Vent post y'all are gonna hate me for.

I viscerally hate how the Duffers treat most of their non white or queer characters and I hate even more viscerally, how y'all big byler blogs in your circle jerk of other 5 big byler blogs casually like to ignore many red flags the show has.

Y'all like to say: "tHe DufFeRs ArE gReAt WrIteRs" and it's like girl, who are you lying to??? They aren't top shit writers at all. The Duffers are pretty mid imo. Yeah, they run a good show that's fun to watch and theorize abt , but that doesn't mean they're good writers cuz they're not.

1. they completely side lined Will during s3 for the sake of their straight romances: lumax, jancy, mlvn, duzie and partly stobin (even if stobin wasn't endgame, thankfully, Steve's intentions were clearly wanting to date Robin and they gave it a lot of screen time). Will was sidelined bc he didn't fit the straight romance plotline bc they planned to make him gay or whatever. Now in s4 Will and his feelings have been used as mlvn toilet paper. Yes, we like to say this is build up for byler but canonically, Will's feelings have been used to clean the shit mlvn leaves behind.

2. Billy was sympathized a lot during the last 2 seasons. They gave him the sad backstoryTM in order for ppl to feel sorry for him. Billy's backstory is literally Jonathan's but whatever.

3. El's anger issues are constantly girlboss-ified. They down play her bullying situation and literally just use it for El to be a ''girlboss" without realizing how triggering that is. As someone who has lived bullying, seeing it be ignored by canon and fanon is super sad. The whole Rink-O' Mania experience must have been so traumatizing for her yet, everyone absolutely forgets abt it 🤷🏻‍♀️

4. Robin, Erica and Argyle are stereotypical characters. Robin is the quirky lesbian with social anxiety, Erica is the badass black woman and Argyle is the Latino stoner that sells weed to white kids and works as a pizza delivery guy.

5. Altho Argyle and Eddie both do drugs, (Eddie actually sells K-12 to a minor and nobody batted an eye. He has a huge fan base). Eddie is held in a pedestal bc "poor thing 🥺 he lives in a trailer with his uncle 🥺". Tell me a single fact you know abt Argyle that isn't "he smokes weed", "he is Jonathan's only friend", "drives a van" and "he works at a pizzeria". Exactly, Eddie is given a useless backstory and Argyle isn't.

6. Dustin stopped being important to the plot sometime around s2 and s3. He is only there to curse and be mildly funny. My guy needs to hangout with ppl his age cuz he only hangs out with seniors.

7. El needs to stop having so much "I'M THAT BITCH" screentime like I need in s5 for El's arc to not just be her becoming more powerful and falling in love with Mike. I need the Duffers to explore her trauma and problems.

8. Angela should have been run over by the van.

9. Patrick should have been given a backstory that isn't the basic "strict black parents that hit their kids cuz they are a disgrace". Patrick's backstory is actually racist af, fight w the wall.

10. As Lex already said, they didn't trigger tag the ep where Jason and his friends assault Lucas and Erica. Like wtf? Why was that necessary? Why did I have to see a black boy being held at gunpoint by some white guy?? Was it relevant to the plot?? I don't think so. And then I've got to see ppl online be like "Jason wasn't that bad. He was just mourning" like bitch you can stfu. This is what happens when you make the racist assholes conventionally attractive.

Also the fact that Lucas's arc is fulfilled by him fist-fighting Jason and "embracing his weirdness" aka accepting he is black. His arc was not fulfilled at all cuz that ending spoke so loud to me. It showed how little empathy ppl have towards the struggles poc ppl living in the Midwest have. Y'all circle jerks can only see racism when it's super obvious.

Furthermore, parents complained when ST showed "an excessive amount of smoking" yet nobody batted an eye when Billy tried to run over Lucas, when Erica (an 11 y.o ffs) was chased by white kids or when Lucas was held at gunpoint by Jason.

All of this happened while they focused on Max's guilt and mourning that, yeah, are important but certainly not less important than racism!!!

11. In s3, they gave us that whole Nancy vs The Bigots arc that was honestly just triggering and useless. It didn't help Nancy's character at all, quite the opposite it put unnecessary angst.

12. Lonnie being presented as an abuser just for him to never be spoken of again. Can we please get to explore the trauma he left the Byers's with?

13. The fact that both queer relationships are considered "sloppy seconds" is extremely sad. Both Vickie and Mike are rebounding from their failed relationship with Robin and Will. These 2 ships have caused more commotion than Jancy and Jopper together! (These last ships are technically sloppy seconds too but everybody forgets that. Shocker!!)

14. Last but not least, ppl blame Argyle for being the one to get Jonathan into smoking weed as if Jonathan probably wasn't the one looking for it. Let me tell you, that you only find weed if you look for it.

CHAPTER TWELVE; ripping my hair out

"dude get down here, i'm going to leave you," you could hear the slight annoyance in megumi's voice. yuuji and nobara had left about five minutes ago, and you begged megumi to wait on you while you finished getting ready.

"i'm coming! hold on!" you say while slipping on your shoes and stumbling down the stairs. the ride to yuta's wasn't long, due to there being minimal cars on the road at the same time as you.

once you arrive megumi asks a question that you would normally say yes to, "do you want me to go first or. . ." he points towards the door. "nope, surprisingly, i took my balls off the shelf and put them on today. i'm a man," you say as you turn the knob. for whatever reason the door wasnt locked.

you look around to see yuuji and toge in an intense match of mario kart, and by intense, you mean yuuji on his stomach with his feet in the air expressing his emotions after he gets hit with a shell, and inumaki nearly on his tippy toes. nobara was on the couch rooting for inumaki, and yuta and maki were in the kitchen eating chips.

you and megumi wave at the two of them before going to the chaos happening in the living room.

“broooo,” yuta slides a hand down his face, “they were probably just fucking!” maki rolls her eyes at him, because clearly he’s misunderstanding the situation.

