MASTERLIST | MY PATREON
2011
It was a tradition between your friend group at this point.
For the last two years, you've been celebrating New Year's Eve at Jonny's place, all of you getting together to celebrate and reminisce about your memories together.
You loved your friends to pieces, your group wasn't exactly huge, but you've made a bond so special over the years that no one could easily break.
However, you surely had a different and deeper connection with your best friend, Harry.
You met Harry the first day of middle school, and ever since your first interaction you've been inseparable. As time passed and you got closer to Harry, you began noticing some changes in how you felt. His laughter made you feel happier, his support meant a lot more, and being around him felt different—like something special. Sometimes, you found yourself admiring him in a way that went beyond just being friends. You started to realize that your feelings for Harry were growing into something deeper than friendship, something you hadn't felt before. It was like a secret you kept in your heart, waiting for the right time to figure out what it meant and terrified that making a move would ruin your friendship.
"Hey! I was looking for you." Harry's voice interrupted your train of thought, making you move from the fireplace you've been standing for the last few minutes.
"I got cold outside, wanted to catch some warmth." you said, looking at your curly haired best friend.
"The countdown is about to begin," he let you know, "Let's go with the rest."
You followed him to where your friends were hanging out, sitting next to him.
"What's on your mind? You're really quiet."
You took a moment before replying, "Just thinking about how everything's going to be different next year, we're barely going to see you."
"What do you mean?" Harry asked, a frown appearing on his face.
"You know, the band is taking off and you're going to be so busy," a confused look took over his face, "Don't get me wrong, I'm so proud of you, we all are. I'm just going to miss all of us here together, at Jonny's place."
"Come on, none of that," he said as he noticed a pout making its way to your face, throwing his arm around your shoulders and pulling you to his side, "I'm always going to be around, you won't get rid of me that easily," you laughed at this, "Next year we're all going to be right here together and nothing's going to change."
And as the clock counted down the seconds till midnight you wished for one thing: I wish he doesn't forget about me
2013
"Hey, stranger."
"Hello to you too, miss"
Harry's voice echoed through the speakers of your car, making you laugh as you drove the streets of Holmes Chapel, heading to your favorite wine shop.
"Are you coming to Jonny's place for New Years or are you going to spend it with your famous friends." You joked, and even though you couldn't see him you knew he was rolling his eyes.
"Of course I am, that's every year," you smiled at his words, "Besides, I need to see you so I can tell you all about this girl I'm seeing," and just like that your smile quickly faded, and you were glad he couldn't see you because you could swear your face dropped along with your heart, "I'm super thrilled, we hit it off right away and I honestly can't wait for you to meet her."
You weren't sure how many seconds passed in silence from you,but soon enough you heard Harry's voice asking if you were still on the line.
"Yeah, just got distracted by the traffic," you lied, "I can't wait to hear all about it, I'm glad you're happy."
New Year's was days away but you already had your wish in mind: I wish to be the girl for him someday
2015
There was just one thing in your mind as you sat on the bar stool with a drink in your hand: this year sucked.
That year, Harry had a super busy time with lots of success. He kept in touch, but it wasn't like before, your talks became shorter, and you didn't hang out much. You understood he was busy, but it felt different, you missed him and the fact he didn't show up for New Year's hit hard
On top of that, the headline "Spotted: Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles Getting Handsy on a Yacht" was the first thing you read in the morning, and it hurt.
You weren't even celebrating at Jonny's place, which made the night even more depressing for you, your friends insisted on trying something different and celebrate at a rooftop bar instead.
Maybe you held on to nostalgia too much, but you missed the old days when everything was simpler and you had Harry next to you.
"Hey! Countdown is about to begin, what are you doing on your own?" Ellis, one of your closest friends, called for you making you hop off the stool and join them.
"Everyone has their wishes for the new year?" Jonny asked the group, and you knew exactly what was the only thing you were going to wish for: I wish things would to go back to how they were
2019
"Look who finally showed up!"
Jonny's voice made everyone turn their heads towards the door, where a cuddly looking Harry stood with a bottle of wine.
"Hello to you too, mate." Harry said, making his way toward his best friend and giving him a hug.
After letting go of Jonny, he locked eyes with you and wasted no time to pull you close and wrap you around his arms.
"I missed you," he mumbled against the crown of you head, where he placed a small kiss, "I'm sorry I haven't texted, you know how chaotic album releases are."
You smiled with a tingle of sadness, Harry had just released his second album 'Fine Line', one that he described as having sex and feeling sad and that mainly talked about his most recent breakup.
A breakup that you helped him get through even though your own heart was being obliquely broken by him once again. But at the end at the day, he was still your best friend and there was nothing in this world you wouldn't do for him.
"It's okay, you're here now." You let go of him and squeezed his arm one final time before joining the rest of your friends in cheerful conversation.
Like every year, the night flew by and before you knew it you were a few minutes away from midnight, so you took that as a cue to look for Harry who had been absent from the room due to his phone ringing.
"H? Are you done with your phone call?" you asked, getting close to him, "Is everything okay?"
"It was Camille," he said, turning to look at you and showing you a small smile, one that gave away his contentment about it, "She said she wants to talk in person, to work things out."
"Oh that's, that's good I guess." You tried your best to give him a fake smile.
"It's more than good, this is great!" his smile widened as he moved from his place and wrapped an arm around your shoulders to give you to where your friends were calling for both of you, "Never thought this year would end like this."
His words echoed in your head as you stood with your friends who counted down the seconds until midnight, and a single wish came to your mind: I wish loving him didn't hurt so much
2023
The familiar setting at Jonny's place made you feel comfortable and at ease, no matter how busy your lives had been that year, your friends would always show up to celebrate the new year together and that was something you deeply cherished
This year had been extra special, with every aspect of your life blossoming, but there was a certain thing that made 2023 a great year: your relationship with Harry.
You two had become even closer that you were before, you had always been best friends who shared everything but things felt different now.
Maybe it was the way you exchanged looks that lasted a bit too long, the accidental touches that sent shivers down your spine, or the things you both didn't say but felt.
You couldn't shake the feeling that maybe, just maybe, Harry finally felt something more too. But your intrusive thoughts, the fear of ruining your friendship and the amount of times you've been heartbroken over the years kept pushing these thoughts away every time they popped up.
"Praying to the God's above that Harry finally kisses you at midnight?" Ellis' voice almost made you jump on your spot on the couch, she plopped next to you with a beer on her hand and a cocky smile.
"Ellis! What are you on about!" you complained, making her roll her eyes.
"Come on! We all know that's what you wish for every birthday, and we've noticed that he can’t keep his hands off you tonight, walking in hand in hand and all."
It was your turn to roll your eyes, but you could feel your stomach twist at her words.
After a few more drinks and not so subtle teasing from your friends about you and Harry, you slipped away for a bit, needing a break from the noise. Soon enough Harry spotted you by the window, looking up at the stars.
"Hey," Harry said standing next to you, you smiled as you felt his arm wrap around your waist, "The countdown is about to begin."
"Let's go join them then." You moved from the window and tried to head towards the living room, but Harry's hand grabbing yours made you stop on your tracks.
"Actually," he avoided your eyes, focusing on the scenery outside for a moment, "I've been wanting to talk to you about something, I don't even know if this is the ideal time but-"
"Hey," you cut him off, finding his eyes and giving him a tender smile, "It's okay, you know you can tell me anything."
"I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, about this year and everything that changed, especially between us," he began, his voice soft yet determined, and your face full of confusion and anticipation.
"These past years have been a whirlwind," Harry continued, "But in all the chaos and changes, there's been one constant, You. And I've been blind to not recognize what that means."
Your breath caught in your throat and you could swear you felt your palms drench in sweat.
"I've wasted too much time not acknowledging it, not admitting it to myself and hurting you in the process," Harry spoke again, his voice laced with a tingle of sadness. "I cherish our friendship deeply, but I've come to understand that what I feel for you goes beyond just friendship. It's something deeper, something I've been too oblivious to see clearly for my own selfish reasons."
His words hung in the air, you could hardly believe what you were hearing, the words you'd secretly longed for so many years, spoken by the person who meant the world to you.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you, I've loved you for longer than I realized, and I don't want another year passing without telling you."
Tears welled up in your eyes and without a word, you wrapped your arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. It felt like the weight of the years of unspoken emotions was finally lifted, and in that moment, everything felt right.
"I love you too," you whispered, your voice filled with a all kinds of emotions. "I've always loved you, Harry."
From afar, you could hear the cheers and celebrations of a New Year, the clock had reached midnight and your friends already made their wishes.
And as you finally kissed the man you loved after he confessed that he loved you too, there was nothing else you'd rather wish for.

