Reminder to please, for the love of everything sane about this fandom, please don't talk about passerine or flowers from 1970 in streamer chats. It's bad and wrong, and a repeat of so many fandoms that have gotten this big.

Apparently one of them was deleted because of this, and i genuinely feel like people were emboldened by the HW author not deleting their fic but we need to teach other fans that sharing around fanfic literally just hurts the author and the community. Stop it. Close your mouth about fanfic, it is not and never has been meant for sharing purely because it causes so much harm to the author once it goes mainstream. You will scare off new authors, you have already scared off new authors, you will continue to scare off old and new authors if disrespecting and trashing fanfiction author boundaries becomes a trend in this fandom too.

[edit; FF1970 was deleted because it crossed certain creator boundaries. The point stands harder because you absolutely shouldn't be reading or talking about a fic that does that, especially not to streamers, but it's important to know.]
