#its been a tough year i dont think anyone can dispute that

     “ If I may say a few words. ” It’s impressive how strong his voice can be if he so wishes, surpassing most of the accumulating chatter across the tavern and silencing it gradually. Though it’s a bit of a spontaneous speech, it seems the best moment to give it, now that so many patrons are coming in for a night of celebration while others are getting ready to leave to attend their own.

     “ First and foremost, I’d like to thank each of you for supporting this establishment, whether on a regular basis or for the single drink a year you currently have in hand. As you all know, every single coin of Mora spent here partly finances the order that keeps our country safe. The importance of your contribution, no matter how small, cannot be overstated. ” A small nod at the few Knights of Favonius present. A mandatory mention, however unpleasant. 

     “ That being said, I imagine none of you are here specifically to fund our defenders. And I don’t blame you. ” Clears throat. “ Whether you are on your way out or just arriving, you are here for festivities, for today is cause for celebration. Celebration for home and family, celebration for making it through the year and for gearing up to support one another through the cold season. A sweet holiday for most, bitter for an unlucky few, and a mix of both for others. ”

     “ It’s important to keep in mind that your home needs not be the house you grew up in,  nor your family those who share your blood. Home and family need only be the sentiment of what feels right, where you feel you belong and who you feel you belong with. Whether you can indulge in them for the holidays or have to make-do with a different situation, make sure they are aware of how they matter to you so that the point of these revels is not forgotten. ” 

     A short pause - some might say hesitation. “ ...And remember that whoever you are, wherever you come from, so long as you have an open mind and honest motives, you are always welcome in the city of freedom. ”

     A glass is raised; the same cherry-red sweet drink with sprinkled ice around the rim that has been distributed to all those attending. “ To your loved ones, and may the thousand winds of Mondstadt watch over them, and guide them home if need be. ” A sip and a nod. “ Please enjoy your evening. ”

#⌈ ✮ ic ⌋ #me ? being sappy on main ? its more likely than you think #its been a tough year i dont think anyone can dispute that #and whether you do celebrate holidays or not i sincerely hope this last week is enjoyable for you #and i hope you get to share some of it with the people who brighten your days #whether thats your family; your friends; or even just online acquaintances #home is where the heart is !! and i know its a cheesy overused saying but so true and too often dismissed #anyway i do need to arrive to a point eventually #christmas was cancelled here because we're on full lockdown at the moment #but im very lucky. because i live alone im allowed to join another household for one (1) day for mental health reasons #and today is that day so i am seeing my family #which i almost lost at the beginning of the year in that i really thought i wouldnt holidays with them again #theyre still. you know. vague hand gestures at how family can be. but im glad i have them #what im trying to say is #life doesnt have to be perfect to be grateful for what you got #be kind and honest with yourself. accept that you may very well deserve better than what you got #but still take the time to be thankful for every little thing that does make you happy #thats all we're asking

Who was the last female you hung out with? my coworker nici. my room didnt have that many kids and didnt need two teachers so i was able to work with her today which was nice for a change

How many keys are on your key chain? What do they go to? house key, apartment building key, apartment door, mailbox, car keys so 5

What were you doing the last time 7pm rolled around? cooking dinner which was fried noodles with poached eggs

Have you ever taken a pregnancy test? nope. my idiot self thought i had to one time. haha

Does your ex still think about you? i dont think so

What is something that always makes you feel pretty? when my hair is done, make up is done well, and a good outfit

Does the thought of moving out from home scare you? it depends on how far from here. i dont mind if it’s not more than 6 hours away

Do you think you’ll be married by then? i’ll be 27. according to my younger self’s plans, i thought i’d be married by 26 and kids at 28. at this point, i just hope i’d be engaged by 27. just waiting for the boyfriend to finish school and for the both of us to save up. haha

When is the next time you’re going on vacation? not for a loooong time cause of this crazy pandemic

When was the last time you were stung by a bee and what kind was it? i think i was like 13? just a regular bee. i remember it fly between my foot and my sandal while i was walking and i stepped my foot down and it stung me!

Do you know anyone personally who had their house burn down before? my boyfriend’s brother and their family’s house caught on fire from an electrical fire

Do you think the media can further manipulate our teenagers anymore? oh goodness yes. especially in todays time where its normal for every singe teenager to have a phone

Do you think you’ll make a good parent? i sure hope so. i think i’d do a decent job with discipling and teaching when theyre young but teenage years kinda scare me.
