Unknown number: So it’s true that you and Mingyu are together?

That’s the first thing you saw on your phone when you woke up on a Wednesday morning. Yeah, you thought it might be Jungkook, because you saw him recently and Hana didn’t keep her mouth shut. But huh, the audacity of this man to question you about your current romantic life. You were enraged so you thought to give a simple reply and block this number too.

But then a text from another unknown number came.

Mingyu: We don’t even know if he has any. And I just know he won’t, even if he had them.

Hana: Now, she has to be even more careful about her relationship. Who knows what Jungkook is capable of. And the funny thing is that acting this way, it will only push her away, not get her back to him. Idiot.

Jun: Have you tried to talk to him? Maybe get some closure, remain in good terms, even friends?

Y/N: I have not, because I tend to cut people out, after they hurt me. I mean, he did it knowing what he was doing, I am not here to police his actions and scold him every time, he’s an adult. I shouldn’t educate a grown man. He fucked up, goodbye.

After a few more minutes of sitting in silence, looking at the view, it was time to head back home. There is no way you would give Jungkook a chance, even as friends. A chance to what, fuck up again? After he planed that shit in your trip with Mingyu? No way. Plus, you respect your bf and would not become friends with an ex who hurt both of you. This is the only thing you have on your mind and you’re walking back down to your car.

It's the end of October and Seventeen just released their new album. Incredible success hits them, tours all over the world planed for the next year and a lot more. Ugh, does this mean I’ll have to get a job as Mingyu’s shoes to be able to spend time with him?

They attend award show after award show, winning everything and celebrating with the other fellow idols after each event. There was a Friday night when it happened. The beginning of the end. You were looking at Jaehyun’s private account stories, from the after party. In one of the videos, you could clearly see your bf, having another girl’s arms wrapped around his neck, trying to kiss him.

Your heart dropped to your heels, face feeling like fire. You felt you could puke right then. No, this is not happening. He was not trying to push her away. He was smiling and he had flirty eyes. No, you’re not doing this, Kim Mingyu. Not you!

Why wouldn’t he, though? He’s handsome, tall, smart, rich. He has everything. And you’re nobody. Why would he settle for you, when he could have any woman? And with how much little time he had for you lately, no wonder he’s looking for company from others.

You feel so stupid for actually believing you were ever good enough for him. Tears are filling your eyes, rolling down your hot cheeks, as you call Hana. She calms you down before texting Taehyun to ask what’s going on with Mingyu.

Hana: Girl, he’s saying he has no idea where Mingyu is and that he’s definitely not at the event anymore.

Y/N: He left with that girl.

Hana: Now let’s not get crazy. He might be in his hotel room, sleeping.

Y/N: With her.

Hana: Ughh!! Let’s not overreact, ok? We’ll find out what happened.

You tried calling him, but no answer and no text back, the whole night. Clearly, you couldn’t sleep well, as your mind kept making up scenarios. While trying to fill your mind with other things, you hear your phone ringing in the morning. It was him. You answered and didn’t say anything.

Mingyu: Baby? Can you hear me?

Y/N: Yes. What do you want?

Mingyu: What did I do?

Y/N: I think you know better than me.

Mingyu: Wait…you’re really upset with me. Because I didn’t reply last  night? I passed out from sleep, I don’t even know when or how I got to my room. I’m sorry!

Y/N: And what about the girl you were flirting last night at the party? You were all over each other.

Mingyu: What? Who?

Y/N: Exactly. Who.

And you send the video of Taehyun’s story. There he is, with her arms holding his waist, his hands on her shoulders, just talking and laughing.

Mingyu: Omg, baby. I don’t remember any of that, I swear. You know that no matter how drunk I get, I can keep myself in check and I can remember everything the next day. But this time is all a blur.

Y/N: Of course you would say that. God, I’m so stupid. You must think I’m so stupid, right?

Mingyu: Nooo! Stop! This is a conversation we need to have in person.

Y/N: Why, you think you can fool me with those puppy eyes? Won’t work, Kim Mingyu.

Mingyu: Please, this is insanity. I can’t believe this is happening. Please, let me see you and explain. Or at least find a way to explain and remember what happened.

Thinking if you should give him a chance to explain, you finally respond with yes. But you’ll need to go see him at his work tomorrow when he arrives back to Seoul. The whole day he’s trying his best to give you attention with texts and selfies and updates of his whereabouts.

He’s doing this because he feels guilty. Because he is guilty. Fuck! He’s trying to get away with it. He hasn’t changed. Maybe he changed for a while, but he’s back to his fuckboy behavior

Next day it’s time to meet with him. Walking the hallways of the Hybe building, you see some familiar faces, but no one you ever talked with. You sit at the cafeteria and wait for him. When he arrives, he stands in the door and signals you to follow him. Of course, you can’t trust to be seen together at this early hour in the day, there’s a lot of staff now.