“are you stupid,” she flicks his arm, “how many times do i have to tell you, they aren’t dating”

“well toge thinks—“ “when has he ever told the truth?” to be fair, she did have a point, but there’s always a what if scenario

the evening progressed and yuta hadn’t really interacted with you since the moment you walked through that door, but he seemed fine with everyone else?

you decide not to think too much about it, and grab the bowl of popcorn making your way over to the living room. you strategically sat by yuta, but not many words were exchanged. maybe it was because of inumaki and nobara arguing over what movie to watch, or maybe he was just worn out.

after the movie ends, all of you get your stuff together, help clean, and then leave.

a/n: hi darlaaa thank you for waiting teehee i love the gojo asks you’re giving me / i tried to keep it as general as possible even tho i only use pads! gn!reader, a little brief n*sfw at the end

i think we have all established that gojo is actually like . crazy in love with you and because of that he hates that you’re hurting so much bc of it :(

gojo likes to be at your command (even on normal days but) so he’s noting down every small thing you mention

“a tub of ice cream would sound so good rn…” or “think im running out of heat pads”

and he’s on his feet instantly. when youre sick or on your period he just declares it an off day, or at least on the first day when it’s the most painful

doesn’t really care about blood since he’s seen his fair share but he sometimes panics if your period comes during the night and he sees that the sheets are red

gojo lightly turns you over and sees that it’s coming from your centre and breathes a sigh of relief bc he’s had one too many nightmares about you getting bloodied and torn to shreds by a curse and he’s too late to save you

anyway. enough of the dark stuff, you freak out the first time you stay over and your period comes (the timing is so shit truly) bc his sheets are so expensive and you just “oh my god i just ruined my chance w this beautiful man”

but gojo doesn’t bat an eye, rather jumps up to comfort you, rubbing a soothing hand over you before you head over to the bathroom to clean up

a bit of blood got on him tho, thru cuddling and gojo makes a joke about how you’re “marking” him and you just roll your eyes and shove him away with a smile lol

he gives you everything you need to clean up most of the time and lets you do your thing

doesn’t let you change the sheets w/ him and rather makes you sit down to watch him, as with other things

changing the channel? gojo is there to do it. u want another snack from the pantry? he’s teleporting that short distance in his house because he doesn’t want you to feel that disgusting rush of blood whenever you stand up. hes so dramatic i swear

has made pms jokes before but he’s changed and he’s a better man now fr. gojo has gotten a lecture from utahime and then didnt take it seriously and then REALLY got told off by shoko after 💀

now whenever you’re moody he just shuts up and comforts you quietly <3

gojo willingly straps on those devices that mimic period cramps and then just when he wants to boast, you turn on the device to the highest setting (he told u to give him ur all) and he SCREAMS the most high pitched shriek ever it’s hilarious

tricks yuji into trying it out and poor yuji gullibly smiles even when gojo hasnt explained what it’s for and the way yuji grits his teeth omfg. you swear you hear sukuna ask gojo to never fuckin do that again

never disrespects you again

reluctantly gives you his sweet things 😭 he gets a little sad when he returns from a mission and his cheesecake is gone and you’re just sitting in front of the tv going “what?” LMFAOOO

he loves you too much however and lets you do whatever!

praises you even MORE during this time it’s kinda adorbs lol — “oh! you worked out on your period, love that for you, darling!!!!”

— aether holds you close, rubbing his cheek against yours in efforts of slowing your anxiety-ridden breaths down — he won't lie, he's pretty anxious for you as well; but he knows he has to keep his composure so as to not freak you out even more — whispers sweet, calming words into your ears and will tell you that everything is going to be okay

[albedo]

— given that he's not an actual human, albedo does a pretty good job of calming you down — brings you your favourite hot drink (with the right amount of milk/sugar that you love) plus a blanket so that you can curl up in his lap while he calms you down :3 — stays by your side the entire time while you cry :")

[arlecchino]

— slightly rough but when she sees you upset it is on SIGHT with the person who made you cry — will go batshit crazy. just for you — gives a very opinionated speech about how she would report this person who made you upset to the department head yadda yadda and it makes you smile

— definitely freaks out a little bit but remembers what thoma does for her whenever she feels anxious — holds your hand and squeezes it gently to assure you that she's there for you — she listens a lot and doesn't talk. will let you spill out everything while she sits there and rubs the back of your hand

— keeps his composure and is somewhat like a steady rock — will make you your favourite hot drink!! he remembers the little things about you so the right amount of sugar and milk and water etc — brings tissues and a soft cloth to wipe the tears away from your face while he sits there and holds your hand

[beidou]

— she gets a bit more quiet because she hates seeing you upset like this — slightly murderous look in her eyes because she will obliterate the person who made you this upset — holds you in her arms the entire time she tries to calm you down — wipes away your tears with her thumb

[capitano]

— doesn't speak a lot, he's more of a listener — enjoys holding you in his arms :( the quiet comforter is good at that and his presence is generally very calming — also he knows the exact way you like your fav drink — will be out to murder the person who made you sad

[childe]

— hums a soft melody, the same way he used to calm down his siblings when they got upset. also kisses you a lot throughout — (except that you get a lot more cuddles than them. lol) — cooks you your comfort dish while putting it on your favourite plate with your favourite set of cutlery (the fork and spoon with the cute little whales on them)

[diluc]

— asks adelinde to make you a pot of tea <3 — plays a soothing melody on the piano in efforts to calm you down. he makes you straddle him facing away from the piano and lean against his shoulder — presses kisses to your forehead while you spill about everything that made you upset

— bit of an eccentric comforter but thats okay! — he enjoys telling you stories about his past research and it makes you smile a lot (the safer versions, i'm gna pretend he doesn't do anything sketchy just in case ppl @ me) — i honestly can see dottore as a cuddler i'm sorry to those who disagree. this one's for @cxlrosii #1 dottore lover

— she's.. not used to comforting you / other people so she's a little awkward — but she tries! she tends to just sit and listen while giving an extremely violent opinion about the other party to make you laugh — it works :) will bring a soft cloth to wipe away your tears as you sit on her lap

— gets a little panicked but has to calm herself down before she can calm you down — brings tissues and small pieces of candy for you for eat bc she believes that its a better medicine ;) — also brings qingxins for you for some reason. 10/10 comforter tbh

— wraps you in this huge hug with his tail wagging and all!!!! super cute sight — he hates seeing you sad. will cuddle you on the spot even if other people are around — he lets you pet his ears longer than usual bc he knows it makes you happy :(

— i can't get the image of him straddling you while kissing you to make a smile appear on your face — wipes your tears away gently while telling you stories about the arataki gang getting into trouble — he might have thrown itto under the bus.. but oh well. heizou gives good cuddles okay

— 10/10 BEST COMFORTER. will beatbox your troubles away — also likes to throw you up into the air for some reason??? like you could be crying on the floor and be up in the air the next — he's very careful though and he's super sweet about it. brings you to eat your favourite food afterward <333 lets you win onikabuto fights

Lo'ak didn't have many friends, many of them made fun of him for being different, calling him the kid with the demon blood. So having a person that didn't pick on him and actually was friends with him was oddly surprising, and a little sad.

You two were best friends. As his best friend, he was very protective of you. When you'd go hunting, he'd tell you to be careful where you aim as he was scared you'd accidentally aim it in the air and have it fall on you, or when you'd be out after eclipse, he'd be very aware of his surroundings, keeping out for any dangerous creatures

It was safe to say you two were always together.

Another thing about him, was his issues. You knew how hard his father was on him. He already had to deal with the pressure of trying to live up to his perfect brother, and his dad wasn't making any easier by scolding and yelling at him for every breath he takes

He wasn't exactly enjoying any of it, and nobody understood him. Except you.

You were always there for him, and that's when he knew.

He was somewhere in the forest, hiding. He always liked to hide to get away from everything for a bit. But this time, he was hiding because he just had another fight with his dad, and left to get some air.

You knew exactly where to find him, and the minute you hugged him, he broke down.

And you didn't leave.

You didn't judge him, you didn't yell at him, you stayed. You stayed and comforted him, and supported him, and made sure he was okay

"I'm so sorry Lo'ak, your dad never sees the effort you put in when you try to live up to his expectations. But trust me, I see it. I see it everyday, I know you're trying, and I'm always gonna be here when you need me, it's okay, I'm here for you" You said as you held him tight, wiping his tears and playing with his hair

That's when he knew. That's when he knew he was never gonna find someone like you, he was never going to find someone that made him feel as safe as you do

He had fallen for you and didn't realize it till now.

Even with the next day, you came by and took him out to distract him from the fight, you made sure that he was smiling and laughing, forgetting all the pain

But one day, it was different. He was alone in the forest again, and of course you were quick to go comfort him

He was sitting on the ground, staring into nothing in silence. He suddenly heard footsteps and sighed

"Lo'ak?" You said in a soft voice, slowly walking towards him, "hey" you said as you pulled him in for a hug but he pushed you away

"Leave me alone" He said, turning away

You took in a deep breath, "I understand you're upset about your dad-" you said as you touched his shoulder but he pushed you away again

"Why are you even here?!" He yelled

"Wh-what?" You nervously said

"I don't need you to comfort me, I'm fine on my own"

"But Lo'ak-"

"You think I don't know about your sick game?" He said, the anger radiating off him

"What game-"

"I'm tired of you treating me like this! I'm tired of you treating me like this and acting like you don't realize what you're doing to me"

"What?"

"I don't need you! I don't need anyone. I'm sick of you playing me like I'm some stupid game! Leave me alone!" He yelled, startling you the louder he got, "You mean nothing to me. Do you understand? Nothing!"

He went quiet when he heard you sniffle, and looked into your eyes, seeing them glossy, his heart broke

You ran away, and he heard your cries as you did. He hurt you, he never saw you cry before, and he did now

and it was all because of him.

He didn't see you for days, he asked about you and they all said they haven't seen you leave your tent for a while now

He hated himself for acting the way he did, he didn't mean any of it.

One day, he saw you finally leaving your tent, your eyes were puffy and red, like you've been crying a lot, you had dark circles under your eyes like you haven't been sleeping much, he hated it, he hated the way he affected you

he followed you into the forest where you were picking some fruits he assumed your mother told you to get and took the chance

"y/n" he said and you froze, it was quiet, the sounds of the forest filling your ears, you were about to run until he pulled you back

he held your face as your eyes began to tear up, "please listen to me, y/n i swear you have to hear me out"

you stood there quietly, waiting for him to speak

"I didn't mean any of the words I said, I promise you. I was just--I was mad and I took it out on you"

"Yeah because I mean nothing to you--"

"No!" He yelled, "you mean everything to me. More than you can possibly imagine"

"Then why'd you say it!" You yelled back, and he wiped your tears

"Because I was scared!" He responded, "I was-you just...you make me feel things, things I've never felt before. And I hate it because I know I shouldn't be feeling like this, so I thought maybe if I hurt you, you'd leave and I wouldn't suffer anymore" He sighed

"Suffer what!"

"Suffer the pain of loving you!" He yelled, "I-I see you, y/n. And it scares me because-"

"Because you don't think I feel the same way?" You cut him off

He nodded

"God, you're such a stupid skxawng!" You smacked him, and he rubbed his arm in confusion, "of course I feel the same way! You-you're my best friend, Lo'ak. I see you too."

"You do?"

"Duh! I've been seeing you, dumbass!" you yelled, smacking him in the head

"Damn okay I get it jeez!" he said as he rubbed his head

You chuckled and pulled him in, kissing him on the lips, after you pulled away he had a smirk on his face

"Does this mean you're having my babies now?" He genuinely asked

"I'm leaving."

"WAIT"

// TWST Book 7 spoilers, thoughts of Malleus's writing as a character

So I was reading some other people's opinions on why some people consider Malleus overrated/annoying, and tbh this makes me really sad. The general consensus is that a lot of people fixate on certain sides and can only see him as one extreme or the other and it results in many ppl thinking a watered down version of his character is how he is in canon.

I feel that its such a shame because he's the most interesting, compelling and well-rounded take on his character archetype I've seen.

From my observation, usually they kinda make this archetype (the broody misunderstood 'everyone fears him like a monster except for one special person') someone you can't take that seriously, because of how his struggle usually kind of written in a way where everyone involved feel less like actual fully fledged original characters and really just one note tropes interacting with other one note tropes.

To elaborate: What i mean when i say this is usually ppl who hate him kind of just do because of plot requires them to and to show how all their haters are "normies" who can't get him because 'he's not like everyone else'. The misunderstood guy still usually has toxic personality issues but the story really tends to make it feel like they don't fear him for that but because they're shallow and have prejudice to ppl like him, so his personality issues are not framed as wrong or character flaws.

I don't think there's anything inherenrly wrong or mediocre with the "one special person who gives him a chance before anyone else" trope like I'm literally a Malleyuu enjoyer lol but like i said its all in the execution cause otherwise it fails to be compelling and believable. Usually in the poorly written version of this trope the guy doesn't undergo any character development other than showing more emotion and kindess to his partner because they melted his ice I guess so it really makes his whole character feel like its revolves around the sake of romance and fanservice.

Malleus doesn't fall into this trap in my opinion because his situation despite how fantastical it is, the way he was written makes it believable as to why everything is the way it is with him, and it also challenges the viewer if they would be able to say they wouldn't fear him too in that situation.

