Arthur, Napoleon, Leonardo, and Comte With an S/o Who Kicks Ass In a Cat Fight
Requested by: @hitsuhina4ever
I am so sorry, I couldn’t think of anything for Theo! My bad!!
Arthur: Now, women fight much differently in the twenty first century than they did in older generations. So, no wonder Arthur was caught off guard when he witnessed the absolute monster that you are when one of his ex-flings starts shit with you.  “He’s mine, you whore! Mine!” The girl shouted, drawing attention to you and your boyfriend who were standing across from a hysterical, jealous woman in a bright dress. Arthur was about to step in, but was left with no time to as you pulled him into a deep kiss with your hand entangled into his hair and his arms around your waist, all while you stared the woman down. After a few seconds, you pulled apart, with a string of saliva still connecting your lips.  “If he were yours, sweetie, I wouldn’t be able to do that, now would I?” You spoke confidently, placing a hand on your tilted hip and smirking in such a way that would put Theo to shame. The woman let out a shriek and rushed forward, raising a hand to slap you. Her hand was easily dodged, however, and it was no more difficult to deliver a swift punch to her jaw, that was much stronger than expected, and sent her sprawling onto the pavement, dizzy, and almost unconscious. Vic barked happily, but his master was left speechless, watching you wring out your wrist and dust off your skirt. It wasn’t until you walked up to him, intertwined your fingers with his, and asked if he was ready to go, that he started freaking out, marveling at your skill, but then telling you that you could’ve gotten hurt. You better believe that he is taking you right home to check you over and make sure that you aren’t hurt, despite the fact that your opponent didn’t lay even a single hit on you.
Napoleon: Napoleon wasn’t even there when the fight began. You had gone out to buy groceries when a lady decided to start talking shit, and if being from the age of the internet has taught you anything, it’s how to yeet a bitch into oblivion. Napoleon had also been out, teaching his fencing classes when he heard shrieking and yelling. He told his students to stay put before he went out to investigate. Needless to say he was surprised to see you side stepping a punch, only to grab to woman you were fighting’s upper arm with one hand, and lower forearm with the other, only to proceed to literally throw her over your shoulder, face first into the ground. It wasn’t until you placed your heel atop her skull and yelled,  “Talk shit again, hoe! I fuckin’ dare you!” That the emperor decided to step in. He gently placed a hand on your upper arm and pulled you off of the woman. “Come on, Nunuche. Let’s go, you can tell me what happened later. He’ll take you back to his fencing class, and afterwards will help you finish grocery shopping before taking you home. He’s wasn’t that surprised that you’re strong, he’s seen that fire in your eyes, he knew you could kick ass.
Leonardo:  Leonardo hates the idea of you getting hurt, so he has always tried to diffuse any situations where you might end up in a fight. Luckily for you, though, your dear boyfriend wasn’t around to get in the way of your fight this time. It wasn’t even your fault! That woman should have known better to talk shit when you were in a pissy mood. All that, “Leonardo deserves so much better than you!” Shit. She really should have seen that punch coming. Even though she didn’t expect your fist colliding with her stomach, she was more than ready to come springing back, claws out, all for a good cat fight. A second punch to the boob, and a kick to he gut, followed by a leg sweep was enough to get her to walk (read: hobble) off. It was only when you turned around, about to walk off, that you saw Leonardo in the crowd, approaching you. He was surprised, he knew you were strong, but he didn’t realize the true extent of your strength. His surprise was overtaken by his worry when he saw the slight bit of blood dripping down your cheek from your opponent’s nails. He quickened his leisurely pace to a near-sprint, only to lightly trace your cut with his fingertip, picking up a bit of the blood onto his index finger. Though his thirst was screaming at him, he still refused to drink your blood, and instead opted for picking you up in his arms, bridal style, quietly whispering, “Cara mia...” and walking you home to the mansion.
