#it's shitty
@marrynathanprescott2022 this is for u
Was gnna wait till atleast 3 people asked me but what the hell im gnna do it anyway HAHAHAHHAHA
So part 2 of that bullshit writing i just did
The campus halls are bustling with the downpour of students, all unsurprisingly interacting because of the program. Lucerys sits at the very corner of a small little bench at the far side of the hall, his overly complicated business calculus homework is sitting on his lap as he grips his pen a little too hard. He's frustrated, he's tired, and all these people had all but aggravated his increasing anger. He fumes silently, in all honesty he woud've chosen staying in class and doing his pending works over this stupid program, but since the dean had insisted on it while saying " I want the classrooms to be as empty as possible, go and interact ", even going as far as saying that everyone who participates gets extra curricular points. It's too much bullshit that he can't help but grumble even harder, as if to mock him his gaze flickers back to the blank answer sheet. Having had enough of the crowd and his shitty papers he proceeded to stand up while having abruptly bumped his face on what seemed like solid rock. He turned to snap at this stranger for having to stand closely infront of him when he's suddenly met with a predatory lilac eye.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aemond was bored, this little interaction program had done nothing for him. Several people have already tried to talk to him, all of them as exhausting or stupid as the last. Finally after having made some flimsy excuse to leave the "popular circle" he stalks off to go around the campus. He denies the reason being that he wants to see his nephew, honestly he just wants to walk.
After a few minutes of stalking the halls he finally sees that unruly mop of brown curls that Lucerys excuses as hair. He strides closer to the boy, he stands directly infront of him. He's amused, he's not sure if Lucerys is simply ignoring him or if he's that lost in his little homework. He stood there nearing almost a whole minute before Lucerys suddenly stood up and bumped his head on Aemond's chest.
" Surely you're gonna apologize to me right nephew? " he spoke with a menacing smirk.
Lucerys is yet again flabbergasted, not because of fear no, this bastards audacity was the sole cause of it.
" Apologize uncle? You're the one standing too close. " he grumbled.
" I suppose apologizing had never never been your strong suit. " Aemond's grin never diminishes.
Two fucking jabs already and it hasn't even been a minute of them talking to eachother. Red faced with anger, Lucerys turns to leave, honestly he doesnt have a reply to that. He's tired and he doesnt want to take shit from the uncle who's eye he stole and haven't seen in almost 5 years. He stalks off ignoring Aemond's growing amusement and completely forgetting his business calculus assignment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aemond is amused, the fieriness of his little bastard assailant never diminished. He chuckles silently as he turns to leave when a pristine white paper caught his eye, the name Velaryon was messily scribbled on the top left corner of the paper, the numbers and word problems seemed easy enough for him. He lauhs slightly as he realizes that the paper is completely devoid of any attempts at an answer. He then wonders briefly if he should give chase to his little nephew to presumably give back the paper, he decided against it. If the bastard is forgetful and clumsy it's not on him to help. His grip on the paper tightens, he supposes he could keep it though, as a sign of kindness if Lucerys were to come look for it; for him.
Theres definitely gonna be a part 3 im not gnna leav u guys hanging. Anywys, don't be shy to give me prompts to work with. I need new ideas 😔😔

