Tomorrow x Together (teaser)

pairings: txt members x reader

summary: five boys, five stories.

a/n: this will be my first mini series for TXT! Yehey! I’m really happy and excited. I hope you guys will support this and my upcoming works for them. I actually got the ideas from their songs and tried to give a good teaser but then i think i failed at some point hehe. The lines at the beginnings were lyrics ksksks Also, I used didn’t put Kai’s surname in the pic, it’s bc his name is too long:( Anyway, enjoy and have a nice day! 🌸 (tag-list is open!)

soobin

“my heart sank into a maze of memories.”

— do you have someone you value the most? someone you feel like you can never lose in your life.

— well, for soobin, yes. you are the most important person in his life. he can never look forward for tomorrow without you.

— just like any other stories, yours and soobin’s didn’t started in a good way. he was the type of person who don’t express himself much. always, quiet and just preferred to be left alone.

— but that just made you grow more interested and curious of him. that’s why despite his rude remarks, you stepped in and finally earn his attention

— from being the person he hates the most to the person he cherishes more than himself. it was the glow up you never expected to get.

— you two became close as your relationship grew stronger and your feelings became deeper. and soon. you’ve became inseparable.

— “Don’t go breaking my heart.” soobin whispered over at you, lips softly touching your ears. a smile grew over your face as you slowly face him.

— “I will never do that.” with a soft caring touch, you cupped his face.

— soobin was contented as long as you’re beside him, assuring him that everything will be okay. he was so sure that you two will be together forever.

— and that’s why when he lose you, he was broken and his heart sank into a maze of the memories of the two of you.

yeonjun

“Run away with me.”

— nothing’s more hurtful than to not be with someone you truly loves. and for yeonjun, he will do anything just to be with you.

— ever since, your mother wasn’t really fond of your relationship with him. she wanted somebody else for you and since you’re madly in love with yeonjun, she cannot do anything about it.

— it came to the point that she started interfering between you. started to forbid you from seeing him, always telling you bad things about him like as if she really wanted you to call it off.

— the situation was clearly giving you a hard time because it’s like you are required to choose between two important things over your life--family over yeonjun.

— you love your family but you can’t afford losing yeonjun as well and so you had decided to go with him.

— yeonjun starred at you while you’re quietly sitting at the passenger seat of his car. a small smile spreads to his face, happy that despite of all the chaos, you are there with him.

— he slowly reached out and held unto your hand. it caught your attention as you turn towards him, showing off a small smile.

— “Are you scared?” he asked softly. you pursed your lips as you held unto his hand as well after giving him a nod.

— he let out a small chuckle, “It’s okay, don’t be afraid.”

— your eyes never left his as you nodded afterwards entrusting everything to him. you are indeed afraid but knowing that yeonjun was there for you, makes you feel at ease.

beomgyu

“I don’t wanna be just friends.”

— having both of your parents close to each other, beomgyu and you grew up together. you had known him ever since you were born.

— he was your best-friend and also your greatest enemy. always there for you no matter what. eventually, the comfort you felt whenever you’re with him slowly turned into something deeper.

— you started developing feelings for him and without you knowing, it was the same for him.

— you were a bit worried because beomgyu was very good-looking that made most of the girls in your school to like him. he was basically very popular but it seems like he don’t care so much about it

— being close to beomgyu also means that you’re always with him as well, so not just once had you witnessed him turning down every single girls who confessed to him

— you gulped as you carefully watch the newly rejected one walk sadly away from where you were sitting. you felt bad for her but also delighted because beomgyu didn’t return her feelings

— your eyes soon darted over to the boy beside you who was quietly reading his book like as if nobody just confessed their feelings at him.

— “Why you kept on rejecting them? S-She’s beautiful.” you said trying to start a conversation. he lets out a small sigh before he looks up at you.

— you felt your breath hitched a bit as your eyes met his. they always look blank and cold whenever his talking to other people but when it’s you, it’s warm and expressive.

— “With my two eyes, I can only see you.” you blinked twice completely surprise at what you just heard. you tried searching for a slight hint of chance that he was just kidding but none.

— his face was dead serious that it actually made you feel nervous and shake a bit. you were a dumbfounded by the sudden indirect confession.

— “I don’t want to be just friends, y/n.”

taehyun

“Melt the cold me.”

— taehyun was known for being an introvert. he preferred to be by himself all the time and really don’t mind being alone.

— he was always quiet and refused to talk to other people. he was always cold to everyone, thinking they’re not really worthy of his attention.

— you on the other hand, was the complete opposite of him. you just recently moved into their town and so everything was new to you.

— you felt really excited even if it was all new for you. as you enter your new school, your eyes was filled with amusement because it was really beautiful.

— eyes darted at you as you enter the classroom. smiling, not even slightly bothered by their stares, you roam your eyes around. trying to see the faces of the students that you will be with for a whole school year.

— “hi, i’m y/n. please take good care of me!” your soft but energetic voice reached taehyun’s ears. he wasn’t paying much attention. not really interested.

— he raised his head and met your eyes. both of you kept your stares with each other, didn’t really catch what the teacher was saying.

— you were captivated by his beautiful eyes, it did look cold for some reason but something about it attracts you. with a small wave at him you even smiled.

— taehyun was already used with the attention from the opposite sex so it wasn’t really a big deal for him. he kept his straight face then starred back down over his textbook.

— you pouted but smile right after, he was cute for you. luckily, he still don’t have a desk-mate so you were told to sit beside him.

— and just then you learned that taehyun was originally a quiet and cold guy. it didn’t stop you tho, to try to get closer to him as to leads to the journey of you melting the cold in him.

heuning kai

“If we are together no matter where we are I still feel summer.”

— for heuning kai, summer was his comfort weather. whenever he’s sad or scared, he always thinks about anything that reminds him of that weather and he will be okay.

— he grew up in a place where he can fully enjoy the summer. house at the country side, away from all the pollution of the city. he thought it was really relaxing.

— the place was perfect for every summer activities that’s why he really likes it there.

— but then when his parents announced that they had to move over to the city because of his Dad, he became so sad but he knew he have no choice.

— kai was uncomfortable by moving into a new place, he wasn’t used to all the noise and pollution of the city. he wasn’t enjoying it.

— not to be exaggerated but the sudden change of environment was making heuning kai feel sick because he wasn’t used to it.

— he thought he could never enjoy there until he encountered you.

— the moment he first saw you, he was amused at how beautiful you are. you were always smiling brightly that kinds of reminds him of the bright sun every summer. you were always kind that makes you seem very warm.

— he was obviously having a hard time but you were there to help him every time. he clearly enjoyed your company since you were so nice to him.

— it was just a matter of time when you two slowly became so close to each other. heuning kai didn’t even notice how he was slowly adapting to his new home.

— you were the one who managed to show him that the place were not so bad at all. it was you who made him appreciate these new things.

— kai slowly found something that comforts him in that new place, you became his summer.

he’s one of those dudes that like strictly plays cod or fortnite or overwatch yknow those kinds of streamers. he has one game he always plays and doesnt stray from it too often

but then like 5 of his friends will be in discord spamming him to play minecraft with them

and he still manages to yell because he keeps dying to creepers or soonyoung accidentally set their house on fire

but he will play other stuff with his friends

lowkey rages but he tries to not get too angry when he’s streaming

takes games really serious and gets competitive

there have been times though where he’s gotten so angry he just got up and left his desk

lots of huffing and there are some outburts of “WHAT!” and stuff like that

the amount of times he’s had to pause stream to help soonyoung figure his own shit out is far too much

Jihoon

despite playing games all the time, he doesn’t stream often because he forgets or doesn’t feel like turning the stream on lmao

so he also has a smaller audience like josh

he doesn’t talk much when he plays

he reads chat but he doesn’t reply much unless he’s like explaining something to someone or giving advice or something

will ban you for a day if you say he’s cute lmao

but his mods started calling him cute too and now his whole chat is just a mess lmao

but he’s started slowly opening up more and more

he’s picky about games he plays so he also has a set of certain games he’ll play

unless he’s really bored and all of his friends are nagging him to play something else with them

claims he hates goofy games but giggles up a storm when they play fall guys simply because “they run funny”

but overall he takes games pretty seriously and does get mad when he’s losing a lot or not doing well

nobody ever knows when he’ll stream again he’ll stream one day and then won’t ever again for like another 2 weeks at 1am out of nowhere

Napoleon. Would prbly be that kid that’s like somehow bafflingly in the top ten of his class but nobody ever sees him??? Like he’s always late to school or napping in the quietest places on campus (they found him in a locker once and the school was laughing about it for WEEKS bc he insisted he was just chillin, and it wasn’t like a bullying incident he just wanted to sleep LMAO). Surprisingly amiable? A lot of people are afraid of him at first but he’s just so casual and direct, he gains quite a few friends (and a good number of girls have a crush on him--he always diverts the attention of skeevy guys). Good friends with Jeanne because they fence together a lot, and people are always baffled at how easily they chat

Mozart. Where do I begin. Number one in his class, perfectionist prick. That one kid that’s a known prodigy and that everyone hates for his impeccable grades and musical talent. Always gets the solos and conducting roles in the school performances. He knows how to play a crowd--will always be sweet and cherubic in front of teachers. But when it’s just the students? All gloves are off. Frigid and incendiary, will not take any shit and will tear you apart with words in milliseconds. Do not cross. He will end your entire life and self-esteem, it’s not worth it. Has a few friends, and they often experience the disdain of jealous students--but they’re all steadfast about defending him. And Mozart will not tolerate it if people are mistreating his friends, he’s an iron wall of defense; to be his friend means to always have someone looking out for you, make no mistake. He and Jeanne often grab food together after practice and ask about each others day, they hella close but never really show it while school’s on--their class schedules are worlds apart bc of their grades, and at lunch they’re usually practicing/doing hw. When they hug it out at graduation and pat each other on the back everyone nearly falls the fuck out of their chair LMFAO

Leonardo. That kid that 100% could probably be in the top fifty of his class but just can’t be bothered to give a damn. Always argues points with his teachers and plays devil’s advocate until they are inches from exploding at him. Always the one to mercifully make class feel shorter with his absolute distraction-heavy shitfuckery (and sometimes you really learn something because of his line of thinking). He's a dumbass but like harmless, essentially. Used to be the perfect student^TM and then decided the system was bullshit and he wanted no part of it, thinks public education can kiss his ass. Nobody knows it since he asks people not to talk about it, but he tutors kids after school for hours--has brought kids from Ds to Bs. He always dodges nosy people, never goes to parties, and finds ways to intervene around kids that are struggling with smth (with ninja stealth of course). Despite how easily he laughs and chats with just about anyone, he’s...actually surprisingly v much a lone wolf. Only ever consistently hangs out with the heartthrob rich kid, but nobody understands why???? And they’re always roasting each other wtf, are they even friends????

