Been watching that new Hazbin Hotel show as it's coming out (🏴‍☠️) and I'm pretty disappointed with it. I'm not super familiar with the Everything about it, but I remember watching the pilot way back when and liking the premise.

I hadnt kept up with it after the pilot because I wanted to see it with fresh eyes. Now that the show is coming out, somehow I feel like an outsider watching it lol. It presents a lot of concepts, but it just assumes the watcher is already familiar with the characters, and it makes the pacing reeeeally odd. It's all payoff, no buildup (unless you count the years fans had to wait for it as 'build up'). I feel like I REALLY need to look for supplementary material to understand what's going on,, like.... why was there a whole emotional power ballad for a character who was only introduced 10 minutes prior?? Was I supposed to know who she was?😭 (her heels were cool though)

Tonally it's strange, too. It feels like an adult show written for teenagers a lot of the time, which is the BIGGEST disappointment. I was really hoping for more thoughtful explorations of the characters, but we really only get that for Angel Dust and like .... no one else lol. (Sir Pentious is the 👏FUCKING👏BEST👏)

Charlie and Vaggie feel ESPECIALLY underbaked. Considering how overtly sexual the show is, it's SHOCKING how little chemistry they have. Like, it's not there at all. I watched the show with a friend who had no knowledge about Hazbin Hotel whatsoever, and during episode 4, she asked me,"So why is Vaggie helping here?" which I feel is the best example I can give for how poorly developed their relationship is.

I like the music. The song transitions are usually really jarring (Respectless and Hell's Greatest Dad come to mind) but the songs themselves are usually bangers. I'm a big fan of Loser, Baby.

The designs are ..... not for me. But that's not necessarily a criticism. A lot of the character designs feel very dated, but I respect them for sticking so hard to the aesthetic they present, even if its not for me. I wish there was more outfit and body type variety in the characters, but literally EVERYONE says that, so I'll just leave that there lol.

Overall I think this show is a shining example of why """"filler"""" episodes are so important. If this were a 12 or even 24 episode season I think it'd be way better, but as it is, they're trying to cram like 15 different character arcs + a dramatic overarching story into 8 episodes, and it's really REALLY suffering for it.

U being anti IH what if the same thing happens to gjhm and they become canon but don't have as much material as other ship?

I'm not sure if you're asking this with malicious intent or if it's a genuine question from a fellow shipper, but here we go.

(Oncoming lengthy response)

I've actually had this thought before. What if despite his different writing style, the general hate the Bleach ED got, & just how ridiculous it sounds, Gege pulled a Kubo? After all, he's a fanboy of the man (I wonder what he thinks of the Bleach ED? Is he aware of how it was received?).

I would be shocked, conflicted, & worried.

To start with, while neither ship should be compared due to how fundamentally different they are, I will say this. Despite several interactions, IH severely lacked chemistry, trust, & meaningful moments. Meanwhile, GojoHime with less on-screen interactions & a playful dynamic, have shown us a deep trust for each other & have worked together to achieve their shared goals. Despite being a minor side character, Utahime is one of the few people Gojo trusts & one of the three adults he calls by first name with no honorific. This already puts them leagues above IH, who were barely friends at best & acquaintances at worst.

So, I wouldn't want GjHm to somehow get the IH treatment in the end. I wouldn't wish that on any shipper, heck, I even feel sort of bad for the IH's, cuz despite becoming "canon" out of nowhere 7 years ago, they still. don't. have. content (especially from the author himself, who has shown no particular interest in his endgames. They don't even have a family sketch 🫢). Makes you wonder who really lost here (as IR has still gotten some content over the years post-ED...).

GjHm already gets enough hate for simply existing, despite it being a smaller ship with a smaller fanbase in the JJK fandom (the antis are threatened by the potential it has, not to mention it's the most popular JJK straight ship in Japan), so if Gege were to pull a Kubo, the hate would increase, especially towards Utahime, who of course would amass the most hate from this freakin' fandom that's obsessed with Gojo. It'd be a tough time for us fans of the ship & Utahime.

After dealing with the aftermath of the Naruto Shipping Wars as a soldier in the NaruHina army lol (don't even get me started on why NH is NOT like IH, plus we actually have content 🤪), & then witnessing the disastrous Bleach ED & the general hate it got, I do NOT wish to go thru this again. Whether you win or lose, if it isn't done properly, you'll still deal with criticism left & right... (why can't more battle shounens be like Fairy Tail when it comes to slowly developing the ships throughout the story? There'd be less drama...)

