Interviews Regarding 456, and the possibility of AAI ports and AA7.
Recently, a bunch of interviews with the producer of the upcoming Ace Attorney 456 collection, Kenichi Hashimoto, have been released. Most of these are in Japanese, discussing various elements of the upcoming ports, including new features like the Orchestra Hall and Story Mode, but a few bring up some interesting future directions for the series, including the possibility of an AA4 anime or live-action drama, AAI2 ports, and AA7. As well, some discuss the influence of overseas sales on the current direction of the series.
**Please keep in mind that most of these interviews (with one exception) were originally in Japanese, and translated with google translate (with some possibly inaccurate modifications by me). As a result, the validity of the translation may be unreliable.**
From Gamer, regarding overseas fans and the increase in sales overseas:
--What kind of opinions and fan base do you get from overseas about the "Ace Attorney" series?
Hashimoto: The “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy” was released in 2019, and the number of users and sales have increased significantly in regions such as North America, Europe, and Asia.
--With the exception of "Ace Attorney Investigations," I think all numbered titles in the "Ace Attorney" series can now be played on current consoles. Was this possible because of the great response to the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy?
Hashimoto: Yes. As I mentioned earlier, it has been well received in North America, Europe, and Asia, and the number of users has increased, and of course there are people asking, "Why are 1, 2, and 3 available but not 4?" So I thought I had to do something about it.
Also, I wanted users to see games 4, 5, and 6, which are now playable on current consoles, so I was able to develop and release them. I think again that it is a very happy thing.
From this Famitsu Interview, regarding the future of the series:
--In 2023, there were musicals and readings of "The Great Ace Attorney", but I'm also curious about the future development of the "Ace Attorney" series.
Hashimoto: After the 20th anniversary of the Ace Attorney series, I would like to prepare various things for the 25th anniversary. The same goes for orchestral concerts, and I'd also like to do plays, musicals, and anime.
The TV anime was made up to season 2 with Phoenix Wright as the main character, but Apollo has not appeared yet, and since it is a courtroom story, a live-action drama seems interesting.
-- Since ``Ace Attorney'' was made into a movie once, there is a possibility of a live-action drama as well.
Hashimoto: That's right. However, it's not like my dreams will come true right away... I hope all the fans of "Ace Attorney'' can look forward to it while imagining the various possibilities in the future.
From IGN Japan:
--What are your plans for the future of the series? Could you please tell me about the possibility of ports of the "Ace Attorney Investigations" series, or another mainline entry?
Unfortunately, as far as I can tell you, there is nothing. However, we have no intention of ending the "Ace Attorney" series here, and we would like to see the series grow older, reaching its 25th anniversary in 2026 and its 30th anniversary in 2031. I don't know when or what I'll be able to announce, but please stay tuned for more information.
--If there were to be a new work such as ``Ace Attorney 7,'' what kind of thing would you want?
It's difficult to balance making a work that fans of the series can enjoy while also making it a work that new players can enjoy, but it is necessary to have the charm that is common to the entire "Ace Attorney" series. This includes the story, the characters, the puzzles, the tempo. These four will be essential for "Ace Attorney."
And finally from Siliconera about the news I've been waiting my whole life for -- this interview was actually published in English!
With so many Ace Attorney collections out now and games released, how would you feel about an Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth collection that includes localization of the second game?
Hashimoto: The development team is aware that fans are hoping for this. Unfortunately, we have no announcements at this time.
Most of this is of course corporate speak of not being able to confirm or deny anything, but this is the closest we've gotten to confirmation that AAI2 might be localized so far. As well, it does sound like the series is doing well, particularly overseas, which is encouraging for people hoping for more. It definitely doesn't sound like they think the series is dead yet!

The Unknown Regions II
A Din Djarin x Fem Plus Size Reader Fic
Tumblr media
Summary: You, a soft astrophysicist, meet the hardened Mandalorian in less-than-ideal circumstances.
Read Chapter 1 | Read Chapter 3
Warnings: Expect conversations about weight, body dysmorphia and internalised fatphobia that may be triggering, so read at your own discretion; injuries and blood; canon typical violence; reader is AFAB and user she/her pronouns; no use of y/n; smut to come in next chapters; porn with plot; plot with porn; Din Djarin need a hug and a fuck.
Word count: 1,392
A/N: This is a shorter chapter where we learn a bit more about your job (watch me make up things about astronomy lol), which will be handy for our little adventure with Din. The hot speeder bike ride was 100% inspired by @djarins-cyare fic, Be-All and Endor! This fic is just everything I could ask, just so detailed and thorough, I really recommend it to you! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, sorry if Mando is too gruff but I try to keep him in character, don’t worry, he’ll warm up later. ;)
🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐
You went through your notes again, looking for the data you had gathered previously. If your calculations were correct, you were one step closer to mapping the Unknown Regions. Studying the orbit of this planet had been a difficult assignment. It seemed to elude you every time you were close. But today, you could say that finally, its coordinates were finally revealed. Jumping from your desk, you rushed to discuss your discoveries with your supervisor.
The older, Rodian female, was working on gathering the info the radio antennas were providing. The purpose of the observatory, funded by the New Republic, was to map the mysterious regions beyond the Outer Rim, popularly known as Wild Space. In the year since its foundation, your team had located the system you were currently studying and successfully calculated the orbits and characteristics of its two stars.
Your Rodian supervisor, Dr. Vala, took her time to look through all the data you'd gathered after inserting the disk into her computer. You shifted your weight and played with your hands nervously.
"It looks like everything makes sense." She said after a while, smiling at you proudly. “I’ll discuss sending the first space probe with the engineering team in the next meeting.”
You mirrored her expression feeling a bit shy, but the truth was that you were over the moon. Receiving praise from someone like Dr. Vala couldn't be taken for granted, and the prospect of having a probe sent to the planet you were studying was exciting. All your dreams were coming true. This would be the best day of your life if the pressing matter of the bleeding Mandalorian wasn’t making you kriffing anxious.
“Would you mind if I left early today, Doctor? I haven’t been feeling very well.”
Dr. Vala sent you home immediately, knowing how you had been overworking yourself. You thanked her and after gathering your possessions went to the hangar where one of the landspeeders that transported the workers from the compound was parked. After providing the droid with your employee code, the vehicle started the trip. The ball of anxiety that had been growing in your belly grew with every klick of desert you covered. He probably had left already and you were worrying for nothing like an idiot. But what if?
You arrived at home covered in sand and rapidly discarded the goggles and cape that you used for protection. Entering the main room cautiously, you didn’t notice you were holding your breath.
“Mando? Are you still there?” You asked in a small voice.”I brought food and medical supplies…” The bag against your hip was full of some rations and medicine you managed to grab from your workplace before leaving. A mix of fear and excitement was boiling inside of you, hoping that he hadn’t left. You advanced two more steps when something very shiny dazzled your eyes. Confused, you brought your hand to your face in pain.
“Uh…sorry.” A gruff voice apologized from the main room.”I was about to leave…”
Your heart jumped inside of your chest. He sounded exhausted and sad but it was better than before you left. The bright light moved and then you could see the source of it. The warrior, in his full, polished armor, was reflecting the light from Tatooine’s twin suns like a star. It was such a beautiful scene to look at. He was standing there like an ancient statue finishing with placing one of his pauldrons. You swallowed hard. Was this man the same person that bled out on your carpet?
“Are you feeling better?” You asked fidgeting with the end of your sleeve. It looked like you were the guest and this was his house instead of yours. Your eyes couldn’t stop registering every detail of his appearance, from his width to how well that ammo belt hugged his hips. Maker, you were in need of a good lay.
He just nodded and then approached you. You could smell your soap and his characteristic scent under it. He then grabbed your hand with his gloved one and blood rushed to your cheeks. The sound of credits took you out of your trance.
“The carpet.” It was the only explanation he provided, and when he noticed that you weren’t moving, he squeezed himself between you and the doorframe.
What was the problem with this man?
“Wait!” You managed to unfreeze and catch him before he actually left. Even though he tried to hide it, his limp was obvious. He didn’t turn but stopped walking. “We’re in the middle of nowhere and I haven’t seen any ships close.” The question floated in the dry air, and you could see how his shoulders dropped infinitesimally.
“It won’t be the first time I walk through this desert.” He responded cockily and shifted his weight, this time turning the helmet slightly to you.
You rolled your eyes and sighed, and then grabbed your goggles and cape again.
“Come on, I have my speeder bike in the compound’s hangar.” He fully turned to face you then, tilting his head to one side, probably balancing his options. “You want to find your son, don't you? Well, you won’t be of any use to him bleeding dry among the dunes.” Now it was his turn to sigh. He surrendered to your offer, nodding in response. You smiled and closed the door, having already put on your gear plus your little blaster. Everybody knew that venturing to the desert unarmed was insane.
The warrior followed you obediently to the hangar, where you provided your credentials to the security team to open the gates for you.
“I haven't asked you, is it okay if I call you Mando? I accidentally heard the man from the holo doing it, I’m sorry.” You asked while you put your riding gloves on. Riding was something you loved, and it was important for you to keep the bike and your accessories in good shape, so your speeder was in perfect condition for the trip through the dunes. You climbed its leather seat and sat comfortably. He just stood there like a statue. “I wanted to apologize too for trying to remove your helmet.”
“No offense taken.” He responded after flexing his gloved hand a couple of times. He looked kriffing tense, but you would too in his situation. You smiled in relief and put your helmet on. He took the cue and sat behind you. To anyone watching the scene, it had to look ridiculous as hell, but the only thing in your head was how Mando felt behind you and how you were going to focus on driving. You swallowed and started the bike, maneuvering it outside of the hangar.
“Where are we headed?” You asked, trying to sound confident. Mando looked like he hadn’t made a decision about the best place for his hands.
“Mos Eisley, Hangar 3-5.” He provided, and you thanked your past self for the food you had stolen from your workplace. That would make a long ride. You inserted the city’s coordinates in the nav computer and placed your boot on the accelerator. But your copilot still looked hesitant about where to get a hold of.
You sighed exasperated and in a bold move, you took a grip of his hands and put them around your waist. It was notorious how Mando went rigid instantly as if he had been struck by a bolt. Kark, he looked like a seasoned warrior, why would he be so tense about sharing a speeder bike with a woman? Nevertheless, you were no seasoned anything so you allowed yourself to be flustered when he finally grabbed your waist with determination. It was only a second that the malignant thought of how he’d find your soft curves disgusting. Your waist wasn’t tiny by any means, and in this position your belly flexed forming some rolls. You were flustered now but for other motives.
But Mando’s huge hand just grabbed you tighter and with a confidence that had been absent before, making you jump in your seat.
“Are you…are you comfortable like this?” He asked unexpectedly in a gentle voice. You clenched your hands around the bike handles, making the leather of the gloves crack.
“Yes, just hold tight.” And oh Maker, that grip would have you daydreaming for the whole journey.

Hi there friend, sorry it’s been a while, life has been busy. A question about AUs, since this is something I’m currently exploring:
If you were to create an Alternate Universe of your setting, what kind of setting would it be? What changes would you make for you characters to fit?
Tumblr media
Hi Aqua (@aquadestinyswriting), thank you for this thought-provoking ask! And no worries <3 Life is life, and it gets us all! I'm always psyched to see you on my blog. To the moots, if you aren't familiar with the fantastic Aqua yet and/or you love the Titan Fighting Fantasy universe, go check out her Writeblr Masterpost for a complete overview of all her projects!