He takes you to a room that looks like a mini studio, where there are musical instruments and a couch. You both sit and you can tell he’s really nervous. Afraid he might see your swollen and red eyes, you avoid looking at him directly.

Mingyu: You’re not even going to look at me?

Y/N: Say what you have to say, stop wasting even more of my time.

Mingyu: Ouch, that hurt.

Y/N: Good, then we feel the same now.

Trying to take your hands into his, you pull away. You feel disgusted being touched by the same hands that touched another woman.

Mingyu: I swear nothing happened. I don’t know how, but I don’t remember even talking to her.

Y/N: How are you sure nothing happened if you don’t even remember? Come on, Mingyu, don’t take me as a fool.

Mingyu. I…

And he drops his face to the floor, defeated. He doesn’t know what to even say to you in this situation, he feels defeated. He feels like he’s stuck in quicksand and the more he’s trying to talk, the deeper he slips. You move your eyes on him, filled with tears. You’ll be damned if you let them fall. All of the sudden, someone enters the room.

Jungkook: Hey, guys. Couldn’t notice you came in here and I have something to show you.

He takes his phone out and gives it to you so you can shuffle between photos and videos.

Y/N: What the fuck do you even want now? I don’t wanna look in your fucking phone!

Jungkook: It will help with answers to your questions.

Not thinking about it, you take the phone and look at the photos. Swiping trough them, anger starts rising up. And it’s rising and rising. About to explode when you get to a video. In the video, you can clearly see and hear Mingyu and a girl kissing and talking about fucking.

Not wanting to spend another second in that snake nest, you get up and put the phone is Mingyu’s hands.

Y/N: Get fucked! Both of you!

You rush out the door. Walking towards the elevator, you see Hoshi walking in your direction and hear Mingyu calling after you. An idea appears in your head, and as you and Hoshi walk closer and closer, once you reach him, you push him into the wall and kiss him hard, so Mingyu can see.

It worked, because you hear him yell: What the fuck!!

After you finished your mission,  you pull away from Hoshi, give him a sexy wink, then you continue walking away. Mingyu comes after you and gets in the elevator.

Mingyu: That was really unnecessary.

Y/N: And you, cheating on me, was?

Mingyu: Something must of happened with me, I don’t remember anything of that. You have to believe me.

Y/N: Yeah, something did happen with you. You tripped and fell into her vagina. Right?

Mingyu: Why did Jungkook have the video, in the first place? I think he’s involved in this.

Y/N: Yeah, involved in like you had a 3some. It’s the only way I see it, because you are no better than him.

You’re so worked up and mad right now, that you turn to him and put your finger in his face, pointing at him and getting closer and closer with each step you take.

Y/N: Listen, you cheating potato! I don’t care anymore. There is nothing you could say or do that would help right now or ever. I don’t want to see you anymore, so don’t you dare call me or text me. It’s over. We’re done. Go and have fun with your bestie Jungkook. Go and continue fucking all the girls in Seoul, go ahead!

The elevator stops at the ground floor, you get out and he stays there, with tears in his eyes. He knows he lost you, knows he was stupid, knows there is no way you will ever listen to what he has to say. As he’s watching you walk away from him, he feels like everything happens in slow motion. Tears start to run down his face now, as the elevator door are closing.

What about you? Well. You’re not surprised that your eyes are now dry. No tears wanting to come out, no sorrow, just anger and disappointment. Seeing the proof with your own eyes, it kind of made you stronger. It gave you closure. Yeah, it was weird Jungkook had the photos, but as far as you’re concerned, they both might be in this together. All this might have been their game, playing with you.

No, I need to stop thinking about them. I’ll be ok, things will be ok.

You know you might cry for a while, be sad. It’s normal after a breakup. Just need to be around friends, keep the mind busy, focus on work and do everything in your power to not engage with those jerks. Maybe even make new friends, wouldn’t hurt. Maybe take a vacation and visit your home town and spend time with your friends and sister. Get away from all this.

Of course you have blocked every number and account where Mingyu could get a hold of you. Still, he has been trying to talk and meet, but you kept your ground. Yeah, you still love him, but it will transform into something else once your brain completely understands that.

Two days after the breakup, Jun calls to check up on you.

Jun: Y/N, what happened? Hoshi told me some crazy story.

Y/N: Umm, me and Mingyu broke up.

Jun: Noooo! Why?

Y/N: Basically, he cheated and I saw the proof, photos, videos and all.

Jun: Jeez!!! I don’t know what to say.

Y/N: You don’t have to say anything, don’t want you to pick sides either. You’re practically family.