"We're gonna give you this character who everyone sees as a monster and show you deep down he just wants the same love as everyone else, making you contemplate changing judgement on him. He wants to prove this, but his way of going about it always inadvertently harms others."

"You know where hes coming from and if he had that social connection to give him a better understanding of others this wouldn't be happening, but its also equally understandable that the people hes trying to connect with don't deserve this and fear him even more after this, trapping him in a cycle of isolation."

"Given his track record, do you go about giving him a chance or just considering the repeatedly proven danger he brings. With the valid reasons of both parties, can you really say he isn't a monster and demand that 'if only people be near him'?"

There's just such a tragic and thought-provoking dilemma to his character that adds so many layers that makes him so good.

As omniscient viewers we have the benefit of seeing what he's going through form his POV so we can sympathize with him and understand that he thinks what he's doing is the best course of action and he's just trying to create a "win for everyone" situation.

But also everything he does ironically reaffirms everyone's fear and distrust of someone like him. No one can deny he has a tendency to cause further destruction when he tries to do something "good", examples including: past Briar Valley lantern lighting fire, the Halloween 2 ghost world party, and now his Sleeping Curse stunt in Book 7 Part 2 (they really emphasize this by making the spoken name of his UM basically mean "Malicious Fairy" but have its written name used to convey what its meant to mean be "Blessing").

↑ Given this, it honestly makes sense others, especially those who don't know him all that well, would just expect the worst when he's around already, and you wouldn't be able to blame them for that given the track record. It doesn't help that this impression is worsened since he tends to cause misunderstandings due to his lack of familiarity with human social cues.

Alongside the bias and preconceived notions from his status and reputation, they also make a point on how his personality flaws are still also a huge factor in pushing people away, such as not being able to see things through the perspective of others.

He also holds a subconcious belief due to what has been ingrained in him since childhood as a Draconia and the next in line that because he's superior to others at certain things, he has the right and responsibility to decide on what will protect and help them, disregarding the individual values/priorities of human beings and leading him to take reckless and destructive action with good intentions.

His upbringing, character strengths and character flaws are all realistically connected to each other and the way they are subtly shown to be ever-present in defining his decisions, goals and thoughts throughout the whole story. So we don't really need to have a character go out of their way to exposition this to us this word for word just so we can understand and believe it.

Moving onto something slightly more lighthearted, I really also like how dorky Malleus surprisingly was. Other similar characters in the archetype I usually see don't really have any hobbies, interests, or quirks outside of being a broody authority figure, which might've been appealing to some at first but it really just gets stale and boring after a while.

This should be the bare minimum in making a fleshed out and interesting character so maybe i sound like im giving them too much credit for pointing it out😭 But yeah compared to the other examples it's good that Malleus has his Tamagotchi and Gargoyle interests it makes him feel like a believable person who has his own life going on too (with the bonus that these interests are also metaphors for aspects of his character). The gap moe adds an endearing side to him, and makes the gap between his intent and impact of his actions even more tragic. It wouldn't hit the same without this side.

(^ Forgot how the exact quote goes, but it basically said dark stories are more effective when there are moments of genuine happiness and good in them, compared to if it was always just grim and edgy. The former increases the stakes and tragedy because you have something you to care about losing, while for the latter there is nothing for you to care about so nothing the story does really matters. Same logic applies to Malleus)

Overall, it's just like an unfortunate incompatibility of goals and circumstances, which is what TWST is all about. Another thing I want to say is out of all the characters, I feel like Malleus is the one who is the ultimate embodiment of TWST's main themes:

-> How it's not about "hero" vs "villain" just differing circumstances crossing paths and clashing because of how people on either side have their own complex perspective and dreams they want to realize

-> And how connection and finding community is important to find people who will help you make up for what you lack in reaching your goals and to better understand all the factors that caused the situation in the first place.

As if seeing yourself reflected in a mirror, the more you get to know the people around you, you realize in many ways you are actually quite alike, and through understanding others you could also possibly better understand certain aspects of yourself. It's sort of encouraging you to do the opposite of dehumanizing others and yourself, which is something Malleus has most evidently internalized.

So yeah this was so long😭 I had a lot I wanted to say since Malleus is my favorite TWST character. Idk if I missed anything or if i managed to express my thoughts in a cohesive way but yeah. I kinda go into a rage whenever I see the worst takes ever be put out about his character but tbh sometimes I can't completely blame others since fandom trends and the convenience of simplifying things into tropes can warp your perception of a character and what you associate with them.

Also sometimes twst doesn't do a good job with utilizing his character like Book 5 where he got turned into a deus ex machina and Halloween 2 where they killed any hype and intrigue for the plot we had at the beginning through the ending reveal and gave the worst justification ever for Malleus and Lilia's actions ever.

Regardless, I hope more people manage to move past this and appreciate his character for what it really is soon though. He's an amazingly tragic character; a lot of thought was put into how his experiences, strengths and weaknesses would convincingly connect, and he represents something relevant in the story's plot and themes.

The fact that I've seen some people unironically believe that Malleus may just be faking his cluelessness of social cues to hide his "true evil" is evidence to how convincing his character's situation is, that even some in the audience who know more about him than the characters would still end up in the same place of doubt and distrust of Malleus because of what he's capable of.

ANSWER IT (2) - T. KAULITZ

synopsis: after things with your boyfriend end unexpectedly - thanks to no one but you, tom makes a confession that you never could have been prepared for.

contents: tinyyy bit of smut, some angst in the middle, ends in fluff.

a/n: so many ppl have been BEGGING for a pt2 to answer it and honestly i never planned on writing one but here u go i guess!!😭 also random but this clip makes me go feral so had to use it for the gif🙏🙏

my chest rises up and down, completely breathless as tom collapses on top of me, lips lazily pressing to my collarbone. our bodies stick together, sweat glistening against them, the smell of sex circling around the room as our heavy breathing mixes with it. he pulls out of me, a low whine leaving my lips at the loss of contact. his calloused hands run up and down my waist, unspoken words left unsaid as we lay within each other’s embrace, coming down from some of the best sex we have ever had.