The tip tapping of fingers on keys echoed around the silent room. The occasional footfalls of people around her walking up and down. Picking up books to further aid their studying would slip past the music playing in her ears when they were loud enough.
Every time she would hear someone being a little too loud for the library they were in she would glance up and shoot a half-hearted glare their way.
They’d never see her but it was the thought that counted. A barely audible sigh escapes her as she brings a hand up to massage her cold fingertips into the throbbing skin at her temple.
Nervous nibbling was occupying her teeth and lips, chewing away the flesh and creating tender spots her tongue would soon soothe.
She’d been staring at the same empty document for two hours now. No more than two sentences she was able to come up with before she’d erase them in a fit of frustration.
Abandoned textbooks lay closed behind her laptop, she’d deemed them no use around thirty minutes in, but she couldn't bring herself to get up and search for better ones.
She was antsy, not able to focus on her assignment due in a week's time. Her brain was all fogged up, too many thoughts going through her mind and yet she's not able to focus on a single one.
The purge was tonight. March 21st. And it was currently 1pm.
Why did she even bother to come to the library in the first place? Was she hoping to distract herself even just a little bit before she had to hunker herself down in her dorm for twelve hours?
Maybe. Yes.
Was it working? Absolutely not.
She was too skittish. Overthinking everything that had the potential of happening later and things that have previously happened.
‘Someone's not going to come and try to kill me just because I forgot to return their pen that one time, right?’
The amusing, albeit a little dark, thought did make the corner of her lips twitch just the smallest amount.
Taking off her headphones after stopping her music, she closes down her laptop and starts to move it into her bag.
She spares a quick glance around the few tables next to hers as she stands with the library's books in her arms. Her eyes locked with a man sitting roughly two tables down. Slumped back in his seat.
Gojo Satoru. Bright white and fluffy hair paired with a set of dazzling blue eyes. The ones currently peeking over the tops of his round shades that had slid down his nose as he tucked his head down slightly.
Sitting in front of him and abstracting her view of Gojo only slightly is who she assumed was Geto Suguru. Two peas in a pod and never seen without the other. The long black and silky strands of hair tied up in a half up bun was a giveaway to who he was as well.
Both of them were originally from Tokyo, Japan. Coming over to America over five years ago. Or at least that's what she’s heard from around the place, not knowing them personally. They were the most popular boys in school when she had joined a little over a year ago and they still held the title strong.
She doesn’t think she's ever really interacted with them. At Least not on any kind of personal level. Sure, maybe from a few friends of friends or passing each other in the hallway and being polite to her upperclassmen, but nothing all that memorable.
Which is why this prolonged eye contact is sending a very noticeable shiver down her spine. The smallest twitch of a smirk on his face and she was breaking eye contact, gulping down the pooled saliva in her mouth as she turned around and hastily made her way in between the towering bookshelves.
Leaving the library after stacking the books she’d previously taken back on the shelves, she hastily makes her way down the long corridors. Keeping her head down, her hands clutched tight on the strap of her bag. She passes very few people in the hallway.
Even after pushing through the doors and trekking her way to the dorms at the end of the path, there were very few people loitering around outside. Some of the people she passed looked like they could be stoned, not that she could really blame them. Some looked a little too relaxed and happy and some were just trying to get to their destination as quickly as possible. Like her.
As the doors came into view, and then the stairs, she slowly began to relax, her fast pace lessening up. Successfully getting to the safest place she could for when the purge would start.
It was also a massive relief that her two good friends would be staying with her during the twelve hours of horror. Last time she was by herself there had been multiple scares throughout the night. Nothing too big but something she didn’t think she could handle alone again.
Reaching her door on the third floor she fiddles with her keys for a few seconds before her door clicks open and she pushes her way inside. Closing the door and locking it again for good measure.
It was 1:43 pm.
A few minutes after she had arrived back at her dorm did she realize she still needed to pick up some food items. Being a broke student meant she had essentially nothing in her cupboards or her fridge. And if she was ‘hosting for the purge’ this year, it meant she had to stock up at least a little bit.
‘Imagine trying to hide from a killer and your stomach growls, I think I would just die on the spot.’ She thinks, the smallest smile gracing her face. Humour is usually her way to cope in situations like these. It’s either that or panicking and she’d rather try to save that for the main event.
With a heavy sigh and hesitation weighing her limbs down, she slowly puts her shoes and jacket back on. She can make this quick. In and out. Easy peasy.
With a quick jump while shaking her limbs out to get rid of her last minute hesitation, she quickly opens her door and steps out before shutting it behind her. No going back now. Locking the door behind her, she starts making her way back down the stairs and out the doors, walking in the direction of the food store.
Her nerves were still playing up though, eyes darting this way and that as if trying to find a reason for her to panic. ‘It’s okay, the purge hasn’t started yet, all those things are still illegal.’ Is what she keeps telling herself while taking a deep breath. But the fact they won’t be in a few hours was still cause for some panic.
Arriving at the store, she wizzes around, collecting any good looking snack and throwing it in her basket before hastily paying and leaving. The heavy plastic carrier bag hanging from her fingers gave her reason to think she went a bit overboard.
Her quickened steps and accelerated breathing were all she could hear for a while. Her walk back to her dorm was supposed to be a quiet one, less and less people were loitering around meaning less and less noises to distract her.
Especially from the new set of footsteps that have appeared behind her.
As soon as her mind clocked the extra set of footsteps there, it went into overdrive. ‘Who is that? Are they following me? No, you're being delusional, they're just trying to get back home. But are they? They just appeared out of nowhere. Are they going to try and kidnap me? Rape me? Stuff me in a van? Drag me down a dark alleyway and murder me?’
Her mind was racing, steps quickening and breathing silenced under the new threat. ‘Oh god, what if they’re stalking me? Waiting until the purge starts to come and slaughter me? They’re going to kill me. They’re going to kill me. What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?’
And then they were gone.
It barely registered in her mind that the fast paced footsteps from behind her had vanished. A sharp breath escaped her before her head whipped around on a desperate whim. No one. Not a soul on the path behind her.
Her shoulders sank with relief and a watery laugh broke free from her trembling lips. ‘I’m losing my mind.’ She thought. Even though that feeling in her gut had faded, it never fully disappeared. Her racing heart never slowed and neither did her footsteps.
Y/n hurried back to her dorm, almost running through the doors and up the stairs to fumble with her keys and quickly burst in. Double checking she locked the door behind her, and then checking every other lock on her third story apartment. Only when she had made sure they were all secure could she finally relax.
Her body shivering and hands shaking from the after effects of adrenaline. Her breathing is still a little shaky as she pulls a bunch of pillows and blankets into her tiny living room. Pushing her chair and sofa away to make more space as she lays everything out as neat as she could, making the floor a comfy space for her and her two friends to crash for the purge.
She empties the snacks from out of the plastic bag and piles them in a nice little corner near the TV. A small stack of movies there for when they’re all waiting for the purge to start. Some cards in a pack were also placed there.
The three of them are wanting to be as quiet as possible while the purge is going on. Everything locked, curtains drawn, lights off, TV with no volume and only subtitles, quiet games to play in case they got bored, etc.
They weren’t taking any chances. It was doubtful anything would happen, since nothing really ever did in the dorms. No student here would go as far as murdering somebody, everyone mostly stayed inside, not wanting to risk anything. She only knew of a few people that have snuck out before to rob a few stores, or do some petty revenge like smashing someone's car without getting into trouble.
But overall, it was best to remain quiet. They didn’t want to get murdered because the TV was turned up too loudly and attracted some wrong attention.
It was 5:15 pm.
This is the time her friends arrived. Knocking some made up code on the slab of wood before messaging just for good measure that it was really them outside.
After unlocking the door and letting her two good friends inside her dorm she swiftly closes and locks it again. Relieved greetings transpire as well as nervous whispers about the purge and some small gossip of who they think would actually go out this year and who are likely to stay inside.
The three of them start to make their way around her dorm, closing all the curtains and double checking the locks on all the windows and doors. Especially the balcony and front door.
After they’ve secured the apartment, they turn off all the necessary lights, flicking on a few electrical lanterns and setting them up around the living room, but away from the windows. They’ve left one lantern in the bathroom and one in her bedroom, both turned off, just in case of emergencies.
The three of them settle in a spread out pile on the blankets she put down in the living room. Some snacks are passed around already and a movie is slotted into the TV, playing as background noise mostly while they talk.
Erica, a sassy but kind of dumb girl, with choppy shoulder length hair that had been bleached and dyed a light green. She's donned in a crop top and sweatpants, comfy.
Don, a friendly giant, very kind in nature but also a little muscly. He has short black hair and a sculpted jawline. He also came in sweatpants and a baggy white T-shirt, also comfy.
Her two very good, and only, friends here. They’re in a few of her classes and all regularly hang out together.
“So,” Erica begins after her mouthful of powdered donut. “Who do you think is going to actually purge tonight? Like, actually actually. My moneys on them two hotties in my class.” She finishes, wiggling her eyebrows..
Don hums around his half empty soda can. “Yeah, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did.”
Y/n pipes up, “Wait who?” sitting up against the sofa behind her, getting comfy like she's about to hear the gossip of a lifetime.
“Oh, Em, G! You haven’t heard of it? You’ve seriously been, like, living under a rock or something.” Erica says jokingly. Picking apart pieces of her donut and eating them.
Don perks up too. “Really? You haven't?” Y/n shakes her head in denial as Don shrugs. “I get it, it’s mostly stayed in our class, hasn’t spread much further than that.” He says before crawling forward and rummaging around for more snacks.
“So get a load of this right!” Erica sits up too after finishing her donut. Waving her hands excitedly as she tells her latest gossip. “You know them two really hot upperclassmen right?” She draws out her ‘really’ and waits patiently at the end of her sentence for the other girl's confirmation.
When she nods in slight confusion, Erica continues, “There were some major rumours in class that the two of them were late this one day because they were beating someone up. And I don't mean like a few slaps or hair pulling, I mean punches. You know?”
Y/n nods again, this time with furrowed brows and Erica continues, “At first, I didn’t believe it, obviously. But then, the two of them came into class and I swear there were blood stains on their clothes. Blood stains! Not to mention all the plasters and bandages all over their hands! I just had to believe it then! Wouldn’t you?”
After the end of her long rant she slumps back against the front of the sofa and mumbles incoherently to herself shaking her head while pouting.
Don, who had been listening silently, pipes up, “It was true, I was actually there for once.”
Y/n’s eyebrows raise in disbelief at what she had just heard. Fighting, here? She couldn’t help but to doubt it, if only just a little. Stuff like that has never happened here. Or at least while she had been here. It was just unheard of.
And for an attack so vicious to result in blood being drawn, then there must have been somewhat of a good reason for it. That was the conclusion she came to.
“I mean, there had to have been a good reason for it.” Y/n says, “They’re pretty nice people aren't they? It is Gojo and Geto were talking about here, right? They’re really popular here too.” Her eyes darted between her two friends, looking for more answers on this unexpected juicy gossip.
Erica sighs wistfully, “No, it got shut down pretty quick, which I guess is why so little people have heard about it. God, would I pay to see them fight though. Their muscles must have looked amazing.”
They stop talking about it after that, Don getting distracted by the snacks and whining about how she didn’t get his favourite. Erica smacking him with a few pillows and complaining how he’s getting in the way of her movie she was barely even watching.
Their playful banter did little to distract from her inner turmoil. A small shiver went down her spine again. The memory from earlier in the library resurfacing in her mind. Gojo staring her down, the creepy walk back from the shops and now learning the two had at the very least helped in injuring someone.
It could just be because it was purge day, but everything was beginning to creep her out and she was overthinking again. ‘What if he wants to attack me next? What if all of those things were connected and someone really was following me home? What if he wants to kill me? What if both of them want to kill me? Have I ever done anything to offend them? I haven’t, have I?’ She knew these were far fetched and ridiculous, but she couldn’t help but think of them anyway.
Her spiralling thoughts were halted when a stray pillow smacked her in the face. “Oops, haha, sorry.” Erica sheepishly apologized, bringing her hand up to smooth down Y/n’s ruffled hair. Don was laughing in the background.
Y/n was stunned for a few seconds before replying, “Oh, don’t worry. How about we put something else on? This movie is kind of boring.” crawling across the piles of pillows and blankets to reach the stack of movies.
This caught the other two’s attention, eagerly rushing to the stack as well to try and get first pick. Arguing for a few more minutes before settling on a movie they all loved. Snuggling back into their original positions.
This was how the next few hours went before the announcement appeared.
It was 6:59 pm.
At exactly 7 on the dot, the TV went black before turning blue, the government announcing the commencement of the purge. Big bold letters and ‘Emergency Broadcast System’ and ‘This is not a test’ were displayed on the screen.
They were all quiet as it played out. The mood quickly turned sombre.
“Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted.”
Don gulped.
“Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed.”
Erica huffed.
“Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours.”
Y/n shivered.
“Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7 am when The Purge concludes.”
She released a shaky breath. The announcement ends with “...A nation reborn.” before stopping. The screen turned black again.
No one moves or says anything. Each of them were frozen in an array of emotions. Fear being the most prominent.
The silence stretched on for minutes. Eerie in its wake, not even being able to hear other people in their dorm rooms like she normally would.
Eventually, after releasing another shaky breath and rearranging herself with trembling limbs, they all snap back into the present.
Don coughs and Erica shuffles awkwardly.
“Cards, anyone?” Y/n meekly speaks up. The other two nod as they sit in a small circle.
It was 7:36 pm.
This was when the first explosion of some kind was heard by them. Each of them froze in the middle of playing their mostly silent game of cards. The noise was distant, but the impact remained.
A scream from a few doors down echoed in the silent space.
They waited with baited breath for any follow up, but when nothing happened, they slowly relaxed. Each of them assumed it was the explosion that must have scared someone. Sometimes it’s better to think of the positive, rather than what that scream could have been for.
A few minutes later a siren bellows in the distance, a few car alarms wail.
Nothing too bad, but knowing that it could mean someone was being murdered out there didn’t give them any ease.
It was 8:02 pm.
This is when the banging starts. Y/n thinks it could be a few doors down again. Erica thinks it’s below them and Don thinks it’s above them.
Wherever it was, it was concerning.
Erica releases a small nervous chuckle. “Maybe someone is just having a good time?” A fake smile plastered on her face to try and mask her worry. Even she didn’t believe her little theory. Not during a time like this, during The Purge.
It was a few minutes later, after they had quietly resumed their game, that footsteps were heard.
Clacking down the hallway.
1, 2.
1, 2.
1, 2.
1, 2.
They were walking at a leisurely pace. Taking their time. Strolling down the hallway and getting closer and closer.
All three of them looked towards the door, as if someone were to burst in at any moment.
The footsteps slow before coming to a stop. Right outside her door.
The three of them hold their breath, bodies flinching when a light knock rings out into the open space.
Complete silence.
Another knock.
None of them had even noticed the earlier noises had stopped, too focused on the potential threat now right outside the door. Seemingly wanting someone to open up.
Three pairs of eyes dart between each other. Silent questions trying to push their way out without being heard. A few panicked half shrugs and furrowed brows with downturned lips later, another knock rings out.
This time it was a little louder.
Barely audible whisperings of ‘you go’, ‘no you’, ‘fuck no’, ‘who even is it?’ cut through the silence. No one wanted to ask the question. To even speak a hint of it lest it result in it coming true.
Eventually after a solid minute of panicked, almost silent, squabbling later. A frustrated and frightened Erica pushed herself up. Taking a very obvious deep breath. Eyes closed and silently mumbling to herself before taking a few steps over to the front door.
She tried to be as quiet as she could but each step sounded like it weighed a ton. Every creek and every wobble made to sound the loudest.
Very quietly bracing her hands upon the door, she leant up on her tiptoes. Peeking into the peephole positioned in the centre of the door.
The two left in the pile of blankets still. Not wanting to even breathe in fear of disturbing whatever was happening in front of them.
A sudden screech of pure panic and fear tore from Erica’s throat. Flailing before landing with a harsh thud on the floor beneath her. Scrambling backwards on her hands and feet, keeping her eyes on the door the entire time.
The two startle and immediately jump up, laboured breathing hindering their lungs from the sudden scare.
“What the fuck? Erica what happened? What was that?” Don frantically whispered. His eyes were also locked on the door.
Y/n also whispered to her, “Who was that? Erica?” her eyes locked onto her friend, not able to bring herself to look at the door yet.
“It was.. Oh god.. The peep..” Erica wheezed out. The fright took too much out of her with her frantic gasps for air.
A sudden bang echoed into the room. A few more followed before they all realized it was coming from the front door.
Erica screeched and threw herself back into a standing position, rushing for the kitchen and grabbing any sharp knife her eyes first laid on.
Don stood frozen in fear. Not able to move or barely breathe from the looks of it.
Y/n wasn’t any better herself. Downright terrified. This was her dorm. Her dorm. Which means whoever was outside, was looking for her.
The banging persisted, the person on the other side seemingly determined to get in. This proved correct when the handle started turning whichever way it could.
She didn’t even realize, terror clouding her senses because when she looked back to her two friends, Don had collapsed into himself, wheezing with little air entering his lungs amidst his panic. Erica was cornered in the kitchen, sobbing, tears flooding her cheeks and ruining her mascara she had in place.
The persistent banging stopped for a second. The faint sound of another pair of footsteps approached from the hallway outside. Muffled talking pursued but it was hard to make anything out, between her pounding heart, Erica’s sobs and the slab of wood in the way, didn’t make for easy hearing.
For Y/n, it seemed there was one second of complete silence. No sobbing, no voices, no distant alarms or explosions, no racing heart, no wheezing lungs. Before chaos sprung onto them.
Suddenly the people outside, because there was another person now, resumed banging on the door. But it didn’t seem like they were ‘just knocking’ anymore. No.
They were trying to break the door down.
She could see it from the way the door groaned and creaked under the relentless kicking. She couldn't quite tell if they were using their feet, or an object, or whatever.
All that mattered was that they were trying to get in. And they were going to succeed.
“Move! Hide! We need to hide!” She whisper-yelled. Rushing to Don and tugging on his arm to try and get him to move. He stared at her for a few seconds before his brain caught up, registering what was happening around him. The real danger he was in right now.
“Hide.. Oh god..” He panted, sprinting for the bathroom, the first place his eyes had landed on.
With Don now searching for a place to hide, she ran her way to Erica. Still trying to be as quiet as she could, in the little hopes that they would think she wasn’t here.
“Erica, we need to hide! They’re getting in!” She frantically whispered to her hyperventilating friend. Trying to shake her shoulders, even resorting to lightly slapping her face to try and get her attention. She was desperate.
“Please!” The sound of splintering caught both of their attention. Heads whipping towards the door starting to cave. She wasn’t all that surprised, that slab of wood was a shitty excuse for a door anyway.
Erica suddenly sprung up and dove for the piles of blankets in the living room. Trying to bury herself amongst them, taking the knife with her.
And now that all her friends had been taken care of, she ran for her bedroom. Trying her best not to stumble and fall in the dark hallway.
As soon as her door came into sight, she gently opened it, gunning for her wardrobe tucked into the corner of the room. Not even looking towards the turned off lantern, she didn’t need them knowing her hiding spot from something so obvious.
It was already messy anyway, so in her frazzled brain she didn’t bother caring where she tossed piles of clothes and shoes in her room.. They’d hopefully think it was like that in the first place.
After quickly clearing a space big enough for her to curl into, she did just that. Situating herself just right, back pressed against the side of the wardrobe, knees tucked to her chest and pressed against the boxes in front of her. She was sitting on old shirts she hadn’t seen for months.
Hearing the door breaking even further, she grabbed any clothes within her reach and threw them over herself. Shutting the door when she was mostly covered, she could have sworn she could hear laughter coming from the hallway.
A loud crash and splintering tore through the air. She knew it was her front door. And now they were inside.
Her hands slowly went up to cup around her mouth, trying to muffle her breathing as much as she could. Her body froze. Even when she already began to feel muscle cramps settling in, she dared not move. She forced herself to breathe slowly. Every inhale a struggle along with a reminder that she was still alive at this very moment. Even if she was convinced she wouldn’t be for much longer.
The thought brought tears to her eyes. The original shock wears from her body and settles into something akin to despair.
Her throat started clamping up, muscles seizing and throbbing with the need to cry.
It was the thudding of footsteps that shook her out of it. Snapping her half way back into a nightmarish reality.
She gulped. Closing her eyes and straining her ears for any information they were willing to receive.
Just as she thought. Two pairs of footsteps.
With every thud of a shoe or a spike in their muffled talking, her body would tremble.
It remained like this for a few more minutes. The footsteps or talking occasionally pausing.
It was during one of these silences, where a different sound was heard. She couldn’t identify the exact sounds, just ones of commotion. They were still all muffled. And then she heard muffled yelling.
It sounded so dulled, between the walls and layers of wood and clothes, she could barely make out anything, her ears straining for any hint as to what was happening. Being left in the dark like this, literally and figuratively, was terrifying her.
And then this horrible, awful noise carried its way between the cracks in the wardrobe. Crunching. Cracking. Stomps.
That muffled yelling from before kept getting cut off. Eventually dwindling down into a barely audible groan. Those thuds never seemed to stop either. Never ending, crunching, cracking, and now wet thuds.
Her brain was trying its hardest to process, to catch up with the information that it has been provided with.
More footsteps, only one pair, accompanied with muffled laughter. And a more distinct sound traveling through the air.
A scream.
Even more laughter, hurried footsteps and pleas of ‘no’, ‘please’, ‘don’ts’.
It was now, with the wet stomps still in the background, her screeching friend, that eager laugh, that her brain had finally caught up.
She was going to be sick.
They’re hurting them. Killing them.
Her friends.
Her body moved out of its own violation. Shaky hands and feet kicking and pushing their way out of the pile of clothes. Wardrobe door swinging open with a creak.
She collapsed out of it. Slumped on the floor, dry heaving. Her lungs not seeming to take enough air in but yet holding in too much. She couldn’t function. Fear overwhelmed every part of her. As well as grief.
Her ears were ringing and she was left gasping, drool dripping onto the hard floor beneath her as a result of her attempted vomiting. Eyes wide open, blurry when she tapped back into her mind.
Tears, clouding her vision and dripping audibly on the floorboards below her.
In the distance she could hear muffled talking. Two men, she could make out more clearly. Not only that, but squelching, wet, gooey noises seemed to mingle in the air. Gurgling was the next before silence.
A minute passed, maybe two before the footsteps started up again. Those goddamn footsteps.
1.. 2.
1.. 2.
1.. 2.
But they were slower than before. Steady. Taking their time.
And getting closer.
Her instincts kick in, blinking profusely to try and clear her eyes from the tears, looking up and darting around before landing on the space under her bed.
She wouldn’t have enough time to fix her spot back in the wardrobe. She couldn’t run past them, not even in her best state which she certainly wasn’t in right now. She had considered her bedroom window as an option, but it was locked, which would take time to open. Not even mentioning the fact she was on the third floor, so jumping out would break at least something important. They would be quick to notice as well, and if they came for her, it was likely they would decide to chase her down.
Under her bed seemed to be her best option at the moment, and she was running out of time. Scrambling as quietly as she could, she slid herself directly under her bed, trying to center herself in the middle of it, tucking herself into a tight ball.
The footsteps stopped right outside her bedroom door, she had enough sense to shut it on her way in, thank god. But that clearly wouldn’t be enough to stop them.
Almost as if the person was teasing her, they slowly clicked the door open. The distinct creak she had grown accustomed to over the months making itself known.
Her muscles are tense, tightening in the presence of her predators.
In the dark space from under her bed and in her room, it was obvious when the light from inside the hallway started spilling in the more the door got pushed open. In the vague depths of her mind it registered that they must’ve either turned the hall lights on, had taken one of her lanterns,  or were carrying one of their own.
Her lungs were burning with the effort to keep her body running with the little air she was allowing them to have, all for the sake of trying to keep quiet.
It was all too silent once again, only for a second or two before the second pair of footsteps came towards her. A lot more hasty compared to the other ones.
Her breath silently hitched, the new person pushed their way into the room, stepping past their company before a thunk was heard. The sound forced her body to startle, jolting her muscles and kick starting her trembling again. An uncontrollable reaction to the fear she was under, the unrelenting motions causing a deep ache in her ribs.
The sound of rustling was now heard. It seemed they were looking for something. ‘They’re going to kill me. They’re digging around for a weapon to stab me with, to bash my head in, to murder me like they did my friends. I’m dead. I’m dead, I’mdeadI’mdeadI’mdead-’
Her racing thoughts consuming her fear riddled mind failed in picking up the sound of the other pair of footsteps slowly creeping round to the end of her bed.
The person paused, silently crouching down low before a pair of hands reached under.
The sudden tight grip on her ankles followed up by the sudden pull had her screeching. Pure terror flooding her veins. She had been yanked out from under her bed, lying sprawled on the floor and gazing up at the towering man stationed above her.
Her lungs burned, seizing up before a sickening scream escaped her. Fuelled by genuine, unrestrained horror.
They had found her.
One of her lanterns they had brought in illuminated his face in a haunting light. The darkened shadows stretching and contorting behind him to create the most grim image for her mind to paint. Not that it was far off.
A foot standing on either side of her hips, straddling her if it wasn’t for his standing position. Hands nestled comfortably back in his trouser pockets now they had done the job of retrieving her. A comfortable looking long-sleeved shirt adorned his figure. Dark splatters starting from the bottom of his shoes and creeping their way up his legs, tapering off into a few spots that painted one of his cheeks.
An easy smile softly ingrained on his face, followed by gentle looking eyes peering down at her if it wasn’t for the malicious spiral she found herself paralyzed in. Dark locks of hair extended down his back, past where she could see from her position, with the top layers sectioned off and tied back into a bun.
His mouth opened and he spoke. “Well, well. Look what I’ve caught for us Satoru.”
Satoru. The other man must be Satoru Gojo, and this was Suguru. Suguru Geto. The most popular guys she knew, the supposedly kindest. And then staring in the library, the walk back from the shops, the gossip her most likely dead friend had told her.
Her body suddenly felt like it was pumped full of adrenaline. Pushing herself up as fast as she could, using the bed as support all the while stumbling over her numb riddled legs. She took off, running towards the open door she so desperately wanted to pass through.
A sudden arm snatched her from around her waist and she screeched. Pure instinct driving her at this point as she scratched and kicked and flailed in his, Satoru Gojo’s, hold.
The sound of something dropping before his other arm came round, collecting both her wrists in one hand of his. His grip tightened the more she fought. Her body pressed tight against his, her back to his front. His head situated itself on her shoulder, tucking over and pressing his cheek to hers even while she cried and panted and kicked.
She could feel his grin pressing against the side of her face. “Such a pretty little thing we have here. Can’t let her get away so easily now, can we? Not after all the trouble we’ve gone through.” The last part practically whispered into her ear as she turned her face as far away as possible from him.
A little laugh boasted out from Geto. “Of course not.” He strolled over to them, bending down to pick up what Gojo had dropped in order to restrain her.
Rope.
Fucking rope.
The moment her eyes zoned in and processed what Geto was unravelling in his hands she tried to fight back even harder. Eyes flooding with tears that spilled down her cheeks. Short mumblings of ‘no’ being repeated over and over while becoming louder until she was yelling.
“Please don’t do this! Let me go! Please, please.. Stop!” She shrieked while sobbing, convinced they were going to kill her or torture her or something horrible like that.
Gojo walked the two of them to the edge of her bed before forcefully pushing her down, manhandling her onto her front and bending her arms to rest pressing against her back.
She sobbed into her ruffled sheets as she felt Geto fastening the rope tight around her wrists, the rough material digging into and pinching the sensitive skin. Raw and red marks already forming amidst her struggle.
Her legs still hung off the bed, trying their best to kick and hopefully injure one or both of them, but she knew it was a losing battle. None of her landing blows made them falter in any way.
When her wrists were successfully restrained Geto kept them pressed to the small of her back while Gojo let go and reached down to grab her ankles. Pulling them up and bending her legs at the knees while they both worked in finishing the task of tying her up.
When they finally stepped back to admire the work they’d successfully done, Y/n deflated. Tears soaking into her bed in which she rested on top of. Her lungs still burned, having never stopped. The hogtied position she had been forced into leaving her nothing to work with in terms of escaping. Not that she could think clearly anyway. The distress she was under proved too much.
“Oh, Shh Sh Sh… There, there, sweet thing. Settle down for us now. We aren’t going to kill you.” Cooed, who she could only guess right now was Gojo.
Geto reached forward from his position of kneeling on the bed, gentle soothing pets stroking her hair. Her sobbing tapering off into hiccupped breathing even while flinching with every touch. “There you go, good girl. See that wasn’t so hard now, was it?”
He pulled away from her, stepping down off the bed and heading towards the previously discarded bag on the floor Y/n hadn’t noticed before..
Y/n slowly turned her head round, no longer pressed into her sheets. Her eyes were red and bloodshot, swollen from all the crying she’d been doing. Little hiccups and groans left her while her lungs tried to recover. She’d given up struggling right now, it had done nothing but cause her pain as the rope dug and squeezed the skin of her wrists and ankles.
Gojo piped up from behind her, only now feeling the heat from his legs pressing into hers causing her to flinch. “You know, this would’ve gone a whole lot easier if you had just let us in sweetheart.” She could practically hear the smug smile in his voice. “Look at where you are now, tied up all pretty for us. Ripe for the taking.” He pressed closer to her at that, voice practically dripping with need.
She whined in fear and started squirming at his words. Panic flooding her senses again for just a second before a sharp tug to her hair had her yelping, halting her movements.
“I thought I told you to quit that.” Geto was back to kneeling on the bed in front of her, his hand gripping tight onto her hair, eyes narrowed.
Her bottom lip trembled, breaths picking up with every second he glared down at her.
“Don’t be so mean, Sugu.” Gojo said, a teasing lilt in his voice.
Geto glanced back at him before humming and letting go of his harsh grip, her scalp burning in turn. “I suppose you’re right. She’ll have plenty of time to learn when we take her back home.”
Gojo hummed and she felt him leaning away from her, hearing him crouch down and fiddle with something from the bag as well.
“Back home?..” She stuttered, voice hoarse and throat dry.
Geto looked back down at her, amusement painting his face. “Yes. Home.”
“Where..” She started, face formed in a twist of concern and confusion. “Please.. I.. Just let me go. I won’t- I won’t tell anyone, I’ll- I’ll leave you alone, I’ll do anything, please..” She gasped out, tears gathered freshly in her eyes again, voice cracking every few seconds.
An amused eyebrow raised with the hint of a smirk at the corner of his mouth was all she got as a response.
Gojo had come back, reaching round and fastening a strip of duct tape around her mouth in a sudden flurry of movement. Giving her no time to process what he had done until after he had done it.
She cried out, the sound muffled thanks to the tape, worried eyes darting around in panic as she tried squirming again for the third time.
Gojo pressed up behind her once again. “You’re not going anywhere, sweet pea! You’re ours now. We’ve had you picked out for a long time now.” The joy in his voice didn’t fail to put her on edge, his words doing their part in helping the tears gathered in her waterline to finally spill down her cheeks. Wetting the tape situated over her lips.
“He’s right.” Geto replied. Bringing one of his hands up to show what he had collected from the bag a few moments ago. The mobile phone in his hands glowed brightly in the dark room, the lamp from before having been moved, the light now dim.
“We’ll bring you back with us soon enough, but we still have a few more hours to kill before that. And why waste them.” Gojo said, the grin in his voice unsettling her, keeping her frozen in fear.
An easy smile pulled at Geto’s cheeks at that, head tilting to the side to gaze down at their pretty prey.
“Well what are you waiting for then, Satoru?”
A pause. Smile pulling into a predatory grin.
“Have at it.”

Heeey! idk if your requests are open or not— but if it is, I would like to request a Miguel x fem!reader fic! (Friends to lovers-??)
The reader comes back home after hanging out with her friends. She felt a little down after the hangout as one of her friends said something which did affect her a little, the friend was making flirty remarks about Miguel despite them knowing that the reader likes Miguel— thinking about it over and over again made the reader get even more sadder by the minute. The reader tries to brush it off and distract herself with some chores around the house as she last left it messy, next thing the reader knew was that miguel was tapping on the window asking her to let him in as it was pouring outside-
And maybe you could continue it however you like!

