Ok so like I know people are probs tired of the whole Tony Stark meeting Bruce Wayne crossover ideas I see from time to time but get this: Tony Stark hosting a gala and of course the Avengers are invited but so is recluse pretty boy Bruce Wayne, Prince of Gotham and the Avengers are convinced he's some sort of cryptid or spy because as far as they know or heard, he never leaves Gotham, kinda like how Daredevil only micromanages ten blocks in Manhattan. And of course this is Battinson so Tony is trying real hard to make it seem like he's not mad/jealous that his own team like the twilight looking guy who looks like he wants the floor to swallow him whole better than him at his own party, but it's hard to be mad at a man who looks like he'd rather be anywhere but here and is so shy it physically hurts to look him in the eye lest he suddenly burst into flames. And the other Avengers absolutely can't get enough of him for some god damn reason- they started theorizing about how Bruce Wayne of all people could be the Batman they say roams Gotham but Tony can't see it and is also jealous his friends possibly want to bring another rich superhero dude into the Avengers until Tony takes one look at Bruce surrounded by all these super powered, boisterous people with panic in his eyes and decides he has nothing to worry about because there's absolutely no way that Bruce Wayne is the damn Batman ok sorry for rambling I'll take my leave lol

Here's the thing, what I love about the possibilities of a Battinson/Tony dynamic is that Tony likes fronting; He has to make a scene, has to be grander than grand and snatch the spotlight so he'd be acknowledged;

The only time Bruce doesn't stumble and verbally implodes is when he wipes the floor with some CEO who says unionizing is inherently an excuse to not work

Steve just kinda lifts Bruce up by the collar of his suit and is like, " Good job, A+ in verbal murder" to Tony's displeased shock. HE verbally murders people all the time, where's HIS star sticker?

I finally got to read the update!! Don't mind me rambling a bit about everything I loved about it...

I really enjoyed the beginning of this chapter.  Being playful with Basil in the van is super cute. It was interesting to see Reem and Basil not getting along a little bit, it makes me intrigued about if there will be any cracks in our little friend group's foundation that might start to show. And if so what that might mean when things start going bad.

Also, Anita is adorable!! It had me giggling when she called everyone attractive--I loved getting to tease her about it afterwards. I chose to room with her and the siblings--though the thought of Basil sleeping alone makes me nervous for the future...

Definitely Looking at Anita's comment about how your sanity starts slipping when you go without sleep. I'm SO eager to reach the horror. Though the slightly slower, cheerful beginning is so great. I love getting to know everyone and seeing them happy and bonding, knowing that there's horror on the horizon...

Javier talking about his mom marrying his dad straight up made me snort laugh. I work with kids and they truly do say the most out of pocket things. It's very true to life. And ooooh, Basil and Gabriel just...staring at the woods got me so hyped. Reading that scene gave me a proper thrill, that little 'heart-pounding-faster' feeling that makes me love horror so so much.

Hell yes at getting to tell the kids a scary story!! I remember being a kid and hearing classics like Don't Turn on the Light and being scared out of my socks. It's sooo fun to be able to play at passing that on to a whole new generation!! I'm 100% in to romance Basil, but this update makes me want to do a run where I romance Anita. She's so so cute. And the siblings both are great in their own ways... I'm sensing that I'll end up doing runs for each of the ROs, you've made such fun and sweet characters!

Aaah that ending!!!! Genuinely terrifying, and made me so anxious about the kids!! I KNOW my MC is going to be hard-pressed to keep them all safe. I can't wait to see what comes next!! I love how you write characters, they're all so likable and distinct!! This was such a good update, it makes me really eager for more.

Basil and Anita's on-the-road scenes in the van were my favorite to write!! And yes, there's certainly a bit of tension in the group. MCs with high sociability or perception will be able to pick up on this, also on George's fondness for a certain colleague--- but don't worry, no one's at each other's throats. Yet.

And yay, some Anita appreciation!! Cut her some slack, she's not used to being around hot people and between a possibly cute MC and the FUCKING MALAKS of all people... yeah. It's not easy for her.

