About ten years ago Craigslist had the "casual encounters" section. I had a few successful encounters before they got rid of it.
One night I was high and horny and I got fixated on the idea of meeting a woman I had never met before at a hotel with the intent to do blow and fuck all night. So I made a post and after about an hour of spam bots i got a real reply from a sexy thick blonde milf that was 10 years older than me.
We emailed back and forth for about a day, feeling each other out and when we both were sure we were legit, we began making plans on when and where. I chose a nice hotel with an in room jacuzzi that was close to where she lived called Lake Tarpon Resort (the name has since changed).
The day arrives and I pick up an 🎱 from my co-worker and head to the hotel, two cities away from me. I was a bit nervous on the drive, it was raining pretty hard and the whole situation was crazy to begin with. Stopped at a Walgreens and sat for a moment to think things through and decided I'd come that far, this is going down. So I buy a box of condoms and drive the final mile to the hotel.
I go in the lobby and there she is, exactly like her pictures. She was wearing what looked like basically sexy office worker attire, black heels, black skirt, white blouse, black jacket. Sounds plain the way I described it but she looked hot in it.
I get our room key and we head up. The moment we're in the room we're all over each other, kissing, ours hands exploring each other's bodies until I pull away and pull out the ❄ and break out some lines. Watching a woman do a line of blow is a huge turn on for me, so when she did hers I was rock hard and ready to go.
I just undress like normal which disappointed her because she wanted to undress me. So to make up for it I push her on the bed and begin undressing her, trying to be sexy but really just doing it frantically and awkwardly. It doesn't matter, we're high, she's wet, I'm hard, were ready to fuck.
Now, I was hardly sexually experienced at the time, I'd never even given a woman oral. I wasn't a virgin but I had only had sex like 3 times before, so a part of the reason I wanted to do this in the first place was to get some proper experience under my belt lol.
She tells me she wants to suck my cock, so I lay down. She tells me my cock is huge, which I just roll my eyes at because at the time I didn't think it was anything but average and then begins to give me a passable bj (I've never really enjoyed getting head all that much, even today) then surprises me by putting the condom on me with her mouth like a hooker lol. She straddles me and sits on my cock, and to my surprise she's still acting like it's huge, easing it in slow like she can't take it. I think she's just trying to make me feel good. She finally had be all the way inside her pussy and she says the not move. She just sits there catching her breath then finally begins to ride my cock. I grab her tits but then after merge the third time she bounces on my cock she lets out a loud moan as her whole body shudders. She came and I barely did anything. At the moment I began to think maybe she wasn't just trying to be nice, especially when I saw how wet my pelvis and thighs were from her. That's when I knew that night was gonna be even better than I had imagined.
She rides me until we both cum together. We do some more lines and after a bit it's time for round 2. I love kissing so I wanted her on her back missionary style. I put the second condom on myself and climb on the bed. As I push my cock inside she's whimpering and telling me to go slow, so I do. Once on in I begin to fuck her in the most awful "push up style" looking way, you know, holding my upper body up with my arms like I'm doing a push up while I clumsily thrusted my lower body forward. This was exactly why I wanted to use the night as practice. Finally I figured out that resting on my knees while keeping my upper body upright is way better and I began to finally fuck her good and proper. She didn't last long again and neither did I, but when I was about to cum she DEMANDS that I "Take that fucking condom off" and cum on her. I pull out and try pulling the condom off and she immediately grabs it from me and yanks it off my cock so fast, which to this day is one of the hottest things I've ever experienced. Just how badly she wanted me to cum on her that she couldn't wait. I shoot big load and she says "Fuck yes, that's what I wanted" when it manages to get on her face as well.
The rest if the tale is hazy. We stopped using condoms for the rest if the night. Kept doing blow in between each round until it was gone. Fucked her 5 times total, round 3 was my first time giving a cream pie, round 4 we fucked standing doggy and I came disappointingly small amount on her ass, and round 5 was after we went to sleep, I woke up to her grabbing on my cock which was already hard and fucked her as we laid on our sides, cumming inside her again if any cum actually came out of me lol.
I still am in touch with her to this day, though we have never met up again. I wish I could remember more details, but as Rick James said... Cocaine is a Hell of a drug.

It might be the hilarity of it all.
It was kind of funny.
Seeing your normally regal lover stumble over her own feet--er... paws. Ruby laughed, fixing the leather cuff on her wrist that Blue had given her; it cancelled the otherwise volatile magic she had.
"Emma, what spell did you use exactly?" Blue sighed, eyeing the blonde.
"I don't even know! I was just trying to make Regina levitate--"
Ruby raised a brow. "I'd say she's doing the opposite."
The large black wolf before the two gave a low growl at Emma, finally regaining balance on the laminated tile of the home.
"I seriously don't know what I did, Regina..." Emma tried, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. "I mean, it's a good look?"
The wolf snarled, gnashing its fangs angrily whilst Ruby stood quickly and took her lover's maw.
"Hey, baby--"
Regina growled.
"No growling. Now, you know how I feel. Just, calm down. Calm down for me, hun?" Ruby murmured, petting the sides of her fluffy neck.
The wolf gave a huff, sitting back on its haunches and eventually laying on the floor before the couch where Ruby sat. Regina rested her head on Ruby's lap, chuffing contentedly as the brunette pet up and down the length of her snout.
"I'm sure we can find a way to return your magic to their rightful places." Blue began, giving a wave of her hand and only succeeding in showering light cerulean sparkles over the two.
Regina gave a sniffle then sneezed at the presence of said sparkles.
Ruby chuckled and scratched between the wolf's ears. "Any luck, Blue?"
"No, unfortunately, it seems it will reverse with time..." The fairy frowned after few more attempts. "How you managed to perform such a spell is beyond me, Emma..."
Emma laughed nervously.
Regina's chest rumbled darkly for a moment, quickly quieting when Ruby pet her once more.
"Well, guess we're both getting some magic lessons in the meantime, Em." The tall brunette chuckled.
"How are you so calm about this? What if I fucked up your whole body by switching your magics?!" Emma groaned, looking miserable at the prospect.
Ruby shrugged. "I'll be honest. It's hard to be nervous when you've got this in front of you." She hummed, playing with Regina's ears whilst the wolf's tail wagged at the attention from her girlfriend.
"Not to mention, with this cuff thing--" the brunette held her right arm up. "It blocks the magic out anyway. I won't hurt anyone like this."
"Uh-huh... so, no hard feelings, Regina?" Emma tried tentatively.
The wolf gave a snap of its jaws, grumbling lightly until Emma took an anxious step back.
"Yeah, I deserve that."
(pt2)
"So, why is she stuck like this?" Snow asked, watching the wolf run about the grass with a laughing Henry in tow.
"Emma accidentally swapped out magics and she hasn't figured out how to transform back. I guess she just doesn't feel that tingle to return to normal--"
"--tingle?" Snow chuckled.
"Yeah, it was hard to decipher when I first transformed but after a couple full moons... it's like an itch you have to scratch. It's weird to describe." Ruby shrugged, watching the large wolf pad about the playground floor whilst Henry ran about the actual building.
"Ruby, Ruby!"
The brunette was up and running over to them in a flash, not as fast as normal but still quite. "What? What, Hen?!"
The boy laughed. "Wanna play tag with us?"
Regina eyed the two on the playground structure with a wag of her tail.
"Tag? That's sort of unfair, kid. I mean, your mom's nearly the size of a truck-"
Regina growled.
"Oh, hush. You are."
Henry smiled. "You are really big as a wolf, Mom. Not as big as Ruby but still really big."
The wolf grumbled.
"So, who's it?"
Henry beamed. "Mom, you're it! Count to ten to give us a headstart!" He hummed before sprinting off into the light brush about the playground.
The wolf gave soft huffs in succession to indicate counting as best she could.
Ruby had run the opposite direction.
Regina finished her huffing, turning and rushing after Henry. Ruby assumed she was safe.
Until Snow began cackling and Ruby turned to find Henry riding Regina's back and the wolf sprinting towards her.
"Really?! That's not even--" she began, only to be tackled by the beast.
Snow continued to laugh.

hii! i'm literally so ridiculously excited for this ahah - i also love the dead poet's society.
my name is eva rose - eva's fine though lol - and i'm straight with she/her pronouns. i'm a sagittarius with a virgo moon and an enfp. i'm 5''3 with auburn curly hair and a petite (i think??) hourglass figure. i'm fair skinned and burn in the summer. i have freckles pretty much all year round - but only on my cheeks and the tip of my nose. my eyes are blue but look green in certain lighting.
i like to dress alt, with maybe a little cottagecore. my go-to outfits are usually things like baggy jeans and tight crop tops. i have adhd so i can't really wear certain stuff because of sensory issues.
i would describe myself as observant, fun, genuine, confident and honest. i can be pretty blunt about my opinions which can throw people off. i'm an introverted extrovert and can't handle being around people for too long. i prefer talking to listening and i'm an idealist - i'd also say i come across as feminine in terms of vibes. i love thinking about different possibilities and trying to predict the future - i also like talking about fiction & books, especially old classics.
i'm also a massive hopeless romantic and my love language is quality time - and sometimes physical touch. if i'm close to someone i like to ramble about my hyperfixations ahah.
i like old cities, anything vintage, astrology, baking, psychology and greek myths. i like 60s-80s music - the beatles, david bowie, a couple of the smiths songs - and of course lana<33 (although she's not from the time ofc). my favourite movies kinda vary - mean girls, the dead poet's society, cheesy romcoms - but i love settling down after a long day and watching them with friends.
tysm!! 💕💕
your perfect matchup is 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 💌
𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 <𝟑
𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝟐 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 <𝟑
ok so this was actually such a hard decision to make because i’m convinced all of the poets would literally love you so much!!! but using my big girl brain i decided that todd would be the one who would love you romantically ya know.
so like i said i imagine you being friends with all the poets but like i can especially see you being besties with charlie, like childhood friends sort of thing so charlie being the good friend he is invited you to a poets meeting.
you were pretty excited as you snuck out of your dorm with your friends (because there’s no way as a girl you’re going anywhere by yourself in the middle of the night)
little did you know that you were about to meet the love of your life.
when you get to the cave the meeting is in full swing.
todd is reading a poem to the group, smiling and laughing but when he sees you his voice turns into a stammer and his cheeks flush.
he’s completely smitten by you and he doesn’t even know your name.
charlie’s eyes flick between you two immediately picking up on the tension, he smirks and introduces you to todd. winking at the pair of you before leaving you to talk for he knows when he’s not wanted.
safe to say you and todd are the romeo and juliet of the cave <333
𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 <𝟑
you two would literally be the sweetest couple ever!!!
like i swear the pair of you are so smitten with each other all of the time like you’re always going on cute dates, holding hands and whispering sweet words to each other.
todd is obviously more on the introverted side he doesn’t mind your occasionally introverted side at all in fact he’s more than glad to have a break from people so he’ll be introverted with you.
when i say you two are the romeo and juliet of the cave i mean it because todd has a infp personality type and you have an enfp personality type just like how juliet has an infp personality type and romeo has an enfp personality type.
he loves when he gets to lay his head on your lap and just listen to you read classics it’s such a comfort to him.
plus slow dancing to old records!!!
he can be quite insecure often wondering why you would choose him over anyone else so you’ll need to remind him that he’s the one you love.
if you’re todd’s gf you need to accept that all the poets are now your friends too.
all of them but todd especially would adore listening to you talk about your passions, he would just stare at you with an enamoured expression on his face as you spoke.
well acts he thinks your the prettiest person ever so he’ll just stare at you all the time. honestly makes you worry that you’ve got food on your face but no he’s just head over heels for you.
he’s given you a promise ring which he swears one day he’ll replace with an engagement ring softly saying to you that “i hope when you try to predict the future you see yourself in a white dress walking down an aisle with me waiting with tears in my eyes at the other side”
invite me when you do get married <333
𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 <𝟑
Tumblr media
i literally wanna be friends with you so bad you seem so cool!!! hope you like it!!! hugs and kisses, flo <333

thoughts on the gus n mike mentions on kim' affidavit?
The phrasing of "a man I now know was Michael Ehrmantraut" jumped out at me - it highlights how it really was kind of crazy that she had no idea who he was when they spoke for the first time, and didn't until the aftermath of Howard's murder. I would have really loved to hear Jimmy describe his relationship with Mike to her, and after she found out, I would have loved to know what she thought about Mike's decision to come to her instead of him about Lalo.
The mention of Mike implicitly threatening their lives was also interesting. That's context that I think a lot of people forget about when thinking about the aftermath of Howard's murder - like, yes, it was partly for selfish reasons they didn't come forward with the truth immediately, but also they probably would have been murdered if they tried to tell the truth.
I was also interested that Jimmy and Kim did learn Gus's identity at that time - I was never clear if they knew who it was they'd been sent to murder and what his role was. I figured that Jimmy would find out eventually, but I thought that maybe Kim left before finding out. So I guess Mike told them? (I am probably forgetting something - I'm going to be real, I haven't rewatched 6b yet, what with all the trauma, so it's entirely possible that issue was already addressed and I just forgot lol)
Beyond Mike and Gus, I was really struck by how reasonable it all sounded. I don't think she'll face criminal charges because of the lack of physical evidence, but I'd always thought that Cheryl was going to have a hard time getting anyone to take Kim's words seriously because it's so bonkers.
But I should have known Kim better, because the way she lays it all out makes a lot of sense. It would have probably been impossible if Gus was still alive, but given that he's both 1) dead and 2) had his criminal empire exposed, this story doesn't seem quite so crazy. The law already knows about Lalo's secret identity and that Jimmy was his lawyer, so that also tracks.
I guess it's possible people would think Kim had some sort of psychotic break and fabricated a crazy story based on what she heard from the news, but it's all so sober and matter-of-fact

It's certainly been awhile since I have used you, old friend. I hope you don't mind me coming to you for help once again. Things have been troubling me lately, and I do not feel comfortable discussing it with anyone, including Tesla.
Dr. Tesla has been away for around six hours, though it would be more accurately described as days. Work has kept her extremely busy and exhausted. As a result, there have barely been any moments where we have talked with each other than a quick 'goodbye' or 'goodnight' if we lay down at the same time...
---------
Einstein sat silently at her desk. A journal was laid there, waiting for her to open it. Years worth of wear and tear were obvious. What it was originally supposed to look like had long since been muddied, leaving zero trace of its life before. Only thing remaining was her name on the inside of the cover, an old message from Karl, along with various entries she'd written over the years.
She stared at the cover with sadness. It was one of the few things she took before leaving Lab 42 that fateful night, with faint memories of that day still lingering with it. Carefully turning the pages she glanced over several old passages, ranging from when she was a child all the way up until she met Tesla.
Glancing over one of the last entries she let out a soft laugh.
'This girl, Nikola I think her name was, has absolutely zero regard for her own safety. I'm truthfully surprised that she has made it this far without getting into serious trouble, or worse. I worry for anyone paired up with her within the coming weeks.'
Sometimes the way things change, yet stay the same, amazes her.
---------
I never thought I'd be forced to admit it, but I miss her deeply. Life has never felt so dull without her constant presence. Her energetic and eccentric personality that once kept me on my toes has been reduced to a shell of it's former self. It feels as if she's almost never home anymore.
These past few weeks have forced me to acknowledge things I once believed I would never have to face.
I believed I would be able to push all of this down and never think of it again. Things would be better that way, however I now realize the true reason for it was fear and denial...
---------
Flipping through eventually led her to the last entry before the pages went blank.
'Professor Planck insisted that I work with Nikola. We had not started working for five minutes before she called me 'mophead'. I should be offended, though I'm not sure I mind it. There's something about her that I can't quite figure out. One thing for certain is she's incredibly talented at what she does. Perhaps this could turn out better than I originally anticipated. That is if she doesn't get herself, or me, killed first.'
A chuckle escaped, "Nikola you really are the same girl I fell in love with all those years ago."
Turning to a new page she just began staring at it. An anxious feeling over whelmed her, and she debated whether this was a good idea. After a minute, and some hesitation, she reached for her pen.
Something had been bothering her for days, though if she were honest it was had been bothering her for years. Feelings that were pushed down in an attempt to continue the status quo. They wanted to desperately come out, and it was eating her alive and distracting her.
It led to her looking for this journal. After digging through her nightstand for it, she brought it into their office.
---------
Fear of losing everything we've worked hard for over the years. All of the sacrifices we've made over the years, the countless people who sacrificed themselves to help move forward, the sleepless nights we've had, all of it.
Most of all, I'm afraid of losing her. The fear of losing her, not knowing what she'd say or do afterwards, it's worse than the fear of Anti-Entropy falling apart at it's seams. Without her none of it matters. There's not an Anti-Entropy without her.
Tesla has been one of the only people who has been there since the beginning. All of the memories we made together, the mischief we got up to, all of it. Even after everything that's happened we are still by each others side. Throughout all the arguments, frustration trying to figure out where to go next, none of it was able to pull us away.
As pathetic as it is to say, she's the reason I keep going forward. Every time she starts going on about a new interest, a new idea for an experiment, her wanting to spend time together, even her questionable temper, all of it reminds me why we're still here and why we need to continue forward.
Why I'm still here. Why I need to continue going...
---------
She began writing. Although it would look like nothing but mathematical nonsense for an experiment, to her and Tesla it made complete sense. They had originally created it to pass notes back and forth undetected, which eventually resulted in them using it to talk with each other in front of others without them knowing.
Ultimately she did this in an attempt to make others not understand it, and assume she simply needed scratch paper should it be found. As for Tesla, she was already aware of her journal and knew she hadn't used it in years. If she put it back before she got home there was a high chance she'd never even know. Besides that, they promised each other not to lie to the other and keep secrets.
They both were aware of the irony of their promises to each other.
Starting was a struggle. Embarrassment, confusion, all of it made it difficult to get a word down.
---------
Every moment we've spent together will forever stick with me. Even the times where everything backfired. The moments where we just sat there staring at the sky. The mischief we caused around Schicksal, recruiting Joachim to play pranks on others. I'll cherish these forever.
Even the moments when we were both tired and exhausted. The several times she's come home and just fallen asleep on me while I worked. Having to remind her to eat after procrastinating until the last possible second and locking herself up in our office. Her having to snap me out of it whenever I do the exact same thing.
Staying up all night talking and joking with each other, discussing plans for when we were off, brushing her hair after she gets so frustrated I worry for the brush's well being, they seem so menial in the grand scheme of things but they're what's most important to me...
---------
After an hour, Tesla opened the front door. She glanced around noticing how quiet it was. Slightly frowning, she threw her purse on a table and went towards their room. Not in here.
"Maybe she's working," she mumbled walking towards their office. Glancing around the corner she saw the girls blue disaster she called her hair. She stood in the doorway for a second. After a minute of either Einstein not noticing her, or just ignoring her again, Tesla walked in and pulled her chair next to her.
Sitting down, she laid her head on her shoulder closing her eyes, "Hey mophead."
"Hey, Tes," the girl responded, fear running through her mind as she debated what to do. "Work go okay?"
The girl next to her angrily made a noise before mumbling, "Every day god keeps testing my patience I get closer and closer to killing someone."
Einstein chuckled, patting her on her head. "On the bright side we're off for the next few days, maybe god will have mercy on your nonexistent patience."
Annoyed mumbling was barely audible. She smiled softly, just staring at the ball of anger and annoyance laying on her.
After a few minutes of silence Tes raised her head. "What are you even doing in here-" pausing to fix her glasses, "-you're normally getting ready for bed by now."
Einstein began reaching for the notebook, "I was reading earlier and wanted to jot down some notes to pass the time. It is quite boring here while you're gone."
She seemed to accept the answer, looking down towards the book curiously. Glancing over the pages, she began yawning. "Eins, are you almost ready to go to be-"
Einstein glanced over at her, confused as to why she went silent.
---------
I doubt I will ever bring any of this up to her, whether it be out of cowardice or fear.
Logically, considering our circumstances and past experiences, there's around a 95% chance that nothing bad will happen. However, that five percent risk is not worth it to me.
We almost complete each other in a strange sense. Complementing each others personalities in a way I can not describe.
I truly love and admire her. If I have to live for the rest of eternity there's nobody else I'd rather have by my side..
---------
The redhead stayed silent, unable to process what she was reading. It was at that moment Einstein realized how she might've just fucked up. Neither spoke.
Eventually Tesla looked at her, barely able to even make eye contact. Words struggled to even come out. "Li-li-liserel I.. we need to talk."
"Tesla I-" Before she could say anything the other girl had already ran out, nearly tripping over herself.
She stared out the empty door. Her chest hurt, she blinked tears away trying to calm down.
'Dear Lieserl,
Although I am aware you don't believe in running off of emotions, there are certain situations that can not be solved through physics or logic. That's part of the reason I am gifting you this before I go back to Berlin.
You're probably annoyed reading this, and thinking 'This old man sounds like those psychologists,' but life's not always black and white. I trust that Emma will take care of you, though she can be overbearing at times. However, if things ever become to much for you to handle and you feel alone, try to write it all down within here. It sounds silly, but sometimes putting your feelings out there will help you figure out a solution to things. You may not understand this now, however I believe over time when you begin to meet more people and gain experiences you will understand.
Whenever I return we can sit down and discuss it together. Treat this as your way of talking to me and remembering important details you want to share.
I'm unsure of when I'll be able to return, but I will certainly try to make it soon. I'm extremely proud of you, and I can't wait to see what you end up accomplishing in your life.
PS. If you ever have a moment I would love it if you could send me letters about how you're progressing in your studies. Tell Emma I said hi for me as well.
From the 'slightly less annoying old man,'
Karl.'
Thirty minutes had passed with Einstein pacing laps around their office. Thoughts raced through her mind, and she dreaded leaving their office to find her.
'How am I supposed to face her. Is this the end.'
Tears streamed down her face, all she wanted to do was disappear into thin air.
---------
Tesla was sat in their room, holding the picture from her nightstand. Her mind was racing, confusion, embarrassment, fear, and exhaustion all came together to make her over think and panic.
Stress from the situation caused her to zone out, not even acknowledging nor noticing anything else around her.
Einstein eventually forced herself to leave their office, if only because she was worried about Tes. Wiping her face, she took a deep breathe and looked around the corner to see her sat on their bed. Her hair was a mess, and it had been clear she'd been crying.
Hesitantly she began walking towards the end of the bed and sat down, the other girl never even noticing her there. Reaching over, she tapped her shoulder causing her to jump.
"Tesla I'm so sorry for scaring you.. I" She paused, unable to look at her as she stared at her silently. "Nikola I'm sorry, I never expected you to see any of that and I.."
Interrupting her, the girl forced herself to speak. "Please stop talking you dumbass.."
Caught off guard, she sat silent for a minute. Eventually, Einstein stood up, "I'm sorry.. Look, I'll go stay with Joa-"
"That's not what I meant, Einstein. Stay here Lieserl.." it went silent, until she barely whispered "please.."
For once Einstein was the one left confused on what the other was thinking. Her facial expression couldn't be read like normal, though it was partly because strands of hair had covered some of it.
"We need to talk about this... We should've had this conversation years ago." She sat the picture of the two back beside her, looking at the other girl.
She sat back down, anxiously messing with her jacket. "Tes how much of that did you see.."
"All of it.." she said softly.
"I should've told you this a long time ago, Tes."
They sat silently, unsure of where to go from there.
"Look Tes, I've loved you for a long time. I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't feel like this-"
"Are you stupid, mophead.. Why are you sorry." she paused, looking down embarrassed, about to cry, and mumbled "I've felt the same for a long time.. I never expected you actually felt the same."
Einstein sat there, unsure of what to say. "What does this mean then.."
".. I don't know."
"Well.." standing up she walked to Tesla and held her hand out, awkwardly. ".. Will you be my girlfriend, Tes?"
Tesla hesitated before reaching out for her hand, "And you say I'm bad at social interactions.. Here you are making things awkward."
"This is different, you can't even order at a drive through without becoming an awkward mess."
"I hate you."
Einstein chuckled, "So is that a yes?"
"Yes."
The girl bent over and kissed the other on her forehead, before letting go and standing back up. "Go get ready for bed, we should've been asleep over an hour ago. I'm tired." She said casually.
“You’re the reason we’re still up. You better let me sleep in tomorrow.”
“Not a chance, we already had plans remember.” She teased, tapping her nose, “You promised me you’d let me drag you out of the lab and go look at the museums tomorrow.”
“Is it too late to break up.” Tesla said smiling and rolling her eyes.
“You’re not getting rid of me that easily, Tes.”