Gege keeps saying the manga will end soon, so that means if he wants to make anyone canon by the end, he'll have to start now. JJK is a battle shounen with no romance, but if despite this, GjHm are to be canon, then their moments leading up to it will have to be quality > quantity. Is there enough room/time to develop them the way we would wish? Doubt it, so we'll need at least a couple flashbacks to further justify them (and boy, we're still waiting for their flashback after Gojo's unsealing, if that ever comes...).

Basically, even if it's a few moments, they need to be impactful enough to make even the casual readers/viewers think, "I could see them ending up together." Subtlety & slow burn are usually the best fit for battle shounens, after all, &/or maybe a little further (once again, like Fairy Tail). With that said, out of all the potential ships in the series, I personally view YutaMaki as the most likely to become canon by the end; their moments, far & few in between, are enough to convince me that they could be endgame (that is, if the capricious Gege so wished 😓).

So far, we've seen nothing of what Gojo & Utahime truly think of each other. To reiterate, they have a silly dynamic but have shown to trust each other implicitly. Why this is, we can only guess. I mean, Utahime has risked her life for Gojo twice already (investigating the mole & buffing him against Sukuna). Where is this supposed "hate" she holds for him? It's stated in the databook that she hates him most of the time, so how does she feel at other times? 🤔 And Gojo, despite his teasing, has shown he cares for her, saved her, & obviously trusted her with the aforementioned important & risky tasks.

Just what is going on with these two? Is it really so impossible that there could be something more here? Whether now or later? Gege would just need to give us a little more... Though at this point, there's only so much we can hope for, considering his writing style & how things have been seemingly going... Gotta keep our expectations low...

(What if—delulu plot twist—GjHm are already together, either secretly this whole time—like some ppl have wondered, as this could further explain the immense trust in each other—or got together during the timeskip, & all we need now is the big reveal with a/some proper flashback(s) to explain it? LOL. Just a silly idea 😜).

Anyway, in general, I wouldn't want GjHm becoming canon at the cost of its beautiful potential. We'd need some more moments to justify it, or else I'd have to put back on my old "army uniform" to defend my ship if need be. So, despite how unlikely it would be, I can only hope Gege does NOT pull a Kubo (well, he's more likely to kill everyone off or something like that 🙄).

I'd rather he pulled a Sorachi (author of Gintama) & left things open-ended, keeping the fandom from turning into utter chaos...

(Maybe only that side might lose it, tho, lol. They get bothered by anything that doesn't adhere to their ship despite them being down here with us in Delulu Land, oop-).

okay so like how do you set boundaries with an internet friend that you don't wanna be friends with anymore? this is no one here, this is someone i know via instagram and I kinda just realized is actually a dick to me? all the time? and i don't wanna talk to them anymore much less have them edit my book (which they offered to do and I stupidly already said yes)

I don't wanna block them without saying anything, i literally have trauma around being blocked for no reason BUT like is that worse than like? just ghosting them forever? cause that's what I've been kinda doing already

this person CLAIMS to like my book but they've also given me stupid super nit-picky and mean spirited criticisms on it that make no sense that are literally like suspension of disbelief things (also they tried to say that it was "unrealistic" for Cain to not be arrested for tax fraud, which like. buddy you're european and you have no fucking idea what CEO billionaires in the US are fucking capable of getting away with apparently lol)

These criticisms were basically unprompted btw. they were like oh can i make some comments and I said yeah sure thinking it'd be something small and then they proceeded to tell me that my entire story makes no sense and kinda mock it and make fun of it and make me feel dumb

so they made me really insecure about my writing and also literally none of my headmates like them and we get that we can't stop them from reading our book when it's published BUT we just don't want to talk to them about it or have them read it for free

i asked a friend about it and they think they're jealous of me and that's why they say they like my book but are also picking it apart and idk if that's true but I don't think they're like... PURPOSEFULLY being an asshole they just are. i literally dread every message I get from them. OH also they called one of my headmates an ableist slur which like okay fine, it's a common slur that people throw around but it was still hmmmm not great (we are not out as a system on instagram btw)