Comte. Pretty boy genius, always in the top five of his class though doesn’t seem too worried about it or obsessed with rank as students often are. It’s more that his parents have high expectations for his future as their heir, so he tends to fall in line with it. Born into money but somehow....not an asshole??? He doesn’t really like showing off, tries to be quiet about his accomplishments but his parents won’t really allow it--and he’s the star of the soccer team so it can be hard to hide. Most often the one at a party trying to help people sober up (always designated driver) or hearing his friends out when they have a problem. Has never publicly tried to bust heads, but some of the guys in the school insist he’s got a dark side--probably because he threatened them (passive aggressively) within an inch of their lives for being disgusting to girls. But nobody believes them bc...I mean look at him, does that look like a threat?? He just bought that kid’s lunch for christ’s sake. TONS of girls ask him out and confess their feelings, and he always lets them down as gently as he can--conceivably doesn’t like anyone himself, as far as the student body knows. Like Leonardo he’s v amiable, but also manages to reveal nothing personal while getting close. Leonardo’s the only one that’s managed to scratch the surface, and the kid won’t leave him alone for some godforsaken reason. And yet, he seems to enjoy their minutes of banter more than the hours of time spent with “friends”

Arthur. Oh boy. Good lord. Well. He used to be a sweetheart that would always seek out the mousier students and bring them into discussion/involve them on the playground. But alas, Teenage Jadedness^TM hit him like a train and now he’s an incorrigible flirt and believes no single person can be good deep down (somebody get this bitch some eyeliner). Believes the world will always be a cruel and unfeeling place where victims are never heard, so he just kind of goes full skeptical and bitter (think Sylvain for those of you that are FE fans). Has fun with every girl he sees (usually dating several girls at once) and doesn’t much care for his grades, but somehow has perfect scores in English?? He insists it’s because he needs to keep his seduction game on par with the voices of older legends before him, but some of the girls that see him in the library from time to time--v serious--are struck by how attractive he is in such deep focus, entirely uncharacteristic of his nosy and boisterous behavior in the halls (can often be seen whirling around Isaac like a bird of prey while our little baby robin Isaac stiffly tries to get away from him, and Dazai often joins to make things even more chaotic bc why not? In reality they just love this feisty kid that never gives up on what’s right, even though they’ve both given up trying themselves)

Dazai. He’s one of those kids that like does weed regularly but is also like...alarmingly insightful?? Like those kids I was always told to avoid, but now and again I would have conversations with out of necessity and was just...kinda shook. I mean granted he’s a little weird but he’s fairly harmless?? He’s like a class clown but on a massive scale--there’s nobody in the place that doesn’t know who he is, that haven’t heard tales of his exploits (he always comes in through the windows and gets detention for it a lot, and he even brought a chicken with him to school once????) nobody gets what he’s doing at any moment (don’t even know if he does really, chaotic mofo) and honestly nobody wants to know they just do the side eye meme when he appears or laughs. The teachers lament his untapped potential or just hate him for making their lives an even bigger headache than usual, and his grades are...yeah let’s not look at those. Organized the senior prank with absolute GLEE, and it was talked about for ages after he was gone--an inspiration chaotic bastards everywhere

Theodorus. (I hate.......that I pictured him in those like Vineyard Vine white boy clothes.......for the record its mostly bc his parents force him to wear them). All business. This kid doesn’t have time for your bullshit, will absolutely walk away if you’re boring him or seeking social clout. Popular because he’s hot and has a mean streak a mile wide, all the girls that didn’t like Mozart for being ethereal and effeminate boomeranged to find Theo ready to fulfill their hopes and dreams. They only grow more feral when rumors of him actually being fairly nice one on one--and telling creeps to fuck off of vulnerable girls at parties--start to circulate. (If he isn’t with Vincent, Arthur is probably near. Nobody understands how the two are brothers????) Van Gogh name apparently is just “I can be your angel or i can be your devil” and no one understands how... Grades are average and he’s plenty capable, most of his time is spent working after school because his parents refuse to provide Vincent with any artistic materials (canvas, paints, etc). They ask him to go to parties more, but he only goes to piss his parents off (he’s v lowkey punk and it’s understandably sexy of him). Will literally only listen to Vincent, and got in a looooot of trouble after getting into a fistfight with Shakespeare. Only stopped because his parents blamed Vincent for the incident, and Vincent apologized and went quiet for days ;-;

Vincent. Always been quiet and shy, but he doesn’t dislike ppl--he just has a hard time speaking up now and again. His parents always talk over him and tell him nothing he has to say has any real value, so he tends to struggle with a lot of self-doubt. Not isolated because he’s not likeable, it’s more because people tend to take advantage of his mild and earnest nature--until Theo runs them off. He’s on amiable terms with most people but has no real, true friends and it makes him feel lonely a lot. Mostly copes with the emotional turmoil by painting as much as he can. His grades are average, he does reliably well but can often be found daydreaming or distracted. Theo tends to escort him everywhere because of his propensity to attract danger (namely Shakespeare) or walk into things cuz he’s in his head a lot. A few of the artsier girls and the quiet academic girls have HUGE crushes on him (he’s softspoken, sweet, and calm; come on now), but he’s so distant--and honestly nice to everyone in equal measure--that they don’t have much hope of it coming to fruition. This kid deadass doesn’t think a single girl would ever like him that way so he’s just c:???????? when Theo talks about “those nosy harpies coming after my brother”

Jeanne. EDGY MCEDGE. Isn’t amazing in the academic department, but he’s a killer fencer--the rallying cry of the entire team. He became leader his sophomore year and he’s pretty much the only reason they keep destroying at tournaments throughout the year. Despite the pervasive interest in him he intimidates most people away with his swift intensity and ironclad stoicism. Silent as a grave and very still, people are convinced he’s the Grim Reaper reincarnated (listen he’s juST A DUTIFUL BABIE N O). If he isn’t fencing or practicing, Isaac often offers him help in the library after school hours in one of the study rooms (can’t be seen who’s inside from the outside). The two develop a kind of uncanny bond; they’re both so...bad at human-ing that they find a lot of comfort in the atmosphere they create. There’s none of the bullshit grandstanding or clout obsession, just them genuinely trying to help each other (yes Jeanne absolutely teaches Isaac self-defense moves in order to crush the kids that pick on him, and Jeanne often either glares or outright threatens those students when Isaac isn’t looking). Only ever smiles or feels understood when he’s hanging out with Mozart, so he cherishes the time Mozart offers him to hang (he knows the kid is busy up to his eyeballs and under a ton of pressure by comparison, his parents don’t care much as long as they can brag about his fencing records)

Isaac. Mega nerd that just...does not know how to interact. Only understands math and DESTROYS in competitive math club, but otherwise is always alone at lunch or just in the library. A little bean pole because he doesn’t look after himself very well (neglects to eat a lot) and can sometimes be found asleep on his books. If approached he will be very thorny, doesn’t have any friends to speak of and trusts everyone about as far as he can throw them. Yells at Arthur and Dazai a lot when they flock around him, and has gotten into his fair share of fights. Never starts fights, but will finish them. People are surprised he can hold his own, and he comes away with blood that ain’t his. There are a few girls that are curious about him, but its mostly the ones that have seen his awkward thoughtfulness in club--or the girls that are sick of the assholes and appreciate how stalwart he is. He really just wants to be left in peace (his parents never show up to his meets or when he wins academic awards, and the few teachers that notice are pretty concerned abt his reactivity and complete lack of social savvy...) Leonardo always helps him sneak in at night to look at the stars on the school roof

Shakespeare is p much the like “kid most anticipated to be in jail as soon as they’re out of high school” He just. Has that like...serial killer vibe??? Idk if I’m explaining this well but he was that guy that would always cling to genuinely compassionate girls just trying to be nice like a LEECH, and would never fucking shut up if he did or didn’t get attention. You just can't win with this kid. Probably wanted to kill the kids that made fun of him or at the very least wanted to lash out against the confident/popular/nice kids. Only liked you if he didn’t deem you a threat, or if you didn’t make him insecure, or if you tolerated him (aka Vincent. Vincent PLEASE stop trying to reach out to dangerous ppl....I love you too much to watch this shit...) He admitted as much to Theo and the kid went livid with rage and pummeled him into the ground, though most of the rest of the student body doesn’t know quite what happened. (Theo refuses to explain to anyone, and just walks away if asked). Shakespeare will just change the subject endlessly and make passive aggressive threats until the person leaves if they try to bring it up. The only time the entire class has EVER seen Leonardo mad is when Shakespeare kept tailing this girl that wanted no part of him

Sebastian. Nerdy like Isaac, but is more of the silent observer type. Like Theo, doesn't want any part of the bullshit but won't be as blunt or outspoken about it, he's only open about it if pressed or pissed off. Doesn't have much patience for the clique-driven nature of high school and tends to take an interest in the people who stand out beyond the mind-numbing drama. Also is in the top fifty but studies like a lunatic, and can often be seen asking Comte for tips now and again. Has tried talking to Mozart and admires his talents, but Mozart gives a cold shoulder that would put Antarctica to shame. (Leonardo tries to ninja him into taking breaks but never succeeds). Has a great deal of disdain for the troublemakers (Arthur and Dazai) but doesn't intervene, just watches shit go down and sighs. Probably the most normal(?) one of the bunch, just does his best and keeps his head down

He likes small animals but not your usual small animals. (The way he kicked uri out in the future instead of letting the cat stay 😭) I.e he’d pick a sugar glider over a guinea pig

He hates crowds because he still hates the fact that when he was still learning to be sociable kids had the power of alienating him. He despises that group mindset that children had. In kindergarten some kids invited him to play then told him to get lost and nobody stood up for him. He has one intrusive thought and it’s that feeling. He genuinely hates crowds because it feels like an opportunity for people to get to decide who isn’t welcomed. He lowkey doesn’t want to witness that moment to happen to anyone else.

His overthinking only stops when he’s alone so he genuinely does prefer it. He doesn’t mind one or two people in an intimate setting but when it’s more he wants to disconnect.

