Sexuality Headcanon: bisexual 👍 subaru being somewhere on the ace spectrum isnt a super strong headcanon of mine compared to the bisexual hc but i am still fond of it <33 bc i do tend to just hc him as bisexual but i suppose i could kind of see it <33 :DD !!

Gender Headcanon: subaru is literally, as we’ve all discussed, like EVERY letter of lgbtq+ i swear. like natsumi EXPLICITLY being stated to be his ideal self….. what cisgender boy has his ideal version of himself be a woman…. come on….. and hes been like. dressing and trying to pass as a girl for his crossdressing pre-isekai too. like subarus Practiced A Lot at this. subaru clearly enjoys doing this and he was crushed when he couldnt pass bc of his voice pre-isekai :(( AND LIKE subaru and his complex relationship to masculinity and feeling insecure in his own skin like……………… and then natsumi being his ideal self…… natsumi being the Heroine……….. and its like. subaru clearly has a case of “do i want to be them or be With Them” when it comes to men hes attracted to (most notably julius.) so like. it could apply to women too. like. and then the way subaru reacts to felix’s presentation too………. i just think it says a lot. i dont care what tappei says but he wrote all this shit in the text fr!!! and also in general. natsuki subaru being a gender neutral name…. same with natsumi schwartz… so yes genderqueer subaru for the win. i personally hc subaru as genderfluid or bigender!! and also like. subaru being Very LGBTQ+ is so in line with rezero’s themes of self love and self improvement and self discovery and Identity. i think it hits so much harder if subaru Is lgbtq+ versus if he was just insecure straight cis man. like no wonder subaru was struggling Even More. hes so so far in the closet and struggling with like the internal homophobia and shit fr :(((

that and 1. subaru being lgbt is such a great subversion of what you would think when you first meet his character. and also a subversion of ur typical isekai protag which ADDS to rezeros subversion of isekai in general and 2. i love making Certain People mad with these hcs. like its so supported by the text the only thing missing is explicit confirmation. which. i have my doubts with tappei on that but iirc he DID say he nearly wrote a lust if with the guys…. tappei. come on. you already explicitly said that natsumi is subarus ideal self.

A ship I have with said character: im very open to most subaru ships!!! i just love a lot of them—reinsuba, ottosuba, emisuba, remsuba, julisuba… i just like how each kind of dynamic with subaru has so much range like even in just main route alone?? and then you factor in the ifs and it gets So Interesting. theres so much history with each pairing and so much to explore, whether its platonic or romantic. and subaru has a LOT of love in his heart.

i just like each pairing for different reasons hah—like ok ive talked a lot about reinsuba and emisuba already in other asks so. i DO like remsuba okay. not in the sense that i want it to be the endgame ship in main route bc thats very much not happening and i would prefer The Most Detailed emisuba development of all time. which would be more thematically relevant <3 but i DO ADORE remsubas relationship in general. like its so so complicated??? like. yeah theres the conflict in arc 2. theres the conflict in arc 7 with her waking up and being different and being so mean to him about natsumi :((( theres her “youre my hero” versus “youre not a hero” WHICH. URHGHF ITS SO GOOD….. and like yeah remsuba really do be. iffy. in terms of how healthy it is. but its so complicated bc you also have rem being like—she was like the first person, narratively, to be willing to DIE to save subaru the exact way he does for other people (including rem). and then the famous from zero scene in season one which is a MASTERPIECE but i hate how people fixate on “i love emilia” LIKE REM IS HAPPY FOR SUBARU. SHE IS HAPPY AS LONG AS HE IS. EVEN IF HE DOESNT LIKE HER BACK. but also he did like her back romantically for a time. and also of course rem had her fixation on subaru :(( subaru had his own obsession for emilia while rem had hers for subaru pre-being gluttonyed?? :(( yeah like. remsuba being so complicated is so interesting to me. like she and subaru are very passionate people yes. but also they do need to learn to tone it down sometimes you know? REM ESPECIALLY TOO BECAUSE EVEN AFTER SHE STOPS BEING MURDERY TOWARDS HIM… FOR EXAMPLE IN SEASON ONE SHE WOULD CANONICALLY GO TO HIS ROOM IN THE MORNING AND WAIT FOR HIM TO WAKE UP…. like she'd just sit there at his bedside and Stare at him... like girl chill a bit its okay T^T i havent read sloth if. but it seems like they learned to mellow out and have a happy life T^T apart from. a shit ton of people dying in the background and also subaru dying of old age and resetting back to arc 3. i am interested to see if we’ll get further remsuba closure in arc 8 yes. but also im bonking subaru on the head in arc 7 for saying even REM TORTURING HIM was a fond memory. pls let this be addressed again later i swear sodndn.