You were in the middle of cleaning up baby vomit before your shift ended, your nose scrunching up the more you smelt the disgusting combination of fish and milk when your phone pinged, alerting you of a new message. It was your friends texting in the group chat about meeting up for coffee later, and you really wanted to say no. Not only had the baby vomited all over its high chair but you had the pleasure of being the first recipient when you came to bring the family napkins, so you really just wanted to get home and take a bath to relax. After a couple of minutes of deliberation, you decided to text them that you'd be there in around an hour since you were afraid they'd stop inviting you to things with how often you ended up flaking.
Your feet dragged across the pavement as the stench of fish penetrated into your hair, the small chunks still hanging to the strands for dear life. You'd tried to wipe them off but your boss ordered you to get back to work, that you could take care of your personal hygiene at home. You felt angry at how dismissive your boss had been and at how shitty other customers had been today but you felt powerless, knowing that you couldn't really do anything about it. To make matters worse, it started to drizzle just when you were about to get home, your work uniform ending up wet once you stepped inside your apartment.
You gave yourself a little pep talk about how much you needed this night out as you washed the fish chunks out of your hair, almost gagging as they went down the drain. You quickly took a shower before the rain started to pick up even more, rinsing off the grime and sweat from the day. You got out of the shower a couple minutes later, haphazardly throwing clothes around while you tried to find something to wear. You wanted to cheer yourself up, to forget about the fish chunks in your hair and look like you had some aspects of your life put together.
You settled on a black skirt and a white tee with some Converse, not wanting to do too much for the coffee meetup but not wanting to appear like you just rolled out of bed. You assured your friends that you'd get there soon when you heard your phone ping once more, asking you how much longer it would take for you to get there. You glanced over at the clothes thrown on your floor and decided on fixing them when you got back home. You grabbed your umbrella and walked over to the subway station, feeling a sense of relief at finally being able to see your friends again. You could only hope that your friend, Jenn, didn't take her little sister, Krystal though.
"You didn't bring Miguel?" Krystal asked once you showed up at the cafe, skipping over the pleasantries that your friends had given you. Krystal was a part of the group solely because Jenn had pleaded with you guys to let her hang out, that she didn't have any friends in the city. She was nicknamed as "the shark" by you and the other two friends in the group given the fact that she always found a way to 'coincidentally' have a crush on the same guys that you all did, and found ways to embarrass you guys in order to boost herself up. "I don't see why I'd bring Miguel if it's just us, though," you responded, trying to keep your tone light so you wouldn't ruin the afternoon. "But he's so fun to be around!" She gushed as you all walked to the table, her pupils practically turning into little hearts as she talked about him. "He doesn't even like you though," you mumbled loud enough for her to hear, but she decided to ignore your sly comment.
It was true, though. Whenever Miguel had the time, he would join you to hang out with your friends if he thought he was invited, but it was mostly just to hang out with you. He didn't interact much with your friends apart from asking basic questions such as how their day was going or stuff about their job. However, he expressed his dislike towards Krystal, that he thought she changed her personality to cater to men which he didn't find endearing. Even though you found her infatuation with Miguel to be a little weird, you never shared what he said since she could think that you're lying and get the group to turn against you.
The coffee date with your friends was going by smoothly, going from sharing work stories to sharing about your love lives. You had gone to the restroom to freshen up, coming back to Krystal talking about Miguel once more. You looked around, deciding to hide behind a pillar just to hear what she had to say freely. "I still don't get why you keep inviting just her to hang out, it'd be much better if Miguel was here," Krystal critiqued, taking an obnoxious sip of her coffee. "Probably because she's our friend?" One of your other friends replied, her tone a bit agitated. "But I mean, c'mon. I would be a much better fit for Miguel and it's not like she's gonna do anything about her crush."
The group went silent as you came back to the table, picking up your coffee cup. "So what'd I miss?" You asked, giving them a small smile as they started to spin some tale about how they were discussing where to meet up next. You knew that your friends wouldn't pick sides and it'd be wrong to ask them to do that, but the realization that they were okay with having Krystal speak that way about you just made your heart ache. The rest of the afternoon went by okay, the conversation wasn't flowing as easily as it used to but there wasn't a dull moment between you all.
Most of your friends left a couple minutes later, leaving you and your close friend, Jasmine, waiting for your respective taxis. You weren't sure how she knew that you were upset but she hugged you tightly, embracing you in a way that provided comfort and warmth. "Hey, don't worry about Krystal said. You know she's only going after Miguel because she knows you have a crush on him," she assured you, resting her hand on your shoulder. You nodded, mostly because you didn't want to be the cause for drama in the group and hugged her once her taxi arrived.
You headed back home feeling more defeated than when the afternoon began, though it was nice to have spent some time with your friends. The feeling of powerlessness kept looming over you like a dark cloud, reminders of how powerless you were at work and how powerless you were in your personal life. You let out an agitated sigh when you looked at the clothes scattered all throughout the floor, remembering how excited you'd been to go out with your friends. You decided not to prolong the task and started picking up the scattered skirts, taking small comfort in the sounds of the pouring rain outside.
You finished up with the task about half an hour later and you decided to mope around your apartment, watching Friday the 13th while eating ice cream. You couldn't help but feel Krystal’s words reiterating in your brain, that you were only so upset because you knew that she had a point. While you were hopelessly crushing on Miguel, you also didn't give him any signs since you didn't want to end your friendship with him. He'd been a great friend to you, he listened to your rants without saying anything unless you asked for his opinion and he was oddly sweet to you, a difference of how cold he was to everyone else around him.
You were in the middle of watching Jason stalk up on a victim when you heard tapping on your window, your heartbeat starting to race as you let out a scream. You turned to see Miguel laughing as he took off his Spider-Man mask off, waiting for you to open the window. You tried to swallow your sadness away as you stood up, opening up the window to let him in. "Hey there, Spider-Man. How'd patrol go?" You asked him once he stepped inside, giving him a small smile as you took in his appearance. He had a few scratches and a couple bruises, his suit was clinging to his wet body, but he seemed like he was excited to come here. "Can I ask why you screamed? But patrol was good, just a couple thugs to deal with," he asked, the corners of his lips tipping up in amusement. "I thought you were Jason Voorhees."
Miguel had come to your place after a fight with the Green Goblin of your universe one day, bloodied and injured, and had basically confirmed what you already suspected. After he saw how well you reacted to the information, he kept coming over after some of his missions and asking you to play nurse. He'd never admit it to you, but sometimes he looked forward just to getting hurt in order to have an excuse to see you. He started leaving some of his stuff over at your place, like a couple gadgets or a few spare clothes just so he could find more excuses to spend time with you.
"So tell me why there's a sex scene in a Friday the 13th movie? I mean who has Jason Voorhees chasing after them and decides, 'oh let's fuck', y'know?" He asked while you were cleaning up his cuts after he got out of the shower. You couldn't help but keep thinking about what Krystal had said, wondering if all Miguel would see you as is his nurse and his good friend. You were brought back to reality when Miguel snapped his fingers together to get your attention, your eyes shifting from the wound to the tv on the screen. "Well, one final bang and all that. Wonder how they disconnect the corpses," you mused with a small shrug, hoping that he wouldn't notice how detached you were from the situation.
He let out a small hiss as you wiped a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol across his cheeks, his brown eyes boring into yours. "What's wrong?" He asked, looking at you intently. You assured him that nothing was wrong and went back to cleaning his cuts, making stupid remarks about the movie but you could tell that he didn't want to leave the subject alone.
Once you were finished cleaning up his wounds, you made quick work to get off from the couch and excuse yourself to throw away the cotton ball. "Hey, how do you feel about going to the park and having an elote with me?" he asked, resting his hand on your knee when you sat down. (corn) You stared at him, dumbfounded as you felt the heat from his hand radiate all throughout your body. "Is the elotero there? I mean, it was raining pretty hard until a couple minutes ago," you answered after a couple seconds, trying to sound like your body wasn't tingling just from feeling his hand on your knee. "He'll be there. It's like 6, which means prime selling time."
"Don't you get chorro with all that?" You asked him, watching as he took a bite out of the elote drizzled with hot sauce and little pieces of cheese. (diarrhea) He burst out laughing, the sound a bit rough but it sounded like the tune of your favorite song. You loved hearing him laugh given that it was so rare for him to do that, he usually only gave a weak chuckle or an amused huff. "Are you jealous that you can't handle spice, chiquita?" he asked, looking over at you with a trail of hot sauce dripping down his chin. Your hands made quick action before you had a chance to think otherwise, wiping the sauce away with your finger. You quickly retracted your finger when you saw a tinge of red coating his tan cheeks, not wanting to make him uncomfortable or embarrassed.
You could tell that Miguel wanted to ask you again what was wrong, that he used the elote to make you feel better, but you didn't want to tell him out of of fear he might end up swinging away. "So how's it going with your AI assistant? LYLA, no?" You asked him, taking a bite out of your own elote. You knew that it was something that Miguel could spend hours and hours talking about given how much time and effort he spent on it. While you typically enjoyed the way his eyes lit up with any opportunity he got to share about what innovations or new software he'd developed for LYLA, you were using it to distract him away from the subject at hand. At least for a little while longer. "She's doing good, I managed to develop this software that makes her appear like a hologram. All in all, she should be done pretty soon," he responded, his look telling you that he knew what you were up to.
The two of you headed back to your place when it started to drizzle again, most people starting to run down the street to avoid getting wet. The walk back home was mostly quiet but you noticed that he walked close to you whenever someone rushed by, not wanting you to get trampled over. Once you two got back home, you lended him a towel to dry off his hair and you couldn't help but stare at his biceps as he did. You made quick work to change out of your moist clothes and put on one of the shirts Miguel had left behind before heading back over to the couch.
You'd made some popcorn and put some ice cream on the coffee table to fuel the movie night between you two. As you started the movie, you couldn't help but feel Miguel's gaze almost burning a hole into you. "What's up?" You asked, looking over at him after a bit of silence. "Tell me what's wrong, chaparra. You've been deflecting from the subject every time I ask and I just want to know what made you upset," he said, stroking your back lazily as the movie started. (shorty) You were in a turmoil now, unsure if you should tell him what made you so upset since you knew that in turn, you'd basically be admitting your feelings for him.
"I went out with my friends today and Krystal just said some stuff that upset me is all. Didn't help that I got thrown up on earlier in the day," you responded, trying to keep your response as broad as possible. He ceased his movements, looking at you sternly as his brows furrowed. "What'd Krystal say?" he asked, keeping his tone soft despite the look on his face. You fiddled with your hands, thinking about the best way to approach this before deciding to go out right and admit what you felt towards him.
"Well it kinda started off with her not even bothering to say hi to me when I arrived to hang out with the group, she just went ahead and asked me where you were and why I didn't bring you," you started off, watching him as he took in what you were saying. "Then she went ahead and started talking about how she had a crush on you, the usual as I'm sure you know. She then said that she'd be a better pick for you than me," you said, putting your head in your hands to avoid meeting his gaze. He placed his hand on your chin, tilting your face to look up at him as his gaze softened a bit. "Why would she say that she's better for me than you, though?"
That question impacted you more than you would've thought, given that it would be the thing that could possibly end your friendship with Miguel. "Because I have a crush on you. And I wasn't planning on doing anything about it or acting on it since i didn't want to ruin our friendship," you finally admitted, the words hanging in the air like dead weight. You took a moment to look at him, seeing no change in his expression as he took a deep breath. "Well that's where she's wrong, chiquita. She's not you and she'll never compare to you. Hell, I don't even like her," he responds, catching you off guard about how lenient he was being with this. "You're not mad that I like you? Romantically, I mean."
Miguel began tracing small circles on your back, letting out a breath as he looked at you. He looked troubled, like he wanted to admit something to you but was having issues piecing the words together. He cleared his throat, bringing his hand back on his lap before speaking once more. "I could never be mad at you for having feelings, you know that. I guess I have something to admit to you too. All the women that you've seen me talk to or take out on dates have just been a pathetic excuse to forget about the fact that I thought you only saw me as a friend. I ended up ghosting them because none of them could ever size up to you, none of them could make me laugh or smile, hell, none of them made me excited to wake up the same way that you do," he responds, the pitter-patter of your heart ringing in your ears as he speaks.
You never could've imagined that he felt the same way that you did, given how unlucky he was with women and the troubles that he brought from his past. "So.. What does that all mean?" You asked softly, trying to get the confirmation that you desperately needed. "Ay chaparrita, you're not making this easy for me, huh? I guess what i'm trying to say is that I like you romantically too. I have for a long time, but I've settled into the role of being your friend because I figured having you in my life as that would be better than not having you at all," he admits, sitting closer to you. He hangs his arm lazily off your shoulder, holding you close while the sounds of rain and the movie playing fill up the atmosphere.
After half an hour of watching the movie in silence, Miguel turns to face you with a cheeky grin on his face. "So while I can't do anything about the baby vomiting on you, how do you feel about getting back at Krystal?" He starts off, pausing the movie to capture your full attention. You turn around to face him, a bit surprised that he'd come up with an idea to get back at Krystal just because she'd made you upset. "What does this genius idea of yours entail?" You asked cautiously, not trying to give him the impression that you would be agreeing with it right away. "It's kinda stupid now that I do think about it, but what if we sent a picture of us kissing and shit? I feel like that would get her to shut up," he suggests, his hand tracing small circles on your knee.
You wanted to tell him no, that it was a stupid idea and that she'd end up telling all your friends but all your rationale went out the window when you thought about how she made you feel. How powerless you'd felt on the walk home and just how shitty you felt to be around her most of the time. "Alright, let's do it," you agreed after a couple seconds of deliberation, handing your phone to Miguel. He clicked on the camera, turning it on selfie mode before turning to face you. He brought one hand up to your cheek, cupping your face before leaning in to kiss you.
Your eyes fluttered shut as your lips connected, starting the kiss off slow. You didn't notice when Miguel took the picture, you were too focused on how good his lips felt against yours but you heard the click of the camera. He set your phone down on the coffee table, deepening the kiss after he did. The way his mouth moved against yours, his tongue exploring every crevice that he could felt like pure sin. It shouldn't be possible for someone to taste this good, but he managed to surpass every aspect of logic. You brought your hand up to his hair, intertwining your fingers in the soft curls at the nape of his neck while pulling him closer.
You don't know but you eventually moved to his lap, your legs on either side as the kiss continued. He placed his hands on your hips and you couldn't help but feel his erection through the soft material of your panties. You let out a soft groan into the kiss as you moved your hips against it, the tightening in his pants increasing. "Don't start things you can't finish, chiquita," he whispered after you two pulled away for some air, his pupils overtaken by the lust between you two. He went back to kissing you like you were the most potent drug and he couldn't get enough, his tongue battling against yours for some aspect of dominance. He let out a soft grunt as your fingers pulled at his hair gently, urging him to give you more of what he could.
The two of you decided to call it a night after that, both of you claiming that you had an early morning the next day. As you were cleaning up the empty popcorn bowl and the spoons which you ate the ice cream from, you heard your phone buzzing over and over again. You dried your hands once you finished, clicking on the notifications to see what happened in the group chat. Krystal had sent the picture of you and Miguel in there, expressing how sad she was that you would stoop down and be this petty towards her. You couldn't help but feel more and more guilty as you kept scrolling down the thread of messages, seeing your friends agreeing with her and even going so far as to console her for what you'd done.
You didn't feel like acknowledging the accusations that your friends were throwing around in the group chat, so you simply turned your phone off and went to bed where you found Miguel waiting. "Is everything okay?" He asked softly, watching the look on your face intently. "Yeah. Krystal just got really upset and sent the picture to the group chat so now the group's siding with her on the issue," you respond, laying down next to him. "I'm sorry if I messed things up with my idea. I didn't mean to make you more upset than you already were," he whispered, holding you close to him once you turned off the bedside lamp. "No, no. It was a good idea, I was tired of feeling so powerless in my life and being petty for once made me feel better. Thanks for that Miguel," you assured him, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
Though you weren't too sure of what you were now with Miguel, stuck in that limbo of being friends and something more, you didn't find it in you to question him at the moment. You liked having him hold you this way, liked having his plush lips on yours and the way he kissed you, that you were willing to push aside that fact for now. You pulled a blanket over the two of you and laid closer to him, his hand splayed across your stomach as he held you close. "Me gustas mucho, chiquita," he whispered before you went to sleep and you couldn't help but smile like a fool at how sweet the words sounded. (i like you a lot)

you tried clawing at his chest as a sign to tell him to stop, but it seemed as if he took it as a compliment. your cunt felt so numb. you already came and you lost track how many times. shanks loves overstimulating you, that hazy look of lust in your eyes gets him going even more. but you love it too of course, it’s just that, it’s different now. he looks too feral, too hungry, too scary.
“what’s got you so quiet, princess? don’t give up on me now, yeah? you’re taking all of me so well.” he tucked a hair that was starting to stick on your forehead. “already tired, eh?” a smirk made its way to his lips, he loved what he saw. flushed face, parted, drooling lips, and the half-lidded look of sex in your eyes.
the view of him slowly losing himself by the warmth of your folds. it feels so sticky and wet and his cock was throbbing at the clench of your sopping crevice. he loved how red and used your core looked. he’d throw his head back and slick back his sweaty hair, brutally pounding into you. each thrust hitting your cervix that it started choking you.
“t-too much…” you meekly let out, but it was unintelligible to him. he was too lost in the ecstasy of you. your lower half was aching by the minute, like it was going to bleed because of his pace and size.
“s-shanks too much…!” you tried a little louder this time. you couldn’t bellow it out clearly though, your stomach was so heavy. yet he still couldn’t hear it. soon enough, tears formed in your eyes, precariously cascading down your cheeks.
“roses.”
it only took the wetness of your cheeks and the weak sobs of the safeword for the emperor to stop. that flower that filled the fields on where he met you made him remember how delicate you are and how you should be treated. he stiffened up immediately, taking his hand off your throat. his hand immediately clutched your cheek, thumbs wiping off the tears. “oh fuck- baby, sweetheart i’m so sorry.” he pulled you up into his embracd, the look in his eyes much kinder this time. your voice sobering him up instantly. “d-did i squeeze your throat too much? did i bite too hard? t-tell me.”
“are you- where does it hurt?” he pulled away, searching for any noticeable sign of hurt on your body and eyes. he was still in you though, he figured it’d hurt more if he pulled out right away.
“just my cunt that you abused.” you sarcastically remarked, laughing meekly through teary eyes.
“jesus, i’m so sorry. i was- i'm fucking stupid. you just felt so good, and i’m so tired, and i needed you. i’m just- sorry i went too far, darling.” he panicked. suddenly, the big, scary emperor was now pouting before you. “y-yeah, let’s stop here.” he lied you down, slowly pulling out while carefully watching if your face contorted in any pain.
aaand the goofy shanks you fell in love to was now back, not that cunt hungry motherfucker earlier (but that works too, sometimes 😝). he soon ran a cold bath for you, cleaning you up. he distracted you with his funny stories, reveling on how you smile and how your cries fade away.
he’d usually take you out by the deck, let you clung on his arm to help you walk. you two’d settle by the edge of the ship, he’ll grab a pillow for you to sit on while your feet hang loosely above the flowing current, and he’d have a protective arm around your waist. the comforting blues and the salty air would relax the both of you, he’d place his chin on your shoulders and revel in your fragrant body wash and natural scent.
“i’m really sorry, love.” he mumbled, bashfully looking down. “have i really not hurt you?” the look of pure concern in his ruby eyes made you remember why you fell in love with him again.
“just a little but, that’s why we have a safe word, right? i understand, love. don’t worry about it.” you tuck a hair hanging by the side of his face on his ear.
“i-i’ll take you to hongo later.”
you couldn’t help but play it off with a nod as your fingers softly brush by his scarred cheek. during the visit with hongo, shanks had his head hung low with his hand behind him sheepishly when hongo confirmed that you were just overfucked and you were totally fine.

