So it's two years exactly since I first saw bat and to celebrate I've created a collection of bracelets inspired by the show. I am unfortunately limited by tumblrs image limit, so I'm just putting the group photos here for now, but if you go to my shop (link in the replies) they're all in the featured products section.

The Lost

I'm super super proud of all of these! Its been so much fun working on them and figuring out the different costumes, and I hope you love them just as much as I do!

Actually changing Valkyrie to be a main ensemble character is a good thing because it means there's a female main character (ish) who isn't potentially in love with Strat (I personally do not subscribe to the "Sloane is/was in love with Strat theory but it's definitely there)

what’s the book that’s behind your booh etsy bracelets? it looks awesome!

The backgrounds for the photos are various different copies of The Obsidian Times, which I have either bought online or been gifted by @forcryingoutbat

tbh they’re some of my favourite photos I’ve taken jewellery wise, but if you want to check out some of my other photos, you can find all of them over on my Instagram (don't look at the very oldest ones, frankly i'm embarrassed by them). I'm very proud at the moment of my new Hadestown pictures!

I just got an email from the bat tour 😭😭😭 it's been postponed a full year but at least it's still going to happen. But it was supposed to be my you passed your GCSES treat... Not my happy going into year 13 treat 😭😭

So I saw this and then my world kind of fell apart and I forgot about it, so I’m super sorry that I’m replying to this so late!

But!

Bat is still on! and theatres are on track to reopen! and yesterday i saw a thing about the australia arena tour and i'm still super hyped about that because I am *fascinated* to see how they adapt the staging to suit an arena!

i'm also going to take a second to do some shameless self promotion of my Bat bracelets. Basically over christmas i got super sad about bat, and for my two year battiversary I made a load of bracelets inspired by a bunch of costumes from the show! they are *all* available over on my etsy page, and they're one of my favourite things i've ever made and quite honestly if I saw someone wearing one at a show I would probably cry

If I was in charge of bat, something I'd love to try would be instead of having the usual Sloane and Falco actors doing the paradise flashback, having different members of the lost play the roles each performance

I just think in paradise you really don't get an idea of how very young they're both supposed to be. They're younger than Raven at this stage, and having them played as adults takes away from that