ok also julisuba and ottosuba. i am no expert on julisuba but on the other hand i have analyzed Too Much Ottosuba so perhaps i am an expert there wodndn. but YEAH i love those ships. they have so much history and moments between them and they are. definitely the more Explicit evidence of subaru being bi (between subarus Interest in julius and reid calling julisuba boyfriends and SUBARUS INTEREST IN JULIUS... vs ottosuba repeatedly being like “omg do you Like Like me?” “NO I DONT SHUT UP” and also their continued divorce arc dynamics yep). but also i will say i really like ottosuba because specifically they are the subaru pairing where theyre like. Very Much Closer To Being Equals. if theyre not already equals in something. like in terms of power levels and intellect and their very loving families and previous inability to fit in or be believed by people and also their status in the narrative as Being Just A Guy in comparison to everyone else. and yet ottosuba are the MOST important members to their camp for their jobs—subaru keeps everyone alive, and otto handles All the politics, which we see over and over again. they are literally THE power duo. otto is so so important too as the second person to die FOR subaru the same way subarus died for others. like the paralleling of otto pushing subaru out of the way when the white whale drove otto insane (and later otto tried to go back for subaru once he regained his senses ;-;;;) versus otto pushing subaru out of the way so he didnt get killed by garf ;-;;;;;. and otto being the second person after rem to also give subaru an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT speech to him (otto-rem parallels...???) <33 except ottosuba also foil a lot bc of their Different Morals. but theyre both stubborn as hell and have a tendency to go off and do shit they think is best without telling anyone bc theyre too deadset (hah) on what THEY think. (OTTO. SPENDING A WHOLE YEAR SECRETLY GETTING THE BOOK OF WISDOM AND HAVING IT RESTORED?? HELLO???) anyway yeah ill stop right here bc i have So Much ottosuba posts on this damn blog wkdndn but i really do think the appeal of ottosuba is that they Are on a more even playing ground. and their morality flipflops sometimes. ottos issues are just more lowkey than subarus widndnd. i am. however. nervous about all the ottosuba and vincent-chisha parallels in arc 8 bc………. possible otto perma death on the horizon??? 😭😭😭😭 itd CRUSH subaru.

also of course the similar flavors of julisuba and ottosuba….. u can have ur tsundere x tsundere ships in TWO DIFFERENT FONTS. anyway ill become a julius lore expert someday i promise.

A BROTP I have with said character: BROTP ottosuba and ramsuba are so so funny and great wofndn but special shoutout to garf and subaru in particular!!! i think its interesting how far their relationship has come bc they had a VERY rough start and its like. 1. im sure garf would immediately regret going into a rage and killing a shit ton of people in that One Failed Loop and 2. we learn garf is a traumatized fourteen year old whos been trying so hard to take care of the demihumans inside sanctuary while his sister and mom left him, one way or another, and hes very afraid of the outside world. and its like YEAH now your behavior makes sense. and its so good to see garfs growth and also his growth in his relationship with subaru (and otto) bc he looks up to subaru sm!!! subaru helped garf so much T^T theyre brothers guys 😭😭 i think its so adorable and so sweet. ill defend garf all day everyday. garf 🤝 subaru with their DAMN hero complexes while otto tries to keep them both on a leash so they dont do stupid shit. subaru IS a good role model for garf though ill say that. subaru tries so hard to be a good role model wkdndn. and yes i always laugh when garf teases subaru for drawing doodles and writing encouraging things for emilia in the temple.

A NOTP I have with said character: okay so. maybe i will spill some tea here. hah so i went over in ram’s ask how i think ramsuba in wrath if is actually super interesting widndns but otherwise ramsuba to me is bland. which. i also just feel like subaru/crusch and subaru/ana and subaru/priscilla are also bland. like. i dont think theyll ever feel interesting to me akdndn. like theres not. as much to work off of imo. like i just dont think theyre a good match romantically at all. like At All. priscilla especially LMAO…. and im tired of people reducing women in the story to just boobs and being fucked by subaru 😭😭😭 like i dont have anything against those subaru ships, my biggest notp is just seeing a bunch of characters be butchered just to have subaru have sex with various women. 😭😭 obviously not everyone in the fandom does that but i see this happens the most with priscilla fr. pls. shes more than just boobs :(((

anyway. my other notp is like. echidna/subaru but like. i feel similarly to ram/roswaal on this where its like. theres a potential there to show a nuanced complex toxic relationship bc THAT IS what echidna/subaru are. even more so in greed if. like theyve spent an UNGODLY amount of time together like their relationship is so fucked. like god the amount of details that were added to their dynamic in the greed if ln makes me go INSANE….. like you know how echidna said that subaru could use her body with this contract?? what she ALSO really meant was HEY SUBARU YOU CAN KILL ME IF YOU WANT. ILL JUST COME BACK BC WE ALWAYS MEET IN A DREAM WORLD AND THERES NO CONSEQUENCES BUT ITLL FEEL REAL TO YOU. LIKE HOLY FUCK FR 😭😭 and like in generally reading through greed if ln is a Trip alright. like “no yeah duh of course it is, suffaru, its GREED IF” but LISTEN……. echidna being subarus weird mother figure and then like. idk there are obvious implications i feel from like the body fluid tea and then echidna being like “you can use my body” and then theres a moment where she puts his hand on her chest and yeah its to feel her heart but LIKE…. SOMETHING ABOUT THAT SCENE FELT LIKE. SOMETHING. TO ME. AND THEN SHES SO OBSESSED WITH HIM AND HES DEPENDENT ON HER LIKE JESUS ITS A MESS. ITS LIKE HOW SHE WAS WITH OG ROSWAAL. GOD. *puts my head in my hands*

