okay ,, this feral lil shit is shin hati, there's not much on shin's early childhood or anything like that - I'm just going to kinda make that up as i go along tbh bc the show hasn't touched much on that other than she's a force sensitive kid that baylan found not in the jedi temple or on courscant. obvs if we get a second season of ahsoka, I'll change her stuff if we find out more abt them :)

okay here we go

shin's always been force-sensitive, but obviously, because the jedi order was no more.

shin doesn't remember her parents - they were killed when shin was four and they spent time in an orphanage before baylon found them.

from there, he could see their potential to be something greater than the jedi ever were - except for most of the things she learned early on were heavily influenced by the jedi, esp the wearing of the padawan braid that she still has.

they both spent years being muscle for hire until they allied with morgan elspbeth in the hunt for thrawn, but there was always something greater than baylon wanted for both of them, so he went along with the plan to find thrawn just to further his ambitions.

so they spent years working for her and eventually broke her out of prison after she was captured by ahsoka tano.

after that, shin was sent off on a few missions of their own - specifically one to lothal to retrieve the orb that held the map to get to peridia, nd that was where she met sabine wren for the first time and where they stabbed them lmaooo.

after all of that, they managed to get the giant ass hyperspace rings working so that they could go get thrawn.

shin absolutely did not like morgan or the other nightsisters that were around, they lowkey creeped them out.

shin fought off ahsoka, sabine and ezra for a little bit - but in the end up they ran away when ahsoka asked her to join them.

but baylon had gone off and left them, so they were once again on their own, so she went off to find the hunters that they'd worked with before and that's the last we see of shin in season 1 :)

was raised by a single mother, her father was killed by smugglers when they were trying to get to a different planet before shin was born.

based upon influence and mostly from the last gasp of the fire mixtape era, hidden scrolls in here enjoy them and find them on youtube if you want some good recs for great music that i enjoyed as a yuuuuuuute. alright. this is just kind of a freestyle but it has a lot of cool shit in here, im sure someone else knows more, but this is all me.

A$AP Rocky - Live.Love.A$AP (5stars) just changed the sound of the industry and had some of the most legendary songs of the decade fr…cant really understate how this influenced the "lean sound" of the mid 2010s. really brought the aesthetic together and laid the gameplan. just slaps man too. hadnt seen independent dudes w a camera just hustling like this making real classics before here. it was some different shit.

i think when u put it all together chief keef, lil b, migos, gucci mane, rich homie, young thug so influential and if there was 1 rapper who could have been way more than what he was it might have been Doe B. i think krit and gates prob had the best shit too.

Getting to Know a New Friend

Open Heart/MC and Dr. Banerji bonding

Summary: Clarissa and Naveen strike up a friendship as they talk during his treatments.

Authors Note: Hopefully it makes sense and what not. Doesn’t fit in any particular timeline in mind. I have a Rafael and MC coming up and a semi-slow burn ramsey too. Enjoy this!

It was late as Clarissa glanced at her phone for the time. Quarter after midnight and she gotten here at four thirty this morning. Next to her laying in the bed was Doctor Banerji sleeping. She glanced at him hoping for a miracle.

She yawned before dozing off and then straightened back up again. Every once in a while, she would put a hand on Dr. Banerji’s hand and say something sweet to him, even though he couldn’t hear it while sleeping. She turned back to her notebook before a voice startled her out of her thoughts.

“You know if you’re tired you can go home,” he said as Clarissa shook her head.

Gasping she looked over and saw Doctor Banerji watching her through bleary eyes. His gaze on her as Clarissa bit her bottom lip. Then sighed, Ethan would be back soon from his office assuming that he didn’t get stopped. At least now they would get a chance to talk to each other.

“No I’m good,” she said her voice tired. “I’m just thinking. You should be resting though.”

“I’ve been sleeping in here for nearly a month and usually alone. I could use the company Doctor Sinclaire.” He paused and looked down at her notepad. “What are you writing? You can show me if you want.”

Flushing she reluctantly passed him her notebook, not wanting to deny his request. Naveen glanced down at her notebook to not see notes but doodles. Hearts, stars, little mice, and her name scribbled a variety of ways. He smiled before chuckling at the mice on the page.

“You made the mice with the number 2 didn’t you? My niece does the same thing,” said Naveen passing her the notebook back.

Curiously she watched him remembering that Ethan told her that he didn’t really have anyone. “Your niece doctor Banerji?”

“You can call me Naveen doctor Sinclaire,” he said warmly thinking of something in his mind. “My brother’s daughter. My brother passed from a heart attack a couple of years ago. I haven’t heard from Mira in a few years.”

“I’m sorry about your family. Maybe one day you’ll see her when you get the chance. And you can call me Clarissa, Naveen.” It felt a bit weird to call him by his first name, just like the first time she called Ethan by his. She’d get used to it though helping care for him.

