I hate the way that Tumblr just won’t let me respond to replies anymore so here’s a general appreciation post for @topaxi​ because they’re great and my pets love the love.

How are the buns doing?

They're doing well. I had to switch their hay because Barkley's allergic to the normal stuff so they're mad at me, but they'll get over it in probably a week or two.

@likewise-r Thank you for your reply, even though Tumblr won’t let me respond to it for some reason. And yeah, you are absolutely right that I don’t need permission for stuff like that. But also, it kinda feels nice to get it? I don’t know, I’m a super insecure person and I have been struggling SO MUCH with the concept of my gender for a while now but that’s also mostly because I don’t know anything about how gender works or what my feelings about it mean. So it’s nice to know that deciding, even if it’s just for now, that I’m just not gonna have one for a bit is something that can be accepted and not viewed as lazy just makes me so much more comfortable with the idea. I’m also fairly confident that this will be a temporary thing as I try to figure stuff out a bit more, but I want to take a break from that because literally all that I KNOW right now is that female doesn’t feel quite right anymore but not to the point that I am opposed to she/her pronouns. 

Also, sorry for how long and rambly this is. I’m just trying to make sense of things and sometimes just rambling on the internet helps with that process.

I’m sorry you can’t read it. And I feel like that sounds super selfish that I’m losing a reader or whatever, but I’m actually just genuinely sorry that I wrote something you don’t feel comfortable reading. I’m happy that you’re doing what you’ve gotta do to be safe/happy, though. I’m going to do my best to get something out that you can read soon because it’s been ages and I’m sorry that you had to deal with my near constant updates about that story when you can’t read the results.

It is super disconcerting but also kind of hilarious. 

Also, I’m kinda curious about that asian drama on your dash. I kept getting those for a while and it led me to one of my favorite shows (Sotus) but I still wish there was more anime stuff for us.

Look at that goodest boy!!

I’m not sure I’d say he’s the goodest boy, but he’s pretty ok. He’s a picture my sister took when he got loose and I was trying to get him to come back to me. (But I also wasn’t super concerned because I know he’d never go far and he wasn’t able to get to the road or anything)

Me looking at Barkley’s tail: “Is he tired? ... Oh wait, he’s not a spitz. His tail droops always, not just when tired.” XD

Lol, that was a fun learning curve for me when I got him. It’s been a while (like 3 years) since I had a dog other than Oso so I’m used to his spitz tail so I spent a good day or two just learning Barkley’s queues regarding his tail. But he lifts his tail when he’s super excited and wanting to play or when he needs to go outside. There is a very small difference in the way he holds it to be able to tell which he needs, but honestly, half the time it’s just a guessing game still.