He’s all about repaying debts quickly I think he takes this on an emotional level too so he feels if you get too close or kind he has to return that by being transparent as well and he knows he’s bad at it so he just stops you altogether by not letting you even create that environment around him. I.e in the future he’s fine in the hospital room then more people come and he warns Tsuna then beats his ass because it was getting too emotional seeing ppl visit chrome when he just wanted to check on her from afar and not hear everyone’s emotions.

He takes pictures of random things , like a leaf with water droplets, clouds from Nami middles roof , his sneakers when he’s walking. They’re not amazing but he just always does it and never shares. It’s kind of grunge but unintentionally.

He has a knack for throw blankets. He has one in every room they’re mostly black white or purple no designs except for the ones from his grandparents.

If you have ever watched Saiki k I think he has the exact same relationship with his parents. If you haven’t : he’s serious and reserved and willingly antisocial but not because of trauma and his parents are so normal and caring it’s funny in contrast. But they’re a tad bit more refined than saikis.

He was partly raised by his grandparents when he was much younger and that’s why he really loves tradition and order while his parents are hardly as strict.

His grandfather was probably a vet who joined solely to protect Namimori . Hibari has that same love for the town because of him but like his grandfather he’s in no way patriotic. They both just love this town He thinks of his grandfather when he thinks of Namimori and because he is gone now he latches on to the town even more.

His grandfather is Fon. Hear me out. Fon could have been around 40 when he was cursed , could’ve had a son young (18) but it was fine because he was a very well respected champion. The Hibaris had money and as long as he was a positive image in his career field they wouldn’t mind what he did although their lineage is that of leaders and scholars. He stopped for a bit to go into the army and when he came back he stumbles upon the mafia . His son grows up to also have a kid young Fon and his wife watch after Hibari until he’s around 7 while his son and daughter in law work extremely hard to get established in their career paths. They come back and one day Fon just vanished bc he’s cursed and hibaris dad knows he was in the mafia so he just doesn’t dwell on what might have happened but doesn’t share because he didn’t want to pain him as a bad guy to his son but they’re all pretty upset about it.

Fon taught hibari how to fight , that’s why he has his grandfathers disposition and tenacity although it’s a tad immature in comparison. Fon tells him his style will be what he picks and hibari randomly picks tonfas as his weapon. Fon has it in his house because although he uses no weapons he’s fond of their history. Fon gets him a pair of silver ones.

He’s not the brightest, he’s not as terrible as Tsuna and Yamamoto but he’s average academically. He’s not interested in excelling academically and getting a painfully respectable job like doctor lawyer or something in business. And I think his air of nonchalant attitude can only come from a trust fund kid who’s parents don’t expect them to be their carbon copy.

He literally gets himself held back just to stick around a middle school he likes and nobody objects or is worried about his future. It’s definitely secured.

He really doesn’t care about the disciplinary committee members because he didn’t mean to form it. Students have a love hate relationship with him. He was just some scary strong guy who happened to beat up the right people who were pests and they thought he did it for the good of everyone. But they realized too late that it’s really just who irritates him and that sometimes coincides with their best interest so they let it be because he’s a comforting and unsettling presence to have. Like even Tsuna acknowledges this despite being terrified of him most the time he’s always like “wait Hibari will handle it”

He likes that he has disciples because it’s a crowd he’s apart of and is the center of but doesn’t have to be too close and nobody can kick him out or make him feel unwanted.

His parents actually like that he’s respected (oblivious to the fear) as the leader of this club around town because their family is known for strong leadership and he’s applied it to what he wanted.

He likes hamburger steak because when his parents came back his mom liked to test American recipes once she moved back to Japan. This was the only one he really liked enough to ask for again

He can’t cook. At all. Hopeless. Would burn water.

He would kill you for a well made dessert. They put him in a good mood but he’s a weirdo that doesn’t like rewarding himself so it has to be a gift or offered.

He actually likes band t shirts ripped jeans boots and all of that but hardly wears it out because he finds he likes being in his uniform more.

He’s a good boxer because everyone seems to forget he won a BOXING match for royhei. Hello he couldn’t use tonfas he actually had to punch ppl. Yeah he’s strong but that’s a style of fighting he definitely learned from Fon.

He jogs on a private trail around his families property, sometimes his father joins him.

His parents know him really well. He’s not a difficult kid to them. they’re the only ones he answers to but even then they raised him to be independent so they’re not that authoritative over him.

He has a hard time listening to them because he thinks they leave him to govern himself too much and shouldn’t only get a say sometimes.

They feel bad about leaving him to his grandparents for so long but his mother says she’ll never regret making sure their lives were better for him.

They have a good relationship give or take a few problems stemming from their separation from him.

He can draw really well. I don’t know why. But he just does. He does it often on random papers his only collection being a small box his mother keeps of them. He hates when she saves them.

He’s the baby of his entire family but his father is on the higher end of his family and same with his mother for hers so everyone is always asking to see him but he refuses to leave Namimori for longer than a day or two.

He has a sister. Idk. I just feel he has a sibling that’s either way older or a toddler that spends time on trips with their mother because she doesn’t have school yet.

He watches horror movies with his parents a lot. But they have to be psychological thrillers and he always has to fight his dad with his mom on what everything meant.

He’s spoiled. He’s nonchalant about everything but when it comes down to it he is a trust fund baby who would have been sent to a nice private high school abroad.

He has been arrested but his father being his father makes an arrangement with the police force in Nami where he’s just his own independent junior division. It would explain why the people in his committee look significantly older than him sometimes😭.

Tetsyua has always been the only member who’s name he learned because he doesn’t disappoint him. He is to him what Shoichi was to Byakuran , competent in other areas and capable of surprising him. And he never made Hibari feel like he had to say anything to him for that hibari considers him to be a good friend.

Tetsu and Ryohei are the only people he finds familiar and respectable enough to converse with like a normal fucking teenager 😭.

Royhei is loud but he doesn’t mind him because the boy is ALWAYS alone training. And like him he doesn’t backdown from a fight , also he causes no trouble at school.

He hangs out with him more than you’d think but he never initiates it or stops it.

Hibari lets Royhei use his private trail to jog sometimes. His parents know the sasagawa kids well because of this, they get invited to dinner a lot.

He likes kyoko better because she’s like a quieter Royhei but just as kind and determined. He tries to be nice to her by greeting her from them to time but stops because she popular and it draws attention and annoying rumors.

She says he really hates crowds and understands how nosy people in their grade are and says it’s okay if he doesn’t wave back sometimes. She assumes he’s actually extremely shy and misunderstood. (Sis he’s just a delinquent)

It’s platonic but he actually fond of her and is nice to her and they text from time to time. She’s the only one who knows to give him sweets because they talk about them.

He tries to get revenge on Mukuro for making him associate something he actually liked enough to go view (Sakura) with humiliation and anger that he tries to return the favor. The bastard loves nothing that much so he’s still thinking.

His parents think some girl broke up with him at a Sakura filled place and that’s why he suddenly hates it. He won’t explain they’re wrong because it’s better than the real story.

He’s a history buff , but a world history buff not just Japan.

He has an admirable garden that he tends to and sells half the vegetables his chef only cooks for three and doesn’t need that many.

He likes the snow he thinks it’s calming when everyone stays home in their house while outside is cold and harsh but pretty. He makes his parents special hot chocolate on days like that. They let him drink hot wine sometimes but only a sip or two.

He’s bilingual because his parents taught him Italian when he was younger after they had come back. They also taught him a little English.

He watches a lot of American media and listens to their music as well.

On his birthday he never goes out because it’s a holiday and more people are out than usual so his family has a dinner for him and get him gifts.

His mother gives more thoughtful gifts that he appreciates later while his father indulges him and gets him stuff like a popular manga series or a meeting to upgrade his tonfas again or clothing he really likes.

(Sorry to any and all who get tagged out of nowhere. It's just a small writing rant on the woes of being a fanfic writer, soooo)

So, after talking to a few people, I found out that the anon hate got so bad that they were going to other blogs and saying she was writing smut for minors 🙄. I've been warily avoiding publicly talking about all the recent crap fandom writers have been getting, but I have to come out about it some time.

So, we all know about how Sav was getting crap because someone narrowly decided to try to make it out that she was talking shit about a set of fic writers that are all close (very popular ones might I add) and I'm going to just go ahead and come out and say that it was me talking about them, but not in the way you may think. @savnofilter has constantly been worried about @lady-bakuhoe @katsukisprincess and @burnedbyshoto and the constant ordeal of people coming to them for clout. If anything, she was just voicing her concerns for them and I was the one mainly complaining about the fandom only appreciating characters and concepts for a certain amount of time (to the point where other people who don't write anything that fits those guidelines are unable to get their work out there). The only reason Sav received hate for it was because everything was practically spun out of context and it's Sav's discord server. She then proceeded to take it and then tried talking things out with certain people so that there was no misunderstanding.

With Cuter-than-a-corgy-butt, she was new to writing smut and just wanted to get her work out there. She, like any other person just starting out, used tags she felt were appropriate to get her stuff out there. I'll admit, I barely knew her. I knew of her content and her blog, but other than that, I never really interacted with her. I did see her name in passing with people receiving terrible anon hate, but I had wrongly assumed things had simmered down only to find out today that she deleted her blog due to all of the anon harassment she received. It got so bad that anons were going to other people's blogs and saying she wrote smut for minors when she was aging the characters up. No one's even been able to get in contact with her and all we can really do is hope that she's feeling better, hope that she's fine.

Spice has been receiving similar treatment about tags to the point where there are times she's really discouraged to even continue with certain ideas.

I'm sorry that this answer is becoming what it is (and this is my second time going off in the fanfiction reader part of the community), but it needs to be said. WE WRITE THIS STUFF FOR FREE OUT OF OUR SPARE TIME FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT. INSTEAD OF SHITTING ON WRITERS FOR DUMB SHIT, HOW ABOUT YOU: FILTER YOUR TAGS, UNFOLLOW CERTAIN ACCOUNTS, BLOCK CERTAIN ACCOUNTS, OR REBLOG THE CONTENT YOU ACTUALLY ENJOY SO THAT TUMBLR CAN APPEASE YOUR TASTES BY PRESENTING SAID THINGS TO YOU. Yes, it's a tedious thing to do, but most of people's issues with this site would be fixed if you did all of that. It's bad enough that we have terrible like to reblog ratios in comparison to other parts of fandoms and quite a couple of us writers have left because of shit like this (i.e Coco and Cho and Corgy). The least you can do is make things easier for us is supporting the content creators you enjoy by reblogging, sending in nice messages to our inboxes or private messages, liking the posts you enjoy, or just spouting off about one of your favorite fics.