Hello! I just recently joined the Star Wars fandom and I adore your writing and cannot thank you enough for creating and sharing such lovely worlds with us! As someone who just recently watched the prequels, I wanted to ask your opinion on something. The clones were essentially slaves, created to serve as disposable soldiers, with no autonomy, and, to make it worse than that, were CHILD soldiers with shortened life spans. How did the Jedi and the Republic justify feeding them through the meat grinder of war? I feel like there isn’t much discussion on the ethical implications of this in canon (unless I’m missing it!). For the Jedi and Republic to use child slaves as canon fodder really makes me question how just their claim of moral superiority was. Just wanted to hear your thoughts!
This is a difficult question, and I have a few thoughts!
The issue of the moral value of the use of clones is considered at length several times in the Clone Wars tv show, if you have only seen the prequels, I think you will enjoy and get value from the tv show. I think that there simply isn’t time inside the three prequel movies that are dedicated to telling the story of how Anakin fell to simultaneously focus on the plight of the clones at the same time. You can see that Obi-Wan is disturbed by them when he arrives and we are shown that the Council did not know about them or order them. The issue is perhaps with their use, how instead of refusing on principle to use the troopers (who the Republic military would use with or without the Jedi’s permission), Yoda brought them to save the lives of the handful of Jedi out of the hundreds that went to save Obi-Wan on Geonosis. If he hadn’t, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padmé, Mace Windu, etc. would all be dead, and the story would be over. In a choice between using troopers grown for war, betraying your ideals about an ethical military, or losing your friends and family, betraying your ideals of saving and protecting the galaxy at large, what would you do?
The Republic is run by the Sith and has been for decades. Every time you see the word “Republic” replace it with “Proto-Empire” and it becomes easier to understand why they would have an army of clones. The Republic and the Senate as a governmental structure has no moral authority whatsoever. It was corrupted long before the war by the presence of non-state actors like the commerce guilds and the trade federation seizing the machine of government and using it to enrich themselves. Senators like Padmé and Bail are exceptions to the rule, and their courage is in short supply. The majority of the senate was presented with an easy answer to a difficult question (“how do we stop a flood of murderous machines led by a rival government from sweeping from planet to planet, killing civilians and conquering their governments?”). The clones are the easy answer because they require nobody to make sacrifices.
George Lucas is making a commentary about how expendable we (usamericans at least) consider our soldiers to be, how dehumanized they are, how we are content letting them die and suffer while we laugh and shop and keep living a normal life. Many soldiers at least in the US are barely 18, coerced by financial incentives into joining the military, and without those incentives would never choose to put themselves in a situation where they need to participate in the war machine. Grinding poverty and lack of opportunity funnels many young people into the military in real life, so they are not as free in their choice as it might seem.
If you watch the very first episode of the Clone Wars tv show with Yoda and the clones, it is very clear that he treats them unique individual people, worthy of dignity and respect, and tries to save their lives, valuing them higher than they did themselves. The clones would be under their command, or under the command of people who cared much less about their value. Jedi like Krell who use the clones as canon fodder are the exception that prove the rule, the Jedi are there to save as many lives as they can while fulfilling the objectives given to them by the Senate and the Chancellor. They are morally compromised by being a part of the war, but the alternative is to walk away and refuse to use their skills and effort to protect people. That’s not a choice they are willing to make.
It’s really important to remember the genre of the films, and to listen to what they show and tell about who is moral within the framework of the story. In his space adventure storytelling movies, Lucas has said explicitly that the Jedi are the moral authority for the galaxy, they are the good guys. He is showing How the Jedi fell, despite consistently trying their best to protect people and sacrifice themselves in service of civilization. It's just important to note that How they fell is not an explanation of Why their fall was morally justified and valid. The fact that they have been trapped into a no-win scenario by their adversaries that forces them to make a choice between two non-optimal choices, is not their fault. In order for the story of Anakin’s fall to happen, narratively there has to be a war. They are doomed to fight that war and die, all of them, by the opening of A New Hope. If you think of them as being morally compromised by fighting alongside the clones, then you can feel grief at the consequences of being morally compromised despite their commitment to the good. It’s just important to not say that this choice to fight made them “deserve” being exterminated like many do on here.

