general hcs for aftg zombie apocalypse? me i think kevin would try to be leader but unfortunately no one would listen to him/take him seriously :(

now i think if we’re talking like a few years into the apocalypse then it gets interesting like how the characters would change physically like….and what weapons would they use!! they’d def run into people who use exy rackets as weapons and kevin would be disgusted with them i think.

SUCH A FUN ASK THANK YOUUUUUUU! first of all your idea for kevin is so funny i have to concede. its true no one would care for him at all even if he tries.... honestly though (thinking hard) i think what kevin lacks in leader charisma he makes up for in the department of giving the rest of the group a Reason To Live and creating schedule and purpose where there is neither, so maybe he ummm...... well he's not gonna be the leader of the pack but he can be like the mascot. the shiny thing to cling to. you know what i mean. kevin's indomitable human spirit!

not to be guy who is kandreil pilled but i do think kevin would be very important for andrew and neil to live beyond the survival! i will put a dollar in the kevin day bird motif jar for this but in a way hed be like their little canary in a coal mine... while the crew travels i think kevin would be the one to point out the scenery or the bits of history along or to go over peoples houses and find pieces of life that are useful and maybe even endearing. and yeah hed hate the racquets as weapons! the complaining and the grumbling about it is not as annoying as andreil thought it would be (they are pleasantly surprised kevin still has it in him to care about anything)

AHHH sorry u asked for fun hcs and i gave you a long poem about kevin day being everyones special little boy lets see hmmm... of course andrew has the knives but i think he would eventually pick up something more violent as the world falls deeper in despair. a mallet perhaps? a hammer? something heavy! neil would i think do well with a gun and not actual hand to hand combat, sniping behind them....... i think kevin would also have a weapon of sorts something like a switchblade or a baseball bat. non-lethal but definitely harmful

Thinking about kevin being the platonic third person in the relationship of not just andreil but also jerejean like andrew ships kevin off to usc when he wants just one fckn weekend off the court and kevin has the time of his life there with jerejean and they go on little ice cream dates and they teach jeremy french. Kevin and jean learn to love each other for real and not just in desperation to survive and they all laugh and go over precision drills that jeremy passes along to his team and then when andreil pick kevin up on sunday night and he's all like that was fun now exy and neil is practically vibrating with excitement but andrew just rolls his eyes and indulges them both anyways but the main point of all this the only thing im saying is they all love kevin so much bc its what he deserves

Ok I also wanted to talk about this fora while; in a lot of fics people tend to really I don't know the right word but basically they make andreil a lot weaker? Like its common how if Neil is a raven then Andrew will be significantly weak; with knifes etc,or either Andrew will be a total badass and Neil will be the opposite; can't both of them be strong since they are stronger than each other in certain aspect but it's my pet peeve when Andrew who is canonicly intellegent and decent fighter with crazy reflexes be reduced into useless knife swinging and holding it wrong; or Neil who definitely knows how to hurt someone but also asked Matt to teach him how to box and homeboy; the OG SHIT STARTER; immediately yeeted out of the way once Kevin got up when he insulted him! don't get me wrong I like when aspect is done right but a lot of times I don't understand why one of them has to weaker than the other.

"You still can't carry me," Andrew said. Neil chirped.

"Carry," it said. Andrew heaved a breath.

"You know what? Fine. But if you sting me too much I'm not doing it."

Neil seemed pleased as Andrew let himself drift down, hesitating before he touched Neil's skin. This was foreign. He'd never slept on anyone's chest before, but he wouldn't be able to hang onto Neil in his sleep. Not like he could Aaron. So Neil would have to hang onto him.

Its skin was only a little textured, mostly slippery soft under Andrew's. The bell especially was pillowy and giving, doing almost nothing to support Andrew's tail but it was something. Neil's body held up Andrew's with only a little sinking. Its arms wrapped around Andrew's shoulders as Andrew linked his own around Neil's middle. Neil's claws pressed lightly against his back. Carefully, Andrew rested his head high on Neil's chest and felt its heartbeat under his cheek.

It must not have been a long sleep, but Andrew never once was jolted from it. He didn't feel vaguely panicky like he did when he slept on his own. He slept soundly through the time Neil gave him, and when Neil chirped to wake him, Andrew felt a little better.