they send me videos that are completely irrelevant to my interests, they've been BUGGING me about when i'll send them the chapters of silence agenda I told them they could edit (which now will not be happening lol). also our very first conversation was them trying to tell me that studying titanic history doesn't matter WHEN I WAS LITERALLY GRIEVING AFTER THE SUBMERSIBLE DISASTER LAST SUMMER AND VENTING MY FRUSTRATIONS ABOUT IT. and i did snap at them that time and we worked it out and both apologized for making assumptions which was fine but still. like i almost blocked them the moment they sent me that message and now i really really really wish I had bc I feel like i'm in too deep

we also have several mutuals in common and i would worry that if I blocked them on everything, they'd ask one of our common mutuals about it (or a mutual would share my art or something) and they'd realize that I have them blocked, and then i'd have to like. explain myself. and i don't feel comfortable telling those mutuals about it bc i DO NOT want to be that person that's like 'hey jsyk you're following this person who is Problematique' bc i DESPISE when people do that

anyway yeah i just don't know how to handle it and any advice would be appreciated. idk how i've been putting up with this person's bullshit for so long like dear lord i kinda felt like i yanked the wool off my eyes today and realized how fucking awful they are to me

Hey there! Aw, thank you for the questions! It's super rare to get asks like these, so it really made my day! 😇🙏

⭐️4. What defines your artistic style?

That's a good question!🤔 (Especially since I don't know how others might perceive my art!) Due to my own visual agnosia as well, it skews my perception of my own works... So I actually end up disliking the grand majority of the things I create tbh🤣 It's hard for me to become cognizant of any strengths due to the weaknesses being highlighted (in my skewed POV) sometimes! But from the comments I have kindly received before, I would say that my art is defined by: clean/polished lineart, round/"squishy" chibis, warm colors, and "an aura of softness/tenderness"! Truthfully, I would love to be known for having a well-rounded and versatile style! As in: switching from a dynamic + appealing full-body style to a charming chibi style with precision and confidence!💪 And in general: I'd like to be known for drawing handsome faces on full-body characters instead of only having a "cute" style tbh LOL

⭐️8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?

Oh man…For a self-critic, this is a tough yet great question too!!😂--There's usually elements of a picture I enjoy working on VS how the overall picture eventually turns out! But looking back at everything I've posted publicly so far on twitter from 2022-2023…I think it'd have to be these! ↓

And a special shout out to this Walter-Lucifer pseudo-fiend character turnaround sheet that started off as a "haha just messing around :^)" sketch but then quickly turned serious 2 days later LOL. I did like incorporating SMT4 Lucifer's Phase 2 wings on him, since the in-game design includes this gradient on the wings too. 😇🙏

⭐️14.What do you like drawing the most?

As a surprise to no one, my favorite thing to draw would be WalterJonathan---both the pairing and the individual characters LOL. There's actually a personal reason for this, but maybe that'll be a story for another time! Whether or not the majority of these (finished/ polished) sketches will ever see the light of day is also to be determined in the future...😂 Despite these canon Satan Husbands going through the many unspeakable horrors they suffer within base SMT4 + SMT4 Apoc's canon (and even the duology of the SMT4 manga's canon too!), I'll always prefer to draw them being sweet with each other...🥺 To at least give them a single soft moment of reprieve that they deserve...!😭🙏

↑ I also enjoy drawing the details of the SMT4 samurai coat/uniform! As well as other things and details like: 💙the SMT protags' COMPs + SMT4 Gauntlet 💙Clothing folds 💙Side profiles 💙Backside angles 💙Painting hair 💙Drawing hands 💙Dynamic chibis + dynamic body language in general (that convey a character's personality)

…and probably some more things I'm forgetting LOL.

💙↑ edit: I forgot how much I like sketching out Pokemon as quick warm-ups + other critters like the MOTHER/Earthbound Mr.Saturns too! It's good practice in understanding different shapes.

Ghost is looking down at his smartphone and holds his breath: he almost forgot about your birthday. Not Riots - YOURS, my dear friend. It's a good thing, others from 141 (and ANY other guys and ladies from CoD universe) are gathered at the common room. So Ghost clears his throat and says: "Looks like we've almost missed something critically important - our friends birthday. Now I need your best ideas on how, where and when we are celebrating. We owe her so much, we simply must make the best party, she could ever wish for." And that is where you step in. What would each of them propose? How would the party look like? What presents will they give you? What would they cook for you? How each of them would congratulate you? What will be 2-3 most important moments about this very special evening?

LOL well, my birthday is like, in twelve days, so, let's see hmmm

Soap (of course) - I think he'd propose a big ass party, knowing full well that i hate them (anxiety), but his love language I think is trying to get everyone to feel as appreciated as he can, and what would be best that surround the person in question with friends? Alternatively, he'd be perfectly ok with planning a low key reunion with a small group of people (more manageable). I think he'd either gift something he'd made, like a painting

Gaz - He'd either go all out like Soap or organize a low key reunion, like pizza and movies at someone's house, and he'd be more attentive to the birthday person's desires. I have the feel from him that he'd either get you gift cards or take you shopping for whatever you want.

Price - I think he's the more attentive but in a father like way. He'd try to remember the things you like or don't, would bring you flowers (and if you ever mentioned your favourites in his presence, he'd remember and bring those) because he is a gentleman, maybe a gift card as well and pay for you if the group goes out for your birthday (and pays for everyone else too). I wholeheartedly he'd hug you to wish you a happy birthday (Gaz and Soap would as well, but Price's hugs are something else)

Ghost - Well. Ahem. I don't think he would even register anyone's birthday unless that person was very close, like, core team of TF141 close. And I think that person would receive, maybe, a quiet nod after someone else mentions there's a birthday happening, but he'd never be the first one to mention it or attract attention into it. If you're friends he'd join the group at the pub or at the pizza+movies at home (he'd prefer that for sure). If you're more than friends, well... pizza+movies at home for sure, but alone. And about gifts, I think it'd be either an Amazon gift card or something more personal if you're involved, like a carved piece, (because I HC that he carves wood as a way to control stress)

Nikolai - If you're good friends he'll appear with some contraband/hard to find/weird but amazing shit that he'd thought you'd like (and he was right). Just like Price, he'll insist on taking the group out for dinner and drinks and pay for it (in the end Price and him will try to outwit the other to pay), or if you prefer the pizza and movies at home he'll insist on ordering the best pizza that can be found in town ('only the best for you')

The most important moment of this whole scenario? Feeling that you belong. That you have a family, even if small, different and disfunctional. Reliable ones that you know would give their life for you, and they know you'd do the same.

The sound of heeseung groaning in frustration while shouting something incoherent into his headset for the nth time sent you grumbling, sitting up on the bed irked.

Had you wished he would stop playing and come drift to a peaceful doze that excluded what he was doing? Yes. Did he say he'd be there hours ago? Again, yes.

Yet there he was, seated on his chair with this finger fast away against the keys with his pointer finger constantly prompting the left button of his wireless mouse.

At that rate, it'd break. Though, it was the least of your concerns because heeseung would take time off the game and at least pay attention to you, unlike now.

You were robbed of your boyfriend by a mere game whose title laughed at you?! Not that you knew much about the game, but it was abbreviated as LOL, which to you was laughing out loud and not League of Legends.

You'd think he'd come straight to bed after showering and settling in his faded green sweatshirt with his hair disheveled and fluffy. Apparently not.

With a towel hanging around his neck, he set it into the drying rack, and instead of his feet finding their way to you, they stepped to his desk and peered open his laptop.

So, there he was, headset on with his laptop fuming with the graphic processing, not that he could hear it, for hours together. You huff, returning to the comfy bed, watching heeseung stress over winning the game. And just then, an idea struck you.

"heeseung," you exclaim, attempting to override the disturbance from his headset. He didn't turn around, letting you know that he hadn't heard you. You drawl a groan, reaching to the empty wrapper on his bedside table, crushing it to a ball, and aiming it to hit his head, which did and garnered his attention.

He moved the headset off of one ear, "yeah?"

"did you find the pot of gold yet?"

"no..? why did you ask?"

"isn't that the point if the game, you know, league of leprechaun or something,"

"huh," he pauses, his eyes drifting to you for a split second while a chuckle escaped his lips before his orbs glided back to the monitor. "it's league of legends,"

"yeah, yeah, whatever it's called, lol! get it?" You inquire in hopes of a laugh or a crack of a smile, receiving nothing but silence accompanied by the clashing of keys and the repeated click of his mouse.