And one more thing because this is also a problem within the fandom: Just bc a set of writers appear to have beef with one another or some form of an issue doesn't mean you need to be a "White Knight" and take it upon yourself to deal with the issue by sending anon hate. Like, if you're gonna send hate regardless, do it off anon, you pusillanimous. Either way, 9 times out of 10, you have no idea what the situation between them is. Even if one person tells you to go crap on the other, have common sense and don't. The internet is dangerous and crappy and toxic enough without your extra two cents. If you want to tell a creator you saw someone talking about them in what you may assume is ill-manner, don't do it where everyone and their mother, brother, and sister can see. There are private messages for a reason.

And last, but certainly not least, send your favorite content creators the love and appreciation they deserve. Tell them what you like about them, ask them about their day, send them numerous hearts in their inbox, something! It means a lot more than you think.

Albion: The Legend of Arthur (Part I of XIII)

As promised, I’m starting the Audible series Albion: The Legend of Arthur. I actually don’t hate it so far! (I don’t usually have high expectations for Arthurian adaptations, but for now I’ve decided to not worry and just enjoy the ride.) Nobody asked for this, but I’m going to write up some recaps, mostly because I could find so little information on the series when I was considering trying it. And also so people who can’t get Audible can get a sense of the story. I guess we’ll see how this goes.

Note: I really wish I had a cast/character list to look at, because my spellings of the Welsh names are going to be some very shoddy guesswork.

So. Part I: Last of the Romans

It starts with a war, naturally.

First, some characters:

Arthur Pendraig is the nephew of Ambrosius Aurelianus (aka Emrys), who currently leads the Britons as one of the last Romans in the land. This take on Arthur seems to be an accomplished but hot-headed warrior who wields power through both charisma and intimidation, and is admittedly a bit of an ass.

Arthur and Owain of Rheged are Ambrosius’ best generals, and they are accomplished young warriors and close friends. For the record, they are not related in this adaptation. My impression of Owain so far is that he seems like a rather nice young man and a consistent voice of reason (and as such, I believe he is doomed).

Gwenhwyvar is an ally of Arthur’s family, skilled in leadership and battle, and a singularly powerful woman. My impression of her so far is that she’s fierce, capable, pragmatic, and very, very clever.

Medraut is Arthur’s cousin and former childhood friend/longtime companion. Arthur has grown to hate him for his betrayal to him and his allies, as Medraut believes himself to be the rightful ruler of Britain.

Anna is the daughter of Lewdwn of Gododdin. She was formerly romantically involved with Arthur, and is implied to have been involved with Medraut as well.

There’s a character whose name I am not sure of, but it kinda sounds like Cynon so that’s what I’m gonna call him. He’s Arthur’s cousin, his father Ambrosius has made it pretty clear that Arthur’s the son he always wanted (and most likely his eventual successor), and Cynon is understandably rather jealous and resentful towards Arthur.

It all starts with a battle scene, in the northern stronghold of Gododdin. Medraut wants to defeat Ambrosius and be made king, as he sees himself as the true ruler. He had stolen the Kingstone, a seemingly unremarkable stone that is used for forging swords and is seen as a symbol of rightful rule. Medraut stole it in the hopes of giving legitimacy to his blood claim. Arthur and Owain retrieve it and win the battle, but all are quick to acknowledge that Ambrosius’ victory in Goddodin would not have been possible without the aid of Gwenhwyvar and her forces. Goddodin had allied with Medraut, but when they were defeated by Ambrosius and Arthur’s forces, Medraut fled, while Anna and Lewdwn stayed for their people.

To show his gratitude, Ambrosius offers his two champions whatever they wish as a boon. Owain requests leave to return to his father’s lands (specifically to see his mother, which I’m hoping means we get to see Morgan sooner or later); Arthur only asks that he has permission to go after Medraut and take his vengeance, and Ambrosius says he shall have it.

Arthur and Ambrosius talk alone. Ambrosius talks about how Arthur has won the loyalty of his men and is popular with the people, and how Ambrosius’ hope is that if they make peace with Lewdwn, they can unite all the Britons under one banner and successfully defend themselves from the Saxons. He ends by saying, “The world is ours. Remember that.”

Then Arthur and Anna have a talk.

They knew each other in better times, “when they were little more than children,” and they have both since become jaded by their experiences in war. Anna loathes Ambrosius bc he killed her brother. Her father has made peace to keep his political allies, but she cannot.

Arthur brings up the possibility of a marriage between the two of them; he supports the idea, and thinks they’d be a good match, but Anna’s certain that things will never go back to how they used to be, and she dislikes the idea of a political marriage that would allow Ambrosius to keep his grip on her family’s lands in the north. She also lashes out and claims there are rumors of Arthur of being “more Greek than Roman” and romantically involved with Owain.

We learn that Anna’s father was baptized in the hopes of bringing Gododdin “into the light of a new age,” but Anna is implied to still hold onto her old faith. She says she hates what the powerful have done to her people, deciding all their futures and playing their bloody games. She tries to convince Arthur to take a stand alongside her and use his popular support to give power to the people, as Ambrosius has an insatiable desire for more power and has already caused too many deaths, but Arthur rejects the idea. She criticizes his grudge against Medraut, saying that their childhood rivalry has dragged the lands to the brink.

I have a feeling Anna is not surviving this story.

Owain and Gwenhwyvar meet up. Gwen doesn’t get to participate in peace talks bc she’s a woman; when Owain wonders why a woman as powerful as her has to accept those rules, she replies that she doesn’t like it but she abides by it, and she finds that it’s easier to exercise power unseen, anyway. She asks why he lets Arthur take all the credit for their victory, and he carefully deflects and says that there is no victory until the civil wars are completely behind them.

With all the lords/generals gathered, Lewdwn of Gododdin is honored for keeping the Christian faith and for agreeing to join the alliance in Britain. Since Medraut left Lewdwn to take the blame as he fled, he accepts Medraut as his enemy, swears loyalty to Ambrosius and his lands, and peace is made.

However, Anna interrupts and furiously demands that her father not accept, bc the Britons should not accept a ruler that leaves them cowed by threats of force. She refuses to be silenced, and calls her father a coward. Owain tries to intervene to persuade her to stop, but Arthur refuses to do the same. Ambrosius asks Anna to renounce her past treacheries to spare herself, but she refuses, spits on him, and is struck by him. Ambrosius declares that he will give her a day to consider his offer of mercy, or she will be put to death for treachery. She is then taken away and imprisoned in a cell. Arthur, Owain and Gwenhwyvar are worried, but Gwen tells them to keep quiet, and says there may yet be a way to save her.

The episode is bookended by an old, mad beggar man talking to us, the audience; I think we’re all genre-savvy enough to know he’s Merlin. He spouts a bunch of dire warnings, bad omens abound, and he predicts that a dragon will enter the fray, there will be many more terrible wars to come, and basically everyone will die.

Chapter 1/10 of It’s A Handheld Disaster

Word Count: 3118

Fic Summary: Teenage life is hard enough, but with the added weight of their lives, both Simon and Baz thrive online in a fandom for the British crime show, Gastrell, about the genius Huxley and his "flatmate" Sam. Through Tumblr, they find each other, and sink into something more than just being mutuals.

Chapter Summary: A shitpost is taken a little too personally, and an argument breaks out. In true Baz fashion, he seeks to prove himself right in the most ridiculous way possible.

BAZ

Morning routines are the most menial shit in the realm of existence of arbitrary tasks.

Everyone seems to have them, yet nobody really has a set one. For example, my step-mum has a long, seemingly pointless hour of simply facial cleansers, serums, and hair products. When I’d asked her years ago why she does it all, she shook her head and said “You’ll never be an aging woman, Basilton.”

I couldn’t quite argue with that.

Regardless, it’s a part of life. The routines. Wake up, morning routine, morning activity, eat, afternoon activity, usually afternoon snack, evening activity, dinner, night-time activity, sleep.

A boring, underwhelming cycle of the day.

Although, I suppose it’s shittier for me, since the homeschooling doesn’t give me a chance to do much besides sit and read. Of course, I have my car and I can drive off to whatever. Hell, father even suggested I get a job to occupy myself, but I don’t quite see the point given how much money we have (and the risk factors with moving around so frequently).

So, here I am. Finishing my classes in a matter of months, then having an entire year of pointless bullshit.

Needless to say, my entire day’s routine isn’t the most thrilling. Wake up at 10 on a good day, check social media and emails, then just lay here until I can’t wait to piss. Piss. Go to eat breakfast and get greeted by screaming children and my poor step-mum trying to wrangle them in. Go upstairs, go back online, see whatever’s on my dash, reblog some shit, then try to do something vaguely productive. Check Archive, check email again. Nothing’s on the emails, ever. Text Dev and Niall, who get awfully pissed since they are in school. Get more food. Eat. Bring tea upstairs, despite the disdained look from our maid (who hates collecting my piles of mugs). Write for a couple hours. Take an afternoon nap, if I please. Wake up and sit there (again). Maybe lonely wank. Go back to the bathroom, stare at myself in the mirror for a good few minutes. Sit on the toilet for half an hour for no reason besides the fact that my phone seems more interesting while sitting there as compared to sitting in bed. Sit then on the bathroom floor doing the same thing. Go back to my bed, listen to music on my phone and work on my laptop. Write, maybe scroll. Get dinner brought to me as they tut that I should be more active. Eat. Go downstairs for an evening workout (they’re right, I shouldn’t confine myself to my bed). Come back, do exactly what I do for half the day until I pass out somewhere around 3 am. Repeat.

Dream life for an 17 year old. Social life of a god.

Somewhat.

It’s shit to say (and sort of embarrassing to share) that there’s sort of a social media presence around me. Not quite the Instagram model bullshit, but based around fan life.

Yes, it’s a laughing stock. That’s where my popularity lies--a mixed grab-bag of various ages gathering around various platforms to enthuse about certain topics. And I’m somehow lucky enough to have the slightest bit of popularity here.

As in, a large following. A large, somehow active following.

It isn’t exactly thrilling as one would like to think. Sure, it’s fun to see a scattered group of regulars pop up, and I have my mutuals, but it’s a sad existence to sit around and make various shitposts with nothing better to occupy my mind. Or, at least, that’s what Dev and Niall tell me.

All in all, I blame Fiona. She’s the one who got me into the show, saying she thought the character was a bit like me. After I saw it, I found the three connections she’d grasped at.

Gay, dark-haired, and violinist.

As if that’s a rarity.