Jake was picking you up for your six month anniversary date in a few minutes, the nerves in your stomach were going crazy. You’d already thrown up twice that morning, the symptoms of your pregnancy were starting to show and you knew if you didn’t tell Jake soon then he would have figured it out himself. He was a smart boy, he was a doctor for goodness sake, he would be able to spot the signs from a mile off.
You wore a cute summer dress, white with little flowers on the skirt, as well as some jewellery. Jake had gotten you a necklace a few months ago, a little silver locket that held tiny pictures of you with Wonwoo and Mingyu. It was one of the most thoughtful gifts anyone had ever gotten you, and you wore it religiously throughout the last few months, today was no exception.
In your bag you tucked the pregnancy test you’d taken earlier that day, mostly just to double check but also because you’d thrown away the last one and you wanted some solid evidence to show to Jake. You wanted to tell him near the end of the date, so at least if it didn’t go down well then you would have at least had a few hours with him to enjoy.
You were being pessimistic here, you knew Jake would ultimately support you even if he wasn’t happy about it. And by what Sunghoon had said, Jake would be happy about it. You just prayed, that he was right.
‘I’m outside sweetheart, want me to come up and get you?’
Jake’s text popped up on your screen, you quickly typed a reply telling him you would come downstairs instead and then went to grab your shoes. The nerves were kicking in, you couldn’t tell if the nausea was from that or from the baby. You swallowed it down, taking a deep breath before locking your door behind you.
Jake was leaning up against his car when you approached, waiting patiently for you as he watched a dog across the street playing with its owner. He heard your footsteps approaching, turning to you with a wide smile and open arms.
“You look beautiful Y/N,” he mumbled into your hair as he enveloped you in his arms. “I missed you these last few days.”
You leant back to look up at him, pushing up onto your tiptoes to press a gentle kiss to his cheek. Jake smiled in contentment, squeezing you closer to him before letting you go so that he could open the door for you and help you inside.
“This is for you,” he said after he’d gotten into the drivers seat, handing over a box before pressing a quick kiss to your lips. “I know we said we weren’t doing presents, but I couldn’t resist.”
You rolled your eyes, that was so typically Jake of him. He loved to spoil you, “how did I know you would do this? I have a little something for you too, but I’ll give it to you later on yeah? I want to spend the evening together first.”
Jake nodded, a small but confused smile on his lips as he thought about what you might’ve gotten for him. However, he got distracted when he saw you opening your gift, the small bottle of perfume inside.
“I designed the scent,” Jake explained, pointing to the label. “It’s got peony in it since I know that your favourite floral smell, and a few other different scents that I thought went well with it. It’s nothing big, but I thought you might like it.”
“Jake,” you pouted over at him, eyes welling up. “This is such a sweet gift baby, thank you so much, I love it.”
You leant over the middle console to wrap your arms around his neck, hugging him tight to say your thanks. Jake reciprocated, tugging on your waist to bring you close to him before pressing a few gentle kisses to the side of your head.
“You’re welcome angel, I’m glad you like it,” he let you go so that you could settle in your seat, reaching over and buckling your seatbelt for you as well. “Right, let’s head off yeah? I want to get there just before the sun sets.”
You didn’t really know what Jake had planned, but you knew whatever it was would be special. He always knew how to make dates extra special, you trusted him to take you somewhere good. He let you take the aux as he was driving, playing the music from your shared playlist. His hand rested on your thigh as he drove down the motorway, the drive was a little longer than usual but he kept you distracted talking about anything and everything.
That was how dating Jake was, it was easy and relaxed at all times. Jake made you feel so comfortable and safe, he made you feel like the luckiest person in the world. He made every day feel great, even when it really wasn’t. That’s why you felt so nervous, things with Jake were so good that you didn’t want to have the possibility of ruining it. This announcement would completely change everything, you didn’t want it to change how he felt about you.
“We’re here baby,” Jake cut the engine and turned to you. “We’re going to have a little picnic out here and then watch the sunset together until we can see the stars. It’s nothing extravagant but it’s been a while since we were able to just spend some time alone together and I missed it.”
Your heart soared,  “that sounds perfect Jake.”
He smiled widely, happy with his decision. You couldn’t tell but he was nervous too, tonight he wanted to tell you how he really felt. Jake had known he was in love with you even before the two of you started dating, he had felt that way for months, but he had never had the confidence to tell you. But he thought today was the day, he felt ready and he wanted to be able to talk about his feelings freely.
So as the two of you finished the picnic he’d bought, drinking hot chocolate out of a flask, the sky started to dim and the two of you watched the sun set over the fields ahead only illuminated by the little electronic candles Jake had bought with him. It was like a scene out of a movie, Jake really pulled out all the stops when it came to you.
“Y/N,” Jake mumbled, turning to face you instead of the sky. Soft music played from his car nearby but the only other sounds were your voices, no one else was around and you felt like you had the whole world to yourselves. “I need to tell you something but I’m nervous.”
Jake had been so open and honest to you throughout your relationship so far, you knew whatever he was about to tell you was something big by the way he was hesitating.
You took his hands, “whatever it is Jakey, it’ll all be fine. Take your time.”
He nodded gently, taking a deep breath, “I’ve wanted to tell you this for a while, and I mean a long while because I’ve felt like this since before we were dating.”
Now you were nervous, Jake’s words felt heavy and you didn’t want this to change anything for you two. But you felt like whatever he had to say would not be anywhere near as difficult as what you had to tell him, the nerves in your stomach kept bubbling up even as he spoke.
Jake squeezed your hands tight, bringing your eyes back up to his. They were wide and unblinking. He took a deep breath.
“I love you Y/N,” he said simply. “I have for a long time now, and it has been so hard for me not to say it. I love everything about you, you’re so kind and caring towards everyone. You have goals and you work so hard to achieve them. You have never once made me doubt my feelings for you, you reassure me in every way that you are one hundred percent all in for me. That’s why I love you, because you are everything I could possibly ask for and so much more. I couldn’t hide it any longer, I’ve been wanting to tell you for months now and it feels so good to finally be able to.”
Jake was staring at you whilst you processed the confession, in a way you had seen it coming, Jake had always been at the cusp of admitting it to you and you could tell by the way he looked at you sometimes. His eyes were always so soft and attentive, his love was obvious when you really thought about it.
“Jake,” there were already tears in your eyes. “I love you too, so much.”
He visibly relaxed, a smile working its way onto his face at your words. He didn’t let your finish your little speech, instead he tugged you forward to kiss you over and over all across your face. His lips found yours, suddenly kissing him felt all the more special.
But now your confession felt even more scary. There was, all of a sudden, more on the line for you. If you didn’t tell him now then it would only get even harder, you needed to get it all out in the open.
“I need to tell you something too,” you mumbled against his lips, finally pulling away from him. Jake let you back a little, giving you the space and attention to talk, hands holding your waist now as you sat close to each other.
“I’m all ears sweetheart,” he replied, once again putting your nerves at ease for a moment.
“I love you, I’ve known for a while as well,” you started. “I want this to be a forever thing for us, I can’t really imagine life without you now even if we’ve only been together for a short time.”
You reached into your bag, taking out an envelope with Jake’s name on it. He furrowed his brows, he knew you’d said no gifts but he had no idea what you possibly could have gotten him.
“I don’t really know how to talk about this, because I’m fucking terrified, so I’ll just give you this,” you handed him the envelope. “I just need you to know that I love you, and whatever you do I will accept it because I’ve kind of prepared myself for every outcome.”
“No pressure then, huh?” Jake said, trying to make the atmosphere lighter.
You bit your lip, the lack of a smile on your lips made Jake’s disappear, you didn’t want to cry but each passing second was making you more nervous, “you can open it now.”
Jake nodded softly, kissing your forehead once before pulling back a little. He unfolded the top, opening the envelope and looking inside. You could see the moment his eyes landed on the test, wide unblinking eyes as he always did when he was shocked or confused, but he didn’t look scared or angry. In fact, there was a ghost of a smile at the corners of his lips.
“You’re fucking joking,” he pulled out the positive test, staring at it just in case he had read it wrong. “Tell me this is real, Y/N.”
He tore his eyes away to look at you when you nodded, “it’s real Jake, I found out a couple of days ago but I wanted to wait. I was so scared, I didn’t know how to tell you.”
His lips fell into a pout as his own eyes flooded with tears, you panicked at the sight but he shook his head before you could say anything, “I can’t believe it.”
“I’m sorry,” you started to worry that you’d ruined things now. “I should’ve been more careful, if you don’t want it then it’s ok I can figure it out I-”
Jake shut you up by kissing you again, pressing his lips hard against yours to silence your concerns. He dropped the envelope on the blanket below you so he could tug you even closer, your legs over his lap and his hands in your hair. Jake tried to portray everything through that kiss, he tried to tell you it was ok, you hadn’t done anything wrong, he was happy. His words had failed him so his kiss was trying to make up for it.
He pulled back to look at you again, eyes still glossy with tears that he didn’t want to fall. They were happy tears, Jake was happy.
“Sweetheart,” he tucked some hair behind your ear. “We’re having a baby? Like, I’m going to be a dad?”
We. We’re having a baby. That one sentence relaxed you more than anything in the world. We. You were doing this together.
You nodded gently, “yeah Jake, you’re going to be a dad.”
“Oh my god,” he shook his head in disbelief. “I can’t believe this. I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy in my life. We’re going to have a baby, oh my god Y/N. I love you so much.”
“I love you too,” the smile on your lips just kept growing as Jake’s excitement grew. “You’re not angry? Or scared? I was so worried that you weren’t going to want this, we’ve not been together that long and things have been so hard recently. I was scared this would break us.”
“Oh Y/N, I’m so sorry you felt like that,” he kissed you again to wipe any remaining doubt away. “It must’ve been so scary for you, I’m sorry you had to go through that alone. But this isn’t going to break us, I know it’s been hard and I know we’ve had some shit to deal with, but this is the best news I’ve heard in my life. I can’t imagine anyone else who I could do this with, because you’re the only person I want to do this with, and we’ll figure it out together. I love you completely, and now I have another little one to love as well, do you know how happy that makes me?”
“Aren’t you worried about work? About our friends and our social lives? I’ll have to stop working as much, maybe even all together for a while, so we’ll have less money but more costs. I’m scared Jake, I don’t have a clue what I’m doing,” you didn’t even realise you were crying until Jake was wiping away your tears. “I don’t have anyone to turn to for help when things get hard in this, I wish my mum was here so she could tell me what to do. I have no idea how to be a parent, I’m so scared of fucking this up.”
“You could never fuck it up angel, never in a million years. Your mum is watching over you, and she would be so excited and proud of you. And when our little one is old enough, you can tell them about her and tell them how much she would love them because I know your mum would be so incredibly happy,” Jake was trying not to cry himself. He knew this was an exciting moment, but seeing you so scared hurt him more than anything. “My parents love you too, they will be there for you when you need it too. You’re not alone in this, we’re in this together and my family and all of our friends will be there for you too. I love you Y/N, I’ll never let you be alone in this because this is our future, we will figure it all out together.”
“All of it?” You asked quietly.
“All of it sweetheart, you’re everything to me and this baby only solidifies how strongly I feel for you. I’ll never let you go through any of this alone,” Jake wiped the final tear from your cheek. “I love you so incredibly much Y/N, nothing will change that. If anything, this will just make me love you even more than I thought was possible.”
“I love you too Jake, so much.” You laid your head against his chest as he held you tight against him, “you’re going to be an amazing dad.”
“Guess you’re not the only one who will be calling me daddy from now on,” he giggled to himself at his dumb joke.
“Oh my god Jake,” you whined. “I knew you wouldn’t be able to be serious for that long.”
He pulled back from you, tugging on your hips so that you were seated in his lap fully, one leg on either side of him. In this position you were looking down at him, hands now on his shoulders as his rested loosely on your hips, fingers wrapped around the fabric of your dress. All of a sudden the mood had changed, the air was thick with arousal already.
“Can’t help it angel,” he pulled you tight against him. “Thinking about the fact we’re going to be parents is sending me insane, I should reward you shouldn’t I? It would be mean of me not to.”
“Super mean,” you agreed. The skirt of your dress had ridden up enough that the only thing separating your cunt and Jake was the thin material of your pretty lace panties. The pair that Jake had bought for you a few months ago as a little gift, white with a little bow.
Jake slid his hands from your waist to your thighs, dipping them underneath your skirt until they rested at the top, close enough to your cunt to send your mind spinning but not enough to give you any relief.
“How do you feel about doing it here?” Jake asked, his fingertips dragging across the dampened fabric of your underwear, he smiled smugly. “Would you let daddy fuck you out here?” Your brain turned off.
On the odd occasion that Jake referred to himself in that way, you always loved it. It was something that had slipped out randomly one day and you’d dropped it into conversation every now and then, Jake had really liked it and hence you established this little role for him. It was even more fitting now that you had a baby on the way.
“Fuck, please,” you could feel his thumb circling your clit outside your panties, the lace rubbing against you perfectly. “Would let you do anything.”
Jake pulled his hand away, a whine being ripped from your throat, “you’ve got such a dirty mouth sweetheart, next time I need to stuff your mouth full to teach you a lesson, hmm? But I’m feeling nice today, so I’ll save that. For now, think you can ride me angel?”
You nodded embarrassingly quickly, squeezing his shoulders, “please Jake.”
He leant forward to kiss you, pulling you closer until your cunt was directly above his cock that was already fully hard. Jake’s tongue almost automatically pushed through your mouth, sloppily moving against you until your lips were swollen and messy. You loved kissing Jake like this, dirty as your spit collected in the corners of your lips.
“That’s not my name sweetheart,” he mumbled against you, pulling back just enough to play with you. His fingers toyed at the hem of your underwear, snapping the elastic against you.
“’M sorry,” you replied, giving an experimental roll of your hips against his, Jake had to bite back a groan as to not give you too much power. “Please daddy, I’ll be good for you.”
“You’re always so good for me sweetheart,” he kissed your jaw, moving down to your neck slowly as he left open mouthed kisses on your skin. “Lift up a little, let me take these off of you. That’s it. Good girl.”
Jake slipped your underwear off, tucking them into his pocket with a sly little smile on his lips. With one hand he held onto your hip to shift you up a little, the other he used to unzip his trousers and tug them down enough to pull out his cock.
You weren’t in the mood for foreplay, you just needed to feel Jake inside you. So instead of waiting for his instruction, you moved back over him and sunk yourself down onto his cock. Jake groaned out loudly at the sudden movement, his hands pushing at your dress to bunch it up over your hips so he could watch how you moved on his cock.
“Fuck Y/N, look at you,” his eyes were glued to the image of his cock slipping through your legs. “Taking me so well angel, always so good for me.”
You used your hands on his shoulders to steady yourself, grinding yourself down onto his cock over and over. This position hit so deep inside you that you could feel the tip of his cock bulging in your stomach.
“Daddy,” you whined out pathetically, “feels so good, so fucking deep.”
Jake immediately pressed his lips to yours, biting down harshly on your bottom lip, “you’re driving me crazy Y/N, need to fuck you full. Fuck another baby into you, yeah? Can’t believe you’re going to be a mum, god I’m so in love with you.”
Jake was mumbling incoherent sentences, too blinded by his love for you and how good your cunt felt around his cock. He moved his hand to grip your cheeks quickly, squeezing tight to open your mouth and spitting directly onto your tongue. You let it sit there, tongue out for Jake to see, before you crashed your mouth onto his, swirling your tongue around his in a disgusting kiss as his spit spilt down your chin.
You moaned against his lips once again, your pace slowing down as you started to get tired. You tried to rut against him and keep the tension that had built, but your thighs burned with exhaustion.
Jake gripped your hips hard, his fingertips would definitely leave bruises, “let me do it angel.” He kept the fabric of your dress pulled up as he used his grip on your hips to move you up and down on his cock, thrusting his hips up to meet each movement. The change of pace was enough to have praises spilling from your lips as your orgasm quickly approached.
“Going to cum Ja- daddy,” your head dropped to his shoulder as you started to get tired. “Fucking me so well, cum with me. Please daddy.”
“Anything for you sweetheart,” he grunted out as he fucked up faster into you. A bead of sweat rolled down his temple as he tried to push the two of you over the edge, the tight grip of your cunt around him was mind numbing. “Where’d you want it baby? Want me to fuck you full again?”
“Please, please,” you babbled, mind numb from the pleasure Jake was giving to you. “Cum inside, please daddy.”
Tears were falling down your cheeks as you tried to hold your orgasm to wait for him, Jake nudged your head up so he could kiss you properly, hips bucking up into you at an insane pace.
“It’s ok sweetheart, daddy’s got you, ok? Cum for me Y/N,” he held you down onto his cock harshly as ground his hips up, cock pressing as deep as it could possibly go. “Cum around my cock, I want it baby.”
That’s all you needed to push you over the edge, your orgasm washing over you as you clamped down on Jake’s cock. He swore as he came inside you, grinding his cock into you with each spurt of cum that filled you up.
“Oh my god,” you pulled away from his lips to moan. Your lips brushed his as you talked, “fuck Jake.”
He kissed you again, eyes still squeezed shut as he came down from his own orgasm. Jake breathed heavily into your mouth, loud pants as he relaxed from maybe the most intense orgasm he’d ever had. Maybe that had something to do with the confessions that day, but whatever it was, he had never felt so in love with you in that moment. You shifting on his lap was enough to bring him out of his daze, his hands stilling your hips with a hiss.
“Careful sweetheart,” he said through gritted teeth. “Daddy’s still sensitive, haven’t cum this much in a while. Let’s just stay like this for a moment, yeah?”
You nodded gently, resting your head down against his chest. You could hear his heart beating loudly against your ear, “I love you Jake, so much.”
You felt him breathe out a sigh of relief, “I love you too.” He helped you to sit up properly, slipping his cock out of you finally. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to hearing that.”
“Me neither, it feels so surreal,” you kissed him a couple of times before removing yourself from his lap with shaky legs. You tried to ignore the feeling of his cum dripping out of you, but you knew your dress would be ruined already. You settled next to him on the blanket, the two of you helping each other to smooth out your clothes.
Jake turned to you, tucking some hair behind your ear softly, “I’m so excited to start this little family with you sweetheart.” He wrapped his arm around your shoulders to pull you against his side, a gentle kiss pressed to your temple, “whatever happens, it’s going to be so worth it because it’s you.”
“I’m excited too, nervous but excited. You’re going to be the most amazing dad, you’re already the most amazing boyfriend to me,” you looked up to the sky, now dark and the stars were shining brightly over the two of you. “Wait, is that the big dipper?”
Jake’s eyes snapped up to the sky, smiling brightly when he saw where you were pointing. It definitely wasn’t the big dipper, but you looked so happy pointing it out that he couldn’t bear to tell you no, “that’s right sweetheart! Well done.”
He pressed a kiss to the side of your head again, watching you as you watched the stars. Jake didn’t think he had ever felt happier than this, this moment might have been his favourite of all time. Nothing would ever top this feeling for him, being here in the quiet and calm with the love of his life. He wished he could bottle this feeling and keep it forever, he never wanted to come down from this high.
“Baby?” You asked quietly, bringing him from his thoughts.
“Yeah?”
“Can I have my underwear back now?”