December 15th, 19XX
Although I ultimately regret how everything happened, I am glad it happened. We're happier than we've been in years, and it shows. Life seems brighter than before.
Joachim is scared that we've lost our sanity. While he is partially correct, I'm more likely to believe Tesla's excitement and joy has scared him. We haven't mentioned it to him or anyone else as of now. We won't hide it, but it doesn't matter to us whether or not people know.
I don't know what the future holds, what I do know is that we'll get through whatever it has in store for us.

Thank you for the asks, Pixie! <3
Constellation Writing Asks
~
Apus - What’s the hardest part about writing for you?
Figuring out all the nuts and bolts. I'm great at coming up with ideas, but sitting down and figuring out how to make the ideas work in a cohesive fashion is hard.

I don't mind having people to bounce ideas off of, but I'm pretty protective of my writing, so I don't know how well I'd do collabing on something original.
Virgo - Describe your favorite tropes.
Friends to Lovers: I love a good romance, but more than that, I like the people involved to actually like each other. It's a lot of fun watching people who are good friends start to realize they're becoming More Than Friends (tm).
Deadly Game: I like seeing a bunch of people play games where a bunch of bodies hit the floor. It's fun.
Slow Burn: Similar to Friends to Lovers, I like watching slow, drawn out romance. I tend to squint really hard when people fall in love quickly. I need that drawn out simmer, ya know?
Fate Worse Than Death: Death is easy. I live for the suffering that comes from living.

Opening for Demons, written in 2014:
On September 23 at 3:34 pm, Nicole Bradley stepped off the school bus, walked up the path to her front door, and entered Hell. The shoes, once arranged perfectly on a shelf to the left of the door, now scattered along the hall leading to the kitchen. The carpet on the stairs, torn and stained. Pictures and mirrors once on the wall, shattered. And over all of this lay a horrid stench, smelling of copper and death.
Nicole's stomach turned over as she dropped her backpack. She looked around, biting her lip to keep quiet. The school bus had already left her block and the neighbors were off in Tahiti. Taking a deep breath, Nicole gathered her courage and stepped inside. “Mom?” she whispered. “Are you ok?”
No one responded. Nicole continued down the hall, wincing as glass shards crunched under her shoes. The coppery smell grew stronger as she approached the kitchen. Her stomach lurched. Her vision swam. By the time she reached the doorway, her hand was clamped on her nose, pinching her nostrils shut. “Mom?” she called again, her voice trembling.

Opening for Eternity, written in 2022:
In Eternity, the Sun and the Moon hang in the blood-red sky without setting. The Sun, after rising several millennia ago, sits above the towering skyscrapers and dark mountains, waves of heat conjuring steam from the ground. The Moon in turn casts crimson shadows, never waxing or waning, giving the citizens a mote of reprieve from the eternal heat.
The city itself is vast. If one were to stand in its center and look in any direction, one would not be able to see the border as the buildings and roads stretched beyond the horizon. As its name suggests, the city seems to go on and on for eternity.
But of course, it does have an end. Beyond the edges of Eternity sit the gates to the Afterlives. Valhalla. The Asphodel Meadows. Heaven and Hell. Each sits in a ring, guarded by angels and demons alike as wayward souls make their way to their final destinations, and protects the central hub, the city itself.
~
Not gonna lie, I see some weaknesses in my old writing, but this makes me want to go back and revisit Demons. (The first draft was completed in 2014, so I'd be able to revise it pretty well at this point I think)

sleepy dragon!mai as yet another excuse just to draw a dragon
[image description: a sketch of a dragon. she is laying down and facing to the left, her mouth open in a big yawn. her wings are lifted slightly and have very large hooked talons on the elbows. her tail curls around to the foreground of the drawing, and the end of it is shaped like one of Mai's daggers. the word "YAWN" is written by the open mouth, with my signature between the head and the wings. end id.]

i rewatched american vandal and the ending killed me all over again.
most the content on this site is about how gay the main boys are (which, valid) but I am an old crusty lady and am more interested in the adults and all the ways they failed their students.
ms. shapiro, mr. katz, and mr rafferty are all awful teachers. i love how we never find out the exact dialogue exchanged between rafferty and christa, but any marginalized person watching knew exactly what was happening. Christa tries out for football kicker. Mr Rafferty, mad about her being outspoken and "ruining" one of his games, has her run a hit drill. He says something to her while she's lying on the ground. A complaint is filed against him the same day. Six months later, the issue is resolved. Two days later Rafferty wins a teacher of the year award.
Christa's face when Peter is laying it all out. God. I wanted to burn it all down for her.
Ms. shapiro is great villain: a lot of us have had this teacher. now that i work in education I worry about being this person. At the end, when she gave that backhanded apology to Dylan: the way she's set herself as this godlike judge, there's something very important in having this portrayal. I had a choir teacher tell me I was going to hell. Sometimes I'd walk into class and he'd just send me immediately to the office. I stayed in choir for years, to spite him, but the admin never backed me up, nothing ever happened to him, and he got to retire. Tons of other students loved him. However, in my english class, where I was beloved by my teachers, I got away with hitting another student in the face with a book. Probably cause I was female and cried. It's all so subjective and can have huge consequences.
Dylan's mom has this speech where she describes how, when she took him to the ocean for the first time, he kept running into the waves. She figured he'd get knocked down, learn his lesson, and stop. But he kept charging into the waves, laughing.
I think of Dylan drawing those dicks and I think of my real life students: one who keeps shouting "who farted?" and one who eats his behavior charts because he's sick of getting checked at every class. Its scary, to feel this desire to control and make others submit, because please please please stop it, I'm supposed to be the adult but you are so fucking annoying. American Vandal includes a lot of Dylan's shitty behavior: sexually harassing students, racism, that obnoxious coughing. Its so hard to be a good teacher all the time, but you have to be.
Dylan painting a dick on shapiro's driveway had me crying. The bookended narration, Dylan's inability to describe himself in the beginning juxtaposed with him calling himself a fuck-up at the end, I can't stand it. I have been crying so hard my face has salt on it.
plus dick jokes are funny. i love juxtaposition between intense social issues and a discussion about ball hair

Mitsuya, a successful rookie designer and his stunning model girlfriend clash heads when his beloved wishes to wear a dress from another designer to boost her credibility as a model. Her boyfriend wasn't happy with her decision in the least bit.
Author note; I've been sitting on this for a while, it randomly came to me when I was day dreaming in things that would piss Mitsuya off. For some reason I love making guys mad ✊🏿

