Childe+Iskekai+Villain M!reader
Childe in Modern or in normal genshin, gets Iskaised (ik im spelling this wrong), and basically woos/falls in love with the villain reader instead of the typical FL. And if you can maybe what happens when Childe returns to his original world but the reader accidently goes with him.
Thank you 😊🐻
OHOHOHO THIS!!! THIS!!! i'm a huge fan of isekai actually lol! i hope you like this <: i did my best :")
fandom: genshin impact
character: childe
reader type: male (he/him), villain
summary: on his free time, childe picked up a light novel about a girl who was thrown into the world of a light novel she read before, an easy to read adventure and romance storyline that, of course, had a main villain, [name]. welp, now childe is the one being thrown into the world of a light novel he read before, and right in front of [name] and his two servants, the villains of the story.
genre: isekai, crack-ish, fluff, light angst (?)
notes: mentioned three ocs, [name] is not the best at being a villain... you're trying, that's what counts, right?, long title, because isekai stories have long titles /j
I'm just a Fatui Harbinger but I was suddenly thrown into the world of the light novel I read on my free time and then I fell in love with the villain of the story?! (ft. Childe)
Genshin!Childe is, as we all now, a Fatui Harbinger who just looooooves the thrill of battle, it's no surprise he somehow managed to get into a very weird domain with very weird artifacts thrown around...
And one of said weird artifacts brought him *here*
Crashing down on the table of a meeting room in what he identified as very Mondstadt-or-maybe-Fontaine-ish-palace
You and your two assistants (aka, your sidekicks, your best friends) stared at him in silence.
"Uh... [name]?" Irene, one of your friends, looked up at you from her seat. "What do we do with... this?"
He had just been transported to another world, though he didn't know! But naturally, he was disoriented and may or may not have a concussion, so it's normal he didn't react as he usually would.
"Oh, look, he has a weapon... many of them actually..."
"Well, what are you waiting for? He's still knocked out, take them away!"
You huffed and crossed your arms as Irene and Leigh, your other friend, started to analyze and confiscate anything that looked dangerous from Childe.
"Oohh~ Shiny crystals..." "Give those to me, Irene."
While you and your friends assistants stared in awe at his vision and delusion, Childe's brain started to think while he registered what was going on around him...
He recalled seeing this place before... and your names... [name], Irene and Leigh...
"--nother broken table... for now let's just take this weirdo to the dungeon." Your face came into view, you were glaring at him. "Are you dead?"
Childe blinked repeatedly.
Why the fuck is the main villain of the light novel he was reading recently glaring at him-
Wait, the main villain of the light novel he was reading recently was glaring at him-
"...What are you staring at me for, weirdo?"
"*sigh* [name], if he's meeting your eyes then he's obviously alive-" "Just shut the fuck up and tie this idiot up, Leigh!"
"Wait- what the fuck?! Where is here?! What-?!"
Childe was hit with a very heavy, blunt object, and next time he woke up, he was tied, shoeless, and weaponless on a dungeon and--
There were you, Irene and Leigh staring at him.
"Oh thank god, he lives!"
"Why did you even hit him with that book?!"
"You taught me to hit before asking, bro."
"Listen here you--"
After arguing in whispers with your friends, you turned again to look at Childe, crossing your arms across your chest and trying to stand taller to seem more intimidating.
"Speak, what are you and where did you come from?"
"Woah, easy there, comrade--"
"I'm not your comrade. Speak."
Well, he said... he said the truth- explained his situation in hopes of this being a misunderstading and you not being the characters from that book he was reading--
"This is the Kingdom of Wisteria, and I'm [name], the legitimate heir to the throne--"
You started blabbering, in classical villain manner, while your friends sat down and silently hyped you up, much to Childe's dismain.
Everything you said fitted the novel's details.
So after that, he ended up just confessing he wasn't from your world, and he didn't hope you'd believe him, but-
"Eh, that would explain why he just kinda popped into existence in our meeting room." <- Leigh.
