Hey guys! As my blog grows, it's getting harder and harder to keep up with my taglist. It also makes it more difficult to post my fics.

@melodygatesupdates is my update blog. I'll be posting fic updates ONLY on that blog so if you follow it and turn on notifications then you'll know when I post a new fic. (The ACTUAL fic will still be posted on this blog, I just mean that I'll be notifying folks on the update blog)

In addition to that, and frankly I don't care if this comes across as rude, I'm sick and tired of tagging some people who I KNOW follow me, and continue to not support me at all. I'm putting in the effort to notify you personally and by hand that I've posted something (that I created for fucking free btw), and the VERY least you can do is reblog my work.

I'm not talking about the people who maybe haven't read it yet. There are some of you who I KNOW will read it and I KNOW you'll reblog when you do, but there are some that I know will just leave a like and move on and it's like DUDE. You're on my blog and you know how I feel about reblogging and you still do that?

You want to read my stuff and not support me in the ONLY way that writers here are asking to be supported? Fine, but I'm not going to continue putting in the extra effort to notify you every single time I post something. Not going to apologize. The lack of engagement is getting exhausting. Cutting back on my effort with tagging because some of you clearly can't be bothered to do the bare minimum.

We barely know anything about Rhaegar, Elia and the relationship that existed between them pre and post Tourney at Harrenhal. I guess it makes sense that fans feel the need to make headcanons to fill the gaps but it's hilarious when they try to pass them as canon.

Why exactly is Rhaegar racist again? For someone who according to those fans dislikes Dorne and Dornish people that much, he could have chosen a different best friend that Arthur Dayne ; you know a Dornish man.

Suddenly Marco approaches Ace, puts his arm around his neck, and with the biggest asshole face in the New World says "I could take Akagami". Ace, poor naïve soul, puzzled asks "In a fight?". Because he loves Marco, he knows he's cool, but Shanks could absolutely kick his ass if he just wanted to. Marco, who absolutely enjoys traumatizing his brothers because he is a sadistic bastard, smiles. He just smiles. Ace breaks into a cold sweat. "In a fight, right?" he asks again, hoping he's wrong. Marco's smile only gets wider. Ace chokes on what he's eating and runs off screaming as Marco laughs so hard that everyone turns to stare at the two. Shanks, for some reason, feels shivers down his spine. Whitebeard sighs. No one knows what happened, and in the end everyone thinks it's for the best.