Mitsuya, ever since he was younger wanted to become a fashion designer and in the face of all adversity he successed. He never complained about living situation, about never having time for himself, nor how he grew up too fast. How he was never able to just be a kid, he faced his problems head on and worked towards his dreams through it all.
He was an inspiration to everyone around him, his sisters, friends, and you.
Y/n Kataga, you met him during your third year of highschool. Your family had just moved to Japan due to a travel assignment your mom accepted. You had been adjusting to your new life in Japan, trying to figure out where things were, what's what. You were trying your best to adapt to the change, for your mom's sake. Lord knows how stress she has been, going through a divorce, raising 4 kids seemingly on her own. You wanted to help her out, even if it was just a little bit.
Your mother has been working so hard that she hasn't been able to explore Japan, going to work and straight home. It's been a few months since you moved to Japan, still being on summer break you didn't have to worry about school just yet. You made your brothers breakfast, cleaned the house, and set out to explore the city.
That's when you came across two little girls crying at the park, you went to see what was the matter with them. At first they were weary of you.
"N-Nii-san said not to talk to strangers..." The older one spoke up.
"Well, I'm a nice stranger who doesn't like seeing such pretty little girls cry. I just wanna help hm?" You spoke in your softest tone to gain the trust of the little girls.
They were still cautious of you but something told them they could trust you, they told you their names. Mana and Luna. They were absolutely adorable, you held the youngest one in your arm while holding the hand of the older one.
"So, what's does your big brother look like?" You asked the girls while walking around the block to see if you could find him, realizing without a description it would be a lot harder to spot him.
"Like a prince!" The little one cheered joyfully. You could only laugh at how she admired her older brother.
"Ey? Is that so?" You looked down at the older sister, she nodded aggressively agreeing with.
"Well, we can't just say we're looking for a prince can we? Any distinctive things about him?"
"Oh oh! He has purple hair!" Mana recalled.
"And he has piercings." Luna interjected, putting a finger to her chin thinking about other things that would help describe her brother, "and he's really tall!" She finished.
"So purple hair, tall, and piercings, got it." You repeated their description of their brother wondering just what type of person he really was. He seemed interesting in the least bit.
The morning sun slowly began to set as you and the girls walked around looking for this boy. You lot went in and out of stores asking around trying to find this mystery brother, you began to think that he left off without them. What a dick.
As the evening sun began to roll in the little girls grew tired, as did you. In the end you all ended up back at the park sitting on the bench with the girls crying themselves to sleep while laying on your lap fearful for what would happen to them.
You caressed their hair trying to comfort them as beads of tears landed onto your pants. Maybe you should file a missing children's report, you zoned out as you tried to think of ways to bring these children back to their parents or brother.
"Mana! Luna!" A gruff voice called out, through the corner of your eye you could see a tall boy running through the streets calling the names of the little girls now sleeping in your lap.
"O-over here!" You yelled waving your hands like a mad man to signal the young man. You caught his attention. He began to run over to the park. As he got closer you could see him, his piercings, the purple hair.. The way his skin looked in the evening light, he really did look like a prince.
"Mana, Luna, look it's your big brother." You softly shook the girls awake.
"Nii-san?" Luna muttered wiping the sleep from her eyes, she looked up and saw her brother standing running towards them.
"NII-SAN!" She shouted, almost tripping trying to get out of your lap she ran up to him hugging his legs.
"Nii-san, nii-san, nii-san." She chanted it like a mantra, "was so scared, thought you left us!" She cried out holding onto his legs as her tears fell.
"I would never leave you guys, never." He comforted her, bending down to her height enclosing her in tight hug. You watched this sentimental moment with a soft smiled curled on your lips.
"Mana, look." You whispered softly. She opened her eyes and saw her brother hugging her older sister.
"Nii-chan!!!" She exclaimed running to him hugging him tightly.
You got up from the bench, dusting yourself off. You looked at the girls and they seemed okay, it was time for you to head home. You turned the opposite way and began to walk off.
"W-Wait!" The boy called out. You hummed in question, turning around to face him. The boy gets up bringing his sisters with him.
"Mana tells me you looked all around the city with them to find me... Thank you." He says gratefully, he bows his head forcing his sisters' heads down in the process with his hands.
"I-its okay! Please lift your heads, seriously!" You stutter out, you lock your hands together behind your back feeling shy all of the sudden, "It wasn't a big deal, they were really sweet." You smiled. They lifted their hands, Mana and Luna locked hands with their older brother watching you with their beady eyes.
"They seem to really like you, they normally aren't so accepting of people." He confessed with a chuckle.
"Maybe I'm special." You smugly say.
"I'd say... Takes a different type of person to spend all day with kids you don't know, just go make sure they get home..." He pauses locking eyes with you, "you're amazing."
He's so genuine every word was spoken with respect and appreciation, you never seen this before in a guy. Not a hint of sarcasm, nothing. Just pure. You felt your face heat up as you locked eyes, you quickly averted your eyes turning your body the opposite direction.
"W-Well, I'm just happy they found you." You stuttered out once again, you covered your face with your hands feeling the heat seep through. How embarrassing. You suddenly shook as your pocket began to vibrate.
"Oh shit!" You closed your mouth, "I mean, oh crud...." You look back at the little girls hoping they didn't catch that. "I, I have to go!" You looked at your phone realizing you had over 60 messages and 9 missed calls from your mother. You began to run off waving goodbye before disappearing into the evening sun. You didn't even catch the young boy asking for your name.
When you made it home, you got yelled at for what seemed like hours. Your mother took your phone and any freedom you thought you had. It was fine though, at least those girls made it home, you didn't have to worry, yet they were still occupying your mind.
Much less they and more like, him. He was running through your mind, over and over you replayed your interaction feeling more and more embarrassed everytime you think about what you did. You felt your heart beat faster when you hear him repeat the words, "you're amazing".
You didn't think you'd see him again, but you did. It was spring, the flowers were blooming, bees were buzzing, birds chirping, sun shining as beautifully as ever and the only thing you could think about was that boy. You didn't even get his name. It's crazy how much a first impression will impact you. You wondered if he went to the same school as you, actually, you hoped so, but that would be too much of a coincidence, it will start to seem like you guys were.... Soulmates. You couldn't help but squeal at the idea, how perfect would your life be.
"Snap out of it!" You slapped your face as you stood outside your classroom, you took in deep breaths trying to calm yourself down. Your first class of the day, go in, make good impressions and you'll be able to make friends. You hoped, you prayed you didn't say anything too embarrassing.
The first introduction went smoothly, despite stuttering a couple of times. You even got a few numbers from some girls in the class who liked the way you did your hair. Things were going great, only, your dream boy wasn't here. Why would he be? Stop being so hopeful for things that will never happen.
You made your way to the home economics club making a delivery for your teacher who was too busy grading papers to make the delivery himself. You had no problem doing it, it was lunch break and you had nothing better to do after all. Maybe you could make some more friends, plus side you could check out the club and see if it's something you want to do. After all, you always wanted to be a model, might as well see what this club is like.
You carried boxes that were twice your height but quite light despite the size of them. You could barely see the door but you could see the class number. Now onto the problem you now have, how to open the door, you held the boxes with both of your hands. If you even move one hand it will all come toppling down. Then comes, the bright idea. You stood there trying to open the door with your foot, trying your hardest not to fall over due to lack of balance.
You should've taken those yoga classes with your mom! Curses.
It wasn't long till the door opened up, your ears perked hearing the sound.
"Wow, you're carrying a lot, you could've called out I would've came sooner." You heard a soft voice speak out, it was smooth like honey yet deep. Whoever this voice belonged to was blessed.
"Sorry! I didn't want to disturb anyone....." You mutter softly.
"Come on in, let me help you." He spoke reaching to grab some of your boxes.
"Nu-huh, I got it!" You chirped back, you heard him laugh softly as you felt his hand touch your back as he guided you into the room, his touch oh-so soft. Normally you would feel uncomfortable with this but with him, it felt okay. Felt nice actually.
You swatted these thoughts following the guide of his hand.
"You can set them here." He stated talking half of your boxes setting them down on the table.
"Hey, I said I had-" Finally you could see, and thank god you could. You locked eyes with your prince. The boy from the park. Both of your eyes widened as it hit you guys.
"You're the guy from the park!"
"You're the girl from the park!"
You both yelled out, you could only laugh at accusations you yelled at the same time.
"Wow, who knew we'd end up in the same school?" Talk about fate." He smiled.
His smile was so bright, just like that day you met. He hasn't changed. He's so pretty....
"Y-Yeah, fate.." You cursed yourself for the person you became when you were around him, your voice felt soft and weak. Your face constantly felt hot, your heart beating out of your chest. Was it...
Love at first sight?
"You know, I never caught your name." He speaks out trying to lightening the mood after seeing your awkward disposition, slightly fidgeting your fingers, twirling the heel of your foot.
"Right! I never caught yours either, I'm Y/n Kataga!" You replied cheerfully with a huge smile that blinded him. He held his hand out to shake yours,
"Takashi Mitsuya, pleasure to meet you Y/n." He smiled back, you looked at his hand and shook it.
That was the start of something bigger than the both of you. You both became close very quickly, bonding over your love of fashion and modeling. He introduced you to his friends, mother, re-introducing you to his sisters, officially. They were so happy to see you again, soon enough you guys were like a small family.
You learned all about him through stories from Chifuyu and Draken, you knew about Toman and his past gang life, how he raised his sisters, you knew all of it. You felt special, even though you weren't present during that time, you felt as if you were there with him. It was perfect and you would cherish these stories forever.
Mitsuya learned everything about you, much less from asking and more by observing. He learned how stressed you'd get when meeting new people, how you bit your lip while concentrating, how you fidget your fingers and advert your eyes in the cutest way when you were feeling shy. He learned it all. He loved learning more about you, you were like a book he couldn't put down. You, Y/n had him completely obsessed, wrapping around your perfect little finger.
One day you told him about how you wanted to be a model, then and there he proposed you model for him and only him. He'd make you beautiful clothes that match your style and you wear them for him.
Of course you agreed, his designs are gorgeous. He's really talented, and now you had an excuse to be around him more. Not like you needed one, all it took was one text and he would be running to you, wherever you were.
Fourth year of highschool, final year, Mitsuya was going to the College of Designs and you had a job opportunity to work under famous models. You were separating, and only after a year of being together. You haven't even confessed yet. To be honest you didn't even know if you should, what if you ruined what you had. You didn't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship, but you wanted to be more than friends. You wanted more than hugs when he dropped you off, you needed more than your hand gently brushing against his. You deserved more than unnoticed glances at him when he was too busy making designs to notice your stares.
But he did, he noticed it all. He knew, kind of. He had a suspicion, after all Hina was whispering things to him about you and your little secret crush. It came out a few months back that you liked this guy but refused to say who he was. You only gave vague details about him, but in those details he saw himself, maybe he was being overzealous but he prayed it was him you liked and not some other guy. Only he could treat you like the princess you were, you were his since the day he met you.
"Y/n, wanna go to the park?" He asked pointing to the small park across the street.
"That's...." You said as you walked towards the park. You glided your finger against the slide where you first found Mana and Luna crying their eyes out.
You made your way over to the swing where you sat down softly smiling at the memories. When you first fell in love.
"Yeah, where we first met." Mitsuya smiled sat the memory, he walked behind you. Taking your hands and placing them on the chains holding the swing up. You got used to these soft touches, you hated them. They were the touches that could lead to more but never did, you despised them but took whatever you could get. You were greedy, you couldn't help it. Mitsuya began pushing you on the swing, comfortable silence fell over the two of you, you felt the wind softly brush against your face as he pushed you at just the right pace, the night moon looking more beautiful than it has before, maybe it's because you're with him.
"You were cute back then." Mitsuya spoke up.
"What? Saying I'm not cute now?" You scoff at his claim. Feigning to be hurt.
"Not what I'm saying." He rolled his eyes, you were his little drama queen.
"Then what are you saying Mr. Takashi Mitsuya?" You asked looking behind you to lock eyes with the man pushing you. He had that look in his eyes, the one he has when he's sketching clothes or working on bringing his design to life, the eyes of complete concentration and admiration. He leaned down, holding either of your eyes with his own bracing himself. He locked his lips with yours without a single word, not even a warning. His lips were slightly cracked yet soft. The kiss was one that told you everything.
"I've always loved you."
Since that day, it was official. You were his and he was yours. You were a picture perfect relationship, arguments were rare with him, he was kind, considerate, supportive. He was just perfect. You took each others' firsts and planned on taking everything from each other till their was nothing left.
Like said before, arguments were rare. Only sparking when Mitsuya wasn't talking care of himself like he should have been to finish a project, or you put yourself at risk for your career.
Arguments weren't a thing with you two, but when it happened, they were heated and here you two are, present day. Hashing it out.
"And I'm telling you I can protect myself!" You shouted at your lover who had his arms crossed peering at you over the kitchen counter.
"It doesn't matter if you can protect yourself or not, he's dangerous." He spat back completely ignoring your statement.
"He's not dangerous, he's an awkward kid trying to get his product out there," you groaned frustrated at your lover, "you know what that's like..." You mumble.
"Yeah, I do, but at least I wasn't shady." He gruffed, rolling his eyes.
"Mitsuya! He's not shady. Ugh!" You exclaimed throwing your hands in the air.
"You're in denial. You're not doing it. Period." He said the turning around no longer facing you, diverting his attention to the food on the stove.
"You don't tell me what I can and can not do." You pettily said walking out of the room and into your own slamming the door. You plopped onto your bed screaming into your pillow. Pissed at how stubborn he could be. You laid face first into the pillow not moving, until you got a ding on your phone. It was a text, you lifted your head to check your phone.
Aykoyama
"This Monday, 8am? How does that sound? 🙂"
Aykoyama, a new designer, you met him on a photoshoot and exchanged numbers. Normally you wouldn't model for anyone other than Mitsuya but you figured once wouldn't hurt. Besides, you need to build your clientele as a model, you would want him to branch out with different models as well. It's for work, nothing more.
Y/n
I'm sorry, I don't think I can anymore-
"You don't tell me what I can and can not do"
'Fuck you Mitsuya' you thought, time to build your clientele you smiled softly to yourself.
Y/n
Sounds great! Can't wait to see what you have in stored!! 😁
You know you didn't do anything wrong, it's not like you cheated on Mitsuya or anything, yet... Why do you feel so shitty.
You curled up in bed feeling as if you burned down an orphanage, the guilt was killing you.
Over the course of the week you and Mitsuya haven't been talking. You both went to work, lived your life as if the other person didn't exist. It was more you holding a grudge and Mitsuya giving you your space. He'd simply sigh when you would leave the room after he'd enter it, or how you would sleep on the couch to stay away from him.
Slowly it started to piss him off, who the hell said you could ignore him? He's just worried about you. You'll get over it, he'll apologize and you'll say sorry back. Soon you'll be in his arms again waiting for your daily kisses. Like normal.
Yet that time didn't come, what did come was the event. You left the house earlier than excepted, earlier than Mitsuya ever woke up.
He woke up to an empty bed, which has been this week's normal, he checked the time on his phone, 12:50 pm, he slept pretty late today.
No matter, it was his off day. He yawned with a stretch, pushing himself off the bed to check to couch and you weren't there. Matter of fact, there was no sign that you even slept there.
The house was void of all signs of life besides the small signs of his existence that he left laying around the house. He checked his phone to see if you left any message yet you haven't. Now he's worried. He sighs and texts your manager, Polly.
Boss's hubby
Have you seen Y/n?
Read 1:03 pm
"What the hell?" He mumbled to himself running his free hand through his hair.
Boss's hubby
Polly?
Wifey's manager
Sorry! I was busy doing Y/n hair! But she's here with me, we're getting ready for the Gala tonight, you should come 🤧
Boss's hubby
Gala?
Wifey's manager
She didn't tell you? She must've forgot, silly her. Shes helping Mr. Aykoyama With his debut today at tonight's Gala!
He couldn't believe it, you deliberately hide the fact that you were still working with him after he told you not to. It's safe to say he was livid, which is rare. Mitsuya is a calm man, after raising two little girls he had to be, you were one of the only people who knew how to push his buttons and do it correctly.
Boss's hubby
She must've, send me the address and the best time to arrive
Wifey's manager
Of course! The theme is "Golden shine" here's the address;
Read 1:20 pm
The time read 6:30 pm, just five minutes before the red carpet walk, you were sweating buckets. The event was fairly small but had a lot of big faces there in the modeling and designing industry. You couldn't help but be hit with a huge wave of guilt when you thought about what you're doing.
You snuck behind his back to go to a Gala, with another man, after he told you not to. Maybe you did it out of spite or you wanted to prove something but this looks bad all the way around. You're even wearing someone else's dress, you promised. You promised to only wear his clothes.. But you can't deny, the kid has talent. You look breath taking and Polly did a stunning job on your hair and makeup.
Your hair was put into a low bun with a deep side part. Your makeup was light but effective, you had soft red lips with a neutral soft glam brown and yellow look that complimented your eyes perfectly, and the dress.... Lord.
The way it framed your body, showing off each all your curves, the way it instantly perked up your breasts, cupping them like a corset would. It was a great dress but, it wasn't Mitsuya's. As you wore the dress you didn't feel that rush of excitement that you felt when you wore your lover's clothes. You felt tainted wearing this, it made you want to rip it off your body, but this is your job. This is what you signed up for as a model. You can't back out...
"Carpet time in minus 5 minutes!" One of the crew members shouted into the changing room for the models and other crew members to hear.
"You ready?" Polly asked popping up behind you out of nowhere, scaring the hell out of you causing you to shake.
"Didn't mean to scare ya. Nerves?" She questions holding your hand to try and comfort you.
"Yeah... First time doing this." You muttered staring down at the floor feeling almost lightheaded.
"Don't worry, you'll do great." She cheers you on, "Besides, I invited your fiance so you don't have to worry." She smiles giving you the finger heart sign, clearly proud of what she did.
"You did what!?" You shouted softly gripping her shoulders, "Why did you do that?"
"Because he should be here to support you? Is everything okay?" She asks now worried looking at your form.
"Carpet time people, let's go!" The same crew member shouted. The models get up making their way to the door.
"You too Y/n!" The crew member calls you out after not moving. Polly pushes you wishing you a good luck to the door.
You had to calm down, you had to do well. You have to do well not only for yourself but for Mr. Aykoyama. You can't let your personal life get in the way of your work, you're a professional Y/n. Act like it.
You are one of the last people to get on stage, you grab your umbrella prop and begin to sway your hips as you walked down the stage. You looked over to the side to meet eyes with the patrons there, you meet eyes with a happy Mr. Aykoyama who's giving you thumbs up and a not so happy Mitsuya who's leaning forward in his seat, his elbows on either side of his knees with his hands clenched together.
He just watches you, stares you down, your every move, the sway of your hip, the way you averted your eyes when you saw him.
You met the end of the stage and did put a hand on your hip, the other hand pulling the umbrella back giving the lookers a closer, more clearer view of the dress that was on your body. You tried you best to be professional, to focus on your job, but the way Mitsuya glared at you, you could feel your core heating up. You were honestly terrified.
You spun on your heels turning around to leave the stage as the onlookers clapped cheering your name. Mitsuya didn't move a muscle, he just flashed a tight close eyed smile your way.
You're fucked.
The event couldn't seem to go any slower, Mitsuya was standing behind you with his hand on your back gripping your waist shining a soft smile towards the fellow designers there. He hasn't said a single word, just holding a death grip on your waist as you socialize with the people there.
"Y/n! You were amazing out there!" Mr. Aykoyama cheered running up to you, he had a glisten in his eyes, his smile was so wide.
"It was all thanks to your design, it's stunning." You said returning his smile.
"No-no, I can't take all the credit... The way you strutted down the runway with grace and ease, everybody was enchanted by you.." He scans your body blatantly ignoring your lover's presence.
"She is beautiful isn't she?" Mitsuya interjects, holding his hand out towards the younger man standing in front of him, "Takashi Mitsuya, senior designer." He introduced himself with a smile that seems genuine at first glance yet his filled with annoyance and slight anger. It's a smile that could kill a man.
Mitsuya has mastered the art of passive aggressiveness, especially working in the fashion department, he had to learn or he would be eaten alive.
"A-ah, yes! I'm Aykoyama Lin!" He shakes his hand. The young man winces at the grip your fiance had on his hand, "Firm grip! My father would love you." He laughed and Mitsuya joined only entertaining his bullshit until the event was over.
"Thank you for giving my beloved fiance here the opportunity to work with you. However, she must politely decline any future work with you." Mitsuya pulls you by your waist closer to him, you could only blush looking down at the ground.
"Excuse me?" He glared at Mitsuya, "Whatever do you mean?"
"Ah, well, there's no reason for her to work with you any further, after all...." He pauses, "She has me." He gruffed out, "Now if you'll excuse us, my princess seems to feel sick. We'll return the dress immediately."
"No, no, that's not necessary, she can keep it!" He beamed. Mitsuya just flared at him, taking his anger out on your already bruised hips, tightening his grip on your waist.
Mitsuya said nothing else, he turned around and guided you out the building. He walked you to the car garage. He swiftly pushed you against a random wall in the parking garage, pushing you by your hips. Smashing his lips against yours, taking your breath from your mouth with his own, the grip on your waist lightened up but was soon taken over by the same pressure being around your neck. You gasped into the kiss as you felt his hand ring around your neck. His tongue pushed further into your mouth exploring your mouth, swirling his tongue with your own.
He applied more pressure to your neck as he deepened the kiss. You both pulled away to gain air, your chests heaving trying to pull oxygen back into your body.
"S-Suya—" You moaned out.
"Take it off." He gruffed out of breath.
"What?" You questioned him, looking baffled.
"You heard me, take the dress off. I'm not fucking you with another man's design on you." He spat. You must've been taking too long, Mitsuya span you around making your back face him, he unzipped the dress, gently removing your arms from the sleeves before pulling it down.
There you stood, practically naked in a parking garage, you thanked the stars that you left early, it seemed to be only the two of you. You felt the cold air hit you like a tidal wave, goosebumps covered your body as you wrapped our arms around your most delicate places.
How shameful, you should be ashamed. Embarrassed, disgusted, yet there was a pooling in your panties that said otherwise, Mitsuya was never aggressive with you, he treated you like a precious China set, something to be protected. Now you felt like nothing more than a cheapened slut.
"Such a slutty little thing, you didn't wear a bra?" He whispered into your ear, licking your neck before biting it, leaving small bruises. You felt Mitsuya cup your breast from behind, massaging your nipples in between his fingers, the cold air aided in making them hard under his touch.
"W-Was told not to— Ah." Moaning out as he caressed your breasts and biting your neck.
"You're enjoying this hm? Being violated in a parking lot, here I thought you enjoyed being pampered..." He ranted on, "Being treated like a princess, if you wanted to be treated like a cock hungry slut you should've just said that." He cooed, leaving a trail of kisses on your shoulder.
"Don't wanna be treated like a slut.. Suya." You mumbled, feeling his hot breath against your shoulder, his gentle kisses, knowing this was the last time tonight that he would be this kind.
He turned you around, taking his suit jacket off and wrapping it around your shoulders, buttoning just the middle of the jacket.
"Wouldn't want you to catch a cold before I finished with you."
Your body felt hot, hotter than ever. Your panties getting wetter by the minute. He walked you to his car with his hand back on it's designated place, your hips. Digging into his right pocket with his free hand to grab his car keys. He unlocked the car door, opening the passenger side for you. He tossed you in the seat, muttering a buckle up before closing the door and getting in himself.
As soon as he got into his seat, he grabbed you by your hair, pushing your face towards his own, locking his lips with yours once again. He licked your lips with your tongue signalling you to open your mouth further. Moaning into the kiss as Mitsuya made his way to your wet panties.
"Soaking are we?" He chuckled into the kiss, pushing your panties to the side prodding his finger at your entrance. You struggled to kiss him back as his finger pushed passed your tight entrance, moving at a gentle pace, hitting all the right places. You moaned louder as you felt his finger curl inside you hitting your G-spot ever so softly with the tip of his finger.
"I've barely done anything to you doll... You can last longer than that can't you?"
He pushed another finger past your entrance, scissoring them together inside of you. You gripped his hair trying your best to continue the pace of the kiss but struggling as he was teasing your hole. You broke the kiss,
"Suya! R-Right there—" You moaned as he moved his fingers in and out, pushing them against your G-spot just before taking them out all to do it again, inching you towards your orgasm,
"M'gonna cum Suya~" You purred out. Arching your back wanting to feel more of his fingers. "Close, m'so close...."
Just before you were able to have your high he pulled out, before you could protest he shoved his fingers in your mouth muffling you.
"You thought it was gonna be easy? Hm? Whoring yourself out to another designer, going behind my back? What makes you think you should cum?"
He shoves his fingers down your throat forcing you to gag on his slender digits.
"Bad girls like you should be punished, not rewarded." He pulls his fingers from your throat watching you cough catching air, he pulls your face towards his once more before, forcing your mouth open with his thumb before spitting in your mouth.
"Swallow." With that you struggled to gulp down his saliva, yet you did, with the bob of your throat you swallowed what he gave you. Opening your mouth and sticking your tongue out to show him that you swallowed it all, hoping he'd praise you.
"What? Wanna be praised for doing the bare minimum? You're gonna have to do a lot more than that. Now spread your legs."
You opened your legs further allowing him a full view of your soaking area, he brushed his hand past your clit, only to reach into his glove compartment. He pulled out a small pink bullet vibrator, he looked at you with a closed eye smile. He teasingly poked your entrance with the toy, nudging you with just the tip. You let out a soft hum of pleasure as the vibrator brushed across you.
You were so aroused you couldn't handle it, you just wanted him to fuck you, pin you down and use you however he wanted to. Your walls clenched at the thought of being his ragdoll.
"What are you dousing off for?" He scoffed in annoyance before pushing the vibrator in, "You better not make a mess in my car. If you go the entire ride without cumming, I'll fuck you. If not, you'll go to sleep without feeling my cock inside this slutty pussy of yours."
"T-Thats just mean Suya—" Being cut off by the vibrator turning on, feeling it deep in your core. The pleasure was immense, it felt so good, so deep inside of you. You bit your finger muffling your moans, not wanting to show Mitsuya how good it felt. You couldn't cum yet.
"What? Gonna cum already?" He cooed rubbing your clit with his fingers, whispering against your neck, peppering you with small kisses. "You can do it, go ahead princess, cum." He encouraged you, he wanted you to suffer. He was pissed despite how sweet he cooed at you.
"D-Dont wanna! Wanna cum on your cock Suya!" Your back arched as he picked up the pace on your sensitive nub.
"Yeah? Wanna cum all over my cock? Wanna feel it deep inside you?"
"Yes Suya, m'wanna feel you inside, only you."
He moved his face away from your neck, the movement on your clit stopped.
"Then you better not cum before we get home."
The drive home was long and excruciating. Mitsuya purposely grazed your clit or breasts to amplify your pleasure, trying to get you to lose yourself and have an orgasm. You were fighting it so hard.
The car was filled with your soft moans and whispers, you chanted his name begging him to turn down the vibrator, it was too much. You couldn't handle it, he only replied telling you,
"If you want my cock then you'll be a good girl and hold it in."
And so you did. He purposely took the long way home, followed and obeyed every traffic law to the T. He even had the audacity to make a pit stop to get some more fabric while he made you wait in the car.
You couldn't help but cry as you forcefully help in your upcoming orgasm. Tears ran down your face, Mitsuya cooed at you caressing your face kissing your tears away. You were doing good, you were doing well, so well. You watched as Mitsuya pulled into your driveway feeling great relief.
Your relief was brief, as he parked in the driveway you felt his fingers push the vibrator further into you.
You arched your back, letting out a loud moan in response.
He had that look in his eyes. His orbs were focused on you entirely, watching your every facial expression. The way your eyebrows furrowed together, your mouth agape, the way you put your fingers to your lips trying to muffle your own moans.
He selfishly captured your lips in a kiss once again, sucking on your tongue, exploring your mouth as if he's never tasted you before. His free hand turned up the power of the vibrator.
"Suya— too much! I don't wanna-" You panicked at the rush of pleasure.
"Then don't."
You couldn't help it, you were doing so well, so well... All of those efforts gone as you released onto the vibrator, your juices dripping out of you as you closed your legs tightly letting out a prolonged moan, coming to your release.
Mitsuya clicked his tongue as he watched you come undone on the vibrator. Your chest heaving up and down as you tried to catch your breath after having such an intense orgasm.
"N-No, unfair! Suya, please." You pleaded gripping his dress shirt,
"How unfortunate, we just made it home too.." He sighed, looking down at his hardened cock confined in his dress pants. Bringing your shaky hand to feel his cock through his pants,
"It was all ready for you too, at least you got to cum hm?" He smiled, before helping you get out of the car and bringing you inside the house, placing you on the couch. He undoes his tie and kicks off his shoes, leaving you a broken mess on the couch.
"I'm going to shower first okay?" He chirps as kissing your forehead before leaving.
"Suya please!" You cried out, "M'sorry, m'so sorry" You begged as he walked off,
"Princess, don't be a brat. You knew the deal, you agreed to it."
"Please don't leave me like this, I— need you..." You walked up to him pressing your breast against his back, "Need you so bad.."
He hummed in response,
"Now why should I? Last time I checked, I told you not to work with Mr. Aykoyama didn't I? You didn't listen, you wanted to do your own thing, surely you can cum on your own." He smiled as he faced you. That same smile he has plastered on his face all night, the one that says he's pissed but not showing it.
"You even went as far as ignoring me, sneaking behind my back.." He trails off, wrapping his hand around your throat, "Why should I do anything for you?"
"... Y-Youre right, Suya, I was being stubborn, I didn't listen like I should have... M'sorry, it won't happen again." You cried out, coming down to your knees slowly rubbing his entrapped cock with your hand. "Never again, will be your good girl." You promised as you undid his belt buckle, working your way to his zipper. "I love you Suya... Love you so much."
"You want it so bad? Do it yourself." He spat while watching you pull down his pants, he unbuttoned his shirt to get more comfortable, you were still in his suit jacket before telling you to take it off.
And you did, along with your panties.
You kissed his pelvis making your way down to the hem of his underwear, the final layer before meeting with his harden cock. Despite being angry he could never say no to your pretty mouth, his cock always told you want he truly wanted even if his mouth didn't.
You pulled down the final layer, his cock sprung out gently hitting your face. You stared at it like it was the greatest thing in the world. Your eyes sparkled as you saw it, you began kissing it from the hilt up to the tip.
Even his cock looked angry, pale base color with light blue veins pulsating against your lips.