This is the question of the moment for The Sorcerer's Apprentice as I'm currently redesigning the universe. You couldn't have hit the nail more squarely on the head!! Previously, the story had been set in (1) a heavily UK-inspired high-fantasy macrocosm (á la Game of Thrones) and (2) a modern-day psychological horror version of a NYC Fifth Avenue apartment (á la Rosemary's Baby). In these previous universes, Valeriano and Altaluna were, respectively, a King and his heir, and an elderly socialite and his heir. However, since both these settings and their associated character roles eventually chafed against what I was looking to achieve with the story (aka. an exploration of the link between capitalism, colonialism, racism, and environmental disaster), I decided that this time I'd abandon all familiar formulas and rebuild the world from the ground up to highlight the broader social tensions that underlie Valeriano and Altaluna's relationship and, on a meta-narrative level, ensure that the aesthetics of the novel do not in any way reinforce or glorify the issues I'm attempting to criticize.
One of the biggest changes I've made in service of this goal is that I've taken the story completely out of the northern hemisphere. The geography, fauna & flora, religion and culture of the newly minted universe are all based on Colombia and Latin America more generally. In this way, I'm hoping that the novel itself will push back against the idea that our culture and environment are appealing, but only as the setting of a romantic weekend getaway or as the backdrop to a drug and/or human trafficking drama. I want to show that fantasy is possible here, too. That we can dream in our own terms. Furthermore, I want to undermine this general feeling that we (Colombians & Latin Americans more generally) have nothing to be proud of when compared to the US or countries in Europe. By highlighting and praising our architecture, food, natural diversity, and customs my aim is to chip away at that self-deprecating streak and all its associated myths (that we're poor because we're stupid, and lazy because we get too much sun) as much as I can. I would be really happy if my novel could help people see themselves and the world they live in, in a new more positive light...
Of course, this change in the setting/universe means changes for Valeriano and Altaluna as well. It would be tone-deaf to keep Valeriano as a King in a novel that is inspired by a region so heavily marked by the fight for independence from a monarchical society. For this reason, I'm leaning toward keeping the 'socialite' role he played in the Rosemary's Baby edition of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, with a few modifications. I'm actually thinking of using him to show how art can work to perpetuate colonial power (but more on that later! I still need to hash out some details). Similarly, Altaluna will be conserving her 'heir' role from the Rosemary's Baby edition, but with some of the more large-scale social movement/impact she had in the Game of Thrones rendition. If I can successfully adapt both Altaluna and Valeriano to this new universe, then their conflict should expand beyond a family drama into a commentary on the horrors colonialism enacts both on the oppressor and the oppressed (thank you, Discourse on Colonialism by Aime Cesaire for opening my eyes). If I'm really lucky, then maybe I'll be able to test possible solutions, like Babel by R.F. Kuang does (the solution there is violence, which is very Fanon adjacent).
Anyway, who knows. We'll see how it goes!

What we know about Jackdaw so far
(EDIT Jan 21, 2023: This piece has been updated to include a little bit of new information as Jenna Coleman made her first media confirmation of the new movie in her recent Telegraph interview)
So, as Jenna Coleman begins what will hopefully be a successful run in the play Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons (stream please, National Theatre Live) my thoughts turn to a rather mysterious project she was involved in just before Christmas - somehow as she was in the midst of rehearsals for the play. Jackdaw - as the project has been referred, though this may not be the final title - has had only scant regional media coverage and I admit that if not for that scant coverage I would be starting to wonder if this project was real or some sort of nethoax like a certain alleged lost film Tumblr was on about for a while in the fall.
Since there have been numerous posts on the topic here in recent weeks (mostly by @oswincoleman who has done an amazing job keeping track), I thought I’d try and distil what major information is known (or not known) about this film so far. Spoiler break for length.
1. As I said, it is not known if Jackdaw is the official name, or a working title, or some sort of cover title like “Blue Harvest” disguised the filming of Return of the Jedi; but that would have to mean “Jackdaw” is connected to some major enterprise, which it doesn’t appear to be. Although I saw someone ask if maybe this was connected to Sandman coming a few months after its renewal by Netflix (and Netflix allegedly being connected to Jackdaw, not to mention a comics-accurate hair-colour change by Jenna), there’s no sign of any connection to Sandman or any other franchise (Mason Alexander Park of Sandman said the other day they don’t expect to resume filming till the summer); and despite the director having worked on Doctor Who before, there’s been nothing to suggest it’s related in anyway to that either (and they’d be talking Disney+ or BBC not Netflix if it was).
2. As of mid-January, all we have heard about it is from social media posts and a few “what are they filming?”-style stories on local/regional news sites, plus a casting call for extras that was posted in December. Recent major media coverage of Jenna - including about her hair colour change - have made no reference to the project.
3. Jenna herself has only made reference to this production by way of a couple of enigmatic Instagram Stories posts, one showing a motorcycle, another showing camera equipment. According to social media, she filmed her role over the course of about a week or so in mid-December. Despite this, people purporting to be insiders on the production have claimed she has a major role in it. Speculation is she might go back to film more after the play wraps. But social media reports filming on Jackdaw wrapped in mid-January. Filming apparently took place in the north of England, including Hartlepool.
3.5. Interestingly, Jenna has made no reference to the film in recent interviews, including the one with Graham Norton who surely must have been aware of the social media reports if nothing else; even when she was under her NDA for Sandman back in 2021 she was at least still able to acknowledge she was filming “something” recently even if she couldn’t say what. Jackdaw does not seem to something on the scale of a Marvel movie, so I can’t see her not being allowed to at least acknowledge the film - unless maybe the producers of the Lemons play asked her not to, perhaps so as not to take away from the play. To be fair, if you’re promoting a specific event it wouldn’t do to spend the limited time available talking about Jackdaw, Wilderness, Sandman S2, Klokkenluider, War Rooms... right?
5. Who is involved in Jackdaw? Other than Jenna, it appears the lead actor is one Thomas Turgoose, known for the This is England films and TV series in the UK (an unknown to me; he was in one of the Kingsmen films too; I see Jenna also began following him on Instagram at some point). A casting call for a scene suggested Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Jenna’s co-star in the upcoming Wilderness, is also in it but I haven’t seen much more on that. And Jenna reportedly has a stunt double. Personnel from The Sandman are also involved such as the cinematographer as well as the director is reportedly Jamie Childs, Jenna’s current boyfriend who directed her main episode of SM. If reports are accurate it makes this an interesting hybrid of her most recent TV projects.
6. Around the time of filming, as we know, Jenna dyed her hair a bright blonde, a look she debuted at an event she found time to attend just before the holidays. It is not yet known if she did it for the film, for the play (as she’s kept it and yellowish hair for a play called Lemons, etc., makes sense), or both. Or maybe she just decided to go blonde. The fact she’s still dark-haired on the posters for the play suggests it was a decision made after the initial publicity photo shoots for the play were done.
6.5 Surprisingly, Jenna didn’t make an Instagram post about changing her hair colour. Indeed, except for a couple of play-related posts and one set of pics taken while preparing for a pre-blonde event, she was all but radio silent on Instagram during December (she didn’t do a year in review for Instagram Stories either, nor did she post anything related to the event she attended where she unveiled the new hairdo). Which does make sense if she was shooting a movie, commuting, preparing for the play, etc.
7. There’s apparently a rave sequence in the film with police (including apparently riot cops, at least based on the casting call), for which some photos from the set have emerged. Jenna, as noted, apparently has a stunt double possibly related to motorcycle riding?
8. Social media have said this is a film being made for Netflix, but Netflix has yet to make any announcement regarding such a production. Obviously, no hints of a release date have come out (and remembering the long wait for a release on Klokkenluider, scenes for which Jenna filmed 2 years ago, it may be a while). According to the social media reports, this is a feature-length film, not a short, intended for cinemas.
I’m sure I missed a few (and likely made some mistakes too) but these are the major bullet points as I understand them. Despite claims of Jenna having a major role in the show, I’m a little skeptical given how little time she appears to have spent filming (and the fact she squeezed this in while in the midst of rehearsals for the play). The fact we have a pretty clear indication of when she went blonde (between her event in early December with dark hair, followed a couple weeks later by her attending an event with blonde hair), I don’t think it’s a case of her having done more filming earlier that we don’t know about (unless she changes hair colour during the film ).
My gut is telling me it’ll be the same as Klokkenluider, for which Jenna indeed plays a major role but according to reviews does not actually appear throughout the film. In Jackdaw, Jenna could be playing a major role - but one that only involves her in a few scenes. Time will tell. And until or unless someone - production company, one of the actors, Netflix - actually releases some sort of info, we’re stuck for now with speculation, guesswork and Instagram posts.
Update: January 21, 2023: Jenna Coleman was the subject of a major interview with the Daily Telegraph magazine. The article is behind a paywall, but it does confirm that Jenna did film a movie called Jackdaw, dyed her hair for the film, and apparently plays a “pixie punk biker” in the movie. The plot thickens!

Interview with Arc System Works (2023) - Part 1
Tumblr media
Today, we are glad to communicate that Comunidad Arc System Works and Anime Fighting Game Community teamed up once again to bring a new exclusive interview to our followers! Since this interview has too many questions, we will publish it in two different parts so we can share it with all of you sooner. We hope that you enjoy Reading all of the new info that we have to share today, Let’s Rock!
Questions by AFGC:
1. Recently, various fighting games have added new controls and mechanics to not only make each game unique, but to also ease new players into the fighting game genre. However, some of these mechanics disinterest a few fighting game players who wish for more freeform gameplay. What is it like to strike that balance?
Guilty Gear -Strive- Producer: Ken Miyauchi
Our objective here has been to create a new form of "free style" play-feel experience for the players.
One major problem of a running series title is that players of previous titles are able to bring over their experiences directly without need of much adaptation, and that poses as a huge entry barrier for new players who want to join in the scene. With that, our ideal situation would be to create a new, challenging and fair environment for both new and old players, while also keeping the freedom of expression.
We retain the view of simply making the game "simple" or "toned down" would generally make the fighting game lose its appeal over other genres.
2.  This year for Arc System Works has been a huge boon for rollback netcode, with the implementation of it being added to Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and with it releasing soon for Guilty Gear Xrd and Dragon Ball FighterZ. How was the process to add rollback to all these games?
Guilty Gear -Strive- Producer: Ken Miyauchi
We cannot speak on behalf of non-Arc System Works published titles, but at least for in-house titles, the process varies between each project and there are no 2 same projects. Ultimately, it is the positive feedback from players which are definitely motivating us to support rollback netcode, especially after the implementation on Guilty Gear -Strive-.
Tumblr media
3.  For the past two years Arc System Works has been developing the Arc World Tour and Arc Revo. How has it been to develop these tours for an international audience?
Global Marketing Dept. User Community Team Manager: Riku Ozawa
For the past couple of years it has been a tremendously challenging period for events due to COVID-19. We had to factor in the risk of events needing to stop or cancel abruptly, and that greatly hinders our efforts to push for bigger promotions. The other common alternative of doing online events also has its drawback; more often than not, we find it difficult to convey the passion of the competitors to the online audience via streaming.
Tumblr media
4. One of the biggest challenges of the Arc World Tour is trying to get a representation of Arc System Work Communities from around the world. In particular, South America and Africa have always asked for a place on the world stage. Is this something we can see going into future tours?
Global Marketing Dept. User Community Team Manager: Riku Ozawa
Ideally we do wish to have a grand event one day where we can include as many countries as possible, like the World Cup that just ended not too long ago. Moving forward we will be incorporating more regions into the AWT wherever possible.
5. Previous in 2020, there was a going to be a new type of event during the Arc World Tour being the daredevil events, events where people from all over the world can submit their events to be added to the circuit. However, due to the pandemic this and the entire tour had to be changed. Given how offline events are returning is there any hope for daredevil events to return?
Global Marketing Dept. User Community Team Manager: Riku Ozawa
We observed that there are many community-driven tournaments out there despite being a 18-months old game, and we are keen to revive the daredevil campaign too. Stay tuned for more details.
Tumblr media
6. Final question about the tours, in the past we had games such as Blazblue Central Fiction, Guilty Gear Xrd, and Granblue Fantasy Versus all featured on the world tour stage. Is there any chance for these or other previous Arc System Work titles to be included in the tours in the future?
