. All that you should worry about is if you’re happy. And when you’re not, you’ll always have someone to talk to. And if you’re worried about being a great wizard, I know you have some of your dad’s traits. You’ll be great.”

Phil tried to keep Tubbo away from most of the “Chosen one bullshit” as he referred to it. He tried to give Tubbo a normal wizard life as much as possible. But he would tell Tubbo many stories about his dad and what he got up to at Hogwarts.

Phil did not tell Tubbo anything about the Order of the Phoenix or about most of the events that happened the night he got that scar. Just that XD came looking for Tubbo’s dad and when his dad wasn’t there, XD went to attack him and died. All Tubbo knows is that his dad was never seen after that night.

Speaking of Hogwarts, after seeing Wilbur go off to school for two years and having it just be him and Kristen in the house when Phil has headmaster duties, Tubbo finally got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Hand delivered by Phil of course.

Once books, robes, a wand, and an owl named Benson was acquired, Tubbo counted down the days till September 1st.

The day came and Kristen took the boys to Platform 9 and ¾ to board the Hogwarts Express. After an emotional goodbye, Wilbur and Tubbo boarded the train and Tubbo’s adventure began.

Tubbo bumps into a tall boy named Ranboo on the train and they find a compartment to ride together. It’s all nice and tranquil as they make small talk and get to know each other. Ranboo mentions he's a muggleborn and has memory problems. Tubbo's about to tell him his name when the compartment door is slammed open by a tall blonde boy.

“Hey bitch! Is this compartment taken?”

Tommy. The boy’s name is Tommy. Who took a seat no matter the answer.

“So, what’s your name?” “I’m Tubbo. Tubbo Maron”

*Que the exclamations of surprise and questions*

Word did travel that The Chosen One was on the train, and a boy named Purpled came into the compartment.

Purpled is self centered, telling Tubbo that he could keep better company with him.

Tubbo turns him down and Tommy loudly tells him to leave the compartment. Purpled does after Tommy's spider Shroud tries to bite him.

Anyway, the train soon arrives at Hogwarts and the first years are ushered across the lake and into the castle to get sorted.

Brought into the Great Hall by Professor Puffy, the sorting starts. Ranboo gets sorted into Hufflepuff, Tommy gets sorted into Gryffindor, Purpled gets sorted into Syltherin.

Then with a brief hesitation, Professor Puffy calls “Tubbo Maron”

The hall erupts into whispers as Tubbo steps up to the stool and the hat is placed on his head. After a few moments, the hat shouts Ravenclaw.

Tubbo goes to the table and after getting a thumbs up from Wilbur and a wave from Ranboo and Tommy, Tubbo is introduced to Eret, an older year Ravenclaw.

On to life at Hogwarts.

Purpled steals a student’s item during flying lessons and Tubbo tries to take it back on a broom. Professor Vikstar, who is the flying instructor and Head of Ravenclaw, sees this and puts Tubbo on the Quidditch team to play Seeker. Eret is the Captain of the team and is able to show Tubbo the ropes.

Purpled also challenges Tubbo to a duel. Tommy goes with him as his second and Ranboo comes to make sure they don't get in trouble but surprise! Purpled doesn't show and the trio, having to run away from the caretaker, stumble upon a giant three headed dog(which they later learn is named Fran from the Groundskeeper, Hbomb.)

Troll in the Dungeon! Professor Antfrost comes bursting into the Great Hall on Halloween, loudly proclaiming there is a troll in the dungeon before fainting.

Look at me and tell me Tommy wouldn’t want to go and see the troll.

Tubbo and Ranboo reluctantly tag along to make sure he doesn’t get hurt/in trouble. Cut to Tommy being held upside down by the troll and Tubbo knocking it out with it’s club.

Puffy, Phil and AntFrost come across them and instead of getting house points, they get detention.

Oh look Antfrost is injured, must have gotten that when he ran into the Troll.

The trio has to serve detention with H in the Forbidden Forest and since they were able to get the name of the dog out of H, why not ask him what it’s guarding.

He says he won’t say anything about it. “Whatever Fran is guarding is between Professor Watson and Nicholas Flammel…..I shouldn’t have said that.”

So now the trio are spending most of their free time researching about Flamel.

“Why can’t you just ask Professor Watson? Isn’t he like your dad or something ``

''He would know we’re looking at something we aren’t supposed to. And I don’t want to get in trouble again.”

Christmas comes around and Tubbo gets an invisibility cloak with a note saying it was his father's (Puffy gave it to him but Tubbo doesn't know that.)