anyway my real notp is like. depicting echidna/subaru like it is a Healthy Thing like no it is not 😭😭😭😭 it never was healthy and it literally never will be unless ur changing echidnas character drastically. if ur gonna show off echidna/subaru then they are gonna be SO RANCID in like every way possible there is no other correct way to write them. she is terrible for him. she literally saw him and went “i can make him worse” and then it happened. bc greed if subaru is a Terrible Person. like. its not even a question. the biggest example i can think of rn other than obvious Rbd use is KEEPING MEILI. A CHILD. HOSTAGE AND LOCKED UP IN ORDER TO USE ELSA. HER OLDER SISTER FIGURE. JEEZ. my biggest notp of all time is treating unhealthy relationships as if they Arent unhealthy.

MY OTHER BIGGEST NOTP OF ALL TIME FOR ANYTHING IS SHIPPING A CHILD AND AN OLDER PERSON TOGETHER. subaru/petra SHOULD BE AN OBVIOUS NOTP BUT SURE DOESNT FEEL LIKE IT SOMETIMES….. guys she is a child. come on. hes seventeen and shes TWELVE. GUYS…. and then theres tappei making iirc an ACTUAL petra if????? and idk what the content in petra if is exactly but i worry given tappeis track record with the child characters sometimes 😭😭 AND THEN PETRA BEING IN LUST IF. TAPPEI…… N-NOTHING HAPPENS, RIGHT? *EXPLODES WITH RAGE*. even if petra and subaru get together later when theyre Older Adults in some AU or something its like. subaru knew her when she was a young child. and she had a crush on him then. um. personally idk if im fully comfortable with that hah T^T

A random headcanon: GONNA TALK ABOUT WRATH IF. anyway so the wrath if divergence point is that subaru gets beatrice to teleport him away and ram chases him down, ram tries to strangle him to death but fails, he smashes her head with a rock. yes. BUT OKAY when u watch the anime. beatrice comes for his aid AFTER subaru gets to the cliff and tries to psych himself up to like. jump off to save rem and stuff. THEREFORE wrath if subaru still considered trying to rbd via jumping off that cliff. he just decided not to and agreed to have beatrice teleport him away. this is something not many people seem to mention or maybe even notice (??) but I THINK ABOUT IT A LOT…. :((

General Opinion over said character: i LOVE SUBARU WITH MY WHOLE BEING. he is my absolute favorite anime character of all time. his character arc is so chaotic and complicated and i think the way he Does like still struggle with the same Inner Conflicts is so so much more realistic. recovery and self improvement are NOT linear and he shows that perfectly. and i hate how much people misread subaru T^T the whole chadbaru trend in fandom of how he should get harems or how he should leave everyone or be terrible to emilia for *insert a long list of Terrible reasons here* is so. like did we all read and watch the same damn story or what hah. the whole point of rezero is LOVE ITSELF….. and subaru ultimately has a lot of love for so many people around him. though of course i do worry for how rbd reveal is going to be handled, and im not entirely sure how to feel about subarus arc 7 development atm. rbd reveal is gonna have catastrophic consequences for Everyone. like everyone hes ever been close to finding out hes died a shit ton of times to save him?? that so many of them have like. maimed and killed him or at least Tried To Do That? like HOW are we gonna get a happy ending out of all of this—hows tappei gonna handle this?? 😭😭 i worry sometimes that when rbd reveal happens it wont be nuanced or itll gloss over certain things or it just. wont be so satisfying. bc u have arc 7 subaru out here with SUICIDE PILLS……. ARC 7 SUBARU IN REPEATED INSANE DEATH LOOPS AS A CHILD….. how are we gonna come back from this?? 😭😭 i have my doubts sometimes but tappei loves insane character development for subaru so i suppose i will hope. i just wish for all the trauma to be seen and addressed akdndn and the fact that rbd is so. complicated. it makes subaru and his relationships with everyone else so complicated. and rbd is inherently unfair in a lot of ways to both subaru and everyone hes close to. i cant wait for more subaru development but i also think after arc 8 he NEEDS a break or like otherwise, personally i think subarus gonna snap for good and not be able to return from it 😭😭 or ill just have to suspend my uhh disbelief. i suppose. but yes i do love subaru a lot!!! his hair is a Pain in the ass to draw but ill endure the pain just for him. <33

but regarding all of subarus loved ones maiming and killing him a lot—i think its fascinating how the if routes prove he is JUST as capable of ruining all their lives. like i feel like people forget that sometimes in favor of woaaah cool what if routes where subaru becomes “badass”…. but LIKE…. hes SO SO CAPABLE of so much destruction. he is choice itself. he is capable of changing the entire world and everyone around him. he is capable of causing the deaths and trauma for SO MANY PEOPLE… and like i think rezero itself and subarus relationships are like an extreme version of hedgehog’s dilemma, u know? like u get close to people to love and be loved, but ur also very vulnerable to getting hurt. and rezero is About love. and part of close relationships are that ur so close u Can be hurt. maybe you Will be hurt. but u will also Love….. unless ur one of the ifbarus then fuck u for making the wrong decisions ig wodndndn. im telling u guys that subaru is LITERALLY an eldritch being at this rate. todd is so right.

