UMMMMMMMMM if you're new to this school, Our Wonderland is my big epic queer horror visual novel starring a plucky intrepid put-together very awkward and anxious biromantic ace guy who's JUST TRYING TO FIGURE HIMSELF OUT except that HORRIFIC THINGS ARE HAPPENING and also some of his friends may or may not be in love with him and HE'S GOTTA WORK THROUGH THAT TOO and also all of them die a lot and also also there may be some cannibalism or something.

Currently there are four and a half parts of this bad boy out, which is like 223k words and 337 CGs of HEART-CRUSHING EMOTIONALLY COMPROMISING GOODNESS.

BUT GUESS WHAT ALSO THIS UPDATE HAS SOME NEW FEATURES BECAUSE YA BOY FINALLY BUCKLED UP:

A new CG gallery that took me way too long to code!

A new music room so you can listen to all the sweet sweet tracks whenever you want!

A new censored mode so you can pixelate the gore if you want!

Optimized music files! Chapter save names! Some other stuff you probably don't care about but I did anyway!

The big GUI update is still to come BUT AT LEAST THIS IS STARTING TO LOOK LIKE A SOMEWHAT HALFWAY DECENTLY PROFESSIONAL GAME maybe.

BEFORE I FORGET, BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE CONTENT WARNINGS THOUGH. Despite the bright colors and my general over-exuberance about everything, this game is Very Dark and for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY because there's a lot of violent stuff that happens and also a lot of language because I can't stop swearing when I write apparently and also some overarching sexual things and potentially uncomfortable sexual stuff BECAUSE THIS IS ALSO AN ACE HORROR GAME and I've somehow shoved all my messed-up feelings about coming to terms with being ace in here LAWL.

umbrella - i assume this doesnt need an answer for both of them, bcuz they belong 2 the same story. i imagine ian and rammys story being a vidya game, and i guess itd b a psychological horror? which feels like, pretentious to say but the main scaries of the story are how much ians life sucks and he wants 2 die. so... i think itd count. thats all overarching stuff tho... most of ian n rammys time spent together is lightheared, i think. theyre two dudes hanging out and one of them is slowly coming to terms with the fact his suicidal thoughts won. whatever genre that is

pencil - WAHHH it depends a lot of the time... ian and rammy have definitely made a big resurgence in my brain recently (past month) bc im 18 and can post bout em, but also just cuz i love them sooo much and want to chew on them constantly. id say i write abt/draw them pretty frequently tho!! i doodle them on my school work and in notebooks a lot and they have some of the bigger galleries on my toyhouse lawl. i dont write much directly for their universe, but ive typed... many paragraphs to my friends just braindumping the shit i think about them. so, yeah, less often than id like, but theyre up there in my priorities of ocs :3

apple (for ian) - GRAHHHHHHHHHHH u dont know what demons uve unleashed w this. i already twed this post for suicide but im gonna move this part under the cut bc mentioning ians dad specifically ties a lot into the suicide aspect of the story

OKAY SO. ians family consists of his mom, sister, and him. his dad was in the picture when he was a little kid, like early elementary age, but ditched after some time. his relationship with both parents was relatively normal, they definitely couldve done a better job raising him, but they were never intentionally hurtful nor did they scar him at all. (well, correction, his MOM didnt scar him at all)

after ians dad left, though, his side of the family still kept in touch... they gave very flimsy reasonings for his fathers absence, why he couldnt make it to holidays, why he wasnt saying all these things directly, etc. it kept things strained and tense as the family knew things were being kept from them but never got to know why. the last interaction ian ever had w his dads side of the family was on his 18th birthday, where his uncle gifted him a silver handgun with his name carved into the handle. it was a hollow attempt to connect with ian, a display of violent masculinity that ian would later use to try and take his own life.

i dont have it fully figured out what this *means* for ians character, but its something i go insane about. ians only memories of his dad are him doing stereotypical masculine dad things w him, like fishing. maybe he didnt interact w ian ass if he was his child, but if he was his son, and that improper socialization is part of the reason he hates himself- why the gun is what kills him. but... i dunno really. ians social anxiety, addiction, and general collapsing in on himself are cuz of a life time of mental illness that went unchecked until he successfully isolated himself to the point no one *could* care, not just cuz daddy give him gun.

okay! that is NOT what u asked at all but now u know it. hehehe. of course ian and rammys story is a big wip forever so excuse me for any side tangents and/or general plot points w loose ends

but! as for his actual relationships w family (ill include sister since his relationship w mom isnt rlly fleshed out yet):

he and his mom havent spoken in 6 years, nor have he and his sister. he slowly faded out of their lives when he moved away, partly out of a subconscious desire to isolate and partly due to just not having the social confidence or energy to maintain regular communication w his family. his mom is the first person he talks to when he escapes his Puter, and she's his rock in his remaining months of recovery. shes very underdeveloped as a character atm, but what is certain is she tries her hardest to understand her sons struggles and support him, offering to pay for therapy for him. ian loves his mommy lalala

ian and his sister are... dddifferent. ian also had an average relationship w his sister, but shes a lot more upfront with him when it comes to talking about how his 6 year absence effected her than their mom. their mom, while wanting her children to seek help for their respective struggles, doesnt really want to actively talk about those things with them. shes terrified of saying the wrong thing, and it doesnt help that she doesnt even have a clue what *to* say. ians sister, though, isnt afraid to tell him "hey man we fucking missed you. your absence hurt a lot because i didnt have any friends either, and i wish we couldve had eachother. jackass" post main-story they are friendly and hang out. during his time w rammy, ian does talk about his thoughts on his sister before he left, that being that shes a "crazy bitch"... family <3