Global Marketing Dept. User Community Team Manager: Riku Ozawa
It is hard for us to incorporate games with less active users into the tour, but for future Arc-organized tournaments such as ARCREVO, perhaps we can have it in the form of a side tournament, where fans can gather and compete together.
7.  To many, Guilty Gear Strive, is one of the best rollback fighting games to date. With the inclusion of that and crossplay coming to the game, can we expect that level of treatment to come to all future ASW games?
Guilty Gear -Strive- Producer: Ken Miyauchi
We hope to maintain (if not better) the quality of the rollback netcode implementation for future ASW fighting games. However, it is much more difficult to say for crossplay, as it heavily depends on the nature and the size of the game.
At the very least, as the producer of GGST, I can safely say if the new project is to be on the same level as "Guilty Gear", then I would certainly like to give it the equal treatment as well.
Tumblr media
8.  As much as we know about Arc System Works, the fighting game company, we know a bit about Arc System Works, the publishing company, can you tell us what is in the works outside the world of Fighting Games?
Global Marketing Dept. Biz Dev / Producer: Zack Tan
We publish many other games besides just fighting games, such as "River City" series (or alternatively known as either "Renegade" or "Kunio-kun"), the "Double Dragon" series and more. Recently we have also released hit-titles "River City Girls" "River City Saga: Three Kingdoms" as well.
Additionally, we have partnered up with other companies to publish several titles locally as a regional project. Some examples include "Aragami 2", "Kitaria Fables", "Fallen Legion" series and many more. The most recent one we have here is "RWBY: Arrowfell", thanks to the great guys over at Rooster Teeth and WayForward for making it possible.
As a development studio, we also have some smaller scale projects around. Our latest game, albeit limited to PS4/5 and Japan only, the "Two-Jong Cell!!", a game where the player plays mahjong with cute anime girls or against online players, with a twist of special skills. We also have "Ground Divers" released on Nintendo Switch within the year too.
CASW’s note: As a fan of Resonance of Fate and Ys as well, I will add that Arc System Works also published the Asian version for Resonance of Fate 4k/HD Edition and Ys Origin in the past (we can find that version in webs like Play Asia). Kitaria Fables, for example, it’s a PQube title that I had the pleasure to translate into Spanish so I wanted to publicy show my hapyness for that chance and seeing that ASW published it in another region is incredible.
Tumblr media
9. One of the biggest challenges of this year was trying to qualify for the Arc World Tour finals you would have to win one of the few qualifiers spots. Is there any consideration for a longer tour with more spots for players to qualify?
Global Marketing Dept. User Community Team Manager: Riku Ozawa
For this year's format, we had hoped to achieve a more exciting feel and raise the tension for each of the qualifier tournaments, where we have limited slots. However, we came to realise that there are many more players around the world with great potential than we had initially expected, over the course of the current tour. For future qualifying tournaments, we do hope to expand the scale.
Note: This questions have been asked last year (11/27/2022), that means that some of them might be outdated.
¡We will publish Part 2 during next week!

Year in Review: Games Part 1
This is a series I've been wanting to do for a while. Whenever I finish a piece of media (books, games, movies, comics, maybe art and music in the future) I jot in down in a doc so I can look back on them at the end of the year. I wanted to write my thoughts on them as I finished them, but since you have to start somewhere, I'll be writing simple reviews in retrospect. This is just for fun, but I welcome any feedback.
Pokemon Scarlet
This game released with some controversy. It was an unfinished glitchy mess with graphics still not up to the standards of the Nintendo Switch six years into its lifespan, but tbh this game was fun as hell to complete. I loved most of all the new designs and managed for the first time in my Pokemon career to actually complete the Dex. I usually get worn down on that pretty quick.
The characters were also much more engaging than the previous generation, especially my best boy Arven. The environments were super fun to explore and I got a new favorite little guy (Slither Wings my beloved). Here's hoping the next game has an actual sane development cycle and we get this amount of creativity in a higher degree of quality with better paid developers.
Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations
If you thought I only played games that came out this year, sorry to disappoint. I don't manage to pick up even half of the blockbusters that pop up annually, and go after older games way more often. That being said, I see why AA fans hold this game up so high. I played the first and second Phoenix Wright games last year (which I won't review since that was too long ago now) and this is a nice cap to the original Trilogy.
You get Phoenix's background as a dorky bisexual art student, Mia's first case as a defense attorney, and an honestly heartbreaking quest for revenge through Godot while never stooping to melodrama. (I love his theme it sounds like the Mother 3 Magypsies). Also unlike the first two games, there were zero "filler" cases. Each one was thoroughly engaging and moved the plot forward in a meaningful way. Though, I don't begrudge the earlier cases that fuck around a lot more.
Pokemon White 2
When the OG Black and White came out, I was in the "everything new is lame" stage of adolescence, so when the sequels came out I didn't even bother. Turns out I was the lame one for doing so! In hindsight, Pokemon seemed to reach something of a peak with Gen 5 in terms of graphics and gameplay, and would seek to experiment with new artstyles and gimmicks for the next (looks at watch) 11 years damn.
With the first Black and White, it focused on remodeling classic Pokemon designs and gameplay into something new and modern, and these games add back in most of those classic Mons. The plot is also very action-packed and engaging, and gives a satisfying epilogue for a lot of the characters from the first games. You get to see how the region has changed after 3 years and even get to explore some new parts of Unova, similar to how the Gen 2 games handled Kanto. I hope Gamefreak does something like this again in the future.
Kingdom Hearts: Re:Coded
Prepare for a deluge of this series, and not in any conceivable order. Kingdom Hearts took over my heart, mind, and body Xehanort style for the better half of the year. This title is known for a fun variety of gameplay and an absolute dogshit story. I wouldn't really agree. The game switches up its playstyle pretty frequently, including side-scrolling platforming, railshooting, and turn-based combat but for the most part its classic hack-and-slash 3D platforming that feels kind of grindy, but there's multiple unlockable difficulty sliders that you can use to switch it up if you get bored.
Storywise, there's not a lot for newcomers and if you want to play through all the games as one overarching narrative, I wouldn't blame you for skipping this one. However, if you're already a fan of Sora and Riku's relationship, this has quite a bit for someone to dig their teeth into. The world's are all recycled from KH1, making this one of the two games where you can actually explore Destiny Islands, but they all feel pretty downgraded. The endgame gave me a headache.
Kingdom Hearts
Our best boy's first big boot step into adventure. I watched all of the KH cutscenes for all of the games during a particularly dry season of lockdown, so this was my first foray into the original. The story genuinely holds up to a surprising degree, leaning into the Disney elements more than its Squaresoft side for probably the last time in the series. Its really good groundwork for Sora's introduction as a hero, I especially love the assertion towards the end that it is Sora's choice to help others that makes him worthy of the Keyblade and not destiny. Its a theme that would be both muddied and compounded upon later in the series in a pretty interesting way.
I was almost astonished at how in-depth all of the worlds are, especially Traverse Town. There are a lot more little Disney references and sidequests, like the 101 Dalmation quest, that help the worlds all feel a bit more lively. Also NPCs, which later in the series would become a rare gift. I fucked up on the combat. Did not learn how to do spell shortcuts until midway through KH2. Despite that, it was still fun to wack Heartless with my keyblades six different ways, and it makes me excited to replay it at some point.
Kingdom Hearts II
This is the big boy that every KH fan loves to absolute death. Chain of Memories had already started the series tradition of experimental storytelling, but the mainline sequel takes it to an fascinating and well-executed degree. For the first three hours you are forced into playing a new protagonist with zero context and near zero Disney shit. Vivi is there though and we love him for that. Later on we would see this prologue as the tragic conclusion of another entry in the series, but its initial presence here is jarring in a way you have to piece together throughout the rest of the main game. It would also introduce many of the more headache-inducing plot aspects that are fun to dissect but a pain to explain, such as Nobodies. I see them as ghosts, and no one can tell me otherwise. I wrote a whole absurdist retelling about it.
The worlds are more quantity than quality, I'll be real. About half of them are made up of 4 or 5 flat maps with nothing to do except grind Heartless encounters, (e.g. Mulan.) The other half are a bit meatier but could have benefited from more sidequests and such. You revisit quite a few from KH1 to see how they changed and that's always fun. There's a theme to each of the Disney worlds that add to the narrative, in this title mainly being romance and identity. The identity aspect leans toward the relationship between Sora and Roxas, two separate people who are also one person, while the romance theme hints towards the relationship with Sora and Kairi. Oddly enough, both themes also seem to work towards Sora's quest for Riku, who is in the midst of his own identity crisis while Sora desperately tries to find him. Huh. Interesting.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
This is my favorite Kingdom Hearts game. This was one of the few I was able to play as a teenager and even after all these years I still adore this game to death. It works without knowing anything else about Kingdom Hearts. You don't need to know about Ansems or Nobodies or Time Travel; none of that shit. This is the story of three friends that get torn apart by their own ignorance and one bitter old man on his quest to change the world. Its one story split among three perspectives, and each character you play through the game with you understand the grander narrative. You understand why Aqua's best friend snapped at her, why Terra's little brother is so ready to die. You also get to hear Leonard Nemoy yell "KEYBLADE" in the same cutscene three different times.
I love this game so so much dammit. The combat has a fun collection system where you earn action commands and combine them to make better attacks and healing moves. The worlds in the latter half of the game are also really creative and fun to explore, though you get a limited area to move around in for each character. If you have played previous KH entries, there's a lot of references to make you point at the screen and go "THAS AXEL THAS MY BOY HE'S A LIL GUY HERE." Anyway I'll shut up. Play this game.
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance
Never ask me to explain the plot of this game. They added Inception to Kingdom Hearts and also Time Travel. And the story is mostly told through unlockable backstory cutscenes including the premise. Yes, the introduction to this game's story is an unlockable. Despite this, the story is pretty effective. This is Riku's second time in the spotlight since Reverse/Rebirth, though the game is once again split between him and Sora. It dissects Riku's character arc in a similar way to Re:Coded, except uhh this one isn't a computer simulation, he is a Dream. Completely different. It asserts his desire to continue as Sora's protector, and realizing this it is him who ultimately triumph's over Angst Teen Xehanort, saves Sora and passes the Key Test. He's no longer on his Way to the Dawn. He's in the light. It's sweet.
The worlds in this game are based around vertical movement. There's a new Parkour mechanic that lets you wall-step-flip around basically everywhere, and to compensate this the worlds are Huge. Since they're dreams, that also means they're pretty empty of anything to really do or explore. They are pretty at least. There's also a pokemon mechanic where you collect lil guys. I did not realize this mechanic also determines Riku and Sora's stats until the final boss, which caught me off guard. I see why this is a lot of people's fave KH game of all time, but its a little too busy for me.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
This is an odd one. I first played this game two years ago at college alongside Oracle of Seasons in my spare time. Eventually my phone-I MEAN MY AUTHENTIC GAME BOY COLOR- broke and I thought I lost my save data for both. Turns out I did not and finished through the last few dungeons. This game makes solid use of the time travel mechanic, which is a mix of Ocarina's time travel and Alttp's world jumping. It's fun to jump sporadically between 1000s of years and see the world in different eras. That rock? Used to be slightly over to the left. Would you look at that.
The dungeons had a larger focus on puzzles in comparison with Season's love for combat, which is probably why this is the more beloved twin. Some of the dungeons had me waddling back and forth for too long until I figured out what to do. You can link these games up to get bonus items like the Biggoron's Sword which is fun to complete. After beating both games, you get an extra final boss against Ganon and a scene hinting towards the beginning of Link's Awakening, which is a nice touch. And then Nintendo declared them two separate Links, for some reason. Beh.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Oh hey. One of the most beloved games of all time. I have played through this games more times than I know. Probably around like. 6 times I used to boot this game up and play all the way up to the Forest Temple and then restart for some reason, I don't know how many times I actually got to the end.