and. okay one last thing im gonna be real for a second. im a little eh on subaru being a child, honestly. like i DO like the trope of turning characters back into their child selves in order to explore their psychology that way!! but like. idk i feel like the childbaru arc is kinda too similar to the whole amnesiabaru arc in arc 6. it feels Extraneous. it doesnt feel different enough for me personally. (emphasis on personally. this is all my opinion hah.) and then he is STILL A CHILD IN ARC 8 EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT GOT TURNED INTO KIDS ARE NOW BACK TO NORMAL…… LIKE…. im sorry but the childbaru has overstayed its welcome by the time we get to arc 8 imo 😭😭

- eddie has!!!!!! horses!!!!!!! oh how i love horsies. their names are tatiana and cheddar. tati is a full horse (5'6" at her shoulder) and cheddar is a pony! hes a little bastard boy <3 charles is not a fan of these horses. charles is scared of heights 👍

- they have sex befote they ever put a label on it. uhm. its not explicit (#asexual) but they DO and eddie actually was so drunk that he forgets abt it for a while. he does eventually figure his shit out but it takes a second <33

- the petname "treasure" DOES show up. i will die on this hill forever and ever. "good treasure" "my treasure" etc. you get the point

oh so I’m not way into O66, like I’m still on page 215, and it’s taking me a very long time to finish because honestly I'm losing interest, it feels like KT’S just reusing TC’s plot as far as I am in the book

There’s also this one scene at the very start of the book with Kal when he’s a kid and he’s just lost his bio parents and a mando group just picked him up and they’re all running away from something (I forgot what), and his Mando dad (I don’t remember his name fnfnjdks) is yelling at him after Kal’s fallen to the ground cause like, that’s a child, I think he was just 7, but his Mando father is screaming at him and telling him things like he’s worthless??? And then later after all of that he just picks Kal up and then tells him that he was yelling at him to motivate him and. I’m really just disappointed, it feels like she was doing the whole Walon Vau thing again

And also after that scene Ordo marries Besany, like seriously just out of the blue he’s like ‘we should marry’ and she’s surprised but then she’s like ‘okay yeah, sure’ and they do the mandalorian vows and then just like that. They’re married.

Also etain tells darman about the baby. As far as I am into the book he’s in shock and he’s upset that he didn’t tell her and he’s not talking to her and he’s also upset that Kal didn’t tell him so he’s talking to the rest of omega squad and. Yea.

And also Fi’s doing well and he’s progressing on Mandalore <33 though I am kind of uncertain about his relationship with Parja (rav bralor’s niece I think??) because. Idk. Fi refers to himself as ‘another broken machine for her to fix’ in his head and he thinks that it’s the only reason she loves him. I dunno. I really hope it ends well for Fi.

Also I am suspecting that KT is going to partner up Niner with a woman like she did with the rest of the squad, at least by the end of the book. I don’t like how she’s going into that narrative of ‘everyone needs a partner to be happy and have a full life’ but umm we’ll see

I am crocheting my first QR code. Here's how you can too :)

In order to complete this project you will need to know how to read a crochet graph and how to carry color. If you are not sure search "how to tapestry crochet"

It is not too difficult but I do not recommend this as your first Tapestry crochet project but maybe your third or fourth one because the code will only work if you make this correctly. I dont want you to spend 5 hours making this just for it to not work :'(

1. Go to stitchfiddle.com

2. Select create new chart -> crochet -> crochet with colors -> no yarn preference -> create from QR code -> from the drop menu for type I selected website -> copy and paste the URL -> size 1 -> open chart

3. I am using medium 4 weight yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. I am adding a border that is 2 rows and 4 st9tches thick. I am also using 2 DC per pixel, so...

4. My QR code is 29 pixels wide. 2 DC per pixel means the code will be 58 stitches wide. I am adding a border 4 stitches thick. So 4 DC for the left and 4 DC for the right makes each row a total of 64 stitches wide.

5. QR codes are square so that means mine is also 29 pixels/ rows tall. I am adding that border which is 2 rows thick. So 2 rows for the top and 2 rows for the bottom which makes it 33 rows tall. This does not include the initial chain.

6. It's important that how ever many rows you decide to start with before you begin your code graph that you are facing the front of the work when you start row 1 of the code.

7. Begin this in your light color (white, yellow, light blue etc) Your border MUST being a certain thickness and must be a light color. It will not scan if your border is too dark or too thin. Trust me, I had to add stitches to make mine work.

Row 1: Chain 63 + 2, DC into 3rd chain from hook, DC across (64 double crochets including that chain 2)

8. Starting rows with a "SC in SC type DC":

SC into the top of the last DC of the previous row, SC into that SC. This is how every row will start. It's thicker and fills in space better than starting a row with a chain 2. Or chain 2 instead Idc its your life my guy.