part one | part two | part three | part five | masterlist | wattpad
Tumblr media
Dinner with the Maximoffs wasn't as strange as I envisioned. Her parents were sweet and the twins did their best to make me feel comfortable. Wanda still seemed mildly frustrated whenever Pietro and I would talk though, and I figured she may have thought I was lying when I told her I didn't like him like that. I hoped that wasn't the case.
After dinner, Wanda took me upstairs to show me her bedroom. I'm not sure how to describe it other than it seemed so Wanda.
"I'm guessing red is your favourite colour," I said when I saw the hints of scarlet in her bedroom. On her walls, in her bedding, on her pillows. Just like her car and her jacket, they were all bright and very her.
"Great observation, Sherlock," she teased with a sly smile.
I returned the smile, sticking my tongue out at her playfully, before having a walk around and coming across her massive CD collection and CD player. Her music taste was actually quite similar to mine, which I definitely didn't expect. It just made her ten times more attractive to me which wasn't good, but oh well. I was here for a good time, not a long time. And my crush on Wanda Maximoff would surely be the death of me.
"D'you have any CDs at all?" she asked, joining my side when she noticed me staring at the shelf.
I crossed my arms, glancing at her. "Don't get me wrong. I'd love to collect them, but it's just so much easier to have Spotify, y'know?"
My intention wasn't to make her laugh, but God I was glad I did when her eyes crinkled and the sound rang around the room, making my heart pinch with adoration.
After giving me some of her pyjamas, the two of us got ready and brushed our teeth before I realised she wanted me to share bed with her.
"You wanna watch some TV before bed?" she asked, clearly not registering my hesitance to slide into her Queen-sized bed.
I swallowed hard. "S-sure."
She turned on the TV at the end of her bed as I slipped in beside her, still a bit rigid as I kept a fair distance from her.
"What you feeling? Comedy? Drama? Horror?"
"Anything is fine with me," I said, still tense.
She hummed in acknowledgement before leaning down on her pile of pillows behind her, edging closer to me. My heart was hammering in my chest as her hair tickled my arm from where she was laying.
"You comfortable?" she checked in, leaning backwards so her head was upside down to see me. "I have more pillows if you need them."
I offered her a small smile, hoping it disguised my nerves. "I'm good."
She nodded before flicking through the channels and eventually settling on reruns of The Office. It took time, but I eventually overcame my initial shock of sharing bed with the girl I had a major crush on and instead relaxed, getting comfortable under the covers.
After watching some TV, we called it a night and fell asleep quite quickly, the day taking its toll on us. For once, I wasn't panicking about doing something stupid. I simply fell asleep, trying to ignore the heat she emanated from beside me.
It was a peaceful night – her bed was super comfortable – and I woke up to the sound of Wanda moving about in her bedroom.
"Shoot, I'm sorry, did I wake you?" she asked when she saw me moving about under the blankets. I tried to blink away the sleep as she continued, "I was gonna wake you soon. School starts in an hour."
I rubbed my eyes, yawning, before sitting up and seeing she was practically already dressed. That meant she would have been up for a while, meaning she would have seen me fast asleep. God, I hated when people saw me sleeping. It always felt so weird.
"It's okay," I got out tiredly, before running a hand through my hair.
"You sleep well?" she asked, spinning around in her chair, her makeup half done. "I tried my very best not to use you as a teddy bear."
She was joking, but I felt my neck grow warm at the thought and damn, it was just way too early to be flustered.
"Yeah, I slept great," I settled, feeling her gaze on me. "Thanks again for having me over."
"Anytime," she said, and something told me it wasn't just a friendly response but that she actually meant it. Maybe it was the kind smile on her lips as she said so. "Just like last night, if you wanna use anything in the bathroom, go for it."
I gave her a thumbs up, taking a moment to wake myself up a little more, before heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I returned to Wanda's room, I saw she'd already made the bed and had laid my clothes on top of it.
"I've got a shirt you can borrow," she said when I grabbed my jeans.
"Oh, I can just wear the same thing again, it's no biggie," I told her, already grabbing my shirt.
She pouted before grabbing a shirt from her closet. "Just hold on. You'll love it."
In no time, she came out from her closet and held out a Paramore tee shirt on a hanger towards me.
"I got it from the last concert I went to," she explained. "I thought you'd like it."
I couldn't help but smile at the thought. "Wow, Wanda. Really? You don't mind?"
She nodded, shaking the shirt as emphasis for me to take it. I did, having a look over it and smiling to myself.
"I'll wash it and give it back to you tomorrow," I promised, taking it off the hanger and holding it with my jeans. "Thanks."
"You can keep it," she said, scratching the back of her head apprehensively. "I've got loads."
"Oh, no, I can't do that," I began to deny, but she shook her head.
"It's fine, I'm giving it to you," she said, before smiling sweetly. "I'm sure you'll look better in it anyway."
Again with the warmth spreading up my neck...
"I doubt that," I quipped with a small smile.
"Go! Go get changed," she said, already pushing me towards the door. "I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast."
I snickered, letting her shove me into the hallway, before heading into the bathroom to get ready. The shirt was oversized, so there was no need to be worried it wouldn't fit. It was actually really nice, plus I liked it that extra bit more knowing Wanda gave it to me. Though I knew I wouldn't keep it. It was hers and she was just being nice.
When I finished making myself look presentable, I headed downstairs and found the twins at the kitchen counter, chatting between themselves. Their chatter ceased when I walked in, with Wanda biting her lip and looking me up and down with satisfaction.
"I was right," was all she said, making me nervous. "You do look better in it than me."
The day after that, I did as I said I would and returned Wanda's shirt to her, washed, folded and ironed. Knowing she wouldn't accept it without a fight, I left it in her bag when she wasn't looking during class.
I should have expected her to approach me at my locker afterwards.
"It was supposed to be a gift," she said, and I saw her pretty face reflected in the mirror hung inside my locker.
I turned around, already knowing what she was talking about.
"I told you I couldn't accept," I said politely, giving her a small smile. "I appreciate it though." She seemed disappointed which obviously didn't help with my feelings for her, so I took a leap and added, "Maybe I can get my own at their next concert. In the summer, right?"
She picked up on what I meant and smiled, stifling a laugh. Running a hand through her hair, she met my gaze and I found myself frozen in place as always, unable to look away. I wondered if she knew what she was doing when she did that, knew that she was giving me heart palpitations every time her lips turned into a playful smirk and dark eyes studied me curiously.
My eyes drifted to her lips subconsciously and she must have put on some lip balm or something, prior to finding me just now, as they looked shiny and pink and just so damn kissable. Nate was one lucky guy.
Having faced issues with Nate three times now (AKA the three times he happened to launch a football at my head), I'd figured I wouldn't be seeing the last of him. He was a dick, meaning he had a natural inclination to piss people off, particularly me. But I never thought he'd go for Y/BF/N.
We were chilling by our lockers, chatting about his film project, when his books suddenly got knocked out of his hands and he was shoved against the lockers. I straightened up when I saw it was Nate, looking pissed off as he had Y/BF/N's shirt bundled in his fist.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I shouted, trying to shove him off, but he merely pushed me back.
"This isn't your business," he said to me before glaring at Y/BF/N, who was quiet with panic. "You. You've been hanging around my girlfriend and I don't like it."
The colour drained from Y/BF/N's face as Nate slammed his hand to the lockers beside his head, startling him.
"I want you to stay the fuck away from Wanda!" he ordered, and students were starting to pick up on the fight that was clearly about to break out. "You fucking hear me, you nerd? Stay the fuck away!"
Poor Y/BF/N nodded his head, eyes avoiding Nate's. Meanwhile, I was angrier than Nate probably was. Y/BF/N had done nothing wrong. Maybe Nate had just seen Wanda hanging with me and because Y/BF/N was always with me, assumed the worst. Either way, this was no way to handle the situation and I was not gonna let this dick threaten my friend.
"Get the fuck away from him, Nate," I said through gritted teeth, glaring a hole into the side of his head.
Nate barely glanced my way. "I told you this isn't your business, honey."
"Five seconds," I said, standing behind him as a crowd began to form. "You've got five seconds or I'm gonna kick you."
He seemed to ignore me as he tightened his grip on Y/BF/N's shirt, only pissing me off more.
"Five," I began to count down, the grip on my books tightening with nerves and anger. "Four."
He still didn't look my way, just kept slapping Y/BF/N's face to scare him.
"Three, two, one," I said quickly, tired of giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Without waiting anymore, I kicked him between the legs with full force, watching as he instantly let go of Y/BF/N and doubled over. Everybody began to laugh, some making 'ooh' noises, but the consensus was clear – it definitely sucked to be Nate right now.
I tried not to laugh as I watched his face scrunch with pain, turning red. I was starting to appreciate my choice of wearing my doc marten boots today.
"No more balls for the guy who keeps throwing them at my fucking head," I got out, jaw clenching.
He looked up, his face crossing with realisation as he recognised me. In response, he glared in my direction, but it didn't faze me.
"Come on, Y/BF/N," I said, looking to my startled friend. "Let's go."
"What on Earth is going on over here?!" a teacher's voice rang out in the distance, and I groaned internally.
When I turned to leave, I heard Nate from behind me, grunting with dissatisfaction.
"Fuckin' dyke," he mumbled under his breath, and I paused, clenching my fists.
"Y/N, don't–" Y/BF/N tried to stop me, but I was too pissed to care.
I spun around and punched Nate square in the face, feeling good as his smirking face scrunched in pain and his back hit the lockers from the impact.
"Woah!" a teacher came out of nowhere, shoving herself between us and pushing me away from him. "What the hell is going on here?!"
I shook my hand to ease the pain on my knuckles, though the pain couldn't stop the grin on my lips as Nate raised his hands to his face, holding his busted nose. Students were going crazy, egged on by the potential fight, and for once, I didn't mind the attention. Nate had that coming for a while now.
"Everybody back to class! Now!" the teacher yelled, glaring all around her, before her eyes settled on Nate and I. "You two. Nurse's office now."
Nate glared at me behind his bloody nose and, once again, I tried not to laugh. Y/BF/N patted my back, amazement written on his face, before letting me leave with the teacher and an unusually silent Nate.
Kicking Nate in the groin and punching him in the face wasn't something I did to get attention, yet that's exactly what happened. Word of the incident spread around the school quite quickly, so much in fact that even students from other grades became aware of the situation and were approaching me to tell me how awesome I was. The whole thing was definitely strange, but I could tolerate it.
What I couldn't tolerate was having Chemistry after lunch and wondering if Wanda knew.
Would she hate me for punching her boyfriend? I wasn't sure. I just knew that when she walked into class and sat next to me, I felt everyone's eyes subtly watching us as if waiting for her to explode at me.
I'd been given an ice pack for my bruised hand after my visit to the nurse's office earlier whilst Nate had been treated for his broken nose (the fact that I'd broken it was hilarious to me, since I knew I wasn't even that strong). The principal had a very angry yell at us both in his office, neither of us willing to reveal the premise of our fight, before giving us detention every day after school for two weeks straight as punishment. Of course, Nate got his two weeks at a different time to mine for fear I'd punch him again (he definitely didn't like that, but he couldn't exactly say that to to principal).
I didn't bother using the ice pack in Chemistry for fear Wanda may ask what was up. I successfully managed to hide my hand and as a second surprise of the day, Wanda mentioned nothing about the incident. Not one thing about her boyfriend, about Y/BF/N, about any of it. I thought she might hint at it, trying to get me to bring it up. But she didn't which made me think she actually had no idea it even happened. Had anyone told her? Had he told her? Nah, probably not. His fragile masculinity probably caused him to change the story to something else so he didn't look like a wimp in front of his girlfriend.
Whatever it was, I was safe for now.
Thinking I'd got away with a confrontation from Wanda, I went about the rest of my day as usual. Well, that was until I was replacing some books in my locker at the end of the day and saw Wanda at her locker behind me, arguing with– yep, you guessed it. Nate.
Y/BF/N was collecting some books from his own locker beside me and we both exchanged looks as we saw the two lovebirds in a heated argument. Just when we were about to leave, someone cleared their throat from behind us, making us turn around.
Wanda was stood there, backpack hanging from her shoulder, beside Nate, who looked like he would rather be anywhere else but here.
"Hi," he started quietly, making Wanda clear her throat. He glanced at her before looking to Y/BF/N. "Look, man, I'm really sorry about earlier. I was wrong about what I said. We cool?"
I tried not to laugh at the way Nate was being forced to apologise by his girlfriend. Y/BF/N glanced to me with questioning eyes, so I simply shrugged.
"I guess...," he finally answered Nate, still a little awkward.
Nate nodded before looking to me. He still had his reservations, judging from the twitch in his expression, but for Wanda's sake, he kept his cool.
"I'm sorry for treating you badly," he said reluctantly. "With the football and just generally."
God, it was so hard not to laugh in his face right now. His nose had gauze taped to it and it made him look like an idiot. I fake coughed to disguise my smile, before meeting his gaze.
"It's, er, cool," I said, not in the mood to be an arsehole to him, even though he deserved it. I'd punched him – I think we were equal for now.
He nodded, before staying quiet. Glancing to Wanda, he waited for her to say something. She rolled her eyes and nodded for him to leave. When he was gone, she sighed tiredly.
"I only heard about what happened after Chem class," she said, mainly to me, a guilty expression on her lips. "I'm so sorry he acted like a jerk."
I chewed my lip, unsure what to say.
"It's okay, Y/N here took care of it," Y/BF/N said, smiling with amusement at me. Okay, well now she definitely knew.
"Yeah, sorry you felt you had to do that," she said with a grimace. "I guess he deserved it though."
"Kind of," I agreed, before noticing the regretful frown on her lips. "He apologised though. It's already happened. I kinda broke his nose... No point in dwelling on it."
She smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Yeah..." Her eyes fell to my bruised hand before lifting it gently. I winced at the ache, but let her hold it, studying the purple bruise painted across my knuckles. "That looks bad."
It felt good punching him though, but I wasn't about to say that since it was her boyfriend I was talking about.
"It's alright," I said dismissively, shrugging. "Nate kind of got it worse. I'll live."
The pad of her thumb stroked the bruise gently and I held my breath, the feeling of her hands holding mine sending shivers up my arm. Her eyes flickered to mine, softened with guilt, before she let go of my hand.
"I should head home," she said after a pause. "I'll see you both tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow," Y/BF/N said for both of us, sensing my loss of words.
Wanda held my gaze once more, eyes half lidded as they glanced down. Before I could even question what she was looking at, she waved goodbye and left.
"She's either starting to realise what a dick her boyfriend is or she's just really into you," Y/BF/N said, patting me on the back. "Maybe both, who knows?"
"You definitely cheated," I told Y/BF/N once we finished yet another round of air hockey. "Nobody wins six times in a row like that!"
He laughed at my expression. "Tell me, dear Y/N. How would I cheat? The concept of the game is simple, really. It's not my fault you're terrible."
I rolled my eyes lightheartedly. "Seventh time's the charm. C'mon."
He chuckled, about to put more money in the machine, before his eyes got distracted by something behind me. "Well, would you look at that. The Maximoff twins are here."
"Very funny," I said with a knowing look. "You can't throw me off like that. We've established I'm already terrible. Now c'mon. Let's go!"
"I wish I was joking," he said, shaking his head.
I scoffed, not believing him, and turned around to prove him wrong, but I was surprised when I saw Wanda and Pietro walking into the arcade we were in. They seemed to spot us instantly, waving in our direction before approaching us.
"Fancy seeing you here," Pietro teased with a smile as they stopped before us.
I cracked a smile as Y/BF/N joined my side. "We're hanging out. And you?"
Wrapping an arm around his sister's shoulder, he tugged Wanda close to him. "Sibling bonding time."
Wanda rolled her eyes at his childishness, but I could tell she found it endearing all the same.
"Well, if you want, you can hang with us," Y/BF/N offered, and we all looked to him, myself raising a brow his way. He seemed to sense my reluctance, it egging him on as he grinned at them. "Y/N doesn't mind. Do you, Y/N?"
I swallowed hard as I looked between the twins. "'Course not."
And that's how I found myself playing arcade games with the Maximoff twins that Saturday afternoon. It was actually pretty fun, with Pietro being as competitive as I was and Wanda being the sweetest loser with everything she played. It was so adorable, but I ended up letting her win some games of skee-ball just so I could see that cute nose scrunch of hers as she realised she'd won.
"You gonna let me win like that, too?" Pietro caught on as he took his sister's place in playing against me. He had a mischievous grin on his lips and I felt my mouth go dry at what he was implying.
"You wish," I said, playing it cool, though I wondered if he cared that I clearly let Wanda win. He wouldn't read into it, right?
Pietro took his go as he spoke. "So, I heard what happened with you and Nate at school last week."
I closed my eyes, cringing at the reminder. Pietro merely laughed.
"You kicked him super hard, right?" he asked excitedly. "I heard his face went so red with anger that you could fry an egg on it! And don't forget that punch, goddamn what I would pay to have seen that!"
"Pietro!" Wanda scolded from behind us as her and Y/BF/N played air hockey. "Don't be a tool!"
I felt my face heat up with embarrassment as Pietro continued to laugh. Y/BF/N joined in whilst Wanda tried to hide the smile dancing on her lips.
"You're not even together anymore," Pietro called to Wanda between laughter. Wait, did I hear that right?
"You and Nate broke up?" Y/BF/N asked with disbelief. "Our grade's 'it' couple broke up?"
Wanda ran a hand through her hair to distract from her flittering eyes. "He treated you horribly last week. Both of you." She glanced my way before looking at her shoes. "He was a jerk. It was long overdue... Also, I would have broken up with him there and then had I known what he'd said to you. I'm sorry he said what he did."
She stared at me with apologetic eyes and I wasn't sure what to say or do other than nod awkwardly and look away. The fact that she'd broken up with him put a smile on my face though.
"I just think it's awesome," Pietro admitted, before saluting playfully to me. "Thank you for your service. I knew you were awesome, but this is a whole new level."
I sighed, attempting to hide my smile, before straightening up to play. Pietro and I played some skee-ball before I decided to have a go at the claw machine. Wanda was at the one beside me, attempting to win herself a fluffy black cat plush toy. She'd had three goes before giving up, admitting to defeat.
"Typical Wanda," Pietro teased. "Giving up when the going gets tough."
She punched him in the arm, making him jump and rub it. That elicited a smile from her, making me laugh at their immaturity.
"How about Wanda and I go and get a table in the diner next door whilst you finish up winning whatever it is you're trying to win?" Y/BF/N asked, looking to me, as if assigning blame.
"I already told you, I'm not leaving this machine until I win at least one thing," I stated stubbornly.
"The amount of money you've put into the machine won't make up for whatever you win," Y/BF/N teased with amusement.
"Just go," I said, waving my hand dismissively. "I'll be there soon."
"I'll wait with her," Pietro said, resting a hand on my shoulder, making me shrug him off jokingly. "See you soon," he added with a laugh, to his sister and Y/BF/N.
When they left, I looked to Pietro with an amused smile. "I don't need you to look after me, y'know."
He shrugged and looked through the glass of the claw machine. "I know. But I stayed to give you some advice, princess."
"Oh, really? And what advice is that?" I asked, before putting some coins in the machine to have another go.
"People usually tend to win these things for people they like, right?" he asked, nodding to the plush toys in the machine.
"Or for themselves," I corrected with a curious smile. "Take Wanda for example. How badly did she want that cat?"
He crossed his arms, smiling with amusement. "You could win it for her, y'know."
"What?" I asked, half paying attention as I attempted to grab a teddy bear.
"Win the cat for my sister and give it to her?"
I ended up dropping the teddy from the claw as I looked to Pietro with shock. He laughed at my expression, leaning against the machine.
"You do like her, right? Otherwise this is awkward," he added as an afterthought, looking down and smiling to himself.
My jaw hung open. "I– er– I never really– I don't–"
"She must definitely like you," Pietro noted, glancing at me.
I licked my lips as I found my words. "Did she," I cleared my throat, "did she say something?"
"Well, no," he said, "but she looks like she wants to murder me every time I hang out with you."
"That's just a coincidence," I said, shaking my head and looking back to the machine. "She's not–" I thought about, before shaking my head again. "No."
I appreciated Pietro's help, but Wanda definitely didn't like me like that. She was just protective of her brother and friendly to me. It didn't mean anything.
"Look, you don't have to listen to me," he said, straightening up and looking at the machine as I slotted another coin in. "But you could give it a shot. See what happens."
I glanced at him, his blue eyes watching me knowingly, a matching smirk on his lips.
"Fine," I gave in, hoping it wouldn't backfire. "Let's see what happens..."