“Care if I prob your mind?”

His voice curious and probably reading her like a book. Good thing she didn’t have much to hide. His eyes still on her and gaze never left. They had never really talked to each other before about anything. Ethan would always be the one talking to him. Sometimes she felt like an outsider looking in sometimes. Then again, she wasn’t here a lot of the time.

“Of course, but only if I can change the blanket for you.”

Clarissa took the blanket and went to switch out with a fresh one. Naveen watching her curiously. “I want you to tell me about you. Ethan could tell me all the technical stuff like what school you went to, but you’re helping me. Even though you don’t have to, I’d like to get to know my doctor.”

She flushed if a bit excited a famous doctor wanted to know about her. That was extremely flattering. Although that did make her a little nervous what if she said something that made him think otherwise of her. Clarissa was going to help him and getting to know him was going to be fun for her.

“Well what would you like to know?”

Thoughtful he steepled his fingers together. “What was your favorite book when you were 8, 18, and now?”

That was a good question as she had to think about that. “Magic tree house, book 21, Civil War on Sunday. It was about Clara Barton. When I was 18 it was Harry Potter. I don’t have a favorite book now but I’m reading My Sister’s Keeper.”

Doctor Banerji nodded approving of her choices. He thought about another question and sighed but before he could ask her another she had her own question.

“Can I ask you some questions like a q&a?” The older man nodded as she noticed the twinkle in his eyes. “What songs have you completely memorized?”

He opened his mouth and then closed it before opening it again. “That’s a good question. Believe it or not, it’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough by Diana Ross. My mother loved that song. It was the first I learned all of the lyrics to.”

“It’s a good song,” said Clarissa as she waited for him to ask her a question.

“What’s your favorite tv show?”

“Jane the Virgin, Petra is one of the best characters. What is something that you always wanted to do?”

Doctor Ban… No, Naveen, looked a little surprised before thinking of something himself. “Invented something useful for someone. Like the toaster but better.”

She laughed and adjusted to sit closer to him. It was back and forth between the two of them before they lost track of the time. Naveen was very easy to get answers from and fun to talk to. He knew a lot and seemed like the ideal teacher. It was easy to see why Doctor Ramsey looked up to him so much. She had to find something to help cure him.

Clarissa continued watching him as she tried to piece together a complete picture of Naveen. Despite not married or have children, he really had a family at the hospital. He would tell her stories about some of the senior residents and even some other staff. His smile would reach his eyes when he talked about something that really excited him. It reminded her of her teachers that she had in school. He was so passionate about his job. Their conversation seemed to stretch on for about an hour or longer as they lost track of the time.

“Clarissa,” said Naveen as he reached over and took her hand. “I want to thank you. Having someone that knows about me is a relief and I’m going to be glad to have someone to talk to. This job is stressful enough and the fact that you’re helping me means a great deal. You’re an intelligent, capable, and a great doctor.”

Warmth spread throughout her body as she looked down hiding the blush on her cheeks. “I think you’re a great doctor too Naveen. I can only hope that I’d be as good as you one day.”

“You’re very sweet Doctor Sinclaire. Now if I were you I’d go and get some rest before starting up again the next day. I’ll be here for a while.”

Clarissa watched his face fall slightly about that. She knitted her eyebrows together a little concerned. “Naveen, if I’m not being rude. Why did you let yourself get talked into staying here? I mean, it sounded like you had your own plans.”

His eyes flickered to his sheets and then up at the heart monitor that was hooked up. The older man seemed to be mulling over something in his mind before squeezing her hand. “Honestly, I chose to stay partly because of Ethan and partly for myself. Part of me couldn’t just leave the hospital, if I was on a beach somewhere I’d be thinking of everyone here. Then Ethan helped influence it because I didn’t want him to go through this alone. I know that he can be demanding, strict, and very condescending but he’s scared just as a son would be losing his father. I’m glad that you’re here and could keep us both sane. He may not show it but he’s glad too.”

A tiny smile grew on her face as she stood up.

“Thank for the talk Naveen. I can’t wait to do this again.”

“Me too Clarissa.”

She adjusted to stand up and turned to leave the room. Doctor Ramsey wasn’t back yet and probably got pulled aside but they did need their rest. She waved to him and him back before heading out the door. She had to find something to help him, she just had to.

This was really awesome. I still have a million questions, but I’m more invested in the possibilities for what’s to come than the answers to them. I won’t lie, I did really want to see White Diamond, a Pink and Rose flashback, and maybe even Stars, but what we got was absolutely amazing and I was too shook. The mystery is slowly unfolding and I cannot wait to see what’s going to happen next. I’m genuinely curious as to what everyone else thought. I kind of want to get a convo going so message me with stuff or use the little comment chat thingie on my post. What was your favorite part? Who’s your favorite off color?