when i was in high school i came out in my last year to my whole english class in a speech assignment and i only received support and kind comments. if there was anyone that had a problem, they kept it completely to themselves. i never faced any problems as a result of it.
my best friend during high school was raised in a very traditional christian family, home-schooled up until high school, with basically no access to technology because their family didn’t agree with it (no tv, no phones, no computers, only a radio). they were in my class. they sort of told me ‘good speech’ but it was clear they were thinking quite hard over something. i left them be and didn’t push for anything, i’d already accepted i didn’t know what their reaction would be and i was prepared to give them space.
they were a little distanced for a couple of days - like their mind was elsewhere and i didn’t say anything. after that, they went back to normal and everything was fine. it seemed like a silent acceptance and i didn’t push for more. a few months later, at the end of the year, they gave me a card thanking me for being their friend during high school and they specifically said that they thought what i did in my english speech months ago was brave and they supported me no matter what. i cried a bit. clearly they’d looked at the beliefs they’d been surrounded by their whole life with very little other input and then looked at me and decided that what they’d been taught was either wrong, or just didn’t matter, because i was their friend and there was nothing wrong with me.
that’s why i find this shit coming out of that kentucky middle school to be so horrifying. that could’ve been what made the difference in my friends thoughts. if they’d directly been taught something like that. and that’s devastating because i love my friend a lot and it’d seriously hurt to lose them because of something like that. i’d like to think they’d push through anyway but fuck, that only makes it harder.
for anyone who doesn’t know there’s an article here: https://thehill.com/changing-america/respect/equality/3490353-kentucky-middle-school-students-asked-to-write-letters-to-imaginary-friend-struggling-with-homosexuality/
it’s disgusting. let kids reach their own opinions.

Okay so like, here's the symbol, I picked a skull and bones to make them to like represent Akuma since he's technically apart of me. And it also like represents the shit that I've been through, cause I've been close to no man's land if you catch what I'm saying
Tumblr media
Then this is what I want in said symbol
Tumblr media
A combination of Aomine Daiki's jersey and Vegeta's battle armor. I did it like that cause Aomine and Daiki are some of the highest characters I kin and the anime Aomine is from is what kind of like kick-started my love for basketball.
Going to bottom left is Mei's goggles and they represent my love for making things such as youtube videos, twitch streams and everything like that
Top right is a paper bomb from Naruto and that signals my highest kin, Shikamaru. I've been told that I'm really fucking smart but I'm lazy like him
Rem's weapon from Re:Zero is what you see in the very back. I couldn't find any pictures of the weapon alone so I had to improvise 🧍 but Rem is really just one of my favorites characters and Re:Zero as a whole is kind of like what started One's Rebirth since it was the first isekai anime I watched and it got me thinking. And I wanted the weapon to like kind of go around everything if that makes sense

Me, the writer with the cocktail of ASD/ADHD who has only two complete fanfictions out of the literal hundreds of WIPs, original or otherwise: Hell yeah, represent for smashing 60k in two weeks!
Seriously, you write and write and it’s cool as hell. A bunch of people liked my writing and sti do, but it was stifled for a long time. I’m not at where I’m used to be, but I’m getting there.
Aw, the beauty of neurodivergence and English. For every completed work, there are at least 5 uncompleted.
For me, personally, in pumping out Fanfic, I'm personally working to overcome that. And help prep me for other forms of publishing. And generally keep a daily writing schedule.
As for stifling, I very much understand.
I tend to have very low mood dips when I'm not working on something or when something isn't up to standard. It's incredibly hard. Especially since people don't get it. And I can't fucking explain it. And it's a very hard space to break out of.
I don't have tips cause in my experience. You kinda just have to do your best and push on. Take a break. But keep trying. I do wish you the best of luck though! I hope you get where ever you want to be!

i know nothing about youtuber whatsoever. every time someone talks about a popular youtuber it feels like theyre conjuring a dude from thin air. hearing about youtuber drama is like seeing everyone spontaneously pull a guy out of their hat and start beating him to death with hammers

I think we need to get more comfortable with the idea that sometimes shitty, racist, homophobic, bigoted people are still incredibly talented.
I feel like every time I see a post addressing someone’s shitty behavior the post also takes the time to mention that they’re not even good at [x] anyway. And that’s just not always true? Equating being good at a skill as being morally good is just not necessary. Someone can be a fantastic writer, can have a beautiful singing voice, can create breathtaking artwork, and still be a horrible person.
I know part of this is probably just the instinct to dislike everything about a person when you dislike them, but I also think this mindset leads to people defending creatives way past where they should, because if bad people create bad art, then if this person creates art that I like and resonates with me, then they can’t be a bad person!
And you know. That’s just not true. Those two things are simply completely unconnected and I think it’d be healthier if we all started disconnecting them in our heads.
