Megumi Fushiguro doesn’t want to help people. He wants to save people. She tries to get him to do charity work instead, but he explains that he doesn’t care about saving everybody. The people in front of him are enough. She gives him a look that says she doesn’t get it, and Megumi doesn’t have the right words to tell her she’s on that list of people to save, right at the top, priority number one.

Nobara was Yuji's ray of hope in Shibuya. For a brief moment, she was the light at the end of the dark tunnel that Yuji fixated onto as he was in despair after Sukuna's rampage and Nanami's death.

"Thank you. You made me believe that I'm not alone."

When he needed someone the most, Kugisaki answered - the one person who could relate to the most.

No wonder he broke completely after he lost her too.

I know Ita-Fushi is a wonderful dynamic: but it always feels like Yuji unconsciously assures/protects Megumi in their interactions. With the Ita-Kugi dynamic: it feels like Yuji draws strength from Nobara as she is a reassuring force of nature with her personality.

Thinking about it: Gojo and Megumi gave Yuji a purpose in life. However, it was Nanami and Nobara that guided him into standing strong on his own two feet.

*I'm not saying any of his dynamics are better than others. All four of them played an interesting role in Yuji's character.