“so fucking good.” he mutters against me as his head rests in my neck, a lazy smile on his face.

but, unlike every other time we had fucked, i no longer share the same sense of hazy happiness, lethargic bliss that i usually would, the reality of the situation soon coming to light, a sickly feeling of guilt rising from the pit of my stomach as i realise what i have done - my boyfriend has just caught me cheating on him.

though i completely deserved this, to feel so ashamed, so completely devastated, after all, i was the one to blame, it didn’t at all ease my pain. strangely, i didn’t regret fucking tom the way i had been these past months, i just longed to erase the phone call, wishing that it had never happened as i stare blankly at the ceiling, my eyes welling up with long-awaited tears whilst tom absentmindedly lays with his body on mine, lips placing tired kisses on my bare skin.

“so fucking glad you finally got rid of that guy.” he mutters, gently nibbling at the skin below my ear, pulling at my waist and moving his crotch to grind it against me, his small movements making me realise exactly what he wants. “he was such an ass, didn’t deserve to have you all to his self, didn’t treat you the way you should’ve been, such a fucking cunt.”

my whole body tenses up at the mention of him, eyes no longer able to hold the tears back as they fall down my cheeks. i am frozen in place, unable to move, beating myself up for literally everything, hating how tom can be so nonchalant about it - he had always been aware that i wanted this to be strictly kept a secret. and i cannot help but blame him. he was the one to pick up the phone, to make me answer it, and ultimately blow my cover.

my body begins to shake as i silently sob, tom’s head lifting up from my shoulder in confusion. his eyebrows furrow, clearly not understanding why i am upset, totally oblivious to this whole thing, not able to see where he fucked up.

“woah woah, what’s going on?” he asks, sitting up and resting his back against the head board, quickly scooping me into his lap as he holds me, hands running down to my lower back in an attempt to comfort me.

my sadness soon mixes with anger, utterly despising tom in this moment as i roughly escape his hold, pushing my arms flush against his chest, finally getting out from his grasp. i clench my jaw, shaking my head as the tears continue to fall, angrily slipping my panties and bra on.

“hey, what’s up? talk to me, what happened?” tom frantically asks, getting up from the bed and slipping his boxers on, rushing over to me and trying to place his hands in mine.

“what happened? what fucking happened?” i scoff, shaking my head at his stupidity, in complete disbelief of how someone can be so naive.

his eyes search mine, genuinely not understanding where any of this has come from. he nears me once again, but i take a step back, not wanting to be anywhere near him right now, taking his silence as an opportunity to carry on with my fit of rage.

“what happened is you made my boyfriend break up with me, and you don’t even care!” my voice is raised, just below a shout as his eyebrows furrow, expression now mirroring my rage, as he opens his mouth, ready to lash out on me as i had on him.

“i made him break up with you? are you fucking insane?” he lets out a frustrated laugh, tongue playing with his lip ring as he steps back.

“you answered the phone! i don’t know what shit you were trying to fucking pull, but this is your fault, don’t make me out to be the crazy one!” i shoot back, digging a finger into his chest as i point at him, done with his attempts to manipulate this entire situation.

“you’ve been cheating on him for the past three months! since when do you give a fuck about his feelings or your relationship? it couldn’t have been that fucking great if you felt the need to fuck me on the daily!” each word that falls from his lips pierce me in the chest, completely taken aback at his nerve. the second that my face falls, mouth opening with no sound coming from it, he knows that he has gone too far.

“wow.” i scoff, searching the room for the rest of my clothes. “that’s fucking low.”

“is it? ‘cause the last time i checked, you don’t fuck someone else whilst you’re in a relationship unless it’s gone to shit. stop acting like i’ve ruined something that actually mattered to you, like you had a perfect relationship. it takes two people to fuck, you’re no fucking saint.” he keeps going, knowing that he is getting to me, aware of the right buttons to press - and he is hitting every single one, scoffing when he sees my face fall, tears falling at a much faster pace.

i struggle to find the right words, stuck in place as i know that he is right. though he said it in the harshest way possible, i am no better than him, if anything, i am worse, tom not in a relationship like i was. and it is that realisation that kills me slowly, twisting the blade inside me as i stand silently, tears now cascading down my cheeks.

“thanks. if you were looking to make me feel worse than i already do then you’ve done a pretty good fucking job.” my voice is low as i refuse to meet his eyes, completely ashamed. i slip my hoodie over my frame, redressing myself as i begin to feel uncomfortable in such little clothing in front of him, the confidence that would usually surround me long gone.

his face softens once i walk towards the door, panic setting in as he rushes to stand in front of it, blocking my exit.

“fuck- i didn’t mean it like that. don’t go.” he pleads, his eyes sorry as they look into mine, searching for any hint that his subtle begging is working.

“why should i stay? so you can ridicule me even more? tell me how much of a slut i am? that i should feel guilty, and it’s all my fault?” i scoff, listing off the endless scenarios.

“why would i do that?” he asks, his voice now softer, the anger that previously dominated it long gone as he seems somewhat sorry for me.

i stay silent, partly intrigued to hear him continue, however also knowing that my tears are preventing me from producing coherent speech. he takes a step towards me, hand lightly brushing against mine as he takes a deep breath, opening his mouth to speak.

“wanna know why i hated him so much?” he asks.

the question had always lingered in the back of my mind. i knew, from the way tom’s face twisted in disgust the first time i told him i had a boyfriend, that he despised him, his hatred only growing each time i would mention him. he never said why, instead using his name to fuel his own desire, never failing to remind me that he could never fuck me that way tom would, always slipping his name into the conversation as some reminder that what i had with tom was far better than anything i had going on with my boyfriend.

i look upwards, my eyes meeting his, my gaze a silent nod of agreement to his question.

“i couldn’t stand the thought of him touching you, being around you, knowing that you belonged to him and not me. drove me fucking insane. i loved that i got to see a side of you he never did, i loved seeing you underneath me, because i knew that that was the only time you belonged to me.”

my eyebrows furrow, trying to understand what he is saying, confused on how it has taken this long for him to say all of this.

“i like you. since that night when we hooked up at the club, i couldn’t stop thinking about you. i tried, but somehow everything came back to you. and it killed me knowing that all i could do was fuck you, knowing that you’d never feel the same way, because of him. and i hated him for it, i still do, because all i could think about is you being in love with someone else, wishing just for one second you’d care about me the way you do him.”

he pours his heart out, lips staying parted once he finishes, trying to make out my thoughts from my facial expression. i give him nothing, only able to stand there in pure shock, not ever anticipating anything like this, especially from someone like tom. i knew his reputation, and i knew that i wasn’t the only girl he was fucking, but it had never mattered for me. it was wrong for me to be doing this with him in the first place - catching feelings would be on a whole new wavelength of immoral.