"And now that I think about it, Lady Vainira has also said some weird stuff about being a doomed heroine from another world..." <- Irene.
Vainira...? The female lead of the light novel? Did he just get isekaid into a version of the novel where the female lead was also isekaid or...? What was this?
You nodded at your friends, deciding it made sense.
Childe thought this didn't make sense at all, but didn't complain out loud.
"Okay, Childe..." Irene snickered as you addressed him again. "You seem like a powerful person- a disoriented one, but powerful still." You sat down on the floor, staring at him directly in the eye. "Don't cause trouble to me or my goals, find your way home on your own."
---Yet, fast forward a couple months later, he was tagging along with you and your friends during your plans to overthrow your younger brother who had become the heir in your place.
You and him meshed quite well, actually! Although he knew you weren't exactly bloodthirsty or particularly enjoyed picking fights like him-
"[name] is... *sighs* well, you get it. Kind of misguided, kind of in the right, kind of in the wrong... Just tag along with us, yeah? He's really not a bad BAD guy... just... yeah." <- Leigh, about you.
"I promised I'd follow [name] till he reaches his goal because, well, that's what best friends do. I wouldn't have anywhere to go without him, so I'm gonna support him with all my might. Though... you know, I think he's not really focused these days... wink wink." <- Irene, about you.
Something changed as time went by and you spent more time with Childe.
Truth be told, you were getting attached to him. It felt like it was a shame, that at some point he would leave and you wouldn't be able to see him again.
It hurt.
Childe was amazing in your eyes- powerful, although ruthless, and caring and charismatic too- he had very easily earned your respect, as you earned his, too.
He said he served another monarch- well, "archon", whatever that was, and you'd be lying if you said hearing that didn't make you sulk all day long.
If you- no, not if you, when you got your seat on the throne you wanted him to be there with you! You could rule together, you could spend more time together, maybe even have dinners together just the two of you and maybe adopting a pet- many pets-
"...Um... lord [name], if it's okay for me to say this... I think you have a crush on your ginger friend?" <- Vainira, your (sort of one-sided) enemy, had noticed. And if she, of all people, noticed, then everyone else did too.
You were down bad for Childe and his many antics, that was for sure.
And with the cheeky smirks he sent you every time you sparred together, you knew, the motherfucker knew you had a crush on him.
And he, too, had a crush on you. How could he not? You're amazing, determined and strong.
So he flirted with you. A lot. A real lot.
At some point you two were kind of dating but kind of not? An almost-something, more than friends, less than lovers--
And one day, Childe finally found a way to return home.
"[name] isn't coming... he's busy with something." Irene would tell him, as she and Leigh exchanged farewells with him. Childe frowned, why wouldn't you come...? He thought you two had something special... :(
"At any rate, it was a pleasure to meet you. Don't get yourself killed, you're a great guy." Leigh shook hands with him, and he nodded, looking around one last time to try and find you, but you weren't there.
So after saying goodbye to the friends he made, except you, he left through the portal and returned to Teyvat.
And he stood in the middle of the road, thinking back.
Maybe he should've confessed to you before leaving- should've spent more time with you and not only teasing or sparring---
"How long are you gonna stand there for?"
His head snapped up, and he turned around to find you, in all your glory, standing there behind him with an almost flustered expression.
"...well, say something!"
Childe gawked at you, and then started giggling and laughing, hugging you close. You awkwardly returned the hug, resting your head against his shoulder.
You told him, you realized that you didn't feel sure about your goal of becoming the king anymore, that you thought you needed a change of pace and, well, since you guys had found a way to go back and forth between your worlds...
Childe was ecstastic-- he straight up kissed you without warning, and you kissed him back. Finally, making official your relationship.
From then on, you started to tag along with Childe everywhere- missions, vacations, anything and everything.