Yet, surely enough, I did love it. The cinematography, the characters, the storyline. It was intriguing--captivating.

It doesn’t hurt that the online community was still on the smaller side when I first got there. The show was only a season in when I made my blog, and I’ve stuck through all this bullshit to get me here. One of the regulars. Reposted everywhere, uncredited usually. Big fics, large interactions. Shitposts with thousands upon thousands of notes. I’m recognizable; a suggested name.

Don’t get me wrong, the attention is spectacular. I love interacting with people beyond this depressing household, and they’re usually fairly nice (usually) (except those ravenous for an argument). It’s just awkward to share at times when people ask why your mobile’s got 99+ symbols next to the apps and you just shrug and say “I’m shit at checking it” to avoid the conversation because most people see it as childish.

It’s a shame, really. Especially since I feel emotionally attached to these goddamn fictional fuckers.

I suppose that’s what makes it all the more personal, then. Even the shitposts mean something to me.

Which is what makes this is a long, winded way of saying fuck whoever’s arguing with me about whether or not Huxley is a fucking Ravenclaw. (He is. Hands down.) How’d I get here, staring at my mobile in disbelief at a brief back and forth post turned fight? Because it feels like a reasonable question to wonder.

I got here because, as almost all mornings, I woke up, opened my phone, read my notifs, then sat here, thinking of something. Anything. Then, in a tired haze, typed out a single text post on tumblr.

Following so, I went about my typical morning. Of course. Then--then--I check my phone as I’m going downstairs and I see it. I see the “@bi-sammy mentioned you in a post!” notif, then read the God-forsaken reblog.

I frowned at my phone, typing out a quick response before tucking it back into my pocket.

What I hadn’t anticipated, though, was the reply I’d open up to soon after I’d started poking at my morning meal.

Now I sit, staring and completely awestruck at such a post. Now, I won’t deny Bryonie Gastrell is definitely, in all possible ways, a Slytherin. Cunning and ambitious as fuck, as any political spy may be, but fuck anyone who tries to dismiss Huxley’s clear Ravenclaw leanings.

It takes me a moment to fully process, mouth robotically chewing my eggs as I contemplate my answer.

@bi-sammy there is absolutely no proof of huxley being a slytherin and more than enough support towards him being a ravenclaw. get your clueless negativity off my blog, you utter tit.

With that, I settle my phone face down onto my table and try to enjoy my lovely plate of scrambled eggs, barely ignoring the boiling of my blood.

My phone lights up with the new notification, dragging my attention away from my laptop as the words slide down onto the screen. “@gaystrell mentioned you in a post!” I hate to admit that I get a little pattering in my heart, urging my hand out to grasp the mobile as I pause the Youtube video currently playing. As I read his words, I slowly blink out of my excitement.

Tit. He called me a bloody tit.

Of course this fucking wanker called me a tit.

He must think that since he’s this big bad blogger, he can call me a tit right out in the open. (Although, he is talking to me, so that’s a plus) (No! No no no, bad validation, Simon. Bad). What, with his thousands of followers and fans of his own, he thinks he can try to say shit out in the open?

Fuck it. He’s either getting a DM or a bloody fist fight from me. I’ll take a train to wherever the fuck he lives (which is somewhere in England, since that’s what his bio says) (and his aunt lives in London, since he’s posted about visiting her) (I really do wonder where he’s from and how close he might be--what if I run into him one day?) (No wait fuck I don’t want that anymore).

Clicking on his blog, the little person drop down gives me the option of a message. I barely think as I type it out, vision going spotty from the adrenaline of the twinging anger.

At first, I grin at it, watching my lone message appear into the empty chat. It’s so freeing--so powerful to send it. I pride myself, in the moment, for this solid move of communication. Of course I’m fucking proud. I messaged the arse myself and gave him a space to fight.

Maybe Penny’s right, I should dial down the confrontation, but it’s just the internet. Nothing important happens through a stupid little argument over Huxley’s true Hogwarts house (although, I’m sure I know I’m right in my heart), but it is a bit of fun to fuck around with someone. It’s a distraction. And that’s why I’m here, afterall. To have a distraction.

Penny thinks it’s a bit silly, but she doesn’t really complain. All she’s ever said was “I thought we left fandom stuff behind us when we were 14.” She said it over lunch, watching me scroll through my at-the-time new tumblr.

It’s funny, I thought I did leave it behind when I was younger. It seemed unneeded as life shifted. I’d just found a stable foster home, with someone who was going to keep me for a while. I found Penny a couple months before I deactivated my old account. I was happy; we were free. I didn’t need a venting place.

Shits been sort of hitting the fan recently, though. No uni plans, David’s been getting more controlling, and of course, Agatha dumping me. It all crashed on top of me a few months ago, and somehow, the only place that I could find healthy coping was online. So, I started fresh. Made a blog and settled in. It’s not big, but I’ve had a few posts get noticed. I have a good few hundred followers, and one nice anon who asks me how I am every few weeks. It’s not a lot, but it’s comforting.

I feel at home here, even with a little discourse.

Well, only when the discourse is answered. Which, in this situation, I don’t know if it will be, given it’s been over an hour now and Baz hasn’t answered.

If that’s even his name.

It’s what his bio says, at least.

I’ve wondered for a while what Baz stands for. He refuses to answer it in asks; he always says it’s too personal. He’s sort of odd like that--never posts pictures of anything that could be linked back. Seems sort of creepy, but then again, a lot of people follow him. It’s reasonable to want space.

Maybe that’s why he’s not answering. He probably wants space of some sort, but it’d be at least decent to answer someone who tried to have a discussion (that’s at least what I’m calling that message I sent--a discussion starter).

I frown at my phone, keeping it on silent as I slide it into my front pocket and settle into my seat in maths. I’ll say it--I sulk in class, a little bitter that I don’t have his attention (despite the fact that he seems like he’s always active online, which seems odd). Eventually, I exhale and try to let it slip away. There went my one interaction with him. My few seconds of the weirdest fucking bliss online, gone.

Then, it happens. As the class is ending, I pull out my screen just enough to see and there it is. A clear notification telling me he’d answered. Oddly enough, it’s just him sending me a link to a Google Doc.

Weird.

I ignore it for the moment being, letting myself ride the wave of relaxation that I actually got a reply. It passes my mind until I’m sitting in the back of Agatha’s car, listening to Penny and Aggie in the front talking about whatever’s on their mind. The rides are sort of awkward as of recently. At least Agatha agreed to drive me home (it’s a good 45 minute walk, if not) after some convincing from Penny, but her and I don’t really chat. It’s just the two of them.

Given that time, I have a chance to pull out my mobile and thumb through what was sent.

I click on it, not expecting that much (or, really, not expecting anything at all). Yet, the second it pops up and loads, my jaw drops.

“Jesus fuck,” I say aloud, scrolling through it. Penny turns her head, frowning as I stay locked on my screen.

“What? What’s wrong?”

“No--no nothing,” I say, waving a hand. “It’s nothing.”

“It’s got to be something for that reaction,” she says, keeping turned in her seat as she eyes me up. “Just tell us, Si.”

“I mean it when I say it’s nothing.” My voice gets quieter as I shift, reading the title. “It’s just fandom stuff. It’s really nothing.”

I hear her disgruntled huff as she turns back, mumbling something about me reacting too dramatically to this. “It isn’t even real.” It’s said under her breath, yet it still rings clear in my ears.

It isn’t really fake, either.

Hell, this is six pages of real. “Why Huxley Gastrell is, Without a Doubt, a Ravenclaw”. Shared by Basilton Pitch (is that his actual name?!). Fucking hell, it’s detailed to no ends. You’d think, with this much writing, there’d be pages of pointless filler where he’d just type “im gay hi huxley is also a gay we’re all gay here aren’t we”, but no. It’s full, grammatically correct sentences detailing his points.

It’s a bit much to read in the car, so I settle my mobile face down onto the seat as I’m left reeling. That… was a bit more than I’d expected.

Shit, did he write that for me?

This isn’t real. This can’t be real.

Whoever says that having a flair for the dramatics is pointless has clearly never met me, because I wouldn’t quite call this masterpiece of an essay “pointless”. In fact, I should send it to academics. Rename it “A Study In Multi-Dimensional Characters and their Associated Generalized Personality Traits”. I’ll be hailed as a genius, as I deserve to be.

I crack my knuckles, and see the little person pop up.

Surely enough, it’s @bi-sammy’s name that he has listed online, Simon. It’s curious, he has his last name listed as “Snow”. Although, the smallest part of me believes it’s a pseudonym. Given our interactions, I doubt he’s clever enough to think of a solid pseudonym. And, even at that, why pick Snow?

Either way, it’s surprisingly endearing. Simon Snow. Sounds sweet. Sounds innocent.

I watch his cursor turn on, then his icon goes grey after a few moments. My heart starts to trip, making my cheeks begin to flush. Is… he ignoring this?

No. He can’t be. I put in hard work and dedication into this work, and I deserve the respect I’d sent into it. Fucking hell, three fully developed points (his devotion to intellectual work, his effort to step out of public light for Sam’s sake, and his overall lack of ambition for moving forward). I clearly set it out, and ended it properly; I’d proven that Huxley is a Ravenclaw. Case and point, opinion made, the end.

And, here I sit, watching him have the audacity to open it up then close it back. That was my hard work put in there, and he closes it? Who in the name of all that is sacred thinks he’s that above other people to the point where he just ignores--

Oh. He’s back on. Nevermind.

He’s… probably a school student. It’s roughly the time that most classes end, I suppose.

I make a mental apology to him, despite having never ranted directly to him in the first place.

He stays active for a good bit; long enough to show he’s reading. I assume that he’d just close off and message me, but after minutes, I notice a little highlighted comment pop up on the last sentence.

Simon Snow i………. owe you every single possible apology

Each word makes me grin like I haven’t in a while. A wide, cheek-creasing grin. There’s something so sweet to that--so personal. It feels like a note passed to me in a classroom under the tables. Like a cute “Blink if you like me”, although I doubt he has quite an intention.

Nevertheless, it warms my chest, sending my head back as I smile. I’m not sure whether or not it’s the satisfaction of winning, or his words, but I laugh outwardly into the room. It stays with me, reverberating onto my skin and my throat.

I look back at the comment, then leave it untouched. If he won’t remove it, then I won’t either.

With a glance at our personal messages tab, I figure that’s that. Even field, no more argument. No more interaction. It’s a bit of a shame, given the effort I’d just extorted for his sake, that he hasn’t answered in our chat.