“say something, please.” he mutters, his voice desperate as my silence only lets his words linger, the atmosphere turning from tense to uneasy.

it may be rash, and admittedly, my mind is hazy from the entire situation, yet in this moment, i don’t care, and it is this impulse that brings me to press my lips against his, arms wrapping around his neck as i pull him closer. he quickly kisses back, hands running to my lower back as he smiles into it, something about his lips against mine igniting a spark that i had never felt before, and though it was wrong, it felt so right - it always had.

against all odds, against everything that was deemed morally correct, i need him, and though it took his unexpected confession for me to realise it, i am more sure than ever, holding onto him tighter and tighter as he does the same, pulling away and smiling against me.

“i hate how crazy you make me.” he mutters against my lips, his cold breath fanning against them. “but i don’t want it to stop.”

those are the final words he says before reconnecting our lips, carrying the unspoken promise that he means every part of it, the missing piece within me now found, finally realising that what i needed had been right in front of me the whole time.

As a trans man who is generally smaller than cis men I really appreciate how you/others draw trans kabru Because he has a similar body size to me. I feel like for a long time I only saw trans men in fandom drawn as basically ‘cis but with top surgery scars’ which obviously some guys do look like but it was kind of othering for me. people drawing trans kabru with traits I have is really nice to see. I feel like saying that people are drawing him ~womanly~ for drawing him with traits many trans men have is a little fucked tbh

yeah thats what gets me too. it just makes me sad bc there’s not that much content of trans kabru already compared to majority of his fanart, and much less of him having pre-op features, and seeing a few trans people say its transphobic or smth of the sort is really insulting (not just talking abt the prev post, but i made the mistake of looking up labru here lol. ppl on tumblr REALLY hate it)

1. He won't stop trying to be friends with you

2. He has more influence, power, and money and you really can't afford to have him as an enemy

You gang up on people, by tag teaming them [Usually Tamaki is the victim of your tagteams]

Hikaru realize he actually really likes you, because you're actually kind of funny

He denies his feelings tho

He actually tries pushing you away in fear of these feelings. He doesn't want you to hurt him, so he ends up hurting you

This really pisses you off and you try confronting him

But he just avoids you

Kaoru tries asking him about it, but Hikaru either avoids the question or shrugs him off

Kaoru will soon pick up on Hikaru's feelings though, because that's his twin

He [Kaoru] confronts his brother and Hikaru tries to deny it, but he's cornered and he finally yells at Kaoru saying-

"Fine! I like them! Are you happy?"

Yes, Kaoru is happy and he pushes Hikaru to confess to you

It takes a while, but Hikaru eventually does do it, while Kaoru spies hoping for the best for his brother

Kaoru Hitachiin

He thought you were pretty and wanted to talk to you

Your grumpyness doesn't bother him, because his twin brother is grumpy too, so he's used to it

He'll listen to you rant and complain and try and give you advice

I was shocked and had to re-read the chapter to better process that.

Since the start of TSH, Oak has repeatedly expressed that being an heir is a terrible experience for him. He is always fighting to protect himself and his loved ones. He feels like a burden to his family. Think about it; his family was torn apart, the royal family was murdered, Jude and Madoc fought, Jude almost lost her life on many occasions including Cardan, and Heather and Vivi spent their first time living together "babysitting" him. He feels both responsible for everything and useless at the same time.

It sucks to learn that oak has been sexually exploiting himself to protect his loved one :( its very heartbreaking, and its shocking that Oriana, Jude, Vivi, or Taryn aren't aware of any of it. Are they even watching over him??? I know Jude assigned Tiernan as his personal guard...but mannn...does he suck at his job. NO HATE ON TIERNAN BTW, i adore him, and I know he's trying his best. But Tiernan has already failed two times to protect Oak. Even in The Stolen Heir there had been times where Oak had gotten hurt/injured from an attempted murder. Like the time he got cut in the throat by folk that wanted him to kill Jude and Cardan, or the time he got poisoned (and get this Jude and Cardan are NOT aware of that) I see Tiernan playing a big part in The Prisoner's Throne for many reasons, and I hope to find out how Jude decides to take the news on how Tiernan went back to Elfhame without Oak; the person he failed to protect. (We all know Jude will be absolutely furious with him) To answer your question, he's definitely doing this secretly and willingly, but he does it to protect his loved ones, including himself. It makes me sad how he had to go that FAR. If anything, i believe Jude and Cardan aren't aware of any of it because they have royal duties to attend to. The ONLY two people I will blame for Oak going this far is Tiernan and Oriana. Specially Oriana (love her too, im not attacking her, i promise) But where was she? How come during The Stolen Heir, Elfhame didn't noticed that Oak was missing? Does Oriana just let him freely go? Like I understand he's 17 but in TSH he was gone for a long time. You'd think Oriana would've found out that something was wrong during the time Oak left Elfhame. And Tiernan went against Jude command of going to save Madoc along Oak. Although I'm aware that Oak had other motives of doing what he did in TSH, and Holly has mentioned that there's a huge problem in Elfhame that us readers don't know about that set Oak in motion of doing what he did in TSH.

sigh....80 days until this book comes out. we have to hold on just a little longer (quietly sobs into pillow)

Ok i literally was waiting so much to see Lucifer n Lilith being a really happy and cute maried couple and now yall telling me that THEY DIVORCED??????? IM LITERALLY CRYIN WHAHT??? 😭

and OMG LUCIFER. HES SUCH A BABY, SWEETIE, SCRUNKY, CUTIE PATOOTIE!!! HES SO SILLY, I WISH I HAD DAD LIKE HIM. JUST LOOK AT HIM OH MAI GAHD

And his voice is really cool too! Not really what i expected him to sound like but still good! N the way he speaks is really funny too:

Also the fact that Alastor was immediatly so pissed when Luci just steped into hotel is really strange. Maybe something happened between them that we dont know so far? Cuz purposely making Luci mad literally 5 secs after u met each other is really weird.

AND OMG THIS SONG IS TOTALLY NEW FAVOURITE BY NOW, THEY LITERALLY DID AN ELECTRO SWING SONG LIKE HELL YEAH!!! N THE FACT THAT LUCI OUT OF NOWHERE STARTS PLAING VIOLIN AGGRESSIVELY AND THEN SHUTS ALASTOR UP WITH AN ACCORDION IN THIS IS THE BEST TGING EVER.

i dont know how i think bout Mimzy rn. All i gotta say is she have a really cool singing voice!

