i think you have to walk a careful line when accusing creators of queerbaiting

#the thing is...queerbaiting is often between two CHARACTERS not two real life people #there is a long and very very harmful history behind the word queerbait that i really truly think a lot of you should learn #can you say that theyre probably trying to create moments that can go into compilations and feed into the shipping #yeah 100% but theres a difference between doing that and queerbaiting #especially because we don't ever know if there is something going on behind the scenes #it goes back to the dnp controversy if any of u know what im talking about #i think you can call out creators for maybe feeding too much into moments and shipping etc. but at the end of the day it is not queerbaiting #and that is a distinction you absolutely should learn #we can argue day and night about if its problematic or not but please dont throw around that word like it means nothing #ultimately i know a lot of you are younger so idk if you even care but #okay rant in the tags done send me an ask if you want to talk more