While I’m disappointed to close off the document, I smile at it one last time. Sometimes I have to move on from random people, especially when they come on a bit strong.

Except, I find, moments later that I’m wrong about one thing--the moving on. He didn’t just stop his interaction, but instead made a public post.

“@bi-sammy mentioned you in a post!”

This time, I really laugh. A full bellied, hand-covering-mouth laugh.

i guess i have to suck @gayhuxell’s cock now because i was wrong and the bloody arse was right. huxley is a ravenclaw.

✨My Unpopular K-Pop Opinions; (part 1 probably)

Y'all can come for me if you want, but these are my own personal opinions and I'm fully entitled to have them.

Disclaimer: I mean no hate or bad-will toward any of the groups mentioned here. These are my own opinions, but of course they are not the opinions of everyone and I'm fully aware of that. I acknowledge the success of all groups. Thank you.

>kpop bands are slept on way too much - at this point y'all are just hurting yourselves because you're missing out on some amazing groups and some top-quality music; day6, n.flying, the rose, lunafly, cnblue, ft.island, and so many others

>day6 has not put out a single bad song. this isn't even an opinion, it's a fact. if you don't stan them, i honestly don't know what you're doing with your life.

>hyuna and e'dawn have paved the way for other kpop artists to be openly in relationships. they made a huge sacrifice, don't think for a second that they didn't know how things would go down when they came out about being together; they made a sacrifice and now other idols will hopefully have the courage to do the same

>related to above point: hyuna and e'dawn are a total power couple. when they do join a new label or possibly form their own, they will be unstoppable and cube can choke

>jyp ent is the best of the big 3, and probably one of the best labels in general. as someone who stans groups/artists from pretty much every label there is, i have to say that jyp really impresses me. despite being a large label, they really care about their artists and let them have a lot of creative freedom.

>i don't like the fact that bts win every single award these days. (i already know i'll get hate for this) bts are a talented group, don't get me wrong, but i literally don't understand where all this attention has come from bc there are groups that have way better vocals, rappers, visuals, songs, etc. i have been an army since debut and ofc it's nice to see them do well, but we might as well just do away with award shows now since bts win everything every year anyway.

>loona's ot12 debut was disappointing. i love loona, have followed every single solo debut and unit, and i think their concept is so unique and interesting (props to blockberry) but i was expecting something more from their group debut. fav0rite was good, but hi high was a bit... i just felt it wasn't up to their usual standards so i hope 2019 will be a better year for loona

>chung ha is kinda boring. she has amazing facial expressions onstage and i know she's super talented, but it's the weirdest thing - i've never come across it before where someone with so much charisma manages to be so boring onstage at the same time. i'm sorry, i've really tried to like her, but i just find that her songs end up being kinda flat

>nine muses' gyeongree's solo debut was slept on. blue moon was a really great song with great presence and choreography, and it was basically the female equivalent of taemin's move, but y'all let that one flop.

>jennie has been lazy lately. i am a blink, i was jennie biased up until ddu-du ddu-du, and i have been a jennie fan since she joined yg years ago. but we can't deny the truth, for whatever reason, she hasn't been putting effort into her group performances lately. solo performances, she's been fine, it's just the group stages. my opinion: i think blackpink peaked too soon, they got too popular too quickly and now jennie doesn't feel as though she needs to put the effort in anymore bc people will support her anyway

>stellar deserved so much better, they cried for help so many times and tried to make changes in the industry so that girl groups wouldn't keep being exploited but people didn't listen, and instead chose to judge them for their sexy concepts (that they literally didn't want to do) and now the members have ptsd and struggle with their daily lives

>mental health still isn't being taken as seriously as it should be. after my sweet baby boy jonghyun left us, people were finally starting to pay attention to the importance of mental health, but i think it's starting to slip again now

>bam is the same as bboom bboom, and that's ok. momoland clearly found a genre that works for them, and given the success of bboom bboom, of course their company would try to cash in on a similar song. y'all have no problems when other groups release really similar songs, like gfriend (literally all of their songs sound the same to me) so why is everyone attacking momoland?

>imfact are some of the most talented idols, but they're not getting any recognition. literally, watch any of their live stages or listen to any of their covers or songs, including their solos they've been releasing lately, and try and tell me they don't deserve the world

>holland can sing. he has a unique voice that isn't very idol-like, but that doesn't mean he can't sing. yes a lot of his fanbase is there just because he's gay but if it'll help his career take off and if it means important conversations start being had in korea, then so be it.

>the way bighit handled jimin's t-shirt controversy wasn't good enough. they donated to korean victims of the atomic bombs but it wasn't the korean victims who were offended, and the t-shirt was clearly an anti-japan propaganda (and yes, i know how bad japan was during their occupation, they were evil and that is another issue in itself but that doesn't excuse the t-shirt)

>labelling a group member as 'visual' is kinda unnecessary bc they're all visually perfect and it puts added pressure onto the member given that title

>shinee are one of the greatest kpop groups of all time. yes, i am quite biased as i've been with them for 10 years now but i honestly never get bored of their music, personalities, tv shows, etc. they are such versatile artists and they have been through so much & deserve so much respect

>starship are doing boyfriend so dirty but nobody is paying attention so they're getting away with it. let them have a korean comeback you cowards.

>cube are never going to promote clc properly, and they will probably disband them soon. they have (g)i-dle now, the group who gives them everything clc unfortunately couldn't, so they have basically cast clc aside. we all saw what happened with la vie en rose.

>iz*one should have a different center. i have nothing against wonyoung she's so tiny and smol and young, but to me she is quite plain and she doesn't have that charisma that i've come to expect from produce groups. i didn't watch all of produce 48 so to begin with i didn't even realise wonyoung was the center, i legit thought it was sakura, i'm sorry

>taemin is one of the most talented idols. he is the best dancer in kpop right now, and not only that, he isn't afraid to experiment with different genres. his japanese music is stunning.

Okeyy this is very long but hear is the story:

So I had this friend/Best friend I will call her Sunny okey. So Sunny & I know each other 6 years now. In primary school I was more of a loner and she was one of the more popular kids but every time her “Best friends” hurt her I comforted her. So then after both of us entered the 7th grade we weren´t in the same class but we became really good friends/ Best friends since we had the same interest (Except Kpop - she hated it) & same humor. So the last years we were the best of the best friends & it was all perfect despite some normal problems but we never fought. It started last year in September when both of us didn´t really have enough time to meet up that we drifted a little apart but everything was still okey.

Okey so my school is a bilingual school, means that we have groups/classes that have all lessons only in our mother tongue (German) but their is also the bilingual part were the classes have half of their lessons in spanish. Me & Sunny are on the bilingual parte so when we end the High school we will have two diplomas the german and the spanish one.

So Sunny started to hang out more with some people from the non bilingual part & there wasn´t any problems I also have some friends that are in other classes but at some point Sunny started to ignore me. So we just started to ignore each other & that´s why I wrote a letter for her birthday that we should start to talk again. It ended up in her ignoring it. So the atmosphere was really tense & some other friends talked to her. Then she came to me one day and told me she thought I didn´t like her anymore since we didn´t talk. We both apologized to each other without any sense & everything was “Okey” but it wasn´t.

It started to get really hard for me. I´m one of the top students so I had a lot of stress with school & we didn´t really talk even though we apologized to each other. So I started to ask her if she has time, if we can do something together, how she´s doing and if everything is alright. She told me we can do something in the vacations since she is busy and I totally understood. Then she told me in the vacations her grandma from Mexico is here & she can´t meet up. I know her parents so I understood the situation. But it´s really hard to ask her if she has time, than she says now bcs of her grandma but on her Instagram story I see how she´s ice skating with other Friends. I felt so dumb from feeling hurt by this since this is so inmature but it feels so bad. We started to ignore each other again and again and I always forced myself to try to save this friendship but it was so hard since literally nothing came from her. UHHHH fuck I´m literally crying right now.

It´s just so hard beside of school. It just really hurts that I tried so hard to stay friends with her & to see that she didn´t even give a fuck about it. And I couldn´t even say how bad I felt. I´m always the happy one, the funny one who hypes everyone. But I´m so shy in reallife and it was just so not me to cry so I just acted like everything was alright and that it didn´t bother me.

I just got so tired of always being the one who gives her best to make everything work out but nobody else cares. Until a friend of mine told her she should talk to me. Obviously she came after some time, telling me that it was hard for her and she tried to distant herself from everyone obviously not everyone. So we talked and talked and then everything was okey again, besides no it wasn´t. We met up the weekend after this and it seemed so nice to talk again to her, we catched up I told her everything and wtf now she likes kpop, I thought wtf. After years of making fun of it she is the biggest kpop fan. Obviously only BTS is Kpop for her.

Okey now it´s getting fucked up. I have a girl in my class, lets call her Maddy. So Maddy didn´t really feel well since start of the new year and the Monday after I talked to Sunny she told me she wanted to talk to me. Maddy told me she´s pregnant. Fuck yeah more problems! The good thing is her parents support her & she thought about abortion but she looked at the pros and cons and now she´s going to keep it. So the father, lest call him Mike is super duper dumb. He started to ignore her and whilst they were still together he started to fuck with an 8th grader. A FUCKING 8TH GRADER. Also his parents told Maddy if she doesn´t abort they won´t support her. So Maddy was really hurt she wanted to stay together with him but it obviously didn´t work out so at some point she finally put everything together and broke up with him. There is much more drama of this but I wont explain all of this it´s just too much.

OKEY. So me & Sunny and some other friends knew about Maddys pregnancy. Maddy told us that she still needs some time before she tells it to our class and that´s obvious. One day two boys from my class, only I & Sunny have contact to them from those who knew about Maddys pregnancy came to me and told me that they know that Maddy is pregnant.

UHHH THIS IS SO DUMB. Literally the only person who was able to tell them was Sunny. It´s not only the fact that she told them about it, its also that she took Maddy the chance away to prepare for the whole class and school to know that she´s pregnant. Sunny took Maddy the chance away to tell everyone what´s happening when she´s ready.

So I went to her. And I tried so hard not to cry. I told Sunny. Please. Please just to save our friendship don´t lie to me. Don´t lie to me and tell me if you told them or if you didn´t. I won´t be angry but just please be honest.

She said she didn´t. Obviously. She asked me why I´m thinking this and I just told her I don´t know but I just wanted to ask her why she´s lying right into my face. Sunny told me she´s gonna talk to them so they won´t tell anyone else and a friend of mine heard her talking to one of them in the corridors. She yelled at him, asked him why he told me that he knew. It was so horrible, I started to cry silently in art class as she came back into class and she told me its okey. It wasn´t her and I can think what I want to.