Jun: I don’t want to pick sides ether, you’re right, but still, what he did is fucked up. He hasn’t changed, though we all hoped, for his sake. I’m sorry, Y/N. How are you feeling?

Y/N: Not ok, but I’ll survive.

Jun: Damn, I wish I could help, but it’s none of my business.

Y/N: Thanks Jun, I appreciate. I plan to take some vacation, go to my hometown and spend some time there.

Jun: How long will you be there?

Y/N: 2 weeks, more or less. Depends how long will my manager allow.

Jun: Will it make you feel better if I tell you how Mingyu got into trouble today?

Y/N: Actually, yes.

Jun: So it seems that last night he got really drunk and barely slept, and today he came early at work, still drunk. He did so poorly with the dance practice that everyone scolded him. Hoshi went crazy at him, even told him something like “you think you’ll get her back if you’re going to act pathetic?”. And that made me realize something happened with you and him. But I have to say, he looks pretty down, not like himself.

Y/N: That’s not my problem anymore. He made his bed.

Jun: Ok, bestie. I have to get back to rehearsal now. Hope to hear from you soon and try to have fun while you’re on vacation, ok? Send pictures!

While on vacation, you kept in touch with Jun, exchanging fun photos and texting. He didn’t bring up Mingyu anymore, he knew you’d hate it. He also knew you were a mess and hurting a lot inside, even though you were trying to hide it. He made sure to send lots of cute cats videos to make you smile.

Felt good to be back home. You stayed the whole 2 weeks at your sister’s house. You’re her only friend and it breaks your heart that you have to leave her alone again. Well, she has her husband, but he doesn’t really have conversations with her. You’ll make sure that when you go back to Seoul, you will call her more often.

You missed your favorite foods, your favorite places. The city feels different, yet, the smells here are the same. I should cook some of my traditional food for Hana and Jun. Taking walks alone in this city always felt awkward, but now it feels refreshing. It’s like you’re a tourist who’s discovering a new place, trying to let go of a love that broke you in pieces.

I made it so reader's wings are there but when they're not being used they disappear like weapons do when their not fighting. 🐍 That confidence of yours is also quite contagious; sometimes, you can catch him strutting around Bubu Pharmacy like some sort of runway model. It's quite the entertaining display, I assure you.

🐍 You're quite the charmer as well, it seems. You're always able to get Baizhu flustered out of his wits with that lazy smirk of yours. You make his knees turn to jelly and his stomach feel all gooey and warm inside.

🐍 He loves how clingy you are, even if he blue screens for a couple seconds after first contact. He's just not used to this kind of thing. Qiqi gives him hugs, of course, but your touch is just... different somehow.

🐍 You love kids, you say? That's great! Baizhu would just absolutely adore it if you get along with little Qiqi. He definitely leaves her to you when he needs to go out and about to run various errands or pick up things for the pharmacy.

🐍 Your bird-like traits intrigue him to no end. Are you an adeptus perhaps, like The Conquerer of Demons or Rex Lapis? Or maybe you're a yokai from Inazuma or something. He has no idea, you should definitely let him conduct a full-body examination.

🐍 As a person who needs glasses, Baizhu is kind of jealous of how great your eyesight is. Though, he has to admit that your eyes are helpful to him in a way; you've somehow been able to identify a new species of Violetgrass... somehow...

🐍 You've made this poor man have to go and buy a whole storage chest with all the little nick-nacks you bring him. Not that he minds of course, the more the merrier. Weirdly shaped rocks, small chunks of ore, loose buttons, jewelry, flowers, etc.; he'll happily accept it all.

🐍 He loves to put on upbeat music to see you bob your head to it, it makes him laugh every time. Sometimes he'll even see Qiqi do it with you and can't help but join in too, it's actually really fun in his opinion.

🐍 Baizhu never actually knew you had wings until they suddenly materialized out of thin air. He thought they were beautiful; similar to a bird of prey's wings, like the Brownwing Falcons of Wuwang Hill.

🐍 When you took him out to Mt. Tianheng and let him watch you fly around it's cliffs and peaks, he was absolutely enthralled. Just how fast could those beautiful wings even take you? To him, you looked like an angel.

🐍 And when you showed him how you incorporate your wings and your Geo vision? By golly, Baizhu was over the moon with wonder!

🐍 You almost looked like you were preforming one of Yun-Han Troupe's feather fan operas. You're wings encased in amber as you spun and dove; taking out those evil slimes that threatened to harm your Princess Baizhu. Oh! It was like a fairytale.

🐍 Though, out of all of your wings' features, he enjoys how you express yourself through them the most. Drooping when you're sad or disappointed, quick little flaps when you're excited or happy. And of course his most favorite is when they puff up when you're showing off. He thinks it's cute.