His siblings LOVE you, sometimes Childe gets jealous because they seem to love you more than they love him!! But that's just because you're amazing <3 It warms his heart to see you giggling while you play with his little siblings, knowing that due to your past, you didn't get to spend a normal childhood most of the time.
He definitely gets you to read the light novel of your world, and you laugh and snicker at it all the time.
"That drawing is supposed to be me? I'm more handsome than that, aren't I?!" <- You, seeing the illustration of your character on the light novel.
All in all, you're having a very good time here in Teyvat with Childe, and feel happier than you were before.
Sometimes you miss your world, and you know that at some point you will go back, if only to finally bring closure to your issues with your brother and family, but...
For now, adventures with Childe are okay. Adventures with the love of your life are okay.

Midway Thoughts on the Summer of Anime 2017 Season:
Can you believe we are already about halfway through the season? Where is the fucking time going? No, seriously, I demand to know where the time is going. Most of the currently airing shows have reached the mid point of their season, whether that’s the classic sixth or seventh episode, or even third or fifth episode, depending on how many episodes total. Regardless, it is time once again to give you my midway thoughts about this season and the shows I’m watching, and ones that I’ve dropped. Keep in mind that since we are at that halfway point, I’m able to go into a bit more details while trying to remain as spoiler free as possible. Also, please note that this is solely my opinion, and whether your opinion is similar, or different, I’d love to know. Let’s get started.
Dive!!: Studio Zero-G
Dropped. Honestly, this series was nothing but just a predictable, underwhelming series. Boy’s club getting shut down? Oh no! Boy must become a World Class ______ in order to save it. Training episodes. Things look up. Oh no, something terrible happens. Yay. He did it. ____ club saved! At first, I found myself comparing this series to Free!, but I can’t anymore. It’s lack of literally anything interesting proved that there was no way this was something like Free. Honestly, unless you live and breathe for Sports anime, don’t bother, unless you want to be reminded about what disappointment is.
Nana Maru San Batsu: TMS Entertainment
Dropped. Why? Because it’s shit. Plain and Simple. It started with potiential, but made me completely hate it within the first two episodes with a terrible art style, a bland MC, and a fucking god awful female lead. Honestly, had this show not been such poorly exacuted, I could have seen this show doing really well. Oh well. Moving on.
Iskekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni: Production Reed
Dropped. Honestly, there are quite a few reasons why I dropped this show. Let’s start with the most obvious one: the art style is trash. It’s just so generic and poorly executed. I’m also completely sick of the another harem in another world trope. Granted I’m not really a big fan of harem series in general, and this one managed to throw in a slightly different element by letting the MC keep his smartphone, it still wasn’t enough to make me keep this series for anything longer than two episodes. At least God understands our first world problems.
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: Studio Lerche
Dropped. This series was the one that I had the hardest time dropping. I was told that once it gets to episode three and four, it gets much, much better, and I really did try to get there, but I couldn’t do it. I just could not do it. That second episode is just bland, and doesn’t feel like it’s even the same series. Oh well, maybe you guys will have better luck.
Tsurezure Children: Studio Gokumi
This is the series that you watch when you’ve had a long day. It’s cute, and adorable and will put a smile on your face. It’s the series where you can turn off your brain and relax and watch little kids with their love problems. What more could you ask for?
Netsuzou TRap: Creators in Pack
Disappointed. Nine Minute Series. Nine Freaking Minutes. Honestly, unless you live and breathe for Yuri, don’t waste your time. The manga is a billion times better compared to this. #StopMakingShittyAdaptations #ForeverSalty
Hitorjime My Hero: Encourage Flims
Yeah, I’m still here watching this. Why you ask? Meh, I like BL. In all honestly though, it’s still turning out alright; it is a Shounen Ai, series, so regardless, I always go into them with no expectations, so for now, it’s just slightly better than most.
