I really find it interesting how Zionists have no issues constantly using words like "Islamic" or "Islamist" or "jihadist" to describe the people they're killing without any fear of being accused of Islamophobia or that they're being bigots.
Because they know that we live in a world where anything or anyone remotely "Muslim" are automatically portrayed as inherently evil and deserving of death, especially in the US and other Western countries where Israel gets most of its support from them. So therefore, no one can be mad at them for killing all of these people, right? After all, they're only killing scary radical "Islamists" and "jihadists," NOT innocent people.
Meanwhile you would never hear any pro-Palestine people calling IDF soldiers "Jewists" or "Jewish extremists," even when they're literally branding the star of David onto Palestinians' faces and houses, instead we have to be very careful to not associate Judaism with Israel's crimes and are obligated to write a long essay about how we in fact do NOT want to kill every Jew in the world before we're allowed to show a shred of sympathy toward the thousands of Palestinian civilians being murdered as we are speaking.
Yet somehow that's not enough and they still hit us with the "when you say Zionists you actually mean Jews!" all while ignoring how they themselves aren't putting any effort into not demonizing Islam and Muslims with their words, because demonizing Islam and Muslims isn't an issue to them and the only way they can justify all the killing they're doing.

In light of the recent change in argumentation in Russia's war against the Ukraine (from denazification to 'desatanisation') , I would like to clarify one thing:
I can't talk about Christianity but in Islam "family values", "traditional values" or "family honour" are secondary matters. They are not considered to be very important or even helpful on judgement day.
There is an odd perception amongst many muslims, that family comes first and stands above everything, yet that stance is considered somewhat disadvantageous in Islam. What comes first, is a believer's individual decisionmaking and their own relationship towards God.
The same goes for "traditional values". Traditions and traditional values often have a somewhat negative connotation in Qur'an. Respecting family and treating them lovingly is highly encouraged in Islam, living by the standards of the family and ancestors, though, is actually disdained.
So, whenever you hear religious leaders claim, they would be on the "good side" because they support family values or "traditional" values - take it with a grain of salt, because they might even invert actual islamic theology. First and foremost in Islam comes one's own individual decision-making and behaviour, not traditions or family matters.

Oh, you can't conceive of a critique of religion where the solution isn't that "all religion must be abolished"? Skill issue.

Imagine if Machete was Muslim instead of Catholic. His name would be something like Saif سيف, and Vasco would probably be something like Dhahabi ذَهَبِيّ

you know, i can handle a little bit of fun "Nandor is dumb" talk, but i have a net-zero tolerance for any implication that Nandor is not educated.
Nandor would have been incredibly educated in his lifetime.
even (or especially) as a soldier in the Islamic World. being a soldier was more like getting sent to boarding school that's also a military camp. they weren't just concerned with creating loyal fodder for war. they were building the next government officials, generals, accountants, advisors, etc. it was important that young men knew how to read, write, speak multiple languages, learn philosophy...sometimes even studying art and music was mandatory.
if he was nobility (and its most likely he was), take all that shit and multiply it exponentially. Nandor would have been reading Plato at the same age most people are still potty training. he would have been specifically groomed in such a way to not be just a brilliant strategist and warrior, but also diplomate and ambassador of literally the center of scientific and cultural excellence of the age.
so like yeah, he can be a big dummy sometimes, sure. but that bitch is probably more educated than any of us will ever be.

Okay, serious question.
What's the deal with purity in most abrahamic religions, especially christianity? This isn't me making fun of these people; if abstinence helps you feel closer to God, so whatever you want! But I'm just confused as to why it's a thing?
My original theory is because pregnancy was very dangerous back then (still is) and since lust can lead to sex which can lead to pregnany, they made it a sin so people wouldn't die brutal and painful deaths. But that's just my theory, and I can't find much other than it "taking away from God." But Adam and Eve were litterally made have sex and populate the Earth, which seems counterproductive. So, why is lust a sin?

7 tips in getting closer to Allah SWT
read the Qur'an everyday
reading the word of Allah and understanding what you are reading will make you feel close to Him as you know that this is not a Book that anyone has just written - it has come directly from Allah SWT. subhanallah. reading and understanding what He says will make you want to practise what the Qur'an says and, in turn, be closer to Him.
be around people who remember Allah
human beings have great influence on each other so it is important to have righteous people around you. their relationship with Allah SWT will inspire you to build and improve yours.
understand what you recite in salah
knowing what you are reciting will help you understand how many blessings you are gaining with just a single prayer. take time to learn the translation (if you do not speak/understand arabic) of what you are reciting and why.
learn Allah's 99 names and attributes
'And to Allah alone belong all perfect attributes; so call on Him by these' (7:181) Allah likes it when we call Him by his names and it is important to recognise and understand Him. think of Him as your friend: when you get to know someone better, you get closer to them. it is the same thing, in fact, better, with Allah SWT.
have secret good deeds between you and Allah
again, like having a friend, having something that is just between you and your Lord will make you feel closer to Him.
make lots of du'a - especially in sujood
having your dua's come true is the best feeling, especially when you have been praying for something for a long time, alhamdulillah. praying for anything, no matter how big or small, will make you feel closer to Him as you know that He alone will make everything okay and knows what is best for you.
remember death and prepare for it
this one can be very hard but it is important to remember that death can come at anytime so always try and do good deeds and live righteously in order to please Allah. when having this mindset that each day is a new chance to seek forgiveness and do good deeds, you will feel closer to Him by wanting Him to be happy with you.

Torn between living “normally” and investing my life to scholarly pursuits and immersing myself in worship. Which entails throwing my phone in the trash where it belongs. Oh ma gash. Living normally is painfully boring. Worship doesn’t feel like it hits the way I imagine it would if I was attempting to walk in the footsteps of Rabia Basri, But I don’t know how to throw my phone down the toilet where it belongs. Someone do it for me. Sob.