🐍 All in all, Baizhu is deeply in love with you and wouldn't trade you for anything in the world. You're the person he wishes to spend his remaining years with, however many he's got left.

it was a particularly bad year. i stumbled upon their silly videos (thank you stay for the edits<3) and they made me laugh. then i started seeing clips of chans room and him interacting with the boys and just like... he's so wonderful. he's generous and kind and loving and thoughtful. just a shy lil guy who also happens to be a flirt and a fucking dork and it's cute man idk shut upp

who is your bias wrecker?

i was certain i'd never have one, i truly adore each of those boys so so much.

i was however proven wrong after a very sweet, silly compilation of binnie being ridiculous. followed by a face cam of his sclass performance in the supreme jersey?? and the curls?? he has such amazing stage presence and he's a great dancer. but he kept going from his cute sweet binnie expressions looking like he was just so into it and having fun, to the "dark rapper" eyes and commanding stage presence. and like, wow. 🖤 i am a sucker for that kind of duality.

i was a kpop fan 2014-2017 and went all in. kcon and concerts the whole thing

but then i was just on my usual 6 hour yt shorts binge as i tried to fall asleep and saw skz reacting to the "your eyes" mv, specifically felix's part, obviously. i watched it like 12 times just cry laughing at han screaming, hyunjin trying to escape, channie hiding behind his hands and squealing. it was just so funny to see a group kind of clowning their own shit? i thought they were hilarious.

then i saw julien (solomita) had reacted to 'topline' and i was soooo into it. immediately went to watch some mvs and decided cool i'll be a totally normal casual fan of this group’s music….. :)

THEN a lovely lady i'd followed on my 10 year old tumblr account posted about skz. i messaged her that I’d finally decided to check them out and she was kind enough to answer questions and entertain my onslaught of messages as I screamed about how much I love these boys. and she still does everyday so. thank you hana 🌸

Probably didn't like Bennett AT ALL, most likely saw his bad luck as a nuisance to the rest of the group.

But then he saw Bennett just trying his best, fully-charged burst boosting him as he demolishes everything in his path (god i love his ult ily benny)

Bennett was scared of the wanderer as a whole at first: with his intimidating and somewhat quiet first impression, he gets even more scared when he laughs maniacally while turning a hilichurl camp to dust in a minute flat.

I think he probably admires his strength and Scara now becomes a semi-motivation for Benny to become stronger LOL

Wanderer wouldn't know that Zhongli's the former geo archon, so his long monologuing about Liyue culture are just the ramblings of a guy who has an ancient soul.

Every once in a while, Wanderer will listen in on Zhongli's stories of the adepti or about the land they currently stand on.

I think Scaramouche would like the stories of the different flora and fauna (no this isn't about fall in fall his teapot lines have him admiring the Sumeru forests ok).

Zhongli finds the strange Wanderer to be somewhat of an enigma. From letters that the dendro archon sent him, his mental stability was not the best before he started traveling around Teyvat.

At first, he was careful to make sure the others were safe and that the Wanderer's temper wouldn't go out of control.

But the more he travels with him, he sees the care in his eyes when he picked up Bennett when the boy accidently tripped and almost fell off a low cliff.

In a flash, the Wanderer has the back of Bennett's shirt in a tight grip with two circles hovering behind his head.

"He talks so much, but sometimes that nonsense can be somewhat entertaining. I've learned more about Liyue in the short time I've been near him than I have in my centuries long life."

"His words are quite frank, but I have no worries that he will harm anyone that I care about. Even if he is often harsh and without filter, I will make sure he doesn't hurt anybody."

As usual, Xiao is cautious to be around normal humans; his karmic debt isn't great for them to be around for long.

But then Bennett happened, which caused those plans to throw itself down the chasm.

Is this human... doing this on purpose? The amount of times that the anemo adeptus had to save the unlucky boy has probably exceeded the number of years Xiao has been alive.

On the other hand, Bennett has actively tried to avoid getting into any difficult situations. He's scared that the adeptus will show up out of nowhere and hear him sigh for the nth time.

In return, he tries to make him almond tofu, which somehow ends up wrong in so many different ways (the pudding part is too hard, it's a bit misshapen, but when Xiao takes a bite it tastes like the sweetest of dreams).

"He's just like any other foolish mortal, putting himself in danger to prove his worth. But, in his case, I don't believe he's doing it intentionally..."

"I thought Adeptus Xiao would also be somewhat scary like the Wanderer, but he's really nice! Only when I don't trip and fall into the water again..."

As the two supports of the team, they often sideline while the two anemo DPS go wild.

Bennett being the youngest of the team looks up to Zhongli, the oldest, and tries to listen to Zhongli as much as he can. He thinks it would help him in the future.