dinner time! ♡
... i dont want to eat dinner alone >:(
relationship | streamer!Kuni x gn!streamer!reader synopsis | kuni made dinner and you got lost in a rabbit hole with your chat and forgot to join him at the table. kuni means well but he’s TERRIBLE at showing it. content | fluff
Tumblr media
"It’s dinner time, y/n.”
Kuni was standing at the entrance of your shared stream room, one hip cocked to the side with one hand gripping a wooden spoon resting on it. A pastel pink apron wrapped around his body with ‘meow’ and a cat paw shittily embroidered near his heart. You made that one on stream last year. A hair clip sat at the top of his head holding his bangs away from his eyes.
“Hear that, chat?” You giggled, spinning your chair around to face your boyfriend, shifting one headphone cup away from your ear. “Malewife girl boss, 100 percent!” You teased and cackled, plopping one of your elbows on the armrest, and resting your chin against your closed fist. You lovingly stared at him, grinning as you glanced at your chat. Kuni rolled his eyes with an unimpressed look and drifted his gaze to your chat that was zooming since he made his entrance.
Messages from your chat yelling about the return of the apron, about ‘bbg SCARA era!!’ and how much of a simp he was repeated over and over.
“Simp? Girlboss?” He scoffs. “Oh, you wish.” Before he could turn around and leave you to your stream, you called after him while laughing, “I’ll be there soon!” You heard a distant, ‘You better be!’ ring from the kitchen.
You spun back to face your chat to wrap up the content for tonight, giggling about how baby girl your boyfriend is.
Except, 15 minutes passed and Kuni was getting tired of waiting at the dinner table. He had the table prepped with placemats and silverware. He was grumpily sitting at the table, idly scrolling on his phone while he waited for you to join. He would never admit it, but he hated eating alone ever since you rudely barged waltzed into his life. After folding two napkin cranes and neatly placing them near your glass of water, he was nearing his limit. After the fourth loud laugh and gasp from the other room, he sighed and grabbed both bowls of soup with the little napkin birds crushed in one hand.
“Chat, you are so right-”
“Hey, idiot. I said it was time to eat.” He muttered, walking straight into the room and loudly putting your bowl on the coaster near your keyboard. He held his bowl in one hand as he stared down at you, seeing how your chat was yelling yet again because they were getting prime-time content of the both of you tonight. The two of you did not stream at the same time, so chores were placed on the non-streaming person each day. While his tone spoke of annoyance, his soft look off-camera and anxiously tapping foot spoke of kinder emotions, “you need to take better care of yourself,” he mutters, checking to see if your mic picked up his words. It did not.
“Sorry, Scara!” You squeaked out, using his online nickname. “Chat got me in a deep dive last second and I got a little distracted,” you were grabbing the bowl to continue streaming while eating, but your boyfriend’s quirked brow made you pause.
“Eating and streaming beyond your 3 hours per stream?” His eyes narrow, leaning over to become visible to your chat. He leans on your desk with his free hand, ignoring your protest and concern for the other bowl of soup sloshing in its bowl. “For these people?” He squints as he sees your guys’ simps scream about how good he looked right then. Listen, he already knew he looked good-
“When it’s dinner time, it’s time to eat.” He grumbles, staring right at the camera before straightening his back to face you. He tosses you your crumpled-up crane. Your boyfriend was clearly giving you a look that was demanding, ‘well?’.
“I can’t just end this rabbit hole, Scara! You know how important this is to me and my community!” You gasped, gesturing to the number of messages yelling at him to let you continue, but you shoot him an apologetic look as you clutch the napkin. He stares at the content on your screen. It was just a video about deep sea gigantism and his face drops a little as he examines your screen more. You had over twenty tabs open, with a few about deep sea gigantism, hydraulic press videos, and the stock market.
“No way there’s a correlation between those all.” He mutters. He repeatedly grits out ‘ain’t no fuckin’ way’ and ‘you need to set better boundaries’ under his breath as he spins around to seemingly walk away. Except, he’s walking to his desk to roll his chair over, his words getting louder, “I can’t believe I’m enabling this garbage.” He mutters, rolling his chair to yours so close that the armrests intersect. He’s gripping his bowl so tightly, his knuckles nearly white as he shakes his head.
“Holy shit.” You muttered, eyes widening. “Chat, he’s in. Chat, Scara’s in! Boys, we did it-”
“Pretend I’m not here, thanks.”
You were excitedly yelling at your chat, slamming your finger on the space bar to continue down the rabbit hole. You blabbed on, catching him on about the portion he missed. As you were rambling, he gently pokes you with the clean end of his spoon to start eating. You listen, one hand spooning yourself the lukewarm soup as you animatedly gush about deep sea creatures and how they grow to be so large. Kuni sat cross-legged in his chair, cradling his bowl close to his face as he listened to you ramble to mostly him at this point. The bowl covered the smile that was threatening to erupt after listening to how excited you were.
Your chat made fan cams of the two of you that same night. Half of them were thirsty, showcasing his glower into the camera and his arm tensing on the table, and the other half highlighting the cute smile that cracked through after he put the bowl down.
Tumblr media
a/n | strongly believe that kuni is really good at cooking. also he knew what he was doing when he was glaring at the camera *shrug* he’s a business man, ok? also i fully intended that the two of you usually always have dinner together at the table, but that night was just a very interesting rabbit hole and it slipped your mind. honest mistake.  ©kunikuma

[SUMMARY: Joel falls for temptation with the babysitter, who happens to be his best friends twenty year old daughter.]
Smut, unprotected sex, age difference
“I know…it’s so much isn’t it?” He whispered close to your lips before slowly moving in a rythm.
“Thanks for babysitting last minute” Joel let you in before calling out to his brother Tommy to hurry for work.
“Its alright, I didn’t have any plans for the day” you assured him as you watched him put a few of his belongings in his backpack. You couldn’t help but notice the sight of his forearms flexing as he adjusted what he needed.
“Shit-“ Joel whispered to himself looking down at his t shirt noticing it was backwards.
“Tommy let’s go!” He turned around unexpectedly pulling his shirt over him as he disappeared into the bathroom. The sight of his broad back for just that short second making your heart skip a beat.
“Your father said he forgot to tell you he won’t be home tonight when you return” Joel called out from the bathroom. For just a moment forgetting he was after all, your fathers bestfriend.
“It’s fine, I wasn’t gonna go straight home anyways” you responded as you took off your jacket just as he stepped back out.
“Staying out late tonight?” You hadn’t noticed his eyes quickly wander down your backside before you turned back to him.
“Uh yeah,” you smiled as he gave you a quick nod and yelled once again for his brother.
“Tommy!” He grabbed his bag heading for the door.
“Sarah’s in her room, probably watching a movie. Make yourself comfortable, thanks again” he quickly walked out just as Tommy finally followed. You sighed to yourself after hearing them drive off, you had such a crush on Joel but you knew nothing more would ever come from it.
How could it? You were only twenty years old and Joel was a friend of your fathers.
Sarah and you spent most of your evening watching movies and ordered pizza. She was a sweet eight year old, it was clear her father did a good job raising her.
Soon it was her bedtime and you made sure she was set in bed. You had bought your clothes to change for your plans tonight and did some light make up in the bathroom, you knew Joel would be home soon.
Just as he said, nine on the dot he walked in just as you were finishing up putting on your lip gloss in the mirror.
You found Joel in the kitchen grabbing a drink from the fridge before he turned around and was taken back by the sight he had before him. You wore black jeans and an off the shoulder olive green top. Your high heel boots finishing off your look, Joel was speechless.
“Well you look nice y/n” Tommy walked by distracting Joel for just a second.
“Thanks” you placed your bag over your shoulder.
“Sarahs asleep, her homework is done and we watched a movie and had pizza,” you spoke as Joel looked at you but didn’t seem to be listening at all.
“Joel?” He cleared his throat taking a sip from his drink.
“Yeah-thanks” his eyes again quickly wandering up and down as you looked at your phone.
“What’s it a date?” He leaned on the door way.
“Could you tell? I’m so nervous” you laughed not noticing how he clenched his jaw. Apart of him actually felt jealousy that he knew he shouldn’t have felt. Who the hell was he to feel any type of way. Being so nervous for your date you failed to notice the way your crushes eyes were glued to you.
“I better get going,” you walked towards the door as he followed.
“Thanks for tonight…have fun” he tightened his lip as he held the door open for you and watched you walk out.
The night quickly turned into a disaster. Your date Jacob was a joke, the whole night only trying to touch you not caring how uncomfortable it made you feel. Feeling tipsy off the 3 drinks you had you got in Jacobs car just wanting to be taken home. He drove silently until he pulled over and reached over beginning to kiss your neck. You quickly stopped him only pissing him off.
“Come on, what the hell was the point of me taking you out tonight if I ain’t getting any action?”
“What?” You looked up at him shocked.
“Is that what this is?”
“What did you think I actually liked you?” He began to laugh as your heart crushed into pieces.
“Get out of my car-“
“We’re in the middle of nowhere!”.
“Get out!” He yelled louder. Angrily you grabbed your purse, slamming the door as hard as you could watching him drive off.
It was late and it was getting chilly, you had no way to get home and you could still feel the effects of the alcohol. The thought of calling Joel crossed your mind, before you could stop yourself from doing it you grabbed your phone and began dialing.
Joel sat alone in his living room watching a movie when his phone began to ring. Confused by a sudden late call, he was even more thrown off when he saw your name.
“Hello?”
“Joel? I’m sorry-“ the sound of your voice making him sit up leaning forward.
“What’s the matter?”
“I know it’s late, I…umm…do you think you can please pick me up?” You were clearly upset, he had never heard you like this before.
“Of course, tell me where you are”
“Right before you get onto the expressway on Alley Pond road” you looked up at the sign.
“Yeah-yeah I’ll be there right in a bit” Joel quickly checked on his daughter and left his brother a note before leaving the house.
Joel eventually found you alone in a dark quiet street.
“What the hell?” He whispered to himself before getting out the car. The sight of him walking your way making tears instantly well up.
“Joel, I’m so sorry” he instantly began taking off his jacket to place it around you.
“What the hell you doing here alone?”
“My date went to shit-“ you shook your head looking down.
“He got upset I wouldn’t put out and he left me here. I’m such an idiot-“
“Hey” he stopped you right in your tracks.
“Any man who leaves a woman like this late out in the cold alone is a shit head in my book. He ain’t worth it, sweetheart. Come on” he took his arm out for you to grab onto and walk you to the car. You held on almost stumbling before he quickly caught you.
“How much you had to drink?”
“Just two or three shots. I’m sorry-“
“Stop saying sorry dammit” he helped you into the passenger seat of his car. The warmth making you sigh in comfort.
Joel sat for a moment looking over at you as you looked down in embarrassment.
“I know this isn’t appropriate but I didn’t know who else to call” you whispered.
“I’m glad you called me” he assured you making you look up. Joel turned the car back on and drove off as you looked outside.
“I thought he actually liked me” you laughed at yourself sarcastically.
“Silly me, guess I wasn’t pretty enough”
“Stop it, you’re beautiful” his unexpected words making you look over at him. He could feel your eyes on him as he looked at the road.
“That’s nice of you to say”
“I mean it” his eyes locking with yours.
“Don’t you let that asshole make you think you ain’t good enough. Any man would be lucky to have a chance with you” he looked away before you could respond, speeding off into the road. The rest of the ride was silent up until you got to the front of your house. He quickly got out, opening your door, taking your hand to help you out.
“My dads still not home” you raised your brows as you took his hand, your foot accidentally sliding making your body crash into his.
“You alright?” You could feel his large hands on your waist, your back against the passenger seat.
“Did you really mean what you said back there?” You suddenly asked looking up at him.
“You think I’m beautiful?” His expression changing, he knew this was wrong but he couldn’t help himself. You realized his eyes were on your lips, his hands still on your waist as you stood before him.
“Joel?” He unexpectedly leaned in and kissed you, taking you by surpsie. Your lips locking with his as his hands squeezed your hips, your body completely leaning back against the seat as his body pressed on yours before he pulled his lips away. The two of you panting still close together.
“I’m sorry-“ he whispered.
“Don’t be” you ran your hand through the back of his wavy hair pulling his face back to you, making him kiss you again. The kiss was intense, passionate until he once again pulled himself away.
“You better go” he cleared his throat unable to look you in the eye, he knew your father could pull up any minute and find you two like this.
“Yeah…I should” you whispered thinking the same exact thing. He stepped aside and watched you walk to your door before letting yourself inside.
Joel couldn’t believe what he had just let himself do, hell you couldn’t believe it. Never had Joel shown any signs that he was interested in you in this way…that you noticed.
Joel lay back in his bed that night not being able to stop thinking about how he kissed you. A but of guilt getting to him knowing you were Brian’s daughter. What the hell was he thinking?
That night Joel had a dream of you, the dream causing him to wake up with a massive hard on.
“Shit” he whispered knowing you would be showing up again that day to babysit. He couldn’t allow himself to be alone with you.
The next day you anxiously rang the bell waiting for it to be opened until you saw Joel.
“Hi” you spoke hesitantly, his body instantly tensing.
“Hi” he let you in quickly turning his back to you. You looked around to see if Tommy or Sarah were anywhere near by as he walked into the kitchen and poured himself juice.
“About..last night-“
“I shouldn’t have done that and it was wrong for me to step out of line like that. It won’t happen again” he couldn’t even look up at you as he spoke.
“Ok” you turned around making him comfortable enough to look up noticing you wore some kind of casual dress. Instant sexual thoughts rushing through his mind until you looked up.
“How’s Sarah?”
“Huh? Sarah-she’s fine” he looked over and saw her coming down the hall.
“There she is,homework all done, showered. Now you two just relax till I get home tonight”
“Wanna bake some cookies?” You asked Sarah with a smile. She agreed as the two of you began prepping the kitchen, Joel left with Tommy yet he still couldn’t stop thinking of you.
“Has Brian called you?” Tommy’s question throwing Joel off.
“Brian? For what?”
“Remember the job we were suppose to do with him tomorrow? To confirm it?”
“Oh, shit. No I haven’t heard from him. I’ll give him a call later.”
That night Joel returned alone as Sarah fell asleep on the couch beside you. He picked her up in his arms and gently lay her in bed before closing her door.
“Where’s Tommy?” You asked as you began to get your stuff.
“Out, I don’t know” he responded without looking your way. You could tell he was trying to avoid you.
“How was your day?” You asked as he bit his lip hoping you would leave, he couldn’t allow himself to give into this.
“Come on, Joel” you sighed as he walked down the hall.
“You’re gonna act like nothing happened?” You asked making him stop in his tracks and turn back to you.
“What the hell are you trying to do? If your father knew-“
“He doesn’t have to know anything” you quickly interjected.
“Look I’m not doing anything, I know nothing could happen I just-“
“You just what?” He spoke in a cold tone walking towards you as you began to back away, unaware you walked into the bathroom, before you could come back out he had already blocked the doorway. He closed the door behind him without taking his eyes off you. The room was dim only a light from a post outside the house entering through the window. The sexual tension between the two of you was strong, your heart racing with excitement.
“Joel?” Without saying a word he grabbed you once again kissing you intensely. His hands touching every part of your body until they stopped on your breasts squeezing them. His kisses slowing down as his hands slowly dropped to your waist pulling your pelvis against him making you feel how hard he was.
“See what you’re doing to me?” He whispered in between kisses. You didn’t know what to say until he slowly picked you up and sat you on the sink. His hands slowly pushing up under your dress as he stared into your eyes.
“What if-“
“Shh” he unbuckled his pants dropping them right before his knees as he grabbed your hand and made you grab his dick. You gasped feeling how thick he was. You knew you both were doing something that wasn’t right, but you couldn’t stop. He pulled you close to him, spreading your legs pressing the head of his dick against your pussy. He could feel you soaked through your underwear. Your hands on his shoulders only wanting to feel more of him you pulled him closer, your breathing rapid.
“You want me too huh?” He whispered just as he began to kiss you again reaching between you both. His kisses grew more intense again just as you felt him move your soaked underwear to the side. The tip of him pushing against your entrance, you pulled your lips away uncertain of how this would feel. You weren’t a virgin but he was bigger than what you were used to. He pressed against you harder as he slowly buried himself in you inch by inch. Just watching your expression he could tell you had never felt anything like this. Unexpectedly he thrusted hard making you whimper holding himself in place.
“I know…it’s so much isn’t it?” He whispered close to your lips before slowly moving in a rythm. Each stroke making you more wet for him allowing him to move faster. Your arm around his neck as you leaned your free hand on the sink, moaning softly against him. He began to pull the straps of your dress down, revealing your plump breasts as he quickened his pace. The pleasure he made you feel you hadn’t even come close to with another man, lost in a daze you moaned until you heard the front door being unlocked.
“Shh” Joel didn’t stop, burying his face in the crook of your neck when you heard someone turn the bathroom door knob. You gasped hearing Tommy’s voice on the other end.
“Joel hurry up, I gotta use the bathroom”
“I’m busy in here” Joel continued as he but his bottom lip looking down at himself slide in and out of you.
“What are you taking a shit in the dark?”
“Tommy I’m fucking busy” he panted.
“Well hurry up, Brians coming over so we could go over the job for tomorrow” you gasped in a panic. Your father was coming over?
“Joel” you whispered when you began to feel a sensation that quickly distracted you begin to build up inside you, one you weren’t familiar with and he could see it in your eyes. Tommy mumbled something walking away from the door as Joel moved faster grabbing your face, he felt you tighten up around him.
“Let it go, baby, let it happen” he whispered as he grunted, sweat dripping down his forehead. Your eyes rolled back as you arched your back before a moan louder than you expected escaped your lips. Joel quickly covered your mouth with his hand as he felt you cum all over him.
“That’s it…..there you go…” he whispered feeling your body go limp in his arms. He thrusted a few times more before he quickly pulled out finishing on your thigh struggling to be as quiet as he could.
“Fuck” he grunted low, both panting out of control as he wiped sweat off his face.
“Joel, you alright?!” Tommy was at the door again as you slouched back against the mirror.
“Yeah- yeah I’m fine-“
“I’m going out for a smoke, I’ll wait for Brian out front” and with that you both heard the door close.
Quickly cleaning yourself up Joel didn’t say a word as he washed his face and pulled his pants up. You fixed your dress the best you could looking over at him before looking at the mirror.
“My father is on his way” you spoke with concern before he stopped and looked at you.
“Look…just act like you were in the room reading Sarah a book. Try to act normal” he whispered before opening the door and the two of you walked out.
Just as you walked into the kitchen in walked Tommy and your father.
“Y/n, I didn’t know you were still here” Tommy chuckled as you smiled nervously.
“Hey dad, hey Tommy, I was just reading Sarah a book” you explained as Tommy looked over at Joel who was grabbing something from the fridge. Tommy instantly noticing something was off, he knew his brother all too well.
But it couldn’t be what he thought.
He looked back at fourth at you and Joel with furrowed brows before Brian distracted all of you.
“Y/n if you want you can wait for me to drive you home, I’ll be done soon” your dad offered.
“No it’s ok dad, I’ll see you at the house. I better get going” you grabbed your purse heading for the door.
“Thank you” Joel called out to you making you stop in your tracks.
“Y-yeah…no problem” you smiled before opening the door and letting yourself out.
Tommy caught the way his brother was looking at you, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He knew the look his brother had after getting lucky with a woman. Once again Brian distracting him and Joel getting back into the topic of work.
You walked out into the fresh air in shock with what just happened. It felt like something out of a movie.
Now what?
So many thoughts ran through your head, but one thing was for sure, it couldn’t happen again. At least that’s what you tried to convince yourself.

OMG SO I REQUESTED THE TOMAS WITH THE KID READER, IT WAS SO CUTE, USVHSBS
Could I ask for a follow up, maybe? The ending had the reader drawing, so what if the reader just draws him, themselves and Kuai Liang just hanging out all the time? Bonus points if they're not at all good and literally just stick figures, but it's clear they put so much love into it that it doesn't matter
Tomas Vbrada/Smoke and Kuai Liang/Scorpion X reader
Tumblr media
Awwwwwwww anon This is so adorable I love it so damn much, Your brain is on fire this month !!!. Word count:1K
Whenever you finished up training or done your chores in the dojo, It was no surprise that you would spend your free time drawing, Most of the time you would draw you and Smoke, Granted they were stick figures but you put so much love and care into them. Even having Kuai liang in your drawings as well.
"Kuai I drew something new !!" You said proudly.
"Ah what have you drawn today ??" He smile as you handed him a drawing.
"This is me" You pointed at the stick figure what looks like its punching a wooden pole. "And this is you" Pointing to the second stick figure who was cheering you on.
"This is very lovely y/n, Thank you for this" He smiled brightly, you just made his day.
Both Tomas and Kuai have a huge collection of your drawings, each one putting so much love and care into it. You really did see them as your brothers, even though you didn't share the same blood. You saw them as brothers who would do nothing else to protect you and help you be the very best you can be.
One day, It was a nice beautiful summer's day outside, and Kuai decided to treat you two to a day out, no worrying about any chores or training.
"How about a day swim at the lake nearby ??" He smiled.
"Yeah I like that !!" You smiled enthusiastically which made Smoke chuckle, If you had a tail it would be wagging almost out of control.
"Alright then we leave very soon, so I suggest we help each other pack for the day out." With that the two then quickly changed into their swim clothes and packed dry ones and a towel while Kuai filled a basket with food and water.
Y/n also packed their notepad and pencil too just incase they see anything interesting along the way to the lake.
They began they're walk to the lake, the summer sun working a sweat on all of you.
"Don't worry y/n we're nearly there" Smoke smiled and patted your shoulder.
"Ok..." You wiped the sweat off your forehead with your arm.
And within a few minutes you arrived at the lake, the water crystal clear, cool and inviting. "Go on then" Kuai smiled and sat down under the tree.
Y/n cheered and rushed into the water, diving in and just having a blast, Tomas dived in too, but you were distracted so he gave the most perfect opportunity and then swam up to you without even noticing and then he struck, lifting you up out of the water.
"What the. Tomas !!!" You giggled
"Ready, in 3... 2... 1... Go !!!" He then tossed you back into the water.
"NO" You yelled as you splashed in and swam back up, Tomas giving the most cheeky smile you have ever seen. Then it turns into a water fight oh boy was he going down. Kuai Liang smiled brightly watching you two play in the water. He's never seen Tomas this happy before, it warmed his heart to see how close you and him were. Just being able to let loose and have a bit of fun.
"Kuai Come on in !!' You yelled out to him, making him lose his train of thought. "I'm all good y/n" He declined polietly.
"Oh man..." You pouted.
"Hey I know something that might get him in" Tomas whispered to you.
"Oh ??"
He gently whispered into your ear as Kuai then looked back up into the sky and closed his eyes, taking in the soft breeze. It only lasted for a few seconds when he felt water splash onto him. Opening his eyes to find it was you as you laughed running back into the water.
"Come back here y/n" He smirked and rushed after you, diving into the water and swam for you.
"Tomas help me !!" You shrieked as you swam to him, but you didn't reach him in time as Kuai then caught you and started to tickle your sides.
"No !!" You giggled loudly, you had nowhere to go. Trapped in the clutches of kuai's tickle attack.
"That's what you get for splashing me." He smirked as he then let you go and splashed you.
"It came with some sacrifice but we got him into the water huh y/n" Tomas smirked and playfully nudged you.
"Don't think you're getting out of this too brother." He smirked and splashed him as well.
"Wha- hey !!" He smiled as he splashed back.
Another giant water fight ensued, one with lots of smiles and laughs, the three spent hours having fun in the water, it was much needed after many days of training.
After a fun day of swimming and being with your brothers you decided to make a new drawing about your day. You were going to make this the very best drawing the elder gods have ever seen. It took longer this time, showing how much love and care you were going to put into this drawing. After almost 45 minutes it was finished. It was beautiful, But before you showed them, you placed in the most important thing of the drawing, you, Tomas and Kuai.
"Guys I got something to show you !!" You smiled so brightly.
"Oh, what is it ??" Tomas asked.
You then showed them the drawing, placing it in front of them as they looked over, The lake day was perfectly drawn. So much love and care, and you had the stick figures in too.
"That's me, and Kuai and you. We're hugging each other like we did in the lake."
Both of them smile brightly and group hug you.
"This is very beautiful y/n, thank you so much" Kuai gently rubbed your shoulder blade and smiled.
"I love you guys..."
And if their hearts couldn't melt any further, You were their sibling, one of the Shirai Ryu. One who they would always protect no matter what the situation is. You were family.