Ok so you know that you can also sleep in the van with Basil if your relationship stat/his approval of you is strong enough? I hope that was clear from the dialogue options and you just chose the cabin despite of it, bc if not, I might have to rewrite the choice. Furthermore, while I can see why you'd be worried for him, I'd be more concerned for an MC who chooses to sleep alone ;) [yes, this is me hinting at a future horror scenario possibly unique to that route].

Ah yes, Javier, my son <3 lol. Nahhh I don't favor any of the campers. Though, if I had to pick which one I liked to write the most, it'd probably be him.

Now I feel bad haha. Ok but srsly, kids can be VERY outspoken, and Javier especially has noooo social filter. You might notice that some of the campers' traits specifically correspond to some of the ROs' characteristics... Looking at Gabriel and Basil here.

Both campfire stories are also really close to my own heart, so I jumped at the chance to include them. As for the ROs, I do hope you'll do a run for each of them! I'm trying quite hard to make it difficult to choose between them ;)

I love that the ending hit the way it was supposed to. If you want to know what's up next, I have one word for you: confusion. Lots of confusion.

See, I need to give this story a slow, slice-of-life start, bc purely from a narrative standpoint, it wouldn't make sense for the horror to come out guns blazing. That's why the MC will at first be the only one to experience the horrors and for the horrors to (seemingly) originate from one of the kids, bc if it was more dramatic and the threat was to come from an exterior source, everyone would just pack up and flee and then the story would be over. That's what I figure.

A/N: In honor or Taeyong's enlistment, this will be a Taeyong fic <3 Also, idk what this turned into lol, at first I thought I would do some background and then go into the helicopter ride after a time jump, but I kind of find the idea of him being this ultra rich idol with access to a helicopter sort of entertaining lol. So that's sort of what this turned into.

You had met Taeyong at a party. You had a friend who knew someone who could get you in to this "exclusive" party with a bunch of idols. So, you and your friend got all dressed up, took a cab there, and tried to look important. If your friend hadn't thrown out the name of the guy she knew, you would've been turned away by the bouncer.

So when you got inside, you and your friend had mainly stuck to the corner of the room. Mostly because you didn't know anybody, and were kind of afraid to be asked any questions. You weren't famous, just lived in the same city as a bunch of celebrities.

But when you made your way into the kitchen to find a drink, you noticed someone had came in behind you. But you didn't want to turn around because for all you knew, it could be a bouncer or the host or some other scarily important person who would tell you to leave.

So, you opened up your bottle of water and leaned your hands against the kitchen counter, still not making nay move to turn around and face this scary stranger.

Well, your plan would've worked...if it weren't for the fact that this stranger tapped on your shoulder, saying "Excuse me?".

You slowly turned around, yet immediately found yourself charmed by the presence of a gorgeous looking guy. Then, the craziest thing happened. He started speaking to you, staring into your eyes.

"I just wanted to know where I've seen you before? I can't remember.", he said politely. "I wanted to introduce myself, but my friend said that I've already met everyone here so..."

You laughed and waved him off. "Oh don't worry about it, we don't know each other. I'm Y/n. To be honest with you, me and a friend knew someone who could get us in here. But I kind of regret coming." You explained, relieved that he wasn't going to rat you out to the host.

"Oh, why do you regret it", he questioned, "Are you not having fun?"

"No,no,no...it's not that. We just aren't really in this social circle you know, we just thought it'd be cool to see if we could get some autographs or something. But um...do you know who's hosting this? The guy who got us in didn't tell us.", you asked a bit hesitantly.

"Funny story...I'm actually the host. The name's Taeyong", he stated as he extended his arm out for you to shake. You raised your eyebrows in shock, sort of embarrassed that you basically just copped to being a party intruder to the host.

"Oh well, you have a really nice apartment.", you said, complimenting him. He smiled in response and for a second you thought that that was the end of the conversation. So you turned around again, ready to make a b-line out of the kitchen and to your friend and out the door. But he started talking again which put an axe on those plans.

"Uh, would you mind if I showed you something really quick?", he asked vaguely.

"Yeah sure", you responded, unsure of what he was planning on showing you. Honestly, you still had it in your head that he was going to kick you out but who knows.