Of course, he learns a lot about the rich history of another nation, but Bennett finds himself becoming an overall better person to the people around him.

Zhongli also has a soft spot for the clumsy Mondstadtian boy. His optimism and bright outlook often has Zhongli smiling at the energy of the youth.

Rambles to him about rocks. Every single rock Bennett brings to him he could talk about for hours. Third-Round Knockout's storyteller has learned so much from these two eating meals there.

"Mr. Zhongli always has something and interesting to say! I've learned a lot from him and I want to be like him someday."

"As a child from Mondstadt, he's very free-spirited. Barbatos' people have no problem speaking their mind, which is very different from the mora-centered businesses of Liyue. I enjoy his company very much."

Poor Xiao still isn't used to acting like Zhongli is a stranger, occasionally slipping up every once in a while and calling him "my Lord."

It just feels so... odd to be addressing him as anything else. Of course, he means well, he's trying his best to accommodate for his now-human Lord

Zhongli is glad to see Xiao doing well, despite his karmic debt. While he feels upset that he can't do anything to help with Xiao's pain, he tries to remind him to take his medicine every once in a while.

On the battlefield, they work as harmoniously as melody and harmony. As Xiao takes care of all the enemies, Zhongli is right beside him to make sure nothing catches him off guard.

(Not that Xiao needs it, but he's just happy that Zhongli is there :D)

"Ah yes, Rex-the consultant. I often find him talking to the director and more recently that young Mondstadtian. I wish that I could talk to him a bit more loosely, and yet..."

They might seem to get along, but they're the most tense on the team.

While Wanderer is often taking center stage, Xiao isn't a selfless offensive member either.

When they aren't competing to see who kills more enemies, they get into the pettiest of arguments.

Wanderer still retains the part of himself that likes to tempt people to becoming angry, and while Xiao knows that he still often scowls and glares at the other anemo vision wielder.

One time, Zhongli wanted them to get a bit closer by having them eat a meal together. When he came back, he found the food cold with Xiao unleashing attack after attack on the hovering Wanderer.

When asked, Xiao refuses to answer what happened and the Wanderer is smiling awfully.

"I find it hilarious when that adeptus tries to look at me. What is it about other long-living beings and finding me so suspicious? Maybe later I'll steal his kill again to see how he snaps back."

i’m sorry but i can’t help but feel vindictive towards dandanies. other members of exo have been given literal crumbs throughout their active* years & don’t get any recognition. people don’t even remember junmyeon & minseok’s name half the time. we know chenbaeksoo are main vocalists, but it’s not 2012/2013 anymore.

the funniest thing about dandanies being so mad is that sehun literally had about 3 lines consisting of about 5 words in total in pretty much every title/most songs up until, like. the war, and nobody gave a fuck about it, least of all them. people to this day believe that junmyeon cannot sing, when he literally starred in 4 musicals and won awards and gained a lot acclaim for them, by the general public and fellow musical performers, which is a notoriously hard art form. dandanies are falling over themselves in fear because of kyungsoo having less lines than usual in one (1) song, which is a bside, i might add, and are scared and complaining that it could be like this for the whole album. you mean, how it was for every other member for all other albums? like, it’s absolutely insane.

i love kyungsoo, he is the reason why i even became an exol, he is one of my ults in the group, but people do not realize that just because kyungsoo has less lines in a song doesn’t mean that he suddenly won’t be a main vocal anymore, or that sm is punishing him. they want kyungsoo to leave the group so badly, because these crazy ass dandanies have an idea of kyungsoo, which he constantly fails to live up to because he simply isn’t the person they make him out to be, and it is impossible for him to meet their demands. they want him to leave exo so badly, something that’ll never happen unless the group disbands. we’re taking about the man who made love messages for each member last year, that were too long to be kept in the ladder broadcast and had to be cut out. that’s how much he loves them. kyungsoo loves exo, and dandanies hate exo and think kyungsoo is imprisoned by this group that is made up some of his best friends. it’s hysterical. they live in delusion.

Why do YOU think the MCU made an ults adaptation instead of a 616 adaptation? 👁️👁️

It was definitely primarily the "realism" of the ults. I think one of the worst thing about comic book movies is just that: they try to make things seem all Serious and Gritty and Dramatic. It's a bunch of guys in spandex for fucks sake!! Have some fun with it! Give iron man roller skates like in the comics!!

Also, not only did they take shit from the ults, but they DID NOT COMMIT TO IT. Guys. Seriously. Why is Captain America not screaming and yelling at everyone within spitting distance (an exaggeration but still).

I think you highlighted most of the reasons why the MCU did what they did tbh and I definitely agree w the whole islamaphobia backstory in IM1 and how the thing that changed Tony's mind was American soldiers dying (lmfao).