Online Matchup 8
Summery: It’s Halloween and y/n’s hosting a party that she doesn’t even want. But not to fear, Jason’s there with an escape plan.
Warning: mistakes, alcohol, tipsy!reader, tired Jason, Ellie’s done with her siblings bullshit.
A/N: So sorry for the wait. I got overwhelmed with how many wips I have and stopped writing for a bit, and it doesn’t help that I don’t have internet. So, that’s fun. Hope you enjoy though! Chapter nine should be on its way soon.
Feedback is welcomed!
ao3 Part 1/2/3/4/5/6/7
——————
October 31
Ellie (7:30 am)
YOU WENT TO A GALA
WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND
AND DIDN’T TELL ME
Y/N
Not my boyfriend
Shouldn’t you be in school?
Ellie
Not yet anyways
Don’t worry about it
So?
Y/N
It was two days ago, Ellie
It was a last minute decision
Didn’t really have time to tell you anything
Ellie
Could have told me after
Or yesterday
But no, I find out from Conner who found out from Clark
Y/N
Who?
Ellie
Clark Kent
Conner’s uncle
Also Bruce Wayne’s best friend but I have doubts
Y/N
How? You’ve never met Bruce
Ellie
True, but the stories Conner told me about
Anyways, we’re not talking about that
We’re talking about you and going out with Jason
Looking all fancy and rubbing elbows with the rich
Y/N
Ew
Did you have to word it like that?
Ellie
Did you meet his family?
Y/N
Ellie
YOU DID
Tell me, are they as intimidating as Conner makes them out to be?
Y/N
They’re all dorks and you would fit right in
Trust me
They’re very curious and protective of Jason
But they’re good people
I like them
Ellie
Don’t let Jason hear you say that
Or he might think you’ll leave him
Y/N
Ellie, what the fuck
Ellie
That wasn’t me I swear
Y/N
Fuck off conner
If you want to talk to me use your own phone
Ellie
This is the type of relationship you two have, isn't it?
Y/N
You’ll have no peace, sorry
Ellie
Damn
So, how'd it go?
Y/N
Fine
His brothers hounded me with questions
Bruce made a speech about jason
And then we left to get some burgers
Ellie
You’re the worst at telling stories
Y/N
I don’t know what you want me to say
Ellie
You’re feelings about how in love you are with Jason
Y/N
I’m not having this conversation with Conner reading over your shoulder
Ellie
Boo you’re no fun
Y/N
Suck it Ellie
Jason (1:39 pm)
How’s it going today?
Y/N
I am not the biggest fan of Halloween
I’ve had three different people scare me today on campus
Tripped over some decorations
And my friend is bugging me for a key so she can decorate my apartment once her last class is finished
I don’t know why she needs my key, she has her own
Jason
Yikes
Y/N
Yikes doesn’t even cover half of it
I’m half tempted to hide in the library and not go to the party
Jason
But it’s your apartment
Y/n
That’s the worst thing!
I shouldn’t have agreed to throwing it there
I want sleep
Jason
I don’t think I’ve seen you sleep at a normal time
Y/N
You’re one to talk
You’re up at the oddest hours
I’m not surprised anymore when you text me at like 2 in the morning
Jason
Fair
You can always come sleep with me when you’ve had enough
Y/n
Sir, I’m not that kind of person
Jason
That is not what I meant
You know that
Y/n
Do I though?
Jason
Y/n I swear to god
Y/n
They’re your words, Jason
Do better
Jason
Sometimes, I hate
Y/n
No you don’t
Jason
No I don’t
What I mean is, you can always stay the night at my place.
To sleep, can even have the couch since that’s were you sleep most of the time
Y/n
I want to be offended
But your right
Jason
Aren’t I always?
Y/n
No
With the party in full swing, and friends practically drunk, you hadn’t had the chance to look at your phone.
Now hiding in your room a few hours later, you grabbed it and went through your notifications. Nothing too important until you said Jason’s text asking to call you. But it was sent at five, and you were pretty sure he meant then instead of now.
But curiosity got the better of you, and you called.
“Hey Jason,” Barbara’s voice cut through the line, distracting Jason a little. He grunted in reply, and retreated behind the dumpster. “Someone named Y/N is calling. What do you want me to do?”
“Put it through,” Jason answered, looking around the dumpster to see how many were left. Three were left, shouldn’t be a problem.
“Are you sure?”
“It’ll be fine,” he said and Barbara hummed before connecting the call. “Hey Little Bird. What’s up?”
“I don’t know, you were the one who wanted me to call you,” you answered. Jason furrowed his eyebrows.
“I don’t think so,” he said, moving to shoot the one standing up. He winced at the sound and hoped you didn’t hear it.
“Mm, pretty sure you did,” you said, and he heard movement from your end. As if you moved the one on away from your face. “Yeah, seven-forty you said call me.”
“That was four hours ago,” he reminded, and smiled when you laughed.
“Yeah, well, I’ve been busy with a party and all,” you said and he can picture you shrugging. “This a bad time?”
He took a moment to answer as he ducked down when the other two started shooting. “Uh, don’t know.”
“Is that…is someone shooting at you?” you asked and he grimaced at the question. So much for keeping you out of this. “Jason, are you okay?”
“No, there’s no shooting. And I’m fine,” he grunted out, letting out a noise when he felt something hit his shoulder. When did he move? He faintly heard you saying something, but wasn’t quite sure. Ducking behind something else, he took a deep breath before saying, “you don’t do parties.”
“No, I don’t,” you agreed, “but, as I said, my friend is hosting the Halloween party at my place tonight.”
“It’s Halloween?” he found himself asking.
“It is. Jason, are you sure you're okay?” you asked, concern dripping in your voice.
“Peachy,” he said, staying down as the other two started shooting him. Where was the backup when you needed it? “So, how’s the party anyways? Sounds like you're having fun.”
He heard you sniff and could picture you sticking your nose in the air. “I am not having fun,” you said dryly.
“You sure? You sound drunk,” he said and laughed when you squawked.
“I don't get drunk.” Jason hummed and let the silence stretch out before you begrudgingly added, “okay. Maybe maybe I’m a little drunk.”
“Thought so,” he said, “just go to bed.”
“I can’t,” you grumble, and Jason can picture you looking at your bed longingly.
“Why the fuck not?”
“Jason, there’s a full blown party out there and I can’t sleep knowing people are trying to get in my room for a hookup.”
“Tell me you locked the doors.”
“I’m not an idiot, Jason. But that doesn’t stop them from trying to get in. Four tries since I called, and each time I tell them that the room is busy.”
“That’s not so bad.”
“Okay yeah, but I want to sleep. I’m tired.”
“If you give me twenty minutes I’ll come by to pick you up.”
“Mm, tempting. But I’m also tempted to sneak out and go to the cafe where we first met.”
“You’re not leaving the apartment alone this late at night.”
“You can’t stop me.”
“I sure as hell can try.”
“I don’t see how, given that you’re probably across town.”
“I swear to god.”
You could have sworn you heard someone laughing, but in your drunken state you weren’t sure. “Well, I mean I could make you swear for a different purpose.”
There was a choking noise coming from Jason and you smiled. “Who knew you were a flirty drunk.”
“Not drunk, tipsy,” you reminded, and slowly opened your window, hoping Jason couldn’t hear it.
“Same thing in my books,” he said. You swore when the window creaked and stilled. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” you said a little too quickly.
“That sounded like a window opening,” Jason claimed, “please tell me you aren’t escaping through the window.”
“How do you know what a window opening sounds like?”
“Really? That’s your takeaway from this?”
“I mean, it’s not everyday you learn that someone knows what a window sounds like when someone opens it.”
“Did you open the window?” Jason asked, and you stayed quiet but it was an answer all the same. “Why?”
“Well I mean, there’s a fire escape like right there,” you defended, holding your phone between your cheek and shoulder. With both hands, you pushed open the window. “Ha!”
“Y/N,” Jason sighed out and you could picture him pinching his nose. Kind of like a dad when he sees his child do something stupid and questioning why they are like this. You wonder if that’s what he’s thinking about you, but you don’t care too much about that right now. “If you're going to do something like this, then keep me on the phone.”
“But won’t I disturb your family movie night?” you ask as you giggle the window screen off and slide it into your room. Once placed on the ground, you grab your keys and wallet before climbing through the window.
“I’m not watching a movie,” Jason said, confused.
“But I heard gunshots,” you reminded him, “it sounded like some western film.”
“Oh,” he said like he had forgotten. You paused on the steps, and looked up in concern when he didn’t say anything else.
“So you were getting shot at,” you questioned. Jason made a noise and you continued down the fire escape.
“No, no one was shooting at me,” Jason said, “brothers were playing a game, guess it was too loud.” You hummed as you concentrated on walking down the steps. “So, did you escape?”
“Do you want me to answer that truthfully?”
“You are, aren’t you?” Jason asked, sighing deeply.
“It’s a lot sturdier than you’d expect.”
“You say that like you’ve done this multiple times.”
“I like to sit outside sometimes,” you defended, “and sometimes I am too tired to go to the roof.”
“Why not just open a window?”
“Not the same,” you replied and kept going down the stairs.
“There’s no stopping you, huh?” Jason voiced and you kept quiet. “Just keep me on the phone while you're out at least.”
“I can do that…as long as my phone doesn’t die.”
“Do you ever charge your phone?”
“…yes.”
“I don’t believe you,” Jason teased, and you stuck out your tongue even though he couldn’t see you. “I’ll meet you at the cafe as soon as I can.”
“Might want to hurry, I think I’m going to sleep there if they let me.”
“I have no doubt,” Jason said, laughing.
“Your confidence in me is astounding.”
Your phone ended up dying halfway to the cafe, and Jason wasn’t going to let you live it down. No matter, you were almost there Jason was sure of it.
Quickly tying up the thugs he’s been dealing with while on the phone with you, Jason sent a message to Barbara before leaving.
“What? Done already?” Her basics filtered through the earpiece, surprised. “You’re never done this early. Got a date or something?”
“Or something,” he answered, starting his bike.
“Oh, come Jason!” Barbara exclaimed, “everyone else practically met them. It’s only fair that I know more. I did help you with your dating profile,” she reminded him.
Jason groaned and hung his head in defeat. “Fine! Fine,” he sighed out, ignoring the cheering in his ear. “Yes, I’m going to meet up with them after I’ve changed.”
“But I thought you were going to be out all night,” she said, “given that Y/n’s busy too.”
“Yeah, well. Plans change.”
“Are they okay?”
“Just a little tipsy and isn’t much for party’s. They just left for a cafe near town. Even though they didn’t listen when I told them not to and to wait for me. They insisted they go. So I told them I’d meet them there. Happy?”
“Extremely,” she sang, “and I’ll be even more happy when I get to meet them.”
“I will bring it up. Promise.”
“So, what was it? The motorcycle picture or the puppy that did it for the ?” Barbara teased, and Jason rolled his eyes.
“No idea, but feel free to ask when you two finally meet.”
“I have every intention to and share some stories of my own,” Barbara said and laughed as Jason groaned.
“Oh no.”
“Have fun,” she sang before signing off. Jason shook his head, and rode off back to his apartment.
A short while later, after he dropped by his apartment, he made his way to the cafe.
Parking his bike near the entrance of the building, he got off and looked through the window to see if he could spot you. He didn’t, and frowned hoping you made it safe.
Taking his helmet off, he made his way inside.
“Was wondering when you’d show up,” one of the barista’s called when he walked in.
“Traffic,” he explained, looking around. “Is Y/N here?”
He heard a sigh, and a thump from behind the counter. He turned his head to see a barista when her head was on the counter. “You okay?”
“Don’t mind her,” her coworker answered, waving his hand. “She’s just had to sit and listen to Y/N complain about school and how you were taking so long.”
“Right,” he hummed and looked towards the talk he was directed at. And there you were, head down using your arms as a pillow.
“She’s so tired it’s unreal,” May, after a quick look at her nag tag, groaned. “I can’t wait for Christmas break. That way, they can take a fucking break and sleep he break away. Between school and working, it feels like they don’t sleep.”
Jason hummed and made his way towards your table. “Hey,” he whispered once he reached you and gently placed a hand on your head. You stirred, barely lifted your head up. “Come on, I’ll take you home.”
“But there’s still a party there,” you groaned out, nuzzling further into your arms. “I don’t want to go back.”
“Okay. Counter offer, come to my place. Sleep there, it looks like you need it.”
That had gotten your attention as you lifted your head to glare at him. “Sir, you know just what to say to sweep a girl off their feet.”
Jason laughed and helped you up. “Come on, you’ll feel better once you get some sleep. Promise.”
“Mm,” you hummed, clutching his hand as you followed him outside, waving at the two friends as you passed by. “Bike?”
“What else?”
“It’s cold out,” you pointed out, sticking your tongue out as he set the helmet onto your head.
“Yeah, it keeps you awake though.”
“But it’s cold.”
“Why didn’t you bring your jacket?”
“It was not in the room when I made my escape,” you said, watching as he climbed onto the bike. You followed once he sat, and snaked your arms around his waist, settling your chin on his shoulder.
“You make it sound like you were held against your will,” he said, chuckling when you made a noise, stating that you practically were. “Alright, hold on tight.” That was your last warning, before he started the bike and took off.
You watched the city lights as Jason drove, in awe. You found, since moving to Gotham, that Gotham nights were much more pretty and peaceful then Metropolis. Granted, It wasn’t really safe with all the fighting and toxic gas’s being dispelled by the villain of the week. But it had its charm you fell in love with.
You shivered slightly as the cold air blew past you and felt Jason pick up the speed a little. You couldn’t help but smile at the tiny gesture. He was right though, the cold air does keep you awake.
Watching the lights whiz by, letting your mind wonder. Mat wasn’t kidding when she said you don’t sleep. Between classes, work and your personal projects, you’ve kind of neglected sleep in order to focus on everything else.
Sure, you get a couple hours of sleep, and naps. But it isn’t enough and it’s starting to take its toll on you. Sighing deeply, you tightened your grip and closed your eyes. Christmas break couldn’t come sooner.
You felt the bike slow, causing you to open your eyes. You waited until he parked and shut it off before climbing off. “That was thrilling,” you mumble out through a yawn.
“Would you like another ride?” Jason asked, helping you take off the helmet.
“Definitely,” you answered with a nod, “though maybe when it’s warmer and I’m not prone to fall off your bike due to sleep deprivation.”
Jason laughed, and tugged you into the building. “That’s fair. Now, let’s get you something to drink and eat before getting you to bed.”
“Sounds nice,” you said sleepily. “Is your couch comfy? I feel like it might not be.”
“Now that’s just mean,” he said, stopping short in front of his door. You nearly bumped into him and groaned out his name. “Sorry, but you might need to stay out here for a bit.”
“Did you leave your dirty laundry out or something?” you asked, rubbing your nose. You stepped back all the same instead of pushing it.
“Something like that,” he answered and you watched him unlock the door and stepped in. He closed it quickly, not giving you a chance to look inside. You shrugged and looked around the dimly lit hallway before turning to lean your back on the wall beside the door.
You closed your eyes, letting your head fall back against the wall with a small thump. It was strange, being at Jason’s apartment for the first time. And to sleep instead of being awake and hanging out. But you were giddy all the same.
Yes, you trusted Jason not to do anything with you. And you liked him enough to be okay with sleeping over at his place. It’s not the first time you’ve slept in the same place. And just remembering how warm you felt with Jason’s arms around you sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
“Alright, it’s safe to come in,” Jason’s sudden voice beside you made you jump slightly. “Sorry. Didn’t realize you were sleeping.”
“Not sleeping,” you said, pushing him back in as you walked through the door. “Just resting my eyes.”
Jason hummed and put his hands on your shoulder and steered you into the kitchen. He gently made you sit, before setting a cup of water and a plate of toast in front of you. “Slowly. The. You can have a shower and change out of…whatever costume you have on.”
“You’re an angel.”
“Some would say I’m not.”
“Then they can fight me,” you said, taking a bite out. “And how dare you. Not recognizing the greatest hero of all.”
Jason looked you over slowly, and you tried not to flush. “Yeah, I'm still not getting it.”
“Wonder Women,” you said through another bite of toast. “Sure, it’s not the greatest costume. But it’s the thought that counts.”
“Would you like a change of clothes? I doubt it would be comfy to sleep in.”
“If you don’t mind,” you said with a smile. “I would appreciate it.”
“No problem,” he said, kissing the top of your head before leaving the room. You flushed slightly and finished the rest of your food. It felt all so normal, like you did this everyday. And that thought made you giddy.
“Okay, the sweatpants might be a little big and so is the shirt. But they should be fine.”
“Thanks Jason. That means a lot,” you said, getting up to hug him. He returned it with a smile and shooed you into the bathroom.
Once showered and dressed, you walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed. “Jason?”
“In here,” he called and you followed the voice until you reached the bedroom. “This is your room for the night.”
“I thought I was taking the couch,” you question, leaning against the doorframe, watching as he was getting it ready.
Jason snorted and gave you a look. “Please, I would never do that to you. Besides, it’s not as comfortable as the bed.”
“So you’re going to take the couch?” Jason nodded, and you bit your lip in thought. And before you could change your mind, you bit out, “or, now hear me out. We could share the bed. It’s not like it’s happened before.” You're blaming the alcohol for it, and you can't regret it.
Jason looked up at you with raised eyebrows. “Are you sure?”
“Yeah,” you said with a nod. “I’m sure. We’re just sleeping right? The worst that can happen is cuddling in the middle of the night.”
“Okay,” he laughed and with that, the two of you climbed into bed. You were more tired than you thought, you fell asleep the minute your head hit the pillow.
For Jason, it took a lot longer for sleep to reach him. He turned over, and looked at you for a moment before slipping his arm underneath you. With his other, he wrapped it around your waist and pulled you closer. And only then he could fall asleep, but not with the thought of how dangerous this could be.
But he found that he didn’t care.

