saw a take so fucking rancid on twitter i almost deleted the entire app from my phone jesus fucking christ
first of all ao3 is an archive site. this is like going to the library and saying "oh i dont like this" on every piece of media you find that you dislike and thinking they should be stamped with some sort of a marker just cause you didnt like it
you can always click back and leave. fic writers owe you nothing to explain themselves and their creations. if they have mistagged or miscategorized fics, then i understand, however there are report tools for that instead of yelling at the artist tbh
im not saying free works arent necessarily above criticism. but this is just. fucking wild. its common courtesy to just enjoy stuff (or fucking leave if you dont, the back button is free) and if the artist specifically asks for critiques, then give one - constructive that is, shitting all over someones work is not proper criticism, mind you
i just find it fucking wild people are treating art and archive sites as social media these days like this and everything needs to be policed and ~catered to the algorithm~ like. no. ao3 doesnt have an algorithm. you should be able to fucking tell what you like and what you dont like and steer away from that kind of content and let people fucking be with their art. they dont owe you anything (except trigger warnings i'd argue, but i know some people disagree with that as well for some reason), and imagine how much more energy you'd have if you only engaged with things you liked and spent time looking at instead of going to places where you dont enjoy yourself. let alone spending time telling other people you dont enjoy what they enjoy. what a fucking life

Okay you’re like the only person I follow who posts about Moon Knight, so I’m giving you this thought in hopes you can do better with it than I can:
Something that gets me about Steven being essentially British to the point of fitting in with other Brits, but not *technically* British, is that there’s gotta be some times he slips up in some way, and that could possibly be really funny (and I know this because I’m in a system and the American/Brit slip-ups are hilarious sometimes). Like, I’m just imagining him not knowing about specific slang that isn’t even usually in British media, or something, or knowing random stuff that you wouldn’t expect of a Brit, so he just comes off as “That guy who for some reason knows a lot about the US for someone who’s never been there” to his coworkers
steven voice: there's a QUEEN of ENGLAND?

[☀ requests for summer prompts are still open, and will be all month ☀]
charles lee ray (childhood friends)
When you were a kid, each summer had felt like a lifetime.
Summers went on for aeons, and when school started once again in the autumn, everyone was changed. It happened year after year, people grew up or left town or travelled the world or cut their hair.
Everyone except for Chucky. Chucky never seemed to change.
Perhaps it was because you spent so much time with him that you didn't notice the changes. Didn't notice how he grew taller, or how his shoulders filled out. Didn't notice the softness of his baby face give way to sharp cheeks and deep brows. Didn't notice the way his hands became slender and taut with a different type of tension.
What you did notice was how the summers changed from endless days of tumbling through dry grass and climbing gnarly oak trees to a different type of tumbling around. To long drives up to lover's lane and skinny dipping in the creek. To breaking into abandoned houses and coming home with a hangover and dirty knees. Days, and nights, like these were when you thought, Life doesn't get much better than this.
Chucky had been in your life for as long as you could remember, so it only made sense to go with him when, on one of the last hot days of August, he said, "Let's blow this town, you comin'?"
A part of you wanted to go, simply so that you could make the summer last forever. The other part, the rational part that wasn't effected by the golden glow of childhood nostalgia knew he was only leaving to escape trouble. Knew he and, if you chose to follow him, you would be escaping trouble for the rest of his life.
Later you think it's funny that he brought you to Chicago, where the winters are long and bitter and freezing.
But then the summer comes again. And, there was no harm in remembering. In watching him squinting in the sunshine and tie his hair back against the Chicago humidity. In thinking that, right now, he doesn't look so different from those long gone Jersey days. Shoulders, cheeks, hands.

Pali's got the same scarf Eura, Iowa, and Ganymede, right? Even if he only uses it for cosmetic purposes, can't he still use it to teleport? (ngl got me thinking back to that one post about the "family business")
(oh also, really love that you're trying new things! the story has been going great so far! can't wait to see if some of my speculations hold any weight hee hee 。^‿^。 )
GISGKDKVDKVDIGDKGDGKDKGDKG listen i saw it and i had to
Regarding ur question, it IS the same scarf that his siblings all have, but he can only use it to take him to and from home. Nowhere else. It's basically a mystical magical version of a house key!

i JUST realised your name isn't narcissa-black-supremacy but it's narcissa-black-supermacy lol
dude.........................................believe it or not but this is a TYPO
i am apparently dyslexic. i rely on autocorrect for any word longer than 4 letters and i wasn't even aware that supremacy has nothing to do with the word super until @fonkeloog pointed it out to me a while ago:
