Perfect example of people choosing to believe their own perception of people's actions over the things people actually say.

The fact that people watched this Live with subtitles and came out thinking " yes taekook is real" really baffles me. Some of you really come on here and prove everyday that the only experience of relationships you have are from movies, novels and fanfic because trust me, couples in real life don't act like that at all.

Cuz wdym "jk devouring tae with his eyes"???? The sexual tension was so hot with taekook that it was Jimin's door JK was going to knock at 1am? Jk just couldn't keep his eyes off Tae and that is why he visited Jimin's hotel room 3 times a day? Tae and JK are just so used to being with each other and that is why Tae went to jimin's room and thought it was Jk's because it was Jk who opened the door and greeted him?

if Jk was devouring Tae with his eyes i guess JK and MIngyu finished their 2 minutes live fast so they could go tear the clothes off each other's backs cuz damn!!!! did u see the way JK was staring at mingyu while licking his lips? Plus that was the same night Tae came into the country from one of his paris trips and Jk sure has a funny way of showing his attraction for tae because we only see in his eyes how he wants to "devour" tae but we are seeing him with Mingyu the day his boyfriend gets back into town from a trip or we are hearing that he is knocking on Jimin's door at 1:50am to get in a there doing nothing for about 4 hours at a time.

We only see how "attracted"Jk is to tae when he constantly calls him handsome but when the staff hide cameras in the boys hotel rooms without telling them to catch a candid reaction, we see tae getting into his hotel room alone and see Jk and JM getting into Jk's room together and panicking at the door when they notice cameras.

Jk is so attracted to Tae and is so down to devour him that when he shares a room with him, he chooses to go spend every night in jimin and jhope's room (according to Jimin and jhope) to the point that he becomes an unofficial member of the room and they even form their unit name 3J.

Jk is so ready to "devour" tae that he is seen "hiding" in a dark corner at Jhope's JITB party with Jimin, with his hand over Jimin's while his boyfriend is on the dance floor.

Y'all always screaming "sexual tension" or "jk is devouring tae with his eyes' but every two business days we see or hear of Jk spending most of his nights with other people. Even in chapter two where taekook were "free" they still couldn't take their time to physically release that "sexual tension". they go snowboarding and have a good chance to stay back just the two of them and release the tension but one of them chooses to go back home with friends, they attend a musical and have the chance to keep each other warm that night or keep each other company, yet Jk goes home to start a Live and fall asleep on Live. They attend a premiere and even have drinks after and naturally, you would think after such a fun night out with friends and some alcohol in their system, they would want to, you know....release some of that pent up tension but we have Jk going back to his apartment and starting a Live all alone while Tae is passed out drunk in his apartment. He couldn't even stay back to take care of his drunk boyfriend or cuddle him to sleep. he choose to seek company from millions of fans on the internet.

On couple holidays or birthdays when you would expect that they will spend time together giving each other "gifts", you hear " did V come?' "V hyung didn't come", or " even though we are all in the same group, during all our days off i only saw Jimin hyung and Hobi Hyung" or you hear that JK was with Jimin at 4am on his birthday. Even in chapter two after all the hangouts your ship couldn't even make time to be together on one of the days when u would expect couples to be together. We had Jk going Live for about 5 hours all alone on white day even though his "boyfriend" was in the same damn country.

He is so wanting to "devour" tae that he wakes up in the morning at 8 am, starts a live and when his bandmate comments, he starts inviting himself to his house and asking said bandmate to let him come over for a live and a shower later. one would think that because of the obvious "attraction" between Jk and Tae, they are the ones we would have "caught" getting into a hotel room together, or "hiding" in dark corners at parties with hands touching, at parties, or hearing that tae's door was the one that Jk went to knock at 1am, or we should have atleast heard that when Tae and Jk finally got to be roomies, Jk would sleep in their room everynight, but nooooooo, my guy was still going to sleep in Jimin and jhope's room even though his was literally roomies with his boyfriend.

At the very least, we should have atleast heard that Tae was the one he was drinking late at night with and ended up with a bruise on an erogenous part of his body but noooooo, it wasn't.

Seems like this "attraction" is only alive in theory because Jk has a very funny way of showing it.

Continue believing the voices in your heads and your own perception of things instead of using your tiny brains to think. You hear that Jk literally is almost always in another member's room at ungodly hours, instead of snuggling with his boyfriend and u are talking about Jk wanting to devour someone who has told us more than once that at some ungodly hour of the night, Jk was hogging Jimin all to himself and not letting Jimin go to him.

Talking about "looking at the bigger picture" but there is evidence of your ship spending birthdays and couple holidays with everyone but each other. Talking about "it is everything we have noticed about them over the years" but it is Jk knocking obsessively visiting another member's hotel room and his so called boyfriend not even knowing his room.

According to you people Tae is annoyed or jealous about Jk talking with his friends or about jimin pinching Jk's thigh but the same Jk sat there and was ok with Jimin telling him and everyone else how his "boyfriend' was basically obsessed with his room and comes there more often than mangers and even comes at 1:50am. i can imagine tae fast asleep and Jk sneaking out to go knock Jimin's door at 1am to get in there doing "nothing". The fact that taekookers know how walk forward and not backwards really amazes me because you lot really are the most delusional bunch of shippers the world has ever known.

Shut it down, TKKrs. I've never heard any of these arguments before. Compelling!

You mentioned somewhere that Jimin ended up being your favourite dancer in BTS. And yes, he is pretty amazing. Can you list your favourite Jimin performances?

I personally think each of the 3J is special and talented. The energy Hobi brings is unmatchable and he is the king of street dance. JK is crisp and clean in his movements and I hope he goes back to b-boying because he was so good at it! Jimin - his knowledge of other forms of dance help him, but what I love is the smoothness…the fluidity is what gets you. He is sexy. Drop dead sexy when he dances.

When I was not yet an ARMY and kinda just watched BTS from the sidelines, there was a performance I saw that made me really notice Jimin. I was in Korea at the time and saw it in person live at a music show, and I remember afterwards looking up every single performance version and fancam for like a whole day. The performance I saw was 21st Century Girl on October 27, 2016. I've found a fancam so y'all can have an idea of what I saw up close.

(First of all, 21st Century Girl is such a criminally underrated song. This track is a solid bop)

He was the best dancer on that stage. Or maybe it's more accurate to say I liked his dancing the best. Even though he missed a small move every time he did the chorus. The way he weighted his movements was ridiculous, it was like he would fall over any minute but he still somehow maintained his balance - it creates such a sickening effect and it elevates his dancing. And that's my favorite thing about Jimin's dancing, and what I think sets him above practically any other dancer in k-pop: it's how he weights his movements. The dancer closest to Jimin (which is still by a wide margin to be honest) in this skill is maybe Ten. But this is basically Jimin's secret weapon, he moves like he's indulging in his movements, even when it is sharp and hard-hitting. It looks so natural and easy for him, but when he amps up the energy it feels extreme. Like, as different from 'natural and easy' as is possible, that the fact he is dancing like that, at all, itself becomes the source of awe.

Hey there anon!, I deeply understand your emotions. The hate that JM is going through is really bad and I have personally reported those accounts on twt etc. I even took a few snapshots of a tiktok video comment section... I will surely share them some day or another. Well then lets get started! I can't compare J-HOPE TO JM because they are my biases and both of them captivated my eyes, I just can't resist their flawless moves and they make a great dance unit... it would be incomplete without one of them + JK lol.

Most armies would say that JK is the golden maknae or he's the best overall in the team, well y'all took JM for granted, he's capable of doing so many things as well. Believe me or not, you should pay more attention on his facial expressions... he keeps it graceful. His fingers and angle are on point.

2. Loving member

Jimin is the member that I connect emotionally to, he's a sentimental person but he just doesn't show it you just have to pay attention on his behaviour and actions. He consoles many of the members and he provides comfort for them. The picture I attached below sets a great example.

1. BTS MAMA 2018... It was a tough year for them. They were close to disbanding, and the members were emotionally drained. My heart sank when I saw hobi breaking down in front of the crowd, you can find tons of fancams but you should take a close look at Jimin. He handled the situation very well and I love the way he gives his subtle touch of love towards the other members.

2. Taehyung grandma death announcement

I don't think that I need to explain the about the situation. Taehyung was really sad and felt guilty as he couldn't mention his grandma name. He broke down and Jimin immediately noticed him and ran towards him and just gave him little pat/huggie.

3. The Final

Even by looking at the picture you can see the comfort. You know that GCF-TOKYO song “there for you’ which implies that Jk means he will be there for jimin but "you gotta be there for me too” which means jimin gotta be there for him too. So yeah, JM just know jungkook well and he comforts Jk pretty well.It was so cute and i wished i was a part of the audience, i would have had a panic attack looking at them being so cute,fluff,intimate ON STAGE . Too bad it’s impossible now .

3.He's a badass [ athletic/ physical ]

Jimin has often talked about his experience in kendo,japanese fencing,Geomdo (검도, 劍道) “Way of the Sword” & hapkido. HAPKIDO: electid korean martial arts .It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, grappling, throwing techniques, kicks, punches, and other striking attacks.

.4.Academic excellence

After Namjoon Jimin has the most remarkable academic achievements in bts. He was one of the top students in junior high and was THE top student in Busan arts high school from ALL the departments. Fun fact Jimin IQ is 128! He was valedictorian too.

"When he was in junior high, he was one of the top students so Jimin's dad thought of enrolling him in a foreign language school. When he decided to go to an arts school, his teachers tried to stop him and were disappointed. He was accepted as the top of his class and attended Busan High School of Arts. He was doing really good. Then he switched to K-pop dancing and decided to be a trainee in Seoul. Teachers also tried to stop him and were disappointed. Park Jimin's life is really something.

36. Our Jimin didn't spend a lot of time preparing for the arts school. He was dancing popping when he decided to go to the arts school. He then learned modern dancing for a little over a year and was accepted at Busan High School of Arts as the top of his class even though he was a dance majorπ TT TT Every member in this group could've been successful at anything. That group is our pride, BTS.

60. Wow! If there's only one dance class, it's really incredible~ It's hard to get a top student from dance department. And it was achieved by a male student and it's Park Jimin TTTT

67. That's what I know too.. I was looking into Busan Arts School before and one class for dance is probably correct. It was mostly music and art classes that I remember. So from Busan Arts School, one out of ten classes and a male student from dance department getting accepted as the top of the class...the percentage is just incredible. I know that the dance class has about 40 students? And male students could be 25:15 or 30:10. Jimin broke through this and became the top.

Namjoon and Jimin really made a huge gamble. They could've went the easier way. Truthfully, if they went their way, they both would have succeeded. But becoming an idol and not knowing what their future will be and BTS not being successful from the beginning must have been really hard for them. But now I'm glad they're successful and they can realize they've made the right choice."

I really respect and idolize him. His personality is unique and its different.He's been through alot. Being kicked from BTS for 8+ times, the members ranking his looks as the last and being called fat and ugly, that's really disturbing. He starved and went on diets just to please the audience and to have a jawline. He works his ass of and he really deserves more. He's obviously cutie,sexy,lovely,sweet guy! He prioritize his career, family and fans before anything. He has absolute heavenly vocals (+crazyyy high notes) and he is the definition of stage presence. PARK JIMIN IS THE STANDARD. Solo toxic fans are definitely going to attack on me but this is the reality.Jimin deserves more and he's such a sweet person. He performs with his whole heart and expresses it wonderfully,he goes all out and each performance comes out from his soul. He loves to perform. I MEAN FOR THE LOOKS, JIMIN IS THE FIRST FOR JUNGKOOK~.

He once even wasn't able to attend THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW due to his sore muscles.

He went through alot and he deserves the #1 in brand reputation, who doesn't admire his determination?

its funny how we struggled so much to get Boy Meets Evil to 10mil views (which still only has about 15mil views in 11 months) while Serendipity is at 14mil after only four days yet y'all still try to deny the disparities in love and attention between the boys.

edit: yes I'm aware they've grown since the release of BME but the point is that we even struggled to it to 10 mil by hoseoks birthday and they had more fans then too.... even now it's still only at 15 mil. not to mention this is not the only example of this kind of thing. may i remind you guys that hoseoks solo cam from the 3J stage is only vaguely over 3mil likes while jimin and jks are at 14mil and 10mil, respectively.

bottom line is that i'm so beyond done with people denying the fact that the hyungs get less love and attention.

Ok, my favorite Cypher is Cypher pt. 4, although Cypher pt. 3 is sometimes how it's gotta be. My favorite part in Cypher pt. 4 is the end of Hoseok's verse that starts right after "Dream come true." *chef's kiss*

Funny story, for months I thought that was Yoongi singing that last part lol of course it doesn't make any sense why he'd come on the last few lines when it's Hoseok's verse, but I thought it sounded like him and I was really team Yoongi when I was a baby stan (he's still my favorite rapper tbh) so I think I was just really hoping it was him too? But I'm very comfortable in my life as a hopeworldian now and I'm feelin pretty good about it. ✌

9. Your favorite AGUST D and RM track?

From mono, "Moonchild." Definitely. "Tokyo" would be next. This whole mixtape is honestly just so healing and low-fi and chill that it's hard to pick a go-to, but that's why "Moonchild" sticks out for me. I have a moonchild necklace that someone made ✌

For AGUST D, it's probably "So Far Away." I could listen to either SFA or "Give it to Me" on repeat, but SFA just takes me somewhere else when I listen to it. And both are so different lol Suran's sweet voice reminds me of Jimin and I think she works really well.

Jimin's Got that Busan Juju + A Comment on His Photo Folio (Repost)

Anonymous: Hi BPP, I hope the concert was wonderful and everything you asked for. I would really like to know your opinion/analysis about my query below because I started with BTS last year and I am still struggling to figure this out.

So before I started with BTS, the one person whose name I constantly heard was Jimin. Some of my friends who are into BTS loved him and it felt like he was everywhere so when I started with BTS I tried to avoid him. I tend to veer towards the less well known member. However, no matter how hard I tried, I always saw myself watching Jimin. It started with performances and then everything else. Now I don't think he is my bias. I often try to stay loyal to the hyung line but I somehow end up looking at Jimin. I just don't get it. What sort of magic is this? Am I noticing him because everyone else is? I am so confused about this whole situation. Like I know he is good to look at but any idea what the deal is. Lol, I sounds like a teenager with a crush. Do other people feel this as well or am I actually a teenager with a crush?

Jimin’s visuals have always been my favorite. His vocals have always been my favorite. And I’ve slowly come to accept he’s the best dancer in BTS. There was a time (mid-2018 or so) that he seemed so perfect I briefly considered the possibility he might be a sociopath.

Sometimes he falls off my radar (the rapline consistently stay on my radar) but then he pranks Hobi, says something savagely sassy, or his vocals pierce my brain like a lightning rod and he gets on my radar again.

The new ARMY recruit (non-ARMY friend who watched the Grammys) asked me recently why I don’t think of Jimin as my bias or even bias wrecker (that title belongs wholly to Jungkook), and all I could say is that he doesn’t annoy me enough to be my bias, and with how much I like Jimin, I like Yoongi a touch more, Hobi a teeny bit more, and Joon about as much as I like Jimin, maybe. Why that is exactly, I don’t know. People choose their biases for all sorts of reasons, or rather, their biases choose them.

Jimin is a bit of a special case because everybody notices him. It’s quite literally impossible not to. It’s why so many people feel threatened by this guy breathing anywhere near their biases, cause they know their biases would sooner get on one knee, or better yet, turn around and kneel with their asses in the air, for Jimin to do whatever he wants. I just need y'all to watch any of their MV reaction videos, I mean BTS reacting to themselves. Pick anyone at all. And look at their faces when Jimin comes on the screen. I almost feel embarrassed for them because it’s so obvious. Jungkook showed up in Chelsea boots during soundcheck the other day, and his energy? Hyung’s copycat indeed. They all see Jimin for what he is. Jimin himself knows what he is. I have a pet theory that one reason he’s so heavily leaned into his ‘cute, harmless, almost helpless good boy’ persona lately, is to try to seem less threatening. Most maknae line solo stans hate him to a hilariously absurd degree, because they view him as real competition. It’s why they’re so proactive with their hate, always on schedule, never missing a deadline. Some hyung-line akgaes too feel that way tbh. I’ve seen more than one person say Jimin is this generation’s Prince (the artist). And let me add something I’m working on in response to another ask about my favorite sub-unit in BTS (it’s 3J after the rapline): the 3J unit is the only unit filled with aces. You read that right. J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook are the true aces in BTS, it might just take some work to see it cause one of those three people goes around saying he wants to be waited on like Cleopatra taking milk baths.

Anyway, I digress.

I hate to be that person, but in your case, you sound a bit like Anthony Bridgerton talking about Kate Sharma. You can’t take your eyes off him? You end up looking only at him? Anon, you might be under the Jimin Effect. I suspect you’ve Jim-ined and cannot Jim-out, as they say.

Maybe accept it? Loving Jimin is a very enjoyable activity and I can speak from experience.

Repost EDIT: Reading this post now, after Jimin's photofolio teasers have dropped, made me Laugh. Out. Loud.

Y'all, I hollered. Jimin really is something else, and whatever he is, only Jimin himself knows it. The other members have a very good idea, but the full expression of Jimin is something only Jimin knows. And that makes me giggle. It makes me love him a little harder. It makes me feel things - to know that there will always be something new to learn about him, to explore with him.. it's an intoxicating feeling. It's one I feel sometimes when I think about Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok. The only criticism I have of Jimin's photo folio, is that it comes with no sound, and that's a criticism I'm making only because it's Jimin. I wish this photofolio was a film series instead. Only because I want to hear more of Jimin's vocal evolution. Imagine what he would sound like inspired by the moon's relationship with Artemis, or "freedom"...

Anyway, I hope whoever wanted a copy was able to get one. I hope the worry-toned asks I was frequently getting about Jimin, subside now. I hope his antis finally get a clue. And I hope more of us sit back and just enjoy the ride that is Park Jimin. I've said before that I think he is the most threatening person in k-pop. Lol. It's just what it is.