[ 3:02 AM ]. dot barrett/reader. drabble. fluff.
Tumblr media
"why the hell are you still awake?"
dot asks in that deep kind of voice that you like, trying to ward off the remains of sleep, it makes you visibly jump, but nonetheless soothing. you know he's not mad, actually, he's more confused than mad.
"crap- sorry, uhm. i promise i'll sleep soon."
"are you still," he stifles his yawn, failing as small tears coat around the edge of his eyes. "still watching that..winky mae or somn" you feel comforting arms sneaking up around your waist, pulling you in his. your back pressed against his warm chest.
"it's maya winky, sleepyhead" you hear him grumble, as if your correction solves anything.
he doesn't really get why you watch her videos frequently. you always claimed it helps you sleep better at night, but honestly, who would believe you when the clock's practically screaming across your shared bedroom, and you still ignore them as you suppress your giggles watching her do your silly makeup or whatever instead.
his grip on you tightens just slightly. mumbling against the skin of your neck, effortlessly making you shiver. "go to sleep. now."
“it’s still a bit early, just a few more minutes and i’ll-”
“now. come sleep with me this time.”
his poor choice of words makes you suffer, your face heats at a concerning degree. and even though you can’t see his expression, it’s one with faint smugness. as if he said it with purpose, with an intent to render you speechless.
it’s not everyday you get to see him like this. dot has had enough, he has to make you listen at some point, the sadness that lingers whenever you excuse to not sleep together as he tells you its fine (a pout on his lips that wrench your heart with guilt) accumulates to this moment. he normally wouldn’t have been this bold, and perhaps you’re blaming it on his weariness, the limits he had constrained himself suddenly worn down on his bones.
“but..” you don’t get to finish your sentence once he starts to invade your neck with lazy kisses, your breathe caught on your throat. “dot wait” he won’t stop, in fact, the way you struggle fuels him even more.
he gently turns you as you face him, insisting. he takes his time to carefully plant his kisses on the slope of your collarbone, the curve of your shoulders, to your chin. they’re meticulous and gentle, it’s kind of sweet, if not for the fact that he’s doing it to make you distracted.
and you do get distracted, you’re not sure when he snatched the phone from your grasp. but it now rests at the top of your nightstand and you don’t think you’ll be needing it anytime soon. your hands busy themselves massaging and combing dot’s hair, he sighs with contentment, and everything tastes like forever.
he’s so pretty like this. his headband being out of sight, his cheeks—though dim as your room may be, the moonlight spills itself on your window and you can see the pink in his complexion this up close. you cup his cheeks for him to look at you, brushing a few strands that sticks to his face and he pecks your nose in response.
“fine.” a chuckle escaping from you that leaves him breathless, “you win.”
“i always do.” he smiles, “and from just a few kisses? i thought i was the one whipped for you here.”
“you don’t think i feel the same?”
the pink turns a little more deep tinted. “ah, but you chose may wink over me”
“maya winky. and no, that’s not true.” with that, comes a long yawn escaping your lips. dot snickers. “to make up for it, how 'bout we cuddle like this together before bed? you can hide my phone somewhere too so i won’t feel tempted.”
“i like what i’m hearing.”
you can’t help but giggle. “and i like you”
“i like you, more”
“nuh uh”
“am too!”
“nuh uh”
"am too"
“just go to bed already”
he pinches your cheek as you wince. “let’s go to bed.”
you slept soundly. limbs tangled and entwined and body’s warm. guess you don’t need that damn phone from now on, and if you do wind up in the same spot once more, you grant your boyfriend the permission to spoil you with kisses, so so much kisses. inevitably falling (for him) into slumber.

"Another, please" Dad Kai Anderson X Mom Reader
A/N: its christmas time, so i thought i would give you all a gift<3 THIS DOES INCLUDE SMUT!!!
Work. Absolutely destructing. but thankfully it was friday and the rest of my day was focused on spending time with Kai and our 4 year old daughter, Nova. i was just so ready to plop down on the soft couch with a glass of red wine in my grasp. i pulled out of the packed parking garage and onto the busy road. traffic was being a pain in the ass, so naturally i took back roads and arrived home about 20 minutes early. i was so exhausted, but everything changed when i opened the door, just to see kai sitting on the floor with a crown on his head. and our daughter nova sitting across from him. "mommys home! look daddys a princess!" she said jumping up and pointing at him. i softly chuckled. "i didnt expect you to be home yet..." kai said taking the crown off and walking over to me with nova. "awh... you were so pretty" i said brushing the hair out of his face. he let out a scoff. "what? your just being a good dad" i said picking up nova. i pressed a small kiss on kais cheek. "i wanna kiss!" nova exclaimed reaching for her father. she cupped his face and pecked his nose. kai kissed her forehead. "ok, how about mommy can go give you a bath then we can watch a movie?" kai asked our daughter. "yeah!" she said very happily. i smiled at kai while i took nova upstairs into the bathroom. i couldnt stop thinking how sweet kai is with nova, its made him into a completely new person. although he wants her to be the leader of "Fear Is Truth" when he dies, he doesnt want her being around too much while shes still very young. it always reminds me of when i found out i was pregnant, kai made EVERYONE know if they even touched me, he would kill them. hes very protective of his daughter, shocking. i snapped out of my little mind trance when nova was tapping my leg. "mommy? wheres the water?" she asked sitting in the empty tub. "oh baby, im sorry. mommy got a bit distracted" i said turning the knobs on the wall. soon warm soapy water filled the tub. "bubbles!" she exclaimed smiling and blowing them in front of herself.
After her bath we walked back downstairs as kai scrolled through HBO. "hi daddy!" she smiled, running over to him. she climbed onto the couch and bounced eagerly. "movie!" she exclaimed. i sat down next to her. i ran my hand through her hair. "shh baby, calm down". "ok!" she was very bright and happy about everything. we looked for movies until suddenly she turned over to look at kai. "daddy? why is your hair blue but mine isnt...i want blue hair! im tired of brown" she said pouting. me and kai laughed. "well...i have hair dye in my hair" he said looking over at her. "i want!" she said smiling. "ummm...we'll see" i said looking at her. finally kai settled on a movie. not even halfway through, nova was fast asleep, laying on her fathers thigh. i paused the movie. "hm?" kai said loudly. i quickly shushed him. but when he opened his mouth to protest, i pointed to nova. "ohh" he whispered. he picked her up and took her to her room. i stayed on the couch. i sat there thinking. i wanted something, but i didnt know what.
Wine
i got up and scanned the kitchen for our wine. my eyes landed upon it and i poured me a glass. by the time i finished pouring it kai had come back down. i took a few sips. he come behind me and looked over my shoulder. "let me taste" he spoke. i turned around to hand him the glass but he gently moved my hand away. he pressed his lips to mine. i set the glass on the counter. my hands snaked their way around his head. next thing i know were on the couch. his lips still connected to mine. "babe...i want another" he mumbled against my lips. "really?" i said laughing a bit. "maybe..." i said before kissing him again. "wanna try" he asked. "sure" i agreed. his hands worked quick of my pants. mine doing the same to his. we removed piece after piece of clothing from each other. i could feel his clothed cock rub against me. he took off my panties as i worked on his boxers. his red and hard cock sprung free, hitting his lower stomach. pre cum leaked from his tip. i could feel my wetness grow from the sight of him above me. he simply stroked himself a few times, before pressing his tip into me. "oh fuck..." i moaned. he adjusted a bit before thrusting slowly, but deep. he let out a soft groan. his hands held onto my waist, and my legs were tight around him. his pace became faster after some time "ohhh yeahh" he moaned. i felt myself growing closer to my orgasm. "kai! yes, your doing so great." i yelped throwing my head back. "shh quiet" he said before kissing my neck. i whined. my orgasm was so close and i was going to be hard to keep quiet. the knot in my stomach twisted and churned. "oh fuck im so close" i whine. "shit....mmph...me too" was all he was able to get out. he thrusted harder and harder and finally i came. thankfully we knew we were going to be loud so we clamped eachothers mouth shut. his seed flew into me. maybe we will have another.

Echoes of Starcourt: A different fate
Okay, so this is my first post here on tumblr. I've recently been rewatching Stranger Things and I'm not ready to deal with Billy's death at the end of season 3 once again... So I decided to write this little thing to make this more bearable for me... and maybe you as well :) English is not my first language, so please be kind and ignore any spelling or grammar mistakes! Word Count: 2.5k Content Warning: angst, blood, description of blood and injuries, violence, language
Plot: You know about everything regarding the Upside Down and its creatures. But when you see how Billy wants to sacrifice himself to save Eleven, you simply can't let him do that and decide to step in.
Tumblr media
The last thing you remembered was Billy hitting you hard enough that your head hit the wall and knocked you out - just that it wasn’t Billy, he was possessed. Possessed by the Mind Flayer and forced to work for the Spider Monster, the thing that attacked you and your friends only a few minutes ago inside of Starcourt mall. You were with Mike, Eleven and Max, trying to escape Billy that had found you.
It took you some time to regain consciousness, you sat up only slowly, leaning against the wall behind you. Your head hurts, the spot where Billy’s hand had hit you still feeling a little numb. Someone kneeled next to you and when you look up, you recognize Max, with a small bruise on her cheek as well. She looks at you worried.
“Are you guys okay?”, you instantly ask. You take a deep breath to regain your composure and focus on the situation.
“We’re okay, what about you?”, Max asks and makes you look at her. You quickly nod and brush a strand of hair from your face, when you notice that neither Eleven nor Billy are still around.
“Where is Eleven? And Billy?”
“He must’ve taken her with him, to bring her to the Spider Monster. The Mind Flayer wants to eliminate her”, Mike tells you and your eyes widen.
“Shit, we need to save her!”
With that, you get back on your feet and tell the two kids with you to follow you. The three of you run back the hallways, looking for a sign about where El and Billy went. When you reach the main hall of Starcourt, you are greeted by a scene of horror and only just manage to avoid attracting attention and hide behind one of the store's platforms. Shocked, you watch as Billy stands behind the floored Eleven and simply looks up at the Spider Monster, who has come back to get El. Just as the monster is about to attack Eleven, fireworks are suddenly set off to distract the monster. The rest of the troupe, split into groups, throw fireworks from the 4th of July downwards at the Spider Monster: Lucas and Will on one side, Steve and Robin on the other and Jonathan and Nancy from yet another side to cause as much chaos and confusion as possible. Eleven tries to seize the moment and crawl away, but Billy gets hold of her and drags her back. He holds her forcibly on the ground and stares into her eyes, from a distance you can only just make out that the girl is talking to him.
You are in shock, for the moment you can only observe what is happening, but at some point... at some point the fireworks stop again. Billy slowly straightens up as the Spider Monster turns back to Eleven. Your eyes widen as you realize he's trying to stop the monster, see that the old Billy is back. Eleven has somehow managed to stop the Mind Flayer's possession of Billy.
The monster opens its mouth and finally tries to grab Eleven, but Billy grabs the tentacle and struggles against it with all his strength. Both you and Max pause in shock, paralyzed for a moment as this happens.
"No... No, no, no..." you mutter to yourself, and as you see the monster slowly spinning off more tentacles from its fleshy arms, it dawns on you what Billy will face if no one does anything. Your body switches to autopilot, you simply react instinctively.
"You grab Eleven as soon as you can," you say in a surprisingly firm voice to the two kids next to you.
"What are you going to do?" Max asks immediately, but you don't wait any longer, every second counts from here on in. The spider monster wants to sink its claws into Billy, while you now climb out of your cover and simply sprint off. Behind you, out of the corner of your eye, you can see Mike and Max doing the same, but unlike you, they run straight to Eleven and help her get to safety. You, on the other hand, sprint straight towards the danger, your eyes focused solely on Billy. The spider monster seems to notice you, but just as it is about to stab Billy, you finally reach him. Using all your physical strength, you throw yourself against Billy, pulling him with you and out of the tentacles' field of fire. Not a second too soon, the spider monster misses Billy by a hair's breadth.
It doesn't hit Billy, but it does hit you in the shoulder. A searing pain jolts through you as you fall to the ground with Billy, and you immediately feel the blood from the wound start to run down your arm. Nevertheless, it is more important for you to get to safety with Billy, at least for the moment. You crouch down behind a large pot of flowers, both completely out of breath, and press your bodies against the cool material of the pot.
“What the hell did you do, Y/L/N?”, Billy asks and you look at him. For the first time for hours, you can see his normal skin again, not covered in black veins anymore.
“I saved your ass, Hargrove”, you reply and take a first, brief look at the wound on your shoulder. It doesn’t seem to be that deep, but still, it bleeds more than expected.
“Fuck”, Billy curses under his breath when he sees your wound as well, but you’re quick to shake your head.
“We can deal with it later, for now we have to survive this”, you say and look around for a way to escape. Suddenly, you feel something on your leg, and when you look down at it, you see one of the Spider Monster’s tentacles wrapped around it. Your eyes widen, when the monster already pulls you out of your hideout and right into the air. Billy tried to grab you, but he wasn’t quick enough, so now the Spider Monster got you instead of him. It guides you towards its mouth, and you panic once you realize what its about to do. You look around, franticly looking for something to either hold on to or defend yourself with.
Your eyes lock on a flagpole, the flag of the United States ripped apart almost completely. When you reach out, your hands only get ahold of the flag, and it’s quick to rip apart completely, making you yell in distress. Luckily, Steve was quick enough to figure out your plan, he yells your name.
In the next second, he throws a broken flagpole your way, luckily far enough for it to be in your range. Your breath is rapid, and you try everything to wait for the right moment once you caught the pole. You can hear your friends screaming for you to do it, but it’s not the time yet. Right when the Spider Monster opens its mouth to let out its biggest tentacle, you take all of your strength left, ignore the tremendous pain in your shoulder, and sling the pole right into the mouth of that monster, throwing it like a spear. When the broken tip of the pole hits the mouth, the monster roars out a horrifying scream, lets go of your leg and stumbles back, obviously in pain. You fall down onto the ground, screaming in pain yourself when you land right on the wound of your shoulder. Still, you’re quick to turn back around and you see how the monster stumbles right back at you, threatening to tramp you down. In the last second possible, you throw your body to the side, trying to use your injured arm now as little as possible while still escaping this situation. You hide behind one of the pillars supporting the second floor of the hallway, looking through the main hall, breathing heavily. Your eyes lock with Billy’s for a moment and you realize that he made it to where Max, Mike and El are hiding, before you look back at where the Spider Monster is still faltering around. It’s still screaming, but it turned into a scream of frustration rather than one of pain.
You watch as the creature trips and falls, flinching every now and then, before finally becoming quiet, its limbs completely slack. Silence takes over Starcourt, nobody dares to say or do anything, nobody is sure whether it’s over or not.
A few minutes later, the military barges in, securing the area and the body of the Spider Monster. Afterwards, they escort everyone out of the mall, closing it for good. Outside, various ambulances and firetrucks are already waiting, paramedics immediately taking care of everyone visibly injured. You sit down in one of the ambulances and they take a look at your shoulder, making sure nothing is either infected nor are any bones broken from your fall. They put your shoulder in a bandage and your arm in a sling so you don’t move it anymore. It’s obvious that they wanted you to go to the hospital, but you’re quick to decline, wanting to know whether all your friends are safe. So, they reluctantly let you go, insisting that you go to a doctor if your pain gets worse. You only nod and leave the ambulance again, looking around for your friends. You’re quick to find Max, the bruise on her cheek was the only than that had to be checked on, and when she sees you, she quickly runs over to throw herself into your arms.
“It’s alright Max, we’re all okay”, you whisper to the young girl and return her embrace with one arm, feeling how she relaxes again.
“Thank you. For saving Billy, I mean, and for still being alive”, she quietly says and looks up at you, to what you only smile and nod. You always got along well with the small Mayfield, she always told you how she sees a big sister in you, so you can only imagine how relieved she feels that her ‘big sister’ is still alive. And saved her big brother.
You look around for Billy, but can’t find him in the crowd, instead, your eyes land on Eleven. And she looks sad.
“You should go and look after El, something’s wrong”, you say to Max and gesture towards her friend. Max looks at Eleven and then back to you, before nodding and running off to Eleven. You look after her, taking a deep breath.
Suddenly, someone gently puts a blanket over your shoulders, careful about not hurting your injured one. You look to your left, kind of expecting Nancy, but when you see Billy, you raise your eyebrows. He looks a lot better already: his eyes got back this sparkle he always had, his skin looks a lot more rosy and human again, no sign of those black veins left. He doesn’t sweat much as well, he looks healthy again.
“You risked your life back in there for me”, he states after looking at you for a moment, as well. He points at your bandaged shoulder.
“Got hurt because you didn’t want me to die.”
You shrug one shoulder and smile gently.
“Of course I didn’t want you to die. Nobody deserves to die, especially not in a brutal way like this”, you reply and look back front for a moment.
“I was an asshole, to everyone, to you as well. I never treated anyone good, I even hit you there in the mall!”, he tries to argue, but you shake your head.
“That wasn’t you, Billy. It was that thing, it made you do things you didn’t want to. So don’t worry”, you reassure him and look into his eyes calmly. You can see his confusion, his guilt and most of all… fright.
“I can explain you everything you want, but we can do that later. You’re scared, I understand and it’s completely normal. For now, we can be happy to all still be alive, it’s alright”, you say in a soft voice. When you found out about the Upside Down and everything around it, it was a lot for you as well, but Billy was thrown into the picture in a completely different way, a way darker one.
“I can help you, a little at least. If you want to, of course”, you offer and wait for his answer. Billy being Billy, he’d be too proud to accept any kind of help, but maybe… maybe this time it’s different.
Billy is silent for quite a while, averting his gaze from you, clearly thinking hard. Finally, he turns back to you and looks you in the eyes, real and honest.
“I did a lot of bad things, both before and during this… possession, but… if you’re really willing to help me- I’ll gladly take your help”, he answers and you raise your eyebrows, a little surprised at how easily he gave in. But then, you smile gently at him.
“Of course, Billy. I’ll help you.”
He looks at you, his eyes never leaving your face. You look right back at him, seeing something else in his eyes, something you’ve never seen before: Gratitude.
“Thank you. Nobody ever saved my life before. Let alone risked their own life for it.”, Billy whispers and leans in a little closer, making you gulp with both his words and his actions. He’s close, you can already feel his breath on your skin, and instantly, you feel hot. It’s not that you’re inexperienced or too innocent for a kiss, it’s rather… Billy’s history with women and how he treated them. Billy seems to notice about your hesitation, a gentle smile appears on his lips and he brushes a strand of hair away from your face.
“I know what you think, but it’s nothing like that. I’m grateful for what you did for me, and I want to give you at least something back.”
He examines your whole face, a softness in his gaze you never saw before. Billy never acted like this.
“So, can I kiss you?”
You gulp again, taking a deep breath.
“Play with my feelings and I might just kill you myself”, you say, the threat in your words at least partly serious. Billy laughs softly, nodding.
“Understood, hot stuff. I won’t play with your feelings”, he assures you and gently wraps an arm around your waist to pull you in closer. You take a deep breath and nod, finally giving him the signal he wanted. He doesn’t waste another second, leaning in and softly kissing you. His lips feel soft and gentle on yours, not like you always thought they would. Billy’s whole body language speaks nothing truth and affection, he really is thankful for what you did for him. And it makes you just all the more attractive for him. Way more than you already were before.
And he really means it this time.