Word count: 1200+
Contents/Warnings: (1) Fushiguro Megumi x gn!Reader (2) Classic training but no fighting scene I apologise (3) A... dirty humor joke? (4) Idiot in love cough cough (5) Laidback romance, this may become a pattern on my fanfiction :3
A/N: Hello, I introduce myself as Hara! This is my very first written piece! I would like to apologise for any typos, english is not my first language; that being said, I hope this works out alright! :)
Tumblr media
It's around mid afternoon, the sky painted in a vibrant blue with multiple clouds scattered around, Fushiguro recalls having started training right after lunch; he politely declined Maki's suggestion of training together, it wasn't about strength or fighting hand to hand today, the struggle was his shikigami. Lately, he's been having problems over teamwork - before, he thought such a thing was impossible, since all of the shikigami were under one will alone, being his. Yet the amount of times the divine dogs have bumped into eachothers, sometimes Nue would simply skip past the target, not paying attention to it at all.
Or perhaps, he himself was to blame. Fushiguro likes thinking about you, more than he'd admit, but now it's starting to distract for real. That's what he need, to think of you- I mean, concentration! And maybe, new group attacks, that would do nicely, too.
He's been beating a tedious dummy for a hour and half now, maybe more. After managing to make up a combo or two, he sits down on the grass, just to breathe for a moment. Breathing is nice, he observes as the divine dogs go slack like their owner, now playing around with one another rather than chewing the dummies stuffing. His black and white snake is watching the banter between the canine shikigamis, tongue coming in and out just like a real snake. Nue settles upon the dummies ragged body, eyes closed- peacefully enjoying sunbathing. Fushiguro had no idea they were so lively until now, now he knew why people constantly asked if they could pet his shikigami.
He glances down at the frog supporting his arm, it's like they enjoy just laying on grass, just breathing like him.
"How many buddies out! Are you training today, Fushiguro?"
At the sound of your voice, you bet his lips casually turn upwars in a casual yet small smile. Kugisaki saw it from distance once, says she it's almost a robotic response.
"Yes, I'm training their cooperation." Fushiguro replies, swiftly getting up. He notices the frog from earlier making a beeline to you, as if to say hello.
So you crouch down and pets it briefly, smiling at the small creature.
"That ought to be hard, specially with a innefective dummy." You approach its remains, chuckling at all the stuffing and cloth scattered around. "Make me your target instead!"
Say what?
"I uh, come again?"
"I'll do the running and dodging, it's much practical this way!"
He has trouble accepting that, even if it's true. You mean more than an ally on his heart, and besides, that's some Itadori-level-recklessy. So he groans, slightly irritated and obviously, worried for your safety. "You'll get hurt."
"Don't we get hurt everyday? Even if there is an accident, I know you'll call them out and help me quickly, you notice things fast."
He does, Fushiguro would help you in a heartbeat- probably faster.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, lash out on me!"
Putting 'lash' and 'me' in the same phrase got heat rising on his ears, but he complied nonetheless. "Just letting you know, I'll stand here and the shikigami attacks."
You protest. "Wouldn't it be better if you fought among them?"
"For today, I'd like to focus on their compatibility only."
"Oh, got it! Next time we can work on the latter option then!" Next time. He wants there to be a next time.
Even though you're the one troubling his mind in battles, he's head over heels. He remembers when it all started, your relationship is basically pools worth of quality time. You came along with Itadori, tangled into the mess back in Sendai. Strangely, Fushiguro clicked with you even faster than Itadori- your collected personality was a great factor, even though you are just as cheerful as the cherry boy.
"You're spacing out, what's up?"
Fushiguro's gaze snapped up to meet yours, realizing his mistake. "Ah, nothing, let's start." His hands folded as your guard rose, so it begun. If you noticed his lame excuse, you didn't comment about it.
The ravenette was pleasantly relieved how easily you could deceive and dodge his attacks, his shikigami may leave a tear or two on your clothes, that he didn't have to worry about, because they're easily fixable. Naturally, the toughest for you to dodge was mostly his snake, sometimes Nue would surprise you from above, nothing you couldn't handle. He started intensing up using the combined attacks, and immediately noticed your faltering steps, earning a bruise on your calf. Although neither he or you stopped, adrenaline rushing through veins nonstop.
You somehow finished training with a bite mark over your forehead, not deep enough to be worth worry. The instant your bodies came to slack, his shikigami ran to you like little children lost in a supermarket. At this point, it was pratically multitasking, to pet both demon dogs while trying not to run out of breath having Orochi wrapped around your midsection. Megumi flushed over the affectionate antics, knowing they were a manifestation of feelings within himself.
Now, you and Fushiguro are spawled on the training field, neither showered, coated with sweat sticking to your clothes, but it didn't matter much.
"I never realized, just how many cursed energy do you have? It's surprising how many shikigami you kept our for this long time." Fushiguro heard you shifting to sit up, and followed you up.
"A bunch." It was not a creative nor informative answer, but you took it in with a smile on your face anyway.
He watched you get up to fetch a drink, careful to not trip over the shikigami also scattered around -- Fushiguro always 'forgot' to put them away next to you.
You handed him a strawberry yogurt box, the same drink also sat in your hands. "Well then, why are you spacing out so much these days? You can be honest with me."
'She's oblivious enough, I'm in need of advice, it's convenient.' So he thought, figuring if he disguised it enough, you wouldn't be able to tell. It's not a big deal if you did, though, saves time actually.
"Something's on my mind, and it troubles me during fights."
"Simple, you can just come in terms with it."
He glanced down, "Why?"
"The sooner the better, when you accept something, it comes at ease on your mind. I'm a hundred percent sure it works!" You gave him a thumbsup, slurping on the pink drink.
"Such faithful source."
"I'm sure it does! The thought keeps coming back because you're denying it, am I wrong?"
Not really, no. Fushiguro wants to keep it as friendship for the sake of your both careers within the jujutsu world; he knows it's dangerous, yet a part of him just wants to say 'fuck it', like if he had the guts to. The ravenette thinks it's a way too much generic way to describe what he feels, but it's the easiest, so he goes with it anyway. The back of his brain fears rejection, part of the reason why he hasn't made a move yet.
"I'll try it out."
"Good!" And you're always supportive no matter what, to the point it charms him more and more everyday.
For now, he's okay keeping it platonic. But, when the day after tomorrow comes, he just might confess.