Other than that, I can think of one reason as to why they might have made this decision : they did not have enough time. As in, in the comics you can spend years upon years building upon characters but in the theatre you have like two hours to portray everything. Something as vast as 616 lore could not be sensibly shrunk into a three hour movie imo, as great as that would've been.

You knew Hyunjin would have to watch you as you died if he opted to. He’d have to watch you go through the pains of aging, the pains of losing your loved ones while he and his family of immortals had lived on, and not a care in the world because his family members met their soulmates.

Their soulmates were immortal.

Hyunjin was the unlucky one.

He fell for a mortal, someone who he always thought deserved a normal partner, someone who could grow old with you and neither of you would have to live with the fact that only one of you would continue to live.

He was unlucky by immortality standards, but with you, he felt like the luckiest man in the world.

If he could, he’d meet you over and over again and not change a thing.

He would go back in time and relinquish his immortality just to live out his days with you.

You weren’t someone he’d meet, fall in love with, and just forget.

Your memory would live on, as long as he continued.

Your voice was probably his favorite thing about you if he had to choose.

Like a broken record in his mind, for thousands of years, your voice was his favorite sound.

Yet he only had a short amount of time to experience it.

Another soft splash and you soon met the gaze of a very handsome boy, who was the former owner of the second coin tossed into the fountain.

Hyunjin wasn’t sure why he asked you that at first. He had completely skipped a proper greeting. A simple hello.

‘If I tell you, it won’t come true.’

‘Well, I wished to be immortal.’

He didn’t like where the conversation was going. He knew the pains of immortality. How every friend he had, mortal, had been long gone.

‘Guess your wish won’t come true now.’

And you laughed, thinking he was joking.

He laughed with you, thinking you were joking.

Even now, he thought you were joking about your wish. He wished you weren’t.

‘I’m Y/N.’

‘Hyunjin.’

— “So you met at a wishing fountain?”

— “Mhm. It was famous for the most wishes coming true.”

— “Do you wish they hadn’t told you their wish?”

— “…All the time. Is that selfish?”

— “But if that meant they had to watch their loved ones dying before them?”

— “What did this person look like?”

— “I have pictures but I can’t bring myself to look at any yet. Strange, isn’t it? It’s been eight thousand years and one day and I still haven’t looked at them… It still hurts but I’ll show you.”

Hyunjin took copious amounts of pictures of you and sometimes of the two of you.

Everywhere you went, he would take a candid photo of you. He had a collection of photos of you in your ‘worst’ state and a collection of you in your ‘best’.

Some depict you in front of a tree, a statue, a building, some off guard, somewhere you were completely aware he was taking a photo but didn’t react, and somewhere you were photogenic when he would pull out his camera.

He took a photo of your favorite things, things you were neutral about, and things you hated- Never in a way to spite you either, he just wanted to keep track of any details about you that might slip him later.

Hyunjin knew he would eventually lose you. Whether it be death or a breakup, he knew.

Still, he liked keeping tabs. He liked taking pictures. He liked- Loved, you.

You were special to him. The love of his everlasting life.

— “Wow, you really captured their liveliness in these pictures.”

— “I think this one has to be my favorite.”

You were smiling the brightest you had ever smiled for a picture Hyunjin decided to take.

It was a moment you were most happy and Hyunjin recalled the feeling of gratitude he felt to be able to experience that with you.

‘Hyunjin! Hyunjin! Hyunjin!’

— “I’m sorry…”

— “It’s okay to cry, you know. I won’t judge.”

— “Thank you…”

— “I can stop if you want me to.”

— “No. It’s okay. It’s nice to talk about it.”

— “So… What do you miss the most about them?”

— “Everything.”

— “But if you had to choose one.”

— “Do I have to?”

The truth was Hyunjin couldn’t pick anything, in particular, he missed about you because he just missed you.

Time didn’t change anything except the state of the world.

In Hyunjin’s mind, he was still stuck in the past eight thousand years ago took place.

During you.

His world had stopped long ago. The day after you.

He just missed you. Nothing more, nothing less.

And what he would give to have at least one more day with you.

— “Everything counts as one thing. It’s just a bunch of little things jumbled together into one… Big thing.”

There was this void in his heart from you.

It sucked in every returning feeling or memory of you and created a bigger hole as time went on.

Nothing would change how he felt for you.

— “How did you lose them?”

— “Death. The usual.”

— “Follow up: How did they die?”

— “It wasn’t old age or natural causes.”

There was not a single word anyone could say to you for you to have known what would’ve happened.

There was nothing Hyunjin could’ve done to have known either.

You were sick, you needed medicine.

Hyunjin was busy, and besides, you never told him he was sick. That was just a detail he found out after.