The Doctor Is Out (Dr. Flug x Reader) [Headcanons]

Characters I Will Write For

Summary: General Dr. Flug dating headcanons/What is dating Dr. Flug like?
You thought he was a nervous wreck before? You've never seen him on a date. Before a date, for that matter.
After asking you out to a museum that recently opened outside the Hat Island, he dragged himself to his room and.. screamed into his pillow. Leaving 5.0.5. decently concerned.
He paced around his lab, wracked with anxiety. Oh god, oh god--what is he going to do?! Did he still look alright?? He paused his anxious strides to look at himself in his full-body mirror that he practically pulled out of nowhere. I guess he looked alright-? Or did he need to change his shirt again? Oh--crap he should probably take off his gloves.. or should he? He's always had normally sweaty hands, not including his nerves getting the best of him.. Yeah, the gloves are staying on.
Not to mention how Demencia is teasing him every minute she gets while Flug is writing out a plan. Yeah, you heard me right, this faceless man has an entire 24-step written plan for this date. He can't go without a plan, right? He doesn't want to mess up in front of you, either..
Some ridiculous, unreasonable, irrational part of him thinks maybe you won't show up. Obviously, he doesn't know any better to know how much you love him. Then again, if he knew, I don't think he'd last.
The museum went way better than he expected! There just happened to be a jet plane exhibit, and suddenly his 24-step plan has made its way to a nearby trash can. Don't get me wrong, his nerves were definitely still there, and not going anywhere anytime soon. He was just glad that he didn't draw you away with his possibly unending rambling about different types of aircraft.
The two of you stayed in the museum until it closed at 4 p.m. The time seemed to fly by, and at some point during the date you had held his hand. Poor Flug was too distracted, that he only noticed your interlocked hands when the both of you were leaving the building. He's blushing like a maniac now. As if the red tint on his face couldn't get any worse, before you left, you kissed him on his cheek. You kissed him on his cheek. His bones turned to ice, frozen in place. Later that night, he couldn't get his mind off of you. He's not washing his bag for a while. Not like he washed it in the first place.
So, you two are dating! In a relationship! Dr. Flug refuses to believe it, but every morning kinda forces him to. Though, sometimes he gets a bit overwhelmed with the attention, so when this happens, you give him the day to compose himself again.
He's happy with the attention, though! More than happy, he's honestly never received such affection before and.. he enjoys it.
Some days, you'll just have hang-out dates! For example, Dr. Flug is undergoing a heavy project and asks you to come over for comfort. He'll even ask you for help with his experiments from time to time! Don't worry, he wouldn't involve you in anything too dangerous, he's not cruel. Well, not to you..
If we're talking about Dr. Flug here, at least one date has to go wrong. Thankfully, it's almost never his fault. He's, unfortunately, slightly popular with heroes. Not that he, himself, as a villain is popular, but rather him being known under the Blackhat name has drawn in some unwanted attention from heroes.
What does this mean for the two of you? Well, worst case scenario, a hero has such a huge grudge against Flug that they are determined to ruin your date. According to Dr. Flug, there's only a 1.117% chance of this happening, so you shouldn't have to worry too much.
Afterwards, he feels horrible that your date went to crap. He apologizes profusely, even if you forgive him in the first place, he'll continue to feel bad. All he wants is for you to be happy, and it feels like he's failed you. But the fact that you're still here with him is more than enough proof that you're far from giving up on him, if ever.
On days where you would stay inside with him, whether it be a stormy night or just a long day for you, sometimes he'd turn around from whatever he was working on when you don't respond to him, and he'll find you resting peacefully next to 5.0.5. The sight warms his heart, as he moves to grab a blanket for you, and dims the lights in his lab slightly.
With you asleep, and now with him and nothing to work on, he now has time to think. And for some reason, no thoughts come to him. Surprising to his usually busy brain.
One thought came to him, eventually. Watching you rest soundly in the now dim-lighted room, your chest lifting up and down with your soft breaths, made him realize how lucky he truly is.
Then, he came up with an idea. He didn't want your dreaming to be disturbed, did he? He grabbed a piece of notepaper, tape, and a marker. Opening his door slightly, he taped up the scratch-made sign titled:
"The Doctor is Out"

Tumblr media Tumblr media
-
May chews on her bottom lip watching where you sit on the couch, there’s a movie going but she can tell you haven’t been paying attention to it, you seem caught up in your head. As you have for the past week or so.
She had noticed the change almost immediately and tried to give you moments where you could tell her what was wrong in subtle ways; taking you to ice cream just the two of you, walking in the park with no distractions around, spending a few extra minutes combing your hair in the morning— none of it seems to be working. Even Peter has noticed your drop in energy and enthusiasm about playing with your toys or wanting to help cook dinner like you normally do.
It’s what May’s doing right now, most nights it’s you and May cooking while Peter’s out on patrol so he’ll have a warm meal to come home to. It doesn’t feel the same not having you next to her as she stirs vegetables around in an oiled pan, you weren’t there to list off each vegetables name or measure out the oil and May thinks it’s making the food look a little depressing.
She sighs and clicks the stove off, shaking her head to herself before turning towards the living room. She can’t take how quiet the normally loud and busy apartment is.
“Bug? Can I talk to you for a minute?” Your head turns to May with a nod as she slides onto the couch beside you.
“I’ve noticed you’ve been a bit quiet lately and I just wanted to ask if everything’s alright? You know you can talk to me about anything.” A reassuring smile spreads over May’s face, staying quiet for a second to give you time to process the question and think your answer over. She knows when you regress it can be more difficult to answer heavier questions as quickly as you normally would.
“M’okay. Just feel kinda bad.” Her brow furrows as one of her hands comes to cup your cheek, concern clear as day on her face.
“Feel bad about what honey?”
“I’ve felt smaller then usual, I don’t like it.” You huff and May shakes her head.
“Why don’t you like it? You know I’ll watch over you no matter what.” It’s something that you joke about often, how May can’t refuse any caregiving role when her nephew is a boy that can climb on ceilings at any moment he so pleases.
“Can’t do as much when I’m smaller, I need more help and stuffs.” You shrug, shoulders hunched in a way that makes Mays chest ache.
“Oh sweetheart I’ll always help you, you regressing younger doesn’t change how much I love taking care of you.” Her thumb brushes softly against your cheek, eyes wide and caring when you look up to meet them.
“You sure?” You ask quietly. May’s mouth falls slightly ajar before she pulls you into her arms, squeezing tight like she does with every hug, tucking her chin atop your head with a shaky breath.
“Of course I’m sure, I’d never stop taking care of you.” You nuzzle a little further into May with a nod, letting yourself relax into her hold, letting the anxiety you’ve felt for weeks slip away and the comfort May brings replace it.
“Now, wanna come help make dinner Bug? Peter should be home soon.”

Proof Positive 5
a/n: holy shit its been a month and a half since i updated this. sorry lol.
series masterlist
Tumblr media
Time began to get faster. You were getting used to pregnancy and all the lovely symptoms that go along with it–you learnt to combat your nausea with ginger ale, you were getting very good at timing your naps to keep you going through the day, and you always have a pack of Tums on you for your heartburn. And you had gotten into a good routine, now adjusting to your time difference to Ross. Though that would be over soon.
You’d manage to wrangle a trip to the Dirty Hit office in LA, all in the name of business, conveniently at the same time the band would be in LA for Coachella. You missed Ross so much, and he missed you. You were both ecstatic about the fact that you were going to see each other again, even if it was only for a little over a week.
You had a day to get settled in LA, in the 20s era 3-bedroom in West Hollywood that Dirty Hit had put you up in for your ten days stateside. You had to share, of course–your bosses were kind to you but they weren’t that kind. Adam would be staying with you, not that you minded, you were close with him and always enjoyed his company. And then, in a stroke of luck, you managed to organise for Ross to stay with you two officially, without suspicion.
You could barely contain your excitement as the two men pulled up in an uber outside the house. You couldn’t help but run out to see them as you heard the car engine. With a wide grin, you welcomed them in.
You chatted with them both, asking about how the tour was going and all that–even though Ross told you everything, you had to keep up appearances. You knew you wouldn’t be able to keep up the act for long, so you relished in the sneaky glances, the sly inside jokes, and just the exhilaration of your own secret.
That evening the band had a show at the Roxy–a tiny venue, 600 people tops. And you were lucky enough to be one of them.
You beamed with pride watching them. Your boys. Though for most of it, you just couldn’t take your eyes off of Ross. You didn’t have a great view from the side of the stage, but at least you were on the right side to only be a few feet away from him, feeling his bass notes vibrate through you each and every time he plucked a note.
You prayed no one noticed when he gave you a wink after you let out a particularly loud cheer. You could watch him forever, so lost in the music, he wasn’t thinking about anything else–not a shred of self-consciousness to be seen. This was when he was the most beautiful.
That night you laid in your bed, still thinking of him. You could still hear Adam watching something on the TV, he would surely see you go into Ross’ room. You had to talk to Ross.
“Hi,” he whispered, answering your call.
“Wish Ad would just go to sleep!” You answered in a hushed whisper of your own.
He chuckled. “Miss me, darlin’?”
“Like you wouldn’t believe…”
He stayed silent, thinking for a moment. “Why don’t I go out there and make a brew and distract him and you-” A cough. “-sneak in?”
“Well off you go then!”
Ross hung up the phone and you heard his door creak open. There was muffled chatter between the two men, and the rumble of the electric kettle. It had to be quick, and it had to be now.
You gently opened your bedroom door. As you peered to the living room just down the hall and saw Adam and Ross in the kitchen just past it. On tiptoes, you snuck into Ross’ bed, now you just had to wait for him.
After a couple minutes he joined you, laughing at seeing you all cuddled up in the covers–right up to your chin.
“You made yourself right at home, huh?”
You didn’t answer, just patted the space next to you. After placing his hot cup of tea on the nightstand, he laid down beside you. Finally you felt at home again, tucked into his side.
You could finally kiss him again, and relished in that fact. Across his lap, with one of his hands placed firmly on your thigh to keep you there, you were practically one step away from breathing him in.
You couldn’t stop your body from moving against his, grinding on him in hopes of eliciting one of the filthy groans you’d become so addicted to. Once you did, it was a personal victory.
Soon the air in the room became stifling. As you reached for the bottom of the oversized t-shirt–that may have been Ross’ at some point in the past, Ross grabbed your hand.
“What?” You asked, barely above a whisper.
“Adam is right out there, and I can’t be quiet right now, and I know you can’t be either,” he whispered back.
You sighed in frustration. “I know…”
You rolled off of his lap to lay down beside him in a huff. He was right, no matter how sour you felt, you didn’t want this moment to be the one where someone finally catches you.
You looked over at Ross, who was now sipping his tea. He looked so beautiful in the dim, yellow light. It was just dark enough to obscure all the little details of his face–details you already had memorised–but the light still bounced off the skin of his cheeks, you could see his smile.
~~~
It had been suffocatingly warm all day at the festival grounds. You couldn’t complain, it was Coachella–and you really couldn’t complain, lest anyone figure out all your sufferings together equalled around your tenth week of pregnancy. Ross had been by your side for most of the day, always getting you water and any snacks you felt like. Really the entire band was protective of you the whole day, and Rome as well–they all checked up on you, like real friends.
It got dark quickly, and with that, a chill ran through the air that you just couldn’t shake. Your whole group was huddled in a small tent set up as the green room, anyone and everyone was there–girlfriends, assistants, family, and you. You sat on a metal fold-out chair in the corner of the room, sipping the bottle of far-too-expensive water that was put on the band’s rider. You held your arms around yourself in an effort to keep warm, though that was difficult given the fact that you were just wearing a tank top and jeans, not even considering the weather.
“You alright?” Ross whispered from his seat next to yours in between the lulls of conversation as it inched closer and closer to the band’s set time.
You looked around the room, everyone was in their own worlds, leaving you and Ross alone–a luxury that was rare in the past few days. “Yeah, just…nauseous,” you answered in a hush whisper of your own.
“I’m sorry, darling, how long left until it’s over? A month?”
“Three weeks, and don’t think I’m not counting down the days,” you laughed.
Soon, the band got the call they were just about due on stage. So the entire entourage made their way to the side of the stage–where you and the rest of the group would watch from a vantage point above the stage level.
You could tell that they were all nervous to perform, all of them were quiet on the walk there–and you couldn’t blame them, Coachella was a big deal and they weren’t exactly in front of a very forgiving audience.
You were side-by-side with Matty on the walk over. With an arm around each other’s shoulders, you could easily hear his shallow breathing.
“Hey, mate,” you said to him.
“Yeah?” He asked, trying to act as casual and relaxed as possible.
“It’ll be good, you guys’ll kill it, I know you will.”
You squeezed him a little bit closer. Matty leant into the hug, resting his head awkwardly on the top of yours, making you both giggle just a little.
“Thanks, mate,” he whispered.
~~~
You were correct in saying the band would kill it, of course you were. You could see in all their faces just how ecstatic they were after the show. As you hugged each of them–all sweating and panting–you told each of them how well they did.
With Ross, though, you hugged just a little tighter, and whispered just a little lower. “I’m so proud of you.”
Soon enough you were whisked away to some swanky afterparty in a fancy white marquee tent, hosted by some sponsored vodka brand or something like that– though you didn’t really take much notice. You were too busy worrying about the fact that everyone else had a boozy night ahead of them and you were going to have to fake it all, some way or another.
For most of the night it was easy, just order straight mixers at the bar. And the further and further you got into the night, the drunker everyone else got–too smashed to notice you perfectly sober. What was harder was George ordering round after round of shots for your whole group.
You had to keep slyly passing them to Ross–who kept by your side for the entire night–but by midnight you practically had to prop him up to keep him standing next to you. You didn’t mind it; over the loud music, you two could easily whisper to each other without anyone listening. It was fun to get him all riled up, knowing that the later it got into the night, the easier it would be to slip away to the nearest bathroom.
“I need air,” Ross slurred to you. You noticed beads of sweat pricking up on the top of his nose.
With a quiet “alright,” you helped him stumble out of the marquee tent, back into the fresh night air. There was a slight wind picking up, and it blew all your worry away. Just the two of you alone, like how this all started.
You eventually found yourselves sitting on the concrete curb outside, Ross had his head laid on your lap. The stars out in the middle of nowhere were so bright, he was transfixed by them. You could only chuckle at him staring, wide eyed.
After a couple minutes of silence–him staring and you lightly patting the top of his head–he spoke again. “You’re so beautiful.”
You laughed. “Maybe not from your angle, babe.”
“No, I’m serious,” he answered back. “You are…an angel. Beautiful.”
“You’re so drunk,” you chuckled.
You heard stumbling steps behind you, looking back you saw that it was the one and only guitarist of your favourite band, Adam. He sat down next to you.
“What’s with this one?” He asked you with a light chuckle.
“Had a bit too much to drink,” you smiled.
“It’s not my fault!” Ross piped up.
“You didn’t have to get blind, mate!” Adam answered.
“No, I did! I had all of her shots!”
“What? Why?” Adam asked.
“I…um…can’t drink,” you said.
You could see Adam got a slight glint in his eye. “Why?”
“I’m…” You took a breath. “I’m pregnant.”
“Oh my god!” Adam answered. “Congrats?”
“Yeah!” You leant over to give him a side-hug.
“And is…” He pointed to a dozing-off Ross laying in your lap. You nodded. “Holy shit! Who knows?!”
You laughed at Adam, acting like a giddy school boy. “No one–just you, please don’t say anything yet!”
“Lips are sealed.”

Studying was hard.
In fact, it was one of the worst things on this planet to ever exist. Why do people have to go through this for multiple years in their life?
It was already hard enough to stay focused and not get distracted by literally anything else. Even the most minute thing could normally easily steal your attention away.
Yet right now, you had to endure. A hard week was coming your way, two very important exams were approaching, with a third one being scheduled the week after.
You have been studying non stop for a few days now, but somehow, nothing seemed to stay in your head, every word you read seemed to be thrown out your head again at the next second.
So, instead of taking a break and just giving yourself even a few minutes of rest, you just studied even harder. Days became longer and longer and before you knew it, you were studying well into the night, but you couldn't help it.
Those exams were very important, it could possibly ruin your entire future if you were to fail even one of them. At least, that's what you're telling yourself.
To your (mis)fortune - however you wanna look at it now - your boyfriend Thoma, who usually would be pestering you by now to finally take a break, wasn't around for a few weeks, since he went on a trip with a few of his friends.
At first, he wanted to bail out of it, so he could stay with you and support you through these tough weeks. But you insisted that he went on the trip, said it would be good for him to get out and spend some quality time with his friends.
In the end, he reluctantly agreed to it, but he still made sure to text you every day, reminding you to take care of yourself and to not overwork yourself.
Each time you got a text like that from him, you felt guilt well up inside you, from how you so easily ignored his worries about you and your health. Yet, every time again, you pushed those feelings down again, telling you that you had no time for them right now.
...
You were currently deep into yet another study session again, your head already pounding from the constant stress and influx of information, when your phone gave off a text notification next to you.
The screen lit up once you looked at it, showing you a new message from Thoma and also told you that it was already almost midnight again.
'You still up?', was the message displayed on your screen. You hesitated on wether or not you should respond to him, knowing that he would most likely scold you for staying up so late again. But in the end, you decided on just answering him.
'Yeah, I am. What's up?', you replied back to him.
You waited a few seconds for his answer, but instead of a new message came the notification of an incoming video call. Confused but also pleasantly surprised, you accepted the call and were soon greeted with the handsome face of your boyfriend Thoma, which you haven't seen in quite some time. God, how did you only now realise how much you missed him?
"Hey", he said, his voice sounding a bit off thanks to the quality of the phone, but that's okay. At least you got to hear his voice again.
"Hey", you answered back with a soft smile, taking in his surroundings. He was laying on his stomach, holding his phone in front of him with one hand, while the other rested under his chin on a pillow. In the background, you could hear soft snoring.
"Is that Ayato snoring in the background?", you laughed, but Thoma seemed to be used to it at this point.
"Yeah. I'm actually not surprised you hear that, but trust me, it's so much louder when your in the same room as him. He sleeps like a stone and his snoring has kept me up so many times. Like today."
You nodded in understanding. While Thoma may not snore, your previous partner sure did, and it robbed you of your sleep more times than you could count.
"How are you, (name)? Taking enough breaks?", he asked, even managing to give you a pointed look through the camera of the phone. You briefly debated on just telling him yes so he would feel better, but you couldn't bring yourself to lie to Thoma. Not when he was so earnestly concerned about you.
"More or less..", you opted to respond, thinking it would not sound too bad. Yet, knowing you for this long, Thoma knew exactly what that meant.
"(Name)...", he sighed, pinching his nose with his free hands. But before he could go on a full blown rant, you tried changing the subject.
"Let's not talk about that, okay. I'll manage and I don't want to ruin the good mood of your trip. I hope you're having fun by the way."
Thoma looked at you for a few seconds, deciding on wether or not to just go with it. "I know what you're trying to do here. Just... promise me you won't take it too far, okay. Don't neglect yourself, take breaks and remember to eat something."
"Thoma.. I can't really promise you, but I'll try, okay?"
He sighed again, but agreed to that with a reluctant "Alright.", since he knew that this would probably be the best he would get out of you. He really hated how you had this habit to just not take care of yourself when you were stressed, which is why he didn't want to go on this trip in the first place.
But, you were right after all. He really needed this trip to get out for a bit and breath some fresh air, and he had a lot of fun with both Ayato and Ayaka. You were initially invited to join them as well, but sadly had to decline because it would overlap with your exams.
The two of you talked for quite a bit about all kinds of things. The stuff the three of them had been up to during their trip, where they went to (since it was a road trip) and stuff like that. Hearing about it, you were really sad you couldn't join them, but that's just how things are now.
Before ending the call, Thoma informed you that they probably would be back by the end of next week, which was also when you would finally be done with all your exams. Then, you could finally rest again and enjoy some much needed quality time with your boyfriend again.
"Good night, (name). I love you."
"I love you too, Thoma. Good night."
And after that, your screen went black again, and you were suddenly all alone again in your quiet room, with nothing to occupy your mind but the constant need to study and get better.
So, with a deep sigh, you got back to work.
...
It was finally done. The last test has been dealt with, it was over.
You arrived at your apartment, utterly exhausted. You had been ignoring the warning signs of your body for far too long, and yet you still insisted of pushing your own limits.
You started to develop a constant headache a few days ago, with the fever joining in two days ago. Yet you still pushed through, telling yourself that you were fine, that you were able to do this.
And you did do it, but now that you were falling onto your couch, finally able to relax for the first time in two weeks, you realized what you had done to yourself.
You had no strength left in you, no will to do anything at all. You were utterly exhausted and done, not being able to do anything but welcome the darkness that overcame you as you simply passed out on the spot.
...
"(Name)? I'm home!", Thoma yelled as he entered your apartment, using the spare key that you gave him. When no reply came back to him, worry began to rise even more. He had been texting you for the last three hours, telling you that he got back safely. But when you still didn't reply, his concern got the best of him, and he made his way over to your apartment.
"(Name)?", he tried again, while moving through the living space. Once he passed the living room, he saw you, laying on the couch, passed out. At first, thinking nothing of it, he smiled a little and made his way over to your side, crouching down next to you.
But when he saw the pained expression on your face and how sweaty you were, he instantly knew something was up. Without thinking, he gently picked you up into his arms to carry you to your bedroom, before he went to check on your temperature.
As he suspected, you had a fever.
"Damn it, (name).", he sighed. Seemed like he had to take care of you until you wake up again.
...
When you woke up again, you had no idea what time it was, but judging by the the lack of bright light coming form outside, it had to be either evening or night already.
Your head was still spinning a bit and when you went to touch your forehead, you noticed something cold and wet.
That's also when you realized that you weren't in the living room anymore, but actually your bedroom.
Still confused and trying to piece the missing information together, the door to your room swung open, revealing the form of your boyfriend Thoma to you.
"Thoma! You're back!", you exclaimed, trying to get out of the bed, but were quickly pushed back down again.
"Don't even think about getting up. Your fever is still way too high for you to be jumping around like that.", he scolded, which caused you to follow his instruction. Only now did you also notice that you were wearing your pyjama and not the things you collapsed in on the couch. He really took care of everything for you...
"I'm sorry..", you quietly mumbled, and you meant it. You felt bad and guilty for causing him to worry so much about you. Even worse that he had every right to do so, since you did work yourself sick.
Thoma sighed, sitting down on the bed, slowly extending a hand to stroke your hair a bit.
"Don't scare me like that again. You were passed out for hours. All I want is for you to be okay. I can only achieve that if you also start taking care of yourself."
"Okay.. I promise I'll take better care."
And he believed you. It was the only thing he could do, besides nursing you back to health right now. And you appreciated and loved him even more for putting up with you and still caring for you, despite all.
