Sviluppo economico e sostenibilità. La moda e il design dialogano per Milano. Oggi negli spazi di BASE, nell'ambito dell'evento 'Milano Circolare 2024', l'assessora allo Sviluppo economico con delega a Moda e Design Alessia Cappello ha incontrato in un inedito dialogo a tre la presidente del Salone del Mobile.Milano, Maria Porro, e il presidente della Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Carlo Capasa. Un'occasione unica per dialogare e confrontarsi sulle prospettive e sulle strategie di moda e design per promuovere pratiche sostenibili, ridurre gli sprechi e valorizzare il riciclo dei prodotti. "È la prima volta che le massime autorità di due settori come Moda e Design, tanto importanti per il Made in Italy e per Milano, si incontrano per condividere quanto stiano realizzando per integrare sempre più il concetto di sostenibilità ambientale e sociale e per promuovere le buone pratiche all'interno dei loro settori di riferimento - ha dichiarato l'assessora Cappello -. Sono convinta che fare rete e promuovere un continuo dialogo tra pubblico e privato sia la giusta chiave per raggiungere risultati concreti e per plasmare un futuro più responsabile e consapevole per la nostra città". "La moda italiana è impegnata sulla sostenibilità da diverso tempo, CNMI ha fondato infatti la sua prima commissione sostenibilità nel 2011. Contribuire a un uso responsabile delle risorse naturali è un impegno che la moda deve assumersi, sia attraverso iniziative dei singoli brand sia grazie a iniziative collettive coordinate da CNMI - aggiunge il presidente di CNMI Capasa -. La collaborazione con il Comune di Milano è in questo fondamentale, sono stato felice di aver partecipato a questo convegno sull'economia circolare che rappresenta oggi la sfida del momento ed un obiettivo futuro imprescindibile. Adottare pienamente questo modello richiede un lungo percorso ed un ripensamento totale delle realtà aziendali e dei settori collegati alla moda, la sinergia tra pubblico e privato è oggi più che mai fondamentale per il raggiungimento di obiettivi comuni". "La sostenibilità per FederlegnoArredo e per il Salone del Mobile. Milano è un lavoro di sistema, che coinvolge tutta la filiera, dai produttori di materia prima, ai grandi brand del design passando per piccoli laboratori di alto artigianato fino alle aziende che offrono servizi come noleggio e riparazione o le imprese addette al riciclo dei materiali, con un approccio olistico e obiettivi concreti e misurabili: un percorso intrapreso con l'ambizione di rendere la filiera del legno-arredo pioniera della Green Industry e voce autorevole sul tema in Europa - ha detto la presidente del Salone del Mobile Milano Porro -. Stiamo lavorando su tutti gli aspetti della produzione, dalla progettazione secondo i principi dell'eco design fino alle problematiche EPR del ciclo di vita del prodotto, migliorandone le performance ambientali. E, sempre in quest'ottica, il Salone del Mobile.Milano, dopo l'adesione al Global Compact delle Nazioni Unite, si è certificato come grande evento sostenibile nel 2023, ha stilato linee guida per la realizzazione di allestimenti green, promuovendo l'utilizzo di materiali riciclati e riciclabili per le proprie installazioni oltre a ridurre ove possibile lo spreco di materiali (ad esempio, rinunciando alla moquette nei corridoi) così come da anni ha facilitato e promosso la raccolta differenziata per un corretto smaltimento dei rifiuti. Di questi giorni, poi, è il rinnovo della Politica di Sostenibilità in linea con la certificazione ISO20121, che ci permette di acquisire sempre più consapevolezza nel nostro agire quotidiano ma anche nel costruire un dialogo ancora più costruttivo con tutti gli stakeholder coinvolti, tra cui anche il Comune di Milano coinvolto, con il Politecnico, nel progetto Ecosistema Salone per la creazione di un osservatorio permanente sulla settimana del design.