Its a game that eases you into its idyllic fantasy world before dropping you headfirst into the apocalypse you inadvertently caused in your quest to destroy evil. Its never a melodramatic game though. Its about the loss of innocence. Maturity. Learning that the evil was always there, before the King of Thieves took over the world, before you were even born. It even came from the place you are trying to protect. But there was always goodness too, there was always light. There are always friends to be found in dark places. The style and presentation are peak. The dungeons are rich in aesthetics and well made puzzles. The time travel mechanic is honestly a bit undercooked. But this game is fantastic. Quintessential Zelda.
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure
I straight-up forgot I played this. Its fun though. Its a relatively short game, but compared to its predecessor, its a huge improvement. The game plays out in stages like the first Four Swords game, but usually in explorable environments, like towns and forests rather than generic volcano and cave themes. You control all Four Links at once, moving them into different formations to move rocks or put fires out. Or you can do it with friends controlling each Link. I did not. :(
I was mainly interested in this games story from a lore perspective. It features the return of Vaati, the Wind Creep who Lova Da Ladies, but with the addition of the Rise of Ganondorf. You are sent to stop him from a wise owl, Ganon allies himself with Deku Scrubs, attacks the Gorons, and is eventually turned into a monster by his own lust for power. It seems more and more like a retelling of Ocarina in a different light. Eh. Maybe I'll write about my Zelda timeline theories in a different post. Not here though
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory
BACK TO KH BABY! This is a rhythm game, so I don't have too much to say. I've never really played any rhythm game before this, and I'm not sure if this one is on par with the more well-known rhythm titles out there, but I had a good time with it. Its great for people who like Kingdom Hearts music, lmao. You have a lot of unlockable character groups to play through the music with and level them up, but once I unlocked the Days trio I didn't really go for the others too much. Xion my beloved.
The story is hilariously shallow, almost insulted considering its Kairi's first solo outing, technically. She's on her quest to learn all the KH lore she missed out on, and eventually finds a repressed memory of a grown adult monologuing at a toddler for fifteen minutes. Also that her boyfriend is alive so that her boyfriend's boyfriend can go save him. Her boyfriend's boyfriend is also her boyfriend. Fight me.
Kingdom Hearts III
People were. So upset when this game came out. Acted like it was the biggest disappointment since the ill-fated economic crisis of '07. Sure, yea, that's a reference. Well this is the first time I've gone into it and I'm here to say this is probably among my favorite KH games of all time. Strong competitor with BBS. A lot of the criticisms of the story and gameplay weren't wrong per-say, but the issues with this game, such a goofy dialogue, bizarre pacing, and over complicated exposition dumps, are problems with the entire series that fans of the series, in my opinion, have come to see as endearing elements of Kingdom Hearts. Its funny to watch the big cloak guy point at Sora and say "Darkness Light Heart Darkness," and see Sora gasp in fear, while also realizing the importance of that dialogue to the story. It's a feature, not a bug.
The worlds in this game are its biggest asset. They are huge, heavily detailed, heavily explorable areas with tons to discover. Hell, the Pirates of the Caribbean world acts as a slightly smaller Wind Waker. The game adds in most of the mechanics from all the spin offs to give you a lot of toys to play with, such as parkour or sharpshooting, that are easy to forget but a treat to use when you actually remember them.
A central theme of each of the Disney worlds is happy endings. Hercules finally takes down Hades for good. Mike and Sully are able to visit Boo without risk to her safety. The dead Baymax from that one Disney movie gets a redemption arc. Frozen and Tangled play out exactly as their movie which is kind of boring. This correlates with the happy endings the rest of the supporting cast get to experience, including the initially tragedies of the BBS and Days trio in scenes that genuinely got tears out of me. But Sora doesn't get a happy ending. He sacrifices himself to strong-arm everyone else into their perfect circumstance. Literally breaks the rules of time and space to force the universe into saving his friends at the cost of his own life. And then Hell turns out to be Tokyo so its not all that bad. It makes you feel for the boy. This game also lets you play as Kairi in the DLC which makes me happy.
Alright ending this here. I've played way too many games this year this isn't even half. Also only including games I've finished, and games with definitive endings. I played Mario Kart 7 but that doesn't rlly end, ya know? Will try to write these weekly, even if no ones reading them. But if you do read them tell me what you think! Gonna switch over to books next week to even it out. I swear I don't just play games. This is the last Kingdom Hearts game on this list too I swear.

75th Batch Of Fics: 12th Fill
Link/Yunobo/Zelda – cont B74F9 – 3-some series – Part 1/2 – sweat kink; stink kink – Zelda has her sights set on a new 'victim' of their perverse travels through Hyrule :)
---
The princess has been losing more and more of her clothes during their travels through the Death Mountain region. Link can’t say that he faults her; or that he minds terribly. There is something especially tantalizing about seeing Zelda sweating through her clothes until they are nigh see-through; showing off her lack of underwear as her shirt clings to her small tits, their dark tips shining through the fabric…
“The foreman said that we should be able to find Yunobo somewhere around… here…” she wipes the sweat off of her forehead as she comes to a stop and looks around them. Originally they had planned to meet with Yunobo back in Goron City but a matter at the mines has stalled his arrival.
Zelda, never fond of waiting, had decided to come to him instead.
Link suspects she’s just very horny right about now and in need of a good dicking. He has to admit that he is curious himself; he’s never fucked around with a Goron before.
He can feel the frustration starting to mount in his travel companion when instead of cock she only gets more heat as she sweats through her clothes, so he decides to nip that particular problem in the bud before it can spiral. Grabbing her by the arm, he nods toward a slightly hidden cave opening with shadows dancing in its mouth.
Zelda sighs in relief and starts to hurry toward it.
.o.
It’s the heat of the region that has Zelda spring the matter of their visit on Yunobo in a very rushed and inelegant way, but lucky for them, the Goron is a pushover as ever.
Huge and sweaty from his work in the mines, he just stands there, exuding heat and the fragrance of warm rocks while he gapes at the both of them. It’s easy to bully him into sitting down so they can more properly reach all the areas of his body.
“I don’t… this comes very surprising, Princess – I should maybe take a bath? I’ve been w-working in the mines all day and-”
“No… no, this is perfect, Yunobo.”
Zelda has pressed herself against his front, her hands rubbing with reverence across his huge belly. She leans in, pressing her face against the underside of his sweaty tit, inhaling deeply. Her throaty groan definitely keeps him distracted from Link shucking his backpack and coming in at the other side.
“I r-really don’t know about this, goro…” Yunobo stutters. He moves those huge arms around restlessly, not looking at either of them, scratching his head… he does not know what to do with his body, especially since the two assaulting him are so much smaller than him and so easily squished-
Zelda, ever an opportunist, leans up on her tip toes to stuff her face into his armpit. There is a thick tuft of white hair there that she buries herself in while groaning delirious.
“Oh Gods… this is…” her voice muffled, Link can’t make out what ‘this is’. But she sounds like she’s having a lot of fun. So he pushes on Yunobo’s other arm until he lifts that one too, a pathetic whimper of confusion whistling out of him. He does not know what fresh new Hell he’s stumbled himself into.
Link does not pay him too much attention, even as the big guy looks around, probably nervous that anybody might come across this little… thing that is happening now. Him with his arms up and a Hylian left and right, desperately huffing the clean, salty smell of his sweaty body.
Link can’t help that he wants to taste him as well. He’s never played around with a Goron before and his curiosity is getting the better of him quickly.
His tongue snakes out, dragging across Yunobo’s skin. It’s like licking a cave wall; hard but smooth and very warm. Mixed with the sweat it tastes simply like rocksalt. Link shoves closer, his arms curling around Yunobo’s body as far as possible. He can’t even hope to span the circumference of the huge Goron, but he can feel those muscles beneath the rock hard skin.
There’s not much give to Yunobo one way or another despite his Goron-typical gut; that is… there is a bit of give to his tits, surprisingly enough. Link pulls back to drag in huge lungs full of air after suffocating himself in Yunobo’s armpit, and watches himself feel up one chubby tit and digging his fingers into the slight give he feels there.
Yunobo is stuttering without really saying anything. He looks like his brain is somehow just hung-up and he has no idea what to do other than sit there with his huge arms above his head to let Link and Zelda feel him up.
It’s not like he doesn’t know what to do, though… the cloth wrapped around his hips is straining across his cock.
Link eyes it up. The shape that vaguely shows itself beneath the underwear is… different than a Hylian dick. He wants to get his hands so badly on it that it hurts.
He glances toward the Princess. She is deep in her own world. Her eyes are closed, only half of her flushed, sweaty face visible as she pushes her face into Yunobo’s armpit and loudly huffs his sweat.
While Link watches, her cherry red mouth opens and her clever little tongue snakes out. Like a pink worm it’s slipping through the white thick tuft of hair.
She looks absolutely delirious. He bets she’d come so damn fast if she got a dicking right now… he can practically feel how hot she’d be around his dick, leaking and gluttonous…
He turns back toward Yunobo and leans in, popping his mouth over a nipple that has had him wondering for years now. It feels just as hard against his tongue as he had always thought. Like sucking on a warm pebble; the areola like sandpaper against his wet, wiggling tongue.
Yunobo makes an odd sound. All high-pitched and a bit panicky sounding. His huge arm comes around Link, crushing the hero of Hyrule against his rocky muscles. Link is in heaven. He closes his eyes, letting himself get held like some kind of plush toy while he sucks on Yunobo’s tits.
He’s mean about it, too; using his teeth to worry the rock hard nipple between them. Biting him. Pulling on him. And Yunobo loves it. His voice is breathy, the panic in it very real as he suddenly bursts out: “Oh goodness, oh f-f-... ah… ah please, no more, I am… oh goro-”
Link and Zelda eye each other; two shameless whores that are practically connected by a horny psychic bond in that moment. Almost simultaneously, they pull off of Yunobo, letting him calm down some.
His cloth underwear is soaked, the bulbous head of his cock visible through the fabric.
Link wants it. And Zelda is right there with him.
She’s a ringleader of the perverse, her mean little fingers clawing at the fabric and all but ripping it to shreds so their hungry mouths can latch on to the next part of Yunobo’s body.
Link, ever the obedient swordsman, just goes along with it happily.

It’s been 3 years (or somewhere around that) since I last did a drawing of my Pokémon OC Blue. But ever since I got into Pokémon violet brain rot mode I sort of had this need of somehow adding her into the story (or at least make her have some relation with Julieta).
Tumblr media
Before getting into more details about her I need to clarify something:
1-I headcanon that Scarlet/Violet take place 2 years after the events of Sw/Sh. Now, at the beginning of Sw/Sh story Blue is 18 yrs old and by the the end of the story she would have turned 19 (More specifically after the events that take place in the Crown Tundra, if you played the DLC you know what I’m talking about). So basically by the time Julieta starts her journey, Blue would be 21 yrs old.
2-Yes I do ship her with Leon. I created Blue more then 3 yrs ago, so I got everything regarding her story and all that figured out, I’m only adding a couple more things since I thought it would be interesting to have her and Julieta be related in some way (I literally had to figure out a timeline and do the math just so I could determine how big the time skip between SwSh and ScarVio storylines should be).
3-I only drew her in her champion uniform cause that’s the only outfit I hadn’t figured out for her. Most of the time she’s wearing her casual clothes and only wears the uniform for exhibition matches, and official battles and/or tournaments.
Now that’s been cleared up, time to get into her info! First we'll cover the stuff related with SwSh and then we start withe the ScarVio stuff (don't worry the SwSh stuff will be short).
Blue is currently Galar’s reigning champion. It took her a while to get used to her new role, but eventually she got the hang of it and enjoys her job as the region’s champion.