"are you even listening?" you say, irritated that he paid utmost concentration to the game. An exasperated groan erupts from heeseung, the noise of his equipment getting louder s he desperately tries to save the game.

You get off the bed, march to his desk, and thump your hands onto the desk, swiping his hands off the keyboard and mouse. You place your hands over the mouse and keys you use him use periodically.

Though you never played the game didn't mean you didn't watch him play. You observed his long fingers reach for the keys and press them in a rush for an attack.

You lean over his shoulder, peering at the screen while hitting a combination of the random keys he regularly sought, the vigorous clicking of the mouse and keyboard filling the room as heeseung observed with his headset still on his ears.

You eye the critical tower crumble, becoming one with the dust and rubble on the path in the game, a victorious smirk harboring on your lips, turning to heeseung, whose jaw fell slack from watching you single-handedly manage to win the game.

You overheard the roar of screams emerging from his headset as they all cheered for heeseung while the real winner was, indeed, you. He smiled at you, your hand ruffling his hair.

"now, that's done, can we go to bed?" you ask, though it was a rhetorical question because heeseung going to bed with you whether he wanted to play for longer or not.

He bid his teammate's a goodbye, switching off his laptop and successfully climbing into bed beside you, slinging an arm over your waist as you buried your face into his chest.

"where'd learn that from,"

"oh, I don't know, from watching you, I guess. It came in handy," You reply, chuckling before falling asleep in heeseung's warm embrace.

How I Feel About This Character

She's not my favorite, but I don't necessarily hate her. She has a ton of potential to work with for writing/character studies given that she doesn't have much of a backstory in the show. So, while I do get and agree with most of the criticism towards her, I like that she's a complicated character. (That's not to say she's the most deeply complex character out there, not by any means lol) We need more female characters like that. Especially ones that don't get vitriolic hate for just EXISTING, y'know?

All The People I Ship Romantically With This Character

Chloe x Christine shipper all the way! I love the idea of them together, I just think they'd be really cute. And I also really like the idea of her and Madeline having complicated feelings for each other. Like, they like each other, but Chloe's weirdly jealous of her too or something like that? Basically cursed yuri if you really think about it

My non-romantic OTP For This Character:

I don't ship PinkBerry, but I like her and Brooke fixing the issues in their friendship and actually growing into their own people/becoming better friends as a result. I like to think that once they really get to know each other, they don't rely on each other as much but still stay friends. Idk man, she's hard though I do like the idea of her Jenna and Rich being chaotic together. They're actively disturbing the peace and they look hot doing it

My Unpopular Opinion About This Character

I see her either trying to be a better person and treating the others better, OR joining an MLM. There's no in between. Like she either follows the mean girl to nurse/lawyer/politician pipeline, but just isn't as mean, or gets really chill and tries to push that part as far deep as she can from her.

One Thing I Wish Would Happen/Had Happened With Them In Canon

That we learn more about her! Like her homelife, her interests, her goals, her relationships and how they came to be with the other characters, just more about her other than "the bitchy mean girl." Both that and her actions get discussed or acknowledged. They probably do in canon, and I could just be clueless, but from what I know that just? Doesn't happen? They don't talk about some of the messed-up stuff she did, so that'd be nice to see in either canon or fanfiction.

My OTP

Her and Christine. I could just see the two of them caring about each other and her being someone Chloe feels comfortable with. She feels like she can talk to her, and Christine has the person she's most afraid of judging her, not doing that at all. She even gets her into acting too and it's something they bond over, just so much fun dynamics to explore with them. I love them <3

My Cross-Over Ship

I haven't thought about it all that much, but honestly, her and Harper or Missy from Heartbreak High. I don't know why, I just think they'd be cool together for whatever reason. That or like Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop or Ashley Graham from Resident Evil just because it'd be really funny

A Headcanon Fact

This has probably been said before, but like most of the rest of the cast I see her home life being pretty bad too. Her parents are probably absent or just can't connect with her, so she acts the way she does as a result. I don't think they're bad people, just not around enough to really get to know her. That's not to excuse her behavior though, it's just my weird way of seeing it.

How Katniss says “I love you”

“Take your clothes off”

Peeta blinked, “What?”