Heartbreak.
It's something you've thought about, in theory. You've wondered how it feels to be heartbroken, especially when you were younger, when almost everything was of interest to your curious brain. Could a heart break? What exactly did that mean?
Mr Yang's novels were your first introduction to characters who'd gone through that pain. His books had described it as a perpetual feeling of hurt, one which a person would never get over. You wondered if it was even possible to experience pain like that. Pain so bad you felt your heart shattering.
You still remembered that day you thought about it properly for the first time.
***
You shut your book and looked over at Minho, who had been cloudgazing as he waited for you to finish it. Days like this were common. Minho would get you a new book every week, and the two of you would go to the lake and laze around in the sun. You often worried that Minho would find it boring to sit next to you while you read, having nothing to do. On the contrary, he was quite content with the way things were. He liked how warm the grass felt against his skin, and how calming the sounds of rippling water were as he rested his head against Aeracus’s side.
"Wow. That definitely didn't end on a good note." You shook your head, letting out a sigh and laying back.
Minho glanced up at you, sitting up slightly. "You finished it? So soon?"
"Mhm. I got a little too invested in the story."
"Ah. If I'd known you would read it this fast, I would have borrowed more than one from him."
"It's okay, I can wait a few days.' You say, your tone reassuring as you placed Mr Yang's precious book next to you on the grass, carefully. The man put great care into binding and writing his books, all by hand with no one to assist him. You didn’t want to be the one to soil his hard work.
"Good, cause I'm not going back there so soon. There's three girls who have basically set up camp outside Mr Yang's to catch a glimpse of me."
You rolled your eyes, playfully shoving him. "You act like you're a celebrity or something. We get it, you have a lot of fangirls."
"And fanboys. Some of them are quite cute actually. Just last week a dude proposed to me."
"No way. He proposed?"
"Yeah." He let out a low chuckle. "I think I recognized him from the docks. Seen him once or twice, but I've never said a word to him. I felt bad though, he was actually pretty."
"You should have said yes." You pouted, holding back a giggle. "I've always wanted to be maid of honor at a wedding."
Minho shook his head, sitting up and scooting over. Grabbing your waist, he pulled you into him, so that the both of you were curled up against his sleeping dragon.
"Maid of honor?"
"Yeah! I mean, what's the point of having a best friend if you don't get to play that crucial role in their wedding?"
Minho sighed, looking over at you with a fond smile as he bit his cheek. "Oh Y/n, what am I going to do with you? Maid of honor." He chuckled again at the exaggerated pout you flashed him, poking his side. “What’s so funny?”
There was silence for a few minutes as he looked up at the sky, eyes running over a cloud that looked a little like a five-pointed star. Humming, he leaned in a little.
A short inhale before he whispered into your ear, lips brushing against the shell of it and making your hairs stand on end.
"I hate to break it to you Y/n, but you'll never be maid of honor at my wedding." He mumbled softly, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.
"Cause you'll be the bride."
For a minute, a stunned look passed over your face as you comprehended his words. It took a whole 60 seconds for you to process, but soon you swatted at his hand, descending into a fit of hopeless giggles at his cheesy line. "Shut up!"
"Hey! I was being serious." he had an offended look on his face as he held your chin, making you face him again.
You looked at his expression and stopped, your cheeks flushing as you realized he meant it. Your heart was racing, your eyes blinking rapidly as your mushy mess of a brain tried to figure out what an appropriate, mature response would be.
Quickly you pushed him off you, stumbling to your feet and beginning to run. So much for being mature.
"Race you home!"
Minho watched you run, shaking his head and sighing to himself as he slowly picked himself up. If only you knew how sincere he was.
If only he knew your heart hadn't stopped pounding for the rest of the night.
Mr Yang's books had been the main contribution to your adolescent fantasies, to be honest. As the local librarian, he supplied you with a regular supply of books, but none were as satisfying as the ones he wrote himself. His writing was descriptive on another level, and pulled you in like no other author could. He was your greatest inspiration, which was why his description of heartbreak had been the one to stick with you the most, all the way to adulthood.
It was described as a lingering emotion in the back of your head, staying with you your whole life to remind you of what could have been. It was nauseating, painful and everlasting. He'd written about the emotion so intensively, that at the time you almost felt like you did truly know how it felt.
You were wrong.
Heartbreak, real heartbreak, was a lot less pain and a lot more emptiness. Yes, it did feel like all those things mentioned before- but there was more to it than that. Your heart, which had been brimming with excitement and happiness not too long ago, felt void. Dark, lifeless. It had been so sudden, so out of the blue that your emotions were a confused jumble.
Of course, there was pain too- agony, more like. Ripping through your entire being as you watched him kiss her cheek yet again. It was so all consuming, so terrifyingly excruciating.
You were across the dinner table by your father's side, the spoon in your hand held in a tight grip as you tried your best to avert your eyes from the sight. After all, you were currently sat at the table with three other chiefs and their families, as well as a few advisors and high ranking guards. You had to look refined and elegant, a person befitting the title of Ember’s heir- not a gawking, bitter girl staring at your once lover canoodling with his fiancée.
Finally managing to tear your eyes away, you let your eyes run over the guests that would be staying with you for the next few weeks. You reminded yourself that you were in no position to be a dejected, woeful and pathetic individual in front of all these important people. Appearances had to be kept up, or you would face dire consequences. Your father’s pride was hurt enough as it is, what with his daughter being the only one who couldn’t participate in the championships. You didn’t want to give him any more reasons to hate you.
Next to your father was the Aqua chief, his wife and their daughter- Minho’s fiancée. They were dressed in blue silks, dripping with sapphires and lapides lazuli. The royal blue draped around them was deep, the fabric clearly expensive and not too unlike the dress you were wearing currently.
The Aqua heiress was the spitting image of her mother, both their faces round and their features pretty. She was dressed similarly to her parents, with a tiny diadem upon her brown locks, her gown objectively fancier than yours. She continued talking to Minho, the plate of food in front of her untouched.
Minho.
You hated how beautiful he looked, dressed in white and grey. His uniform was simple, all clean lines and crisp edges. It suited him perfectly, like it was made for him. Which it probably was.
The two of them seemed to be in their own little world as Minho whispered something into her ear, making her giggle yet again. Your throat felt clogged. Blinking, you quickly looked away from them, your eyes landing on Minho’s father. He looked the same as he always did, except now slightly frailer. He was wearing the same uniform as his son, although he didn’t quite fill it out the same way. You chewed on your lip, glancing at him one last time before turning to the Terra family.
The Terra chief was a rotund, pot-bellied man who had his attention completely focused on his plate, not contributing much to the conversation the three other chiefs were having. You couldn’t blame him, really- the maids had cooked up a delightful feast. You were sure you’d have devoured your entire plate by now if circumstances had been different. The empty feeling in your stomach was making it hard to savour the roast beef, which you reluctantly ate.
He and his wife were both dressed in earthly, neutral tones combined with deep greens- and positively covered in every kind of jewel found under the Earth. The rubies on your dress looked like chili flakes in comparison to the twinkling emeralds and gems on the Terra family.
Their son, the Terra heir, looked just as miffed as you, to be honest. He wasn’t as bejewelled as his parents, wearing a shade of green that provided you comfort as you looked at him. It reminded you of the grass near the lake you and Minho once frequented.
He caught your gaze suddenly. Smiling, his heart-shaped lips curving upwards. He shot a glance towards Minho and his girl, and then back at you, raising an eyebrow.
You tried your best to smile back, or give him a knowing wink, or something. But all you could do was stare blankly, your emotions having been sucked out of you. You still failed to comprehend what had happened, your brain seemingly giving up on you and leaving you alone with nothing but your broken heart for company.
Soon enough, the smile melted away from the man's face, and he looked back down at his plate, a little dejected. You felt a flash of regret, fleeting however as you suddenly felt a sharp voice whispering in your ear.
You looked up in confusion at your father, who had previously been immersed in a conversation with Minho’s father and the Aqua chief. Now his face was right by your ear.
"Number one, stop staring. You’re lucky I’m the only one who noticed. Number two, stop by my office before you go to sleep tonight, okay? It’s important." He said, voice stern.
Gulping and nodding, you watched as he turned away, diving right back into the conversation he was having. What did he possibly want to talk about? You rarely talked to your father these days, unless arguments could be counted.
You spent the rest of the meal in contemplation, staring down at your plate. Your hand moved methodically, shoving food into your mouth without actually tasting anything; All you could taste was regret.
It hurt. It hurt so fucking bad. Despite not looking up, her giggle still pierced your ears from time to time, stabbing you deep in the heart. You'd seen it...the way Minho had been looking at her. He'd once reserved such looks for you and you only. Turns out, every meaningful word he'd said back then were lies. Every promise of forever had been empty.
A small part of you reminded yourself that it wasn't his fault he was kicked out from your village. He’d thought you didn’t oppose your father, and simply watched as he and his father was humiliated. Were you being irrational in expecting him to have stayed single until he came back to you? Hell, was it stupid to think he could even bear to glance at you after what your father had did?
Life was unpredictable, nothing was written in stone. How could he even have known he'd ever be in the same room as you again?
No. Y/n, don't do this. Don't force yourself to make up excuses for him. The man had barely cast a glance at you since he arrived. His eyes had been cold and stony the only time you'd made eye contact.
Besides, if he really knew you, he would have known you wouldn’t betray him like that. And if he really loved you, he would have waited. He wouldn’t have moved on so easily.
It was still fresh in your mind, despite having happened a few hours ago, now. The way you’d felt your hopes and dreams shattering to the ground in a million pieces, all in a span of a few seconds. Your heart, vibrating so fast it was almost going to implode.
As you continued drowning in your emotions, reliving the pain you'd felt, you suddenly felt a pair of eyes burning into you, sharply. Confused, you looked up, expecting the Terra heir to be the one looking back at you.
It wasn't him.
Minho quickly looked away before you could react, going back to talking to the heiress. It had only been for a second, but you’d caught him.
He’d been staring. At you. For a second, the tiniest flash of hope lit up your heart. But it was gone quickly, as the Aqua chief started laughing boisterously at a question the Terra chief's wife had asked.
"Yes, Jisu and Minho are deeply in love, Calandra. Honestly. Why would they be getting married otherwise?" He smiled, looking over at the two who had stopped talking to listen.
"This one-" He ruffled his daughter's head, chuckling. "She was so smitten. Kept sneaking out past the border to meet him. Of course when I found out, I was more than happy to let them join hands. I couldn’t imagine a son better than Minho to marry my little girl."
"That's sweet." You glanced up at your father as he said the words. He seemed to be gritting his teeth in slight vexation, the annoyance on his face clear. At least, to you it was.
"The wedding will take place a month after the championships." Minho's father said suddenly, smiling proudly as he grabbed a glass of wine. "You're all invited, of course. It will take place at my village. Now, raise a glass for the happy couple!"
A few claps sounded as everyone at the table raised their glasses. You carefully avoided Jisu's shy smile and Minho's confident smirk, his arm wrapped around her shoulder firmly. As if she would break into a million pieces if he let go.
You hated that you knew exactly how he behaved when he was in love. And now you weren’t on the receiving end of his adoration.
You weren’t used to this.
Yes, you’d lived your life as normally as you could without him for the past few years...but this was different. He was right there, and yet he wasn’t yours. So close, but you couldn’t touch him. Couldn’t feel him. Couldn’t kiss his lips and tell him how much he meant to you.
Your eyes darted about as they tried to find an appropriate thing to focus your gaze on. You raised your glass like everyone else, downed the amber liquid a little faster than the rest. You refused to let yourself look at the two.
Your eyes landed on the Terra heir after a few seconds. You weren't completely sure what his name was, but you have a vague recollection of your father telling you everyone’s names. Of course, at the time you’d been too overcome with excitement to digest the information.
Felix? Yes, that was it.
He seemed sweet. Friendly, even. His smile was a little sympathetic as he looked back at you, and that threw you off. You decided to put a smile on your face immediately, trying to conceal the pain that you’d hoped wasn’t evident.
Your mind flitted back and forth as everyone’s plates gradually cleared up. What were you going to do after this?
Originally, you'd been planning to go to Minho's room tonight. Fuck, you’d dreamed of how tonight would go for months now, ever since your father had told you the news. But how could you now?
Everything was fucking disintegrating.
***
You walked down the hallway to your father's office, your heels clicking against the stone slabs. Your dress was starting to feel itchy, and you couldn’t wait to take it off. You resentfully recalled how excited you’d felt when your maids had helped you into it. How all you could think about was Minho seeing you in it. You’d never expected him to barely acknowledge you.
Sighing, you passed through the hallway, stopping when you heard a high-pitched giggle come out of nowhere.
Furrowing your eyebrows, you glanced around you in confusion.
Another laugh, this one deeper, followed by what seemed like a...moan?
The pain came back full force, hurtling through you and overtaking you completely. As you walked, the sounds started to feel closer. You wished you could cover your ears to block them out, but at the same time you were consumed with curiosity. Was it what you think it was?
Suddenly, you heard another sound. Now, it was clear where they were coming from.
The sounds were from beyond the door that led to your father's old bedroom, the one he used to share with your mother before she died. You frowned, puzzled as you walked closer to the door.
Had he really given away that room to Minho and his fiancée? It hadn't been used in years, and had always been covered up and inaccessible. Even the maids weren’t allowed to clean in there. It was the biggest bedroom in the house, and the thought of it occupied by them was causing fresh tears to prick at your eyes.
You felt the lump in your throat make itself more prominent, blinking rapidly as your heart pounded. Suddenly, your legs started moving of their own accord.
Before you knew it, you were stood in front of the large door, your hand raised and knocking firmly on the gilded wood as you swallowed.
There was complete silence for a second or two, but then there were scrambling noises, along with the sound of rustling bedsheets. You tried to calm the beating of your heart, as you waited for the door to open.
When it finally did, you felt like your heart was almost about to burst out of your chest.
She was the one who opened it. She was clearly half naked, having pulled on a blue robe hastily. Running a hand through her hair, she greeted you, her voice a little shaky.
"Oh- um, hello…” She pressed her lips together, glancing behind her for a second. You followed her gaze, to Minho on the bed.
He was shirtless, his hair messed up and his eyes carefully trained on the wall beside him, away from you. You swallowed again, tears threatening to spill past your eyes as you quickly tried to turn your attention back to the woman in front of you.
Too late. She'd noticed. She frowned at you, subtly moving to the side a little to cover Minho from your view.
"I know we haven't formally met yet. I'm Choi Jisu, the Aqua heiress. I’m sure you know." She smiled, albeit a little forced. "And I did want to thank you for letting us stay-"
There was an impatient grunt from behind her, and she looked behind back briefly before turning to you once more.
"Um, I don’t know if you noticed, but I was kind of in the middle of something. Sorry." She tried her best to hide her smile, her voice heavily insincere. “Let’s talk later, Y/n. And maybe next time you won’t be interrupting anything.” She smiled, beginning to close the door.
"Later."
You just stood there dumbfounded, not knowing how to reply. Your face was passive but your brain was overrun with thoughts. The tears would spill any minute now.
She frowned at your reaction, tilting her head before gently shutting the door in your face.
You just stood there for a moment. You could hear Minho's voice, muffled as he said something to her.
A part of you wanted to press your ear to the door and listen, but you already looked pathetic enough to the guards standing in the hallway, one of them already having flashed you a sympathetic look. You were really having enough of all this fucking sympathy.
Sighing, you dragged your feet away, trying to push everything down, but to no avail. There were too many enotions, and they were too heavy to even let you think.
You thought back to her behaviour. You'd definitely picked up on her attitude, which had soured after she’d caught you looking at her fiancé. Jisu wasn’t a fan of you, that much was clear. And neither was the person who’d once declared himself your biggest fan. Ironic, really.
***
“Who was at the door?” Minho asked carefully, although he’d already seen you. Standing there, looking at him.
You’d looked smaller, vulnerable. So, so different. Almost alarmingly so.
He tried to best to keep his tone even, eyes trained on Jisu as she slunk back to the bed, having shut the door.
“The Ember heiress.” She said, a slight sting to her tone. “Why do you think she came?” She asked, raising an eyebrow as she sat on the edge of the bed.
“I...don’t know.” Minho muttered, staring at the bedsheets. His heart was clenching, hands starting to shake a little.
No. Not in front of Jisu.
“Weren’t you two ‘best friends’ once?” She asked carefully, having picked up on his icy behavior. Jisu knew, of course. Despite Minho and you trying to keep it a secret, at one point the entire village came to know the two of you were in love. The information had even spread across the village, to others.
Of course, the chiefs were the only ones who’d been clueless, only finding out after they’d been separated.
Minho scoffed, shaking his head. He gestured to her, hooking his fingers under his boxers to pull them down. “Forget that. Come back here, baby.”
Jisu raised an eyebrow, looking like she wanted to say more. However, Minho’s almost naked body was difficult to resist.
Shrugging, she slid her robe off, letting the silk fall to the floor as she straddled him. His hands ran up her hips, watching her, feeling her.
His brain, however, felt like it was a million miles away.
***
The tears ran down your face. You were no longer able to hold them back. Realizing you were probably about to break down in the middle of the hallway, you walked faster towards the office-
Until you bumped into someone on the way, almost knocking them over.
“Woah, woah, slow down.” Felix chuckled, holding onto your arms to keep you on your feet.
You looked up at him, blinking as you registered what you’d just done. “Fuck- I’m so sorry-”
“No, it’s okay.” He smiled, realizing his hands were still on you. He quickly took them away, tucking them into his pockets. His cheeks were dusted a light pink as he cleared his throat, looking at you in concern.
You quickly wiped away your tears, but Felix had unfortunately already noticed.
“Hey, are you okay? I noticed... I noticed you didn’t seem so happy at the dinner.” He said softly, looking down at you.
You remained silent, staring at the floor as you wondered how to reply. You didn’t want to seem any more pitiable than you already were.
“Uh, it’s okay if you don’t want to say anything. I’m sorry if I overstepped.” He shook his head, stepping back slightly. His voice was almost more nervous than yours. “Um, I’ll leave you be now. Sorry-”
You looked up, sighing. “Wait…”
Felix looked back, an expectant, almost hopeful look on his face. You didn’t want to let him down, you really didn’t...but it was difficult to pretend like you were okay. You were shivering, biting on your lip. You already felt humiliated enough.
“Sorry. I...I need to go, I’m sorry.” You mumbled, quickly walking away from a bewildered Felix. As soon as you turned the corner, you breathed a sigh of relief, leaning against the wall as your body shuddered.
You’d never cried like this, not even when Caeli had died. Not even when Minho had left, because back then you’d still possessed some kind of hope. Hope that just wasn’t there anymore.
Rubbing your cheeks, you managed to get rid of the tear stains. You hoped your eyes weren’t too red- you weren’t ready for any comments from your father today. Breathing in, you continued walking, still massaging your eyes in a desperate bid to get them dry.
You groaned as you noticed you’d reached your father’s office quicker than you thought you would. Inhaling deeply, you tried to pull yourself together. You really didn’t like showing weakness in front of him, but lately that was all you did.
You knocked on the door carefully, waiting for him to open the door.
“Door’s open, come in.”
You pushed open the heavy oak door, stepping in.
"Y/n. Finally. Where have you been?"
"Nowhere important." You said quickly, clearing your throat. "Um... you said you wanted to see me, dad?"
He cleared his throat. "Yes." He rearranged the files on his desk quickly, standing and coming over to lean on the front of his desk. He sighed, screwing his face up in thought as he wondered where to start.
"I can’t believe Lee really scored a marriage for his son. Do you know what this means? A heir marrying an heiress? They'll possess power we can’t even begin to imagine." He paced back and forth, clenching his fists in barely concealed anger. You rolled your eyes slightly. Of course your father thought it was a ploy to gain power. He’d never believed in love, and most probably never will.
“So?”
"So? So?!” He shook his head. “See, this is exactly why the villagers think you’re too incompetent.” He glared, making you cower. Your heart pounded quicker, your lips pressing together. No more tears, you had to control them.
“Look, Y/n...I’ll put it plain and simple. Ember has been the most powerful for centuries. We’ve always had the strongest dragons, and the sturdiest men. Our village is the largest in the country, and all eyes are on us.”
He pinched his forehead. “Do you know how embarrassing it is that Ember’s heiress, the one who should be the most powerful of all, is nothing but a lovesick, pathetic little girl who doesn’t even have a fucking dragon to compete with?!”
You blinked, sniffing as you stared at the floor. You could always count on your father to reinforce negative emotions. His eyes burning into you, chest heaving in anger.
He sighed, watching as your shoulders shook slightly. Softening a little, he inhaled. It always went that way. He’d blow up at you, and subsequently regret it. He couldn’t take back anything he said, though.
“Sorry, child.” You remained silent, looking up a little. His face seemed sincere enough.
“Hm. I have an idea..." He mumbled, placing a finger on his chin. You could almost see the cogs and gears turning in his brain.
"What did you think of Felix? Nice boy, isn't he?"
You frowned at your father's words, his expression seeming innocent...but his intentions clearly weren't.
"The Terra heir?" You asked, sighing. "He seems nice. Why are you asking?"
"No reason." He shrugged, fiddling with the Ember figurine on his desk.
You groaned, rubbing your forehead. "Dad...don't tell me you want to marry me off to him."
"What?? No!" Your father shook his head vehemently, still playing with the figurine and avoiding your eyes. "I was just thinking. Uh-"
He looked back at you and sighed. "Okay, I'm sorry. But...just consider it, okay? An arranged marriage...an alliance between Ember and Terra could be phenomenal."
You pursed your lips, flashes of Minho and Jisu running through your head as you thought it over. Fuck it, why not? It wasn’t like you had any reason to oppose him. "Fine, dad. I’ll think about it, but I’m not promising anything. Besides, I don’t even know if he’s interested in me."
"I saw the way he was looking at you from across the table, child. He definitely has some curiosity, at the very least.” He hummed. “Anyway, that's actually not why I called you here."
You raised an eyebrow, confused as he went back to his seat, sitting down and pulling up a large, dusty book.
"Look...I'm worried. There's something ominous about this. Their marriage...it poses too many conveniences and benefits for both the chiefs to be a mere coincidence.”
You frowned, confused. "What do you mean?"
He looked to be deep in thought. When he heard you speak, he snapped back to attention, shaking his head. "I’m not sure yet. Now, even if I managed to convince Farran to get his child married to you, it still doesn’t provide us power directly. Without a dragon, it’s likely they’ll make you reside in the Terra village once this is all over.” He hummed, looking like he was talking to himself rather than addressing you. “No...we need a reason to make you stay here. You’re an Ember heiress, the future chief of this legendary village. However, you definitely need to look the part. You need to prove to everyone that you’re powerful, Y/n. Shatter their expectations...and mine.” He smiled, gesturing for you to come closer.
“I was wondering...do you want to participate in the championships?"
Your eyes widened impossibly, your words stuttering as you moved forward. You couldn’t believe your ears, not one bit. It sounded too good to be true.
“Wait- really?”
“Yes.”
“But...but I don’t have a drag-”
“You can participate with Aeracus.”
No. No way. For the first time since the welcoming, you felt true happiness overtake you. Jumping, you squealed in delight, barely able to hide your glee. “Oh my god, thank you, dad! Thank you so so much.”
He chuckled as he watched you, flipping a page. “This has never been done before, so expect some backlash. I’m sure once they see the bond you have with Aeracus though, they’ll change their minds.”
You couldn’t believe it. Your father, the most skeptical dragon purist the world had ever seen, was acknowledging your bond.
“But...what about Minho?”
“Aeracus is no longer his dragon, Y/n. He has a new one.” Of course, you’d noticed. The huge black dragons he and his father had been riding. You felt a sensation of unease drift through you as you thought about the creatures, the likes of which you’d never seen before.
New lover, new dragon. He’d really left this place behind.
“Something’s off about those dragons.” He voiced the exact same concern you had. “They’re up to something. I just don’t know what.” He turned back to his book, taking his quill back up. “I’ll find out, though. Somehow. Now, go to sleep, kid. You have a big day tomorrow, now that you’re actually participating.”
You nodded, excitement coursing through your veins. “Sure, dad. Have a good night.” You bowed and turned around, your steps a lot lighter as you headed to your room, which was close by.
Reaching your room, you pushed open the door, smiling as you noticed Sylvia fast asleep at your dressing table. Moving slightly closer, you gently nudged her awake.
“Wha- I-” She shot up, mouth open as she bowed to you. “I’m so sorry, ma’am, I was just arranging and-I’ll help you out of your dress, now-”
“Sh, it’s okay. Tonight’s been tiring. You deserve the rest.” You said sadly, patting her shoulder as a yawn left your mouth. “Go to sleep, and don’t come by tomorrow. I’m perfectly capable of dressing myself. I want you to relax, okay? Head to the docks, or buy yourself some bread in the square.” You opened a tiny drawer and handed a few coins to her, enough to get some sweetbread from the bakery.
She nodded thankfully. “You’re the best, ma’am.” She giggled, accepting the coins from you.
“What have I told you about calling me ma’am? We’re the same age, Sylvia, it makes me uncomfortable. It’s Y/n to you.”
“Fine. Y/n.” She smiles, heading to the door. “Good night, Y/n.”
You grinned widely at that. You loved how easygoing she was, unlike Ann, your head maid. You weren’t royalty, and hated being treated as such. A friend was all you needed, to be honest. And Sylvia managed to fill the best friend sized hole Minho had left behind, somewhat.
She closed the door behind her, and you sighed, flopping down onto your soft bed and beginning to slip off your heels and the heavy dress, carefully placing it on a rack. The moon shone extra bright today, and you noticed the streets outside were still lit up with lanterns. Soon, they’d be turned off, and the streets would be quiet once more, except for a few drunken stragglers that didn’t want to stop celebrating.
And you would be left alone with your thoughts.
You slid yourself underneath your covers, sighing as you stared at the moon. In the distance, you could see a few dragons and their riders, flying through the air. They were quite far away, possibly near the outskirts.
Tomorrow, you’d be able to ride Aeracus like that, after so many years. Every time Minho had let you climb atop his dragon, it had just felt like it was meant to be. Deep down, you felt bad, though...for Caeli, for Minho. However, it was just the plain truth.
You smiled as you decided to buy Aeracus a bunch of treats tomorrow. Ostrich eggs, phoenix meat- you were planning to go all out. He deserved it, after all.
In a way, tonight had possibly been the worst night of your life, and simultaneously the best. Your heart felt pulled in two, as you closed your eyes and willed yourself to sleep.
You had a big day tomorrow.

