Jean telling them they can't blow up the bones while Reiners down there battling the parasite. Just another instance where Jean was watching out for Reiner.
It must have been love
But it's over now
It must have been good
But I lost it somehow
It must have been love
But it's over now
From the moment we touched
Till the time had run out

Carly Rae Jepsen AI - It Must Have Been Love (Roxette/Amber Leigh Irish Cover) This model is still in WIP. I didn’t expect her voice to sound this sweet OMG
As wonderful of a song as this is, and as whorish to American capitalism as the movie is, I guess I'm more of a realist, knowing my parents wanted the lives they saw on television but felt unable to obtain them... you know.... as is pretty typical.
One hell of a strange fairytale, that movie, isn't it kids? One only a totally fucked up society could generate, I'd reckon, even though to these people it's probably all fun and games to have 'businessmen' and 'prostitutes' being people's identities in life.
When I think of people from my past, certain ones, the lyric is It Must Have Been Shove. I also do the same with Summer of Shove.
Anyhow, the truth is that Americans shove for that money and power and for their whims, their desires to control other people's lives. I could never do that to anyone... I don't fit in with this country because I'm not controlling and bumptious enough for it. You gotta be evil to rise through the ranks of evil, I suppose.
Song fits my life quite well when you just fix the lyrics to be grounded in reality. The American doesn't know how to love and is cynical about the very concept, because as a concept, that concept is antithetical to power and money, which are what it truly wants to use everyone it can use for -- tho it won't try to use a rightist, since those are not on its subconscious's radar as 'particularly problematic', it will try to use every minority and leftist for sure.
It Must Have Been Shove. Anyhow, i'll put it on the mix since that's the lyric that always comes up when I'm real about the song.
Wait, did you put a photo of Vil and Neige as kids in Eric’s office??
oh good, I was afraid that wasn't going to read properly and people would just be like "what is this supposed to be". :') but yeah! I like to think Eric was pretty fond of Neige as a kid! single dad sees orphan child approximately the same age as his own son and goes "hmm. okay, you guys are going to be friends now." (this did not go as well as he'd hoped.)
(also I do love how it's kind of a running joke that everyone loves Neige except for Vil, who's standing over in the corner and just seething with furious irrational hatred. someday maybe he'll find someone who doesn't think Neige is the best thing since cinnamon rolls.)
