🎓 🇩🇪 🇫🇷 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 It's almost that time of year, when study leave beginnings & exams start. We have updated the shop with lots of new language Class of 2024 badges
Today I started reading Horrorstör, and I really enjoy when authors decide to have some kind of fun theme in their layout, the Ikea catalogue style makes it a lot of fun.
I also did some time on duolingo, I'm hoping it'll help add to my vocabulary. I'm thinking of trying to learn some Dutch for fun as well, maybe some Japanese idk. Feel free to add me if you use duolingo!
Since May has come and the hellish nightmare for Italian students has come with it, I have now adopted the philosophy of “no beta, we die like men” when I have to submit things.
Translation from Latin or Ancient Greek? I just check I translated everything and the grammar. No last-minute editing.
Creative writing for my Italian classes? I check the grammar while writing it. No re-reading. No last-minute editing.
Essay for English or Italian class? Check the grammar and the number of min and max words while doing it. No last-minute editing.
Write about my hobbies for German class? Well shit idk anything re-reading will not make any difference. Just hope for the best.
We are working. Yeah, it is quite late. 22:30. The team had to go because at 22:00 there's a curfew so all the team needs to go back. And I've got quite a lot of work to do, because today wasn't a great day, in terms of low fuel pace, and now it's all about analyzing the driving, the different set-ups. Adjust the driving, and should be fine for qualy.
Unfortunately this is a true story😂❤️🇮🇹🇺🇸Also just a note that often times native English speakers do mess up grammar! But in this situation we had a really strange substitute teacher who refused to believe that I was actually American until I proved it to her🥺
Italians are funny because all the ones I've met simultaneously agree that every region is like it's own country and they have nothing in common but they all agree they're Italians and they do have a lot in common. And from my perspective both statements are true.
Found the notebook with my Japanese notes (hiragana and katakana). I've decided that tomorrow I'll buy another notebook to learn Italian in and leave this one for when I continue learning Japanese.
Not a great day productivity wise. Felt quite down in the afternoon but in the evening we went to a relatives' house for dinner and talking to them did cheer me up. Although we were there for about 3 hrs and now I'm so tired... Tomorrow I'm going to go to a cafe after mass to study in so my tracked study hours are about to go up!! (finally!)

It's way overdue to be tidied but it still functions
Today I did my Italian reading Comprehension quiz! I had a lazy study morning re-reading Lo Scambio by Jhumpa Lahiri in bed to refresh my memory, and then I got through the quiz. It hasn't been graded yet but I think I did pretty well!
Other than that I just kept up my duolingo streak.
