Tbh I always really liked the concept, I would watch Thumbelina, The Borrowers, Arrietty and the Tinkerbell movies over and over and over. I would actively seek out if a cartoon had a shrinking episode (almost always did) and I thought I was really really weird for it 😭 I always thought i was the only person in the world who was Completely enamoured by giant / tiny dynamics

But then I discovered deviant art (😟) and would rustle through f/etish content until I found scraps of SFW stuff. And one day while doing this I saw a post tagged g/t , so I googled and discovered Oh my god Im not a creep Other People Like This in a normal way!! ! ! ! non-SFW side of the TF2 fandom has a MASSIVE problem with f..eti..shizing transmen specifically.  any non-SFW art portraying a transmen always involves the transman (especially when it’s Spy I’ve noticed) as being on the b../ttom and su..bm/ssive and cismen e..j/cul../ting into them with references to im..pr/g..n/tion

it’s transphobic, plain and simple.  it’s portraying transmen as a f..etish.  they NEVER portray transmen as being t..ops or do..m/nate or anything.  we’re nothing more than lil uwu s/bby boys to them and it’s FUCKING disgusting that we get NO other representation whatsoever

and the problem is when a transman expresses this, THEY are the ones who are shut down and called transphobic and “well we’re empowering transmen so YOU’RE the problem”, and that’s just wrong but no one cares it seems.  I only know this because I’ve literally seen this happen and it was what finally made me stop feeling safe in those spaces and stop participating

I know I’ll probably catch flack for this, and I really don’t care.  if you wanna be mad that I have a problem with blatant transphobia within a community, then be mad

There is a piece of f/etish art that I stumbled across in the main tag that portrays characters from the games doing a certain bodily function. No more details than that, just be wary and block the artist/tags if you want to avoid more potential pieces showing up in the feed.

I’m pretty curious and I have a few questions for you! Sorry if you already answered it and I missed it. At which frequency do you draw? Everyday? Do you do other types of art? If I am right you write too? What do you love the most about drawing? What effect does it have on you? Since when do you draw? Do you have a favorite place to draw? No, not every day at all. My itch to draw comes and goes, typically I'd say I draw once in two weeks.

I usually just draw, but sometimes writing is fun, too. I also enjoy pottery, have been wanting to pick it up again for ages, and the few times I went to f/etish parties with my friends before covid became a thing, I really enjoyed putting costumes together and doing our make-up to fit the respective theme.

What I love most about drawing is that it gives me an outlet for every possible difficult or pleasant inner state I might find myself in. It is seriously one of the greatest sources of self-care for me. I can express anything I want, just the way I want it! It's also like an island in my life where I feel confident and don't put pressure on myself at all. And the wonderful people I'm getting to know thanks to it!

I've been drawing since I was a little kid, but the fandom stuff has been going on for ten years.

Ahhh, my pc, my beloved <3 I hardly draw anywhere else. It's the coziest corner in the coziest room of the house and offers all the privacy I need.