Comte: You had been forced to watch woman after woman flirt with your boyfriend. Sure, the ceiling was a glimmering gold, making it seem as though you were standing right below the sun, and the food and drink were not only refreshing and nourishing, but also delicious, but none of that made any difference when your skin was practically turning green with envy. The current woman was much bolder than the previous ones, and had the audacity to place her hand on your man’s chest. That was when you passed your drink over to Leonardo, who had attended the ball with you and Comte, and now was standing next to you at the food table, making up stories about each woman daring or stupid enough to attempt to sway a taken man into adultery. And in his defense, his company had helped you cope with watching Comte and his flock of female fans for some time, but this one had gone too far, and it was time for you to step in. You eased the scowl from your face, and in its place put that signature fake smile that most people from the twenty-first century can do as easily as breathing, and waltzed forward, towards your lover. When you reached him, you gracefully grabbed hold of his elbow and upper arm while pressing your chest into him, and greeting his ‘fan’ with,  “Oh, hello! I see you’ve met my boyfriend. Isn’t he just so sweet?” The woman scowled, before replacing it with a snake-y smile to match your own, and then excused herself. With your man looking only at you now, you pulled him down for a deep kiss before pulling away and excusing yourself to the bathroom with the excuse of, “Leonardo gave me way  too much wine while we were forced to watch you with those hoes. I’ll be right back.” You went and did your business in peace, but was greeted with an unsightly face upon your exit. A few exchanged words with one another, and a jealous spat had turned into a cat fight. She couldn’t compare to you, and was getting her arse handed to her. She went for one final punch, hoping to land at least one, when your lover appeared in front of you, catching her hand before it could hit you. You were having none of that, though, you didn’t need to be saved. So, you ducked under his arm and delivered a swift upper cut to her jaw, sending he to the floor. That’s when Comte decided that this was the time to leave, and went with you to round up Leonardo, only to find him asleep in a spare room. The two of you knew better than to wake him, and figured he’d get home just fine on his own. When you were in the carriage however, he confronted you. He cradled your face in his large, warm hands, and softly said,  “You know you have nothing to be jealous of, ma cherie, you are the only one in my heart.” To which you leaned your head into his hands, closed your eyes, and sighed.

Illusion - analyse images creative manipulated
25 January 2021
1. Brooke Shaden
Tumblr media
Brooke Shaden is American modern self - portrait artist who explores the darkness and the light in the human beings. She creates dream like images inspired by childhood of intense imagination and fear. She follows her curiosity into the unknown to confront with the darkness and control the fear. She finished studies with B.A. in Film in 2008 on Temple University and in that time she discovered a passion to photography and storytelling and quickly became successful in photo competitions. Brooke is well known photographer and high skilled in Photoshop creator with amazing portfolio. She had many group and solo exhibitions and numerous publications of her works in the magazines.
All her images are linked together by the foggy background setting in the field. It's a kind of visual theme that creates the images and what's beyond the image is the theme human vs nature and how they interact together and the tension in between them.
The image I want to look a little bit closer is one of her images that come from the Levitation series. The girl wears blue dress and levitate in a middle of nowhere, foggy field at the dusk or predawn. The girl is in the centre of the frame and I can notice a kind of triangles and diagonal in this image composition in position of her body and arrangement of her dress. The overall mood is quite dark and colour tones in dirty beige and grey in the foggy background doesn’t create visual contrast with the colour of her dress which is kind of navy-grey rather than blue, I would say. Those colour tones are mixed warm and cool tones as a juxtaposition of two opposites. It can indicate serenity or tranquility. Earth, nature as something strong and stable. And the human that maybe is looking for the balance and inner peace.
To create this surreal image Brook has combined multiple photos. At first, she made a photo of the model, lying on the chair in her studio in the front of clean black background. She took the background and floor shot without the chair and the model. Then combined taken images as layers in the Photoshop, removed chair and other unwanted objects, to make the model looks like she levitates. Next step was change the background and colour modification, increase highlights, shadows enhancement to add more dramatic expression. Thanks to Brook, she makes behind the scene videos and photos, so we could see how she creates such an amazing images and learn a lot from her.

2. Sarolta Ban
Tumblr media
Sarolta Ban was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1982 and she was jewellery designer before she discovered digital photo manipulation and that’s became her passion and activity. By combining ordinary elements, she gives them personalities and creates meaningful stories.
She had a great idea to photograph shelter dogs to help them find new homes in her ‘Help Dogs Project’. Using photoshop, she created amazing images, combined a dog portraits, beautiful landscapes and eye catching objects that create surreal atmosphere.
