What do you see in this painting? This painting, like all my pieces, has some obvious meanings and other hidden clues to let the viewer become aware of emotions, thoughts, ideas and lead them to search within themselves. I love listening to your interpretations, many times I get messages about what my work makes you feel or what you think it is about and I am fascinated to be able to witness the power of art. How it opens different universes through different people. During my visit to the @metmuseum , I became passionate about Egyptian culture and religion and realized that the only thing I knew were stories of aliens, so I started studying. This piece is 1/3 . The name hasn't arrived yet, I'm giving it space, time. People refer to the God Ra (one of the most important Egyptians gods), through the Egyptian Scarab Beetle. 🪲 It's a symbol of protection against disease and death. It's also interpreted as a symbol of resurrection. You know (maybe you don't 🤔 lol) that I love gold. And a lot of my art has gold foil, and it always represents connection to the Divine; sacredness. So this is a very personal interpretation of Strength. Spot the 90's kid item 😂 on it too. And if you wish, share with me your interpretation on this piece. Hola amigos del interneeeeeeeet!! I haven’t been posting,scrolling or reading messages. But for an amazing reason. I’m too busy being amazingly happy in the world beyond the screen. As some of you know, I love the woods and it happens to be part of my new tiny town. I’ve been taking a lot of pictures and extracting the colors of my new little town. I’m creating a palette of it and I discovered so may things! A presence that has been in my life since I was a child, a love story with my own color palette, a magical journey in a labyrinth full of consciousness. ¿Sabes cuál es otra forma de arte? El fluir. Es más delicada y me atrevería a decir que requiere más gracia que aprender alguna habilidad técnica. Me gusta estar lo más atenta que puedo, para entonces poder ver todas las pistas que se me presentan para fluir más, para soltar más, para ser más libre. El otoño en mi nueva ciudadcita me recuerda que todo tiene su tiempo perfecto, no todos los árboles cambian de color al mismo tiempo. Me recuerda que todo pasa, que donde había calorcito, también hay frío. Que el viento todo se lo lleva, todo menos la consciencia eternamente quieta que lo observa todo. Feliz mi día favorito de la semana!! 🍂 🍂🍂🍂🍂 Do you know what is another art form? To flow. It is more delicate and I daresay it requires more grace than learning some technical skill. I like to be as aware as I can, so that I can see all the clues that are presented to me to flow more, to let go more, to be more free. Autumn in my new tiny town reminds me that everything has its perfect time, not all trees change colors at the same time. It reminds me that everything comes and goes, that where there was warmth, there is also cold. That the wind takes everything away, everything except the eternally still consciousness that observes everything. •Les poissons• One of my favorite hobbies is fishing. 🎣 For now I have only fished in the ocean and I love it! I did “Les poissons” in honor of the fascination that the sea and its mysteries cause me. I also returned to the nature of watercolor: Not controlling. This time I did not design the piece, I did not plan it, I did not draw it first, I just put water and pigment on the paper, without restriction, without perfect lines, only stains. And I also painted them because we had an accident in my little family, Hubby spilled Ophelia's Omega 3 bottle on the floor and the whole place smelled like fish 😖 so instead of resisting it, I decided to make a watercolor according to the smell 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 Uno de mis hobbies favoritos es la pesca. Por lo pronto sólo he pescado en mar abierto y me encanta. Hice “Les poissons” en honor a la fascinación que me causa el mar y sus misterios. También volví a la naturaleza de la acuarela: No controlar. Esta vez no diseñé la obra, no la planeé, no la dibujé, sólo fui poniendo agua y manchando con acuarela, sin restricción, sin líneas perfectas, sólo manchas. Y también los pinté porque en mi pequeña familia tuvimos un accidente. Sigo con el barro y la cerámica y así se ve lo que hasta ahora he aprendido. ¡Lo amo! Lo estoy disfrutando muchísimo y no puedo esperar a experimentar más y combinarlo con mi pintura. NEW NEW NEW! I loooove to start new things. These last weeks I’ve working in some commissions, watercolors, acrylics, oils, abstracts, figurative... So I've been super busy! And I must confess I love it 🤓 I'm working in -almost- all of them at the same time (not literally obvious, I'm not that multitasker person) But I like to change from watercolor to oils, from figurative to abstract ... ayyy! Is just that art gives me life !!! I hope you all are doing something that you love very much! And if you are not but you have to do it, I hope it’s smooth and easy. (ES) NUEVO NUEVO NUEVO! Me encanta empezar cosas nuevas. Estas últimas semanas he trabajado en algunos encargos, acuarelas, acrílicos, óleos, abstractos, figurativos...¡Así que he estado muy ocupada!