“Let’s take a shower together,” Katniss said, a little shy. She turned around then, rather abruptly, and a second later there’s the sound of the faucet filling up the tub.

Peeta just stood there in the kitchen, a tray of bread in hand, a little bit shocked about this newfound plan he was informed about. Katniss does this sometimes, says random things, orders him around, surprises him with unplanned activities.

Spontaneous wasn’t something he would use to describe her but sometimes she just is.

“Peeta, make some stew. I got you some squirrels”

“Peeta, get my extra sheath of arrows. We’re going hunting.”

“Peeta, come here already. Or I’m putting my clothes back on”

Well, the last one Peeta didn’t mind. But sometimes Katniss just takes him off guard. Like this time.

“Peeta”, Katniss calls from the bathroom, “the water’s going to be cold.”

Peeta can’t really say no to Katniss when she’s like this. That and he really doesn’t want to anyway. So he goes to Katniss like always.

“Oh”, Peeta exhales as he stands there frozen in the doorway. Because Katniss is already in the tub and she’s not wearing any clothes and she’s wet and oh God, what was he supposed to do?

“Well”, she asks, “how long are you going to stand there?”

Peeta gulps, a shiver running down his spine, from the cold tile of the bathroom or from Katniss eyes boring into him, he doesn’t know. He moved closer to the tub, removed his clothes - his apron and oven mitts because he was still wearing them, his shirt, his pants, until nothing was left to cover his burns and scars and patched skin. And still Katniss looks at him, traces every part of him, and takes it all in.

Funny how nervous this still makes him, him stripping in front of her and her watching, as if he hadn’t done this a lot of times now, as if it’s still their first time together.

Maybe it is, every moment still feels like a first time with Katniss, between his broken memories and this new era of fragile peace.

Slowly, he immerses himself in the tub and settles himself in the space in front of her. He leans to her and plants a kiss on her bended knees. He smiles that smile of his, so genuine but always with a hint of shyness, as he watches a blush creeping up on Katniss’ shoulders.

“Turn around, I’ll wash your hair,” Katniss instructs as she reaches for the shampoo, trying to hide her face between the strands of hair but not the small smile of her face.

“Oh okay,” Peeta replies as he moves closer and turns around so his back faces her. He tries to still the ripples around him, giddy like him, but unable to like the confusion in his mind because he thinks ‘is washing the hair the next step in this?’

But Katniss pays no mind to Peeta’s stillness and confusion, just reaches for the shampoo and runs it into Peeta’s hair, lathers his scalp, massages his head. Katniss thought Peeta would be more enthusiastic with this. It was their first time sharing a bath too. But Peeta’s uncharacteristically hesitant and silent. Maybe he doesn’t like these kinds of things, maybe she went overboard this time. But she’s determined to do this so she continues. She starts to scrub his shoulders down to his back and up again. Up and down, up and down, gently like one would with a child, like she did with Prim.

“I used to do this with Prim”, Katniss spills into Peeta's silence, “we showered together because the water gets scarce in the seam. But really I just wanted to wash her hair.”

“Oh”, was all Peeta replies. Because all he can think of now - his confusion gone, his expectations forgotten - is how soothing Katniss’ touches are. He leans into it, into her. It seemed surreal.

He feels like a child, a kid sharing a bath with her mother. But that never did happen to him. His mother, sometimes it hurts to think of her, never really touched him like this - tender, careful, gentle. Nobody in his family did. He misses them terribly. His mom, his father, Rye and Bran. And before he knew it there were tears on his face.

“Peeta you’re crying. Did I get shampoo in your eyes?” Katniss asks with a hint of panic in her voice.

“No, it’s nothing. It’s just nobody had done this for me,” Peeta says as he turns around to face Katniss, “Thank you, Katniss.”

Peeta knows that a simple thank you isn’t enough to convey these unbridled emotions in him — how she made him feel wanted; made him feel loved; made him feel like a human being; battered, broken, burned, and still she made him feel he was home. But he doesn’t need to because Katniss knows.

“Oh.” Because that’s the only thing Katniss can reply to the look in Peeta’s eye. He looks at her like she’s given him his leg back. And that’s too much really because she’d just washed his hair, hasn’t she? But she’ll allow it. She’ll allow him to look at her like she’s the sunset in the sky, like she’s the love of his life because that’s how she looks at him too and because it’s true. And God forbid because she doesn’t know what else to say. Peeta’s the one with words and she’s the one who fumbles with them so she says it with the way she knows how.