He led you out of the kitchen and away from the rest of the party. As you followed closely behind him, you turned your head to try and look for your friend who was now out there surviving all alone in the living room. You felt sort of guilty for abandoning her, but in your defense, your intention was to go in to the kitchen to get a water, and then come back out. That obviously get derailed pretty fast.

Taeyong led you up a flight of stairs. Then to an elevator. You looked at him in a mix of surprise and confusion. This guy was really wealthy if he could afford an elevator in his apartment, you thought to yourself.

When the elevator doors closed and you watched him press the top floor button, you became increasingly eager to see what was so important to show off.

He turned to you as the elevator started to ascend up. "I figure...You came to see something special, so that's what I want you to see.", he finished just as the elevator doors opened. The minute you had a full view of what was in front of you, you couldn't help but gasp.

"Wha-what is this?", you asked in amazement as he took your hand and stepped out of the elevator with you. He chuckled before beginning to explain.

"It was one of my first big purchases when I first started really making money. I don't use nearly as much as I'd like to. So...you want to take a ride in it?', he questioned.

You looked up at him in amazement. "I-I guess...Yes!, let's do it", you exclaimed. He smiled at you as he led you towards the helicopter. He lifted you up, and gave you a headset. It took a few minutes until you were both settled, but once you were lifting off, you felt the butterflies in your stomach. You couldn't help be be nervous. You were in a helicopter, flying over the city with a complete stranger that you met 10 minutes ago, at a party you really weren't supposed to be at and your friend didn't know where you were. It was either a perfect evening or a recipe for disaster. You weren't sure yet. As you looked out at the dark city landscape, you found yourself awestruck by how beautiful the city skyline looked at night. Hues of red, green, white, yellow and blue all stood out. Apartments were lit up, some TV's were visible through windows. You saw people walking through their apartments, billboards that looked tiny from up in the sky, glass buildings that showed elevators going up in down, most likely people coming home from work. It was so fascinating being able to watch the world from so high up.

"Do you like what you see?", Taeyong questioned, looking over at you with curiosity.

"Very much! But, why me? Why'd you bring me up here?", you asked, interested to hear his response.

"Because, I had my eyes on you from the moment you walked through the front door. I wanted to know more about you.", you stated. And something about the way he said it made your cheeks flush.

"So you knew that we hadn't already met. You knew I was a stranger?", you questioned.

"I had to break the ice", he stated. "I think we'll head back now."

By the time you had made it back to the rooftop and out of the helicopter, you weren't exactly sure of where to go from there. You stepped off and cleared you throat before starting to thank him. But he cut you off.

"I'd like to see you again. Maybe under normal circumstances. How about getting a coffee?", he asked.

"I'd like that", you responded back swiftly. He smiled at you again, and asked for your number. The he sent you back down, saying he'd see you back at the party.

By the time you got back to the living room, you immediately ran to your friend who was still cowering in the corner of the room.

"Oh my god, you'll never guess what just happened!", you said excitedly.

God complex given human/big crocodile form. He is an absolute unit. Standing at 7 feet tall while Human, and 15 feet tall while gator. Absolutely shredded. Knows he's hot shit. Knows he can wreck your shit.

Also has a wide variety of goodies for the depraved. Doesn't really sell directly anymore, but will to a select group of people. Everyone else has to go to one of his lackeys.

Kinda guy you see and immediately make room for because he will not move for you.

He met Bonnie on accident. He was barely 16 at a concert. Dawn took him to go because she liked the band, and wanted to bond with her newly adopted son and show she cared for him.

They got to meet the band up close and something just kinda clicked. Bonnie and Diego talked a lot after and hung out a lot in the weeks following. Just getting high and vibing, going on trips an such. Dawn didn't care too much as Diego got a friend, and didn't get the vibe Bonnie was being a creep. He genuinely wasn't, just kinda clicked with the kid. Straightened him out a little.

Until Diego got into selling shitty weed and worked his way up. Then he became a plug for the band and their staff. Yes Freddy has done some drugs, but not anything too hard. Man just wants to a lil weed and to pass out sometimes.

Skip a few decades and waddles in a 23 year old Monty to replace Bonnie. Diego basically brushed the guy off and told Bonnie he'd be better off else where. Didn't mention they were related. Didn't feel it was worthy of bringing up.