I felt so fucking weak for not telling her that its her fault. So I just nodded and told her it´s okey. The next day a friend from the non bilingual part told me that a friend of Sunny told her that Maddy is pregnant. I just couldn´t understand. She is the only one who could have told her since nobody else except of her talks to this girl and why do you tell this someone who didn´t even talk once to Maddy. We went out in the last class, making photos in special art class and since I had the class with her I asked her if we could talk for a short moment.

I was so sick of everything. I´m always so good with friends but I can be very cold so I just asked her why she told it this one girl. She looked at me confused and I told her I´m tired of her lying to me. She started to cry asking me why I thought so about her. At some point she just walked away, crying. AND OBVIOUSLY EVERYTHING WAS MY FAULT. Everyone asked her, omg why are you crying, Sera about what did you talk. I´m always the bad one at the end just because once in my life I tell her how I fucking feel about her. THATS SO HILARIOUS. I try to solve this, I have so much stress and then I do even more jut to save our memories. And she did nothing, like I wouldn´t get hurt by this just because I don´t like to cry in front of everyone.

So, we started to ignore each other again. And the last week before our vacations I told her I want to talk to her after the class. I always think everything through but this was so spontaneously, I was shocked at myself for asking her. So after class we stood in the school corridor. School already ended for me but she still had one hour.

I have this habit to bite on my lip when I´m nervous and I started to bleed a little because I tried so hard not to cry. I finally started to talk. I asked her if it still makes sense to her. Our friendship. Because I feel so hurt fighting for this. I´m the only one trying, the only one who´s really hurt and I just can´t anymore. I started to cry so hard. Some other friends were there and they got really shocked since they´ve never seen me cry. Well, I told her that its just really hard and that literally nothing comes from her and that it´s okey. People drift apart I just never thought it would happen to each other. I told her that I don´t even know anymore if I´m fighting for her and our friendship or just because of our memories since we´ve been together through so much. At some point it was so hard to talk. I just cried so hard, and my under lip bled so much. I asked her if it wouldn´t be better if we stop being friends because its only hurting me and I don´t want to be selfish but I just can´t anymore. I don´t know why I thought she would say something like no. Im so naive. She just apologized silently. And I stopped talking. I wanted to scream at her, telling her that it´s all her fault and that she hurt me so bad. I wanted her to feel as bad as I did. But I didn´t. I felt so bad for thinking about hurting her. She just told me she has to go to her last class and I told her yeah I have to get going too. I just felt horrible but good because I finally didn´t have to worry about it. I got fast out of school, crying. A friend called me, asking me if everything is okey. I told her that I´m feeling better, I really did. She told me Sunny ran up to the bathroom and locked herself up crying. Well, I don´t even know what to do know.

I think its so funny that I´m so strong but then I´m so weak crying over something like this. I feel better now. It´s just hard. I met up with some friends in the park in the vacations and she was also there but just for a short minute before going away with some friends of her “because she didn´t feel well”. Turns out they just sat away just to not sit with us but texted one of my good friends she should come to them. THIS IS SO INMATURE. I extra told my friend no I don´t care if she´s with us. I´m okey now and it´s not like I hate her or anything. But then she acts like she doesn´t feel good just to go. UHHH THIS IS SO STUPID. I shouldn´t even care about this.

Well I´m doing good now. It´s just a lot but I´m feeling way better now. I forgot to ask you how your exam went

4 members (Jonghyun, Minki, Minhyun and Dongho) joined Produce 101 Season 2 in hopes of proving their skills and saving Nu’est

all four members made it to the finale but only Minhyun made it into the top11 (#9) and got to debut with wanna-one

other members ranked 13 (Dongho), 14 (Jonghyun) and 20 (Minki)

but they did not fail because they did prove themselves throughout the show and gained a lot of popularity internationally and nation-wide

My Biggest Fear

I apologize for the terrible grammar and general lack of attention to anything. I wrote this at like 1am crying. It’s that time of the month. *edit: I realized later that it wasn’t

I fear that if I don’t think hard about my responses to people that I’ll say too much or too little or something weird or something they don’t care about and then they’ll stop talking to me so maybe I overthink but if I just say what I want I’ll end up sending 15 text messages in a row to everyone and then no one will text me which is kind of how it goes right now anyways bc I always end up sending too much when in the off chance someone does text me

but nobody does text me I don’t really understand why I think I’ve got a lot to offer, but maybe that’s the problem maybe I think too highly of myself and people just aren’t interested maybe if I shared my fears with people then they would want to stay friends with me as my biggest fear is that my friends will get sick of me and will leave me if I share this with them though they’ll be pity friends and no one no respectable person wants a friendship that only exists out of pity

I don’t even really understand why this is such a big problem for me. I have two loving amazing parents who are still happily married. Maybe it’s because my first experience with having a bffae (best friend forever and ever) ended with her moving away and the friendship fading and me realizing that forever really meant “or until one of us moves away” and my next experience with “best friends” was a group of girls my age that I never really fit in with and after that I had a best friend named Bridgette who I met in my 3rd grade (her 5th grade) home school group. she was the bestest most coolest friend I thought was even possible. we were best friends for what felt like a lifetime we did everything together, got matching outfits, laughed at the same jokes, used each others phrases and we even kind of looked alike. I even planned on her being the maid of honor at my future wedding. she eventually realized how much older she was than me I guess when she started getting older friends and realized I was annoying. Before she ended our best friendship I tried so hard to fix things with her. I didn’t want to let her go as a friend. The day she told me I was annoying still stings a little.

After Bridgette, I went back to regular school (well private Christian school) with some snobby popular girls who I thought I was best friends with. I thought I was so cool because I was friends with everybody especially the nerdy kids and more importantly the girls who were so cool to everybody else. I never really bought into the whole “popular kids are better than everyone else” trope but I did think I was best friends with this group who happened to also be the popular girls. They messed me up pretty good for a while. One of them convinced me to get an Instagram only to later block me on it and tell all her friends to block me to and then to lie about it. They told me I was annoying. One time one of them actually came up and told me to my face “I hate you” for no reason whatsoever other than that her little group had dared her to. They all laughed in the corner but I could see them laughing.

then I had a best friend who was so funny she taught me to laugh more and she was so cool then a third girl joined our friendship and eventually the friendship became the two of them. they’re still friends which is cool, but it would have been nice to keep in touch with them as I really valued my time with them I think they thought I was annoying or something

Next was my first real love. I don’t want to tell this story but basically we were bestfriends and then we liked each other and then I fell in love and I guess he didn’t, even though he acted like he did and he eventually left me saying I was annoying just like the others

Why do I crave connection so badly? I just want someone to call me their favorite and to take notice when I don’t text for a while someone to call me every once in a while out of the blue just to say hi. I don’t even want it to be romantically at this point because those friendships are certain to end when the “relationship” ends like with ex boyfriend of now 2 months. He never reaches out. It’s like we’re just strangers and I hate that I hate how selfish his love was. He didn’t love me, not really but I digress *refer to "Stop saying ‘I love you’”*

so ya, why do I overthink how much I text people in a row? because if I say too much they get annoyed or worse, indifferent, and they don’t even respond with anything that took longer than 5 seconds to think about

My current best friend is supposed to live with me and my family over summer she is coming at the end of the month and I keep telling myself I’m excited but the more I say it the less I believe it to be true. I am afraid, afraid she’s going to get annoyed with me like everyone else does. I’m afraid we will not be best friends after this situation I fear we’ll drift apart I hope to God and pray that we don’t I couldn’t bear to lose another best friend

or maybe I could maybe that’s just the thing, people are temporary and they cannot be trusted to stay the same that’s just the thing people change. I change I change a lot, hopefully I’m less annoying

bambam: the meme freshman - dresses in one solid color and looks stupid af - brings an unnecessary amount of school supplies - "Subscribe to my YouTube channel for dank memes and vlogs." - shits his pants when he realizes the tardy bell rung - gets bullied by seniors on the first day of school - dabs the entire day - thinks he's tough now that he's in high school - "Hey babes!1!1!" - tries so hard to fit in - rides the bus home jackson: the hype freshman - looks like he belongs in the 11th grade tbh - ends up becoming friends with the janitor, lunch lady, teacher, and students - very popular - "Can you curve my grade? It's only my first year here." - doesn't care if he's late to class since he's cool with the teachers - on the basketball team - has a roast session in the cafeteria during lunch - brings his own organic lunch to school - conceited lil shit - the loudest one in the hallway - all of his friends are in a higher grade jaebum: the careless freshman - doesn't care for high school - stays to himself most of the time - "I'm just here to get my diploma and leave tbh." - gets in trouble for sleeping and listening to music in class - has a small circle of friends - takes his time going to class though the tardy bell already rang - makes good grades - can be found in detention - takes some honor classes - always getting flirted to by boys and girls - soccer squad though he kinda sucks - looks like a senior himself mark: the shy freshman - scared on his first day of school - probably just brought a pencil and a notebook - always late to his classes - ends up making friends somehow - sometimes sits to himself at lunch - tired of school already - "Hey I'm just Mark." - skates home - looks like he belongs in the 6th grade - so quiet that you can't tell he's in the classroom - dresses like your typical LA boy yugyeom: the scared freshman - cries on his first day - "momma I wanna go home." - eventually makes friends - looks like a grown man - always asked if he flunked a grade - hates going to math class - probably the one getting roasted in the roast session - is always told he should be on the football team - dances and acts like a show off - the tallest one in most of his classes - lit at the talent shows tbh - all that matters is that he and bambam can link up jinyoung: the intelligent freshman - does not give a single fuck on the first day of school - is paid to do other people's homework - makes straight A's the whole year - dresses like a little grown adult - all AP and honor classes - in a lot of programs for smart kids - talks shit about everyone - makes a lot of friends - "Don't think that being a senior means you can't catch this ass whooping." - is also an after school tutor - "Special ed is that way since you can't seem to do your own work." - nobody messes with him cause they know he'll beat their ass youngjae: the kind freshman - is excited for his first day and even plans out his outfit - on the cupcake committee for fundraisers - is almost too nice bc people can be ugly toward him - brings the right amount of school supplies for the whole year - everyone likes him - is protected by jackson - laughs too loud - teachers pet - is friends with everyone - "Oh hello! About This Weeks Video...