Has known Hop for a very long time since she used to babysit him back when he was little, but even though she has looked after the boy for a long time, she never got meet his big brother before until the events of the game kick in.
A month after she earned the title of Champion, Blue decides that she needs to do some extra or special training to become a better trainer. Leon suggests that she should go to the Isle of armor and train under his old mentor, Master Mustard. While she and Klara started with the left foot, they eventually become good friends and even helps the poison type trainer accomplish her dream of becoming a gym leader (being a champion and the partner of the chairman does have its benefits 😉).
A month after the events of the Isle of Armor, Blue travels to the Crown tundra to find out from who is the strange voice that’s been calling her all the way from the south of Galar. (Yes, she does capture Calyrex but let’s him roam free around the Crown tundra since she thinks it’s for the best they stay in their natural habitat. Blue does visit Calyrex every once in a while if she has some free time to spare)
Blue is a very kind person and easy to get along with, as long as you don’t piss her off of course.
Blue does some routine visits to the Pokémon schools all over Galar to scout for new talented trainers. She always does this some months before the gym challenge, as she gives an endorsement to the kids that manage to catch her attention. It was during one of these visits that she met Julieta. Blue realized that the girl had the potential to be great at Pokémon battles, so she took the girl under wing and made her some sort of protégée.
At some point, Blue becomes close to Julieta and her mom, making her a friend of the family. One day Julieta accidentally called her 'Auntie' but it didn't bother Blue at all.
Blue is techincally Julieta's Godmother, but it's way easier for Julieta to just call her auntie (and it's also cute).
Was the one who suggested Julieta's mom that they move to Paldea to have a fresh start, hoping that the change of scenery would help the girl open up and make some new friends.
Since moving to another region ain't cheap, Blue covered all the expenses: ferry tickets to Paldea, moving services and buying a house. Alice (Julieta's mom) was very insistent there was no need for this, but deep down she's very grateful for her kindness.
Since the enrollment process of Uva Academy takes a long time to be completed for people that come from other places of the world, Blue personally made sure that the staff works on the process almost at the speed of light so her little girl can start attending as soon as the new semester begins. All the administrative staff and Director Clavell were sweating bullets, being pressured by a very famous champion was a huge deal, so they better not fuck this up.
Whenever she has time, she calls Julieta to check up on her and know she's doing well. Imagine how delighted she is when the girl tells her she has made some new friends and is now having her own adventure.
Figures out in less of five seconds that Julieta has a crush on Arven, when during one of their video calls the young girl starts to talk about him and kept saying how amazing and cute he is. Ah, young love is just amazing, or it would be if the girl weren't so damn oblivious and kept being in denial-
Julieta: Me? H-Having a crush on Arven?! D-Dont be silly! We are just good friends!
Blue: Julie, anyone with at least one funcional braincell can tell you like him that way 😒
Not many people know Blue is Julieta's godmother. The only exception are Julie's family, Clavell and Geeta. All of them agree to keep that information confidential for Julieta's sake, otherwise the media will bother her with questions related to her relationship with Galar's champion.
Sometime later after the events of Area zero and the post game, Blue decides to pay a visit to Julieta which means she gets to meet Penny, Nemona and Arven at long last. Those three definitely were shocked.
Nemona: Miss Blue, please let me have a battle with you! 🤩
Penny: *trying to process the fact her bestie is good friends with Galar's champion*
Arven: *internally panicking cause his crush's godmother is a freaking champion so he better give a good impression or he's fucked*

Been seeing lately a lot of memes about Argentina’s messed up economy. How’s Uruguay doing? Idk how influenced y’all are by your neighbor’s circumstances.
Hi!! And thanks for the concern :D
It's not very easy to answer because for my own sanity, I'm not knee deep in the news. What I can tell you is this:
The Argentinian economy has been in some form of free fall/broken parachute for several years now; it was with 2020 that things got very serious.
The Uruguayan economy, like many other things, used to be closely tied to that of its next door neighbours till about 2003-2004, where the 2001-2002 crisis was such a horrible thing there was a silent agreement across the political lines to cut as many ties of dependence as physically possible in order to avoid sinking the next time. Which, kudos to them (not that we are absolute winners in this; we just, for example, depend a whole lot on China. Which isn't an ideal situation. The ideal would be to be tied to the region. But as MERCOSUR goes, Argentina and Brazil play only for themselves, and in the case of the former, they don't even play well.)
Right now we are of course still a Latin American country, and still on the aftermath of the pandemic, with a long drought on top which "ended" in March, but is still a problem (the fields are getting some water, but in MVD the running water is starting to get brackish because the source is not recovering fast enough to keep up). We could be better, we could be worse.
Comparatively speaking? Uruguay has been getting more and more immigrants since the late 2010s, from Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Cuba, and recently, Argentina. Criminality has gone up and down several times in the past 3 years. The dollar, thanks to decent management and the American inflation, stays around 38 to 40 Uruguayan pesos per dollar. The Argentinian peso is worth about 0.20 Uruguayan peso. Politically the government is stable, and the population as a whole is moderately satisfied as things go.
What is affecting us now more specifically of the Argentinian situation is commerce on the borders. Long standing custom is that on the Argentinian and Brazilian borders there's usually a level of free trade and downright smuggling going on, that, depending on exchange rate, availability, etc, sometimes benefits Uruguay, sometimes the neighbors, it's a bit of a back and forth. But now the exchange rate is so advantageous on the Argentinian side for Uruguayans, that it's creating serious issues for shops on this side of the border; government is now considering a zero kilo decree (so that Uruguayans cannot cross the border back from Argentina with anything over a kilo in products purchased on the other side) or something similar.
We are fine. Just fine. Will most likely be fine whatever happens on the other side. But it worries me sometimes because I have good friends in Argentina I care about, and whom I miss a lot and because of mostly these economic and restlessness reasons, I have been unable to see in a while.

Voidsent AU is base on a few points:
1. Something the occurred long before Amaurot influences its fall and causes reverberations that change how the Ascians and thereby the Garlean Empire functions.
2. The Thirteenth Shard is a different sort of locational beast, the Princes are birth from it falling to the void and are then subsequently for unknown reasons shot towards the Source. But due to the time and space dialation in the void this however causes at least one of them to appear in the First Astral Era while others show up throughout history. Causing what would of been the budding Lambs of Dalamud who we stomp out during our exploration into Tam-Tara Deepcroft to actually form sooner and in the Coerthas region. Allowing this once budding cult to actually have time to build steam and influence the founding of Ishgard. We’ll get back to them in a moment.
3. The Warriors of Light didn’t appear in the Sixth Umbral Era. Causing the events of Dalamud’s Fall to play out differently and also causing the Scions of the Seventh Dawn to have far less influence on the goings on in Eorzea. They are still relied upon for some things. But they’re more of an investigative group for Primals rather than a political force.
On these key points, I will now go into point 2 since point 1 contains story spoilers.
Due to at least one Prince appearing at the Dawn of Mortal written history, a cult surrounds their presence. Leading to the Lambs of Dalamud to eventually style themselves after the Princes. And with the Founding of Ishgard, they find their perfect template. Where the Heavens’ Ward are suppose to be knights of valor, honor, and virtue. The Cult that styles itself the Sanguine Court seeks to mirror the opposite of Ishgard. Splitting into seven households each one with its own force and group based on; Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, and Pride. Additionally, the High Houses of Ishgard are blackmailed into tolerating the Court as it knows the secrets that would cause the Dragonsong War to collapse prematurely. Thus is the Court welcome to take any bastard born of Ishgard into their wings as well as operate as the underbelly of Ishgard. This eventually back fires however with the suddenly arrival of several Princes around the time of Doma’s fall to Garlemald. Using this time to rise up and take total control of Ishgard, the Court ousts the High Houses. Banishing them from Ishgard and taking control of the region. Forcing Sharyalan to abandon Idyllshire even sooner than they wanted to. Though Matoya is still in her hovel.
The Court takes the entire Dragonsong War into their own hands but since forcing Ishgard’s hand early. Both Hraesvelgr and Nidhogg are captured and dragged into the depths of the Fallen Ishgard. This will shape the environment Hilda, Estinien and Aymeric grow up in. And alter Haurchefant’s path as House Fortemp managed to flee the burning city with a few High House companions and into Gridania. The Court doesn’t give chase however and instead closes down Ishgard, Coerthas, and Dravania. No one goes in. No one gets out. And they take this to a logical extreme. As Garlemald does eventually arrive close to Dravania and Coerthas but every time they send a force in to prod the Court. The entire military sortie just disappears. There’s no bodies left behind, there’s no signs of a struggle. They just simply vanish. This gives Garlemald a hint that Ishgard just isn’t worth it. So they turn their sights fully from Ishgard and straight into Gridania.
With not just Gaius wishing to conquer Eorzea, the Emperor of Garlemald puts the full might behind the Black Wolf. And thus the logical conclusion comes to invade Gridania from Ala Mhigo. However, with the slightly added bonus of the Fortemps Knights adding as a buffer and aid with the Gridanian forces. They continue to reach a stalemate until one battle a little later.
So that’s Doma, Ishgard, Gridania, Ala Mhigo, and Garlemald. What of Limsa Lominsa and Ul’dah? Well, I am afraid Limsa Lominsa is a little less interesting. As they are an island nation removed from Eorzea and the Admiral is an absolute bad ass. There is little in way of change in that region, save for one thing. The Voidsent Prince of Envy is on a blood rampage through the Sahagin Lands. Leading for an even more tense situation politically. As the Admiral does mean to eventually make good on her pact with the Kobolds and Sahagin. She also has to weigh the options of keeping Envy occupied by letting him slaughter sahagin or draw his ire to Limsa Lominsa which would be like inviting Titan over for tea. After killing several kobold in front of him. So Limsa is sort of tip toeing around the entire situation there.
As for Ul’dah...unfortunately Thanalan has become a sort of reverse “The First” situation. Let me explain, much like when a Lightwarden arrives in an area and Sineaters swarm. If enough Voidsent Princes gather in a spot, there is a chance for them to call up a swarm of Voidsent. And unfortunately, Ul’dah is inadvertantly playing host to four Princes at once. The currently public Prince is the one that appeared on the Bloodsands before Dalamud’s fall becoming a Champion of the Arena and obtaining a seat on the Monetarist council. The champion is the Voidsent Prince of Greed (unbeknownst to anyone actually at the table), who instead of causing havoc is teaming up with the Mandervilles to make more opertunities for refugees in the Gold Saucer as well as actively employing them in his own operations.
Despite this however, there was an issue that made the Princes go from secret knowledge that only the Sanguine Court held to public knowledge and that is that the Voidsent Prince of Pride appeared three years before Dalamud’s Fall and called upon on the swarms of Voidsent. And may of also caused other Princes to find a way IN to Eorzea while he was at it. This brought rise to a certain kind of adventurer called Voidsent Hunters. One of these Hunters in particular was able to investigate and track down Pride. It is unknown if she slayed the Prince but the swarm eventually dispersed and Pride hasn’t been heard of since then. As proof of her success, she brought back Pride’s heart that she carved out and now keeps on her person.
But that is more general wise. Back to inside Ul’dah, Ilberd Feare was able to uncover the Ivy earlier than expected and subsequently detain her. Though without the Crystal Braves backing him up and as a lone sword-for-hire, he lost the use of his shield arm. Leaving him worse for wear, it is good however that Raubahn suddenly had need for a new right hand man and who better than his comrade-in-arms from Ala Mhigo? So Ilberd and his family were moved to Ul’dah and he seems far more sensible never going mad with vengeance, helping keep Gaius from gaining a foothold in Thanalan as well as working with the Mandervilles and Greed to seek safe shelters for his people and make the dream of taking back Ala Mhigo a reality even brighter than before. He also helps Raubahn train Pippin. As Ilberd plans to return to help rebuild Ala Mhigo the day it is returned to them and knows Raubahn will need a second good in swordsmanship, politics, and spy networking.
