Looks like a day of foraging has paid off. A floral, citrus tea to sooth aching muscles, with a bit of sweet herba mystica to help an upset stomach.

Of course I can! I'm of two minds about earth ghouls. I mean how cool would it be if they were just from...earth. They're the strange things in the forest, the cryptids, the monsters. They're ancient, emerge when they're needed, take care of, and protect, the wild places Human's haven't yet sunk their teeth into. But also, an earth circle would be really fucking cool. SO! Circle ramblings under the cut, just to save space.

I think the earth ghoul circle is, well, a lot like Earth. Solid ground to stand on. Dirt. Trees. Plants. Water. Life (ish). I think, it's one of the only circles that has real seasons. I think most of them keep the same basic climate year round but this circle doesn't. It has a full four seasons (and all the mini ones in between). Earth ghouls have the easiest time adjusting to the climate topside

because they already live in something simliar. I do, however, think the plants are...well...different. Sentient, in some cases, just a little...strange in others (like the difference between Ents, and the trees in Fangorn that just...sort of....move). Earth ghouls are deeply connected to these plants. They understand them--even the ones that can't speak audibly. Earth ghouls are tenders of life. Gardner's of this strange mirror of earth that they call home. It's a pretty, sprawling, circle. With every sort of terrain you can think of. Mountains, and deserts, and lakes, and plains. Earth ghouls are solitary most of the time, and terrotorial. Staking claim to vast reigions of land and defending them with tooth and claw. They mostly steer clear of each other though. There aren't that many of them really, and there's plenty of space. This solitary nature means there isn't much of a hierarchy on the earth level. There is no goverment, no law, no meetings. This is nature, wild and raw and unbidden and so, when someone needs something from an earth ghoul. Someone else (a multi-ghoul or a low-level demon) has to brave the untamable wilds of the earth circle. Dodging vines that reach for their ankles. Avoiding perfect looking peaches hanging ripe in trees--temptation in its highest form, and seek out the ghoul who's needed. There are myths, spread among ghouls and demons who can cross the circles, that you can't eat anything out of the earth circle or you'll never be allowed to leave. That you will become one with the circle, a servant to it and whatever earth ghoul cultivates the fruit you bit into. But mostly, that's just lies to keep outsiders away. Despite the inherent dangers, and the occasional rock shattering battles over territory. The earth circle is probably the most hospitable, which is saying something about the other circles.