watching this weeks video right when i got up, i realized i'm more like the boys than i ever thought i was. i have already made a post about my struggles that i never shared w people on the internet bc i felt like my problems were justifiable or even bad enough to talk about. but now, it's my turn to be honest w all of you bc like the boys, making other people not feel so alone is one of the many things that i do to bring me happiness in life. when i was in the 7th grade, i was bullied tremendously. i had a 'boyfriend' at the time who let all of his friends be mean to me bc i was younger than him and new to the school. they poured milk all over my backpack and school supplies, chucked it in the dirt, pushed me and yelled names at me, and made him break up w me which he did, and he got w another girl who he'd been talking to this whole time. then a situation happened w another boy i though i had liked, and his friend literally took my body and rammed me up against the wall bruising my back and neck. he told m i was ugly and to stop liking his friend bc his friend hated me. that's when i first harmed myself. i had started cutting. then, i had a 'boyfriend' in the 8th grade who i thought was amazing, but it turns out he was very possessive and immature. he would grab me tightly around the wrists, leaving bruises, and he would throw things at me like our backpacks and random objects when he would get mad at me at school. there was even a time where he sexually abused me in front of a group of students that still gives me chills to this day. this is when i thought of suicide. my first attempt was this year, after many students called me a slut, whore, fat, ugly, a mistake and even told me they wouldn't care if i died. i had developed depression and anxiety also in this year. sitting on the hospital bed the first time didn't shake my brain at all. going in high school, i had 4 friends that stood by me but once i started getting bullied again, they almost left my side. they were more 'likable' than me i guess bc people gravitated toward them more. i had finally tried to tell my best friend (who had been there w me all through middle school) what i was feeling and going through, and she completely lost it. she got mad at me, left my side, and told everyone what i had told her but as a joke. many people now knew of my struggles but made it worse saying i 'did it for attention' when i had never even mentioned my problems to anyone before, not even therapists or counselors. some months pass and like before, i get my first real boyfriend. he was the popular guy, the guy everyone wanted, the athlete, the boy w bright blueish green eyes and a huge smile. i was in awe, but i wouldn't say i was in love. he tried getting sexual w me so many times but bc of what my 'boyfriend' previous had done to me and how he reacted when i didn't want it, i went along w it even though my head was screaming at me to stop. people witnessed the things he did to me and never asked if i was okay. i'd arrive to class late, my body shaken, my eyes almost popping out of my head, and i remained quiet. he ended up dumping me 3 months later for my friend. i still have scars from cutting myself after school after what he had done to me. sophomore year, the last time i ever tried to commit suicide. but not the last time i ever thought about it or hurt myself. idk exactly what was going on, but my brain was so frazzled. i was utterly alone at this point. i had to eat w my old physics teacher in his room bc nobody wanted to have lunch w me. but he was an awesome guy, so sometimes i didn't mind. i had one friend who didn't even go to the school, so i sometimes face timed her when she was free. but somehow down the line, with the cyberbullying, physical and emotional bullying, and my now new relationship that i had been in for 3 years (right after my last boyfriend, the one i had just recently cut off if you guys keep up w my posts) that i wasn't happy with at all, my mind started to go to the darkest of places. depression does that to you. everyone thinks there's a certain trigger, but for me, i will have days where i sit in bed all day not eating or drinking and just listening to my music or watching YT videos to at least put a smile on my face. this is also when i discovered the twins on vine. but it still wasn't enough, i myself wasn't enough, i was a burden on people's shoulders and i was a fucked up mistake. so i swallowed a whole bottle of my prescription pills for the last time. throughout these past 2 years ethan and grayson made me smile harder and laugh more than i ever thought possible. i look forward every week to hear their positive messages and contagious laughs. but seeing this weeks video, made me realize we're not so different. i, like grayson, would tell myself people go through worse so i always shut my mouth when i wanted to talk about my issues bc i wanted to get better. i, like ethan, didn't even address my issues until it was too late and i was cutting myself so much that both my arms, my thighs, and my lower stomach were covered in red and purple marks. this weeks video may have been short but it addressed so much for two young and powerful teens, who are going through what others never thought they would. ethan needs to listen to us when we say he's valued and loved and needs a break, and grayson needs to hear that focusing on yourself bc you don't feel good or happy is acceptable at any time. i hope now they see our comments to them and take them in. i will always have mad love for these guys bc they helped me get through so much during my difficult times. and i will be right there w them even if they don't notice me. it gives me great happiness to know that even though i'm still struggling and working on myself, that i can help them with a simple nice tweet. ethan and grayson are my true idols, they'll always have a special place in my heart. i love this family that they've given me on this platform, and i could never thank them enough for giving me back the happiness i now know i deserve. i'm open to anyone ever talking to me about their struggles since i've now opened up to you all. all the love, K 💜

Ben and Lonnie are Actually BFF’s - headcanon/meta brought to you by Rani and her need for her faves to have been friends and also a little wish-fulfillment. I wrote this forever ago and it’s A Lot but I’m posting it before it gets jossed by Descendants 2 (which....who knows maybe my broship will be canon but whateva).

So for my First Piece of Evidence...it’s less evidence and more me spit balling (I’ll get to actual evidence later). But they’re pretty evenly matched in temperament, they’re both happy, cheerful, and kind kids with a general positive outlook on life which would make me think they would get along. I mean, Ben seems to get along with everyone so its not far of a stretch that him and Lonnie would get along.

Second, she seems pretty down with the proclamation. Which could be chalked up to her just being a good person but uh. Considering the pushback Ben got from it (warranted or not), it doesn’t seem very likely that’s the reason. Or likely all on it’s own anyway. I mean most of the parents are against it, at the very least the more popular kids are against it (minus Ben), so that’s a lot of people around Lonnie that don’t like it, but she seems sorta down with it, even if she’s a bit reluctant. Which obviously means that Ben was like “look literally even my parents aren’t in love with this idea I need someone in my corner Lonnie pls I will do your math homework for a month” and she went along with it bc THEY ARE BFFS.

Third point which is - Lonnie tries quite often to be their friend, initially in a way that looks like she was put up to it by someone else (...maybe...idk...Ben...) but then keeps trying

she’s one of the first to reach out to the four and she does so fairly early on

also. why would she go to them for magic hairdo she’s the kid of two big military leaders i am positive she has the money to go to a nice hairdresser or like, her grandmother.

she also comes across a bit better than chad and jane do - evie wants a boyfriend, chad plays on this by using her to do his homework, mal has to chase after jane and jane only stays bc mal makes her popular. the minute audrey and them accept jane, she drops mal fairly quickly. lonnie wants them to do something for her yeah, but she offers to pay for it, so it’s not like she’s taking advantage or anything.

her reaction after she gets her hair done like she’s SO EXCITED AND SHE WANTS MAL TO KNOW THAT and then she rips her skirt in a really obvious i’m-gonna-be-cool-like-you way

she continually reaches out to them, not just for her hair and her own gain but she goes when they’re making cookies and mentions everyone wants Mal to do their hair, which points to her talking Mal’s makeover skills up.

Which. LET ME TALK ABOUT THAT SCENE. She tries to make conversation during that scene, she offers help, she’s genuinely trying to be nice, and wants to know about their lives. And when their lives turn out to be worse than she thought, she doesn’t brush it off or blame them for t heir shitty lives like other characters do, she is KIND AND SYMPATHETIC and tries to offer comfort!!! It even seems to work for a half a second but you know, plot happens and all.

She also sits with the girls at the game even tho she obviously has other friends, but she reaches out anyway.

she is literally the only character besides Ben to constantly reach out to them, in what is initially a way that is her not happpy with it (like she’s been put up to it by a friend) but then keeps trying to be their friend

Piece the Fourth - evidence she’s friends (good friends!!) with Ben. [note: some of this would do better if I had gifs to back it up but I can’t gif. So I have caps, altho it might be a little hard to tell but it’s the best I can do sorry]

Again, first person to actively seek them out (Chad and Jane sorta fall into their laps, and Doug is their guide thing. She’s the one who makes first contact).

the way she phrases it “you hate us and well...you’re evil” strikes me as someone put her up to it. like your friend is like go talk to the new kid they seem nice and you’re like fine and you’re a bit of an asshole initially cuz u don’t want to be there. Considering the fact that Ben has seen they’re having some issues blending in, and then the weirdness of Mal chasing Jane into the bathroom, it would make sense that he’d want to make them feel more welcome so he sends a friend he knows won’t be a dick to go talk to them. Lonnie agrees bc Ben and also she’s nice.

Like seriously she's like squealing and grabbing Mal and pointing at Ben, like there's excited and then there's Lonnie during that scene.

During the Family Day debacle, everyone else starts walking away after Chad wakes up, but she stays

Later, she doesn't gossip like Jane or Audrey, she lookes upset like Doug and a bit mad about what just happened.She also loks v disappointed in Doug when he rejects Evie and then sorta shakes her head and looks annoyed when Jane and Audrey come over after they had just insulted Mal. I don’t have great caps for this bc she’s not the focus on the scene (this is where giffing skills would come in siiiigh) but I did find one cap that isn’t too terrible

She does leave with the group but unlike everyone else, she doesn't look afraid, she's just pulling a Chad away from the group (probably stopping him from getting his ass put to sleep again bc come on nobody is happy during that scene)

So she very obviosly is not happy about this, attempts to comfort Ben, and is not ok with the petty shit Chad, Jane, and Audrey pull off, and disappointed in Doug not reaching out to Evie. To me, it seems less like she’s in with the other kids, and more like she feels very torn and not sure of how to react to the situation. So, similar to Doug - which, I was very annoyed with Doug and while it is disappointing that Lonnie wouldn’t say something either, peer pressure is a hell of a motivator and when you go to school with literal princes and princesses, that peer pressure is probably multiplied by 10000. Not to mention, we know characters like the dwarves are treated badly by Auradon per Isle of the Lost. While Mulan and Shang are human, they’re also not royalty and I wonder how well they would be treated.

And then in Set It Off, she just jumps into the happy right away. She doesn’t need to be cheered up and she’s not a love interest, she’s just genuinely happy for everyone. Which is a) part of part three in that she’s just a really nice person and b) she’s happy bc her best friend is at least dating someone she likes I mean idk about any of you, but I’m always much happier when I approve of my friends’ dating choices

In conclusion I just love Lonnie so much, she’s so nice to the rotten four and she wants to give them a chance and I want Ben to have friends that actually support him and I want Lonnie to have friends that aren’t catty as hell and I think it would be cute if they were friends, I think there’s a decent amount of evidence that points towards them being friends, and it’s my headcanon and I say so :P
