Allah WARNS against being on the wrong side.

Allah ﷻ says:

يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا إِن تُطيعُوا الَّذينَ كَفَروا يَرُدّوكُم عَلى أَعقابِكُم فَتَنقَلِبوا خاسِرينَ

O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will make you turn back from your faith, and you will [then] become losers.

How does one obey the disbelievers?

If we give up, submit, and surrender to the western narrative that the Palestinian people are, in fact, the criminals, and that the murderous state of Israel is only defending itself, then we risk our faith. We will lose our Islam, because we become cowards siding with falsehood, and as a result, we become losers.

In the next ayah, Allah encourages the believers to stand firm upon the truth. He ﷻ says:

بَلِ اللَّهُ مَولاكُم وَهُوَ خَيرُ النّاصِرينَ

But Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers. (Surat Aal-Imran:150)

We will have Allah's support and protection as long as we stand upon the truth.

It was narrated by Aishah radi Allahu anha that Rasulullah salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said to her:

🌺 ❛O Aishah, beware of [evil] deeds that are regarded as insignificant, for they have a pursuer from Allah (i.e. accountability).❜ 【Sunan Ibn Majah 4243 | Graded Sahih】

So beware of the tricks of shaytan. Shaytan tries to make a one time error into a sinful habit. Or tries to make a minor sin into a major one. Or tries to take a major sin and turns it into disbelief and despair.

As Ramadan is fast approaching, let us ask ourselves: How is the state of my imaan right now? How is my taqwa? What do I utilise my time with the most? Is there something about myself that I need to work on?

Blessed are the ones who rectify themselves before the coming of Ramadan.

❛Beware of falling into mean, hurtful speech — the effect it has on [people’s] hearts is the effect of deadly arrows. It splits up a married couple, tears down a relationship between two relatives, and spoils the love and friendship between two partners.

Mean, hurtful speech isn’t a sign of a person’s bravery or a speaker’s frankness. Rather, it is clear proof of his weak intellect and poor character.
