The Last Third Of The Night
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Prophet ﷺ said:
The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says, "Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek my forgiveness, that I may forgive him?

One of the deepest human needs is the need to be seen. To be seen in our pain and in our struggle and to be seen in our relief and in our joy. And usually we reserve these moments for those closest to us because we know they will try their best to hold space for us.
So imagine when The Creator and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth, tells us He sees us, He witnesses all of us, with all of our complexity and all of our emotions, how validating and comforting this is.
You are not alone in your pain and struggle and you are witnessed in your relief and joy. You are held under the sight of A Most Caring Creator, He knows the innermost yearnings of your heart. He knows when no one else knows and understands when others can't.

This is just a rant here. I might delete this later.
I was scrolling through reels and I found this amazing reel about how women are allowed, even obligated to kill their rapists in Islam (you are doing amazing sweetie) and I was like that's so cool and continued to scroll through some more Islam reels. All of them amazing, the aesthetics, the creativity, the positivity, the information *chef's kiss*.
And I though, hey! I wanna see some hindu reels too. You know what I found?? Two kinda accounts. Both kinds spread hate. One calls Hindus disgusting and the other is that typical Hindutva drivel and guys??
I'm sick of it. Completely, totally, utterly sick. So instead of yelling at the bafoons, I have decided to make a blog. A proper one with my own domain and all that. It will be a lifestyle blog tbh but damn sure I'll be writing about my religion.
All of you can rest assured I will not shy away from the ugly parts but I will flip the mindset behind it and bring about the change I wanna see.
(I mean it makes sense that instead of completely cancelling certain rituals, we re- purpose it for the modern day??)
So there, I announced it. A blog is coming up and you guys are the target audience. I hope I have hindublr's full support in this but if not, imma do it anyway.
🙏🏼
Ps: I created a new tag (hindublr). Gatekeep it from hindutva peeps or I'm going to be arrested for aggravated assault I swear.
Taglist:
@arachneofthoughts @allegoriesinmediasres @buckylokisimp @chashniii @chaoticaindica @desidarkacademichoe @desi-deadpoet @ginazmemeoir @inexhaustible-sources-of-magic @lil-stark @ramayantika @suvarnarekha @thestral-queen-rules @thebonecarver @xxmaysa
Your opinions matter to me so hit me with it. I recognise this is a sore topic for many but we can't tip toe around this anymore, so for once, I will excuse rudeness.