Row 2: Either Chain 2 or make the SC in SC type DC then DC across (64)

9. Row 3: Either Chain 2 or make the SC in SC type DC to start then DC across

10. We have just finished the bottom edge of the border and will now begin the code. Start with two DC stitches then begin the graph. Remember each pixel / square is made up of two DC stitches. Carry your colors on the back of the work making sure to keep a gentle tension which will help the work lay flat. You can block this if it is too wavy or wrinkly.

Row 4: Ch 2, DC into the next 3 stitches, then begin your QR Code graph. Carry Color on the back side. 2 DC per pixel or square on your graph.

11. If your code does not scan

-Try adding an additional row of stitches to each side. I had to do a full border of DC all around mine to make it work

-Try stretching it wider and taller to make the stitches sit better

-Try actually blocking the square

-Try going through and eyeballing any where a stitch might have been lost, like a square thats only 1 DC wide for some reason. You can Hand embroider over the top of the stitch in the color it is supposed to be. Its not a complete loss! You can see where this wouldve happened because its actually noticable, there will be a wierd stairstep where there should be a corner touching another corner.

a/n: hello everyone! before uni officially tie me to its depths I give you the last part of this series! this is a bit longer than the rest! You wiped your hands off your handkerchief and folded the damp side in, before having a last look on your reddened-face in the mirror. Slowly, you search for your phone that's kept inside the right pocket of your cardigan.

Pres: Hey y/n! Think you can pick up the pamphlets and flyers we’ve pre-ordered for the festival? They’re ready for pick up, the store manager just messaged me.

Y/n: Oh yeah sure! Just message me the location. I’ll be there!

And just like that, you had the excuse to have a time alone. You can finally put down the facade of being okay on the outside. Hopefully you can recuperate this time.

Lucky. You thought.

“Baji-san! Where are you going?” Chifuyu shouts as he asks the captain who instinctively stood up and came marching towards the door.

“Ya said it didn’t you? Ya asked me if I knew what went wrong, and I know exactly what did went wrong,” Baji said, not stopping on his tracks as he fishes out for his phone in his pocket.

“Yeah and?” the exhausted blonde asks between breaths, continuing to follow Baji’s brisk walking.

“And I’m going to fix it,” Baji says with eyes full of intent, only taking a halt to look at his vice-captain one last time before running towards the stairs to the 4th floor.

He couldn’t miss this chance again.

Just as when you were about to leave the front building of your school, you saw that the sky is getting dimmer. Good thing you’ve always kept an umbrella inside your locker.

Y/n: Kennyyyy, please tell Mikey I’m going out right now to pickup the pamphlets and flyers for the festival. I also texted him but you know he doesn’t check his phone so often. Please wait for me at school before going home!! <33

🐉 Ken: Wait for us. We’ll go with u.

Y/n: Don’t bother! Am already out! And I think it will be just a few piles of paper!

🐉 Ken: Take my bike. Or Mikey’s.

Y/n: It’s alright! I’ll just take the bus to and fro!! It’s not that far :))

Y/n: Will do! I’ll be just around the 3rd district! See ya later! 💛

You took the bus going to the 3rd district to pick up some of the promo materials for the festival just as instructed. It shouldn’t have been a difficult task —no. You’re just supposed to ride a bus, get the goods, hop back on the bus and finish your duties for that day.

But the afternoon sky says different.

“What'dya mean she’s not here?!” A frustrated Baji slams the council table upon learning that you are in fact not in there.

Fuck. Did I lose her again?

“Um, well,” one of the trembling council members try to reply to an obviously infuriated student.

“Well, she’s on duty right now for festival prep an—,” Baji cuts off the officer.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know,” he rakes his fingers through his hair.

“Then where the fuck is she?!” He says, desperate and frustrated at himself.

“She went out to fetch the promo materials by the third district for—,” Baji didn’t even let the officer finish, he just immediately thanked her and left the room without another word.

Once again, he took out his phone and dialed a number.

Hello Mikey?

Yeah. It’s Baji.

Oh what’s up Baji?

"Baji huh? What’s he up to?" Draken says from the other line.

Oh good Draken’s there.

Yeah, Ken-chin’s with me. You need anything?

Yeah. I need help.

Ya know where y/n is? Council said she went to the 3rd district for some festival duty shit.

Oh I don’t know she did. Hold on.

"Ken-chiinnnn, you know where y/n is? Baji’s looking for her," Mikey shouts over at Draken

"Yeah, yeah, hand me the phone"

Hey Baji, y/n went to the 3rd district for some council duties.

Yeah, yeah but do you know where?

She didn’t tell me. She said it’ll be just some quick work and she’ll be back right after. Call her if you want. Or wait here, she said she’ll join us after her duties.

Ah fuck. A’right, a’right. Thanks Draken.

But deep inside he knows full well that this can’t wait.

The bus ride to the 3rd district only takes up about 20 minutes. You’ve been there waaaay too many times to know just how long it should take for you to get there. However when light rain started to pour, the road got wet and slippery and so all vehicles must reduce their speed.

3:14 pm — classes will end in a while, but a lot will probably stay for festival preparation.