mal de vivre.
The morning that Harry wakes up and you're not sleeping peacefully beside him is the worst of his entire life.
He can sense that you're not there. The air still circulates whiffs of your caramel shampoo and the breeze of your automatic fan that you always insist on leaving on all night still whirs leisurely and tickles the back of his neck.
Regardless, the room is vacant. He doesn't have to open his eyes to know that much.
For now, he remains entirely numb. Immune to the flooding sobs and intolerable agony and festering anger, he supposes it's in his best interest to stay like that for a while.
For a few days, at least. Until he can fully process your absence. He's not certain how long it takes the average person to wholly recognise an entire chunk of themselves missing, but he figures he's already suffered enough.
Surely, the universe isn't that cruel.
Your love is delightedly grand, and with its sudden unavailability, he feels so dejectedly vague.
He's clearly not perceiving time correctly, perhaps it's his distant concentration or maybe even his body's method of rejecting life and the wretched torture of its innate malice.
A few times, he's experienced sleep paralysis. The first, horrifying occasion is long-forgotten, when he was seven or so - it happened only after staying up until one in the morning to watch a horror movie that he'd been specifically warned not to watch and a towering vacuum of danger stood solid as stone at the end of his bed.
If it weren't for his fingertips subconsciously tracing featherlight scribes of your name on his forearm, he might reasonably assume he's haunted with the condition once again.
A clattering of paws on hard floorboards injects a little more reality into his thoughts, and he still can't bear, physically, to turn over and greet the sweet puppy you'd snuck home and surprised him with upon his arrival home from work around a year ago, knowing that his acceptance of a familiarly-shaped void is waiting just inches away.
Eventually, and after another chaotic scramble of claws in need of a cut, Chi is bouncing enthusiastically at his side and attempting an ambitious leap onto the mattress. She fails theatrically, landing in a resounding thud on her back and launching back to her feet, completely unaware of her owner's awaiting grief.
Masking his greatest fears with scooping a palm beneath Chi's belly and hauling her upwards to nestle into his chest, the reposition forces him to lay on his back (she's always detested laying on her side, especially when smothered with adoring cuddles) and, like the coward he truly is, his eyes focus adamantly on a random spot of the pale ceiling. With every minute shuffle, it becomes more and more achingly apparent that you're really not here.
And if everything runs correctly, you'll squirm and giggle graciously at his waking before returning his kiss, to his lips, this time, and he'll suggest applying a little moisturiser, like he always does, and you'll love him like you should.
When his eyelids snap open and his head curves breezily to your claimed side of the bed, he's somewhat unsurprised to confirm that his life truly has transformed to a dreadful bundle of tragedy. In your imposing place, is a neatly-made bed and an envelope.
A single, white envelope, stained by the sweet, flowing cursive that could flow only from your touch.
Chi leaps naturally to the spectacle, sniffing curiously at the letter and nudging it around a little, whilst Harry is so unexplainably pained that he's unable to move. Swallowing thickly, he's not certain word-for-word what lies in the confines of this envelope, but he does know it'll confirm your leaving him, and for some strange reason, he's relieved you left an explanation, at least.
A souvenir of you to hang onto forever, along with the millions of other items and memories of yours in his possession.
Carefully removing it from Chi's vicinity and replacing the object of her attention with a random squeaky toy that he'd discovered burrowed beneath his bed a few nights ago, he traces your exquisite handwriting with his fingertip and reads along with inaudible movements of his mouth; For Harry, mon amour.
In that moment, he realises profoundly that he'll never get to request hearing you say different words in your accent again.
The amount of times he implored relentlessly to hear je t'aime and have it accompanied with an endearing kiss is infinite.
Harry, my love,
I'm so incredibly sorry that I couldn't handle the pain.
Seeing your face cures any anguish I feel, but not this time.
I really, really tried; I know you did, too. I wanted it to work out, I prayed every day that our suffering would magically end and we could return to our love, I hoped that one day I would wake and cuddle you tightly and describe this awful nightmare I'd had.
Possibly, I may write to you in the future; please, don't try to contact me, it won't work and you know it's for the best. My family and close friends know where I am, where I will be, and they also know not to tell you if you ask.
I wish I could kiss all of your heartache away and protect you from all evil in this world, but I feel my presence is detrimental to your recovery.
My love for you is never-ending. Please be okay.
Forgive me and love someone else like you loved me. Let someone else love you like I loved you. Tellement, tellement.
Forever, I'll think of you and how unbelievably content I felt waking up next to you every day for seven-hundred and eighty (? - I'm estimating) mornings straight.
I will never, ever leave our love behind, and I adore you more than I can express. Your strength and resilience are admirable, and you are truly the best thing to ever happen to me.
Mon bébé, I miss you terribly.
Toujours, ton amour.
~
Chi tugs eagerly on her lead at the sight of the familiar entrance to her home, Harry in tow right behind. Sludgy snow muddies his shoes and soaks the hem of his jeans. His puppy's paws are undoubtedly drenched, too, but her fur is protected valiantly by her favourite jacket. He'd purchased it from a specialist store in France a year prior, and, since surprising her with the present upon his shared return, it'd become her primary option during the winter months.
Retrieving a reasonable pile of letters from his designated section, a rapid flick through displays bills, scams and all of the usual junk he usually receives. He offers his elderly neighbour a polite smile and holds open the door with his knee to construct a clear path for her exit.
He grimaces slightly at the teeth-shaped arc of damp dents into his mail - he hadn't particularly considered the repercussions of carrying it that way - and unclips Chi's lead, allowing her to run rampage through his airy apartment. Absently dropping his keys into its small dish of residence and taking a closer inspection at his post to infiltrate any wrong addresses or scams, he selects an apple from his fruit bowl and steals one firm chunk before noticing something peculiar.
Groomed eyebrows knitting together in confusion, he plucks one particular letter from the bunch and stacks it to the top. Perplexed by the sorely familiar curve of the writing scrawled on the front, his head shakes in denial - you wouldn't have, surely.
Discarding of all other mail on his kitchen counter, he's puzzled beyond belief; you'd left with no verbal warning and a letter that, admittedly, had been the source of several bouts of severe depression and, in spite of its awful affects, read dutifully every single day since your disappearance.
Rashly, he wishes you hadn't changed your phone number and email address shortly before leaving so he could possibly contact you regarding this mystery. However, he knows just as well as you clearly foresaw; his topic of discussion wouldn't be only the letter.
Tearing open the corner cautiously, he's incredibly delicate with checking inside the envelope once open to ensure it contains only his presumed note. Reviewing the front with a scouring gaze of disbelief, it really, truly has come from you.
He can't remember how many times he read each postcard that you'd gifted him with at the very beginning of your relationship. You'd recently made the permanent move from France to England, and, in a new country with limited knowledge of the native language, Harry had unintentionally become your beacon of comfort here.
With his fluent French and English, he was the perfect contender for kindly correcting your terminology and educating you on the essential etiquettes of Britain. Within weeks, however, your sweet smile had changed from an enjoyable sight during your frequent coffee shop meetings to something he craved.
He misses reading your silly, awful puns based around your home country, especially his favourite. A laughably unfunny joke paired with a matching scribble of the two of you; what do french fries do when they meet? They ketchup!
Harry,
I feel awful for waiting so long to speak to you again.
Your voice and your hugs. I've imagined them every single day.
I miss my Chi. How is she? I hope she's not missing her maman. Give her a kiss from me.
And the biggest kiss to yourself, because you deserve it, mon tout.
I'm inexplicably sorry for leaving so abruptly; I just couldn't take much more. The reminders were too much. Seeing your inconsolable pain every day was too much.
I'm so, so selfish, but I still believe allowing you to heal without my troubles was the best and easiest path for both of us.
I'm sure you noticed, but I may have stolen one of our pictures. It was your favourite, and that's why I had to choose that one, I suppose. Horrible, again.
I miss your dimples (and irritating you by poking them all the time). I miss your lips, they were so soft. No wonder you always bossed me around with the lip balm - I have my own now, I take it everywhere with me.
It smells like caramel.
Most of all, I miss your love. I've never known someone to love like you do. You were, are, and always will be, incredible.
Have you found someone to love yet?
Do you still think about me? If yes, please don't.
It's not fair of me to appear out of nowhere like this and not allow you a chance to reply. If you wish, post your letter to my maman's house - I'm not there, just to crush any other hope you have, but I'll receive it.
I'll be sorry forever, mon amour.
Sois gentil avec toi-même.
Câlins pour toujours, your baby.
~
Auriele,
I'm so thankful you decided to reach out again. I've missed you. Tellement, tellement.
Chi is brilliant, still eating everything and constantly in need of a haircut. She does miss you.
My hurt is still prevalent, I've accepted that it always will be. I truly don't believe it can be fixed again, but I'm still trying.
I spent the two weeks after your leaving searching for every single picture in existence of us. I cried so many times, I wish I could tell you that I'm wholly recovered and that you're fully forgiven, but I can't.
I think I counted them all. It's either three-hundred and seventy-seven or one-thousand, one-hundred and two (I have two sticky notes labelled pictures, I'm not sure which is correct.)
No one could ever love me like you do, tu es le meilleur.
I suppose that answers both of your questions.
Thank you for the chance to respond. I was incredibly confused when I received your thoughtful letter. I'm assuming by this one's destination being your maman's house, you're in France? You don't have to answer that. I would understand.
Mon bébé chéri, je t'aime.
Harry x
~
Harry,
It was the least I could do. I hurt you doubly and you never deserved that.
Tell her I love her. Buy her an ice cream for me (note the two dollars also enclosed in this envelope!)
There aren't enough apologies in the world to properly cover the extent of my mistakes, but I'll continue gathering as many as I can. And send them straight to you.
I also wish you could truthfully claim that you're okay, and I hope, with time, that you will be. It's all you ever deserved, mon chéri. You don't ever have to forgive me. I understand entirely if you hate me.
I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers were both low counts. I loved your face, as superficial as it sounds, but it truly was prettier than anything, and my favourite thing was always surrounding myself with it. Aussi longtemps que je pouvais.
My baby, I only tried my hardest to love you, and I sincerely hope I haven't ruined your idea of love so much that I'm your standard. Please, travel, find people to connect with, fall in love with a place, if not a person.
I bet Chi would love Spain. Australia, maybe? Thailand? Your choice entirely. You always were smarter than me (i.e. I left you - doesn't get much dumber.)
I am in France, feel free to ask any question you want about my current life if you decide to write back - you really don't have to. It's okay. You're still perfect.
Just not my address. It's so selfish of me to hide away from you when you're the one who deserves closure, but I'm not ready to share that information. Again, I'm sorry, and I hope you understand.
Tu me manques. Tu me manques ma maman et mon père. Tu me manques au cœur.
All my love, Auriele x
~
Every day, his thoughts are plagued with ideas of how to write his next letter. Your previous few communications ran smoothly; you seem incredibly apologetic and, as much as he would've gladly ignored the past tense use of 'love' in your most recent letter, he can't help but realise the difference from your first each time he reads it.
He's not certain why his first letter practically poured from his pen and before he knew it, it was sealed, posted and received. This time, however, he can't even construct a way to greet you.
Has distance and time really weakened your connection that much? His favourite childhood Disney movies would be ashamed.
The heartache you've endured together is insufferable, the bitterness remaining fresh and the misery continuing to roll onwards with him, and yet, you're both still alive. Perhaps, he should be a little more thankful.
He's tested out various support groups over the past few months; they appear to help in the moment, but once he returns home to a completely empty house, - aside from Chi - he realises all of his progress to be entirely fake.
How can he realistically recover from his insurmountable loss in solitude?
An apartment which used to breathe vibrant life and excitement for the future, diminished to nothing but silence.
He might as well have lost his house, too. Every second he spends there, surrounded by reminders of his grief, is draining. Of course, if he were a millionaire, he would've discovered a lovely, one bed flat with wide, open floors and windows. If he were a millionaire, though, maybe none of this agony would've ever happened.
He could’ve fixed it.
Regardless, he didn't, and now he returns home every single day, monotonous and finding solace only in rereading your letters and running through his local park with Chi, no matter the weather.
Sometimes, he hears the faint echo of your melodious voice ringing in his ear; mon doux bébé. For a moment, he believes you may be talking to him, but with a resounding giggle of contentment, you never were.
Within a month, he lost both of his sweet baby girls, and the pain is simply too much to comprehend.
Elle, mon cœur,
Firstly, I apologize for my late reply. This letter was, for some reason, incredibly difficult to write.
You hurt me never. Life hurt me, and it hurt you, too, and I'm sorry it's so cruel.
Chi adored her ice cream - vanilla, your favourite - and said thanks! (complimentary picture attached, for you).
Sympathy and apologies aren't a cure. I've received enough of them to know. I hope you have, too. We might not accept it and it might not heal our pain, but it is nice to know you have people by your side.
Mon amour, I would/could never come close to hatred for you. You are my entire heart, and you own everything within it.
I hope, one day, I can forgive you. I hope you can forgive me. We both made mistakes. We're both accountable, and so is fate. Unfortunately, it wasn't on our side, and we have to welcome that.
Your face is certainly Top Five list of physical attributes, which goes as followed:
1. your lips. I know I complained about them being dry all the time, but I miss them, still.
2. your eyes. Somewhere between the ocean and a cottage filled with flowers, they were paradise.
3. your thighs. I am a man - a broken one, but a man nonetheless - and they are certainly the most family-friendly feature I could think of.
4. your smile. Even on my darkest days, your smile was heaven. I hope you're smiling right now. I wish I could see it.
5. your face? All of the above and everything else. Was that cheating?
I wish I could leave here. I wish I could find a small, tropic island where Chi and I can get tipsy on Virgin Mary's and surf all day, but I feel it wouldn't be fair for both of us to run.
Although, Chi would certainly have a great time in Thailand. She told me so.
Did I mention she misses you? We miss you.
I have more questions than you can imagine. This is only my second letter, however, so I suppose I'll stick to three for now, (sorry for all the lists!)
How are you? Mentally? Physically?
Have you made new friends whilst you've been out there?
Would you ever visit London again?
I miss you forever.
Ton bébé.
Harry x
~
Harry,
It's more tough to write my letters than you might assume. No need to apologise, I understand.
Life is shit. I thought I had accepted that. I never imagined how evil it could be.
Chi, my baby, looks so pretty. I love her haircut (number 8694743? out of infinite).
I have heard my fair share of sympathy. At first, I felt bitter. They didn't understand what I had suffered, they didn't understand the pain I felt. With time, I realised that, sometimes, sorry is all you need to hear to feel a little better. To feel like you're managing life, at least.
I wish I could believe I deserve it, but I truly don't.
My mistakes seem perpetual. I'm constantly remembering new ones. Things I could've noticed faster, signs that I should've recognised. Yours are nothing. You made no mistakes, mon amour, please believe that. As much as fate has been my least favourite higher power for the past year, I agree about welcoming our own.
I would make a list of my personal favourites of your appearance, but I'd be here all day, and I'm meeting with a friend in an hour (your second question - check).
It wasn't fair for either of us to run. I think it's turned out for the best, however.
I can imagine Chi passed out on the beach. You both deserve a holiday. Go to Scotland, or something, at least. Just away from London.
I miss you both. Much more than I can express.
I'm well. Mentally; it's a struggle, but that's just life, I suppose. Physically; my sickness stopped a while ago. I hope your headaches did, too, but I've been searching for cures for those for a long time.
Yes! I've made quite a few close friends. They all know and love you. I'll tell them you asked.
London holds far too many memories for me to bear. You're the only one I can stand. Maybe one day.
Tellement de câlins.
Auriele.
~
The second your letter arrives and is read fully three times over, Harry's scrambling to collect his fancy paper and ink pen, thousands of ideas about how to reply brimming in his head.
Pen to paper, however, his mind is entirely blank.
You're inching closer to addressing the subject of your pain, and so is he. So far, the only discussions you've had regarding that difficult topic have ended either in awful arguments or uncontrollable, endless crying and they all occurred before your disappearance.
Since then, you've had ten months and seventeen days shared to mature from and process the situation. Perhaps, if you were to have a conversation about it now, it would be beneficial.
Harry is aware of the solution to his strange writer's block and urges to attempt to fix your hurt, but he's not quite sure if he's ready. Physically forcing himself up from his cluttered desk, he tries not to think of the main event when changing his sloppy t-shirt and joggers to jeans and a jumper; it's February, so the wind is still well and alive but, luckily for Chi and the duration of her walks, the temperatures are beginning to rise.
His destination is barely a thirty minute leisurely stroll through the city away, and he feels shameful to admit that this is his first visit in ten and a half months. Several times, he's gathered his courage to stand on the pavement, surveying the vast area but never making it closer than the protective fences.
This time, though, he's determined to make it. And he will, with je t'aime's and sweet giggles bubbling in his ears.
Your je t'aime's and her sweet giggles.
Auriele,
Life will continue to surprise us. It may be malicious, but it's also given me you, so I guess there are a few reasons to be grateful.
I think it's more like *8694744 out of infinite, and I'm sure she'll have many more unpleasant trips to the groomers in the future.
You are handling life impeccably, considering all. You deserve showers of recognition for just being here.
No one has ever been more deserving of my love, and no one ever will.
Please, don't blame yourself entirely. Yes, there were signs. Signs that we both should've seen earlier. We knew as much as everyone else. We can't know if things would be different if we'd noticed them, because they're not.
I'm glad you're enjoying life in France. Is it peaceful? Is it too far to ask if you're living with one of your new friends? What're their names, if you don't mind my asking?
If I were to go on holiday right now, Paris would be my first choice.
I'm glad you're feeling better, I hope you continue to improve mentally in the future. I wish you nothing but true happiness.
If you're ever here, I'd be honoured to see you again.
This might surprise you. Before I wrote this letter, I went to visit her.
I haven't since we were there together.
I talked to her for hours about my life and my pain and your letters and your pain and anything I'd love to say to you if I knew how. Meline always was the best listener, no offence to you. She just understands.
I miss her. I miss you. I miss my babies.
Please, send me a picture of you (always topping lists) in your next letter. I need to see you now. I bet you're glowing.
Toujours, Harry x
~
Harry, mon amour,
I feel as if I should address the end of your letter first, because I certainly wasn't expecting it. I cried a lot. I'm still crying as I write this.
It feels nice to feel.
I've been so numb to it all. I know I should sob every day, think of her every single second. I don't. That may make me an awful person, but I always preferred not to lie. Especially to you. I don't think the gravity has quite hit me yet.
Back to the normal, top to bottom of your letter.
My family is a gift. My parents, you and Meline, specifically. I've never admired anyone more.
I miss Chi. Especially today, for some reason. Send more pictures of her when you next write. (I enclosed an updated picture of me in town, if you hadn't noticed! It was taken last week.)
I had concerns. Concerns that I didn't follow up on. We knew something was wrong, but we did everything we could, right? We found help. We found medicine. Why didn't it work?
How fucking cruel can life possibly be?
It's much quieter than London. The air quality is visibly better. I am, actually. My closest friends are Leon and Aline. I'm living with them!
Paris is about as good a holiday as you can get. If I'm ever near you, whatever country it happens to be in, I'll be sure to see you.
The last part of your letter. I already touched upon it but not nearly enough.
I haven't said, heard or read her name in eleven months. I miss it. I miss your voice. And her laughs. She was so, so lively and enthusiastic for life.
It's so unfair that she didn't get the chance.
And I agree; she always was a fantastic listener. I told her about our issues more than I should've.
I wish I could hear her again. Her name wasn't Meline Risette Styles for nothing. Her laughs were so pretty. I could've listened on repeat.
I did. For a year.
I miss her.
I miss you. I miss your warmth. I miss your heart and your love and your smile and everything about you.
I miss normality.
When we thought things would be okay.
We were wrong, and hindsight, that's okay, too.
We will heal eventually, I trust that life can't take much more away from me.
Tout mon amour, Auriele x
~
Since that day, Harry's visited Meline every Sunday without fail - it's only been three weeks, but going in the first place was an unimaginable step.
He even combined Chi's walk with the most recent, and each time, entering, staying at and emerging from the cemetery becomes easier.
The first time, he paced through the gates several times before building the bravery to even step inside without running back. His flight or fight instinct had been touchy the whole time, bias towards flight the entire time.
He just wanted to be as far away from the source of his pain as possible.
At the same time, he just wanted his daughter back. Alive and healthy.
Once he'd settled, laid on the ground like a madman next to her grave, he never wanted to leave her again. He even brought her flowers and a little teddy bear from a shop he'd passed on his hurried journey there.
It was well and truly dark by the time he even considered returning home, because he'd rather be with his sweet baby than alone at home.
Now, Chi sniffs inquisitively around at the bundles of flowers placed on surrounding graves whilst Harry converses with his dead child's grave like she was as animated and eager as he remembered.
It's a little questionable for his sanity, but extremely helpful for his own mental health. And he's trying to fix them both.
He just wishes so much that he'd pushed for more tests in the hospital. If he could, he'd reject their diagnosis and prescription of heart medication and an inhaler for when her asthma flared up.
They claimed she had a weakened respiratory system and, subsequently, her heart didn't deal well under stress, mostly due to her premature birth.
They were correct.
However, they were entirely wrong when they sent you all home with a tub of medicine and advice to lower any potential stressors around her.
Harry remembers scoffing to himself; she was one, what could possibly be stressing her that much?
Apparently, a lot of things.
Your je t'aime's and her sweet giggles.
There's truly nothing better.
Auriele,
I understand completely about any emotion feeling refreshing. For a while, I felt immune to it. I cried and I got angry, but nothing ever really set in.
I'm thankful that I can feel now and it doesn't destroy me.
You're not at all a bad person, or a bad parent. Often, I wish I could forget about her. And not just to remove the pain for a day or two. Also, I appreciate the honesty.
Important things must be talked about first. And while this paragraph isn't quite at the top of my letter, it certainly is my most admiritive.
You're so, so unbelievably beautiful. Even more so, now.
Your eyes are still paradise. That picture is stuck onto the cork board in the kitchen forever.
We did absolutely everything in our power to help our baby. As soon as we noticed an issue, we took her to the hospital. Maybe they accidentally underestimated her condition, maybe they just assumed it'd be treated with that medication.
Either way, we helped her as much as we could. And you were, are, and always will be the most incredible mother.
Meline was lucky, truly. She loved you so much.
As it turns out, life can be our greatest enemy. It's difficult to control and even harder to accept, but everything happens for a reason, I suppose.
Leon and Aline sound wonderful. I know it's not my place, but tell them I said thank you for being there for you? You don't have to.
I've never known someone deserve a full, healthy life more than our sweet girl, and it's an injustice to steal that opportunity from her at such a young age.
She would've been two next week. I'm sure you don't need reminding, but I'm still trying to handle my feelings about it. I already know her birthday is going to be the worst day since she died.
Meline Risette Styles deserves the world, as do you. Please don't be afraid to take it. You've earned it.
Her name still brings me so much joy; little honey, pleasant little laugh. It was such an apt description, in her short life.
Life can always take more, but it gives things that are so wonderful. Sois optimiste.
Tout mon amour et câlins, Harry x