They are related by blood. Diego's bio parents gave him up when he was born, and he got bounced around a lot. Made him a lot of different types of traumatized. But felt so safe and secure with Dawn, and she helped him find some of his family that did want to see him.

Monty's mom adores Diego, partly because he looks just like her. Careful not to say he looks like her sister, his mom. Who was ostracized from the family a number of years prior for just being a shitty person overall. And partly because he's a polite young man who's been nothing short of friendly at the family gatherings :)

Diego doesn't much care for any of his bio family, but knows how far a thank you and a smile can get him :) especially with the scary croc lady

Diego and Monty's relationship is very "we're related, I see you once a year at family gatherings. Don't talk to me.". Diego has always lowkey viewed Montgomery as a loser. A runt who wasn't ever going to go anywhere. He would die the useless sibling to his family.

Yes he has said that to Monty. No Monty has never told anyone. He was 15, being berated by a cousin he didn't know for no reason other than Diego wanted to make him cry and knew Monty wasn't a narc

Bonnie of course asked Monty later if he knew Diego, and got the hint pretty fast how that whole situation is. Didn't really do anything with the information because it didn't seem relevant to him at all. Diego has been his friend for a long ass time, and he just needs Monty to play well so he can retire.

Within the current timeline of the were AU, Monty is 26ish (I've probably said other ages in the past but for now slapping that age on), where Diego is 47, and Bonnie is 55 (not old, old, but old enough to know he wants to kick back. He's been rocking for just over 30 years man).

Diego has made passes at Y/N. Mostly because he knew it upset Monty.

First of all, happy birthday! Hope you get more candy that you like! As for the prompt: Whilst accidentally stumbling onto the bad side of town (again), Kaidou finds himself surrounded by a group of delinquents without a way to escape, just as gets prepared for the worst, one of them puts their arms around his shoulders and starts introducing themselves to their ex leader’s partner

I originally intended to post this with the rest of the birthday prompts but through a series of bizarre incidents I am now unable to do that unless I want to lose this ask and everything I've written entirely. I don't know how that happened either.

Anyway

So I actually have no idea how to write this since I don't write saiki k fic and don't plan to but I love this so I need to post it. I'll ramble a little bit about what I'd like to read from this idea to make up for the lack of actual writing lol

I'm a huge fan of Kaidou suddenly having just... this gang of delinquents who are willing to lay their life down for him. This is their ex leader's boyfriend! His new partner! And he's a huge scaredy-cat and incredibly weak so they need to be extra careful to keep him safe! (They don't realize that half the time they're the ones being scary, but despite that, Kaidou likes them because they're similar to Kuboyasu)

I think it'd be incredibly funny if Kuboyasu had no idea any of this was happening. Maybe he left Kaidou alone for like, five minutes and in that time Kaidou got himself lost and promptly "kidnapped" and Kuboyasu hunts them down and is about to go on a rampage until he realizes 1) oh that's his old gang and 2) they're actually being pretty hospitable, or as much as delinquents can be. I'm imagining Kuboyasu kicking a door down and wielding a baseball bat but Kaidou is just sitting on a couch and someone is pouring tea for him and he's still a little shaky but starting to relax now that he knows who these scary people are and all in all it's just a good time.

Bonus points for an epilogue scene where Kaidou is about to get actually mugged or something when suddenly a bunch of delinquents pop up behind him and put the fear of god into his harasser. Does he realize they're there? Or does he assume his chuuni behavior actually worked? Well... Lol

i really like how you analyze things you know how hard it is to find people who can criticize things properly? Very lol but I guess I'm guilty of that myself but I really like the analysis you've given about MHA. I kind of have a question even though it might be a lame one? But what's your take on the female characters of MHA? I'm personally disappointed by them because... I don't know they have potential yet haven't shown any sort of real depth that makes me really root for them. Does that make sense?

It makes perfect sense, actually. In the simplest, most brutal way possible, there's nothing actually there to root for, though I hasten to mention that's not actually their fault; they have potential, like you said, plenty of it. Hori's female characters have just, broadly, been abandoned on the side of road, like he has so many others (Class B, literally the entire school of Shiketsu, who has a nigh Todoroki level character, to name a few), but it's just that much worse because it's all of them.