You made the choice to drive to the nearest pharmacy. You chose to not tell Hyunjin either.

To this day, he never once blamed you for what happened. No matter how many signs pointed to you or your decisions, you weren’t distracted.

You had a plan. Drive to the pharmacy, get medicine, and recover before you saw Hyunjin again.

You wouldn’t have known that at that exact moment, it would be you, the road, and a drunk driver.

Hyunjin was the first to arrive at the hospital. He filled out your information, identified you, and he saw you.

Hooked to various machines, intubated as your lungs had to have been ruptured in the crash. Every broken bone you had, every bruise the impact caused to your body, the blood.

The blood. More than Hyunjin had ever seen before in his time of immortality.

‘Well, I wished to be immortal.’

The bandage around your skull had bled through, giving the doctors a hard time trying to keep you alive.

The blood. It didn’t stop. It didn’t go away.

‘Guess your wish won’t come true now.’

Hyunjin remembered the slow breaking of his heart followed by the slow, painful numbing that followed as he watched various doctors trying to resuscitate you, the machines showing an unchanging flatline.

‘Hyunjin! Hyunjin! Hyunjin!’

He remembered not knowing what to do when the doctors called your time of death, unable to resuscitate you.

You lost a lot of blood, your lungs were ruptured- collapsed, your skull was fractured, your heart had given up entirely, the bleeding.

Too much blood.

— “Hyunjin, I’m so sorry.”

— “You, me, the doctors, the drunk driver, everyone who knows what happened. All of us are sorry, and it still doesn’t change anything.”

— “Will relinquishing your immortality change anything?”

— “No. But I will get to meet them again.”

Thousands of years later, after he had lost you, you were his only one.

He never met with anyone after you. If he did, it never went any further.

He saw you everywhere, in everything, and yet it was only glimpses and then you’d be gone completely and out of his grasp.

He saw you in your favorite things, and places, he saw your favorite color painting his world.

He saw you in the wishing fountain he met you at, and even if you weren’t actually there, he held your smile in his mind.

Heard your laughing.

‘It’s nice to meet you, Hyunjin. I hope your wish comes true.’

He stared at the fountain of coins sunken to the bottom.

— “I wished for mortality.”

Hyunjin couldn’t cry. He felt he had cried enough, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the table as he waited for his results to come back.

The person across from him, a nametag that read, ‘Felix‘, with a smiling face drawn beside it, was now preoccupied with the beeping from the printer as something had began to print.

Hyunjin was requesting his immortality be relinquished so he could live out his days as a mortal and eventually meet you again, whether you were waiting in the afterlife or already reincarnated and trying to find him again after eight thousand years apart.

The wait was excruciatingly long.

“Looks like the results are in,” Felix waited for the printer to finish printing the results page before he read it out loud, curing Hyunjin’s slight impatience.

“Your request to relinquish your immortality status has been…”

Hyunjin held his breath, waiting for Felix to finish. Another eternity passed between his words.

“Accepted.”

(this is in alphabetical order, not in the order of which i like them. a good portion of those groups are my old ults or disbanded groups. i've have a lot of ult groups throughout the years.)

my fav f1 drivers are cl16, ln4, op81, and mv1.

i have only been into formula 1 since dec '22. i'm still learning a lot about the sport and the drivers as well!

my fav f2 drivers are al12, jd14, dh1, and ob8.

i have only been into f2 for a few months, it's the same case as f1, i'm still learning a lot about formula racing and its drivers as a whole!

i also used to be in a heavy emo phase (i never actually left it) and so i do enjoy a lot of emo/rock/metal music!

i'm not into much anime anymore but i'll occasionally rewatch some of my favorites or i'll end up watching newer shows with my boyfriend. the animes that i've enjoyed watching in the past are soul eater, black butler, haikyuu!!, ouran high school host club, and free! my current favorites are cyberpunk: edgerunners and chainsaw man!

i also have a side hobby of gaming! i wouldn't necessarily call myself a gamer since i don't play that many games. you'll usually find me on minecraft, the sims 4, roblox, or destiny 2! i also occasionally will play fortnite with friends (i'm just not good at pvp games so i tend to not play them that much; UNLESS it's arsenal on roblox. i kick ass lowkey in that game.)

Have you heard the news about Till yet? Does it ruin the band for you anyhow? I've only found out about it 2 hours ago and I'm pretty stunned :/

Hey sorry for the delay in replying to this! Yes I've been following the various goings-on. I've stayed out of the discussion on it mostly because I really don't care that much - I'm way past the point in my life where I get so attached to bands that any news of 'gasp! Male rock star is shitty to women!' would have me sobbing on the floor. I mean, my favorite band was Korn for many years, enough said lmao.