Though that might all SOUND good, the moment I drop you into Voidsent AU several things are happening.
In Limsa Lominsa, a meeting is called to how to deal with Envy and the Admiral has taken on an alcoholic sailor who survived his entire ship sinking at sea. Nearly drowning himself and being the sole survivor as her reluctant ward. I say reluctant cause she literally has a mountain of debt on him for gambling and drinking himself black out every night and he’s a general menace to Limsa. So she’s forcing him to do tasks until its paid off. Which may include also dealing with Envy. If he dies, his debt is paid of. If he lives, he needs to pay of his debt sort of deal.
In the Black Shroud, unfortunately, the tides have changed for the worst. A new Garlean commander suddenly appeared in the middle of a skirmish new the Hawthorne Hut. Causing a complete route of the Gridanian and Fortemp forces. Losing Gridania that region, shortly there after the Slyphs were captures or eliminated as something strange happened. The new commander confronted and defeated Ramuh after pushing Gridania out of that part of the Shroud. Putting Gridania on high alert. Seeing a need for more options, the Seedseer sends the Ishgardian Knights north to the Camp Dragonhead region to personally retake what little they can.
To the shock of the Knights however, they find the region outside of the Gates of Judgement completely abandoned. The Court has just up and left everything there from the Observatorium to the Stone Vigil completely unoccupied. With now Dravanian forces in the area and the Ixals hunted to near complete annihilation by the Court. The Knights are able to occupy the area and make contact with Mor Dhona to request adventurers for aid to help keep an eye on Garlean movements in the area of the Shroud, Gridania just lost.
As the Seedseer licks her wounds and prepares her city for the worst. She is forced to rely on the head of an exiled Ishgardian household who was forced to leave years before the Court even dreamed of taking over Ishgard. Apparently, dealing with this person is like handling a Monkey’s Paw. When he first arrived he met with the then leader of Gridania and offered that in exchange for safe haven in the Lavender Beds. He who would grant the leaders of Gridania (collectively) sixteen favors, no matter how impossible they might of been, that he would see through to the end.
When the Seedseer came to power, they were down to five favors left and she used the one favor, jokingly, for this person to stop Dalamud. And to everyone’s shock this seemingly ordinary elezen exiled from Ishgard before the High Houses’ exodus destroyed Dalamud and Bahamut but not without the consequences of leaving the entire land scarred. The Seedseer hasn’t called on this man since as she has been, understandably, tense about dealing with him again. But fate is forcing her hand into meeting with him to discuss the situation in the Shroud. Worst yet, she feels like as soon as the last four favors are granted, this person will be free to do as he pleases and she does not like what that might imply. Worst still this action alienated Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa from working with Gridania which is why the Seedseer has had to lean on the remaining Ishgardian Knights and aid from Mor Dhona for support.
Meanwhile, in Ul’dah, where I mean to begin Act I. People have been disappearing and not in the usual Ul’dah manner. At first it was the poor and downtrodden but recently it has been a member or two of the Monetarists as well as a couple members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn’s investigative team. No one knows why or how but its put the entire city on edge. To help bolster the city’s morale, the Sultana has decided to hold a tournament of entertainment to fight in memory of those lost in the Battle of Cartneau. Publically, the army won the day and Garlemald was pushed away. But secretly, the Sultana knows Gridania unleashing a horrific trump card won the day. Still, it had been five years and time must march forward and those who were caught in the blast radius must still be honored.
Subsequently, since Louisoix didn’t stop Dalamud, he is still very much alive and well. And has decided to send his Grandchildren to Eorzea to see the land, be apart of the world, and help bolster the Scion’s ranks since some of its members had vanished. Sharlayan forced to abandon Idyllshire sooner than expected has made them a tiny bit more receptive in communicating with the Eorzean Alliance even if its just to lean what the fuck is doing on over there. So they’re not surprised by an army of voidsent worshiping cultists again.
Elsewhere in Kugane, the City is currently in a civil war between the Sekiseigumi and a faction known as the Mistress’s Bedlam. A criminal organization lead by a woman known only as the Bone Maiden. Each side warring over control of the port city at large. Garlemald due to focusing more on Ala Mhigo has been less restrictive on Doma and thus things in the Ruby Price are also tame for the moment. Though the Confederacy are under no illusion much is still on a knife’s edge.
In Garlemald proper, when they tried to invade the Azim Steppe they accidentally stumbled upon a recently won Naadam. Angring the Tribes, the recent winner of the event, however, didn’t send the tribes after Garlemald. Instead single handledly defeated Galbranth’s invading legion show her prowess. Impressed by this, Garlemald made a pact to never enter the Steppe again in exchange that the Khagan serve Garlemald. Which they accepted leaving the Steppe for the tribes leave as they wish in exchange for joining the might of Garlemald. Whom itself has had its own strange developments. Its Emperor styling themselves the Immortal Solus. And true to their word and the astronishment of the Garlean population. The Emperor hasn’t aged a day since he founded the conquering militant force. This grants the Garleans hope and a reverie almost worship for their Emperor as never before. And thus with no need for an heir, the Garleans are similar to Ishgard in they answer to their one Emperor but politically are beholden to the high houses of their own empire: Brutus, Darnus, Garlond, and Galvus are the ones with the most power. And with the needs of the people and indeed, their Empire never in question. There is no requirement for a Popularis to meet with the Emperor.
And then there is the First Shard...which I will save for another day. Lets just say...things have gone wrong. So...So...SO wrong on the First but we’ll get to that when we get to that.
Welcome to the Voidsent AU.

First off I wanna say...YOU ARE DOING FABULOUS, YOU ARE AMAZING, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER(pls🥰)!!! I wandered across your 1,000 followers haikyū!! Fanfic and I immediately hit follow.
Second, haikyū hits close to home despite that I don't play sports (and relate to Oikawa the most for some reason ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ). Im in orchestra (Im a cello player) and ever since middle school I've wanted to be a conductor. I was going through a tough time and so were many other people, during the pandemic. I lost motivation to play and i was on the verge of quiting and leaving my dream behind. After a while I was able to play in a group again. I slacked off and i wasn't very good and made little improvement that is until the person in first chair was extremely cocky and it got on my nerves. It pushed me to be better so i didn't have to hear him talk about how I sucked. I eventually got to first chair and put Super Cocky™ in his place. We're on good terms and im friends with everyone in the cello section (we won best section award). And the teacher told me I really helped her out to the point our orchestra was able to go compete regionally and state wide, we even got better scores than our rival orchestra >:3. We're all a really good players even if I don't like everyone there, I know how well we can play. Unfortunately our music director is leaving( ;-;) but we will have a new one coming in next year and I've been put in charge of leading and helping out our new music director. So its gonna be alright!
Is there any haikyū!! Character you relate to the most, ma?
-Anonymous Maestro 🎶
Anon Maestro 🥰🥰
First off welcome!! And thank you for reading my works! That 1,000 follower hc set was absolutely one of my favorites ever!!
First of all, I love that! I think so many of us can relate to Haikyu despite us playing volleyball! It's a really good lesson in trying and not giving up no matter what. And it's a good lesson in team work (que season 2 training camp 🙌🏻)! Honestly I love how hard you worked and how much dedication you put into what you adore! That's seriously so important! Like sometimes I'll write a headcannon set that I love and it just doesn't do as well as I hope it will, it still means to world to me that I'm proud of myself for writing something I want! Congrats on making it so far in your chosen activity! That's a huge accomplishment!!
And please, I'm not sure to apologize or comend you for relating to Oikawa 🤣 it seems like one of those curses that is also a blessing.
Also I think my most related character is probably Tendou! I was bullied alot as a kid but I tried had to prove everyone wrong. Now look at me, I'm a Tumblr fanfic writer but I've never been happier in my entire life!!! And that's what's most important!

Iwakuni
July 7, 2023
Mark - who is feeling fine and had been for many, many days - took the day off and opted for a quiet day in Hiroshima watching the Woman's US Open Golf Tournament. But Anson and I joined Ken-san on a trip to beautiful Iwakuni about an hour from Hiroshima.
Tumblr media
We took a public bus and just enjoyed the views and the tunnels. Japan is more than 80% mountainous and most of the mountains are forested. It makes for beautiful scenery and a great need for tunnels. The day was overcast and rain was predicted in the PM but the temps were MUCH cooler and it was a pleasant change.
I took the pic from the bus and if you look VERY carefully you can see a castle on the top of that hill and that was one of our destinations.
Tumblr media
But while castles are nice - the star of this show is the Kintaikyo Pedestrian Bridge.
Tumblr media
From the city's website: "The Kintaikyo Bridge (錦帯橋, Kintaikyō) has been Iwakuni's most distinguished landmark and a subject of admiration for hundreds of years. The elegant, wooden bridge makes five bold arches onto massive stone pillars as it crosses over the Nishiki River.
Plans for the Kintaikyo were first drawn up when strong currents had once again destroyed a bridge crossing the Nishiki River. A more durable bridge was commissioned by Kikkawa Hiroyoshi, the third feudal lord of Iwakuni, whose statue stands at the entrance to nearby Kikko Park. After the bridge's completion in 1673, it kept standing until 1950, when Iwakuni was struck by a violent typhoon.
With the country still exhausted from the war, the maintenance of cultural properties suffered neglect. For this reason, the bridge that had stood for almost 300 years, collapsed as desperate townspeople looked on and futilely tried to divert the ferocious current. Shortly thereafter, determined residents began constructing a precise reconstruction of their cherished bridge. It was completed in 1953."
Tumblr media
It is beautiful and made up of a lot of steps leading to and from the top of each arch. The foundation is pretty awesome as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From the bridge we also saw these small boats and we learned that these boats are for ukai fishing. Ukai is a traditional fishing method which uses trained cormorants to catch river fish such as sweetfish (ayu). This type of fishing has been around for over 1300 years and could ONLY be done with special permission of the Emperor. This river and the fisherman called "usho" have had that permission since it was first required.
Tumblr media
Check this out...
youtube
We went to the Cormorant Center and I was so surprised to see how big these were. I'm used to the cormorants we have in the Great Lakes, call Greater Cormorants, but these are Japanese Cormorant and they are closer to the size of a penguin - which as I write this I know come in many sizes... The male is almost 3 feet tall and the female is a little less. Anyway here are my pics:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This region is also known for their very much revered White Snakes. These snakes LOVE mice and mice LOVE rice - enough said. The White Snake is an albino version of the Green Snake but the White Snake have developed a home in this region. We went to a tiny museum to learn about them and even to play a game or two.
Tumblr media
I confess I did not know that if two snakes with albinism breed they have zero change of having a offspring that does NOT have albinism. You learn something everyday - right?
Tumblr media
The bulk of the area across the bridge is a park and it is lovely...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From the website:  In 1600, the area around Iwakuni was granted to warlord Kikkawa Hiroie for his role in keeping the Mōri army from participating the battle and thus preventing the complete attainder of the Mōri holdings under the Tokugawa shogunate. (We visited the Tokugawa palace in Kyoto - the one with the squeaky floors and no photos allowed inside. He was a very powerful man!) Back to the website: The Kikkawa clan built Iwakuni Castle and the core of the modern city developed from the castle town which arose around its ramparts.
Parts of that "castle town" still exist. I loved the direct TV dish on top of the ancient structure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I can't forget  Kikkawa Hiroie himself. His statue greets you as you enter the park. (My photo was bad - but this on from the Internet is much, much better.) Then it was time to visit his castle.
Tumblr media
To get to the peak of Mt. Shiroyama,  we took a cable car. This delightful place is off the beaten track and we had the cable car just for Anson, Ken-san and me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was plenty to see. After we exited the cable car we had about a ten minute walk through the woods to the castle and that was went we encounter the rain. Good thing we were prepared.
