whatever little part of me inside my brain that comes up with melodies has absolutely no regard for meter nor major / minor scales and i think that's very sexy of me but oh my word is it a pain in the ass to try and actually write holy fuck
#and i don't even mean WRITE write- i mean just- getting it from my head to keys (or strings occasionally)#anyways#it's half past midnight and i've been fucking around on my little electric keyboard with headphones#for the past tHREE HOURS oh wow just realised that- i didn't realise it'd been so long slkdhgskdg#love and also hate my little keyboard <3#it's only got four octaves and it's tiny and i just don't like playing electric keyboards in general#and it has to plug in (not batteries) but the plug in has to be JUST SO else it'll cut in & out#which makes an absolutely horrible sound in the headphones btw#so i have it taped with painter's tape at JUST the right angle skdghsdg#and then the cord is also sort of secured to the railing on my bed (it's a loft bed)#and then from there it goes down and JUST makes it to the outlet#i guess music really is my true love considering i share the bed with my goddamn keyboard#but the alternative is to have to get up OUT of bed at 3 in the morning or whenever the fuck#and i mean. no. not doing that#so here we are#personal post#songwriting