Patti, that’s the name of a dog in this image. Patti is a cross breed puppy with long waggly tail and black coat with biscuit beige markings on face, chest and all paws. She lies on the dry like a desert ground in the centre of the frame and keeps the moon like a ball in the front of her lying on or in between the paws. The moon shines and creates atmospherical glow around Patti and leaves the full of stars but dark sky in the background well behind. It makes me feel like the dog has a super power and cheerful personality and invites me to play. Patti will offer love to the moon and back in return for care, warm corner in the house and human attention.
I suppose that Sarolta used at least 4 different photos to make this image, portrait of a dog, the moon, desert and the sky at night. She removed dog tag and added glow to the moon and areas around the moon and the dog, and used the dodge tool to lighten some areas on the dog’s face. I think she has used vignette to darken corners and to draw viewer’s attention to the centre of the image. This dog looks like is out of this world, magically. Who wouldn’t offer a home to the super dog like Patti?

3. Staudinger+Franke
Tumblr media
Staudinger+Franke awards winning commercial photography studio, specialise in motion, CGI (computer generated imagery), retouching, animation - lifestyle, conceptual, portraits, still life and landscapes. Staudinger+Franke is creative crew existing of different kinds of artists to realize visual ideas. Everything is going under supervision of 25 year experienced Vienna photographer Andreas Franke.
They create very impressive images in Photoshop. Their portfolio is impressive. All images are very dynamic in colours and clear in the message.
I picked one image that looks simple, but is so powerful. The background colour and the overall tones in pool green are very calming and relaxing. In the centre of the image is a glass of pure water where the dolphin lives like in the purest ocean under the sunny blue sky with very little clouds so we could find a bit of shadow of a palm tree lying on the beach in paradise island. And the composition of a hint of fresh herb, probably mint next to the glass completes this image as a whole. It makes me feel so calm and relaxed when I look at this image and I want to be there, feel the refreshing cool ocean breeze when I got too warm by the sun. I would love to see the place like in this paradise island in a glass of water in a real world, so pure, without pollution, far away from urban agglomeration.
I think that photo of the glass of water was the key to create this image. There is no any incident light reflection in the glass. Very soft almost imperceptible shadows. I think the shot was taken at small studio set up on the white background, perfectly lighten with soft light. Then, the rest was done in Photoshop, maybe that plant was shot in the studio as well as the glass of water, but dolphin, island, sun and sky were combined as layers blended together in post production.
This image was done for General Electrics, a company that is characterized by a culture of integrity, compliance, safety, and respect for human rights, while reducing our environmental footprint by investing in carbon free, renewable energy that will help the environment.
Tumblr media
The other image from Staudinger+Franke is minimal and totally uncanny. The kids slider on a sandy playground in combination with a grater. Both of these things contradict each other. One thing brings to mind a place full of carefree fun and enjoyment. The second is reminiscent of discomfort, pain, and unpleasant fear. Both things are perfectly merged together. The composition is based on a point of view and directs my gaze from the top of the slide towards the bottom of the slide at an angle towards one-third of the frame on the right. It looks as the light is falling from above towards the slider. The colour of slider and grater is the same shade of grey with metallic highlights on sides of the slider where the grater eyelets are being reflected. This creates the impression of a dimensional space.
4. Erik Johansson
Tumblr media
Erik Johansson was born in 1985 in Götene, Sweden. He is the master of photo manipulation. In 2005, he moved to Gothenburg for college where he studied Computer engineering at Chalmers University of Technology and got a Master degree in Interaction Design. He was nature lover from the early age and fascinated in computing games, that inspired him to create images later on when we discovered manipulation of reality in Photoshop. He got inspiration from all things around, music and other artists like Dali, Magritte, Yearka and Gonsalves.
Currently he is a visual artist based in Prague, Czech Republic and creates surreal photographs personal and commission projects with exhibitions and clients from many countries in the world. He combines different images to make them look as much real as possible, finding a way to illustrate the impossible, to capture the idea. And he says that we are only limited by our own imagination.