You checked your phone to see if any new messages came in, and you saw the president’s instructions about the location of the shop.

“Huh, this shouldn’t be too hard to find,” you said to yourself and proceeded to plug in tour earphones and played some music.

The rain might take a while, and your ride must be longer this time. You didn’t mind though, you needed to take off some time anyway.

As far away from him as possible.

3:27 pm — just a few minutes and the bell will ring any time soon to signal dismissal.

Baji keeps on shifting on his feet, and tapping them on the floor as he sits in front of his locker, back against the cold metal, ready to storm off the place and chase after you.

As soon as the bell rings, he immediately walked through the building exit and didn’t mind the drizzle on his head.

With with hands combing his hair, and teeth clenching on his hair tie, he wasted no time running to the bus stop.

He knows that the bus station is just 2 blocks away from the school, he can make it dry enough to catch the earliest bus possible, right?

Wrong.

Water droplets start to stream in the ponytail he’s tied before. The rain is going on stronger and stronger as he walks. By the time he reached the bus stop, no bus was there but rather a clump of people trying to stay dry under the small shed.

With frustration all over his face, he bit his lip and searched his head for a way to get to you.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Looks like he’s running out of luck today.

Baji came back to a konbini he’s passed on his way there, and took out his phone that’s been luckily shielded under his pocket by his school blazer.

He punched your number in his keypad tapping on his shoes while he waits for you to answer, but his eyebrows just draw closer to each other every time he’s greeted back by failed phone call.

He called you thrice in a row now, and there is still no answer.

Onto his other pocket, he tried to reach out and fish whatever money he’s had with him just to get to you --a cab or a train or whatever that’s faster than his legs. But unfortunately lady luck has been in a deep slumber at that moment.

I have no other choice but to take the hard way don’t I?

And so, he wrings his soaked ponytail, grabbed the umbrella he borrowed from the store and started running to your direction.

3:32 pm — it took you more than 10 minutes later than expected, before you have arrived at the bus stop and the rain is relentlessly pouring.

You have prepared your umbrella before taking off the bus, but it can’t be helped that the gust of the wind through the droplets fall on your face and on your clothes.

By the time that you have arrived in the shop, blotches of water is already visible on your skirt and your blouse. Even a part of your socks are already a bit damp, and you eyeglasses has been foggy from how cold it has been outside.

Upon entering the shop, you closed your umbrella to leave it by one of the racks to prevent it from leaving droplets all over the floor. You wiped your face and your glasses, trying to look a bit more presentable before heading to the counter and collecting the pamphlets.

“Um excuse me?” You called to the man behind the register.

“I’m y/n-chan, and I’m looking for Yamada-san,” you spoke softly.

“Hm?” The man slowly turns to you and adjusts his glasses to see you better. “I’m Yamada, what can I do for you?”

“Oh, Yamada-san, my classmate by the name of Asano placed an order here about a few days ago, I came here to pick it up,” you said as you hand him the receipt as a proof of the ordered pamphlets and flyers the other day.

The man took a while reading all the contents of the receipt as he squint his eyes to see it better before heading back out to get the prints for you.

When he returned back, you immediately checked on the the pamphlets and flyers that are neatly stacked and covered in paper. It has always been your habit to double-check since it’s a waste of time to do things twice, especially in this kind of weather.

Unpacking the pile, you looked at the promos checking if the print quality is good and if the contents are correct. You’ve turned each print slowly, careful not to crumple nor fold them.

Upon the completion of checking the first batch, you’re almost halfway through, and all you have to ensure is that the flyers are of the same quality. However, upon opening the stack, you have found a completely different promo material endorsing a new okonomiyaki store that’s going to open a few blocks away.

Noticing the seemingly switch of prints, you start to approach Mr. Yamada and alerted him that he must have given you the wrong stack.

“Oh, is that so? But that’s the only pre-printed order that has been prepared for today,” he says with a worried look on his face.

“Can we just approach the store that must have gotten our orders instead?” You suggest to him with a soft smile, trying to hide the slight panic that’s creeping up on you for the possibility that you’d go back empty-handed.

“We can do that,” he said scratching his chin. “But you’d have to wait y/n-chan, I’ll still have to call all of the stores who have picked up their orders today, and with this rain, it’s impossible to safely transfer piles of paper,” he warns you.

“O-oh, is that so?” You said scratching the back of your neck. “That’s fine! I can just wait here,” you said back.

You need all the time away anyway, waiting here is not so bad.

4:11 pm — by the time Baji has arrived at the 3rd district he already looks like a mess.

His hair disheveled — black locks dangling in front of his forehead already soaked in water. His trousers and his blazer are mapped with water droplets everywhere, and his legs are about to give out --not that he minds though.

He tried to make another stop before locating you.

In a pet store he’s came across, he entered and started scanning the pets displayed from the glass wall and dialed your number on his phone.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

Please pick up the phone. Please pick up the phone.

But there is no answer from the other line. All that’s Baji has heard so far was the operator telling him that the other line is busy or unattended for god knows how many times.

Goddammit.

4:13 pm — While you were waiting for the owner to contact the other customers, you tried your best to dry yourself inside the store. So you didn’t actually notice that you’ve been having tons and tons of missed calls.