Well now the whole school's open to explore and he can research about Flamel after dark.

He isn't quite about it though and when fleeing from the caretaker he ends in an empty classroom that has a mirror.

Except when he looks in it, he doesn't just see himself. He sees a man standing next to him. His father! He excitedly turns around but no one is there. Looking back at the mirror, he sees more people, including Professor Puffy standing right next to his dad.

It's easy enough for Tubbo to come to the conclusion that this mirror shows him his family, but he's curious why Puffy's there.

So of course he asks Puffy if she knew his dad. And she's a bit hesitant on her answer

"I know him. We, uh...we went to school together."

The answer doesn’t satisfy Tubbo but Puffy kicks him of her classroom out before he can ask more questions.

Tubbo keeps going back to the mirror every night till he is eventually met with Phil and Puffy in the room waiting for him.

Phil explains that the mirror is the mirror of Erised, it shows the person what he desires most. When Tubbo tells him that he sees his family in the mirror, Puffy tells him that Tubbo’s dad is her brother.

Tubbo wants to ask more questions, but Phill tells him the mirror will be moved and wants him to promise not to try and find it. Tubbo reluctantly agrees.

Eventually the trio find out that Nicolas Flamel was the creator of the Philosopher's Stone and that’s what Fran must be guarding. Tubbo also comes to the conclusion that Professor Antfrost is the one after the stone.

So the trio try to go see Phil to tell him but Puffy says he’s away on urgent business. And instead of waiting for Phil to come back(because by then it will be too late) they decide to go after Antfrost themselves.

Conquering room after room, Tommy is knocked unconscious by the chess set and Ranboo stays to make sure he’s ok. Upon the final room, Tubbo comes face to face with Antfrost.

But Antfrost is not alone, kinda, cuz he’s got XD on the back of his head. We already know the motives. He wants to stone for XD, Tubbo gets it from the mirror and Antfrost turns to dust in the end.

Phil nearly has a heart attack when he finds out what happens but all is good in the end and Tubbo’s first year at Hogwarts comes to a close.

Before Tubbo leaves, Puffy gives Tubbo a family album and plans to visit during the summer.

Alright, just listen. Just listen. Consider this: platonic Beauty and the Beast AU for Primeboys. I’m a big believer in platonic yandere c!Dream, and there’s plenty of proof out there for it. This idea hit me last night scrolling through the c!Dream tag and it’s been holding my mind in a headlock all day. -Tommy takes the roll of Belle, obviously, and Dream’s the Beast (or Dreamon in this case. Gotta love them Dreamons.). We’ve got the perfect setting for some Stockholm and Lima syndrome to settle in. The curse stays the same ‘if Dream can learn to love someone, and earn their love in return, the curse will break’, but it doesn’t have to be romantic love. Extra angst points if you’d like since Sapnap and George care for Dream but because the curse remains unbroken he doesn’t reciprocate.

-Wilbur as Tommy’s brother (stop, I’m going to cry) instead of the father. Starts out as a revolutionary meeting up with some fellow thinkers up north (Antarctic Anarchists anyone?) and gets captured in Dream’s castle. It could go by the name ‘Pandora’s Vault’ if so inclined, but I digress. After Tommy comes to take his place Wilbur’s gonna take that Pogtopia train into poor mental health that the majority of the fandom seems to focus on. Love that for him, you go you white-haired president!

-Quackity as Gaston, except he’s just trying to get Tommy to join his casino as a cook. We’ve got that beautiful hatred dynamic between Quackity and Dream already set up, as well as the ‘join my country Tommy, but you stay out Soot.’ Sexual tension between Wilbur and Quackity if you wish, but I personally don’t headcanon it for this AU.

-Charlie is Le Fou. I imagine their relationship would be very similar to what’s goin on in Las Nevadas, except Charlie’s a bit more understanding of human culture. That doesn’t mean he’s not still a goopy guy with 300 bones and is definitely a human...

-Sapnap as Lumière. Just think about it: fire. Plus their playful personalities work together.

-George as Cogsworth. We’ve got the loyal maître d' Sapnap and I think George could fit as Dream’s majordomo. If he’s awake long enough anyways. Not to mention the playful banter between George and Sapnap. With these two we’ve got the dream team all set up.

-Captain Puffy as Mrs. Potts. Best dad in the castle, for sure.