Hajimete no Gal: Studio NAZ
Have we already mentioned that I was trash? No? Oh, well, I’m trash because I fucking LOVE this series. God, this series is so bad, but it’s great. Guilty freaking pleasure series and I’m totally not even sorry about it. I think the main problem everyone has with this series is that since it’s a literal softcore hentai, you have to go in with zero expectations, and literally remind yourself it’s a comedy and shouldn’t be taken seriously. Oh well, it’s trash, and I’m trash, but I love it.
Koi no Uso: LIDENFLIMS
Have you ever wanted to drop a show, but didn’t because you prayed deep down that your question would be answered by the end of the series, knowing full well that, of course, it wouldn’t be? Well, that’s how I feel with this show. I want to drop it. I really want to drop it. But, I know full well that even though it won’t be answered, it might be answered if I watch it all. I had some high hopes for this series, and hell, after episode three, I was going strong with this series, but then . . . it just started falling short. Pretty soon, I’ll be left with nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth as this show just falls into the pile of “meh” anime with the rest of this year. Salty thoughts right? Well, at least you guys know I’ll be following the series til the end.
Made in Abyss: Kinema Citrus
If this isn’t the best this season, then it’s definitely the cutest. This show is wonderful. After starting it fairly late into the season, and not really knowing what to expect, I instantly became hooked by the third episode. I also love our MC. This series is also something completely different, and I’m super thankful for that.
Kakegurui: Studio MAPPA
Mmmmmm. My fucking gods. I live for these intense psychological series. I live for the moments where the tones shift into that disturbing take. MAPPA has been doing those transitions so fucking well. The characters are very well written, and the plot line is fucking intense and hooks you in from that start. I literally can not fucking wait for each episode. Also, Rune is Best Fucking Girl. Fuck You. Fight Me.
Ballroom e Youkoso: Production I.G.
Easily one of my favorites this season, and we are barely a fourth of the way into it, which makes me so fucking happy. I never thought I’d care about a series about Ballroom Dancing; hell, I thought I’d seen it all, but damn, this series is taking me on a ride. There isn’t a thing I don’t like about this series. Everything is done beautifully to actually fit the series. If you are looking for something to watch this season, please watch this. I could honestly see this becoming as big as Yuri on Ice is.
Jigoku Shojo: Studio Deen
Hi, it’s been years since I had my season three, but I’m back, and better than ever before. Fuck, I’ve missed Hell Girl so fucking much. You never truly realize how much you love a show until they gift it with a random season years later. Every. Fucking. Episode. Has. Been. Amazing. I fucking love it. I’m still not over those first two episodes. This is one of the few shows this season where I must watch it the moment it’s available. I can’t wait for the rest of the season.
Owarimonogatari Part II: Studio Shaft
I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING!!
I want to call this season a masterpiece, but even that doesn’t feel like a strong enough word. The opening scene with Mayoi-chan literally made me weep tears of joy. Japan did the most wonderful thing by making a two day special. I don’t know what I like best about this season: Mayoi, Kiss-Shot, Ononoki, or freaking Hanekawa, or even Araragi. I know it’s not the end of the series since there’s still Part Three of Owarimonogatari, as well as several other novels yet to be adapted, but fuck, this season cleared up so many plot lines. I need more. Thank you Shaft for proving why you are the best. Needless to say, not only is this the best thing of the season/year, this is also one of the best things ever created; it’s also currently tied with Kimi no Na Wa for the top spot on MAL, and trust me it’s well deserved.
Boku no Hero Academia: Studio Bones
Boku no Fucking Hero Academia is still fucking killing it. Stain was hype. The art and animation look fucking amazing, and hell, even the filler episode was wonderful. WHY ARE YOU NOT WATCHING THIS??!?!?!?!
So anyways, that is my mid season thoughts of the series I am watching. Please keep in mind these are merely my thoughts, and I am not watching everything this season, so if there’s something that I’ve missed, or something that I should be watching, please let me know. Also, tell me some of your thoughts for this season.