She says it in her actions and that’s why she does these things. The stew, the hunting, the bed, the bath.

Katniss kisses him, tastes the tears and the bitter soap in his mouth.

God how she resents his mother, that witch, for beating him; his father, always so gentle and yet still a coward, for allowing it to happen; for his brothers for not standing up for him. How he resents Snow for taking out the chance Peeta could have with his family again, for how he took Prim from her.

Katniss takes it all in (her resentment, Peeta’s hurt, her anger, his abuse, their trauma) and kisses him gently at his temples, his eyelids, his nose, his neck, his shoulders - she kisses him everywhere.

Katniss kisses him until all that remains is their love too big for her alone to carry, too large that it spills from their every kiss and touch, too heavy that it sinks in the depths of their souls and settles there.

Katniss kisses until he shudders with the intensity of it; presses her lips to his until she has to come up for air. Kisses him because this... this is how she says “I love you.”

I care about her about as much as the person directing that scene did :))) Sure it'd be cool if it was someone we knew, but eh. At the end of the day, it didn’t matter who Sam was married (and yes, he was, I know some people like to pretend he wasn’t but he had a wedding ring) to - what mattered is that Sam managed to have a normal life and a legacy, found someone who probably made him happy, and ended up at peace - getting back to the person he loved most. Was it perfect? Oh hell no. Would I have kept watching without it? Oh hell no :) There’s nothing like it on TV. 13. Sam & Mary or Sam & John?

While I was interested in any Sam’n’Mary crumbs the show cared to give us, ultimately I’m always gonna answer Sam and John. I remember watching the very first episodes for the very first time and already being obsessed with their relationship, and weirdly enough, loving the scenes of them fighting haha So much passion in there!!! You can tell how much they love each other when they fight!!! Aaaah it’s all heartbreaking and amazing 🥲 And then there was Lebanon, with its great resolution and Jared and JDM’s amazing acting <3

(also I can tell you from experience - maybe don’t watch the 5x13 Sam and John scene if you’ve recently lost your dad. Suuuper painful. :/)

27. Your take on Bobby’s treatment of Sam?

I’m not gonna be as critical as some other Sam fans - I do think Bobby did the best he could. He tried to keep Sam alive in 4x21 when Dean was saying “at least he dies human” and then couldn’t shoot him; told him how proud he was of him in s10; overcame his vengeful-spiritness in s7 to not kill him, and so on.

That being said - yeah, the double standards and Dean being Bobby’s favorite? As a Sam girl, can’t say I loved that. :/ So I do think his treatment of him was a bit unfair at times. I do think he should never have said Dean was his favorite, because I don’t think he should have had a favorite.

But at the end of the day, Bobby mattered enough to Sam to be the one representing the part of him who respected his wishes in 9x01. And hey, that’s good enough for me.

Hi there, the anon from the last question, so uhm, you wised me a happy weekend and... my dad passed away lol 🙃 not feeling the greatest but it's kind of nice that there's a world outside this cruel and coating grief

In regards of Ghosts, I really hope you finish it. I really hope that even if it takes years, it comes to an end. Or, if not, if you would even consider sharing with us how you intended to finish it, how things would evolve and so on, but hey, I truthfully hope you one day find the will to continue, I know how hard it can get to come to terms and peace with your very own writing and ideas and everything in between, so wishing you a happy day, week and life. Excited for your answer, btw!!!