And this shot is really adorable

Ok we actually now know from Husk that someone actually having Alastors soul! Just think about it: someone have AN OVERLORDS SOUL. Not ex-overlord like Husk, AN ACTUAL OVERLORD. Is this even possible??

This last song made me cry (again). I feel so bad for Luci, he was abandoned by heaven n he just doesnt want the same fate for his beautiful daughter, cuz she is the only thing he live for (i want him to be my dad so much omg..)

Also when Lilith took little Charlie away from Luci, it was sad, but it actually made me think, what if Lilith will be an antogonist? What if she will be the bad person? Maybe the main vilian even. I think if that will actually happen everyone will go CRAZY. But thats just my lil thought.

Ok, 6th ep! I actually didnt expect that we will see heaven so soon!

Ok but sir Pentious is GOT CRUSH ON CHERRI BOMB??? WHA??? THAT WAS SOMETHING I REALLY DIDNT EXPECT

Also i expected heaven to be much more strict place with many rules, where noone is alowed to swear. But turned out that its actually just a hell with better people and more rules, thats all. And its actually really strange that u can swear in heaven. Im not talking about Adam n Lute, cuz theyre exterminators and clearly just awhul ppl, this guy infront of heavens gates actually said fuck. Maybe im just wrong, but isnt swearing unacceptable in christianity?..

Also HELL YEAH we nailed it! We were right about Vaggie being a fallen angel. But the reason why she fell.... She was an exterminator and literally just didnt kill one child (which is really shows us that she have a kind heart) BUT SHE WAS EXPELED FOR IT IN SUCH HORRIBLE WAY.

I JUST DONT HAVE ENOUGH RAGE TO DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I HATE THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS. I REALLY HOPE WHEN HEAVEN DECIDES TO REDEEM PPL FROM HELL, THEY BOTH WILL GO TO FUCKING HELL FOR ALL THOSE VILENCE THEY BROUGHT TO WORLD, THAT WOULD BE FUCKING HILARIOUS.

Also Cherri Bomb is being kinda toxic friend to Angel n i dont like that.

ALSO ANGEL STOOD UP AGAINST VAL!! HELL YEAH, SLAY SPIDERBOI!!! IM LITERALLY NOT SCARED OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HIM WHEN HE WILL GO BACK TO HIS JOB!! IM NOT SCARED AT ALL!!!!

Ok this last song WAS SO EPIC!! ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARLIE N EMILY DID UNO REVERSE ON ADAMS SONG FROM EP 1!!

AND THAT PART WHEN ADAM REVEALED THAT VAGGIE IS AN ANGEL WAS SO EPIC TOO I LITERALLY GOT CHILS

and Charlies reaction to that was actually really heartbreaking

And everything ended up with Adam winning. I really hope that justice will overtake in this whole situation and Charlies plan will work. And im really interested to see Charlie n Vaggies relationships after that reveal. I honestly think that Charlie will forgive her, but its still really interesting.

Wow, it took me long enough to make this post.. I really like direction this show goes, n i can not wait for the next 2 eps!!

just wondering aloud here but what do you think about the many negative feelings towards itachi? i mean obviously he did very bad things but i think about my siblings (and family, and friends, and loved ones) and maybe i wouldn’t go so far as to annihilate my entire clan like he did, but… i would go very far for them, i think. once someone recognizes how his betrayal and actions thereafter are out of love and duty the theme/story becomes very, very different, just mostly sad.

which is not to mention that he was a child soldier and was straight up murdering ppl before he turned ten!! at ten i was still making mud pies with dirt outside !!!!

also it’s not that deep but idk i think about the two brothers and get sad sometimes.

okay this is a really complicated because as much as i like itachi as a character i understand very well why people hate him or are critical of him.

the thing about itachi people hate is how he’s portrayed in the narrative itself. kishimoto wants the audience to view itachi massacring his family as a good and honorable thing and not as something horrific. his crime is glorified as the peak of a great shinobi and will of fire, which in the text, are put as the good side. so ofc anyone that actually stops and thinks what they are reading will go HUH?

its true that itachi was a child soldier and was groomed at 13 to do what he did but itachi dies as a grown person and STILL he never thinks of the course action he took as the wrong one. it certainly brought guilt to him killing his clan if he wanted to be killed so bad by sasuke’s hands to “right” things but until the very end he saw his clan as if they had been in the wrong for standing against konoha. and yes we can just say that’s because how deep the brainwashing went but it still doesn’t absolve him because as any grown person you have to do retrospection in your life. (sorry for using my dumb phd in star wars here as an example but take anakin. he was groomed to become evil since he was a child yet still you can’t say he’s not a villain because at the end of the day it’s him who is killing children and the movie doesn’t tell you this is good thing because he’s doing it to “save” his wife. it’s a selfish horrific act and the narrative paints it as such)

it doesn’t help that itachi as a character is a big mess in certain areas that came with him being a straight up villain in part 1 then “broken hero” in part 2. it’s true itachi chooses danzo’s way to kill their entire clan to spare his little brother’s life but the elders did not tell him to make sasuke watch that and psychologically ruin sasuke for life, and then coming back to the village and doing it again. he did that in his own accord because he selfishly wants to dictate sasuke’s actions. he was very controlling of sasuke’s life but the funniest thing is that he couldn’t see it until after he dies but people still paint these actions as good (even though in his rarest moment where he gained self awareness, he says himself he was wrong).

i don’t doubt he loves sasuke more than anything but for 99% of his arc it was a very obsessive and controlling and ruthless kind of love in which he was the one to hurt sasuke the most with the actions he committed to protect him.

i personally love and hate itachi as a character, he’s fascinating because of how fucked up he really is. i enjoy characters like that overall. and i love fucked up siblings relationships and itachi and sasuke are one that drives me crazy because the love is really there despite everything! but still i’m not blind to kishimoto’s propaganda i can see the faults in his writing and why people (me included) hate the narrative he tried to push

Another ‘HUNGER GAMES’ update nobody asked for.

I am so sad rn. SO MANY PPL DIED AND I CRIED BUT NOBODY HURT ME LIKE FINNICK. HIS YELLS FOR KATNISS HAUNT ME. AND THE WORST PART IS I WAS WATCHING IT IN FRONT OF MY FAMILY AND COULDNT CRY UNLESS I WANTED THEM TO THINK I WAS HAVING ANOTHER MENTAL BREAKDOWN LIKE MY THROAT STILL HURTS FROM HOLDING BACK TEARS. No seriously why did they make him so lovable likeee. You could’ve killed gale (whom i acc love as of right now), peeta (we all know how i feel abt him…), ANYONE but you chose FINNICK? ALSO he died saving katniss and then yelled for her to help him and she BLEW HIM UP!!! Like i get she probably didn’t want him to suffer in death but like MY BABYYYYY. I couldn’t even finish the movie. I need someone to say sike RIGHT NOW!