-Foolish as Chip, though instead of a small chipped cup he’s a tall goblet made of gold with emeralds inset and silver sharks. Gotta keep that shark totem motif goin!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t think of a place for Tubbo and Ranboo, except maybe extra assistants for Tommy? And there’s plenty of room for the other characters. Anyone who wants to take this further or add your own ideas, feel free to.

“You got food, bitch?” Tommy shouted as the door unlocked.

“No!” Purpled yelled.

“Fuck you! Why the fuck are you here?” Tommy screamed. “And without food! It’s dinner time!”

“Calm,” Tubbo muttered in Tommy’s ear, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.

“I have your brother,” Purpled said.

Tubbo stood quickly at attention. It was probably his brother, and he would need to show Dream that he could handle himself. His friends were fine and safe, he wasn't hurt.

Tubbo froze. It wasn’t Dream standing on the other side of the door. It was Techno.

Tommy’s face crumpled; why was Techno here? “Where’s Dream? Dream’s supposed to be here?” Tommy asked desperately. Techno wasn’t in this gang stuff. He was just a petty thief so that they could eat.

Ranboo didn’t care. He simply saw salvation and he ran into its arms. He trusted Techno with everything in his body.

“Hey buddy,” Techno said, taking a step back from the force.

“Where’s Dream?” Tubbo demanded.

“Being a dumbass upstairs. Got himself arrested.”

Tubbo’s panicked expression left his face, and was replaced with one of slight disappointment. He took a deep breath to soothe the wrinkles in his forehead. “I want to go home,” he said, stepping out of the room. “Why is George here?”

George slipped into Techno’s shotgun seat before any of the boys. Techno tried to turn on the radio, but all three freshmen were adamant that they weren’t feeling up to it on the ride to the station.

Quackity, Wilbur, Fundy, Slimecicle, Dream, and Sapnap all get taken in for individual questioning in a separate wing of the station.

Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo each give their stories to the interviewer with Techno in the room: something about his presence was comforting.

George waited in the lobby with the two boys not getting interviewed. At some point news cameras showed up and tried to get pictures through the glass windows of the station. George knew from experience that it was not a fun experience to have your picture in the paper, so he took the bullet and used his body to try to shield the boys.

Tubbo and Ranboo were playing battleship over text when Tommy dropped heavily into the seat next to him.

“You good?”

“No. Techno. Techno’s not supposed to be wading in your shit,” he scorned.

George’s phone buzzed. Pulling it out of his pocket and checking the screen; his blood ran cold. The problem with the media is that they are very quick.

Momma Lore I’m on my way.

Shit. George hadn’t even called anyone to come pick him up. He figured that since Purpled had called Bad in to be in the room with him for his interview that he didn’t need to call anyone. He was at the police station, of course he was calling his friend’s dad and not his own mother.

He started panicking.

“George,” a voice broke him out of his fog. “George. Hey. It’s Techno.”

George inhaled. “Hey Techno.”

“You good?”

“Mother.” He took a gasping breath and dug his nails into the armrest to ground himself. “Mother texted. She’s coming.”

“Oh.” Techno shifted slightly. “It’s your turn to make a statement. So you can hide in there.”

George quirked a smile before returning to a tight expression. “Yeah. Yeah.” He stood up. “I’ll be back.”

Techno nodded to George and moved to let him pass. He then took up George’s seat next to Tommy, and turned to face him.

“Not now,” Tommy said. “I want a pillow to throw at you.”

“That’s fair, but we’re talking about this later.” Techno turned back forward, and picked up his phone. “We just gotta wait for Bad to sign us out and then we’ll go to the house.”

“Ok.”

“I’ll deal with the Foster Bitch.” Techno raised his hand in greeting when Bad entered the building.

“Please.” Tommy grabbed Techno’s arm and threw it behind the back of the chair. Using his newfound space, he snuggled up to Techno and rested his head on his shoulder. “I’m tired of pizza.”

“Did you eat anything other than pizza?” Techno asked jokingly.

“No.”

Techno snorted. He glanced over at Tommy’s phone. He smiled.The kid was playing crazy eights with all three of his friends; no hard feelings, he supposed.

A still nervous George was then walked out by Captain Craft and brought to the receptionist. Techno nudged Tommy with his head. “George. I’ll be back.”

Tommy pursed his lips, but he let Techno up.

“Bad’s here. No need to call.”

“Oh. Yeah.” George took one more intake of breath. “Who called him?”

“Purpled,” F1NN supplied. “He wanted an adult present during his interview.”

“Makes sense.”

Techno and George continued to crowd the desk. George may be more Dream’s friend than his, but he was growing on Techno.

The doors of the station were thrown open forcefully.