I'm sorry I took so long to respond to this, I kind of didn't have the emotional bandwidth to answer earlier, that first part was a lot to hear. And I know whatever I felt receiving that news isn't even a fraction compared to what you're holding. I'm so sorry, I don't know what sort of relationship you had with your dad or the circumstances of his passing, but even in the most estranged father-child relationships, I think most people would still feel really misplaced after a death like that. I'm holding you. I hope the grief moves through you with as much grace as possible. Thank you for all the kindness and well wishes too!! I really hope so too. I think someone else actually once asked to see the notes for Ghosts, I'm so embarrassed by them though...most likely because of the nature of the work itself. I feel like angst has SOOOOOOO many cringe pitfalls and like if you don't flesh out an idea properly it comes off as really fucking dumb and juvenile LOL. idk maybe i'm just overly critical and this is some internalized shit about discounting the pain of yourself and others as a negligible joke, but either way, i def prefer the delivery to have some intelligence attached than what my notes can provide lol. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for a long awaited continuation... I loved this series and I love writing, and there's still a long way to go from here, it'd seem like such a waste. Oh yeah. I agree with your criticism - was just thinking in terms of what the show gave us. There's precedent set (like 10 never telling Rose and THAT being a super huge "omg" moment several times throughout his time). I can see them not saying it a lot, but I do firmly believe like you that the Dr definitely told River they love her a lot more than we saw. And yeah, Let's Kill Hitler definitely was a confession - they can pry that from our cold dead hands because there's absolutely nothing else he could've said.

I mean someone could argue River always had a back up plan when she jumped out of the buildings etc but like. She absolutely didn't lmao. Opening an airlock to space? Jumping out of the high rise in 1969? Like I think Moffat wanted to create "unrest" to make it "spicy" or something - like how most TV shows won't let couples be domestic and happy - bc he definitely did that with Amy and Rory their entire time for... Absolutely no reason and attributed to about 85% of why I didn't like 11's run too much the first time I saw it. Hadn't noticed TATM was the shift for Dr/River's dynamic, but you're right (and come to think of it, wasn't that like... The first time they ever brought up "he doesn't like endings" like ever?? I mean it'd make sense, with meta and analysation, but if I remember correctly 11 didn't really show any emotions before then about endings - hell, he seemed p content in the Big Bang 2). And I would've liked to have seen it, too, if Moffat was gonna pull that shit like he did. At least give us the good angst feels (with the comfort later or else why have it at all lol) and not just say, "lol so River has more angst but we don't have time to get into that right now (or ever)." Bc I remember the first time I saw THoRS and being so confused - bc where did all that come from???? Fics have made good of what's been given but Moffat really went, "lol continuity whomst. Everything must be dark and mysterious!"

I agree with your analysis of it lol - they kinda left no other way to do it. I wish we'd gotten more of a breakdown after the Ponds. Like we know 11 became a broody sod for a year and then Clara magically pulled him out and he never really brooded again. And I suppose River saying she's fresh from Manhattan MIGHT explain why we never see more from her about it. But her being fresh from Manhattan and being perfectly okay and like That with Ramone during THoRS??? Doesn't really make sense. She's got bravado and can put up a show but there's no point to that when no one around would need the extra show (and she didn't even need to go and be around people at all, which I kinda feel like she probably didn't, at least not for a while). Esp since she didn't realize who 12 was and had accepted the Dr must be somewhere else. But yeah, Moffat was hella wrong (about far more than their established dynamic lol).

AND I KNOW, this is after Darillium, but I think we can all agree at the time it was written there was no intention for Darillium to have been 24 years and that this reflects her attitude to their relationship basically up to and, in fact, including TATM. Anyway I don’t really think I need to go on, it’s CLEAR River was under no illusions of how much she meant to the Doctor and had no doubts that he’d always show up when she called so I really really hate how we have to either reverse-engineer a mostly-off screen relationship crisis after TATM or just let her rant in THORS tinge everything we’ve seen of entire their relationship up to that point, which seems very unfair to all involved, audience definitely included. However I do think River is very far from being okay in the beginning of THORS, in a lot of ways she’s reverted to the chaotic behavior she got up to more when she was young, and does not seem at all like the much more settled older River we know, even though this is as old as she’ll be before the Library. She’s messing around with fuckboys and though she gives the impassioned rant to Hydroflax about how she’s going to right his wrongs then she just goes to fence the diamond lol. I see 11′s behavior in 7B (tried sulking, didn’t work, now I’m going to pick up a new human and go have adventures and ignore all of my problems and feelings) as very much the same sort of thing. But like. GIVE US SOME MORE CONTEXT PLEASE. OR AT LEAST LET US KNOW THIS WAS GOING ON WHILE IT WAS GOING ON AND NOT WAY AFTER???? And now bc of this we get shit like James Goss’s takes on their relationship in BF and UUUuuuUUUUuuuughhhhhhhhhh Yea I’ll be ranting about this till the end of my days, it’s fine, it’s fine
