My respect does go all the people who feel like they're going backwards. To those who think they've spent years doing things wrong. To those who think they're not progressing and don't know how to start to. To those who think they're alone. To those who think they are the worst in their class. To those who had to stop learning for whatever reason. To those who wish they did because they're not good enough.

This trip was worth it just because Sky and her two cousins all played SO well together. Her cousins have been so effing sweet to her, I cannot handle it.

Ugh this sounds bad but Kevin's cousins are way better parents than his sisters are... Kevin's sisters seem like they truly don't get the appeal of motherhood, but their mother pressures everyone to have a big family like her so... that's what they have done. But everyone knows they hate hanging out with their kids. Even the cousins here have mentioned that. My MIL lives to be a servant to her children. Her kids/grandkids are her reason for being. She has always made it seem like motherhood is not very difficult, and it's the best thing you could do, and everyone should do it. Plus - three kids is like the minimum amount of kids she sees as acceptable.

Kevin's cousins are both girls, their mother is my MIL's little sister. These sisters are the complete opposite, lmao. My MIL's sister will not move one finger for anyone if she doesn't want to. Her kids are more helpful to her than she is to them. She had two daughters and she made it clear that motherhood is hard. What's funny is that HER daughters are great, engaged moms. My SIL's are like... "ugh, my kids" and they both have full time help. It's just insane, the difference in parenting that I think expectations have created.

I wish I could trade his cousins for his sisters :(

Bout Rodan, yes he was adopted by Dagon, Godzilla's dad. Unfortunately he died when Rodan was about three and Godzilla fourteen. So it was Godzilla who raised him with the help of Anguirus. To this day they sometimes still act like his parents.

And about Ghidorah, they don't get along much. Him and Ni quarrels and annoys each other a lot and Ghidorah as a whole thinks he's too rowdy and irresponsable. Although they can at times be friends.

Rodan thinks they aren't good enough for his amazing older brother. He doesn't vibe with their mean and a bit stuck-up attitude.

So about the productivity challenge, I'm going to start it day after tomorrow (19th September 2023) so that I'd do it along with my akka @voidsteffy and anyone else who would be interested.

Anyways, I'm home for the weekend. I got here yesterday evening.

I watched almost too many movies today but I tried to work a bit too.

I wrote some bio notes. I've got 2.5 chapters of bio notes to go now. I also watched a bit of "The Office" with my brother. It's one of his fav shows and I've been finding many sweet/funny reels about it and i couldn't help but want to watch it.

this whole revival of tlou / the tlou fandom has been so visceral for me. i love it and i love how silly it is. my fyp is flooded with ellie williams edits, and i'm seeing her from angles that i Don't Remember initially seeing her from, and realizing Why i went absolutely ballistic when that e3 trailer came out in 2016. i'm seeing clips of bits of dialogue and details from the first game that i literally don't remember happening, and then i'm curled up in a ball, contemplating rewatching a playthrough of the entire first game again. i'm seeing elliedina edits to these sad ass songs and ellie joel edits to sad ass songs, and ellie riley edits, and just there's So many Edits. not to mention the fact that the show is just Good and seeing people who have actually made that a possibility (pedro and bella and nico and gabriel) in these cute ass photos is making my Stomach hurt. the last of us got renewed for a second season. i got really excited because that meant that we could learn more and see more like i'm excited to learn more about cat and more about ellie's adolescence in jackson, i have literally never trusted neil or the writers more with this story. it's so exciting to watch it all unfold. and it's all so silly because it's supermundane and useless but i love it and i kind of forgot how much the last of us really does mean to me and i know it is super silly, but i truly do adore this franchise with everything in me and it is so. like. it's Such a pleasure to be able to watch it be Watered like this again, and watch so many different people indulge in it and get hype about it and just ! oh my god wow i really do ,, i really.