Techno didn’t like George <i> that </i> much.

“You useless boy! I am planning for your future here, and you are ruining it by getting into the paper! Grades are what count! Nothing but the grades and you know this!”

George subtly tried to lean away. In fact he seemed to be trying to hide behind Techno, who deftly stepped to the side and went to sit back next to Tommy.

“You can’t be getting into stuff like this.” She took a deep breath and put on her smile. “Thank you officer for dealing with my son. I’ll take it from here.”

“Uhm actually!” the receptionist floundered, clearly noticing that George does not want to go home with this woman. “We’d like to keep him here. We have a few more questions we’d like to ask about the situation.” She held up a finger before Mrs. Lore could get a word in. “And I know he’s had a long night, and should start resting soon, but we’d like to get this mess cleaned up today if possible. We’d rather not have to call him back to the station on a later date. The memories will be fresher tonight.”

Mrs. Lore sneered at the receptionist before turning to her son. “You’re in so deep that they’re not even done with you yet?”

George straightened his back.

“Don’t even think about coming home tonight.”

“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Bad butted in, rushling slightly to reach them, having just finished up with Purpled. “Mine now. Muffin off if you please. Pack a bag and leave it on your porch, we’ll come pick it up once we’re all done here. I’ll take him out of your hair if he's such a disappointment.”

Mrs. Lore shoved her finger in Bad’s face. “You have corrupted my son! With your complete and utter tolerance and downwrite encouragement of illegal activities.”

“What my parents didn’t know couldn’t hurt them,” Bad said, defending his parenting skills. “You don’t give him enough freedom.”

“You give him too much!” she shouted back.

George took a step behind Bad and tugged lightly at his arm. “I don’t need my stuff,” he whispered. “I’ll just use Sapnap’s.”

“You keep him.” And with that Mrs. Lore stomped off, passing the cameras once more and getting into her car.

Bad let out a sigh of relief. “I’m sorry about her.”

“It’s okay,” George said; toneless.

George went to sit by Techno and Bad turned to F1NN. “What’s the plan?”

In the end Bad was taking everyone home. Purpled was given a court date--after getting vouched by everyone else in Las Nevadas that he didn’t hurt anyone--and was put on probation at Bad’s house instead of waiting in juvenile detention. But the rest of the Las Nevadas crew were sent to jail to await their trial dates.

Dream and Sapnap were let go with yet another change added to their list and a court date. Bad signed everyone who was eligible out.

“Tubbo,” Bad addressed the boy lying on the floor. “You are having a proper dinner at my place, and I will force you to stay the night. Then you can Dream can figure out where you’re staying, because he’s trapped with me.” He points at Tommy, “Don’t think I don’t know you barely eat. You are coming over as well. Techno.” Bad points in his face.

“I’ll go kidnap Ranboo from his place.”

“Hey!”

Captain Craft paused his paper signing to look up at Techno. “Mate I’m literally right here.”

“Ranboo?”

“I’ll come willingly but hey!”

“See? No kidnapping. No abduction. Just a teenager running away from home.”

“That’s still gonna get called in mate.”

“You overestimate my father,” Ranboo plainly stated.

Wait are you back on Farewell Wanderlust AU bullshit?? Because you broke my brain. I am stuck on The Captain being a villain and knowing his kid has decided to be a superhero but Tubbo doesn’t know what his dad does

So in my head the reason it never even crossed Tubbo or any of the others’ minds for his dad to be a super villain is because Mr. Jordan Sparklez is like literally the best dad ever, like simultaneously very responsible but also super fun. Like he’s the parent that drove Tubbo and co to get food before, and then drove them to their first homecoming dance when they were in middle school, and every year after that until they were old enough to drive themselves, but he still always offers. Like from all the kids’s perspectives he is one of the nicest human beings ever and he’s always happy to take the kids to do fun stuff so Tubbo has this internal dilemma of like being super guilty over lying to his father about the vigilante stuff,

meanwhile camera cuts to the Captain hanging some random villain using their friend’s intestines as a rope because they hurt Tubbo in a fight

PS I’m picturing the Captain in some like,, dark dragon outfit wings and all because of Mianite where he was the champion of the goddess of the End also later in that series he killed a god with his Bow of Balance so here’s my attempt at contributing because this fuckin AU lives in my head rent free

But oh yeah Mr. Sparklez is the nicest, he’ll drive you places and let you even tour his lab if you make sure not to touch anything. Shame his son doesn’t know of his other dealings, but the the captain would like to keep it that way :D