You actually forgot to message your friends that you’re going back on a much later time, and that the rain today seems to be unforgiving. You’re so fixated in trying to get your mind off of what happened earlier that you convinced yourself that it is interesting enough to look throughout the store.

Magazines, newspapers, posters --you’re looking at all the samples and displays one by one. You started to get engulfed into inspecting them. Pictures after pictures, your favorite artist and idols are even featured in some one them. No wonder why you almost yelped when a special ringtone suddenly rang.

Just like you were pulled back into reality, you scurried to search for your phone that you’ve shoved in either of your pockets.

“Hello mom?” You asked nervously, she usually doesn’t call you all that much and you’re scared that she might be worried that you’re not home yet.

“Yeah I’m at the 3rd district. Why?”

“Draken told you?”

“Oh okay. I’m sorry mom. I’ll update them,”

“Yeah. I will.”

“You take care too,”

“Bye. Lov—,”

Your call was cut short when you noticed that your mom's line was suddenly cut off.

Your eyes wandered on the upper right corner on your phone only to see the signal fleeting. That must have been the cause why the call was suddenly dropped.

When you close your phone you were surprised by a ton of notifications reading almost over 30 missed calls from whoever.

Shit.

You know you have promised Draken and Mikey to be with them after class, they are now worried sick that the rain is this hard and you’re all alone.

You have to call them back.

But as just when you are about to dial their numbers, your phone rang and you mindlessly put the phone over your ear and hurried outside to catch some signal.

Despite the rain persisting, Baji is so desperate to see you right now. He didn’t come this far just to go back home and have another yet unresolved conflict with you.

Still damp from the rain and cold with the wind, Baji didn’t mind trudging the sidewalk to find that goddamned printshop.

Umbrella on one hand and phone in the other, he hadn’t stopped calling you the moment he’s left the pet shop.

Please pick up the phone.

Without minding his surroundings, he was just continuously walking reading all lit up signs, searching for the one that reads a printshop.

He doesn't care how hard the rain is pouring, he doesn't mind if he has to search for the entire district just to get to you.

He needs to see you.

Buried in his own thoughts of you, he suddenly ran into something.

"Shit!" his phone flew a few steps away when something coming from his right suddenly hit him.

"Can you fucking look where you're going?!" he is mad, but he is also frustrated at the same time as he hurriedly chase after his phone.

"I swear, if I fucking lose her, then I don't know wh--" fear can be traced in his voice, and he suddenly turns his head to the roadblock he's hit earlier.

"B-baji.." you said, standing in front of the printshop, phone over one ear, and mouth agape.

You can hear your voices echo through the phone call.

Oh it's him.

Dropping his demeanor from the earlier interaction, you could swear that everything happened in the blink of an eye.

Your cold shoulders from the pouring rain is suddenly enveloped in a warm embrace, his arms wrapped around your torso as you rest your head on his chest.

His heart now beating like a drum, and you were suddenly pulled back into the night he sent you home. When your arms was around him, maybe this is the exact same thing he's felt when your chest was pressed against his back --holding on for your dear life.

Your eyes wide open, still processing everything that's happening. Just a few hours ago you left him alone in the rooftop because he doesn't feel the same way right? How did you end up like this?

"I thought I'm gonna lose you," Baji says in a solemn voice, muffled as his lips press onto the top of your head.

"H-huh?" you spoke softly to him, but you cannot lie that you were caught off-guard by what he said.

You slowly backed a little to give some space between the two of you and you looked him in the eye, your face plastered with a confused look.

"What?" you asked again to make out something of the situation, and your voice is full of disbelief.

"I'm here to see you," Baji said without holding anything back.

"B-but.." you can feel your lips tremble unsure of what to feel.

"Y/n.." he stepped closer to you, and placed both hands in either one of your shoulders.

"Listen to me," Baji says looking directly at you, but you couldn't dare to meet his eyes. You let yours stick to the ground.

"But I said, you didn't have to say--"

And he cuts you off.

"No. Not this again. I came here to speak to ya. I'm not gonna go away with even a word left unsaid,"

You could feel that his grip is starting to put a pressure around your shoulders, but it wasn't meant to hurt you. It's as if he is trying desperately holding onto something that's slipping away.

You could feel that you're about to melt down any time soon, so you mustered up your courage to say the next few lines to him.

"No Baji. No. You do not have to look at me like a pity party. You do not owe me anything. Not even an explanation." you look at him with a sharp gaze to feign madness over frustration and confusion all at the same time.

"You don't--" you took a pause, and the words just came spilling out of your mouth

"What the fuck do you not get Baji Keisuke?!" you look at him as you grip your hair down.

"I loved you, okay?" your eyes now teary and your hand waving in a motion. "No, no, no, no, no, no. Scratch that. I still love you."

"But how many times do you want me to profess my goddamned love for you only for you to say nothing back!" you look intently at him as if begging for an answer.

There was a moment of silence between the two of you.

"I'm done, I'm through," you said at him, shaking your head and you turned your back on him.