BWJSHSOSHSOS SERIOUSLY THOUGH DUDE... i was actually very active in the hs community back when the epilogues and hs2 came out and i never read the epilogues cause god bless i heard how bad they were but i did read hs2... only a little bit though..... i feel like it's kind of a marvel how absolutely shit and a complete failure both of those things were in every single way especially as a follow up to the juggernaut that is Homestuck. like. Yiffany. They created Yiffany. And thought it was a good idea.

CALLIIIIII I AM A FAN i literally never think abt homestuck anymore which is why you wouldn't have known. it dropped from my brain in like? Late 2020 i think? early 2021? but. i was fixated on it for a WHILE and first read hs in middle school because i really liked a boy and wanted to impress him (it worked. he later took me to homecoming freshman year) and ended up loving it for like the next 10 fucking years i guess. Oh God its been 10 years 💀

dirk and jake are 100% my favorites. i like themSO so much. especially dirk though dirk is special to me he's one of the only characters i've ever cared to cosplay i love him with my whole heart still even to this day. he is just Special. ARADIA IS ALSO A CHARACTER I LOVE SOOOOO MUCH THOUGH INCREDIBLY BASED ANSWER !!!!!!!

oh my god the epilogues i remember reading them pre much alongside everyone else when they first dropped and the more i read this fucking. divine horror overcame me. i literally cried so hard over dirk strider i think i got nauseous. No fawking joke. what they did to him is unforgivable. i also did not know truly what i was walking into (i should've waited to see reviews 💀) but i rushed in. if i could go back and unread it well. i would. my friend cam and i were just talking about yiffany like it's a shame she is named. Well. That. And the Everything. because yiffany DOES have a cool design. the shame and horrors. God. i have also been reminded that dirk named the stolen ship Theseus. i can't stand that guy... <- said with a clenched fist and so much love and rage boiling in my heart

OH AND i did follow up on both pesterquest (which ive played all of/own) and also enjoyed it minus the insertion of ultimate dirk into dirk's portion of the game. Get the hell out boy just give me time with dirk. Okay. none of the hs2 nonsense. but i fucking loved dave's route as well. definitely several i consider well done :D and i've also played all of hiveswap friendsim which was very very fun for me too

So. Leviathans in supernatural could have been really played for the long run, there were implications that not all of them were forced back to “The Purg”

Leviathans can mutate an angel, so why cant they mutate other beings? Talking full body horror werewolf mutated to the point of radiation poisoning like distress type of mutations. Cosmic being being sucked dry by these parasites and infected by a madness (space rabies?)

Recently I went down the cool DnD monster hole and I thought “hey, what if a Leviathan mutated a Mimic?” got kinda demogorgon-esque and that led me to the epic and cool idea of what a leviathan dick would look like. or vag. or both at the same time (long story)

Anyway this all leads to “How would Castiel treat a half-human character or monster?” regardless of what they have or havent done. He respects human life sure but he was antagonistic with Sam at first and downright ready to kill a CHILD who was half-demon (not for the first time nor the last)

Would late-season Cas drop kick a half-human child? likely not, but I have decided to ask around for opinions on what people think Castiel would do on his own in reference to any not full human in any capacity. (unknown if hes ever met garth which I thought about a LOT) bc he isnt exactly nice to werewolves or vamps or anyone he isnt on neutral/decent terms with and even then its a moment-to-moment things.

What do you think Castiel would act like around non-humans (or angels)? Would he drop kick a child just for being in proximity of a hunt bc the adult monsters were doing not great stuff?

But umm, i may be a bit biased bcuz cas is one of my top 3 faves (besides belph & jack), but I do genuinely think, at least after meeting jack, he would be more lenient. If its the later seasons before Kline..? um, im not sure but probably not.

The winchesters aren't the friendliest to kids, especially not when they're monsters, but over the series (ignoring a few certain instances) they have been willing to spare kids/teens that were half-monster for a number of reasons. most of those reasons are, admittedly, because they have a way of turning them back (e.g. Vampires. Literally just vampires that haven't drinken blood yet lawl. sometimes other things i guess But Not Really), and also y'know, Garth; and since Cas has picked up most of his hunting knowledge from them, i imagine in certain situations, he would copy that behavior and let them go :c But also can we talk about garth can we talk about cas and garth meeting Can we do that

I would love to talk more abt the leviathan concept too though, i love making spn species less boring and more awesome sauce 🔥🔥🔥
