Easy Rosemary Garlic Focaccia Bread, my favourite recipe of focaccia, very flavourful, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. ➡️follow @join_your_life_ ✔️ SAVE this post to make later ✔️ TAG a friend who needs this inspo Ingredients 500g strong bread flour , plus extra for dusting 7g dried fast action yeast or 21 gr fresh yeast 2 tsp fine sea salt 350-400 ml lukewarm water 5 tbsp olive oil , plus extra for the tin and to serve For the topping 4-5 garlic cloves crushed or grated 1 tsp flaky sea salt ¼ small bunch of rosemary , sprigs picked 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried 5 tbsp olive oil 5 cherry tomatoes, halved (optional) Making the topping: add garlic, olive oil, salt and herbs to a small pan. Place the pan over low heat and cook, stirring occasionally, 2 to 4 minutes or until aromatic, but before the garlic browns. Set aside. Making the dough 1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and 3-4 tbsp of flour. Stir a few times then let sit for 5 -10 minutes. 2. Add the olive oil, the flour and salt. 3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until the 4. dough comes together, soft and less sticky. 5. Transfer the dough to a large oiled bowl, cover with clinging film and a clean towel and let it rise for 1 hour. 6. After this time, heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. 7. Use two tbsp of the olive oil and grease a 9-inch by 13-inch rimmed baking pan. 8. Transfer the dough to the baking pan, then press it down gently into the pan. Use your fingers to dimple the dough then drizzle the top with the the garlic olive oil mixture. Add the tomatoes on the surface, if using, by pressing gently into the dough. Let the dough rise for 20 -30 minutes until it puffs slightly. 9. Bake until golden brown, 15 to 20 min. Cool baked focaccia bread on a wire rack. 10. Fig, Guanciale + Onion Pasta my recipe based on a dish I had many moons ago, prepared on a boat in Italy *recipe* Boil salted water for cooking pasta (I used penne because it’s what I had, but would prefer spaghetti). Cook pasta while preparing sauce, until it’s a few minutes shy of al dente. Sauté some sliced guanciale in extra virgin olive oil together with a finely chopped small onion on medium heat. Don’t brown either, just cook until the onion is translucent and cooked through (about 5 ministers or so). Add about 6 medium sized ripe figs which you’ve cut into quarters (I used really ripe green figs) and lots of black pepper plus salt to taste. Sauté for about 3 or 4 minutes until figs break down a little bit. Add drained pasta to sauce and cook for a few minutes, adding pasta water as needed to create the sauce. Reposted from @manzigiovanniofficial ⚠️ SALVA LA RICETTA ⚠️ Iniziamo la settimana leggerissimi 😎 SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO E PEPERONCINO 🌶 📝 INGREDIENTI X 2 persone: Spaghetti 200 g; Aglio 2 spicchi; Peperoncino 1/2 Olio EVO q.b. Prezzemolo q.b. 👨‍🍳 PREPARAZIONE : Cuocere gli spaghetti in acqua bollente e salata. Versare abbondante olio in una padella e aggiungere gli spicchi d’aglio tagliati finemente e privati dell’anima, insieme a due gambi di prezzemolo Aggiungere il peperoncino e fare cuocere a fuoco molto lento. Scolare al dente la pasta e tuffarla in padella con il condimento, dopo aver rimosso i gambi di prezzemolo. Frittata is the perfect Italian breakfast. Light, creamy with lots of vegetables.
This dish is made from a whipped mixture of eggs, milk, sour cream, Bulgarian sweet pepper, healthy spinach and garlic. We will bake the frittata in the oven, you can cook it in a cast-iron frying pan over medium-medium heat.
Toppings can be chosen according to your taste:
• Spinach, artichokes and feta cheese
• Broccoli, cheddar and green onions
• Cremini mushrooms, arugula and goat cheese
• Cherry tomatoes, zucchini, mozzarella and basil
• Shown here: yellow onion, carrot, bell pepper, goat cheese and green onion.
For best results, use heavy cream, yogurt, sour cream and fat milk. So the taste will be rich, and the frittata will be dense.
