Just discovered that Henna is also a jewish(israelite) thing and that the henna plant was in the torah and that it symbolizes forgiveness and absolution. I thought it was an arab thing and mizrahi jewish traditions but no its full jewish tradition and symbol!!
Tumblr media
Ngl it kinda makes me giddy inside to discover new(for me) native ancient jewish traditions that doesn't fall with the diaspora

People supporting Palestine/HAMAS, I have a question, well, a few for you.
You do realize HAMAS struck first correct? They attacked out of nowhere, massacring civilians at a music festival and taking hostages.
Sources: 1, 2, 3
Israel retaliated, they have only ever retaliated. Now, people all over the world are claiming Palestine are the victims. Yes, there are victims in Palestine. In war there are always victims. There are civilian lives lost, especially when the fighting is on your home soil.
But if someone came into my country without warning and slaughtered innocent people, took some hostage and left, would you expect me and my people to not retaliate? I damn well would retaliate. Don't try to play moral high ground.
And what happened to being so morally righteous? What happened to standing up against antisemitism? To never forgetting the horrors of WWII? Because all over the world now I've seen the most antisemitic rhetoric from people who once were so inclusive.
Don't pretend you care when someone wears a swastika if you are going to allow this antisemitism to fester and spread. Because you are doing exactly what the Nazis did.

Random Fact #6,493
"The god of Christians, Jews, and Muslims made only two genders" is not a sound claim even if we were to assume for the sake of argument that God exists and created genders.
Israelite society had several genders, not just two.
Ay’lonit [איילונית]
A person who is identified as “woman” at birth but develops “man” characteristics at puberty and is infertile.
There are 80 references to this gender in the Mishna and Talmud and 40 in the classical midrash and Jewish law codes.
Androgynos [אנדרוגינוס] (Ancient Israel, from at least 1st century CE to 16th century CE)
A person who has both “male” and “female” sexual characteristics.
There are 149 references to the gender in the Mishna and Talmud and a whopping 350 mentions in classical midrash and Jewish law codes.
Saris [סריס:] (Ancient Israel)
A person who is identified as a “man” at birth but develops “woman” characteristics at puberty and/or is lacking a penis.
A saris can be “naturally” a saris (saris hamah), or become one through human intervention (saris adam).
There are 156 references to this gender in mishna and the Talmud and 379 in classical midrash and Jewish law codes.
Tumtum [טומטום] (Ancient Israel)
A person whose sexual characteristics are indeterminate or obscured.
According to Maimonides’ Mishneh Torah, Mada, Avoda Zara, 12, 4 Tumtum is not a separate gender exactly, but rather a state of doubt about what gender a person is (kind of like a Schrödinger’s gender?).

The Old Testament tells how God ordered the Israelites to exterminate the Canaanites. Modern archaeological discoveries, however, paint a very different picture.

Israeli soldiers are running rampant in the occupied West Bank, torturing Palestinians for their own amusement, even going as far as sharing these disturbing acts on TikTok, where they seem to be competing. These Palestinian victims have never been charged with any crimes; they were simply detained because of their Palestinian identity.

"there was no such thing as israel before 1948"
Funny that ppl say that because there was. The kingdom of israel goes as far as 1050 BCE for comparison: the ROMAN EMPIRE was established around 600 BCE which means the kingdom of israel is older than the roman empire itself by 400 years.
In the past there were no such things as country or a state but people used different term like kingdoms, empires and even tribes(and cities)
So the kingdom of israel literally means the state of israel
In terms of the past. While "palestine" was a rename for the piece of land in 165 AD and it was given to the land, not the people, not the kingdom, not a tribe.
Not to confuse with the plishtim aka the philistines which weren't natives to the land and has no cultural or genetical connection to the "palestinians" of today
"israelis" are the citizens of israel- they are not only jews- while israelites is a name referring to the jews before the term "jew"- a person from judea- came to life.
So yes israel DID exist before 1948 :)

In case it was confusing.
I'd love to see the Zionoist in my notes defend this.
They will kill anyone who defends Arabs. Note the words. Not Palestinians. Arabs. They're targeting the world for their "right" to slaughter indiscriminately.
@chickenflavorednuggets
@abirbable
@settraone
You wanna defend this shit now? Or you wanna maybe learn that you're on the wrong side of fucking history?
I have a feeling you're gonna pull a defense outta your asses for this, and that's on you.
In seventy years people will say Nazi and Zion with the same disgust.
