Prompt 84
Amity Park absolutely adores her little ghostling, her little Gatekeeper who was of her own ectoplasm, reborn from her own blood in the center of her new heart. She absolutely adores her baby, practically a newborn, being only a year dead!
So of course she had to gush and boast about her little phantom to the other city spirits! They all got together to gossip sometimes after all. And both Smallville and Fawcett started to gush about their own little ones back!
Gosh they should set up a playdate at some point, her little phantom could use some friends in the mortal realm. Well some more friends, three is obviously not enough. Oh, Gotham and Bludhaven have come over as well! It’s a playdate then!
Now if only each of their world’s timelines were synced up, but at least everyone is around the same age!

I think a lot about how we only get like one or two scenes of law actually interacting with his little sister, but it’s so glaringly obvious what kind of older brother he was to her through all his interactions as an adult. every time he pulls a morbid prank on the strawhats; the genuine joy of reuniting with his crew; his protectiveness and the way his crew’s safety comes before anything else. it’s so clear what a loving, doting, and insufferable older brother he must’ve been. you know if they grew up together he would’ve done that thing that older siblings do where they lie to you about how the world works and then just let you believe it until you’re like, 25. he would’ve walked her to school and tied her shoes for her and earnestly attempted to help her with her homework. and it kills me a little bit that I don’t think law recognizes that in himself; that the parts of him that were lami’s brother and his parent’s son are still alive and well in who he is today.

best part of being a femme trans man is that many of my childhood "girl" interests are recontextualized in retrospect. like, there's the classic trans struggle of "oh but I enjoyed some aspects of my assigned gender growing up, what does that mean for me? did I really enjoy them? am I really trans?" etc, and obv everyone with these thoughts needs to work through these emotions and find the "answer" that works for their life, and makes them feel best, and grieve their chid self if they need to. but I've got, like, the cheat code. you know? like what, I mained princess peach in mario kart growing up? yeah, that wasn't because "I was a girl" lol. it was cause I was a flaming effeminate 12 year old queen with a budding interest in drag and I got away with it too. and I'd do it again. then repeat for every other instance of me being a child femme, easy.

Do you have a preference for you the younger or older twin is?
Nope! Well, more specifically, I do have a preference and that is simply to not know. The difference is so minuscule that it’s way more interesting to me to have it deliberately unclear.

The age gap au is so cute it’s one of my favorite aus now, but out of curiosity. How old are april and casey in this au? and when will they gonna meet each other?
Let's keep the age gaps going. April is 12 and Casey is 13 (they're in the same grade but Casey got held back). And although you didn't ask, Karai is 12 as well.
I was thinking of Karai finding them first during a vacation to the US. She has a disagreement with Saki and wanders off only to spot a large rat man scavenging for food. She keeps the mutant family a secret cause she's pissed at Saki and loves how Splinter and the boys treat her (like a real family and not abusive). She visits every summer.
Casey and April later meet the family when Raph sneaks out of the lair and finds an injured turtle (Spike). They convince Raph to let them help and eventually that leads to them becoming frequent babysitters so Splinter can go scavenging more often instead of relying so heavily on worms and algae.