A Thomas Lightwood Bisexual Story (Part 1)
Art by NairaFeather
Takes place AFTER Chain of Gold,so will have spoilers.
Thomas Lightwood was currently at the Devil Tavern, drinking a ginger beer, and trying to understand his own feelings.
He didn't want to admit that he was struggling to understand what was happening to him. After telling Alastair Carstairs to never talk to him again,he expected to feel lighter, the rumors Alastair spreaded about his father were awful, and it caused pain to his family. It made Gideon angry,it made Sophie cry. And yet, there he was, wondering if he was too hard on Alastair.
Couldn't he simply forget all about it? Maybe that was why he asked for the beer in the first place, but then again, getting drunk would only make him forget for a period of time. He would remember eventually.
Still,it wasn't like he had a better idea anyway. The Devil was quite full this night, werewolves screaming and having fun, vampires drinking blood with some kind of weird extra ingredient, not to mention the faeries and their silly giggles.
It was hard to focus on the drinking with all that noise,Polly herself was quite curious when she saw Thomas enter all by himself. He couldn't blame her,The Merry Thieves were always together,it was hard for one of them to show up alone there.
But Thomas desperately needed to be alone. He loved his friends, but James, Matthew and Christopher wouldn't understand what he was going through now,and that was not a surprise for Thomas.
-Give me another one Polly,please.-Thomas asked,Polly stared at him with a concerned expression.
-You sure about this? Aren't your parents worried about you or something?-She asked.
-They always are,but i don't have time for their blabbering,at least not today.-Said Thomas.
-Got it.-Polly said, giving Thomas another ginger beer.
Thomas gave her a weak smile, and drank from his beer. In times like these,he wished he had the same ease Matthew had in getting drunk. Too bad,it would still take a little more for him to get there.
-Mind if i take a seat beside you?-Asked a female voice, unknown to Thomas, but she had a strong accent.
-Not at all.-Thomas said, turning his head to see who was the woman.
She had black hair, almost the same color of James',her eyes were light brown, and her skin light.
But what really caught Thomas' attention was the Voyance Rune on her hand. She was a Shadowhunter.
Thomas knew he couldn't hide his shock for a moment. A Shadowhunter girl in the Devil Tavern? Surely she was either mad or didn't knew of the reputation of the place.
-A fellow Shadowhunter in a place like this? Surely this was the last thing i thought i'd find here.-She said.
Thomas carefully chose his next words. It was kind of weird,he grew up with three women in his house, his mother and his two sisters. It was easy for him to talk with Lucie,Cordelia, even other girls that usually showed up in the balls. So why did it felt weird talking to this one?
-Pardon me,have we met before?-Asked Thomas.
-We did not. Or maybe we did. I can barely remember faces that i see in balls or other occasions.-She said.
Thomas didn't knew what to say. Surely he wasn't expecting anyone besides Polly to talk to him. He never really understood why some people would simply approach him for a conversation.
If Matthew were there,he could chat with the girl himself,or maybe if James were there,he would come up with a excuse to make them leave.
But they were not there, and Thomas had to be a gentleman,or Sophie would consider herself a terrible mother.
-I do believe we have not met before. My name is Thomas Lightwood.-He said, waiting for her answer.
-I am Giovanna Monteverde, pleased to meet you,Thomas. I am relieved to see i will have some company tonight.-She said.
-Monteverde? I think this is the first time i have met one of your family. Which is a little strange, considering that i have lived in Idris for a good part of my life.-Said Thomas.
-It is the first time i meet a Lightwood myself! Though your family is a lot more popular than mine. I do believe it is because of a certain Benedict Lightwood?-She said, smirking.
Thomas nearly blushed.
-Oh yes, there is quite a story there. Not really something us,Lightwoods, appreciate anyway.-Said Thomas.
-I see. Anyways,i have always been at the Rome Institute. Have you ever visited there?-She asked.
-I have not. But what is an Italian Shadowhunter doing in London?-Asked Thomas.
-I turned eighteen a few weeks ago,and i have decided to visit the London Institute. After all,it was here where the Mandikhor attacks happened, was it not?-She asked.
Thomas blinked,he didn't even liked to remember the Mandikhor. Their deadly poison took Barbara from him,and that wound would never heal.
-I see. So you took interest in London due to that? I assure you it was quite an awful time for us all. Luckily,we have an antidote,so if more Mandikhors show up,they won't be able to harm us that way never again.-Said Thomas.
-Oh i took interest in London for many different reasons. I heard balls in this time of the year are absolutely gorgeous. I'm excited to see all by myself.-She said.
But Thomas could barely understand her. The noise was way too loud. To be expected, after all, they were in the Devil Tavern.
-Would you like to talk in a more silent place?-Asked Thomas.
She nodded,and followed him upstairs.
When they got in the room, the thought of being alone with a girl crossed Thomas' mind, causing a strange sensation.
It was a little hard for Thomas to understand himself sometimes. He knew that people were different from each other. Even in aspects, that technically, they should be all the same.
One example was his very cousin,Anna Lightwood. He knew that dressing like a man wasn't the only thing Anna did. He knew she could seduce any girl she wanted, even though she was a girl herself.
But Thomas didn't quite felt like that. He felt attraction to girls,he knew that. But it wasn't only to them. His time in the Shadowhunter Academy made him realize that.
He felt attraction to boys too. But it seemed way too messy to think about that. He wasn't sure of the reactions something like that would cause.
His family did seem to accept that. His Uncle Gabriel and his Aunt Cecily loved Anna, and they got really mad when people used bad words to describe their daughter. All the others seemed to care for Anna the same way. His parents, his cousins too.
Still,Thomas simply didn't felt ready to reveal anything. Perhaps he was still figuring out who he trully was.
-Quite scandalous, isn't it? What would our society think if they saw a lady and a gentleman that do not have an understanding getting in a room together?-She said, laughing.
-Is that a problem for you? Also,we are only having a conversation. How could something like that be scandalous?-Thomas asked.
-Oh,i don't have a problem i assure you. But my parents would definitely have,if they knew i came to a place like this, they would be quite furious with me.-Giovanna said.
-They are not with you? Well, that's not surprising. I went to Madrid all by myself as well.-Said Thomas.
-You did? Well, seems like we have quite a bit of things in common. We are both 18 years old. Both went to different countries to visit different Institutes. And both don't really care about this whole "understanding" thing.-She said.
After Thomas locked the door,Giovanna suddenly kissed him.
It took him a few seconds to understand what was happening there. She was a stranger, still, they were kissing. Maybe he was not crystal clear in his intentions? He really brought her there just to talk.
They broke the kiss, both in need of air. Her lips tasted like alcohol and something sweet, almost like strawberry.
-Don't take me wrong,i don't really do this with every gentleman i see.-She said.
-I think you may have misunderstood me. I wasn't planning on...-Thomas was saying, but he didn't even knew how to finish that sentence.
-I was though. Unless you have an understanding with some lady in London? If you do,i am more than ready to leave.-Giovanna said.
Thomas just stood there for a moment, thinking about the answer he could give her. He could lie,lie and make her leave him alone there. Seemed like the more reasonable thing to do. He was a gentleman, and he didn't want to ruin her reputation, like a man once did with Eugenia.
Still, was that what he really wanted? If she was visiting London, then certainly they would meet again, probably at the Institute at any moment. But he could have this little secret of his.
-Should i leave,Thomas?-She asked again.
Thomas shook his head.
-No.-He said,and kissed her again.
They fought for dominance, deepening the kiss as they moved towards the small bed in the room. It wasn't a big room really, but then,Thomas never thought he would ever do something like this.
Giovanna unbottoned his shirt, revealing Thomas' tanned muscled body, she ran her hands over his chest and his hard abs,it was quite the sensation.
-Raziel bless the Shadowhunter training.-She said,Thomas almost laughed. It was surely something a lady should never say. But he didn't care, and Giovanna didn't seemed to care either.
-Is this okay for you? I truly do not wish to do something you are not okay with.-Thomas said.
-Do not worry,Thomas. Nobody in London knows me,and i don't really care about what people think of me. And it isn't like you are ruining me or anything. I want this too.-She said.
-Very well then.-Thomas said, taking his shirt off and laying with her on the bed.
"The Next Morning"
Thomas woke up with the sunlight on his eyes. He still was at the Devil's,and the memories of the last night invaded his mind.
Giovanna. They had slept together. It was definitely one of the most amazing nights he ever had. Surely one he would never forget.
He wasn't wearing any clothes, and only the bed sheets covered him.
-Damn.-Thomas said, after realizing that all his clothes were scattered on the floor. It was quite a wild night.
He heard footsteps, though he wasn't really sure if he had completely woke up yet. Perhaps he was still sleeping?
-How strange. I don't really remember locking the door after we left.-Said a voice he knew well.
Matthew. What bloody hell was he doing there so early?
-I'm pretty sure we left the key with Thomas.-Said James.
-We didn't find him anywhere though.-Said Christopher.
"Oh bloody damn hell!" Thomas thought, they were all here? And he wasn't even dressed!
-Thankfully,i always bring my spare key with me.-Said Christopher.
There was no time to do anything. They entered the room and saw Thomas in that situation.
All of them looked absolutely in shock. Matthew looked like he was about to laugh. Christopher was blinking quite fast, and James gasped.
-Tom? What on earth? Why is the room this messy? Are these your clothes on the floor?-James asked.
Thomas looked at the window. Alastair crossed his mind. He was probably awake and living his life as if nothing happened. He probably didn't even care if Thomas wouldn't like to talk to him ever again.
Yet,he was still there,on his mind.
Perhaps there was more than just attraction and sex in the world. Perhaps love was an actual possibility.
But Thomas wasn't sure if he would ever figure that out.

hi! can i have a matchup for pjo and sherlock? i'm female, she/her, and i'd like to be paired with a boy. i'm 5'0, filipina, with dark hair thats dyed blue at the ends, brown eyes, and tan skin. i wear blue thin-framed glasses, and i'm pretty girly fashion wise (pink sweaters, skirts) i'm really loud, sarcastic, and kind. i love poetry, painting, horror movies, and i have a passion for theatre. i speak english, tagalog, and spanish. i like to think i'm smart, so i tend to show it off.
hello, yes you can! thanks for your patience (one of these days I’ll learn how to keep a consistent updating schedule)
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Tumblr media
I ship you with Apollo!
yes, I know he’s a god but nobody said I couldn’t ship ya’ll with the gods? you two seem like a good match. also, I have not read Trials of Apollo so I’m not basing him off of that, I’m basing him off of Apollo in the PJO series
he is ridiculously extra, with literally anything he does. he goes to every end to impress you even though a simple smile from him sends your heart fluttering
he is identically loud and sarcastic, and the two of you have so much fun messing with and getting him in trouble with the rest of the gods.
you like poetry? you shouldn’t have ever told him that. everyday you wake up to a note from him with some ridiculous haiku and a little heart drawn in the corner it’s kind of cute though, you have to admit
multi-lingual? he thinks it’s hot. He can speak them all, so he loves to have conversations with you in each one let’s be real though, he uses this specifically to whisper terms of endearment to you. his favorite is “mi amor”
he loves it when you show off your intelligence he thinks it’s sexy and will definitely tell you that
he’s enthralled by your love of painting and will compliment and critique your work. he’s not afraid to let you know when he thinks you should do something different or change something, and he does it in such a loving way and you can practically see the passion in his eyes. half the fun of it is watching him analyze your work and his smile that lights up the room
dates with him are typically casual, something sporty, but occasionally he dresses up and takes you to a theatre and the two of you watch a production together
he loves your girly sense of fashion! especially the skirts
he will watch horror movies with you, but if you’re watching them late at night, don’t expect this boy to stay awake. he’ll claim that it’s because the sun’s gone down and he’s got to be “rested for the next dawn” but don’t buy into it, he’s just trying to cover up the fact that horror movies scare the shit out of him
Sherlock
Tumblr media
I ship you with Sherlock!
he’s not a people person, and opening up is hard for him, so be patient with him
it would take Sherlock a while to realize that you hold a special place in his heart. the first time he met you was probably during a case. you were drawing some conclusions from the evidence given and he disagreed on one, which led to a heated argument. you managed to win, and it left him speechless and frustrated, so logically he went home to 221B and was on the couch mulling over it until John came home and made him get up and eat something.
the next day, he asked you to come and help him analyze some samples of materials found at the crime scene. you accepted and the two of you spent the whole afternoon and well into the night in the kitchen analyzing and discussing the case. by 2 am, you had solved it. afterwards, solving cases together (along with John) became a regular occurance and you joined their little crime solving duo.
eventually, he would begin to find himself smiling around you. and that’s when he knew, although John’s the one who finally made the two of you admit your feelings for each other after a particularly dangerous case
while you two make such a good team, you’re a nightmare to work with. it’s almost like having two Sherlocks with all of the sarcasm and showing off of your intelligences. however, where he lacks in showing kindness, you step up and bring a gentler side, and the people around you appreciate that greatly.
if when you live at 221B, chances are you have paintings spread all over the place, and Sherlock likes them there so he can always look at one and appreciate it’s beauty. he plays his violin while you paint and/or read/write poetry. when you need a specific word for a piece of poetry, just describe it to him and he’ll give you a few options to work with he’s like a walking dictionary
you watched a horror movie with him once, and it was the worst decision. he pointed out every flaw and figured out the ending of the movie within the first ten minutes and chose to do all of that out loud. he promised not to do it again, but you’ll probably play it safe and just stick to watching them with John on nights Sherlock is out/in his mind palace
he’s also not an overly affectionate person, and isn’t big on touch, so it’s most likely that you have to be the initiator. while he wouldn’t admit it he loves when you play with his hair. when you two are alone, he’ll lay his head in your lap and close his eyes. it’s times like that that you think it’s the most peaceful he’s ever been.
he’d love for you to teach him the languages you know. he has a knack for picking up things, so he’ll learn quickly and soon you two will be conversing solely in that language much to John’s annoyance

Power Style - Chapter Seven : The shooting
I wake up before my alarm. I'm way too excited for today. The hard work I put in these last few days is finally going to come to life before my eyes.
I have quite some time before I have to be at the shoot, so I lay in bed for a bit, scrolling on my phone. I go through social media and I obviously see pictures of BTS. It's weird to think that I know them now.
As I head to my kitchen, my phone rings. It's too early for this but I pick up anyway.
« Hello? » I ask, not knowing the number that's calling.
« Hiiii! I'm so excited for today, I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd call you! Fancy some coffee? »
I recognize Hoseok's voice, and it made me realize I completely forgot to add their numbers to my contact list.
« Um.. sure why not! I'm not ready though »
« No problem! I'll give you some time to get ready, and pick you up in.. let's see.. half an hour? »
« Perfect! I'll send you my address »
We hang up and I immediately type in my address while walking to my bathroom. I hop in the shower, and enjoy the hot water waking up my body. I head to my wardrobe, leaving a trail of wet footprints on the floor.
I make my mind up about my outfit rather quickly. I'm going to be standing up all day, so flats for sure. I go for a simple jeans and t-shirt, which is probably what I'll be wearing all week.
Tumblr media
I head back to the bathroom, put on just a bit of makeup to look fresh. While I'm finishing up, Hoseok sends me a text. « Here in 5 »
Just enough time to put my coat on and head out the door.
He jumps in my arms as I get to him. I really love his energy. He's dressed very casually, no makeup on, he obviously knows how today is going to go.
We get in the car, and he talks about how happy he is to do this collaboration. He loves fashion (and it shows) but he really enjoys partnerships, shootings and all that goes with it.
We head to Starbucks, not wanting to think too much about what to drink.
I have a simple latte, so does he.
We sit down for a bit and he asks me about the ideas behind the shoot.
« I love it! It's gonna be so cool! »
I'm glad he likes it! I hope the others feel the same way too.
We head back to the car that drives straight to the shoot.
As soon as we get there, I get into Director mode.
« Ok, Hoseok, let's get your makeup done, we'll then get you dressed and we can start the shoot.»
He gets very professional too, simply nodding at what I say and heads to the makeup station.
I take the opportunity to fix last minute details regarding the visual.
About an hour later everyone is ready to start shooting. We take a few pictures with the first look, and do a part of the video. He changes to his second look and we keep going.
We're all getting hungry at this point, but he stays extremely professional. I can tell thats he's getting tired but he keeps going. He moves the way he's told to, and does what he has to do.
It's 1 pm and we're about to stop for the day. Hoseok is now messing around with the collection, kind of done being serious.
He's walking around with a shoe on his head. It actually looks good.
« Hoseok, could you go back to the set? I wanna try one last thing »
He obeys and starts being serious again.
« No, keep going, put the shoe back on your head. » I indicate to him.
He does as I say, and I tell the photographer to shoot. It looks amazing.
Tumblr media
« Thanks Hoseok, I think we have everything we need. Thanks everyone, let's call it a day! »
I let everyone one go for today, afternoons will be meant for editing the day's pictures. It's the only way we can work this out.
Hoseok is back in his normal clothes now, with a packet of doritos in his hands. He comes towards.
« How did I do? » He asks
« You were amazing Hoseok, thank you for being so professional »
« Please call me Hobi, we're past first-names. »
« Hobi » I smile at him.
« Wanna go for lunch? » He asks enthusiastically
« Yeah sure! I just need to wrap a few things up here. »
I go to my team to give them instructions for the rest of the day. They're meant to send me everything as soon as it's edited.
Hobi and I spend the rest of the day together. We go for lunch then shopping, and we really have a fun time together.
I decide to go home, knowing I still have work to do, and need to rest for tomorrow. We set up a dinner date for after the shooting is over.
I get home and look at the results of today's work. It's perfect. I work for a couple of hours, before going to bed.
While I'm starting to fall asleep, I get a text from Hobi. « By the way! Have fun with Jin tomorrow! 😉 »
I can't help but smile.
I wake up in a hurry. I can't wait for this to be over, I'm exhausted already.
I rush to the set, grabbing some coffee on the way. Jin there already, getting his makeup done. Thank God my team knows what to do.
He sees me walk in, and immediately says
« There she is! WorldWide Cutie Girl! »
« Hi Jin! » I say back, lightly blushing.
« You look beautiful today! »
I thank him with a head bow and get to work.
Everything is already set up from yesterday, we just need to adjust a few lightings.
We start the shoot, and Jin looks very good. I mean, VERY good. The way he looks on picture is so far from his personnality, but I like it. He brings his spark to the shoot as well, joking around and being goofy, but getting the job done nonetheless.
We get through the shoot seamlessly, the different looks all looking great on him.
Tumblr media
I start packing my things up and getting ready to leave when Jin walks towards me.
« Are you leaving? »
« Yes, I have to get home and keep working on the campaign.. We have so much to do in such little time. »
« I see. » His energy is completely different. I feel intimated by him right now. He's taller than me and is standing very close to me. I have to look up to see him. « Could I at least offer you a ride home? » He's looking at me with a look that I can't describe. I think I see anticipation, and maybe lust?
I swallow before answering, feeling a tingling in my stomach « Sure, thank you. »
We sit in the car in silence. I don't get why I'm feeling this way. There's a clear tension in the car, and neither of us can figure out how to break it.
We arrive at my place, I thank him again and head up to my apartment.
I start working again and lose track of time. My intercom rings, bringing me back to the real world. I look at the time. Shit 8pm! Where did the day go? I realize I haven't eaten anything while I walk to my door.
« Who is it? » As I say that, the video turns on, and I see Jin.
« Pizza delivery » he answers.
I'm kind of surprised but I'm not sure if it's in a good or a bad way. I let him up anyway.
I open my door as he comes out of the elevator.
« I hope you don't mind, I figured you were very busy and would enjoy some food. I can give it to you and leave if you want. »
I'm touched by the reason he's here.
« Please don't be silly, come on in. » I move to the side to let him in.
I feel very conscious of my home as he walks in. Tae mentioned that he lives in the fancy part of Seoul, and given BTS's success, his home is probably as luxurious as Tae and Yoongi's.
He walks in and looks around him, setting the pizzas down on the kitchen counter. I don't know how to act. He looks so small in here.
I live in a 50 m2 apartment. The kitchen and living room are both in the same room, but unlike at Tae and Yoongi's place, there's no separation between them. The couch is almost in the kitchen, and I most definitely don't have space for a dining table. I still feel very comfortable in this apartment. It's the first one I've owned by myself, and I've made it my own safe space.
"Your home is lovely" Jin says "It ressembles you" He's now looking at me with a smile.
I can't help but look at the ground. I mumble a "Thank you". I feel ashamed in front of this huge megastar. I'm standing in my little home, wearing my pyjamas. I feel like a little girl, not the Director of his next partnership.
He notices my discomfort. "Are you hungry?" He heads to the kitchen as he speaks, and looks for plates. I go to help him, I'm not sure I want him opening every cabinet.
We head to the couch and start eating. We opened a bottle of wine I had stored in the fridge. We're just siting and talking about a lot of things but nothing personal. I think he feels like I don't want to go there.
As I'm laughing at one of his jokes, I feel his glare on me. My giggling stops slowly as I look down to my almost empty glass. He brushes off a loose strand of hair from my face.
"You are beautiful, Gina" I look up at him as he says those words. He has the same look in his eyes as he did today. I sense the lust now, I'm sure of it.
My stomach starts tightening up, while I keep looking him in the eyes. The only thing I notice right now is the way he's looking at me right now, and our knees barely touching.
He breaks the gaze and stutters "Um..I..um" He clears his throat before going on "I'd better get going, you have a long today tomorrow again"
"Uh yeah sure" I'm still shaken about what just happened. "Thank you for the pizza." I start to stand up as I speak
"My pleasure. No, please stay where you are. I'll let myself out" He takes my hand and kisses it goodbye "You have a good night, Gina"
He's gone. I'm left with my thoughts about this evening. I'm not sure if it's the wine or Jin, but I feel very light.