Tumblr media
I was surprised to see how large it was.
Tumblr media
Now the story of these castles from the 1600s is this... They all fell into disrepair as the Shogunates slowly disappears. Eventually they just crumbled - but in the 1960s there was a renewed interest in preservation of Japanese history and slowly but surely they have been rebuilt based on what they used to be. This castle is also a museum and tells the history of Kikkawa Hiroie and his descendants. I liked it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are two samurai "suits". (I have no idea what one would call them - but you get it.). The place was full of weaponry as well and Anson had lots of info about different killing things - but I skipped taking pics of those. Instead I took a pic of two ancient instruments called Biwa.
Tumblr media
The Biwa has a deep low sound and it often used in storytelling. The "picks" next to the instruments are also unique.
The views from the top of the castle were excellent and our timing was excellent as well - because as we started to leave the rain got serious and by the time we left the area the castle had disappeared into the clouds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Many regions has a certain take on food and in this region sushi is quite different than we are used to - so of course we had to try it.
This restaurant had an ordering system that we had not yet experienced - a vending machine. There are menus and when you decide what you want - you hit the corresponding button, your order card appears and you take a seat.
Tumblr media
Your waitstaff comes with water and the first salad and picks up your card. Then soon - ta-da!!!
Tumblr media
I had buckwheat noodles, (despite the name there is not wheat in "buckwheat") with tofu, seaweed paste, fish cake and green onions - and of course the regional sushi. This sushi is made with sticky rice - then a lotus root, roe and the stuff that looks like shredded cheese is not cheese at all - but egg. I confess that I prefer the rolled up sushi to this - but I'm always happy to see how different regions put their twist on food.
It was pouring rain when we walked back over the bridge and boarded the bus to head back to Hiroshima. The river looked much different than earlier in the day and it made us understand how a lot of rain -could change so much on that no longer gentle river.
The bus ride back was very, very fast - but that might be because I slept most of the way. We had some down time and then it was time to eat - AGAIN! Hiroshima is famous for oysters - but Anson had NO INTEREST in that. So Ken-san split us up. He took Mark and I too a tiny restaurant that specialized in oysters - got our order in and my gluten issue explained and then he and Anson headed out for a place that specialized in Ramen. Everyone was happy. And Mark and I can verify that the Hiroshima oysters are fabulous - no matter how they are cooked.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tomorrow is our last full day in Japan. It has been an adventure - hopefully one Anson will never forget. Traveling with him has been a great adventure and we count ourselves lucky indeed.
Stay tuned.

Ovarian Cancer Fundamentals
The ovaries are found on each side of the uterus and are compared in size to an almond. Ovaries can store eggs and produce female chemicals. Ovarian Cancer is an unusual development (a harmful growth) of tissue in a lady’s ovaries. It is one of the fifth driving reasons for cancer demise in females. More seasoned ladies who are north of 60 years old have a higher gamble of succumbing to ovarian cancer (however it can happen at whatever stage in life). Assuming distinguished in the beginning phase, there are extremely high possibilities of it getting relieved. Tragically, recognizing ovarian cancer in its beginning phase is hard. Side effects are bound to be apparent when it has spread past ovaries.
Ovarian Cancer Side effects
· Feeling full rapidly or inconvenienced in eating
· Swelling in the stomach
· Acid reflux or heartburn
· Stomach or pelvic agony
· Torment during sex
· Loss of craving
· Urinary side effects including recurrence and criticalness
· Abrupt addition or misfortune in weight
While these signs might be because of other clinical issues, if they stay tireless, reaching your medical care advisor is fitting.
Reasons for Ovarian Cancer
There have been numerous examinations led by cancer consulting services in India around ovarian cancer. Notwithstanding, the specific ovarian cancer causes are as yet unclear. Analysts and researchers have not had the option to see any substance in the climate or diet-related propensity that can be straightforwardly connected to ovarian cancer. In any case, certain things can expand the chances of somebody getting ovarian cancer.
Inherited
· Assuming somebody has never been pregnant/unexplained fruitlessness
· Early mensuration and late menopause
· Had to deal with colorectal, uterine, and bosom cancer
· Kinds of Ovarian Cancer
Recognized by the sort of cells in which cancer begins, there are three principal types -
· Epithelial Ovarian Growths — these are gotten from the cells on the outer layer of the fallopian cylinder or ovary.
· Microorganism cell Ovarian Cancers — these are gotten from the egg-creating cells
· Line stromal Cell Ovarian Growths — these are gotten from the connective tissue inside the ovary
· Phases of Ovarian Cancer
Organizing is depicted by the movement of the infection and how far and where growth has spread. It distinguishes the treatment determination and how to take it further.
Stage 1 — The development of cancer is restricted to the ovaries (one or both)
Stage 2 — notwithstanding the ovaries (one or both) a growth has attacked different regions including the uterus, fallopian cylinders, colon, or bladder.
Stage 3 — Growth has spread into the mid-region or the lymph hubs too.
Stage 4 — This stage happens when cancer spreads outside the stomach pit, like the lungs or liver.
Going with a treatment choice relies upon the movement or the phase of the sickness. Utilizing the outcomes, the oncology division chooses the best cancer treatment.
Determination of Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer can be analyzed through a few tests by a cancer consultant. These tests normally happen when your primary care physician while playing out a pelvic test distinguishes a developed ovary. In such a circumstance, you might have to get blood tests, pelvic ultrasound, laparoscopy, and Laparotomy done.
The most effective method to Shield Yourself from Ovarian Cancer
we at cancer connext accept that you can without much of a stretch hold yourself back from succumbing to ovarian cancer on the off chance that you follow the tips referenced underneath:
Get yourself consistently checked
Any stomach torment or vaginal draining ought to be promptly answered by the specialist
On the off chance that there’s a family background of ovarian cancer, examine something very similar with your primary care physician and dive more deeply into the gamble to your wellbeing
Make certain of practicing good eating habits
Since you have all the ovarian cancer rudiments close by, ensure you take great consideration of your well-being. Any irregularities at all ought to quickly be accounted for to the specialist, for the most ideal treatment. Fare thee well!

What? You're Still Here?
| Repost: Originally posted by Rer on June 29, 2012
Its true, really! Click past the jump for more info on what's going on lately.
Sooo, yea, its been quite awhile since I last posted here, and while I believe I will be co-hosting tonight’s episode of Multiplaying (spoilers! that exists too!), I feel it is time to get back to blogging!
I suppose to best way to start its to explain what’s going on with me gaming-wise.  I am of course, still ridiculously active as a gamer, logging in about as many hours as physically possible (taking into account working, sleeping, and eating of course).  Despite all of this glorious gaming however, my content updates have been nonexistent.  My YouTube channel has really become barren as of late, and my posting on the Multiplaying forums has been minimal. Time to fix that!  So, with this post I am announcing the following projects, thus locking me in a blood-blogging-bound seal of finishing them!
Uncharted Waters Online
EVE Online
Orion: Dino Beatdown
Sword and Sworcery (if not a full playthrough of this)
Civilization V: Gods and Kings
Nuclear Dawn
And Many More!
I feel like those, in addition to finishing Darksiders and Cave Story+, should be more than enough to keep me occupied for the rest of this summer.  I attribute most of my apathy towards creating content around a rather negative attitude towards the Telecommunications Industry that I had for awhile.  Looking back however, letting some rather unfortunate events get in the way of continuously updating and posting (never stop posting!) was rather silly.
On a more positive note, gaming has been wonderful as of late.  I’ve been spending numerous hours playing EVE, as I have moved to a new corporation (SniggWaffe), known for being a very active recruiter corporation for one of Pandemic Legion’s most well-known corporations (Sniggerdly).  I’m enjoying myself there, as it is much like Multiplaying in the sense that the folks in PL play many different games together (Starcraft II, Battlefield 3, DEFCON, DayZ, and LoL come to mind).  A massive war is also brewing in Delve (a region in EVE), consisting of well.. just watch this:
(video is no longer available)
(Damn I need to bribe this guy with ISK to teach me how to do this in After Effects)
In regards to League, yes, LoL Coldcasts will be picking back up as well.  Iaqton says he has some special surprise for me involving a pro-team or something, but he’s keeping the details a secret from me until he’s sure its going to happen.  So, stay tuned for that I guess?  Either way, we both agree that its high time we got back to casting.  Iaqton has been riding me about it for awhile, but as I mentioned earlier, I just wasn’t in a good state of mind to get back into it.  I’m not sure if we’ll continue doing Tournaments (organizing people is a huge pain in the rear, who knew?), but we will definitely be doing something.
Last but not least, I’m building a new rig!  I’m not sure if I’ll be donating my old computer to my younger brother or a good friend quite yet, but either way I know it will be going to a good owner who will use it to its fullest potential.  I, however, will have a completely new rig that is being constructed by my friend.  Without getting too much into the tech it consists of a ASUS Rampage Intel Motherboard, a Intel Core i7, a Solid Slate Drive and normal 2TB Hard Drive, and 2 HD Radeon 6850′s that will be Crossfired with one another.  Needless to say, I’m super freakin’ excited.
That’s about it I suppose.  I just wanted to start blogging again and lock myself in to creating more content.  Thanks for reading and.. oh, oh oh!  One more thing!  The Tenth EVE Alliance Tournament qualifiers are this weekend!  Even if you don’t play EVE, you can expect some hilarious commentating and many explosions to take place, so stop by!

Eating My Way Across the Midwest: A Foodie's Guide to the Heartland
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
By Anders Tornsø Jørgensen
If you read my blog, then you may have realized that I am very interested in food. And people across the globe seems to be very fascinated by American food culture. So, what is American food?  The United States is notorious for its fast food, but American food culture is so much more than McDonald’s. As a nation of immigrants and many different cultures and regions, each one creating their own culinary traditions, the United States is home to many different cuisines. Despite keeping us alive, food plays an important role everywhere in our culture, so different dishes and its history is pretty interesting. Having visited nearly all parts of the Midwest during my internship, I want to highlight some of the interesting aspects of Midwestern food, many of them shaped by the region’s immigration patterns and historical events. Usually, wherever I go, I order what locals eat and follow their recommendations. However, I can guarantee you, that assimilating into Midwestern food culture wasn’t hard at all.
Having writing this blog post, at least two conclusions seems very clear: Diners, taverns, and bars are the places to go for great food in the Midwest, but also, on a more serious note, many of these dishes all reflect how immigration have impacted the Midwest in countless ways.
1: PORK TENDERLOINS
One of my favorites go-to meals has been pork tenderloins, which is a true Iowa staple. I had my first breaded pork tenderloin sandwich the day after I arrived to Iowa. I had it at Larsen’s Pub, who once won an award for its pork tenderloin, on Elk Horn’s Main Street. Pork tenderloins are a big deal in Iowa, but also across the Midwest, usually found in small-town restaurants and diners. It's nothing fancy really yet each one has been unforgettable. Plain and simple just like the great Iowans. In Iowa, the nation’s leader in pork production, you can actually be rewarded for traveling the state and eating different pork tenderloins. That is, if you eat at 10 of 14 designated locations of the Iowa Tenderloin Trail.
Allegedly, this peculiar sandwich was created back in 1904 in Huntington, Indiana when Nicholas Freinstein, a son of German immigrants, wanted to serve Wienerschnitzel to the American public. However, instead of veal, pork became the solution as pork was way more common in the Midwest, thus giving birth to the dish which we know today as the mighty pork tenderloin. Over the next century, the sandwich gained popularity along I-80 through Indiana, Illinois and Iowa, which is the heart of the pork tenderloin country.