The Comfort Zone image illustrates a girl sitting in a greenhouse on the backyard like in a small cage. The light that comes from the greenhouse creates lovely golden glow around it like in the sunset and lit the nearest greenery. The sky in the background is at the same time ominous and beautiful, where the blue of the sky breaks with the warm colour of the clouds of the setting sun. It makes me feel that the girl in the greenhouse is comfortable in her small space, like in a kind of shelter, but also it may be a kind of a trap, where she can’t be free. And I think that was the idea behind this image, to illustrate the ambiguous of situation.
This image required a lot work to be done and Erik is very experienced photo editor and retoucher. This image is refined in every detail. He had everything well planned, sketched and designed to create the image. The greenhouse was built exactly as designed. At first I thought that the girl was photographed in different place and the image was combined in the Photoshop to put her inside the greenhouse, as it looks quite impossible for her to get in. To my amazement, girl was really in and Erik’s team attached top part of the greenhouse and he could capture a lot of images at the scene in different exposures. He combined plenty of images and layers in the program and used many editing tools like healing brush or patch tool to apply a similar texture in the areas that required to be covered and removed some objects and drew others. He enhanced shadows and highlight areas and create new shadows to make the image look more real, dimensional, not flat.

5. Christine Ellger
Tumblr media
When I look at this image I can feel the positive energy that comes through it.
The girl who popped out the book looks like she has some superpower and she flies straight to heaven and appears extremely light. As if she broke away from reality and swung carelessly in the clouds together with birds.
I couldn't find enough information about this Christine on the google search, so I decided to ask at the source by sending a message via messenger.

I’m more than thankful for such an exhaustive answer 😊
Christine is true inspiration and an extremely talented person whom, as she wrote to me later, photography is a vocation. I really recommend to have a look at links below and meet fantastic body of work!

6. Paul Fuentes
Paul and Ilse Fuentes are commercial Spanish photographers who works together as Fuentes Design and their mission is to remind people how fascinating the world is by create images of food, animals, and objects in a minimalistic mash-ups with pastel backgrounds and everyday objects that they merges into a surrealistic, humorous whole. We can see the world through a colourful lens. They take many travel photographs and creates a surreal and unexplored places by combing them with other things in photoshop. They combine two artistic movements and transform them into pastel-colored compositions. French surrealism and the culture of Pop Art form elementary the lively proposal of the young artists and define what they themselves call "The new pop art". Their goal is to see the smile on people faces.
Tumblr media
Thirsty Giraffe
I like the sense of humour in this image. Combination of giraffe wearing pink heart-shaped sunglasses and having a swirl pink straw wrapped around its neck and looks like it is drinking through this straw. Background is very light pastel pink and it’s working together with pink colours of the straw and sunglasses. There must be used several layers to create this image and different blending modes, so we could see patches on giraffe’s neck through the straw and her eyes through sunglasses. The light is coming the right as the highlights are visible on the straw on the right. There is a great job done on the selection and refine edges. The image as whole looks illusive and surreal.

What Goes Around Comes Around
Mitsuhide in the modern world as requested by @otomediary who is a total doll <3
Warnings: implied nsfw
***
The thing he had noticed after the rain had stopped that first night was that there was a constant low buzz everywhere, like the noise of cicadas from a long distance, but with no end. He had no trouble blocking it out after a few hours, though he’d never tell her how unsettling the total lack of silence had been at the beginning when he was trying to sleep.
But then there were so many things that could capture one’s attention in her world that it seemed a wonder anyone ever slept at all. He had learned to focus on her steady breathing in the night like a lullaby. She watched him closely at first, almost fearfully, as if he might not take her world in stride.
There were times when he was startled awake in the dark at the ungodly wail of a siren or the rattle of a train, but he soon adjusted. Setting up a household with her had actually been fun, carrying boxes and furniture up flights of stairs with Sasuke, to whom he found himself irritatingly indebted for his forged documents and general guide to survival in the modern age.
“You pay for water?” He had asked upon overhearing her talking to a worker about it. “Water that comes out of the ground and falls out of the sky? That water?”
“We pay for everything. We practically pay to breathe.” She had answered with a fond shake of her head.