"Not this again!" his whines as he stomped his feet on the puddle, was enough to make you look back at him.

"See? Y/n, I have been looking for ya the whole day. And why is it that every time I want to talk to ya it always ends up like this?! Ya say everything you want and I get to say nothin'!" he was looking at you with eyes wide, asking for you to listen to him .

"Oh?" you said sarcastically.

"Then what do you have to say for yourself then?" you provoked him but tears are already pricking your eyes.

He let out a sigh and started slowly.

"I'm sorry that I've always picked on ya, didn't know how to strike up a conversation,"

"I'm sorry I pretended not to hear what ya said when I gave you a ride home, I just can't think of words that could match yours,"

"I'm sorry if you think you've made a fool of yourself every time you've confessed to me,"

He took a moment to pause

"And I've heard each one of them, loud and clear"

You've felt your heart skip a beat.

"I--" Baji for nth time, searched and searched and searched for the right words to say.

In fact, he realized that he does not have to say a lot. He only needs a few words.

He gulped, took a deep breath, and made an unbreakable eye contact with you.

"I love you,"

And it was the moment you swear you're about to go out of your mind.

Doodles!

Alright so here are the doodles of the role play I did with @help-im-a-gay-fish

I tried to blur out the text and other things but I just didn’t like how it looked

So I ended up cutting it into different parts and decided to write the dialogue underneath each section

I also added numbers to which area I’d like you to read/ focus on because since they were doodles I didn’t care for the order but well I tried my best and I hope it makes sense!

Because tumblr is dumb I can only post 10 images at one time so I will reblog the full images shortly after this post <3

Ok so for the doodles to make sense I guess I should give a little insight.

So gayfish and I came up with a headcanon. It’s based off of Gayfish’s headcanon that Nightmare and Killer fought a lot and had breaks that could last months. At some point Killer got involved with someone who got super possessive and started to blackmail Killer into being with them even though Killer was in a happy relationship with Ccino and Nightmare. So he’s been trying to sneak around until finally he gets caught by nightmare.

I might have forgotten something but I will correct it when gayfish sees this as well so they can let me know

1.) Nightmare: Killer you’ve been acting strange recently... sneaking around... and how you are around your phone... Spill it something is up

*Killer’s slips his phone into his pocket but there’s a notification that Killer had received a new message*

2.) Killer: Nothing Nightlight... I swear...

*Nightmare notices that Killer obviously and suspiciously hid his phone*

3.) Nightmare: .....

4.) Nightmare: Show me your phone.

5.) Killer: No, it’s my phone you have your own

6.) Nightmare: Are... are you hiding something from us..?

*Killer’s phone buzzes*

7.) Killer: No, you need to stop being so worried. Don’t you trust me?

8.)Nightmare: Killer... you’re making it very difficult to trust you right now... all this... *realization hits*

9.) Nightmare: Oh stars please... killer... don’t tell me...

10.) Killer: Don’t tell you?

11.) Nightmare: I went poly for you... you said that’s what you needed...

Killer: Please listen to me... You have to trust me... Please Nightingale?

12.) Nightmare: Stop calling me that!!!

13.) Nightmare: You know what? I’m honestly not surprised. But I can’t believe you’d do this to Ccino! I finally warm up to him and you go and f*cking around? Seriously..!?

14.) Nightmare: .......

You know what? I might’ve believed you if you said Ccino messaged you.... but the thing is... you didn’t... you didn’t say that... So it’s not him.... is it..?

15.) Killer: ...... it..... it’s not.....

But Nightli- Nightmare it’s not what you think

16.) Nightmare: not what I think..?

Then what am I supposed to think Killer!? Because you’re not telling me a damn thing! What am I supposed to think?

17.) Nightmare: What am I.... what am I going to tell Ccino.. Killer..?

18.) Killer: Wait Nightmare please! Wait... listen it’s really not

Then talk to me! What else am I supposed to think?

20.) Nightmare: You’ve been acting strange for days. Sneaking around, hiding your phone... Hell I’m sure Ccino’s noticed too!

22.) Nightmare: Killer.... please.... I want to help...

23.) Killer: .......

*slips phone out*

..... y-you’ll hate me... you’ll be disappointed and disgusted

24.) Nightmare: You don’t know that... just give me a chance... please....

I’m sure it’s not that bad...

25.) Nightmare:......... *He is reading messages*

26.) *Nightmare’s sockets go dark*

27.) Nightmare: ....... *Hands phone back to Killer*

Killer: ......

28.) Killer *avoids eyes* Its someone I used to see when we were on long breaks...

But they got a bit possessive... and not in a cute way like you

29.) *Nightmare let’s out a breathe*

*Slap*

Nightmare: Thats for being an ass and making me worry...

30.) Nightmare: But Im glad I was wrong this time...

31.) Nightmare: I can see how they’re a problem

32.) Nightmare: I’m pretty sure what they’re doing is illegal...

It’s basically extortion. We need to get the cops involved.

That’s the end of the doodles! As I said in a previous post this would have been the first time they confused because I agree with @help-im-a-gay-fish idea that Killer and Nightmare were never good with love and even if they realized they did love each other they never outright said it until now