Having taken in the various perspectives, news sources, and other insights from fans, it's looking very likely that Till did not actually engage in this behavior for the particular circumstance he is being accused of. I'd be surprised if he'd really go so far as to do all of that. There appear to be multiple witnesses that deny the accuser's claims. I don't inherently take sides on this stuff, I just try to judge whatever facts are available. Rammstein is a well-oiled machine with a huge crew that try to regulate their events and make it safe for everyone. That doesn't mean things can't happen, esp when Till has separate afterparties than the rest of the band, but they've been at this for almost 30 years with very few issues.

Is Till shitty to women? Often, and I'd call him a sex addict, and from what I understand in the past several years he hasn't been surrounded with great people outside the band (i.e. his solo stuff) and they've enabled or fed the worse parts of him. He has seemingly cultured an environment around himself - largely separate from the rest of the band, at least at present - where he can engage in his preferred activities. I don't agree morally with a lot of the things he does (hell, I can't stomach most of his solo project music videos), but that's nothing new, because while he may honestly be worse on this front than in the past, he's always been like this.

But in this particular circumstance, I'm inclined to say the media is spiraling this way out of control. I hate the entire culture surrounding rock band afterparties, older men seeking out young groupies, and Rammstein's 'Row 0' antics. I'd like an outcome of this whole thing to be that they stop doing that once and for all, given that the band is in their 50s and for Till, 60s. But even with whatever headspace Till has been in recently, he has a great love and respect for his fellow band members who are like family to him - and I need not expound upon just how monumentally stupid and detrimental it would be for the whole band for him to have done something illegal here. The last time he was arrested (along with Flake) was in 1998 for one of their stage acts - he's been clean otherwise (and that whole thing was idiotic anyway on the part of the MA police), and that is a testament to his carefulness and desire to not impact the band and the lives of the band members. He got pyro certified to design their stage acts and ensure the safety of everyone during their shows after an accident in 1996 - he's a man that shows commitment and perseverance, and he is very intelligent.

This entire thing has had a massive impact on the rest of the band, with some people relating it to the Mutter era where the band was having major disagreements and almost broke up - but there, they got through it stronger with a better understanding of each other and how to work together. I do feel Till is not in a great place mental health-wise, and needs to surround himself with better people re: his entourage and personal&professional friends outside of the band, and his antics in general sometimes cast a poor light on Rammstein. I hope this whole thing forces some re-examination by Till of his lifestyle, because he himself often doesn't seem very happy (without me reading any further into things I know nothing about). I think he's treated women poorly in these environments from a ~just being shitty~ point of view, undoubtedly. But ultimately, I don't think he committed the illegal activities he's been accused of in this instance.

I hate how much of this has become about taking sides, like hashtag 'I stand with Rammstein' or whatever. I don't stand with or against anyone - I think this sucks for the rest of the band being put through this no matter the outcome, I think it will have a lasting impact on the dynamics of the band and their interpersonal relationships, and I'm glad it sheds light on Row 0 and various shitty practices that Rammstein and many bands have engaged in.

Groupies will always exist, and so aging male rockstars will probably always do this sort of stuff - plenty of female fans welcome it, seeing as no one is forced to accept an invitation to an afterparty, and any Rammstein fan who finds themselves in Row 0 knows what it's about. In general, I hear overwhelmingly positive experiences about fans meeting Till and if he was consistently poor-mannered I doubt people would hold good opinions of him. The band's made it clear (via Scheider's recent statement) that any guest is welcome to leave these environments if they're uncomfortable and will be chaperoned by security. They have a huge crew of 100+ people making sure everything runs smoothly. There are changes that I think should be made to separate and/or regulate Till's private parties (or better yet, don't have them), and I personally will never understand going to these parties, but that's just me. Less than great experiences can and do happen at those parties, but that's a far cry from criminal acts. I think Till goes way overboard much of the time esp when left to his own devices, but being a lewd ass is again, not the same as forced coercion.

Personally, I honestly just think this is a shitty way to go out, seeing as the band is taking a hiatus after this tour and I get that nagging feeling we may not see them again for a long time, or ever, at least in terms of new albums or concerts (they do have a dvd coming out in a year or two). Rammstein has always tried to shock people with controversy, but not in ways like this. Various media outlets love to jump on this band, waiting for them to slip up on anything. Even if all charges are cleared, which it's shaping up that they will, much of the damage was done to Till's reputation, with multiple collaborations dropped/promos cancelled. I hope this gives him pause and a chance to re-examine where he's at in life, and that his fellow band members can help him find support where he needs it. Again, I don't defend Till, and I don't deny shitty things may happen at afterparties. But I'm weathered when it comes to rock scandals and I try hard to stay out of the personal lives of band members. So to me whatever happens happens and I just want some lessons to be learned for all involved.