Western style clothes were another kind of adjustment, given that he felt damn near naked with nothing more between himself and the world than a thin cotton shirt and a pair of pants that could only be described as concealing nothing. It was one thing to pack his matchlock and sword away, though getting used to moving around without them at his hip took some doing, but clothes he couldn’t so much as hide a small knife in were another thing altogether.
But that was mitigated by the flash of hot desire in her eyes when she looked at him, which he returned upon seeing her in what she considered regular dress.
“You look--” she had inhaled sharply and cleared her throat, sweeping her eyes over him boldly, “really good. I mean, you always looked good but...”
“What a delightful expression on your face,” he had answered, gliding toward her where she sat, her bare legs tucked prettily under her, neck and shoulders scandalously bare halfway down her breast, the rest of her covered just enough to be make him wonder how long it would take to peel off those clothes.
“Want to show me the proper way to get undressed, little mouse?” He had whispered as he leaned over her, pleased to watch the flush travel up from her chest to her face.
He spent weeks poring over books, absorbing as much of history as he could, trying to draw a coherent thread through the centuries. It amused him that every book on the subject seemed to take it for granted that history could only have happened the way it had, when nothing had been clear or certain at the time.
When he wasn’t reading, he wandered the city while she worked, watching people go about their lives, feeling strange walking through the small pockets that had been preserved from a time closer to his own, listening to the language of tourists whose origins he couldn’t even begin to guess.
He had even found work thanks to Sasuke again, teaching the kind of arts that he had never considered himself particularly skilled in before-- archery, which, to Ieyasu’s chagrin he had all but abandoned in favor of the gun, and tea ceremony, for which his general irreverence had once been a thorn in Hideyoshi’s side.
His calligraphy was sufficient though not as elegant as Masamune’s, but taken out of context it was more than good enough to keep his lessons in high demand.
It made them feel far closer than they were, he could all but hear their laughter and criticism, as if they were wandering in and out of his manor again. He couldn’t say that he was particularly homesick, but it was pleasant to bring them back to life, if only in his mind.
He had come home one evening, and how strange it was to think of having a home that wasn’t in constant danger, and found her in a bright mood, fairly sparkling with excitement where she stood working at her laptop.
“And what’s got you all in a lather?” He asked, and he sauntered over to wrap his arms around her from behind and kiss the top of her head.
“I found a great deal for golden week-- a seaside resort down south. It will be nice for both of us to get out of the city, and” she said and spun around to offer him a dazzling smile, “you finally get to take a flight!”
“Why, I’m not sure I’m prepared to leave the ground. What if I have to hide my head in your lap?” He asked, teasingly as he lifted her onto the counter and she hooked her legs around his hips.
“You’re vastly overestimating the space in economy class seats is the answer to that.” She answered with a wink, as she draped her arms over his shoulders and grinned up at him with an honest affection that he had never gotten used to from the day they had met, and probably never would. He bent to kiss her and hooked his arms around her, carrying her toward the bedroom with a satisfied laugh.
She was more nervous than he was the day of their departure, and he reminded her to breathe several times as they sailed through security, his documents passing without a hitch. He’d have to bring Sasuke a bottle of something particularly nice for that.
They waited to board their flight by the window and though he kept a deliberately neutral expression, he couldn’t deny that he was excited. He had learned what there was to learn about the mechanics of flight, but there would always be something slightly magical about it for him.
They boarded and settled in, and she took his hand as he stared out the window at his side, still slightly struggling to imagine himself actually leaving the ground.
“Are you nervous?” She asked him softly.
“Me? Not even slightly. I was just thinking that if you’d try to tell me about this back then, I would’ve thought you were possessed.”
“Charming,” she said dryly, and held his hand more tightly as the engines roared to life.
“Are you nervous?” He asked, studying her.
“Not exactly. I get a little airsick though.” She said, looking a little green as they began to move. “But never mind that, I’ll be fine.”
He lifted her hand and kissed it gently. “Then I should thank you for putting yourself through something unpleasant for my sake.”
“Well you’ve been itching to fly since you got here, and what’s a little nausea compared to getting to watch you see the tops of the clouds for the first time?” She answered with a pained but sincere smile.
