I figured I should introduce my self here sooo hi all I'm Seraph im part of a system im 25 and I go by He/They pronouns. I've been playing ffxiv since 2020 and run a few FCs on the Crystal DC but my main character and main FC are on Zalera. Meet Suzu! She's a young Au ra woman with a mysterious past who claims she came to La Noscea looking for her cartographer father. Since coming to the seaside region this little bookworm has built up quite the life for herself and is currently the headmaster at the prestigious Rose Academy. (Hiatus from RP due to Fanta)

Meet Osamu! He is Suzus brother and was also the villain in her story but after losing everything family included he started to long for the life he could have had if things were different from the start now hes off looking for his sister to try and set things right.

Meet Y'neli! She's the youngest of three and never far from one of her sisters. There's something otherworldly about her and she lives her life like everyday is her last. She's charming and flirty and always ends up with a crowd around her! She spends her days playing and writing music this world has never heard before.

Meet Hideki! He's a performer and has recently been passed down and made the leader of the Hikaru Performance Troupe. Following in his late mothers footsteps he is the star of Hikaru and has the attitude to match. Hes flirty and kinda rude but he's an alright guy deep down!

Meet Rhea! Rhea is a young dancer and seamstress form Thavnair who was one of the first entertainers Hideki scouted to be a part of Hikaru Performance Troupe. Now a dancer and costume designer for Hikaru Rhea loves to bring touches of Thavnair wherever the troupe preforms.

Meet T'wryn! Shes a street rat from Limsa who longs to see the world like the adventurers and sailors she meets on the ships shes so fascinated with. When the opportunity arose to join Hikaru as an acrobat she jumped at the chance and now she gets to make her own stories in the locations she's dreamt of for so long.

Meet Chika! She was a young farmer who dreamed of a bigger life. When she was recommended for a bartending job at a famous theater her whole world changed and now shes getting a taste for the nightlife she always dreamed of.

I was already pretty tired, and this guy was pushing me to my limits - but wow I loved it. 

I mean, second time running these few measures with the pedal and the left hand? When I told my piano teacher that I’d been playing the piano for ten years before that, he might have overestimated just how good I was.

Oh well - it was better than being underestimated. I loved a challenge. And hey, it turned out pretty good. I might have been scared to do it otherwise. 

There’s always room for improvement. For now, I’ll just listen to Moonlight Sonata and wish I was that good.

Hikari wasn’t always the annoying fox that everyone knows her to be.

She used to be relatively…normal. Forgettable. Someone who just blended in, and tried to do her best. Someone who wasn’t very good at anything she did, but still tried. Someone who worked as a farmer, a shopkeeper's assistant, a shrine maiden, a hunter, a carpenter, and many more things she would never remember again. Someone who got yelled at a lot by bosses and fellow employees for not doing a good enough job, who got fired from lots of places for just not being good enough, someone who could barely provide for herself.

As time went on, Hikari found herself getting more and more…upset. She wasn't good enough, was she? If everyone yelled at her, but they didn't yell at each other nearly as much? If she was always the one taking the blame, even when she had nothing to do with what she was being blamed for? There was no one helping her out, no one on her side, no one vouching for her, no one keeping her happy, lifting her spirits, making sure she was okay...

...If no one else would be on her side, not her fellow employees, not her bosses, not her customers, the friends she didn't have, and no one else, who would lift her up? Who would tell her she was great, that she was amazing, that she could do anything? Who would support her? Who would make her feel like she was worth something?

Who else was there but her?

So, even if she knew it wasn't true, she would have to lie to herself. To tell herself that she really was the best, that she could beat anyone in anything, that she was the smartest, the coolest, the most friendly, the happiest girl there was. It was hard at first, her emotions really getting her down and making her stop putting effort into it, but as time went on, only a couple years passed before she went from sad, shy, quiet and depressed, to...

“Oh, y'need me for the job? I’m the best!~ I can do anything, and no one else is better than me!~ Whatever you need, I'm your girl!~"

...even as the crops she harvested were cut too high up, not getting all of it, as she accidentally uprooted other crops with a rake, as she tripped and dropped her basket full of grains all over the floor in the city, she'd just chalk it up to something that would happen to anyone. That it's not her fault, because she's the best, and the smartest. How could the best and smartest be such a failure, after all? There's no way Hikari would be a failure.

some good news!! the spanish state's ministry of equality has finally passed one of the most progressive trans laws on the planet, shielded free and universal access to abortion and banned conversion therapy and genital surgery for intersex babies, among a lot of other feminist policies. the minister of equality irene montero gave a speech thanking spain's lgtb and trans associations for helping her draft these legislations. couldn't be more proud!!