Seriously, off the top of my head, the last time a female who isn't Toga or Mirko did anything really relevant was... when Uraraka talked down the crowd? If I'm being honest, (and minor manga spoilers here, if you're not up to date) Hori's about to have all the female characters involved in a fight in the manga, so maybe something will happen there, but to be even more honest, there's something about that whole scenario when the main members of the fights are all female that screams 'catfight' in the worst kind of way. I know they just joined a bunch of others, but how much do you bet that it'll end up being Toga, Uraraka, and maybe Tsu again somehow?

Also, I'm going to note Toga and Miruko for later in that they have special issues, but I'm on a roll here.

The potential is there. The way that the ones in 1A alone could be more relevant are broad; Mina's acid could be used in ways like water attacks are in Naruto, for example. Give me an acid dragon, Hori, that sounds awesome. Kyoka's sounds are strong enough to shatter the ground, with some support tech, yet she can't get something to focus them, make them hit harder? You know, how Bakugou somehow does with his explosions, and, like, his fingers, somehow, yet you have all this support gear right there. Concentrate all that noise down to foot of area and it'd hit like a truck. Momo is literally the poster child for wasted potential here, along with how Hori just left all the women behind: she's a recommended student, which comes with this built in hype of 'this one, this one is going to be good'. And... she never is. Out of the all the stuff we've seen her make, has a gas grenade of some kind never came to her? One with sleeping gas maybe? Or how about a tranq gun? And don't tell me about Japan and their gun laws; Snipe exists. (On a personal note, do you know what I yearn to see? A little cartoon or comic or something of Momo going, "I'm going to beat you with the power of friendship. And this gun I found!" Can you imagine? She's so serious, so refined, then she says that, dead ass serious, while pulling out one out of her arm??? I laugh every time I think about it. I really do.) Momo is scary in a way lot of the characters aren't, and it's not for her raw power, but her flexibility, and how she can target weaknesses with it. Weaknesses like breathing. The thing is that she's just not allowed to use it. Seriously, they struggle so much to try and put Gigantomachia to sleep, yet a few arc later she pulls out this giant ass machine to drug up Izuku, and it's just so... overcomplicated, how many steps they're taking to make her less useful. The tools are there. The potential is right the fuck there. These two things I've mentioned alone are simpler than some of the things she's made before, and the narration has made it clear that she's more than smart enough to think of these basic ass solutions. She's just not allowed to be, well, that useful. And Asui, honestly, is an interesting case. On the face of it, Frog is kind of a weak Quirk, but Mirko exists. In all brutal honesty, Asui has the same kind of Quirk as Mirko, it's just the less sex appealing version. And if Mirko could be a top hero on Rabbit, why can't Asui with Frog?

And that's the other thing. Out of all the female cast, we have a small handful of relevant people, like Mirko and Toga, and all of them seem to embody some sort of sex appeal. Midnight, before she was killed off off screen, was a joke character that got more development in a spin off in her entire run, and was literally a walking bondage costume. Toga is the token female for the League, but the reason she has so much focus is that she's popular, and she's popular because she's, as I've heard someone put it, some kind of Yandere otome character. Uraraka is the Hinata to Izuku's Naruto, and so has some One True Waifu energy. Nana's built like a brick house. Mirko is literally a bunny girl. These things? These things that people find attractive, and judging by his sketches, I'd expect that Hori is one of those people. Moreover, almost all of them have their characters defined by this one attractive quality, if only because they aren't allowed to show literally anything else.

It gets worse when you realize how many things happen just for that, for the sex appeal: Toga needs to be naked for her Quirk. Actually, this is an oddly common 'flaw': Toru has no clothes for her hero costume. She is literally running around naked. Momo's descriptions all talk about how she exposes skin to use her Quirk better. Mirio exists. Mirio literally phases out his clothes, but because he's a man, and thus not attractive, his costume is made of his hairs, somehow, and so phases with him and he never accidently flashes anyone. Hmm, UA. I wonder who else could use something like that. This is so mysterious.