He exhaled in surprise at the curious sensation of being pushed back into his seat as they took off, rising at a dizzying speed. He exhaled softly as they cleared the cloud cover, which rolled out beneath them like a scene from a dream.
“Good god I hope nobody teaches you to play poker.” She said, smiling despite looking rather ashen.
He tore his eyes away from the view and drew her wrist toward him. “Too late for that, I’m afraid. I’ve already taken one of our neighbors for thousands.” He shot back, deadpan. She raised an eyebrow at him but a wave of sickness interrupted whatever she had intended to say.
“This might help, or at least it does with seasickness.” He said as he pressed his fingertips into a pressure point at the junction between her wrist and hand.
“That...” she trailed off and looked at him in surprise, “actually seems to be helping. Thank you.”
He smiled and kissed her forehead, and turned to look out at the clouds again, fingers steady on her wrist. It was a short few hours until they began to descend, which seemed just dangerous enough to be fun. She looked considerably better as they disembarked.
The humid heat made the breeze off the glittering blue sea even more refreshing as they left the taxi at their inn, which looked slightly shabby but pleasant enough.
“Oh no.” She said as they went in, greeted with a knowing leer by the innkeeper. She handled the paperwork as he watched a handful of women heading down a dim hall in the company of several seedy looking men.
“Goodness, my little seamstress, I never knew you had this kind of thing in mind.” He whispered as they made their way to the elevator, her face growing more red by the moment.
“I am going to make my co-worker pay in blood for suggesting this place.” She muttered, eyes fixed ahead, resolutely avoiding his gaze.
“Sex and violence? You do know how to keep things fresh.” He teased as they stepped inside. He put a protective arm around her as an older man looked her up and down with a predatory grin before catching his eye and noticing the murder in it. The blood drained from his face as he stepped by them and left them alone to make their way to their room.
“Oh dear god,” she mumbled as she sat reluctantly on the bed, some obvious noises coming from the adjacent room.
He snickered at her as he began to unpack their things, and cocked his head at the silence as it fell. “Well that was brief.” He said, and flashed her a grin.
“I want to sink into the floor and disappear.” She said, staring out into the distance with a look of horror that he found amusing.
“Do you really? Because I propose we give them a little competition.” He said as he grabbed her by the waist to tumble onto the bed.
“I shudder to think of where these sheets have been.” She said, but she smiled at him just the same.
“Oh I promise you we’ve shared worse.” He purred into her ear with a kiss that drew out a shuddering sigh.
“You’re incorrigible.” She answered, running her fingers through his hair as she relaxed under his touch.
“Mmhmm. But that’s why you love me.”
“Is that why? I’m not sure, you’d better remind me.” She replied, drawing him in for a hungry kiss.
They managed to disentangle themselves and dress in time to find a place to eat with a beautiful view of the sun sinking into the sea, and walked along the beach arm in arm.
“Nothing phases you, does it?” She asked with amusement as the waves washed across their feet.
“Oh, this will give me years of material to tease you with.” He answered, as he tucked a strand of windblown hair out of her face.
“You know how they say ‘what goes around comes around?’ that applies to you too, you irrepressible fox.” She shot back with a glint in her eye that left him wondering as she took his hand in hers and they made their way back to their room.
He was in a pleasantly exhausted sleep when a distant rattle in the early morning light roused him as it picked up to an otherworldly shriek, followed by an ear splitting sound like the largest loudest gun in the world being fired. He grabbed her instinctively, only to be greeted by a sleepy giggle in the ringing silence.
“Dare I ask what’s so funny?” He muttered, noticing her trying to repress further laughter.
“Just that it took an actual sonic boom to startle you. I wasn’t sure it would be enough.” She answered with a yawn, still looking decidedly amused.
“Shall I take this as an invitation to startle you? Because if so, you’ve come unarmed to face the artillery.” He said, glaring at her in mock fury to cover his own amusement as his pounding heart slowed.
“No! I owed you for all the times you made me squeak--”
He cut her off by tickling her, adding “like a little mouse?”
“Do your worst! You can’t erase that split second look of confusion from my memory!” She said, gasping and laughing as she writhed in his hands.
“You’re going to have do a lot to persuade me to call a truce.” He muttered as he pulled her close with a low laugh.