2: THE HORSESHOE SANDWICH OF SPRINGFIELD, IL
Another guilty pleasure of mine is the Horseshoe Sandwich of Springfield, Illinois. When I was an exchange student in 2019, I met this calorie monster, and it was love at first sight – and it’s what I usually eat whenever I am in town. Smothered in a cheese sauce, the Horseshoe Sandwich consists of thick-sliced toasted bread, a hamburger patty or another choice of meat, and usually French fries, but tater tots or hash browns is also pretty delicious. Legend has it that in 1928 the first horseshoe sandwich was made by a 17-year old dishwasher at the Leland Hotel in Springfield, and since then it has become a traditional Springfield dish. You can’t go wrong any place in Springfield if you order a horseshoe sandwich, but my favorite is served at a diner called Charlie Parker’s.
3: ST. LOUIS SLINGER
Another interesting meal I have met while discovering the Midwest is called a slinger. A classic slinger consists of a monstrous oval plate full of hash browns, eggs (as you want them), toast, a hamburger patty and shredded cheese and onion on top – looking a bit like a mountain of food. It’s usually something you can order at diners across St. Louis, but different versions exist across the land. However, be warned: You’ll need a lot of appetite to eat this culinary mess, but it’ll keep you full for the rest of the day. I tried it at Courtesy Diner, in St. Louis, Missouri, which have been in business since 1935. According to various sources little is about the exact origin story of this peculiar dish, but today it is really popular among college students as a late-night meal.
In general, St. Louis is home to some interesting meals, including Provel cheese on pizza and deep-fried ravioli, but the St. Louis slinger was my favorite. Also, I just love the diner atmosphere: It’s something uniquely American, it’s nostalgic, the waitresses are top-notch, and the food is cheap yet delicious.
4: KANSAS CITY-STYLE BBQ
It’s not only the South, who can claim fame for barbeque. Kansas City, Missouri, is also home to a rich barbeque tradition. Actually, seven regions in the U.S. is referred to the BBQ Belt, including different parts of Texas, North and South Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee's Memphis, and of course Missouri’s Kansas City.
The father of Kansas City-style BBQ is Henry Perry, who in the early 1900s, established a BBQ stand in the Garment District, where he served smoked meats to workers. Perry, who came from Tennessee, managed to open a restaurant, and when he died in 1940, his BBQ protégées took over the restaurant and started new businesses. Eventually, this resulted in Arthur Bryant's Barbeque Restaurant and Gates Bar-B-Q, who booth traces their roots back to the legendary Perry. As an African American, Perry’s barbeque surpassed several of Kansas City’s racial and socio-economic divides.
I went to famous Arthur Bryant’s, where I had burnt ends, which is made from the tips of smoked beef brisket and remains a quintessential part of Kansas City BBQ. At Arthur Bryant’s, various presidents have stopped by, and as such, pictures of presidents from Carter to Obama. In Kansas City, almost any meat is fair game, and as such pulled pork, smoked chicken, brisket and smoked sausage is common. Today, Kansas City is home to more than 100 mouth-watering barbecue establishments.
5: KRINGLE
While kringle may be a classic Danish delicacy, it is actually the official state pastry of Wisconsin. Furthermore, Racine, Wisconsin, has historically been a center of Danish-American culture and kringle-making, and is known today as “The Kringle Capital of America.” During my internship, I went to Racine, to discover the city’s Danish heritage and ended up exploring a lot of different kringles, my favorite being from O&H Danish Bakery, who since 1949 has been supplying hungry Americans with kringle. At the museum, I have also been enjoying a lot of kringle during my internship. Besides the great taste, it really enables ‘hygge,’ when you combine coffee, kringle, and a bunch of happy Danes.
6: LOOSE MEAT SANDWICHES
Another interesting food concept is the loose meat sandwich. It’s like a sloppy joe without the tomato sauce. It is unlike a hamburger, because the meat is cooked loose rather than formed into a compact patty. The sandwich has a few different names, but in Iowa this delicacy is also known as a maid rite because of the Midwestern chain named Maid-Rite. The original Maid-Rite restaurant was opened in Iowa in 1926, and according to legend, it all goes back to the founder of Maid-Rite, Fred Angell. When a deliveryman tasted Fred's new creation, he said, "This sandwich is made right." Fred was not much of a speller, but with that, a loose meat sandwich empire was born. Today most of the Maid-Rite restaurants can be found in Iowa, but also in surrounding states. It’ll get messy, so usually, you’ll need a spoon if you wish to consume all of the meat.
The popular sitcom ‘Roseanne’ made the loose meat sandwich even more popular, when the main character opened up a small restaurant in the fictional town of Lanford, Illinois, calling it the Lanford Lunch Box. The inspiration for Lunch Box was a real-life restaurant called Canteen Lunch in the Alley in Ottumwa, Iowa, which I also had the pleasure to visit, and they truly make one of the best loose meat sandwiches in Iowa. However, my all-time favorite, and it’s hard to choose, was the one I had at the Tendermaid Sandwich Shop in Austin, Minnesota. Austin is also home to the SPAM Museum, so now you have a legitimate reason to visit.
7: T-BONE STEAK WITH WARREN BUFFETT
Omaha, Nebraska used to be the livestock capital of the world and a major hub for railyards, and is currently the home of iconic American investor and businessman Walter Buffett. In true Omaha-style, I ate at his favorite restaurant, Gorat’s Steak House, where he still hosts business meetings. The association to Buffett has made the establishment quite famous. When I sat down at the table, I asked the waitress to have whatever Buffett usually haves when he visits. Apparently, Buffett is all about habits, and he usually orders a 22oz T-bone steak, cooked rare, with side orders of hash brown and spaghetti, and a Cherry Coke to drink. I was full for the rest of the day it was a T-bone to remember.
8: RUNZA
A runza is a pocket sandwich filled with beef, cabbage, and onions, but in true American style you can also add cheese, which I truly recommend. The runzas have been so popular in Nebraska, that it actually gave name to a beloved fast food restaurant chain literally named Runza.
Journalist David Landsel of Food & Wine Magazine, have said, that the runzas “is as Nebraska as Cornhusker football,” and knowing how seriously Americans care about their sports team, this must mean that Nebraskans indeed like their runzas. Seeing the countless Runza restaurants whenever I have ventured into Nebraska, I quickly did sense this. However, Runza is very regional, so if you are in the area, be sure to stop and try this interesting meal because you may not have the chance again. According to Landsel, Runza Restaurants today have roughly 85 locations, all except five of them within the state of Nebraska.
Actually, the runza sandwich has its roots in German-Russian cuisine. Allegedly, when Volga Germans, a group of ethnic Germans who settled in the Volga River valley in Russia, changed Russian delicacies to create the bierock, a yeast pastry sandwich. Later, when the political climate turned against the Volga Germans, many decided to pursue some happiness in the United States and eventually settled across the Great Plains. These immigrants, brought their bierock recipes with them and somehow along the way, they would up as this little bread pocket that Nebraskans cherish today. Pretty amazing to think about.
In the neighboring state of Kansas, the bierocks survived, and while runza are rectangular, the bierocks of Kansas are round buns. Basically, these pockets of deliciousness are the same thing with a different name and shape.
9: CONEY ISLAND HOTDOG
In Michigan, a “Coney Island” does not refer to the famous amusement park in Brooklyn, New York. Instead it refers to a certain style of a hotdog topped with an all meat, beanless chili, diced white onions, and yellow mustard. According to the Detroit Historical Society, Greek immigrants, who passed through Ellis Island in New York City, described seeing the famous Coney Island, and then appropriated the Coney Island name for their hot dog version. Many Greeks and Macedonian immigrants came to the United States in the early 1900s because of the Balkan Wars of 1912 and 1913.
In 1917, Gust Keros, a Greek immigrant, opened American Coney Island in downtown Detroit. In 1924, his brother William arrived to Detroit to help. William then opened Lafayette Coney Island right next to his brother’s establishment. The businesses have operated continuously in the same locations ever since, and there is an on-going debate about which place serves the best Coney Island hot dog. Despite serving good hot dogs, both places have a very old-school atmosphere, feeling like a blast from the past.
10: JU(I)CY LUCY
In Minneapolis you can order a certain, but iconic, burger. It’s called a Jucy Lucy or Juicy Lucy, depending on where you order it, but it’s basically a cheeseburger with the cheese inside the patty instead of on the top, resulting in the cheese melting to a molten core when it is cooked. Two bars in Minneapolis claim to be the inventor of this miracle: Matt's Bar and the 5-8 Club, and there is an ongoing rivalry between these two establishments.
Matt Bar’s origin story goes something like this: In 1954, a Matt’s customer ordered two patties with a slice of cheese in the middle. When the customer took the first bite molten, hot burger, he declared “That’s one juicy Lucy!” However, Matt’s Bar forgot to add an ‘i’ in Jucy, and today they continue to purposely spell it without the ‘i’. The 5-8 Club also claims to be the home of the Juicy Lucy, but does not provide an origin story. However, the 5-8 Club was originally a speakeasy established in the 1920s. Unfortunately, it has since been remodeled.
The 5-8 Club claims "if it's spelled right, it's done right." In return, Matt's Bar claims "Remember, if it is spelled correctly, you are eating a shameless rip-off.” Anyway, do remember to be careful before you take a bit of this burger, because the cheese is HOT. However, the waiters normally warn you.
Today, however, you can visit a lot of places across Minneapolis who have created their own interpretations of this burger, so go explore and let the melty center of cheese explode in your mouth! You won’t be disappointed.
11: CHEESE CURDS
Another Midwestern miracle is cheese curds. You can get cheese curds across the Midwest, but it’s a point of pride in the great state of Wisconsin, nicknamed America’s Dairyland. Considered the crème de la crème of Wisconsinite food, cheese curds are small pieces of curdled milk, with a mild and cheddar-like flavor. As with much other food on this list, you can usually go to a bar and get some pretty good cheese curds.
However, my favorites are the ones from my beloved Culver’s, who is known for their cheese curds, butterburgers and custards. It’s a Midwestern fast-casual restaurant chain, but don’t worry, they are expanding across the land. It’s like a slice of heaven, and each bite is probably bringing me closer, but it’s pretty much worth it.
And if you want the full Midwestern experience, then add some ranch to those cheese curds. Ranch truly binds Midwesterners together, and luckily, when I was in Costco, I found a dry package, which I can bring home, so I can continue enjoying this chief force of Midwestern cuisine. Simply put, ranch makes everything taste better, especially with cheese curds.
12: CHICAGO-STYLE PIZZA
The Chicago-style Pizza, also known as the deep-dish pizza, is a must-try when in Chicago. As with many of the above-mentioned meals, the history behind this pizza miracle is also a bit uncertain. Pizzeria Uno claims to have invented it back in 1943. Throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s, Italian immigrants arrived in the United States. Quickly, Chicago, where jobs were plenty, became home to a large population of Italians, who were hungry for a taste of the old land and brought along a love of pizza, which then became popular across the United States.
Much later, a businessman named Ike Sewell decided to think outside of the box and ended up creating a new version of an Americanized pizza. In 1943, when he opened Pizzeria Uno, a new style of pizza was served, which looked very different from the classic version.
Instead, the pizza was cooked in a pan, but also assembled in another way. A thick layer of cheese on the bottom, then meat and vegetables piled on top of the cheese, and finally everything was covered with fresh tomato sauce on the top, all filling up the pie-like crust.
In 1971, Lou Malnati opened Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, a Chicago-style pizza chain. Lou Malnati was son of Rudy Malnati, Sr., who was the head chef of Pizzeria Uno. Some sources claim that Rudy was the original inventor of deep-dish pizza and not Ike Sewell, so there’s a bit controversy there.
I have been to most deep-dish places in Chicago, and my favorite will always be Pizzeria Uno, but you can’t really go wrong with any place if I have to be honest. However, one or two pieces is usually enough for most people.
Anyway, I better end this blogpost, hoping you may go out and explore some of culinary wonders of the Midwest.