That's not even mention how Mirko keeps getting brutalized like a toy owned by a particularly careless child, and by the way it keeps happening, the way it focuses on her pain, it seems Hori is into that? The worst part of that, I think, is if he had just done that once, he probably could have gotten away with it, and no one would have noticed. But it keeps happening. Mirko has no limbs now, Hori what the fuck?

So, yeah, Anon. I'm disappointed in the female characters too. I'm disappointed that Hori never gave them a chance.

My grandfather!! Courtney was his middle name. (That spelling was originally the masculine form of the name, though it's pretty rare to see it used as such these days.) My middle name is also a family name :)

Uhh... oh it was a couple nights ago, when talking with my parents about my Nana. I still miss her a lot

3. Do you have kids?

Nope. At this stage of my life I can't say it feels super likely ever to happen, though I'd be lying if I said I don't feel a twinge of Something when I meet babies at work lol.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

lmao I have never played any. I am extremely unathletic by nature, and also always struggled to get my brain around the rules of pretty much any of them when I was like, a kid in gym class

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Sure, but not a lot? Probably an average amount I figure

6. What is the first thing you notice about people?

Man, I dunno - probably their faces or their clothes, depending on context?

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Big big fan of both! I'm not a big sad endings guy, though. Even when it feels right for the story, it's usually not my jam. (I guess sometimes sad endings can be good for scary movies, but that's like... sort of its own thing? because it's about The Horror.)

This is always a hard question for me to answer, bc I feel like most of the things I'm good at are more skills than talents - they're things I've practiced and developed over time, like with my writing and art. Although I guess it'd be fair, if unusual maybe, to say I've got a couple naturally strong interpersonal skills. I'm very good at communication, including figuring out what other people are trying to say, and I'm also pretty good at making people feel comfortable and understood.

In southern Ontario, in the city where both of my parents did most of their growing up :)

11. What are your hobbies?

Writing (fiction prose, mostly) and the many kinds of thinking that go with it (worldbuilding, character development, etc). Arts and crafts (of many kinds; I'm often bouncing from one thing to another. Currently I'm having lots of fun learning to crochet). Taking in stories (reading books and comics, watching movies and TV, playing games, listening to podcasts - I love stories in all their forms). Goofing off with my family, especially my younger siblings.

We have three cats - Neverland, Louie, and Smudge :)

Iiii. [sweats] I wanna be a novelist, but also, that's hard in its own way, and I think it's gonna take me a while yet to really Get There in terms of my own skills, disregarding the challenges of publishing. Beyond that... is something I've been struggling a lot with lately, because it's hard for me to imagine myself in a job where I'm both content and competent, let alone able to support myself. I've been wondering a lot again about library sciences, lately, but I just don't know. It's tough out here!

I'm very glad I can make you or anyone excited, let alone look forward to what I upload next. That's what the CWO is there for, to inform of my progression so readers are aware/involved in the process a little more. (ﾉ˵ ͡~∀ ͡°˵)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

This chapter is a massive one, like... I believe it's the longest I've ever written, so I'm really taking my time with it to ensure every little detail is just right. I'd often push chapters out I wasn't completely satisfied with in the past, and it'd leave me feeling pretty crudy overall, so I'm trying to avoid that to the best of my ability with my return. They say a happy creator means a happier and more productive work flow, so I'm holding onto that notion quite vigorously to circumvent burn out, even if it means taking longer than necessary.

Chapter 30 should release any day now as I'm devoting literally every second of my freetime combing through it until it resembles luscious horse locks ( as luscious as I can manage, at least lol ) so please feel free to flow with as much excitement as you wish, as the Shukita/Kitashu Overlords will bless us soon yet again! ❤️💙

So if the answer is behind door number 2 and some evil scientist really did find them after they came through, it'd probably make the most sense if they came through unfrenzied but disoriented enough that they were captured fairly easily, and then had something horrible inflicted upon them, which triggered a frenzy, right? Or would a frenzy like that come only from rift distortion fuckery, and they came through frenzied but someone managed to tranq them. In the first case a spontaneous frenzy might help them bust out right after if happened, but if they're already frenzied it might make it harder for anyone to actually do anything to them.