And another thing. I didn’t know a lot going into watching this but peeta being katniss’s love interest but gale is like a catch tho. SO FAR AT LEAST. But i 100% would’ve went for gale. And i also just really dislike peeta. Anyway i did like Coriolanus (younger) because he was played by Tom Blythe but i 110% hate him because he killed finnick later in his life and i truly hope he dies a painful death by those sores in his mouth.

Koala Bear Kuai Liang has a reputation among the defenders for how cuddly he is, and while Hanzo is the one usually bearing the brunt of that, other characters have too.

Jax once had to deal with Kuai Liang hugging him for a full five minutes in dead silence

Frost has been picked up in a bear hug and swung about, much to her confusion (and joy bc lets be real, bbygirl is touch starved and craves affection)

Imagining that Liu Kang and Kung Lao never died (bc f that), Liu Kang once had to deal with Kuai Liang hanging off of his back like a cape (made difficult by the fact that Kuai Liang is about 7 inches taller than Liu Kang in my hc)

Kung Lao and Johnny have both made out with a drunk Kuai Liang (while also being drunk themselves and y'all, I got drunk headcanons for the whole roster if you want em, just say the word) and maintain that it was a heavenly experience

Kung Lao's exact words were "if I didn't know that Hanzo would burn me alive for it, I would be at Kuai Liang's doorstep begging to bed him.

Johnny has bedded him and seconds that sentiment

Kuai Liang is also a surprisingly good dancer when drunk, like no matter how many he's had he can still bust a move with the best of them (then he tries to walk normally and trips and falls on his face)

Tipsy Statue Kuai Liang also has a reputation, with there being an entire gc dedicated to pictures of him standing still and unblinking as he tries to hide the fact that he's tipsy.

Also gonna sneak my Autistic Kuai Liang headcanon into here bc I will die on this hill, but once he gets chatty he will infodump on the nearest person. Out of all the defenders, Sonya is the one who tolerates it best bc she's used to it from Johnny. Hanzo obviously is a close second, and only in second bc he keeps getting distracted by how pretty Kuai Liang is when his brown isn't constantly furrowed.

Further into the Autistic Kuai Liang headcanon, always has the urge to run his hands through Hanzo's hair as a stim but restrains himself. Until he gets drunk in which case his hands rarely ever leave Hanzo's hair

bless him but Hanzo is Struggling with that

Kuai Liang doesn't tend to do shots, But, he will if it is part of one of Johnny's games (I hc that he gets all the defenders together at his mansion every now and again as "team building")

his favorite shot is a jaeger bomb and his least favorite is tequila

He refuses to drink cocktails, not bc he doesn't like them but bc Johnny makes them strong enough to kill a man and the last time Kuai Liang drank one he very nearly made a Bad Decision (almost slept with an equally drunk Erron Black)

Slightly sad drunk Kuai Liang hc: the way he behaves when he is drunk is very similar to the personality he would have had if he had never been kidnapped by the Lin Kuei, like if he had lived a normal life he would be something like that. At least, that is how he thinks of it, even if the reality is somewhat different.

Side note: I might make a tier list of all the people Kuai Liang either has/will/would never drunkenly made out with if anyone is interested in that? lemme know

Whenever Kuai Liang drinks, he is around friends too, like that's not something he does on his own or in public for him it's only ever social. After a while, all the defenders kinda get to know how they all are when they're drunk so they look out for one another.

For Kuai Liang this usually means he's gently guided towards a bed whenever he starts looking sleepy, usually by Hanzo, and bc he's super tactile whoever it is has to hold his hand until he's fully asleep or he'll cry

It is, in fact, the only time any of them have ever seen him cry and they all hate the sight of it now and will avoid it at all costs.

I'm sure I can think of more later, so lemme know if you want them. I've also seen ppl on tumblr do a thing where they answer asks in character, I have no idea if I'd be good at that or if anyone wants to see that but if you have any questions for drunk (or sober) Kuai Liang, feel free to send them over?

on my old blog i was talking about the porn industry preying on marginalized communities namely corporal giants knowingly hosting trafficking material / underage material / swarms of incredibly racist and bigoted content and ignoring the people begging to have their content taken down / introspection of the content being hosted on their platforms and how different irl sex work (stripping, full service, escorts) is from onlyfans and essentially how different irl sw is from camming regarding basic risk and battery ect ect and ppl got rlly mad about it but my main point is not that swers cant make choices or shouldn’t have the right to make their career however they see fit bit that the industry is deeply misogynistic in nature and saying so is not an attack on them but rather a criticism of why sex sells, namely the discussion had points about the differences of how statistically transfems swers have a wildly different experience with sw compared to people who offer services solely online and we should be listening to experiences from all sw and not just online creators who have the opportunity to screen and choose clientele that many irl swers do not have, only bringing this up bc of seeing mutuals comment on a post where the op centers men who pay for sex services and incels (they specifically mentioned incels im not just calling these clientele incels) as ‘sad’ and in needing of defense for mild mockery, which to me i don’t find the act of purchasing porn or paying someone for sex inherently harmful to a degree but i don’t understand how mildly being like “lol this guy had to pay someone to sleep with him” is bad or evil especially when the op themselves mentioned incels in regards to who could be clients as if being a self identified incel isn’t an inherently misogynistic state, yadda yadda before someone gets mad no im not a terf, trans women r women, and trans women across the board make up a large portion of irl sex workers specifically bc of facing transphobia that often makes it hard for them to remain in the regular workforce, feminism has to be intersectional or it is meaningless, criticizing industries that are built on the backs of mostly women is not an attack on women who participate but just a criticism of how they are often not protected and subjected to unfair treatment by their bosses and the police force, i think my experience of growing up and mainly seeing curb escorts in my community as well as being trafficked myself has given me a lot of ig perspective? i think the convo is more nuanced than “all clients are saints and if u joke about them being lame ur just a misandrist / hate sex workers” and i also dislike how a lot of the conversation centers online sw when a majority of swers are irl workers, not to say online sw isn’t real and has no risk but that it is a different ball park