I feel like that might make things too convoluted though. Them being dropped off near or in Nimbasa but accidentally being frenzied from passing through the rift seems like it'd work best. The question then would be, why were they fused when they came through. Easiest answer would probably be they were in one of the distortion bubbles when something went horribly wrong and they ended up being taken back along with all the other displaced pokemon. Second easiest might be that Ingo was given the chance to go back home, and Lady Sneasler wanted to come too because that's Her Guy, but the rules were that only one could come. And she's like, well luckily we have a solution for that! And they go through together and have the bad luck of it affecting her badly.

Poor Emmet is really going to have his work cut out for him here, though. First he's gotta figure out what this thing is, then he's gotta realize it's his brother (both of which he'll only be able to do once Clamberclaw is calm enough for Ingo to take the reigns), then he's gotta... take him home? Take him to a pokemon center? But to do that first he's gotta actually get them out of the train where they've only just calmed down because it's safe and familiar, then he's gotta get them out of the crowded subway station without Clamberclaw freaking out again or anyone getting too good of a look at them (especially if he's paranoid that some evil scientists might be out looking for their escaped experiment), then he's gotta do the same but in a crowded city this time until he gets them to wherever he's taking them. (Then he gets to have his breakdown once they're safe and asleep lol)

And that's too say nothing about his emotional journey here. Like, yay his brother is back and alive, oh no he's this bizarre creature now, oh shit what if he had been taken and was being experimented on this whole time, oh God how is he gonna get them out of here, yay his brother is back in a safe place where Emmet can watch over him, yay apparently this is a reversible thing and he's not actually fused together with this pokemon forever, oh no he's not going to separate anytime soon because he needs to make sure Lady Sneasler isn't gonna go on another rampage and also this is new and scary for both of them and it's comforting to not be alone in it, oh shit apparently Ingo doesn't remember anything of his life here including Emmet. He's gonna have a hell of a time of it.

Meanwhile, Clamberclaw is super tired and in pain, but actually doing sort of okay otherwise. Because even if Ingo doesn't actually remember him, Emmet is like, the person he trusts absolutely to keep him safe in his vulnerable state. Which is a lot to put in Emmet's shoulders! But they're not really in a position to be making any big decisions on their own in their state. In this they're just going to have to put their trust in Emmet.

oof the idea that they went as a fusion to game a "one person only" rule... it brings to mind, like, people outsmarting a god in a game of wits and so it gives them a horrible and dramatically-ironic curse as divine retribution. oh you think you're so smart, figuring out how to bring a friend with you? we'll see how much your smarts help when i inflict you with DIVINE MADNESS

(not that arceus/giratina necessarily did this on purpose, but)

the other thought i had as to why they'd be fused at all is that sneasler was about to kill ingo in the middle of a rampage and it was the only thing he could think to do to escape. like she had him pinned so there was no running, the only option he had was to reach back out and fuse bc now she can't attack him anymore, can she? and now they're staying together for the same reasons as before, bc sneasler's holding on in the frenzy and/or ingo doesn't want anyone else hurt, etc.

probably the easiest way to get them out safely is to either take the train, or just walk down the tunnels to a further-away, less-populated station, and then go around the long way to wherever their house is, avoiding the most densely populated areas of the city. (this also means clamberclaw gets to ride the train which they'll probably enjoy <3) however there's also the fact that they might have quickly evacuated some areas when clamberclaw was rampaging through them, which could open up paths too

&then yeah, emmet... :c he's gonna try so hard to stay calm where they can see, bc they really desperately need that and if they think they're in danger there's the very material side effect of potentially reactivating Panic Mode and causing a bunch more destruction/having them go running off into the city again. but that doesn't mean he isn't on a fucking rollercoaster here. his brother's alive! and doesn't remember him! and has possibly been trapped in an experiment-torture-hell for who knows how long! and is stuck together with some mystery pokemon! and that duo has been pushed to their limit and is now in dire need of rest if not medical attention. once he doesn't have the anchor of "ignore everything else we need to make sure ingo's safe and okay" he's gonna lose it

hEWWo merms, i'm just gonna toss my... pitch for an isekai plot here if you don't mind: y/n has always been frail from birth or maybe she's very sick or something and likes reading superhero stories like bnha and maybe even self-insert/reader insert fanfic for wish fulfillment, and then idk something happens and one day she wakes up in the hospital and like bakugou is there and at first she's just like 'omg i read too much fanfiction i must be dreaming now' and bakugou says like 'yadda yadda yadda you fucking idiot why'd you go do some hero shit alone' and y/n just goes along with it because this is a dream right and yeah sure she could be a pro-hero in a dream world.... but then the 'dream' keeps going and she gets discharged from the hospital and eventually goes 'wait why is the dream not ending what's going on' and she's expected to go back to work as a PRO-HERO and she doesn't know what to do or maybe even what her quirk is supposed to be and she has to look 'herself' up to try and figure it out. all the while, bakugou and possibly even deku are like 'something very strange is going on with y/n' at this point i think either y/n (since she was sickly in the real world) would try to own the pro-hero life she's inherited- tho when i first thought this up i thought it'd be interesting if she quit because she finds out being a pro-hero is actually very scary when faced with some situations and y/n is not emotionally equipped to handle it/doesn't really know how to use her quirk and bakugou starts banging down her door and demanding to know why she quit like a loser or deku showing up and trying to ask what's wrong because she's been acting strange. maybe she'd try to quit after her first foray if something went wrong and she doubts if she can be a pro-hero at all... i'm unsure ANYWAY I'M SORRY FOR RAMBLING SO MUCH ABOUT THIS I JUST WANTED TO SHARE. ;;;;

he says he doesn't want to hurt me or make me angry by asking to be alone for a while, and I'm not angry about that, i completely understand it and I'm more than fine giving him that space if he needs it because his whole life is close to being turned upside down for the worse and i get why he's overwhelmed and doesn't have the time to worry about me and not hurting me for being distant

what makes me so fucking angry and truly hurt me is the whole "i don't know if i want to call you my girlfriend" after half a fucking year of exclusive dating and acting like a normal fucking couple and trusting me with things you really wouldn't tell someone who you can't see yourself being around for a long time

it's funny because this is exactly what i was afraid of in the beginning, i remember a conversation we had before we started dating and he was telling me about his love life and how he had never dated anyone for longer than a couple of months, so i asked him "how come?? are you afraid of commitment lol" and he was like noooo i just don't think I've clicked with anyone enough for that

in my mind i was like yeah lmao if we ever start dating he's so gonna be the guy who leads me on for months, just to tell me "actually i can't have a serious relationship now lol sorry hope you're not mad" when i start suggesting that perhaps it's time i meet your mum bc it's the only way we can see each other more often

and if anyone is reading this you're probably wondering so why the fuck did you ignore your intuition and kept going out with him? fair enough very good question idk because im a fucking retard and because we clicked in so well, so easily and so fast that i truly thought it'd be different

i never felt like this with anyone, it always takes me so long to get comfortable around people and not get anxiety when they talk to me or ask me to hang out, and the fact that i never had that feeling around him... that always put any doubts i had about dating him at bay

"yeah you're right everything was perfect between us and we completely understand each other, have a lot fun together and had so much chemistry everyone around us joked about us getting together before we even had a proper conversation but hmmmm yeah idk girlfriend is a scary word tho"

it literally just sounds like you want the liberty to go out and fuck whoever you want without having to worry about that person in the slightest, and that you never cared that much about me even though you really, really didn't act like it

and im saying all of this but another part of me thinks that it'll get better, when things settle down and he doesn't have to worry about what the fuck is gonna happen to him and where he's gonna live after his mother dies, he'll text me and ask to get together again, because things were going so well before his mum got sick again that he's probably just acting like this now bc he can't think clearly and everything is overwhelming him

maybe im an idiot for telling him i can't bring myself to drop him fully, because i really wouldn't be comfortable with myself if i did it knowing what he's going through, I'd feel like a horrible person, i care(d?) too much about him to do that, even if he says he just wants to isolate from everyone and be on his own, that's not healthy, i understand why he wants that, but it's the worst he can do ffs

tldr: don't date manchildren and trust your intuition, you're gonna be right 99,9% of the times
